i was telling my bf earlier in the parking lot of his library, about the times i used to rent the VHS' for degrassi high from my local library in the 2000s. there were about 20, with 2 eps 30 min. each, idk if they still have that sort of thing. who would bother renting vhs' now?
+more under read more
the first eps i saw was about kathleen mead. i didn't watch dh in order. i watched next gen before i watched the degrassi high/degrassi junior high content.
one was about finding random drugs in a tampon vending machine in the ladies' room and bringing them to her sleepover/birthday party where there was a sleepover kind of party.
so once i guess her mom went to sleep, everyone got 'mega high' except caitlin (bc at that point in the series perhaps she's this goodie 2 shoes/she is an epelpetic idk if that makes things worse smoking weed or didn't seem like her vibe, which isn't an issue but i can see caitlin being 420 friendly circumstantially or there was a vibe/implied heavily she experimented with that at least in college or something!) and her i think kathleen's best friend like longtime bestie insensitively like no fcks given, told the girls all kathleens secrets.
she was an emotional high person, these girls shouldn't smoke tbh they got too much baggage ESPECIALLY KATHLEEN and evidently melanie too, and some of her skeletons were pretty damning but i assumed everyone knew about the boyfriend/the drunk mom so idk. meanwhile like poor diana didn't feel a thing! melanie wouldn't shut tf up, and it was lowkey sad for some reason bc the next episode was about her getting the snot beat out of her by a mean older creepy violent angry rude jerkass boyfriend ironically like,
why is this the first thing to come to mind when it comes to libraries?
i did remember that in the episodes, caitlin despite all the mean shit kathleen had said over the years about her, or snide and sneaky things she'd done to her over the time they were in school, actually comforted her.
caitlin was a saint bc i wouldn't ever comfort my bullies after that, i think kathleen tried to kind of weasel rick from caitlin bc she was jealous. early kathleen like jr high version ugh what a cringey and annoying, bitchy girl, like awful and annoying as all get out, in hs she had like deeply sad sad plots by comparison not to mention took a few levels in badassery but still, like caitlin of all people really?
also worth noting finding two wrapped joints in a bathroom tampon vending machine in like 1989, is just listed under things that would NEVER happen in any country or planet on earth, the likely hood is almost impossible. that shits expensive and they're all getting that stuff for free?
it's the same thing as, who would waste quality drugs on a trick-or-treater/child? simply just doesn't happen, fear mongering is the reason we all have to begrudgingly attend trunk or treats with our adult friends who are parents or hear about it from friends who have kids. like i needed another reason to just generally not want kids tbh, i'd be goddamned if random drugs came out of a tampon or pad dispenser like that, i'd be like 'okay.' i'd probably smoke it because, that's a goddamn miracle and it would probably never happen again, the equivalent to finding a four leaf clover without looking as if its a needle in a haystack on the grass.
knowing degrassi, it was probably intended for other people, like seriously it wasn't intended for kathleen and her friends, it was like a girl sharing the wealth with a friend, and it somehow fell in the wrong hands tbh. for all we know it could've been oregano. for all we know it was just like a placebo and like melanie snitched and turned on kathleen because she was sick and tired of her shit because they were amateurs and didn't inhale or something. that whole crew no offense were like 'desperate wannabes' or misfits like the ones on mean girls with the wide-flow and the heavy-set vag/army pants and flip-flops and stuff like that.
PS if you're wondering those episodes i think were called: nobodys perfect & the all-nighter

Name: Diana Lea Hamato Birthday: April 2 (22) Parents: Donatello Hamato Occupation:  Genius Built R&D/ Ninja Sexuality: Pansexual Siblings: none / hamato cousins she was created with Abilities: mystic tech formation she can use to control tech around her/ skilled ninja
Details:
Diana Hamato is the only daughter of Donatello Hamato or well, she’s his clone. Donnie had decided at some point that his brother’s bond couldn’t end with them and he’d started researching cloning. He argued that it was because he wanted the Hamato clan to continue in order to keep the balance after they’d defeated Shredder but Diana had heard the story multiple times and had come to the conclusion that her dad was, in fact, soft and he loved his brothers too much. Regardless, Diana was created second after Rey and was very firmly the center of Donnie’s world. There were a lot of complicated feelings that came with being a clone especially in the Hamato family. Personally, Di thought it was fascinating but she did share her intelligence with her father. She had quite a few traits, obviously, with him but she also had her own. She was friendlier, compassionate, and overall, much more optimistic. She understood logic and reasoning but she also knew that things didn’t always need an explanation.
Her dad passed on his heirloom bo staff when Diana was old enough to go on missions with her Uncle Leo. She wasn’t the best ninja compared to her cousins and her uncles. She was clumsy and hesitant when it came to actually hitting someone. The mystic side of it was easy to her, she was able to have a firm control of tech around her and make her very naturally which often left her dad stumped since he’d struggled to get control of that. Donnie was a doting father and there was nothing he wouldn’t give her but he also pushed her hard when it came to training. She’d gotten hurt one too many times because of her self-doubt. She and her father trained in their home dojo everyday and then had dinner together. It was nice to drag her dad away from his inventions. Though, they did spend a lot of time together in the lab when she was working on something too.
Most of her free time was spent gaming. She loved playing video games with her friends, Enzo and Nanami. She did get into streaming and honestly, it destroyed her sleeping schedule. Not that Donnie had ever been a good example to her either. She also enjoyed skateboarding and playing sports with her cousins, another difference from her father who thought sports were ridiculous. Uncle Leo insisted that they have normal lives outside of sneaking on rooftops in the dead of night. He was their sensei, their leader, and their biggest supporter and always made sure they knew to do what was right. Their first solo mission, that they kinda did behind his back, was how they found Casey and brought him home. It seemed like it was meant to be and Casey was part of the Hamato clan in no time. She did spend time with Uncle Mikey harnessing her mystic energy and working on her strength with Uncle Raph. They were all very family oriented but Di spent the most time at the Seara castle training with Aerwyn, playing with Matteo and being Lorena’s emotional support and vice versa. She and Lorena were very close just like their dads. She also visited her Aunt Trix often. She was Di’s hero and she was always happy to see her and gushed to everyone she knew that her Aunt Trix was the best. Diana knows she’s lucky to have great uncles, cousins, and a loving father.
+ warm, friendly, innovative, brave -  impulsive, sarcastic, perfectionist, clumsy
Connections:
Rey, Millie, and Lorena: cousins, fellow clones, team, best friends Aerwyn and Matteo: cousins Casey Jones: adopted brother Enzo McQueen: best friend/fellow gamer Dixie Reyes: close friend Nanami Nakamura: close friend/fellow gamer Rory Utonium: co-worker, friend
fc: hailee steinfeld

✫⌒ closed starter (NEXTGEN)
for: @donatellosfm ( DIANA HAMATO )
Una-Julie adjusted the black bow headband in her hair. Catching her reflection on the glass of a nearby window, she found herself smiling. “Diana, how may I assist you tonight?” she asked, making sure to keep her voice low. “I have chosen darker clothes this time, as I don’t wish to interrupt your ninjutsu.”
She flew up in the air, grinning at her new acquaintance. She hoped one day this acquaintance could be a friend, and that meant remembering she could not wear bright clothes in the night when they were practicing the art of working in the shadows. “Could you one day teach me how to be a ninja too? Are ninjas allowed to fly or must they stay on foot?” she asked, lowering herself so she was once more on the ground.

Have you thought about a wondertrev baby?
No, I hadn’t before, but now that you brought it up I’ve actually been putting together Greek names for something else and I’m really attached to Anthea. It’s supposed to mean “flower, blossom” in Ancient Greek and I can totally picture Diana wanting to name her daughter something in Greek, but they can call her “Thea” for short (or, ya know, around people who don’t know she’s an Amazon). I’m also partial to Calliope, which means “beautiful voice”, and her nickname could be Callie or Calla (like a Calla Lily). So, maybe one of those names? I don’t know, I just really picture them having a sweet little girl who’s got her mother’s fire and her father’s charisma and is totally captivating to everyone around her and is super curious and adventurous.
Ugh. She’d be the cutest and spunkiest little warrior princess ever!

hi, faceclaims that could possibly be associated with the next gen, opinions? diana silvers but in her ma vibe era, eva de dominici, emily rudd, dylan sprayberry for henry jr, ALSO, i know nina dobrev is WAAAY too overused / defined for kat/tam for ur tastes but she's like... the only actress i know who can portray two people so differently you would think they're portrayed by two different people, i don't know softer actresses i'm so sorry
i’m putting images 4 everyone bc i had to google like everybody but okay so diana silvers
Tumblr media
i feel like she’s a great face for the nextgen, i’d say either melinda or pj, but like honestly you could make an argument for just about anyone
Tumblr media
this one’s eva de dominici she’s definitely Not the vibe of how i picture melinda however i think she would make like a great melinda for someone’s variant of her. i could also like if she was styled really differents i could see her as kat (and then i guess by extension tamora)
Tumblr media
here’s emily rudd who just as an observation is doing like the blue eyes pose in almost every single one of her photos in spite of her blue eyes i think she’d be great for one of phoebe’s kids, probably peyton maybe parker
Tumblr media
this is dylan sprayberry who i have never seen in a single thing ever even tho he looks like y’know just so generic that i feel like he should be in like everything. i would say he reminds me more of chris than henry, but i also feel like he looks like how a lot of people picture henry, but that’s like based on v little evidence
Tumblr media
i know what nina dobrev looks like off the top of my head im just adding her photo for consistency. to be perfectly honestly i never really like consider acting ability when fancasting bc like. idk it’s like not important bc they won’t be acting it’s literally just for the visuals also i have never seen tvd but i have heard good things about her performance on there so 👍 i really like her in her current era i wasn’t a big fan of her style in tvd like that who look i just thought it was so commonplace and just like made her seem undefined (also i think she looks A Lot like victoria justice when her hair’s straight, i think that’s a common uhh celebrity twin omg victoria and nina as tam & kat lmao) if i was like Actually casting the next gen like i was a casting director casting a tv i think i would actually want to cast twins as tamora and kat bc like. they are like p prominent characters and they also share like a good amount of scenes together so i feel like for one actress to do all that like that’s really a lot of work it’d be like twice the amount of work compared to anyone else Also the way i picture tam & kat they have like v different hairstyle with tamora’s hair to her mid back and kat’s hair is like a pixie cut which means one of them would have to wear a wig and let’s face it wigs almost never look good on tv. However, once again, if i was doing actual casting of a next gen tv show i think it’d be really fun to throw nina dobrev in there somewhere just bc she was like a lead on a teen supernatural tv series i think it’d be a nice lil idk if callback is the right word but something of that ilk i think she’d just be a fun actress to have there

instead of giving wonder woman that shitty plotline about her abandoning her son because he’s a boy, if dc gave half as many fucks about diana as they do batman, this is how they would’ve handled a nextgen story for wonder woman.
enter lyta trevor, wonder woman’s daughter, the first amazon born to a man, the first and only amazon who has never seen paradise island, the first amazon whose home is man’s world. of course, diana instills in her a sense of pride in her heritage and teaches her all about the ways of the amazons, and lyta grows up loved and cherished, becoming every bit an accomplished warrior as her mother and as charming and noble as her father.
but unlike diana, lyta is a child of two worlds. all of her mother’s tales, told with a wistful, misty-eyed longing, all the stories of a homeland she has and will never see, make her wonder if she’ll ever be a true amazon. how can she be, if she’s never met her sisters, never swam in the blue oceans of paradise, never walked the halls where millennia’s worth of their history lies, where her mother first took up her sword with a vow to protect mankind? how can she, when themyscira is little more than a fairytale, a bedtime story, and “home” to her are the busy streets of paris and the ice cream parlor down the corner and the friends she’s made in school and in life?
this would be lyta’s journey to reconcile her two halves, to honor her heritage and discover her legacy and place in the world. this is her coming to the realization that she can be both. if it’s never been done before, then she’ll just have to be the first, just like her mother was the first to leave home in pursuit of the greater good. amazon warrior or man’s world woman, she is both. princess hippolyta or lyta trevor, she is both. most importantly, she is the result of a love so true, it defied the ravages of time, broke all the rules and beat all the odds. in the end, she’s lyta trevor, of both themyscira and man’s world, and she’s proud of it.

Update!
A quick lil update on everything that’s currently in progress (because sometimes you just need a categorised list): On tumblr Feeling Alive (Bucky x Reader, dancing, dating and angsting): 11 chapters posted (including introduction), 12 fully written, 1 still in progress. Plans for 15 in total with a reader-elected epilogue at the end! Finish date: by the first of August. Future plans? Have another idea (or several) kicking around for Bucky x reader fics and I’ll run the main one past the readers before Feeling Alive wraps up. On AO3 Be my time-bomb lover (Wolfstar, uni!AU, shitty mental health and healing/growing together): 19 chapters posted, plans for ??? Chapter 20 is currently in progress (about 1000 words in, already cried once). Definitely requires at least a few more weeks to finish because it’s so heavy. Finish date: never?!?! Nah if this is finished by the end of the year I will be astonished but that’s the vague goal. Future plans? Already have one epilogue written and there are plans for two more. A Wish That’s Made With Idle Mind (Newtina, continuing canon with added Fair Folk and Scottish countryside): 3 chapters posted, 1 grumbling along, plans for ??? This fic is seriously hard for me to write but I am determined to persevere because it’s probably good to be challenged. That being said, this is the fic that’s easiest to shelve- which is why updates have been sporadic, even for me. Finish date: lol. Future plans? Idek if I’ll finish before the next film comes out and totally overrides my ideas so… Isaac Scamander and the Impossible Suitcase (Nextgen idiots get up to Hogwarts hijinks): MY BABY. 1 chapter posted, plans for ??? I love this fic but it’s been on hiatus for so long and there was so little interest in it that I’ve just let it sit for several months. But I will be going back. I love that fic. Finish date: hm. Future plans? Finish literally just finish writing it. Just Another Dream (Marauders and La La Land I COULDN’T RESIST): 1 chapter posted, another half written. I will go back to this one. I love the tone and the mood, I’m just lacking a little in direction (although I might truncate it to a shorter fic. Just thought of that). Another one that’s on the back burner. Finish date: um. Future plans? Finish the gd fic. To The End Of Their Days (Bagginshield time travel fix it, Bilbo has amnesia, Dwarves are sneaky): 5 chapters posted, one in progress, plans for 500 probably. This one ground to a halt because the current chapter will not flow and I haven’t yet been able to bring myself to delete everything and start over. But one day I will. And we’ll be back rolling. I love this stupid ship way too much to abandon it. Finish date: UM. Future plans? Finish finish finish.
Original fic
Yes, it’s going. Very slowly, but it’s going. One hundred words a day might be an achievable goal for that one.
Future fic
Wonder Woman. I have to write something for Wonder Woman. Maybe Wondertrev. Maybe I’ll give Diana a girlfriend. I’m not sure but it will happen.
A Flame By Any Other Name. Linny, uni!AU (I KNOW I KNOW) with trans!Ginny and flowercrowns and cute shenanigans.
Wolfstar!Absolutely daft AU. Sirius is in rehab, Remus works at the Welsh Mountain Pony stud on the other side of the hill. They meet, there’s angst, they fall in love. A modus operandi? Me?
Friends at Hogwarts fic. My friends know I write fic. @justkeeplaughing-nevergiveup has specifically requested a fic with us all at Hogwarts. One day I’ll get round to writing it.
And that’s it! This has kind of turned into a masterlist? Now you can see the mad range of fandoms I live in.

International Franchise Association Foundation Announces Grand Prize Winners of 2019 NextGen in Franchising Global Competition
Of hundreds of applicants from around the world, top four millennial entrepreneurs receive investment to grow their businesses
Washington, DC( RestaurantNews.com) The International Franchise Association’s( IFA) Foundation announced today the grand prize winners of its 2019 NextGen in Franchising Global Competition — established by founding sponsor David McKinnon, CFE — which was held at IFA’s 59 th Annual Convention in Las Vegas, Nevada. The four millennial entrepreneurs, who hailed from the United States, Philippines, Australia, and Kenya, were selected from a group of 12 wins of the Global Competition, a worldwide program that engages millennial entrepreneurs seeking to grow their businesses through the franchise business model, and the only start-up business accelerator in the world focused on franchising.
Former Fortune 50 CEO and 2016 Presidential Candidate Carly Fiorina resulted a panel of magistrates for the final round of the Global Competition — which was sponsored by the Frederick A. DeLuca Foundation and Subway International — on Wednesday, Feb. 27, when each participant pitched their business concept to Fiorina and a panel of industry experts, as part of a convention with virtually 4,000 attendees, for the chance to win an investment of $5,000- $10,000 to assistance grow their business. In addition to Carly, judges included Suzanne DeLuca Greco, board member of the Frederick A. DeLuca Foundation, and Shelly Sun, CFE, CEO and Founder of Brightstar Franchising LLC.
“I have counseled numerous entrepreneurs and business leaders throughout my career and can honestly say the 2019 NextGen in Franchising Global Competition wins are an unbelievably talented group with bright futures ahead of them, ” said Carly. “It was an honor to share my experiences and advice on how to persevere as a leader as they move their businesses forward, continue to expand, and inspire the lives of many throughout their journey .”
This year, Jeremy Hassell, founder of City Cave, took home first place, which included a $10,000 cash prize. Princess Diana Rosario, founder of What’s Your FLAN ?, and Brooke Gagliano, founder of Frutta Bowls each received $5,000. The magistrates also awarded a $5,000 award to Venuste Kubwimana, founder of A Water Kiosk at School, a social enterprise franchise.
“We are highly excited to be announced as the 2019 NextGen winners amongst some of the worlds greatest talent. It’s unbelievable to think our franchise from little old Brisbane in Australia has taken the big prize, ” said Hassell. “Our biggest win here is the friends, mentors and networks we have been exposed to and can not wait to implement all we’ve learned into our franchise model. We look forward to returning to the conference next year and couldn’t be more thankful to the IFA Foundation for this incredible opportunity.”
Since the program’s inception in 2015, over 2,500 millennial entrepreneurs from more than 75 countries have applied. Many NextGen winners ought to have featured in top business publications such as The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Inc ., and Fast Company, among others.
“What I love about the NextGen in Franchising Global Competition is that, per year, our winners genuinely represent the future of our industry. They have embraced franchising and are passionate about empowering others to go into business for themselves, but not by themselves, ” said David McKinnon, CFE, founding sponsor of the NextGen in Franchising program. “These are some of the brightest young entrepreneurs I’ve had the pleasure of meeting and I am aroused to see how they leverage the knowledge gained and connects made over the last few days to grow their businesses.”

He was inspired by personal experiences growing up in communities where students stroll long distances to gather water for their families before and after going to school. As a result, many children in the area have a high propensity to drop out of school in order to meet their needs. A Water Kiosk at School is a school-based and student-managed business selling clean tap water to community residents at an affordable price. It is both an educational and profitable business teaching students business and entrepreneurial skills and making much-needed income for schools.

Diana really had no clue what to do here. She wasn’t exactly great at calming people down. This wasn’t the usual for them anyway. Normally, the four girls did nothing else other than missions and hang out in between. They were very much attached and their group chat was miles long. She should check that it would be fun to see how much they actually talked to each other. She was better with statistics than feelings. However, she did know the situation was tense and that they should really sit down and talk about it. A quick call to dear Uncle Mikey and they had the restaurant during after hours. This was the most neutral spot and Uncle Leo would be too distracted fighting with her Dad to really look for them. Not to mention Uncle Mikey wouldn’t allow the blue leader to make a scene here. She pushed open the door as she typed away on here phone letting her cousins know they were good to go. She could smell the fresh pizza that was probably made just for them before they were given privacy. It was definitely distracting and Diana hope over the counter to the other side to get the food setup while she waited for her cousins.

International Franchise Association Foundation Announces Grand Prize Winners of 2019 NextGen in Franchising Global Competition
Of hundreds of applicants from around the world, top four millennial entrepreneurs receive investment to grow their businesses
Washington, DC  (RestaurantNews.com)  The International Franchise Association’s (IFA) Foundation announced today the grand prize winners of its 2019 NextGen in Franchising Global Competition — established by founding sponsor David McKinnon, CFE — which was held at IFA’s 59th Annual Convention in Las Vegas, Nevada. The four millennial entrepreneurs, who hailed from the United States, Philippines, Australia, and Kenya, were selected from a group of 12 winners of the Global Competition, a worldwide program that engages millennial entrepreneurs seeking to grow their businesses through the franchise business model, and the only start-up business accelerator in the world focused on franchising.
Former Fortune 50 CEO and 2016 Presidential Candidate Carly Fiorina led a panel of judges for the final round of the Global Competition — which was sponsored by the Frederick A. DeLuca Foundation and Subway International — on Wednesday, Feb. 27, when each participant pitched their business concept to Fiorina and a panel of industry experts, as part of a convention with nearly 4,000 attendees, for the chance to win an investment of $5,000 – $10,000 to help grow their business. In addition to Carly, judges included Suzanne DeLuca Greco, board member of the Frederick A. DeLuca Foundation, and Shelly Sun, CFE, CEO and Founder of Brightstar Franchising LLC.
“I have counseled numerous entrepreneurs and business leaders throughout my career and can honestly say the 2019 NextGen in Franchising Global Competition winners are an incredibly talented group with bright futures ahead of them,” said Carly. “It was an honor to share my experiences and advice on how to persevere as a leader as they move their businesses forward, continue to expand, and inspire the lives of many throughout their journey.”
This year, Jeremy Hassell, founder of City Cave, took home first place, which included a $10,000 cash prize. Princess Diana Rosario, founder of What’s Your FLAN?, and Brooke Gagliano, founder of Frutta Bowls each received $5,000. The judges also awarded a $5,000 prize to Venuste Kubwimana, founder of A Water Kiosk at School, a social enterprise franchise.
“We are extremely excited to be announced as the 2019 NextGen winners amongst some of the worlds greatest talent. It’s unbelievable to think our franchise from little old Brisbane in Australia has taken the big prize,” said Hassell.
Many NextGen winners have been featured in top business publications such as The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Inc., and Fast Company, among others.
“What I love about the NextGen in Franchising Global Competition is that, each year, our winners truly represent the future of our industry. They have embraced franchising and are passionate about empowering others to go into business for themselves, but not by themselves,” said David McKinnon, CFE, founding sponsor of the NextGen in Franchising program. “These are some of the brightest young entrepreneurs I’ve had the pleasure of meeting and I am excited to see how they leverage the knowledge gained and connections made over the last few days to grow their businesses.”
The 2019 NextGen in Franchising Winners competing in the final round were:
Brooke Gagliano, Frutta Bowls (United States) – Brooke graduated from Drew University in 2014 majoring in business with a minor in biology and art. After college, Brooke used her passion for athletic education to start her own business training sports teams and clients, which is where she was first introduced to acai. While on a trip out west, Brooke had her first acai bowl and the idea for Frutta Bowls was born. With the support of her friends and family, she opened her first store in May 2016 in Howell, New Jersey, at age 23 with cofounder Chris Ives. The Frutta Bowls dream started as a local idea with two locations. It has since grown into a nationwide concept, continuing to positively affect many lives along the way. Frutta Bowls sets itself apart by not only its commitment to providing healthy and delicious food, but also by its involvement in the communities surrounding each location.
Princess Diana Rosario, What’s Your Flan? (Philippines) – Princess is the founder of What’s Your Flan?, a company founded in 2016 that is the product of her passion for cooking. What’s Your Flan? serves original mouthwatering desserts that are all freshly made, natural, and have no food coloring or preservatives. From humble beginnings and 14 failed businesses, she was shaped to be a better business owner, influencing the launch of her Philippines-based business designed to help fellow entrepreneurs have the opportunity to become their own boss. After two hardworking years of business, What’s Your Flan? has expanded from a single location to 70 franchisees nationwide, one international franchise in Dubai UAE, and hundreds of registered resellers.
Jeremy Hassell, City Cave (Australia) – Recognizing the need for a health and wellness center that focused on longevity and total well-being of individuals, Jeremy Hassell launched City Cave in Australia with cofounder Tim Butters. Since the opening of its first location in 2016, City Cave has grown to offer a combination of holistic and clinical services tailored to each guest’s needs and provides the ideal space for relaxing and meditation. From float therapy to infrared saunas and yoga, City Cave aims to deliver the perfect facility that adds years of quality life to those in the community. Today, City Cave has 4 locations across Australia, with plans to continue its expansion.
Venuste Kubimana, A Water Kiosk At School (Kenya) – Named amongst Africa’s Top 50 Innovators in 2018 and AIDF Global Innovator of the Year, Venuste Kubwimana is a youth activist and social entrepreneur based in Kenya. He is the Founder and Secretary General of the International Transformation Foundation, a parent organization of the franchising initiative A Water Kiosk at School launched by Venuste in 2014. He was inspired by personal experiences growing up in communities where students walk long distances to gather water for their families before and after going to school. As a result, many children in the area have a high tendency to drop out of school in order to meet their needs. A Water Kiosk at School is a school-based and student-managed business selling clean tap water to community residents at an affordable price. It is both an educational and profitable business teaching students business and entrepreneurial skills and generating much-needed income for schools.
The additional 2019 NextGen in Franchising winners include: Abedalrahman AL-Zghoul, Bread for Education (Jordan); Gamal Albinsaid, Garbage Clinical Insurance (Indonesia); Jason Dolan, Core9 Fitness (Australia); Reka Oszlanczi, Creppy Franchise System (Hungary); Rihab Hasanain, Blooming B’s (Saudi Arabia); Ruth Agbaji, Code Wiz (United States); Samuel Munguti, Farmers Pride (Kenya); and Timea Vas, Don’t Panic English (Hungary).
NextGen winners received a spot at the NextGen in Franchising Summit, an educational and networking program for next generation entrepreneurs at the IFA Annual Convention, a year membership with the IFA; an opportunity to participate in the final round of the NextGen in Franchising Global Competition for a chance to win a monetary investment to help grow their businesses; and opportunities to network with leading franchisors, franchisees and suppliers and with other young entrepreneurs.
The NextGen in Franchising program is made possible due to the generosity of its donors and sponsors, which include David McKinnon, the founding sponsor; the Frederick A. DeLuca Foundation/Subway; the Stewart & Jane Bainum Fund; Lawrence “Doc” Cohen, Doc & Associates; J. Willard and Alice S. Marriott Foundation; Tariq Farid, Edible Arrangements; Charlie Chase, FirstService Brands; Aziz Hashim, NRD Holdings; Joe Bourdow, Valpak; Tony Valle, ELM Perform; Dave Mortensen, Anytime Fitness; and Melanie Bergeron, Two Men & A Truck Intl.

Oh never knew you had a nextgen band! Who are they? Also unrelated but i noticed with my two demon characters that their horns match how their hair looks. Chuck’s horns look like thompson gazelle horns and his hair is spiky while moe has curly horns and a sorta curly pompador. I dont think hair type and horn type match all the time in my au but i think sometimes you do - amii
I thought it was odd i never spoke of them before,so i looked for a time when i explained who they were and reblogged it for your reference!
But to Summarize; The Prism Colors (or Prisma Color) is a 5 member Band Formed by Diana and Adonis,Kids of Rudy and Scarlett. The other 3 Members are Hollie,Roy and Olivia's daughter, Tanner who's son of Hugo & Janana, and Michael, son of Trishna and Nick. Some Not-yet-official members are Cairo and Bento.
If you notice each name is colored a different way, that is because that's the main theme of their band, Colors.
The Band and Their Outfits are Heavily inspired in Daft punk, who i found out today that parted ways ;(
Tumblr media
They used to be just 4 members before,Because I barely had ideas on who else would be Interested to be part of it. Eventually Mike,Bento and Cairo would come along tho.
I'm actually doing some Series of Drawings to make tribute to them! since they are separated now..
Tumblr media
This is Tanner!
He is one Passionate Music lover..
Oh and,That's a Cool fact! I am still Sketching the Demon drawing since I felt too tired to continue it yesterday,But i haven't forgotten about it!
