For a really long time, I have been wanting to make my rounds and visit other DIYer’s lawns! Today, I was able to accomplish that. I pay our mix master himself, Chad, a visit to talk about his first lawn application, or round one, of the year. We go over the Prodiamine pre emergent that he is going to use, talk about how much RGS he is applying, as well as how much GreenePunch for his 21,000 square foot yard. We also take soil samples from his yard that has been treated for the past four years with N-Ext products, and compare those to his neighbor, who hasn’t done anything!

N-Ext RGS™ functions as a biological magnifier.

N-Ext RGS™ is designed to increase rooting and decrease stress pressure caused by heat and drought. The biologically active material contains Humic Acid and Sea Kelp to aid in initial spring green up, to buffer and extend nitrogen release rates, and to add oxygen to the soil profile for greater nutrient uptake.

Apply a minimum of two times per year at a minimum rate of 3 ounces per 1,000 sq. ft. and a maximum of 6 ounces per 1,000 sq. ft. Apply in the early spring with pre-emergent application or with first nitrogen application. Second application should be with fall fertilizer. Product can be applied year round at 3 ounces per 1,000 sq. ft. Do not exceed 3 ounces when daytime temps are above 85 degrees.

18-0-1 GreenePunch™ Lawn Fertilizer is engineered to be a complete product for all varieties of turfgrass. It is formulated to produce a quick green-up response and maintain consistent color for 6-8 weeks. GreenePunch™ 18-0-1 will produce a strong root mass which will grow deeply into the soil. It will stimulate soil activity necessary for building sustainable fertility.

For cool season grass varieties, it is the recommended product for every lawn application.

For warm season grass varieties, it is the recommended product for applications during the cooler months.

18-0-1 is not recommended for non-irrigated lawns during periods of drought stress.
