honestly, i don't see taeyang as really being one for pet names? if you see him as that guy that's totes fine! but to me, he just doesn't give off that vibe. he'd probably just find some sort of nickname with your name, and if your name's too short, then baby and sweetheart would be likely. taeyang strikes me as someone who would be embarrassed to call you a pet name in public or in front of others, but if he were to use one, it would be baby: sweetheart is for behind closed doors where absolutely no one can hear. and he will deny ever calling you that. ever.

intak is also such a cutie, and i feel he's very romantic. bubs is probably his go-to, but baby is a close second. sometimes bubs is your name and baby is your nickname. similar to taeyang, i feel he would only call you prince/princess when it's just you two, almost like it's a secret nickname. ( it's his favorite but he's embarrassed. )

this cutie pie right here would come up with so many different names to call you. obviously i don't have that smart, cutie, unique brain of his, so i can't supply you with any of them, but just know that you're in for it with him. ( like how he calls keeho snucky. ) but on the 'normal' side of things, love and bubs were the first two that came to mind when i thought about nicknames.

keeho always finds a way to be touching you—be it with his knee touching yours while sitting, his fingers lightly caressing your hand, etc. it doesn't come as a surprise when you find out he is a cuddler. even when the two of you aren't actually cuddling, he's still got his foot touching your leg, or his hand grasping yours. the time he craves your cuddles the most is when he's back from tour. he's so touch-deprived and cuddling with shota and intak isn't the same as you :(

『choi taeyang : theo』

a little shy about it. he doesn't want to admit that he likes being cuddled. it takes some time before taeyang's open about the idea, and even then it's a little awkward at first. one day you suggest cuddling him, and his knees go weak. poor baby was too embarrassed to ever ask you. tries to be sly about it, but he fails cause you see the redness of his face when you prompted him with the question. not to your surprise, it ends up being less awkward, and both of you love it. taeyang always locks the door before you cuddle, as he doesn't want the members to see, leaving jongseob and soul to sleep on the couches.

『choi jiung』

a literal koala. both in public and behind closed doors, he is all over you. he isn't too affectionate with his members, so it gave intak whiplash seeing jiung be so touchy with you. why isn't he like that with him?! jiung physically cannot sleep without having his head tucked into your neck—so tour is hard for him. he's quite literally addicted to you.

『hwang intak』

loves cuddling, but my god is he a sweat box. y'all fall asleep fully-clothed and cuddled beneath the blankets, and wake up with the blankets on the floor, intak without a shirt, you without pants, and the only thing in contact is your head on his arm. as hot as he is normally, when he's sick he craves more attention which means more cuddles which means more sweat! you just gotta deal with it at this point.

『haku shota : soul』

shota doesn't initiate it, but he doesn't mind if you ask. the most he'll ever do is rest his head on your shoulder when sitting next to you, or hold your hand when laying down. he isn't scared to do it, he just wants you to make the move so he knows you're comfortable with it. eventually, he'll rest his head on your shoulder when going to sleep, and when you turn and wrap your arms around him, he understands just how okay you are with it.

『kim jongseob』

the two of you have never slept in the same bed, but have had multiple naps together on the couch. taeyang and keeho (& sometimes intak) refuse to let you both be in a room by yourselves, much less share a bed. most times, jongseob is laying between your legs, with his chest on yours. by doing this so often, you've created a habit of playing with his hair, and he's not complaining. jongseob gets a little shy when the older members notice you two cuddling, but he gets at keeho and intak for not having partners to begin with.

synopsis. you bump into a stranger on the street while trying to save a kitten.

“are you alright?” you hear a voice ask. the voice sounded soft, and when you turned to meet the stranger’s face, your assumption was true — the boy did look sweet.

“there's a kitten,” you say, sounding rather panicked. “it's on the road.” the boy looks to where you’re pointing. squinting slightly, he notices a tiny, white kitten on the small, yet busy street.

“i've been trying to call him over for minutes. he was almost hit by a car!” as you start to become more anxious, you bend down, your knees to your chest, and reach out your hand — rubbing your pointer and middle finger, trying desperately to call the kitten over.

luckily, the kitten starts getting closer towards you. the stranger had mirrored your position, and now you were both trying to get the kitten to come. when it had come a little closer, close enough to be grabbed, the boy reached over to grab the kitten. in the corner of your eye, you had noticed a vehicle coming by quickly, and in a panic, you pulled the boy back, landing on your back as the boy fell slightly onto you.

you're quick to regain yourself. “oh my god, are you okay?!”

the boy’s head is down, but he nods anyway. he turns to look at you, a smile growing onto his face. his arms lift up, revealing the tiny, white kitten. at the sight, you feel your own face begin to lighten with a smile.

“we saved it,” he says, gently caressing the kitten’s head. when you stand up, you reach out a hand to the boy, which he takes, and pull him up.

“thank you for helping. . .” you drag out, realizing you hadn’t asked for the stranger’s name. the kitten in his arms meows — reminding you of the soft-spoken boy in front of you.

“seungmin,” the boy replies, the same smile from before present on his face.

you nod, reciprocating the smile. “seungmin. that's a cute name. i've never heard of it before.”

seungmin laughs softly, his cheeks reddening. “i'm from korea.”

“oh, so you speak korean?” seungmin nods.

“why didn’t you say so?” you ask, switching to korean. in your high-school, it was mandatory to take a language, so you chose korean for the fun of it. you'd never thought it would benefit you later in life.

“oh?” seungmin's noticeably surprised and flustered by the sudden switch in language, but his shock is covered by that adorable smile of his.

“i'm y/n.” you smile at the boy, and he nods his head slightly.

“y/n. that's a cute name. i've never heard of it before,” he says, repeating what you had told him. you laugh at his words. he opens his mouth to say something, but the call of his name stops him.

“seungmin!” someone calls in a sing-song voice. the boy has dark brown hair, almost black, and he’s skipping over towards the two of you. beside him, a boy that looks rather meek.

you don’t fail to notice the way seungmin tenses slightly — as if he’s preparing himself for the seemingly hyper boy. when the other is close enough, you understand why seungmin reacted that way.

“seungmin ~ who’s your friend– is that a kitten?!” the boy hurries towards seungmin, reaching for the kitten. he's cooing, and talking to it in a high-pitched voice. you find it adorable.

you look up at seungmin, and he silently words an apology, but you smile at him, shaking your head. seungmin clears his throat and the boy backs away, though he’s still caught up on the kitten.

“jooyeon, hyeongjun, this is y/n.” seungmin gestures towards you, and you smile slightly, waving your hand.

the brunette’s attention is away from the kitten now, and you start to wonder how young he is.

“hello! i'm jooyeon! wait– do you speak korean?! seungmin introduced us in korean. . . you don’t look korean. is that offensive?” he rambles on.

“jooyeon,” the quiet boy, hyeongjun, says — placing a hand on his shoulder. jooyeon seems to get the memo, as he nods and smiles at you, returning his attention to the kitten.

“hello,” hyeongjun waves politely. “i'm hyeongjun. it's nice to meet you.”

“it's nice to meet you, too, hyeongjun.” you turn towards jooyeon. “and you, too, jooyeon.”

at your words, jooyeon's posture straightens, and he smiles brightly. seungmin and hyeongjun both notice this and simultaneously roll their eyes.

“okay, anyway,” seungmin attempts to change the subject, and to focus his attention on you, but another person joins the group.

“HEY! jooyeon! hyeongjun!” the voice yells, seemingly louder than jooyeon was. seungmin sighs, pursing his lips together into a pout — tiny dimples forming at the corners of his mouth.

“didn't realize this was a reunion,” he whispers under his breath, causing you to smile.

the kitten meows, pushing itself further into seungmin's arms, towards his inner elbow(?). petting it’s head gently, you disregard the loudness of seungmin's friends as you make small talk with him.

“i wonder if he’s a boy or a girl. then we can give him a proper name.”

seungmin nods, gently lifting the kitten into the air to check its gender. his lips pucker as his eyebrows furrow; eyes squinting slightly.

“a girl. . .?” he drags out. you laugh.

“i'll take your word on that.”

seungmin smiles, placing the kitten back in her original position, his eyes looking to you. he goes to say something, but hyeongjun interrupts.

“i don’t mean to interrupt, but we have to finish our schedule.”

seungmin nods, humming. “right.” he turns to you, smiling, and hands you the kitten.

“here, i'll give you my number and we can name her together later.”

“so i'm keeping her? i don’t remember agreeing to this,” you raise a brow, a soft smile on your face. seungmin smacks his lips, sucking in a breath as he brings his finger to his lips, and looks up — as if in deep thought.

“hm, i could’ve sworn we agreed to be her parents.”

you can’t help but let out a breath at his response. seungmin pulls his phone out from his pocket, unlocking it, and handing it to you with the contact form pulled up.

“i'll message you when i get back to my hotel.” you nod.

“see you sometime, y/n.”

as if on cue, the kitten meows at seungmin, causing him to laugh.

synopsis — making banana milk with jiung at 4am.

author's note — i love jiung sm.

fluff, gn!reader, intak + soul + keeho mentioned

"vanilla or vanilla?" you ask in english, grabbing the pure vanilla extract from the cupboard. pursing your lips, you slowly poor some onto the 1/2 tsp. measurer.

"va... nilla?" jiung's voice raises in pitch by the end of his question. he wasn't sure what you were asking.

"the pronunciation," you say, adding the extract to the blender. "do you say it with the i or the e. i say it with the e. vanella."

"i think i say it both ways." jiung pushes the chopped up banana over to you, picking up the extract for you. "why do you bring it up?"

"keeho and i were bickering about it, so i wanted to get your take on it."

jiung laughs softly, taking a piece of banana and popping it into his mouth. "keeho bickers over everything." he stands by you, leaning his back against the counter as he watches you slide the banana pieces off the cutting board and into the blender.

"true. do you have milk?"

jiung crosses his arms, squinting his eyes. "it would've been great to ask that before we started."

you giggle, tilting your head to a downward angle slightly. "i forgoooooot."

though he tries not to, jiung can't help but smile. he pushes himself off the counter and checks the fridge for milk. fortunately there's a little left.

"you're lucky intak hasn't had his ungodly hour cereal craving yet." he hands you the milk and you laugh at his remark.

"hopefully the blender doesn't wake anyone up."

"i don't even think they know we own a blender." jiung is standing by your side now, his hand placed softly at your waist.

"well there isn't enough for them, so." you shrug, closing the lid. you reach down to the buttons to start blending, but you realize it's in japanese.

"it was a gift from shota's mom," jiung says upon seeing your hesitation. "it's this one." he clicks the button for you.

the blender makes a loud sound, and you feel jiung's hand tense on your waist. turning your head to look at him, you pull your smile back and widen your eyes. he smiles, letting out a short laugh.

the blender turns off on its own, and thankfully the bananas seem blended enough to not have to sit through another two minutes of that.

jiung grabs two cups from the cupboard above you and you poor the drink into the glassware.

"homemade banana milk taste test," jiung says, and he takes a sip of the drink. you watch for his reaction as you take a small sip of yours.

he takes the cup away from his mouth and smacks his tongue as he squints his eyes, brows furrowed, in thought.

"it's lacking something."

"you didn't have condensed milk."

"that's probably it," he says, pointing a finger. "it's good though. i like it. not sure if it's something i'd make at 4:36 in the morning, though."

"okay, my bad," you purse your lips, as you put your unoccupied hand in the air in guilt.

"let's finish this and then head to bed, yeah?" you nod, and take another sip of your drink. jiung is halfway finished his.

as you take the last sip of your drink, you hear footsteps coming from up the hallway. jiung takes yours and his glass, setting them in the sink for jongseob to do tomorrow morning ( sorry not sorry, jb ) he thinks.

intak appears in the kitchen and he looks at the both of you with sleepy eyes. he's too tired to say anything.

he goes to the fridge, and you and jiung smile to each other as you sneak out of the kitchen, giggling like little kids when you hear intak groan.

"who the fuck drank all of my milk?"

it was your and jooyeon’s first sleepover, and he had failed to mention how clingy he gets when he’s tired. sure, he’s clingy on the norm, but he hasn't left your side for the past hour — not even when you would go to the bathroom.

“jooyeon, seriously, you need to chill,” you say, becoming irritated at the constant touch. you both are laid out on your couch, watching titanic on your projector. ( he picked it, not you. )

“why?” he whines, dragging out the word as he pushes himself closer into you, his hair tickling your neck. you have to admit, he’s a little cute right now.

“you’ve been attached to me for so long, dude. my left side is numb.”

“that sounds like a personal problem.”

groaning in annoyance, you try to adjust yourself to have more leverage on your left side, but to no avail, jooyeon scoots closer to you. at this point, you were close to shoving the boy off of you, but the sudden silence made you suspicious.

tilting your head to look at the boy, you notice his eyes struggling to stay open. he has a soft smile on his lips. “this is my favorite part.”

your eyes shift to the projected movie — seeing jack seated at the table with all of the rich people, talking about his view on life. of course he likes this part.

“i have the same mindset,” he says, slurring his words. “make each day. . . count.”

glancing at him again, his eyes have now closed and his mouth is open slightly. a smile finds its way onto your face. he is cute.

you turn back to the tv and realize the movie's only 40 minutes in. did he even realize how long it is?

jooyeon moves by your side, and you feel him getting closer.

“y/n, let’s lay down,” he says, sitting straight up from his spot, finally leaving your side. without answering, you shift your position, laying down now with your legs between jooyeon’s legs; him straddling your legs. when you're comfortable, he lays down on top of you — his face in the crook of your neck.

you can smell his shampoo; coconut and sandalwood. it's oddly comforting. your fingers lift to his hair — running them through his strands gently, while your other hand is rubbing his back.

he needed this.

jooyeon was explaining to you earlier how stressed he was with rehearsal, and how he felt he wasn't improving. but you know he was, he gets better every time he plays.

with his breathing steady on your neck, and his heart beating against your chest, you find yourself drifting to sleep with the thought of him on your mind.
