Let us be concerned about one another in order to promote love and good works, not staying away from our worship meetings, as some habitually do, but encouraging each other, and all the more as you see the day drawing near. Hebrews 10:25-26,, Praise God for the successful launch of Philippine Christian Ministry Church. May God use us to grow His kingdom. To God be the glory. Happy Sunday.

Crowded Tourist Spots, Deserted Places and the 'Textile Offended'
I live close to a beautiful tourist area. For a naturist that can be frustrating. The beautiful landscapes, valleys, hill tops and woodlands near where my home, come in two flavours - crowded and deserted.
Tumblr media
I am openly naturist. I hate getting tangled with the 'Textile Offended'. Let me explain my meaning. Most people I meet are generally accepting of naturism; happy and cheerful in their greetings; few are ever offended. All of us have seen a naked woman before. The 'Textile Offended' apparently aren't among them. These are people who walk past you several times to get a closer look or even a photo on their phone. They are likely to go out of their way, even changing direction so that they can be 'offended'. They wear clothes and in this hot sticky summer weather they can get awfully hot and bothered. If possible I like to avoid the risk of being on the same path. They will come up to you to tell you you're 'breaking the law' (you aren't) or 'damaging children' (naturism is NOT a safeguarding issue). The clothed don't offend me by wearing textiles but I do draw the line at them bothering me with groundless arguments and accusations. That does offend me and and it can spoil my day!
Tumblr media
Yesterday we went hiking above Newchurch-in-Pendle. This is a well frequented area with people climbing Pendle Hill. It is a very pretty village and one associated with the Pendle Witches. There is a little shop here 'Witches Galore' and the churchyard reputedly has a hanged witch buried there. See the little witches on brooms on the fingerpost above? It gets busy in summer (and on Hallowe'en).
Tumblr media
I generally don't even put clothes on to start with. I do however carry a side tie bikini with me 'just in case'; little triangles of cloth that cover me (barely). I have 'Daisy Dukes' too if necessary and a very skimpy little gingham blouse. They don't get much wear and the bikini is pretty pointless anyway but they do keep the 'textile offended' at bay! Yesterday I had to wear them for a little while as there were plenty of people about. It is one of the penalties of visiting textile tourist spots!
Tumblr media
Once naked, I STAY naked, even if I see someone approaching. They have already seen me, so what? Nothing looks worse than scrambling furtively into clothes or hiding behind a rock! Just be bold; smile (a lot) and say a very cheerful 'Hello' (around here the phrase is 'How do?' Generally, my 'emergency textiles' stay neatly in my bag where they belong!
Tumblr media
The photographic shots here were all taken in relaxed fashion as we walked the track away from the village towards Ogden Clough. It demonstrates how you can do a little naturism even in a really popular tourist area.
Tumblr media
Most people just tend to hang around the pretty village, buy souvenirs and take cute photos on their phones. I really like that they do! It keeps them off the trails. Yes, we did see a few people hiking on the same path as us but they were mostly busy, like us, enjoying the great outdoors.
Tumblr media
If another hiker comes along the path behind me (one did), I don't really worry too much. I don't think my derrière is capable of offending anyone? I hope not! Hopefully the same is true for my husband. Girls like tight buns too!
Tumblr media
Finally an entreaty! Tumblr is first and foremost a Blog Site. If you are a naturist like me and enjoyed this blogpost, please like, share and re-blog with my blessing. Do add your own affirmative comments. More important, if you feel inspired to hike clothes free, please blog about it too! Though there are maybe 6.5 million naturists in the UK, we do need some more!
I welcome messages from anyone who generally wants to know more about naturism. I also love to chat with other naturists about the lifestyle. This ISN'T a sexually themed blog however (I do have one of those too but the photos will never appear here).
Indeed a Naturist lifestyle is NOT about having lots of sex simply because you're naked! Paradoxically, sex is NOT about nudity and the absence of clothing. Erotic clothing (and its gradual removal) is a sexual tease and a must!. I also work as an adult model. Photoshoots generally start with underwear and what happens when it is removed! As a naturist I simply don't wear any!
My perennial postscript: Thank you to this wonderful guy (my loving husband) for the photos shown here. (I married my photographer!)
Tumblr media
Without him, these blogs would be all words. He makes the blog special with what he does and I love him to bits.
Tumblr media
Walking together with Mart, we are a naturist couple and if we meet anyone else, this is generally more acceptable (for some reason) than being alone. Single naturist men are often criticised, single naturist women tend to get chatted up (and delayed!).

Flight Sergeant Morris Rose of No 3 Squadron points out the essential characteristics of the V-1 flying bomb to other Tempest pilots at Newchurch, 23 June 1944. The Scottish pilot downed his first 'doodlebug' on 16 June, and by the end of July had claimed a total of 11 destroyed.

2nd September 1942. First flight of the Hawker Tempest fighter. A major redesign of the Typhoon, the addition of a new laminar flow wing led to a significant improvement in performance. Despite a protracted development process, the Tempest emerged as one of the best piston-engined fighters of the Second World War. Fast, manoeuvrable and heavily armed, the type had an impressive impact despite its late arrival.
Though the first kills claimed by Tempests came over Bf109s on 8th June 1944, its main baptism of fire came during the V-1 offensive against southern England. Here, their high speed of over 400 mph was a key asset. Tempests destroyed over 800 V-1s, almost half of the total destroyed by Allied aircraft. A number of pilots amassed impressive individual totals, including Sqn Ldr Joseph Berry of 501 Squadron, with 59, with seven on 23rd July alone.
As the V-1 offensive declined and German forces retreated, Tempests began to operate from airfields on the continent. Designed as high-performance interceptors, they proved a match for any Luftwaffe aircraft, shooting down over 200 including several jets. However, they were also increasingly used for ground attack missions, with their 4x20mm cannon being highly effective against trains and vehicles. Rockets weren’t carried during the war, while only a small number of sorties were flown with 500lb bombs, shortly before VE Day.
In the postwar period, the standard Mark V Tempests were joined - and partially replaced - by the Mark II, an even faster variant equipped with a Centaurus radial engine. There was also the Mark VI, a specialised fighter-bomber with an improved Napier Sabre engine. However, the widespread introduction of jets soon saw a decline in the Tempest fleet and they had left frontline squadrons by 1950. Aircraft converted to target tugs, however, continued to serve until 1955.
Pictured:
1) The first Tempest to fly was Mark V HM595, which shared the tailfin and original ‘car door’ cockpit of the Typhoon. These would change before the type entered service.

3) Tempest of 80 Squadron RAF equipped with drop tanks at a Dutch airfield in late 1944. The unit was primarily flying armed reconnaissance missions, tasked with attacking any targets they encountered in a given area.

4) Hawker Tempest TT Mk.5, carrying a target winch pod under the port wing. These aircraft replaced the much slower types previously used as target tugs, such as the Miles Magister.

The Grave of Meg Shelton
Lancashire, England
In the late seventeenth century the people of Woodplumpton, a small village in Lancashire, England believed a woman called Meg Shelton to be a witch. They claimed she would steal the milk from other people’s cattle and transform herself into animal form at night as she carried out her mischievous deeds. According to legend, when Meg was crushed to death by a barrel that pinned her to a wall when she was buried the town took extra precautions to prevent her and her powers from ever rising again. The townspeople buried her vertically, head first in the ground in a small, tight shaft so that if she tried to dig her way out she’d be going the wrong way. They then covered the hole with a large stone so that she may never escape. The stone remains to this day in the churchyard of St Anne’s Church accompanied by a small plaque warning visitors that the Witch of Woodplumpton lies buried beneath. This seemed to work as she was never seen again, although in the 1920’s a young boy said that he had seen a woman dressed in funny clothes wandering in the graveyard.
The famous Eye of God carved into the tower at Newchurch near Pendle Hill was said to keep evil at bay and similar symbols can be seen in ancient houses in the area. At a cottage in Rawtenstall is a witch’s post designed to stop evil coming down the chimney.
Many of the stories associated with Meg tell of her ability to change her appearance and how she would use this ability to cause mischief and steal from the local farmers. On one occasion a farmer became suspicious when he discovered that he had more sacks of corn piled up than there should have been. He grabbed a pitchfork and began to prod the sacks. Suddenly one of the sacks let out a scream and turned into Meg.
On another occasion a farmer looking into one of his fields where he kept his cows saw an old woman with a goose which was feeding on the grass. He thought nothing of it until he noticed that from the goose’s bill was dripping a white liquid. He rushed into the field and kicked the goose at which point it shattered into a thousand pieces spraying milk everywhere. Meg had been stealing milk and had turned her jug into a goose to fool the farmer. Meg screeched with rage and flew off.
One day a farmer saw a hare in one of his fields and set his great black dog after it. The hare moved like the wind but the dog was even faster and a desperate race ensued. Gradually the great black dog moved closer and closer but mysteriously the hare headed straight for Meg’s cottage and escaped through the front door but just at the last moment the dog managed to nip one of its hind legs. From that time on it was said that Meg walked with a pronounced limp!
So if you think someone has given you the evil eye, here are some remedies:
If you are bewitched
a cross made from rowan twigs is said to be effective
A lump of metal, such as an old key or sickle, put under the threshold stone or a broom laid across the doorway will keep evil at bay
Horseshoes nailed onto doors keep the luck in
Stones with holes in them, called hag stones or hex-stones, are very good when hung up at keeping out witches or devil-doings
In old houses have been found glass jars filled with bent nails. These were designed not only to ward off spells but to return the evil to those who had sent it
If this doesn’t work try salt. The purifying properties of salt are renown for destroying a witch’s power
Don’t forget to crumple old eggshells to prevent witches using them as boats or hiding in them
sounding church bells is a sure way to stop witches flying on their broomsticks.

Meet the late, great Alec Bregonzi! A true star of stage and screen, you might have seen Alec in classics like Hancock's Half Hour, The Two Ronnies and the Carry On series. We were lucky enough to have him voice the Prof, Nellie Newchurch and the nefarious Barrow! What a talent.

DS :: Molly GlassesFitting and Customizing:
Included is a customization HUD. Using the HUD you can change the textures of various parts of the glasses, some transparencies, and resize them.
To resize the glasses, you may optionally click on the pose button (on the HUD) to go into a static pose. There are buttons for resizing in coarse, medium, and fine increments, along with a revert button to return the glasses to their original size. You may also restrict resizing to any or all of the X, Y, and Z axes using those buttons on the HUD.
The glasses are fully modifiable, but please remember to make a copy before editing, just in case something goes wrong.
You can manually set the brightness, glow, and transparency of any part of the glasses. Make sure you select materials using "Select Face" in your editing panel to make sure you are editing the exact part you need.
[Advanced Editing Topic] The eyeglasses arms can be rotated to fit your head better, if you find they are fitting too wide or narrow. For best results, adjust the Z-rotation numerically, in .5 degree increments, rather than using the mouse. NOTE: Set your Edit panel to work in "Local" mode from the pop-up menu to accurately rotate the arms on their hinges.
If you have any questions or comments, please feel to send an IM to Victor Newchurch or Deep Static. Our latest eyewear for the 10th birthday round of Uber! We also have a free gift there.
