brown, out of fashion sweaters that provide more memories than warmth so you wear them anyways

classics( i mean wilde and wilde only) tucked in to read on public transport

a thermos of coffee and sometimes tea and sometimes just water

second hand books that serve only as props

notebooks, planners, and schedules

tea rings on the surfaces

coffee stains on offwhite shirts

layered clothing to avoid cold but still at the end of the day your bones ache for something warm, something closer

stark contrast of mild green leaves against faded bricks

every surface you touch is cold including your cheeks

scribbles in the margins

shorthanded words on notes and not understanding them later on

sighing and then watching it materialize in the air before it moves and you move on too

rubbing hands together but feeling cold anyways
