This is my whump blog I guess.

I’ve been stalking the community for a while so i just decided to make a blog to write some of my own shit because i have a couple half made OCs i want to write about and nothing better to do.

I’m a minor so most of the stuff i write is really tropey but im trying my best. Also my actual writing style is shit so i don't really have much going for me. But I've never actually done any creative writing at all until last month and im working on it.

I might not post stuff for a while but i wanted to at least make the blog.

Finally remaking my intro

The name's Rando and I've been in the whump scene for a while now. I've made some drabbles here and there but this time I'm making them into a coherent story.

The masterlist can be found here. this is where I'll be rewriting most of my stuff.

The first actual story I've been planning out here, although a bit nonlinearly. The story follows Juno as he gets kidnapped by a masked figure and turned into a lab rat. Their motive? They had a vision where they gained a vision about groundbreaking knowledge and they need Juno to help complete it. Willingly or not. A whole lot of lab whump in this one.

Listen I didn't know what to name this one. Practically a bunch of drabbles stitched together but I plan on expanding on it. The story follows Zander and Mallory as they try to topple down the hitman company that tried to kill them first, while dealing with their own problems. The tropes for this one are all over the place but it mostly has revenge whump.

I adore factory whump with my life, blame that one creepypasta for it. I also am a big fan of cults, labs and all that. Defiant whumpees are the ones I tend to write the most so yeah. I'm especially a big fan of nightmares and other stuff that scrambles your mind. As for squicks I don't think I have any of those.

So ive came across whump half a year ago and decided to FINALLY make a place for all the ideas i have:)

My favourite topics are:

• being whumped for information

• whipping

• hurt/comfort and sometimes only hurt

• broken bones (fingers, ribs and wrists)

• removing fingernails (im bad at writing these, but i will stubbornly try)

So many little details and possibilities!

Maybe Whumpee eventually take on Whumpers accent throughout all the time-torture and conditioning

Maybe Whumpee has a different or strongly noticeable accent and Whumper ridicules them for it

Whumpee trying so hard to hold on to their accents because that‘s the last part of their identity. The only thing they have left. Maybe the only thing that still reminds them of their home-or of Caretaker once faces and pictures vanish in time, blood and despair

In the same breath Whumper punishing Whumpee for their accent particularly because of that^ or just because they please so

Actively training Whumpee to get a different/Whumper‘s accent and punishing them for each forgetful word and each mishap in pronounciation

Caretaker‘s reaction at Whumpee‘s completely different accent

Oh maybe Whumpee reacts skittish, downright terrified at hearing their old accent, now associating it no more with home but with punishment

okay inspired by another prompt but-

A prince that acts all high and mighty and well to do and overly confident. Someone - maybe a noble, or maybe a commoner, could be anyone that doesn't live in the palace with him - decides they hate his attitude and wants to take him down a notch or ten, so they kidnap him with full intent to torture him.

They get him somewhere alone, toss him around a bit. The prince's behavior has changed like the flip of a switch. His confidence and regal bearing is gone, replaced with cowering and feeble, half-formed pleas and teary eyes. The kidnapper thinks it's just an act to get them to let him go, and they get even angrier about it, so of course they take their anger out on him.

At some point they do strip him down...only to find the evidence of past abuse. Not anything simple either, nothing that could be caused by accidents. His clothes covered whip marks and scars, old and new. And an intricate pattern of brands spanning his shoulders, which looked to be a piece still be in progress.

The prince's change in behavior makes a bit more sense, but does the kidnapper actually care? Or maybe they feel vindicated, believing they're not the only one who thinks the prince needs a behavior adjustment.

Ok here's what I'd do if I were you! Always do things how they work for you though! (Grain of salt and all that) :)

Advice for starting a whump blog

Ask yourself what you want from your blog--to save ideas for yourself? Share your work? What kind of work do you want to share? I recommend choosing something you already do all the time that is just a consistent thing about you. (Mine is writing books, and lists.) This way, you'll be able to keep giving to the community without burning out because it's something you WANT to do.

Name your blog after your vibe (no pressure, you can change it). I just named myself defire because I like orange, people call me a firebrand, and "thefire" was taken.

If you don't want people seeing your content you can always change that setting (I think it's "visibility" or something.)

Make a masterpost with 1: what your blog shares, 2: Your favorite whump tropes, and 3: something about your personality that will probably be part of your interactions. (Optional. Mine is "I'm autistic and I want to reduce shame for survivors.") You can share some of these in your bio and some in the masterpost.

Pin the master post. If your blog evolves later you can always go back and edit it.

Share your posts/reblogs. If you want attention, look at how other people tag posts similar to yours, and use the same tags, that way you'll draw in people that are interested in that same content. i recommend sharing consistently if you want your account to have more followers.

Interact with the community (optional, but it provides a direct link to your personality.)
