Almost a year ago, a friend of mine asked about the same thing, but she asked specifically about my controversial ships lol Consider this post an update to that post cus I have more to say after some time.

But your question is about ships in general so, just for fun, let's turn the globe to years and years ago when Kris (aka me) was still very new in fandom.

And this is very, very, very long, btw, I'm sorry lmao I didn't know I was waiting for this day.

Ahem.

Middle-school Kris was a person who didn't understand the fun of shipping and fanfiction outside of canon; crackship, crossover, non-canon ship, or non-canon rareship, you name it. Kris was a canon main couple shipper. She didn't understand the idea of pairing someone who never interacted, like, huh? What? What are you doing? How can that be fun? Weirdos.

So as a result, Kris only shipped main couples. Also, the safe ones. Since this was in her anime era, her ships were like Ichigo x Rukia (Bleach) (my first real ship; still ship it but I have lost interest since it's sunken xD), Soma x Erina (Food Wars) (the story execution sucked so I lost interest but this was the ship that intro'ed me to Tumblr fandom community), Yona x Hak (Yona of the Dawn) (my fav shojo manga, dear to my heart but not in the fandom or read fics like others), and Okabe x Kurisu (Steins;Gate) (nostalgia now but I hugely loved this), and Twilight x Yor (Spy x Family) (fake marriage Mr and Mrs Smith? Just my shit).

They are all canon ships. You get it.

But then October 2022 happened. The exact date it happened is right after my birthday even LOL

As I have said in the Prev Post I linked above, basically I stumbled on the most influential fic of my life because it changed Kris' everything (my dramatics won't go away because that's how it feels lol) It's CORNY as HELL to list what change, but it's, um, the concepts of humans and bad and good people? And how I see fiction? Ask me in private if anyone is curious for details cus I can't bear to list it *shudder*

It's a fic of a non-canon rare ship. Crackship? No idea, but definitely rare.

And I didn't realise I had been following The White Rabbit to Wonderland, and when I realised what had happened, I hadn't tried to get out.

Caulscott (Life is Strange) showed me how fun it is to ship outside the canon. That ship also introduced me to how it feels to ship a controversial ship, since the guy is very hated in the fandom. In my above post, I called it "my descent to darkness" because that, I guess, was my first controversial debut. I really didn't like the public scrutiny of liking a controversial character btw LOL

I don't know what thoughts of mine I should add to this ship, but I was amazed at the creativity of the people who can transform and develop a blank and a totally BLAH character into someone I love. A BLAH character because Nathan is a one-dimensional one, whom previously I'd found a bit annoying. Admittedly, technically I love the character's potential more than the canon character, but my love for the Fanon Nathan still pours into Canon Nathan.

Hundreds of fics since then, this fic is still at the throne of my favourite fic ever. My friend and I called this fic "The Fic" lol

The fandom is only a handful of people now and it's kinda lonely, but they are my dearest mutuals. This ship made me return to Tumblr, actually, because I left after Food Wars lost me lol I will post more Caulscott tag posts when I have the inspo!

When I encountered Hellcheer (Stranger Things), I was very relieved because it's not controversial at all, because I was tired of walking on eggshells (yes, Caulscott, a dying controversial ghost ship was exhausting enough). But of course, as it turned out...not really, but I won't repeat what I said in the Previous Post. From this fandom, I witnessed how a ship of 5-minute screentime can be so powerful. I clocked Hellcheer when I watched the show, but before I processed it she's dead so I just forgot about it. It only clicked in my head because of a fanart. I was drawn to their different aesthetics; girly girl and a metalhead. It's a ship that started as a rareship, but it grew this far (3.5k on AO3 now) because the fandom is so passionate (and fueled by spite)! It amazes me.

Hellcheer is very versatile. Every AU fits them, I feel. It can be the base of every kind of romance drama possible, even the dark ones. But more than that, it's a ship of women's liberation, in every kind of way; liberation in love, in sexuality, and in creativity, also their liberation from abuse, from toxicity, from their caged body, and from societal pressure. This ship's core is woman, in the form of Chrissy. I think that's beautiful and surprisingly deep? I don't think it's deliberate, it's just the way it is because of the people in the community. This ship might only stem from 5 minutes of screentime, but this ship means a lot to many people. People who want to criticise it can gtfo actually hehe! xD

Hellcheer is reminiscent of my ship pattern before Caulscott. I mean, it's a cliché of loser boy / popular girl romance. I still looove clichés.

Then, one day, I heard the news that there would be a Hunger Games' prequel film. I'm a fan of the franchise so I was looking forward to it but I hadn't read the book. I wasn't feeling anything from the trailer ("Ugh, why President Snow is the MC, why he looks like Eminem here?"), since I was still in the chokehold of the original trilogy. But, then I saw posts about "People shouldn't ship Snowbaird! Snow is evil and toxic blah blah blah blah you are condoning blah blah blah blah (basically anti posts)" on Tumblr, I said, "Ha ha ha! Bring it on, bitches!"

I have been trained by Caulscott aka my first controversial ship. I have been living fueld by SPITE. I decided to ship Snowbaird that day to spite the haters. Even if I knew it'd be exhausting, I just wanted to spite the haters. That's a funny origin story lol I bought the book after that.

Because I didn't summarise it in the Prev Post, The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes or TBOSAS is the prequel of the trilogy. It's about a teenage boy called Coriolanus Snow who mentors a District 12 tribute in the Hunger Games, Lucy Gray Baird. They save each other, they legitimately end up falling in love with each other, but Coriolanus keeps getting tested by the harsh world to let go of his thirst for power and choose love. Fear defeats him, however, and he hardens himself and gives up on love and humanity. He ends up becoming the future dictator, aka the main enemy of Katniss in the original trilogy.

The funny thing is I relate to the little bitch of Coriolanus Snow's narration SO MUCH. He has this Regina George in his mind he never voices out and, well, I relate to having a little bitch in my mind too, even though not to his extent, I would say. Like at some point in my reading I was like, "Oh, Lord in heaven, if I say that I understand/sympathise with this little bitch, I'll get cancelled, no?"

I hadn't finished the book when I watched it on the theatre and I spent 10 minutes trying not to cry that day, because he could have chosen love. He was sooo close to choosing kindness. And he didn't.

In the Prev Post, I said that I didn't know where to go with this ship. After months, I still don't really know, not gonna lie. This ship is a tragedy because both Coriolanus and Lucy Gray are stubborn ass people who I personally can't see diverging from the path in the book. The story takes that path because Coriolanus and Lucy Gray are the way they are. Don't get me wrong, Lucy Gray did everything right, running from danger. The key here is Coriolanus, and well, he's a stupid ass bitch. More tragedy is I think he just needed a slap to the face and everything wouldn't happen, but alas.

People would say, "Uh, so what, Kris. You have AO3." I know lol I read some fics too, but ironically, considering the next ships, the fics are toxic and I can't see that of them, it actually chokes me. It's 1k fics on AO3 now, but I haven't been around to read more fics. The second reason is because I feel weird with canon divergence, because I really can't see them diverge, but it's a very me problem. I prefer a Modern AU or Our World AU, where I totally can see them not being doomed.

Still love them, of course. The book message further underlined what I learned from Caulscott, about humanity and redemption blah blah blah (sounds cheesy if I write it down lmao) Also, also, the book reminds me of the beauty of literature. I don't read much because my attention span is bad, but I was so happy I found a favourite book.

Snowbaird fandom is not that big now, but it's the first fandom I dare to contribute to the tags and it's such a great experience to interact with a lot of people on your own posts!

[LOTSA SPOILERS FOR BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER BECAUSE I WANNA GUSH]

In Snowbaird Discord circle, one of my mutuals chatted with us about Spuffy (Buffy the Vampire Slayer). I'd known its existence since about a year ago because of fanarts (the Spuffy fanart you shared with me is the one that introduced me to BTVS, Far!) and been intrigued for some reason by it, but was discouraged by the number of episodes. She told us about the WORST scene of them (and of my fandom life) and the MOST BEAUTIFUL scene of them (quite possibly the most significant scene of my fandom life too). That beautiful scene made me "OK, I'LL WATCH IT GADDAMMIT".

After my experience with Nathan and Coriolanus, I was like, "Ha, bring it on. How bad could it be? I've been training all my life for this!!!"

Saying that it was a wild ride is a gross understatement. The show is PACKED with cancellable scenes and stories in today's age I was appalled.

I LOVE IT.

THEY SHOWED THOSE SHIT ON TV. I'M ROLLING. I DIED MULTIPLE TIMES. The showrunners and some of the writers were assholes but they didn't hold back, like at all. And I hate them but I'm grateful for it?

Spuffy is an enemies-to-lovers between Buffy, the vampire slayer and Spike, the evil vampire who has killed two vampire slayers throughout the century and is looking to kill Buffy as his third one. So they are the BIGGEST enemies you can get in the narrative.

It's the first time I think I found a real enemies-to-lovers because they are actually equal opposition (well, tho Spike becomes unequal to Buffy later on because of plot reasons). They spend the season they first meet trying to kill each other (and almost succeeded) and the next seasons as reluctant allies who find each other so annoying. They actually become a great fighting partner because no one else in Buffy's team is able to keep up with her. Until one day Spike realises that he falls for her lol

Okay, lore intermission! In Buffyverse, the moment they get turned, vampires lose their "human soul" (in the story, it functions as conscience/moral compass). A demon soul replaces the void and reanimates the corpse with evil. Basically, vampires are superpowered evil undeads stripped into Freudian's Theory of Human Nature: sex and violence. So vampires can eat and massacre a whole city and they won't feel any remorse. They get off on the violence actually. They are believed to be pure evil and thus the vampire slayer, the defender of goodness and humanity, must exterminate them all. Small fact but it is also believed that soullessness means they can't love.

But, Spike does. It's shown since the start that he can. And Spike. does. love. hard.

He hates it actually, falling for Buffy. He thought it was perverse and wrong (lmao Buffy agrees) but he just can't help it and in the end just accepts that he loves the slayer. The soulless love manifests in selfishness, creepiness, and toxicity. And the way he acts on his love is SO CREEPY I don't blame the homegirl at all for being utterly disgusted lmao I don't blame her too that she doesn’t believe that what he feels is love and she spends a loooong time denying that it’s love. Until…he does the most surprising thing of unselfishly protecting her and her family by sacrificing himself to be tortured. It secretly touches her. He does that a lot actually, defying the lore the universe has established. He destroys the lore Buffy and the others have believed. Vampires can't love, but he acts like he really does. Vampires should be violent, but he can be gentle. Vampires should be selfish, but he can be sacrificial. Vampires are dead, but he's the liveliest of all. Vampires only eat blood, but he also enjoys her mum's hot chocolate and marshmallows. Vampires should be evil, but he will fight on the side of good if it’s for her. And it scares her.

You know what? As much as I wanna continue to gush about the brilliant dichotomy of Spike's character, this won't end if I do so I'll stop here.

There is this whole season when Buffy faces the darkest year of her life and thus her dark side. She practically uses Spike for sex (that is unconsciously BDSM, thus very under-negotiable) to cope with her depression, self-hatred, and total numbness. Buffy, the hero, wouldn't sleep with evil, but she can't stop coming to him.

That season is where they are the worst for each other because she takes out her hurt by abusing him physically and, I'd argue, emotionally, and he accepts it all. He can take it all because, well, vampire. Not unfamiliar with mixing sex and violence, he is. He also won't die from non-stake-and-decapitation injuries anyway. And he has been begging for crumbs for so long. If this is the crumb, so be it. As long as he can have a bit of her, even if it's only her body and not her heart.

He lets her because he loves her, while she lets him because she hates herself. By being with Spike, she's punishing herself. It's a maladaptive coping mechanism. Spike is her addiction. Being with him is how she self-harms. She's so in love with death she uses an undead to feel alive in death and death in life. Spike does genuinely love her, but she doesn't want to believe it. She's ashamed. She denies herself of love because she thinks she doesn't deserve love.

(Well, he's still soulless so he tries to pull her into the darkness and entice her to embrace the darkness, because he thinks that's good for her (and good for him because he lives there, maybe he can have her as a whole that way.)

...I love it so much. Like forget about the wild juicy scenes between them that season. I'm grateful for it because Buffy is this superheroine, the epitome of heroism and altruism, the defender of humanity, the symbol of goodness, but she has deep darkness inside her.

I always relate to messy characters. Not messy as in a bad characterisation, but messy as in very human, flawed, insecure, inconsistent, selfish, prideful, hypocrites, making A TON of mistakes, doing bad things to feel better, etc. It's hard to explain why, but feeling seen is a part of it. I'm used to seeing a character doing bad things, then imagining standing inside their shoes and thinking, "Oh, I'd do that too." or "I understand their mindset" In conclusion, I love imperfectness, because I'm less than perfect. I'm grateful for a dark, slumped, lying at a low point Buffy, that she's messy and imperfect and so very human.

Of course, later in that season, there is that WORST SCENE (attempted rape scene, I'll just say it, everyone hates that scene, it was so irresponsible of the showrunners, there are lots of arguments why it shouldn't happen narratively but I won't get into that). (I don't know who will read this post but this is the biggest reason why I always emphasise please ask me for trigger and content warnings if you are interested in watching BTVS.)

Horrified, he goes somewhere to deal with a demon. He wants his soul back. He almost died for it, but he keeps fighting. For her. So he won't hurt the girl anymore. This is supposed to be impossible. No vampire in history has done it. Losing their human soul is liberating for vampires, actually. No conscience, no cage, no rules, you can do whatever you wanna do. But he gets the soul and becomes the only vampire who voluntarily gets his soul back, defying the lore again.

After that season, he is back as tortured because the soul is torturing and haunting him with every evil shit he has done. Of course, he doesn't expect to be saved or accepted, but Buffy helps him anyway. The last season is them becoming actual friends and partners (her right-hand man) and unflinching support for each other. This season is also where the MOST beautiful scene happens and just like how the depiction of Buffy's dark side touches me, this scene touches me too.

I said before that our dark side is human. But trying hard to live and still being kind is also a part of being human. And a person as a whole, even with their dark side, is still worth being loved. I don't know why this scene clings to my ribs until now. I don't know what part of myself is being comforted by it, because as far as I know, I have a very normal and uneventful life? But whatever, the peaceful feeling I get from it is significant. This scene means SO MUCH to me. I'm so very grateful it exists.

What I have written is only a few parts of why I love it, there are a lot more reasons why I love it (their partnership since the start, the way they can understand each other, the way that they are mirrors of each other, them being half light and dark themselves, etc), but I shouldn't write more xD

After Spuffy, I can't say I ship it, but I'm very fond of it. This is the ship why I made that post about ship pattern lol

It's Weslah (Angel the Series) from BTVS Spin-Off; a canon rareship. Lilah, the lady, has been the main face of this evil company, making her an enemy of Angel, the protagonist, and his team, who are again the defenders of goodness. It was established for three seasons that she is evil. Later it's shown that to survive the world as a woman, she has to wear the "evil" mask and trash her conscience. That's her method choice of survival. Meanwhile, Wesley is this British, pathetic guy in Angel's team who toughens up with the experience of fighting alongside Angel.

In Season 3, Wesley makes a big mistake, intended to protect but resulting in harming Angel's family. Angel tries to kill him and Wesley, even if he knows that he made a mistake, is hurt by it. He feels abandoned by Angel, the person who should have been his trusted friend, not giving him the chance to explain. I think it's very human, by the way, converting mixed feelings into bitterness and resentment, even when it's your mistake.

So in Season 4, Wesley and Lilah end up having a physical relationship. Normally, Wesley the White Hat wouldn't sleep with the enemy, like ever, but I think he wants to fill the emptiness. I'm not too clear on why Lilah consents, but I think she's a "Why Not?" woman. She loves Wesley's newfound darkness outside of her company's interest in him and she wants to corrupt him further.

I was like,

In the span of minutes. It is hot indeed.

Somewhere in their relationship, Lilah ends up really liking Wesley. I'd argue that she does love him, but Wesley loves another woman. In this relationship, we see Lilah's mask slipping a lot but she still wears it well, especially masking her hurt when she sees that Wesley doesn't love her like she does him. Wesley does have great affection for her though, I'd also argue he does love her but holds back. Being careful not to fall because, well, as far as he knows he loves another woman and he shouldn't love someone who doesn't want to be on the side of goodness.

Well, this is a doomed romance because it ends with tragedy.

I'd argue again that if Lilah switched to the good side, and they had enough time, they could have been together. But alas. (I know I could turn to AO3, but not many fics are there so yup. "Make one yourself, Kris!" I can't, okay 💀)

And this is a ship pattern because this is kiiiinda just Spuffy but gender reversal and less extreme (since they are both average humans lol) I see Wesley as reminiscent/a parallel of Spike since they are both pathetic British guys (not only that but deep spoilers if I explain), while Lilah and Buffy are the girlbosses, only the good and evil are reversed. Both Buffy and Wesley are on the line between "good" and "evil" in their relationship with Spike and Lilah, thinking that this relationship is wrong. I was disappointed with my predictableness, but this ship is still so very hot.

Okay, so I know I started this...essay with the preface that I didn't understand non-canon ships, when so far I end up shipping canon anyway, except for Causlcott. Well, I think in the end I found that it's still more natural for me to ship the canon ones. The difference is the popular or not (and the toxic or not xD).

But now I understand the fun of every kind of shipping. Truthfully, there are some ships I just don't understand but I really get the search for fun.

Looking back, I can see that my tastes never really change, it just widens into the more dangerous and controversial territory xD

Btw, my ship patterns have "cringefail" and "[gender]failure" too, but it's all the men. It's all the men. The men are the cringefail and manfailure. Oh my predictableness.

Otherwise known as: “The Long Slow Slide to D and D Running Out of Material from the Books”

4x01: 

1. The visuals of Ice getting melted down are SO PRETTY (while RoC plays on the background 😎 living my best Lannister Life over here.)

2. Jaime getting the sword and trying NOT to be Lord of Casterly Rock and HOLY SHIT TELLING TYWIN NO and getting away with it.

3. Tyrion is trying so hard to greet the Dornish politely... poor guy.

4. It’s pride month so I’m just pointing out that Oberyn is soooo biiiii and This Bi Girl loves him. And him playing with the flame and Ellaria trying to stop him from killing the Lannister who insulted him... I just love their dynamic.

5. Drogon is just a big happy dragon-Cat and in Dany’s first appearance of this season. He PURRS.

6. I love Jaime and Cersei’s scene with Jaime’s new hand. They snipe at each other, but it is SO how they interact.

7. Jon and Sansa reacting to Robb’s death :(

3. Everyone LISTEN TO JON he has seen things none of you have.

4. Tyrion finding out Bronn has been bought is so very upsetting but I love this scene.

5. But really though once Tywin named The Mountain champion, anyone who Tyrion asks to be his champion at this point he’s basically asking to die.

6. Dany’s like “well I guess fucking Daario isn’t going to cause a political disaster at least.”

7. I had forgotten how fascinating Selyse and Melisandre’s interactions are.

6. Jorah telling Dany about the pardon is a scene that breaks my heart. 💔 She is HARSH here but I love the full blown Targaryen on display.

7. Roose being like TELL ME WHAT YOU SEE like the Lion King cracks me up so hard.

8. I will never give Ramsay the Bolton name in anything I write as long as I am a fan of this show out of pure hatred. He is Ramsay Snow forever and always.

Second: Jaime has never thought about ANYTHING in his whole life as deeply as baby Tyrion thought about beetles.

I had so many “best friends” in my life, cause I’m not 12 anymore, lol. One was a childhood friend. One I met at 7th grade, she saved me from having to sit alone in a new class when she asked me if I want to sit with her while I was standing around, unsure of what to do, cause I had no friends. Another I met online, we hated each other from the beginning so much, we would fight all the time in the forum and everyonen would hold their breath xD then we turned into bffs when we found out we had so much in common. classic teenagers, lol. now we don’t talk anymore really. She mainly slept in so late due to her late night missions and one mission in particular always weighed heavy on her mind. All she knew was after a long day at work all she wanted was to come home to the person in her life that meant the most to her. She just prayed that he would never learn the truth about her “side” job.

Red always tended to sleep in, the guy was a night owl for sure, but made the attempt to get up during the day for her. In truth, this was why he sought others. He refused to harm her. He even went so far as to protect her from others like him. He had no such loyalties. There was this feeling that he received when human’s soul, their essence, drained away giving him added life and vitality. It was a wondrously almost addictive thing. He kept her blissfully ignorant of his life after dark. It was one of the reasons why they lived together and yet stayed in separate rooms.

Now, Red was awake and the scent of bacon wafted from the kitchen in the house that they now shared.

Frisk groaned lightly as the scent of succulent juicy bacon found its way into her room. Her inky lashes parted to reveal stunning cobalt blue eyes like sparkling gems. She moved her head to look at the clock only to gasp and scramble out of bed. The hardest part about being some kind of anointed demon hunter was the cleanup. She would come home with wounds that would heal quickly but difficult to explain. Totally forgetting that fact she made her way downstairs and into the kitchen still in her pajamas. How embarrassing. She rubbed her eyes gently before taking a place on one of the bar stools, “Good morning.”

He used his band gigs as a kind of cover as not to raise suspicion not that humans even believed in his kind in the first place. The acceptance of monsters had made it easier for him to blend him being a skeleton and all. He gave her a sharp-toothed grin, “Mornin kitten.” We came close to her, kissing her deeply. Her scent intoxicated him so very much. It was from this love that kept her from feeling his teeth in her soul. The only time she ever felt his sharp teeth was when he loved to nibble at her neck, “I admit.. I don’t want to go ta my gig tonight and spend all ma time with ya instead sweetheart.” He had a smirk on his face the usual fair, “And uh somethin else~”

It was a good thing that she was not eating or drinking anything because she would have either choked or spit it out. She recollected her rather scattered thoughts to clear her throat. Her cheeks were a pale pink, “Kinky but not unwanted. I’m sorry I was out kind of late last night so I got up too late.” She did not know why she had to apologize for her own schedule but she had not seen him much lately. She was not one to back down from a challenge even if he was not joking but no one in this world could cause her to melt like Red could. It was simply unnatural and unfair. She smirked lightly, “Humm did I say I was out late at the hospital? Nah, I was at a strip club because my boyfriend is just so rough with me” She knew he was playing around.

He chuckled, “Eat yer breakfast. Then after….” He did not even have to finish his sentence. He had no shame with that baritone voice and people wondered why his singing was always so entrancing. He leaned in close behind her whispering something in her ear laughing when her reaction caused her to nearly fall off the stool she was sitting on.

Frisk was wrong dead wrong. She should have known better but damn who could say no to- Her thoughts were cut off for a moment by the growl that just randomly came from her stomach “Uhh… I guess I am more hungry than I thought. ” There was something about the way he spoke that just put her into almost a trance. It was hard to stay focused. How the hell did she snag him in the first place?

He could say the same. What about her called to him that made him want to keep her and not just play with her and kill her? It was something he spent hours thinking upon and never held an answer for. He moved away from her, putting a plate of bacon and eggs with toast on the table, “Eat up kitten.”

Frisk had spotted a look in his eyes that told her he was deep in thought. She was not going to question it and instead turned her attention on her lovingly prepared breakfast. Her hand reached for the fork only to place some eggs on the toast munching quietly. “You know you don’t have to make breakfast for me. I feel bad enough already sleeping in so late.”

He stood behind the island and rested his elbow on the countertop before speaking softly, “Well I wanted to.” He took a plate for himself mimicking her action of placing the eggs upon the buttered piece of toast in his hand, “I figured you’d be hungry in any case.” He did not exactly have to eat the way monsters or humans had to but he could still enjoy a meal. It was not like he could not taste just that his body did not need food to survive.

Frisk flushed slightly he was always so thoughtful of her even when she felt as though she was not of him. She had been so exhausted lately that normally she would just come home and crash as soon as she was in the vicinity of a nearby couch or bed. She just prayed that she never ever brought her work home with her. She did not know what she would do without him. After a while, she just smiled and shook her head, “How on earth did I manage to be with a guy like you? You’re too good to me.”

There was a hint of a chuckle in his voice, “Guess ya got lucky huh? I’ve got another gig tonight so I’ll be out late, rougher part of town but it’s payin me well. The sooner ya eat as well the sooner I can relax those tired muscles of yours.” He emphasized the last part with a wink. His fingers were like magic when it came to giving massages, among other things.

Frisk stared at her empty plate for only a moment, “I sure as hell hope luck had nothing to do with it.” She shook her head before nodding and pushing her plate away, “Alright. I think I might take the day off. I have not been feeling so well lately”. His wink only caused the flush on her cheeks to spread further.

That just fueled the fire more, “Ooh I gets ya all to m'self, do I? Well then.” He rose to his feet and pulled her up to him, “Let’s make up for missed nights shall we?” He claimed her lips in a deep kiss holding her tightly to him. He loved all of her, to be sure, every part of her from her feistiness to her loving loyalty to him. They were traits that only she possessed and it made him lover hare all the more.

Stars Frisk was unable to resist that freaking smirk and let’s face it his hands all over her. Her cheeks only darkened in color as she was not prepared for the sudden kiss. He was tall but not too much taller than her so she usually had to look up at him. She was about to answer his question before she was caught off guard by the deep kiss. It caused her head to spin a little bit. He was like a drug that she just could not get enough of, “o…only until you leave for your gig.” She replied rather breathlessly in an attempt to calm her already racing heart.

He said as he pulled back, “Then we got plenty of time, darlin~”  He beckoned her toward the open door of her bedroom, “Com’ere and lay down kitten and let’s get ya nice and relaxed shall we?” He certainly had ulterior motives if his tone held any indication. This was typical for him especially when it came to something he wanted. He was not used to be turned down.

Frisk had to clear her thoughts before following him into her own bedroom. She knew by his tone of voice that he wanted something from her but she also could not pass up the opportunity for a massage. She needed one desperately. Just the other day a demon nearly attempted to slice her arm off. It failed but the thought was a none too pleasant one. She laid down on the bed and sighed in content. It just felt good to relax for a change, “Darling? That’s a new one…” He had given her a long list of pet names but dear was never one of them.

He raised a brow bone, “Ahh… I heard some gossip that human women loved that kinda stuff. When they get called dear. That wrong?” It hard to believe he was actually a true monster when he was always so suave and composed but times like this, well it just seemed cute how hard he was actually trying. He came to straddle her legs then, as those magical hands of his laid upon her, a soft red magic would give her a tingly sort of sensation as he began to rub her back.

Frisk only chuckled at the question, “Well I suppose so but it just sounds strange hearing you say it.” She completely melted against his hands like butter. Stars he could get her to do just about anything he asked. She closed her eyes relaxing. When she felt him getting a little handsy she just couldn’t contain the sass. “Shameless huh?”

Red chuckled as he continued, “Do ya really expect anythin less from me?” He chuckled, leaning over her to nip at her neck, trailing that faintly glowing tongue right over her soft flesh. Yep, 1000 percent shameless.

Frisk shook her head as much as she could in this position, “Pfft not really. Humm? Needy much?” She had that typical seductive yet snarky tone to her voice. It usually meant she was flustered to the point that she had to cope somehow. She couldn’t suppress the pleasurable shudder though. There goes her ability to think again.

He continued to massage her back, even as he licked and nibbled at her neck. He would lean over to whisper into her ear. “Don’t hear ya complainin~” His tone was seductive and yet loving. He would never do anything against her will, never. He knew that her job had been wrecking her with its long sporadic hours and overnights. It was a wonder she was able to have energy at all. He just enjoyed teasing her as much as he could.

Frisk took a deep breath. All she could do was facepalm in response cheeks burning, “Do you want me to?” She asked quizzically. Typical of Red. He was flowery in tone until he couldn’t control himself anymore. She was so worn out she feared with the relaxing massage she was being given that she just might fall asleep in the process, “Can we just stay like this?” She was being worked into the ground regardless if a job at the hospital was not the cause.

She just wanted a relaxing massage. She was getting waaaay more than she bargained for as always. I guess that’s what she gets for being out late so long and crashing nearly every night for 2 months straight. He was whispering sweet nothings into her ear nibbling at it again with those sharp teeth. She wanted to roll her eyes at the wording but they were still closed, “Stars that feels good.” She opened them turning her head to try and see him. She felt so much better after this even though she knew he wanted something more. She could only chuckle at his nibbling antics, “H….hey hey that tickles.”

He smiled down at her, “Well… You are certainly easy to please.” He replied with a  soft chuckle, kissing her lips, “I need to get going my little kitten but know that you are the only woman that’ll ever look at.” He kissed her again softly as he felt that hunger begin to creep up on him once more. He needed to feed and he was not going to do it on her. He could kill her even if he was able to control himself.

Frisk gave him a deadpan glare accompanied by a defensive flush, “I…I am not!” The look disappeared immediately when he kissed her. He had to leave so soon? She could not exactly argue with him about it since she had to leave so often. She was about to object before she received another kiss, “I will never doubt you. I will be here when you return.”

He smiled softly running skeletal fingers through her hair, “I will see you soon sweetheart.” He grabbed his guitar from the stand in the corner of his own room and left for his so-called ‘Gig’.

Frisk just lay there for a moment before deciding to take a long shower. It was her day off but her job never really rested. As long as demons and other things preyed on humans her job would never be done. She always played so innocent and sweet but the truth was that she was much stronger than she appeared. She was half angel after all. A blessing to most but a curse to her. She let the hot water wash over her. This house was the only place she could be herself. Naturally, she would have to disguise herself when she did her work making it impossible for them to find her. She leaned her head against the tile wall before staring off into space in thought. She removed herself from the warm water and dried herself off. She put on some comfy clothing in order to relax and took a spot on the couch. She was so tired. It was unnatural. A tired that exceeded what it should have. She didn’t care she was able to spend the morning with the one she loved and that put a smile on her face as she closed her eyes to try and slip into dreamland.

The starving demon snapped his fingers changing into a form that would be unrecognizable to others of his kind as well as the angelic hunters that roamed the streets. No one would be able to recognize him as he lured unsuspecting humans and monsters alike to feed on their life energy draining the soul to the point of collapse. He finds another target grabbing a hold of the poor human and forcefully grabs their neck forcing it to the side.

Frisk had been asleep for a little while before a ring when off on her phone. The sound caused her to jolt awake and roll off the couch only to rub her side, “Owww.” She stared at the screen and began to chew her lower lip. The one day she might have gotten some rest. Of course, that was too good to be true as she stood up quickly. She nearly ran out the door before realizing she was without her illusion. She closed her eyes letting the magic work over her letting her human form change to what she actually should have looked like. No humans could see her as she ran her way through the streets searching. A few rooftops later and she gritted her teeth in frustration.

There was her nemesis to be sure the dark demonic vampire only known as Crimson, embracing a human as he fed on her neck. The human did not even resist. Frisk finally spotted who she was looking for or rather what she was looking for. She dropped down right in front of the two. Her now amber eyes were cold and her tone demanding, “Let the girl go!” She had been hunting the bastard for years and he always somehow managed to slip out of her grasp. It set her very much on edge. The council, or rather the group of angel blooded humans that she reported to, had alerted her that he was probably one of the most dangerous out of them all. As a younger girl, she had gone off on her own thinking she could take him on by herself with disastrous consequences. He nearly killed her save for the others that came to save her. Her hand was balled into a fist as she remembered his teeth in her nearly inches from death. All the warriors had a codename of sorts she happened to be integrity.

Red looked up as he heard her, letting the dead woman fall to the ground. His mouth stained with her blood. He chuckled when his red eyes fell on her, “Well if it isn’t the cute little rookie again! Out and about without your babysitters, I see. That’s sweet. Run along home little rookie, or do you actually have a deathwish?” He half spat yet he seemed so amused with her to Red she was nothing special as those hypnotic eyes stared right up at her.

Frisk would have bit through her jaw if she ground her teeth anymore but she had to speak. She had been too late. There was another person dead because of her. If she had been just a little bit sooner. It had always tortured her the nature of her job. She had to save others but it she failed, “I am not a rookie you bastard! That was a long time ago and I am never letting it happen again!” It was true it had been years since that time and she had pushed herself to be one of the best. He always mocked her and her anger only grew.

His laughter echoed off the alleyway as he jumped up, scaling the wall to stand on the roof opposite her, "Very well then little rookie. We’ll dance if you so wish to die, but don’t say I wasn’t sporting enough to give you an out.” He then jumped towards her, using his speed as an advantage like his brother had taught him oh so long ago. He had learned over the centuries that angels could be dangerous, even the foolish ones.

His laughter only seemed to enrage her even more. It was unbecoming of someone with her lineage but there was no helping such feelings. One day she was going to wipe that smirk off his smug fanged face. She immediately dodged his incoming jump by jumping to the side materializing a set of golden and white pistols, “Don’t underestimate me!”

He continued to taunt her as a sword formed of red magic. It was his standard fare, as his eyes blazed with red, “I am going to enjoy draining the life from your eyes!” He hissed as he lunged forward, wanting to knock her down, to pin her and to hurt her. All without knowing just who she was to him.

She only smirked as she dodged his attacks with a look of boredom on her face. "A sword… really? How predictable… it’s the modern age grandpa why don’t you upgrade a little bit and give me a challenge?” She pointed her right pistol at him and fired.

His laughter echoed behind her as she fired dodging the attack effortlessly smirk ever growing before he toyed with her, “Hmm not bad..” He teased her sides with his fingers. He said as he moved to grab her, to bring his sword to her neck, “That fire is rather lovely my sweet angel. Maybe I just might keep you~”

Frisk jumped in surprise. It wasn’t an attack but an extreme violation of her personal space that only made her even angrier. Now she just wanted to shoot him in the face. She elbowed him directly in the face her eyebrows furrowed and twitching, "I am spoken for thank you very much! You are not in the least bit enticing so hands… OFF!” She whipped around and pointed both of the pistols at his face firing consecutively.

One hit him right in the arm as he managed to dodge, which caused him to hiss, “Well I suppose I deserved that one..” He laughed it off, however, as he kept coming at her,  aiming attacks that fired at her, with a summoned hand sending tendrils of light blue magic to try and wrap her tight,

“Besides.. you? Spoken for? Ha! Come now,  everyone knows that you angel kin are just lovely little~” He was cut off before he could say the word.

Frisk cracked a small smile when she was able to hit him. Not in his face directly but she would take it. She never actually had seen the demon under the hood, no one had. She slid to the side only to realize he was trying to grab her. Just as the magic was about to close in on her she took to the sky. She rarely used her wings but they were useful in times like this, “Nice try… w…what?! Yes, I am spoken for! Why is that so hard to believe?“ She floated in mid-air ready to go on the defensive or offensive if the opportunity presented itself.

He flippantly replied, "Frankly yes. I do find it surprising. You are entirely plain only worth for a quick meal and a little fun.” HEe chased after her shooting attack after attack not letting the angelic hunter rest, “Besides…I didn’t gain the reputation of Angel killer, just by killing angels little rookie. Didn’t your superiors tell you about just how bad it is being a female angel around me?” He smirked, letting it sink in. He played with female angels in more ways than one and then killed them after.

Frisk’s eye twitched. Even if she could hold her own the mental battle was one she was not winning. Her evasion in the sky had increased but the onslaught was causing her strength to drain. She was tired earlier for some reason she was unable to place and this was not helping. He caught her off guard when she heard what he was saying. She suddenly felt sick to her stomach causing her to lose focus enough for one of the attacks to clip one of her pretty gold and white wings, slowly the wound began to dye the feathers a crimson. The pain was harsh but she grit her teeth and bore it. Her superiors had told her nothing. They said his name was due to his danger class, crimson being the highest of them all. They never mentioned- “My superiors told me… nothing.” Why would they not tell her this information?

He laughed as he shot out red strings of magic to bind her tight, “Well why would they tell a rookie who shouldn’t even be out on her own yet? Or maybe…” He chuckled as he reeled her in, “… they believed your plainness to be a deterrent since beauty is my forte.” They were harsh words, but Red fought dirty.

Frisk didn’t catch the attack as the magic wrapped around her trying to reel her in like a fish caught on a line. She struggled but like before her energy was being sapped. If he caught her then…She did not even want to imagine it, “Y…you don’t know what I look like!” Why was she getting so defensive? Somewhere in the back of her mind, she thought back to Red. If what Crimson was saying was true then would he get bored of her? WHY WAS SHE THINKING ABOUT THAT IN SUCH A CRITICAL SITUATION?! Nonetheless, a tightness began to form in her throat. She had slipped very crucial information, that this was not what she looked like. She continued to struggle as much as she could. She could not raise her arms but she could raise her wrists as she fired as many shots as she could with her arms bound at her sides, “l….like hell I care about your opinion! L….let me….let me go!”

He laughed evilly as he dragged her close to him using those strings, “Well my little angel. I’ll give you at least some bit of pleasure before I send you back to the heavenly hole you came from!” His eyes burned as he thought of ridding the world of yet another angel.

She audibly gulped. It was true she was young but she wasn’t a rookie. What was wrong with her!? Her disguise was starting to falter as the wings behind her seemed to crack and shatter. Why was her body not responding like it should! It was maddening. Why was nobody coming to her aid? What was going on?! She dropped the pistols to the ground unable to hold them any longer. The grip on her would have suffocated a normal human, “W….why…why can’t I ever.. beat you?” Her pride was wounded. No matter what she did just couldn’t do it.

He frowned as he brought her close to him, “Because I am more than you angels will ever understand.” What he would never say was how her scent drove him wild. He wanted her badly. As much as he wanted his own… wait a second… her wings.. they faltered! Red was not an idiot. He grabbed her hair roughly, holding her back to his chest as he bent to sink his teeth into her. He had to taste her. He wanted it more than he could ever understand. It was driving him mad.

Frisk gasped for a moment when he tangled his hands in her hair and pulled her back roughly. The wind was nearly knocked out of her. No one was coming to her aid. Had they intentionally sent her to her death? They hated that she was in a relationship with a monster no less. It was like an unspoken sin to them. Her decisions had made her an outcast within their ranks as powerful as she was. She could best any demon, any vampires, any creature that crossed her path but when it came to Crimson there was no doubt she had been unable to live up to her potential. Either he truly was that strong or something happened where she had become weak. It made no sense to her. All that she did now was fight the tears threatening her eyes at the thought of never returning home. He would never know. She had never told the truth. She should have but she was afraid. She was always so afraid. Her eyes screwed shut at the feeling of teeth at her neck. She expected it to be an excruciating pain but it was the opposite. She wouldn’t do it. She wouldn’t whimper and give that devil the satisfaction. All she knew was that her angelic form was fading away little by little. It started with her clothing returning it to its original state. A black fluffy sweater, black pants, and brown boots. Her final attempt was to pull his arm away from her and rip herself out of his grip even if it would tear her neck open. She would die on her own terms.

He gripped her tightly forcing her neck to the side after he had taken a few deep sips from her only to shove her away and growl, “Damn it! Fuck no..” Red growled again as he moved back from her, looking at her now as if she had grown a second head. .That was when he fled.

He had her right where he wanted her WTF?! Frisk fell to the ground hitting it rather hard and whimpered. She was still bleeding and her illusion was completely gone now. Her face was turned down as she panted. What on earth? She looked up to see him running away? What the hell!? She managed to sit up and cover her hand over the wound. How was she going to explain this? The wound hurt and stung but it was nothing she couldn’t handle. She stood shakily to her feet blue eyes scanning the area, “Don’t you run away from me you asshole!” She whimpered at the pain before sighing in exhaustion. Her hand slipped into her pocket to see the time and panicked if she was not home before Red!!? She made her way back as quickly as she could, bursting through the door to find her secret stash of healing items that would fix her wound. She was starting to feel light headed. It just kept bleeding and her face was starting to pale. “Come on …come on.”

What she heard then was the sounds of anguish from Red’s room. He was yelling at someone? “What’s more, it’s her! That fucking rookie, it just HAD to be her didn’t it?! and I damn near killed her! Son of a bitch. Why did I have to fall for a fucking angel of all creatures?!”

At least you know now Sans but we did tell ya this could happen. No one could find a damn thing on her background, not even your spy network could figure out anything. That shoulda been tip number one Crimson. It wasn’t a girl’s voice, but it wasn’t masculine either.

Frisk grabbed a hold of the bottle she was looking for and downed its contents as the wound disappeared completely. She lay on her back letting the bottle roll out of her grip until she heard someone. She lifted herself up and peeked her head around the corner only to hear it coming from Red’s room. She leaned her ear against the door and listened in only to feel her chest tighten. Everything fell away into a black abyss as she leaned against his door. Her blue eyes were wide and filled with a combination of horror and disbelief. The words went in one ear and out the other 'rookie’, 'angel’, the nickname Crimson’. She couldn’t breathe all she could do was stay there frozen until the door gave way and caused her to end up face first in his room.

He turned as a tall skeleton looked at her then at him with a look of disbelief. Well, that speaks to the healing power angels have. You really need to kill her Red.” Red looked at her, “I can’t Saros. I really can’t.” He used his red magic to bring her closer to him, “Suppose this is what they mean by sleepin with tha enemy. I Wonder what yer angels would think of you now. I have drunk of yer blood and even taken all that ya were. So now little angel…Frisk. What are we goin ta do? Know you ain’t stupid, ya have much too bright a mind for that.”

Frisk could feel her entire world spiraling downward. What would they think of her? Did they know? Is that why they continued to send her out after him hoping they would eventually kill each other? Frisk had a hard time looking at him for a moment. All she could do was look off to the side fighting back her urge to cry. Her voice wavered, “D…do you want to kill me? It would be easier for you right? Not having… to deal with me an…anymore?”

He shrugged, “If I’m honest, yeah. It would be easier but I meant what I say nearly every mornin kitten. You have managed to ensnare my heart when no others could. That would explain why it physically hurt me to drain you of ya soul’s life. So ya tell me, dear little angel. What does ya soul feel when I’m near? Before you knew I was Crimson? or when I was Red to ya.. What did your soul feel?”

Frisk heard the words 'honest, yeah’ and her heart nearly broke. She had closed her eyes in defeat in that split second before opening them again. She shouldn’t be afraid of the one she loved right? In essence, even though she did not know who he was he still loved her and she felt the same. The question caused her cheeks to flush a soft pink. She couldn’t look at him, not yet. She let a soft yet painful sigh escape her, “Like I would die if I could never see you again. In fact, I think it begins to. Every time you leave I become physically weaker it would explain why I can’t fight you at my top ability. Something inside me prevented me from doing so. N…Now I know why. I think about you all the time when I am out there. I thought about you at the time even though I didn’t know… How I wouldn’t be able to come home and…” Her voice choked up.

Red let her go then, letting her sit on the bed, “It did always make me curious.. hmm..” He attempted to bring her soul out for him to look at, “I wondered why ma soul had started ta crack recently. I assumed it had been from lack of sustenance.” A muted white soul combined in a glow with her bright blue when he drew it forth. It was Red’s own soul with a muted white base, tinted with blue and red, “Shortly after we met tha first time, these bright blue swirls started appearin in my soul. Care ta take a guess where they came from?”

Frisk fell gently to sit on the bed. It was a weird feeling to have your soul extracted from your chest. It was a bright blue just like her eyes and glowed turning everything around them blue. She had never felt something so strange. So this was her? The very culmination of her being? She stared at the souls in front of her unable to fully comprehend what she was looking at. The very sight of a soul was foreign to her as her cheeks flushed. “M….me?”

He nodded gently, “There’s tha mind I enjoy so much. Yeah, these blue lines are in fact, from you.” His tone was soft and informative just looking at her not caring the information from before, “It’s not cracking it, but rather healing tha cracks and my soul pulses as it wants to join with yours.”

Frisk’s cheeks darkened exponentially at what he was saying. Her hands came to rest in her lap. She was healing the cracks in his soul? How could that be? “W..what are you saying?”

He sighed softly only giving her a lopsided toothy grin, “Our souls want ta bond Frisk, pay attention. Did ya not read the books I gave ya? I’ve been hintin for a week now.”

Frisk just blinked before scratching the back of her head sheepishly, “I…I’ve been so busy I have not had the chance to. I…I’m sorry though technically you have been keeping me busy so…” She closed her eyes with a nervous laugh before returning to normal, “W…why me? If… if you know the truth then why would you still want to be with me?”

He had never felt this way about anyone in his entire existence. She was healing the cracks that made him what he was and that was unheard of. He couldn’t stop thinking about her or wanting to be around her. Even his more physical desires were calmed by her. She made him better than what he ever thought he could be, “Tha soul wants what it wants Frisk every monster is bound to it If my soul wants ya, I can’t fight that without havin a metaphorical hole within it for all time.”

Frisk’s heart skipped a small beat at the implication of it. In front of her the heart that made her who she was quivering by the strongly held emotion. She had her hand held against her chest. Her heart was beating a little too quickly for her liking. She lowered her head slightly, “You asked me once before how I would feel…w…without you. I don’t think I could bear it. It would tear me apart. E…Even knowing… what I know… I…” She tried to get the words out.

Red looked at her, “Same here sweetheart. My soul doesn’t want ta live apart from ya.” He put a finger to her lips, “But herein lies tha problem my angel. What we are will try ta tear us apart. My end will urge me to just chain you up like a toy…absolutely barbaric honestly and I doubt yer kind will be as forgivin knowin that I’ve been a demon this entire time.”

Frisk took a slow and steady breath as if the air in her lungs burned with every breath. Every fiber of her being was screaming at her. The soul was something even she couldn’t resist. She would rather rip it out of her chest then be apart from him. Normally she would have made a snarky remark about how she was into it or it was a kinky notion in general but the light-hearted words were stuck in her throat. She finally looked up at him cobalt eyes filling with unshed tears. She was on the brink and all she could see was her lack of options. When he mentioned her kind she scoffed, “Angel…don’t call me that I know you mean it endearingly but it leaves a sour taste in my mouth. My kind…my kind has no love for me. They sent me to you time after time with limited information so you would do their dirty work. I…don’t care about them or what they think.” Her voice wavered for a moment, “The only person that’s ever loved me….is you.”

Red smirked, “Well ya ARE mine and ya are an angel” He chuckled and pulled her onto his lap, “One solution ta this little problem is ta just stop fighting and remain with me.”

Frisk was ready to protest to anything he had to say next thinking it would be something along the lines of star-crossed lovers never meant to be yadda yadda. Just as she parted her lips, “I can’t live witho- wait what?” She felt that heat rising in her cheeks as he pulled her onto his lap. Stars he had her wrapped around his little finger. That’s right she was his and she wouldn’t have it any other way now that the drama had ceased she could be a little snarky again, "Goodness me of all people? I distinctly remember someone saying I was only good for ah…how did you so eloquently put it? Oh right… a little fun and a quick meal?” She had a small smirk playing on her lips now she could use all those things over the years as payback. They didn’t hold any value anymore to her only ammo.

He chuckled, trailing that tongue over her neck and back into his mouth. “Ta be fair kitten. Ya didn’t even know who I was until this moment, and I didn’t know who ya were till I nearly killed ya.” He touched the side of her neck where he had almost drained the life from her soul, frowning, “I feed on others so I’m not tempted ta feed on you.”

Her body shivered at the feel of his tongue on her neck. Damn, why did her body always betray her? The smirk she had curled on her pale pink lips faded at the look on his face, "Sure you could say that but… Well, I think my soul knew deep down. It wouldn’t let me fight you which is why you always bested me. H…hey I’m still here and you didn’t know. I…I was going to tell you the truth before you left this morning but I was afraid you would think I was crazy. Talk about taking your work home with you.” Instead of a lewd remark or a snappy comeback, all she did was smile gently, “You’re not going to get rid of me that easily.” The comment hit her hard as a look of surprise passed over her face followed by concern, “d..do you want me that much? I…I don’t want to hurt you like that.” She was the reason others had died? No, she couldn’t think like that.

His eye sockets furrowed giving him a look of concern, “Of course I do. Why else would I have stayed with ya? Ya know my MO Frisk. I find a victim, sometimes play with em, then kill em and move on. Never once had ma soul reacted like it does for you… Never once.” His voice was soft as he kissed her deeply before he whispered against her lips., “You are the only one that makes it sing.”

She just smiled gently relaxing against him. She knew this was not going to be easy. His side would come after her and her side would come after them both. That did not stop them from being together. A painful revelation that somehow changed into the happiest moment of her life. She did not care about Crimson the demon but rather Red and skeleton. He felt the same way about her. Even if they are truly the epitome of star-crossed lovers.

Random Fandom Questions Oh My

A - Ships that you currently like a lot. (They don’t have to be OTPs because not everyone has OTPs.) Friendships, pairings, threesomes, etc. are allowed.

Currently the other ships I like right now are Human Bill Cipher and Dipper (a big guilty pleasure). If there are any Billdip shippers reading this may I humbly recommend Defining Bill Cipher, cause it’s 100% fantastic with plot, characterization, and some uh, heated moments if ya get what I mean. 

I always enjoy Frisk x Sans from Undertale, though I’ve been lagging behind on fanfics. I also like Sans and Toriel (which honestly, I like Frisk and Sans better for fanfics, but I’d want Sans and Toriel to be canon), and Frisk and Asriel are super cute too.

I’ve started reading Owari no Seraph (like, I think I’m only like ch 5), and I already knew about Mika x Yuu long before I ever started reading so I’m absolutely shipping them right now A++

I also ship Gon and Killua from Hunter x Hunter, though I don’t read a lot of fanfics for them. I just kinda annoy my friend with it when we watch the show XD

Ciel and Sebastian from Black Butler. And it’s weird cause like, they are absolutely ripe for shipping and there are plenty of other ships in like, nearly the same position I like but just. He doesn’t love-love Ciel man. He don’t even friendship-love him. Sebastian wants to eat his soul like literally and that’s it he’s just food. For whatever reason I just can’t get into that pairing. Please just let Ciel be with Elizabeth she’s such a cutie and let them be happy forever on okay good okay

D - A pairing you wish you liked but just can’t.

Ichigo and Masaya from Tokyo Mew Mew. I am 100% a Kisshu x Ichigo shipper and I know Ichigo x Masaya is like, oddly, one of the healthiest relationships you could have in an anime and Masaya would be a boy I’d fall head-over-heels for myself if he was real like honestly everything about him is basically perfect but I just. He’s so boring. He’s a really boring character to watch. And he gets more interesting near the end of the show, but it was just kinda too little too late, yanno? If they’d put more hints at the darker side of his wonderful personality then I’d probably would have shipped them, but I saw Kishigo first and that’s who I glommed onto srry

E - Have you added anything cracky/hilarious to your fandom? If so, what?

 I don’t contribute anything to society let alone a fandom XD

  F - What’s the longest you’ve ever been in a fandom?

 I mean, that’s under the idea I’m actually in a fandom? Do I have to do something to be in a fandom? Can I just enjoy content? Does that count? If it do then I’ve been in the Tokyo Mew Mew fandom for like, 10 years or more. It’s like 99% dead so it’s not like I’ve searched up anything recently, but believe me if it ever gets a good remake I will be there 100%

G - Have you ever had an OTP? If so, do you remember your first one? Who was in it?

 My first OTP back before I ever knew what an OTP was was Kisshu and Ichigo from Tokyo Mew Mew. And that fandom is super dead and I’ll probably never read a new good fanfic ever again but I’ll probably never let them go. I still consider them my OTP, and I’ve never found anyone that tops it XD They’re also completely toxic but just. Ah. I love them so much I just want them in a cute relationship plz

H - What is your favorite source text for fandom stuff (e.g., TV shows, movies, books, anime, Western animation, etc.)?

 Ennething. I guess anime is the easiest one to find though. I think I like Western animation better than anime, if only for comedy that hits home a little bit more, since I grew up in that culture and whatnot

I - Has Tumblr caused you to stop liking any fandoms, if so, which and why?

 Nah. I avoid the Discourse by never joining the conversation e v e r. And most of the time I don’t really follow fandom blogs specifically, just blogs that happen to post some fandom stuff, so I probably don’t see any sort of annoying people or awful environments or anything. I don’t understand how people can get so annoyed I feel like discourse is just so easy to avoid/ignore??? But maybe that’s just me

J - Name a fandom you didn’t think about until you saw it all over Tumblr. (You don’t have to care about it or follow it; it just has to be something that Tumblr made you aware of.)

 Voltron. I didn’t even know it existed until some of the funny blogs I follow started posting stuff about it. I don’t even know what Voltron’s about, other than the name sounded really familiar, like it’s an old anime being remade or something.

K - What character has your favorite development arc/the best development arc?

 Peridot from Steven Universe. No wait, Rinna from Forest Born. Forest Born is one of my favorite books (from the Books of Bayern series by Shannon Hale, I highly recommend them). When I was younger I related to Rinna a lot (and I’m like, nothing like her now but that’s beside the point), and I loved her development her slow development towards not hating herself so much. It’s wonderful and steady and feels real

L - Say something genuinely nice about a character who isn’t one of your faves. (Characters you’re neutral about are fair game, as are characters you merely dislike. Characters that you absolutely loathe with the fire of ten thousand suns are exempt, as there is no point in giving yourself an aneurysm over a character that you hate.)

 Jackie from Star vs. is a really nice girl A+ girlfriend material and if I didn’t ship Marco and Star she’d be next up for the Marco ship train. I absolutely don’t hate her and she’s a fun and nice character, but sorry you can’t be Marco’s girlfriend the bloodmoon and also me said so

M - Name a character that you’d like to have for a friend.

 Isi from the Goose Girl. She already reminds me a lot of my friend, so maybe I’m a little biased, but she seems like an absolutely wonderful person to be friends with and I’d 100% love that. I’d also like Dasha from River Secrets and Enna from Enna Burning. Just. Any of the main girls from the Books of Bayern. I love them all

N - Name three things you wish you saw more or in your main fandom (or a fandom of choice).

 Since I don’t have a main fandom, I’ll just choose one:

 From Steven Universe I want more funny comics, dumb memes, and Stevonnie anything. And that’s considering there’s already a shitton of all of that. There’s never enough

 He’s Hurting Me by Maria Mena. And Kisshu x Ichigo, mostly because I’ve seen an AMV with them and that song XD

 Eh, considering I’m never an active part of any fandom, I can’t say I’ve abandoned anything. I’ll even go back to really old fandoms and try to find something I haven’t read before

R - Which friendship/platonic relationship is your favorite in fandom?

 Do Steven and Connie and Star and Marco count even though I ship them? Because I value their friendship just as much if not more than their shipping capabilities. If not then, Sailor Moon and the other sailor scouts from Sailor Moon (from the original anime). I just really like that they joke and roast and support each other. A lot of the episodes focus a lot on their random interactions and it’s a joy to watch.

S - Show us an example of your personal headcanon (prompts optional but encouraged)

 I have none honestly XD I’m not usually a person that gets into headcanons much. I ship plenty of people that aren’t together but I wouldn’t really call them headcanons, I dunno. Gon and Killua end up married. There, there’s your headcanon.

T - Do you have any hard and fast headcanons that you will die defending?

 Kisshu returns to Earth for Whatever reason (any reason that means more battles and adventures is good), Ichigo ends up falling in love with him, Pudding and Tart end up together, Lettuce and Pie are together, Masaya is just fine and not dead, and everyone’s happy the end

 That’s the best I got XD

U - Three favorite characters from three different fandoms, and why they’re your favorites.

 Kisshu from Tokyo Mew Mew: Other than the fact he’s from my long-standing OTP, he’s just really fun to watch. He’s probably the reason I have an immediate attachment to character that are slightly crazy and shit tons of dangerous. He’s cheeky and flirty and gawd I luv it A+

 Peridot and Lapis from Steven Universe. I couldn’t choose really. Peridot is such a trash gremlin and Lapis is amazing when it’s not complete angst she is just Ultimate Emo Child.

 Willis from Awful Hospital (I highly recommend this comic by the way. It’s weird and wonderful). So far he’s just the cutest little thing and I love watching him it’s great

  V - Which character do you relate to most?

 I used to relate to Rinna from Forest Born a whole bunch, especially when I was younger. Nowadays I relate much more to her older brother Razo from River Secrets. He’s self-concious, but always cracking jokes and always in the mood for eating. I think he’s hilarious and honestly I hope I can be as funny as him. He’s got a lot of talents he just never notices. I hope that gets to be me, too.

W - A trope which you are virtually certain to hate in any fandom.

 Characters with no personality. And I think this is mostly just in the otome and harem anime’s that this kind of thing is rampant, cause you gotta make a character that people can slip into but just. My god. I tried playing an otome once and I couldn’t even finish it it was so awful and infuriating. Watching Diabolik Lovers was so painful this girl just L E T everything happen she didn’t even try putting up a fight even when some dude GAVE HER A KNIFE TO STAB HER VAMPIRE WHATEVERS WITH. MY GOD. I hated everything I wanted to cry. And don’t even get me started on the manga Black Bird I hate it so much they just rinse repeat everything. ‘No love interest don’t do sexy things at me I don’t want it’ ‘I’m doing it as punishment for you doing/not doing Whatever’ ‘Noooo’ and then proceeds to just continue to love the assbag. Just stop oh my goooood

 Enemies to Lovers. Or enemies being in love in general. Or forbidden romances of any kind. Basically I want a shit ton of angst and a happy ending.

Y - What are your secondhand fandoms (i.e., fandoms you aren’t in personally but are tangentially familiar with because your friends/people on your dash are in them)?

 I know a little bit about Homestuck, which I tried to read once and got bored. I keep wanting to pick it back up but just… aaaah the beginning is so boring I can hardly tell what’s going on. And I hate the 1 panel thing. I’m sure it was good while it was being posted, but it just takes so long to load the next page. I need a multi-page version please.

 I also know a tad bit about Madoka Magic, which I’m not entirely sure how. I just kinda. Read stuff I came across, despite never being interested in the show myself.

 The Amazing World of Gumball is hilarious and I want more people to watch it

 I tried watching Bob’s Burger’s for just like, a funny show without a plot and I got bored eventually. Thankfully Gumball saved the day

 I think Ni no Kuni is an adorable game and I love their little definitely-not-Pokémon monsters and I’ll probably rant about who’s on my team one day

  I ship Link and Midna 100% but like, only the TP incarnation of Link. Skyward Sword and Breath of the Wild and Spirit Tracks Link can be with Zelda. Wind Waker and Phantom Hourglass Link can be with Tetra (specifically Tetra).

1. The movie you saw as a kid that you werent’ supposed to watch

I don’t think I’ve watched any movie that I wasn’t supposed to watch. Generally, I was super scared of anything that had a warning like “just for audience over 16” or something along those lines.

2. Your favorite poet

Haha. This is the kind of question where I have to check the names of authors of the poems I DO know.In my English class we had the poem “Funeral Blues” by W.H. Auden which I had found really beautiful.

I can’t think of any right now. I’m not really into celebrities and their private life /their opinions.

I think so! Sometimes I’m a bit mad at myself for getting so easily distracted while studying but I still think I’m doing more than most of my other peers so yea, I do whatever I can and I think I can be happy with that. <3

Kaito casually glanced to girl sitting a few tables away from him in the library.She’d be pretty easy to disguise as, seeing how their built and height was pretty similar. Of course, he’d have to use a wig, since his hair was neither reaching his elbows nor having this dark blond color.   But that was hardly a problem since most of his disguises required wigs- However, his brows furrowed when he took at the book which her blue eyes were glued to. Physiology it said. Histology it said. Giving the books a wry smile the thief proceeded to look for another candidate which required less specific knowledge about things he didn’t care about.

Maybe he’d check in the cafeteria.

3. Did you have an OTP you lost interest in? If so, why? My OTP always used to be KaiShin, which got me into shipping in the first place.I can’t really think of any other ship since I’m not that much of a shipper anyway. XD 4. What’s your favourite fanfiction trope? HM. God, that’s difficult. It highly depends on the writing but if I HAD to choose I’d go with supernatural and mystery. Those are not exactly tropes but genres buuuuut… The thing is, for examply, that I love wing AUs, but a lot of those which I have read in the past were absolutely not my taste. I can’t really generalize it since it always depends on the author’s way of handling a certain trope. 5. 3: Do you like your handwriting? Eh...sometimes? When I’m making an effort, it’s not that bad ;)

“Getting to Know You”

After all this time, i finally found and finished this. Sorry for the belated response, ivoryrosewood XD

How old are you?: I recently turned 19, and already feel old lol.

Relationship status: Single with no real interest in a relationship atm.

Lipstick or chapstick: Chapstick, specifically the mint or pomegranate kind.

Last song I listened to: I can't remember actually bc I've only been listening to the "Stuff You Missed in History Class" podcast.

Last movie I saw: New in Town: John Mulaney. It's a recording of John Mulaney's stand up comedy and very good. Hopefully it counts as a movie??? lol.

Favorite color: Purple or Green.

Top 3 shows: Erased, Drunk History, and Brooklyn 99. 

Top 3 characters:

Kakashi Hatake (Naruto): for all his flaws, he's still my favorite Naruto character bc of his complexity and bullshit.

Hiyori Iki (Noragami): a refreshing and strong main female protagonist, who I believe is developed well and moves the narrative and other characters. Out of all the anime I've watched, she's one of the few main females I've found who isn't annoying in some manner or completely shunted by the author.

Jessica Huang (Fresh Off the Boat): watching her chew people out and take no shit is a gift, and I fully relate to her love for Stephen King and mystery novels.

Top 3 ships: I'm not much of a shipper tbh. I casually like certain pairings, enjoy platonic ships, and I don't mind romantic ships or tropes (unless they deplete the momentum of the plot or don't work in some key way but that's another story); however, I can't really recall any ships that I've really liked…^^;;

Current job/dream job?: My current occupation is unemployed college student, and my dream is to pursue a career in the sciences, though I'm torn now between being a research scientist or a doctor. I definitely want to have a career that is mentally stimulating, challenges me, and helps others, but I have so many interests in so many different fields that I keep straying lol.

What are you talented at?: Getting sick or being in pain, having vivid dreams, getting really absorbed into books even when I don't always like them, reading really fast (some thanks to my friend's crazy amount of texts lmao), procrastinating a major project but still getting it done, all-nighters, working under pressure, not having any spatial awareness, and having too many interests. 

What is a big goal you working towards (or have already achieved)?: Getting my body back to working order, finishing my schooling whether that's just college or grad/med school, and overall being able to get through every day and accomplish /something/ so tomorrow won’t be as difficult.

What is your aesthetic?: I have too damn many, but some favorites are anything with space, rain, forests, ancient ruins/historical sites, and food.

Do you collect anything?: Books (old and new), drawings from my friend, and obligations/unnecessary responsibilities. I want to start a collection of antique fans though bc my mom gave me some of hers, and if I'm able to travel  one day then I want to collect a pair of earrings from every city or place I visit or something else.

What is a topic you are always up to talk about?: Anything tbh though it depends on if I'm the only one doing the talking or if the other person is. I'm willing to listen to anything and everything, and I like learning new things, hearing stories, and watching people speak, especially when they're passionate about the topic or animated in their gestures and display. Unfortunately, I'm rather shy (though I have random bursts of energy and outgoingness) and not the best at speaking or controlling myself, but I don't mind talking about fandoms, news, or various scenarios/experiences. I just prefer listening though. ^^

What’s a pet peeve of yours?: Destructive recklessness or inconsideration, willful ignorance or denial, using yelling or shouting to 'mediate' a serious issue, and not picking things off the floor after they fall and just leaving them there.

Good advice to give?: Don't be afraid to make mistakes, and also don't be afraid to recover and move on from those mistakes; Don't give up on yourself, and realize that you always have room and time to grow; Never stop learning; and do your best to be kind and open-minded, we need more people like that and you'll thank yourself for trying. 

Recommend three songs?: There's so many good songs though  how can I choose /just/ three??? Also I have no self control so:

"Ain't No Sunshine/Lose Yourself" by Viena Teng. An awesome mashup of two songs and one of my favorite voices I've ever heard. Skip to for the actual cover though I found her set up of sounds really cool, too.

"Interstellar (Piano Cover)" by kylelandry bc this instrumental inspires me and makes me think too much.

"One Day More!" by Les Miserables 10th Anniversary cast. What would this world be without this musical let's be real.

"Farewell" from the Disney’s Pocahontas soundtrack.  IT'S SO LOVELY I LOVE IT.

"Lava" from Disney's Lava. It's sweet and I adore it.

“Saturn” by Sleeping at Last.
