this question really made me think! i love all the cast combos, but my top three have gotta be:

ian, shayne, courtney, and damien: i remember when i first watched this video like five years ago and i was seated! i started watching smosh around that time, so i've got a soft spot for them. they feed off each other's chaotic energies so well and it's so fun to watch them have a grand ol' time

amanda, arasha, angela, and chanse: i gotta show love to the newbies! they've really ushered smosh into a new era and their chemistry is off the charts. i especially love them in this challenge pit because seeing them compete and mess with each other is so funny

shayne, chanse, damien, and spencer: this is a newer favorite grouping of mine. i'm not sure if they've been in more videos together other than this one, but it was so good! they bring out each other's competitive sides and then they go batshit crazy

and as for my fave ships, i'm such multishipping trash that i love pretty much any duo. but if i had to narrow it down to my top three:

shaymien: i mean c'mon they're SO shippable! they've been friends for over a decade, they were on a show together, they were roommates, etc. they've got that kinda easy chemistry that only comes from being such besties that i have no choice but to ship

7. Favorite hockey duo: THIS IS HARD! I'm big into the friendship side of the sport, so almost all my faves are my faves because they have a cute bestie situationship. So you've asked me to choose between all of my children and it hurts me.

I think I'm going to betray my fancy new url and go with Mitch and Auston lmao. I just love how stupidly into each other they are. Like even from a non-shippy perspective, those fuckers are obsessed with each other. They're also very good at playing hockey together. And I think that's beautiful.

16. Favorite forwards: Um.. All of them. All my favorite players are forwards except Dougie Hamilton and Kris Letang. Uhhhhh...one per team in my blog title: Jack Hughes, Mitch Marner, Geno Malkin (I am BASIC)

ooooh i do be thinking about this sometimes… i feel like i like pretty much all combinations but let’s see:

damien, shayne, courtney, chanse, angela, arasha. like, any combo of half older cast with half new cast is always very fun to me. my favorite challenge pit is shayne with chanse, angela, arasha, and amanda.

shayne, spencer, tommy, courtney, amanda. no real reason i just think that sounds like a good group. basically the minecraft crew + the smosh mouth dynamic duo

chanse, damien, shayne, spencer - my silly party animals boys (i rewatch that video a lot)

for the bonus i’m gonna change it to just my fave duos because i don’t personally ship anyone in the romantic/fic sense!

shayne & amanda - i just love these two 🥺 they’re my top two fave cast members now i think, and i’m just so thankful for smosh mouth. i think they’re both such beautiful humans and they bounce off each other sooo well

chanse & angela - they’re SUCH siblings it’s so endearing to me. like they’re always at each other’s throats competitively but the second something funny happens they’re like dying of laughter bumping into each other. they’re just so fun to watch lol

courtney & spencer - they’re such BESTIES. on the pit reddit live stream when they were sitting on the couch together they just seemed so genuinely happy to be hanging out/working together and it makes me so happy :”)

chapter 9!! the end was so sweet, all of them celebrating at the ice rink <3 (though, its a bit quick for them to get on the radio, but yknow what for story purposes i get it lol)

i was half expecting, the bathroom scene, for mercedes to point to roxy and be like "you. you seem to have the most braincells out of all of them. you're my new girlfriend" and roxy being able to connect with her for real and make mercedes break. but maybe im just gay and desperate for any wlw relationships on this silly little show ...

anw i rly enjoyed this chapter !! and kendall lifting roxy up was so cute too. the roxy-kendall duo is my second fave next to roxy-carlos interactions aaa!!!

hi!! :)) not to end the last 2 chapters with hockey but i had the idea for the ice rink thing long before i placed it in this particular chapter, i just thought it would be fun for all of them after such a long and stressful day! (even if the radio thing isn't all that realistic... don't worry about it)

also, you're out here writing my chapters better than me! i had a brief idea for mercedes to pick roxy and have them be girlfriends for a little bit but ultimately decided against it because 1. roxy isnt in the band and 2. she didn't like mercedes at all, so i couldn't come up with an ending for that particular part of the story without Roxy going off on her and i didn't want to pit two bad bitches against each other. but don't worry! there are lgbtq+ characters we just haven't met all of them yet :)

and !! i thought the kendall-roxy lift thing was a bit cheesy but like... they're friends... they care a lot about each other... ofc they're going to get through hard times together. and now im trying to remember every roxy-carlos interaction ive ever written and im drawing a complete blank. though, carlos is very, very sweet and i love that about him, so the two of them do really get along (you'll love chapter 10). i've been attempting to push the roxy-logan bestie agenda because i feel like they're the most similar when it comes to decision making and personality, but kendall feels like the type of person who can get along with ANYONE. i had to change a lot of the scenes i had written between roxy-kendall to other band members because looking back over i realized there were SO MANY in the draft it might as well have been a roxy-kendall fic just because hes so good at getting along with others to me... as a james girlie i simply couldn't let that slide... and as for roxy-james we all know how that's going. mans about to lose his girl frfr...
