I've been writing so much tonight that my finger's are cramping up in the double jointed way and I'm listening to the sauciest, most diabolical jaw-dropping, toe-curling, the father the son and the holy spirit amen-needing songs but WE PERSIST. Daily Hobie HC! I love the art of Hobie you get for your fics- they're crunchy and tasty and I love them. Hobie was always mesmerized by the way your art seemed to be so captivating, yet you were always able to find things you don't like about it. Whenever you tried to even nitpick ever so slightly about your art, Hobie would hold a hand over your mouth, whispering playfully about how you shouldn't talk badly about something that you spent hours on in case the government finds out, and that's where he knows he loses you due to the absurdity of it all. But, despite you rolling your eyes multiple times at him , he's aware it works wonders as you're no longer hyper-focusing on every little detail of your art and instead just laughing at his creatively worded ramble about government schemes. He always loves to nick (or buy, depending) art supplies and sketchbooks for you, adoring the way your eyes light up at whatever he brings you, whether it be a mechanical pencil which you always gush over what led it is (Hobie is clueless but he likes listening to you), or a new sketchbook with one of those textures on the hardcover which feel nice to run your fingers along. Any time you're doing art, you can't help but use Hobie as a muse. He could be doing anything, and yet you can't help but sketch him out, including his texture and border. Hobie teases you on how he is the perfect remedy for art block, and yet he really is. His textures, borders and colours always make you try something different with how far you can stretch with your style, as if he was perfectly made to be the cure to one of the most frustrating things you have to go through. One thing that usually happens as you're sketching out a picture, this time, a polaroid picture, Hobie will come over and drape himself across your back, burying his face into the back of your neck while his arms tightened around your middle, snuggling into you from behind. Occasionally, he'll look over your shoulder and rest his chin against it, his eyes roaming over your work. He'll sometimes point out things that you might've forgotten, like an extra stud on his choker or the dripping mascara design on his Spider-Man mask. Or, when you ask, he'll suggest things for the background. Certain flowers to frame, or a pattern or just even funny icons. However, you noticed that sometimes, Hobie will toss some crumpled up papers aside with a frustrated sigh, as if he had no idea what to do and was trying to think of something. Once, your curiosity got the better of you, and you took one of these crumpled pieces of paper while Hobie was patrolling. Your heart melted when you saw the chibi drawings that Hobie had doodled representing the two of you. You could see that in corners he was planning out your design, before one being a coloured final. This one, you two were holding hands and smiling at each other, with little scribbly hearts surrounding it. Unravelling the other pieces of paper, you noticed that Hobie had spent a while in figuring out what design best suited you, not wanting to simplify your appearance too much, yet not wanting to complicate it.
He figured that he wanted to leave a bigger gift this time, so why not leave a piece of art? Yet, he was having some trouble over the past few days figuring out a doable design for you. When Hobie came back, he barely noticed that one crumpled paper was missing, while you had already cut the doodle out and hid it in your little memory box, out of Hobie's grasp. Only was it on the anniversary of you two when Hobie finally gifted you the little drawings that he did was when you revealed the one you took. Although he was slightly surprised you paid that much attention, he was happy that you at least enjoyed it much more than he did. For Hobie, that made it all the more worth it. -馃惁鈥嶁瑳
I'm so jelly rn I wanna write a lot today too! I'm happy that you are writing so much today tho!! 鉂わ笍
Daily Hobie HC 鈥硷笍鈥硷笍鈥硷笍
I have such talented and amazing lovelies! I'm not worthy of their talents
HHAHHAHAHAHHAHA he starts to spill out conspiracy theories just to stop u from bringing yourself down
Oh Hobie would have the time of his life (nicking) in one of those bougie art supply stores with the world class stationary!
You are so right! Hobie is the best muse there is! (Stares at my 100+ fics of him)
Lol he's backseat drawing 馃槀
Aisbwjbswhjs He makes art of you!!! 馃槏馃槏馃槏 Ooh what if he paints like a little chibi version of your face on his guitar! That would be so sweet I'd cry fr 馃ス

I was an OG FNAF fan and watched content of SB when it first dropped; I cycled out of the fandom briefly due to IRL things and then looped back to watch mods and glitch runs. It made me appreciate how absolutely broken the game is. I ended up watching Ask Sun and Moon by Shandzii a few times, and got exposed to DCA content on Tiktok through SatogaCrank and a few others. I've been stuck in the glue trap since.
TBH I didn't care for the DCAs at first because their designs freaked me out, but as good fandom does, I warmed up to them via the above creators and started my own AU interpretations thereafter. I've always loved sun-moon(-stars) motifs and in my current situation having never had comfort characters before, the slew of wholesome DCA content really stapled me to the glue trap.
Technically from the beginning if it's SB, but DCA was Nov or Dec 2022? Ish?
I haven't but my bestie did, partially. We bought the game to take screenshots for references and currently have a very persistent Moon running rampant in the daycare trying to get us so we didn't get far.
To date? ASL Sun for the holidays, the "New Mother" comic, and my AU images, "Tidal Lock" and "Kilonova"
I really love the new-genre-style art that they keep coming up with, making D&D characters, wizards, mermaids, etc. The wholesome stuff makes me happy, especially when its a little new or well done.
I really like 8um8le's "Stellar City", I'm in the fringes of Fairy, Overshadowed and GITM, plus my own Free Runner and Legacy AUs.
The Jens (Jennifer, Jenny and Jenn). I've put so much work into them compared to my usual amount, they're my darlings and I adore them all.
Used to dislike it but Biblically Accurate has become amusing and very interesting to see interpreted because it's so rare now, it feels like.
The pure creativity and amazing DCA variants. I really like robots.
Canon? Sun. From an AU that isn't mine? Probably 8um8le's Sun. From mine? Moon, hands down (sorry Sun). Overall if it's not just Sun or Moon? 8um8le's Cat or Eclipse, or Satoga's Nova.
Canon Eclipse is baby, but pre-canon fandom Eclipse was wild to see evolve.
That guy needed a vacation long before the glitch set in, but I think he enjoyed himself.
He definitely had the theater kid vibe, switching on a dime from nap time to goblin mode faster than the light could flip.
Personally, they're two AI, but I enjoy the rare takes where they're a split persona or Jekyll-Hyde situation if done well. Generally it doesn't matter to me as long as it's... tasteful, we'll say.
More AUs that aren't focused on the pizzaplex. I'm biased.
DCA-cest I guess? But I filter my tags so it's not a big deal, I mostly just don't like it when they're written as brothers AND lovers at the same time. Also, fucking shipping drama. Oh my god. Leave each other alone.
Turning my Free Runner AU into a legit comic/story that's only mildly DCA-adjacent.
I'd like to hope so, I consider myself a safe person so I shouldn't set off any danger signs.
Seriously, keep cranking out other DCA variants, they're tasty and I'm looking with as much respect as I can muster.
Additional nitpick/vent thing: I love me some saucy bots but I can't reconcile canon-adjacent, active daycare attendants having genitals. Do whatever, genuinely, but I just do not comprehend them having any simply because of what they are and are made to do. It's the one thing I can't suspend my disbelief on for some reason.
Non-canon-compliant scenarios or later modified outside of fazbear? Abso-fucking-lutely. Love to see it.
But currently-working-in-the-daycare-they-were-built-to-be-in? Too confusing. Brain error.
That's all.
alright dca fandom, here's some questions bc i'm curious. the funky jesters make our brains go brr, but why? treat it as an ask game or answer in the tags if you feel like it! :)
how did you get here?
why these characters in particular? what was the hook for you?
how long have you been here?
have you actually played fnaf sb?
if you make content, what's your favorite piece you've contributed?
what's your favorite sort of art or fic? what genre/flavor/style?
what's your favorite au?
do you have any ocs, or have any ocs you're fond of?
what do you think of the dca's canon appearance? Scary? Cute? Something else?
what keeps you in this fandom despite the very small amount of canon content the dca had?
be honest: if you had to pick only one, sun or moon?
thoughts on eclipse?
thoughts on pre-glitch sun?
thoughts on pre-glitch moon?
do you interpret sun and moon as two sides of the same person, or truly two separate beings in one body? does it matter?
what's something in the fandom you'd like to see more of?
what's something in the fandom you'd like to see less of?
anything you're looking forward to?
do you think you'd actually get along with the dca if you met them irl?
free space! talk about whatever's on your mind!

Weirdly Specific Artist Ask Game
1. Art programs you have but don't use Many many MANY programs Pencil, Media Bang Pro, PS6, Blender, many programs of trying to do new things lol
2. Is it easier to draw someone facing left or right (or forward even) Definitely left for some reason
3. What ideas come from when you were little I liked dragons, but most my father showed me a LOT of super hero cartoons and comics!
4. Fav character/subject that's a bitch to draw *Exhales slowly* Forests/ woods. I LOVE every aesthetic that comes with them but I have a lot of trouble making distance look good. Luckily my character aren't to difficult to draw because I try not to over complicate them nowadays unlike in the past OOF
5. Estimate of how much of your art you post online vs. the art you keep for yourself I post majority of my stuff, as I'm more of a digital artist than a tradition one (used to be a tradish artist), what I don't post is typically just unrendered sketches of digital pieces.
6. Anything that might inspire you subconsciously (i.e. this horse wasn't supposed to look like the Last Unicorn but I see it) It definitely happens a weird amount, mostly I find my art style has a lot of inspirations from past shows I watched as a lkid.
7. A medium of art you don't work in but appreciate Pretty much all art I don't do! Stop motion has to be up there though!
8. What's an old project idea that you've lost interest in Hm, I try to pick back up a LOT of old projects that I used to do since I really don't like not finishing anything like that, I mostly just end up heavily revamping concepts in the end but still keeping a decent amount of it's integrity.
9. What are your file name conventions Had to look up what this meant lol, not anything too exciting though, just a vague name of what I'll call the piece when I post it. Sometimes I change it to something better in the posting process *shrug*
10. Favorite piece of clothing to draw Some variation of hoodie and jeans!
11. Do you listen to anything while drawing? If so, what Yes definitely! Most of the time it's music, but other times I listen to scary true stories from various readers and if I'm not in the mood for that I listen to HellFreezer's various fun tales.
12. Easiest part of body to draw Hands and eyes!
13. A creator who you admire but whose work isn't your thing Uhh I don't think anyone like that, usually I follow people because I'm interested in their stuff lol
14. Any favorite motifs Hm, that's a tough one, uhh I can't really think of anything specific
15. *Where* do you draw (don't drop your ip address this just means do you doodle at a park or smth) Usually at my PC but in the past I used to go to an Ihop in the middle of the night to relax and doodle
16. Something you are good at but don't really have fun doing I can draw literally any species some are less fun to draw than others
17. Do you eat/drink when drawing? if so, what All the time, and that mostly depends on the time of day, sometimes these tasty little digestive biscuits, some times hot chips, fruit? Then typically water, coffee, and fizzy waters, and uh drink mix powders
18. An estimate of how much art supplies you've broken I don't really break art supplies luckily, I was given this ancient hot glue gun when I was a kid and it made a loud pop sound and started smoking but that's mostly because it was ancient...
19. Favorite inanimate objects to draw (food, nature, etc.) Trees mostly!
20. Something everyone else finds hard to draw but you enjoy Hands I guess! I have a lot of characters with multiple limbs, even one with a set of 10 arms!
21. Art styles nothing like your own but you like anyways Haha if we're talking mass media I'd go with Adventure Time and CentaurWorlds bubbly style.
22. What physical exercises do you do before drawing, if any Trying to do just general stretches in the morning, though I got a desk peddle bike recently that I LOVE
23. Do you use different layer modes Definitely!
24. Do your references include stock images Sometimes!
25. Something your art has been compared to that you were NOT inspired by Tim Burton stuff, I got that a lot when I was younger even though I didn't like his stuff at all??
26. What's a piece that got a wildly different interpretation from what you intended I know there's one but I can't think of it at the moment..
27. Do you warm up before getting to the good stuff? If so, what is it you draw to warm up with I usually do, usually some random personal art drawing
28. Any art events you have participated in the past (like zines) ArtFightArtFightArtFight
29. Media you love, but doesn't inspire you artistically Gotta be cooking shows
30. What piece of yours do you think is underrated Gotta be my Kajo Ref

Weirdly Specific Artist Ask Game
Didn't see a lot of artist ask games, wanted to make a silly one.
