Welcoming Pepperoni Pete to my family!

This handsome guy is a cutting impulsively taken from my friends red log pepperomia while they were moving.

I only had what soil they had available and an old pudding jar.

I let mr Pete stay in a window while I was visiting, then transported him back in my car, I genuinely wasn't sure how he'd handle it all but he actually managed to grow some roots in the course of just a few days!

So when we got home, I took him out of the placeholder soil (not aerated enough and since the jar I have him in cant drain easily I knew I needed a different option)

I cleaned some perlite (shockingly rice Krispy treat esq) and set him up to grow out his roots before I repot him!

Here's hoping our little guy thrives!

Something Something Jason and Damian working together to find the best way to apologize to Tim for trying to murder him multiple times.

It started with Damian realizing how fucked up his childhood was and that Tim was nevwr a treat to his birthright and going to his favorite brother for help, only for Jason to realize that he should probably apologize as well.

What follows was them having hour long meetings discussing how to best apologize, how to set the right "mood", what reparations should be done for payback.

(Dick once walked in and thought that they where planning to assassinate Tim. Needless to say they started from new after that. )

Meanwhile tim just doesn't care at all. Most of his relationships started because ppl wanted to murder or hurt him.

He does see how Damian is trying to build a relationship with him, wanting to spar constantly, copying his photos with his art, just existing next to him when working.

So the story goes like this: my dad got a brain stroke sometime last week, leaving him partlyvparalyzed from one side. He didn't go to a hospital, so obviously it had time to get worse. I didn't realize it immediately when he was visiting me last Saturday that he was life-threatningly ill. Only after he was leaving from my apartment I could tell something was very wrong.

Unfortunalety dad was absolutely not willing to take help that moment and like, somehow I lost sight on a person who was paralyzed. I don't know, he thought it was a good idea to try to escape.

Aanyway, I roped my sister into this and asked her to quilt trip him harder than I can. He had told my sister that "Oh, I am just kicking the bucket here, don't worry about, enjoy your weekend." Well, obviously, she didn't.

At first I made a written notice to social services, but then I thought it twice and there not that much time. I called a crisis line, and they turned me towards emergency line. My dad was still unwilling to be located,but eventually an ambulance did take him.

So, anyway. Basically dad is just very scared of being tied in bed and tubes. At the moment he didn't really understand that with strokes there's a quite a lot of possibilities between it going away and dying immediately. He calmed down after a medical checkup, he got medication for life (that might prove to be quite short with his temper) and everything is fine. I have promised to perform a mercy killing with my own hands if it be so.

I am just completely mentally done and done. I have prepared for him dying in his home all of a sudden. I had prepared for calling help in an acute situation. I had nevwr ever thought he'd fight so vigorously to escape in that sort of situation.

I dunno who needs jesus at this moment more.

In this au spider is full of metkayina tattoos ( he is a super good warrior) and everyone in the clan is like "omg, we let human in our clan and he has so much tattoos". He is like super badass and a leader, he takes care of the children and talks like an adult but still such a sweety

And kiri is also badass, they are also hiding she is a magical girl and has super powers (eywa daughter), but she is also a really good healer and has a lot of knowledge, she gain ronals respect so easily. Its like a continuation of that one long post of mine, i did some weeks ago. Aonung had fallen for good warrior funny strong and respectable spider, and spider is Fighting inner demons.

He talks to jake about that, not that he is sad about the fact that they were humans, its about the fact that he had to kill them, he doesn't knew these people, what they have done, but he knew they were taking his siblings to rda, the same that tortured him, and the thought of rda putting tuk in the same machine they used on him, they are the same size. He didn't hesitate. But he still dont like to have so many blood on his hands, its a horrible sensation, he doesn't want loak or kiri or tuk to have this same sensation ever, loak already have but still. Jake says spmeone has to do the hard work. Spider decided he is nevwr letting his siblings do the hardwork anymore.

my high school is actually doing matilda right now as our spring play! i am one of the assistant stage managers for it and have been able to go to some of the rehearsals and even though they’re still just practicing choreography it already feels more exciting than the movie musical.

but yeah i thought some design aspects of the movie were really cool, (i loved the way the school looked) but i feel like the relationship between ms. honey and matilda could’ve been done better. and also i think matilda and her family could’ve been done better as well, like she doesn’t seem like a hurt child as much as you’d think she’d be, as she’s already really brave. (if that makes sense?) anyways, still don’t know why her brother isn’t in the movie, but oh well.

I've never read the original book so idk if michael was originally in there but I'm actually p ok w him not being in the movie, he kinda just reads as an ableist stereotype to help serve that matilda is Smart compared to her family who Isn't.

But YEAH i loved some the set design and costuming from the movie too! the escapologist's bird cage hat fucking rules. also is it just me or is the acrobat like nevwr even wearing her white scarf even when they talk about it. also how does the movie manage to be two hours long Just Like The Musical and still remove whole songs and a lot of lyrics from songs they Did used.

also this one is more Whatever but i liked how the musical had matilda's parents call themselves the escapologist and acrobat, it feels more like matilda is basing this story on her life, before finding out who's life it really was about. idk i just like it being a funny coincidence that her parents called themselves that over her making it all up on her own

BUT Still Holding My Hand from the movie is a good finale song i like how it wraps up matilda's home life storyline instead of Revolting being the finale song to wrap up her school life storyline when it doesn't end There
