Just had my first hot pot experience. One of the most stressful dinners of my life lmao.
#it was good it just combined so many things that make me anxious#menus i don't understand with a server who can't answer my questions bc not a lot of english-only speakers go there#pressure to decide on stuff quickly#ingredients i don't recognize#COOKING lmfao#i spilled stuff on my shirt#eating a broth based dish using chopsticks and in public#it was pretty tasty and i liked getting to be adventurous with new things no one recognized#i had so many mushrooms#never seen ones being wood ear mushrooms (hopefully those will settle well in my stomach)#but yeah i hope my partner won't be too disappointed if i don't want to ever do it again lol#snafustuff#food cw
