Terrible thought I needed to remove from my head. The creepypasta character Clockwork is like some sort of Chainsaw Man character that got made way too early. Her whole design definitely give off the vibes of a hired gun who gave up her eye to the Time Devil.

I still kind of miss the wild west creepypasta era I got to experience from the 2009-2014 internet -- back when youtube was mostly fresh out of high-school kids making random comedy skits/shows, when internet horror was either somewhat believable or at least was sourced from passion, when complex ARGs that interconnected with those from other creators were still in their heyday, and when the most controversy from creators you heard about was petty interpersonal drama

#rambles #idk man like i get why we moved away from this on the creepypasta/ARG side given historical context #but so much of the other half of the loss is the commercialism of the internet and losing the naivity by growing up #and i wish i could feel like that again #i literally tried to make an ARG when i was like 15??? i think?#i was like 13-16 and i literally learned how to glitch video for it but i never stayed motivated and wasnt that good at it #stupid unmedicated ADHD stopped me from becoming an internet horror legent /j
