I hope my last ask didn't make you feel like not continuing The Empire of Samadhi AU (you kinda stopped posting for the Destiny Challenge after I sent that) I wouldn't have mind if you dedicated the entire month to that one AU I was just curious.

Oh nono, it had nothing to do with that--I quite enjoyed your ask. I think what happened was my computer started overheating so I couldn't work on the art pieces I had planned for the month. Had me feeling kinda discouraged and then I got roped into helping my cousin plan a Halloween party which took up a lot of time. I still intend to finish the au and maybe a couple other prompts but it's slow going right now cause I also really wanna finish this bigger longer fic I've been trying to finish for months.

All in all I'm just a really disorginized person jumping from thing to thing with the attention span of a goldfish. Worry not, you all good dude <3

How would the spider trio react to Azure blaming MK for trapping Wukong in the scroll in the Team Friendship AU? Also what lesson would Subodhi try and teach them while their at his temple?

They would INSTANTLY stand up for him and point out it was Azure attacking MK that sliced the scroll slab in half. They would not hold back from putting the blame on him.

As for lessons... hmn... I feel like with Goliath he would need to learn to speak up more. He's the strong silent type, which leads to others underestimating his intellect. Syntax would need to learn to communicate to others and not act like THEY are stupid for not understanding what he is saying when he has such a unique and specific field of reference (and also to humble himself).

Huntsman would need to learn that he has to accept help... except Master Subohdi would see he's ALREADY learning that without being told. He would point out that him going on this mission and working with others, slow going as it may be, is exactly what he needs to do. But maybe he should pass on some of his wisdom to others so they can help him better.

Funnily enough I have been thinking a lot recently about making my own web comic, right here on Tumblr! I have a lot of concepts, although I don't know if I'd make a separate comic just for the Factual Fam. I feel like they kind'a already have a web comic..? In a way.?

And I feel like if I made a story driven comic about us, separate from the ones I'm already making.. It would feel.. idk, off? My lil guys are meant to be with me, going with the flow of whatever's going on with my blog/my life. This is their story. Their lives with me are their story. If that makes sense?? I'm not sure if I have any other ideas in mind for them.. what would their world even look like if I wasn't in it or if it was different from what they have now..??

But on the other note, could you imagine? Me? Making a 100% original comic? With my own original characters, story, and world? Its a daunting thought. The sheer amount of stuff I would have to plan and the amount of angst I could inflict on ya'll would be insane <XDD

And yeahh,, the fanart thing would be a problem... <:/

Actually the quilts are rather deceiving, they're just for show! <XD Bibi was conscious and could talk when he was still a picture. And he became a drawing without the use of a quilt. Jangles had a quilt but was still a picture. He was later "brought to life" with my pen!

The thing about all that life stuff, quilts, pens.. its honestly just for show. Those things don't bring them to life, I do. The flashy ways I do it are just for fun <XD

And about Cici! She was talking! And I think kind'a the idea as to why Jangles could hear them both was not only for the spooks. But becuase Cici and Gerald's concepts were so strongly developed at that point they were basically fully fleshed out characters. Their bodies just didn't exist yet. Hence the "I cant see" I hadn't stitched her button eyes on yet!

So basically their personalities and designs had been thought out. They just weren't there yet. But their presence was still so strong.. And Jangles being a picture kind'a bridged the gap between the concept world and the drawn one. If that makes sense??

He could still hear them after he was drawn though, I guess its an ability that he kept even after being art-ified..? <XD My lore's a little whack- its best not to look too far into it!

I need to be put in a cardboard box with all the flaps open except for 1. There needs to be a grassy/muddy floor and a bowl of water.

Then put this box out in your backyard in the pouring rain. Don't give me anything to warm myself, and only feed me refrigerated watermelon. Now THAT'S what I call a comfy habitat!

My main thing is it just feels like they "stole" what I made and drew it without asking me. And then turned around and gave it to me as a gift. Which obviously isn't what fanart actually is. But that's just how it feels.

But hey, your ask has many more reasons for me to not like fanart <XDD

The idea I had was they can use Power-Ups purely becuase they're human. Like, something about just being human gives you access to the power the Power-Ups have. .

I couldn’t bring myself to do it.

Went to all that effort; learned his schedule, learned his retinue’s schedule and their patrols. Learned about his nighttime proclivities, learned when he’d be on his way to or from. Scoped out the right place, figured out what the right time would be. Staked it out, waited for him, managed to knock out his bodyguard without breaking a sweat. Hunted down my quarry, brought my blade to his throat. Looked him in the eye.

And couldn’t.

I could feel, when I lowered the sword from his chin, her disappointment stewing in a corner of my mind, and I can’t exactly blame her. Under her—tutelage, for lack of a better term, I slew many beings far less deserving. Many beings who held no real power, or grasped pathetically for whatever power or control they thought they could handle. Here was a man who indubitably held immense power, buoyed by his wealth, frequently using it to get his way in a manner that involved stepping on, and crushing, those he considered beneath him.

A man with a finger in every pie - as he reminded me then. He didn’t even seem terribly offended that the Warrior of Light was here for his head - hells, it almost seemed like he expected it. (Maybe he did. Who am I to think I can outsmart the spy network of a multi-gillionaire? They probably knew I’d be here before I did.) He simply pointed out that were he to lose his head in so sudden a manner, it wouldn’t magically solve the problems the sultanate faces. Indeed, the ensuing chaos and conflict over everything, from the reallocation of his wealth to the sudden rush by opportunists to fill the power vacuum, would inevitably hurt the citizenry at large - “the very poor you think you’re saving, as well as our dear sultana.”

I tried to pretend I didn’t give a shite about any of that - that I was there solely to slake my own thirst for vengeance for what he did to us at the bloody banquet.

(Do I blame him for Minfilia? I know now it was Hydaelyn that called to her in that moment…)

I doubt I fooled him for a moment. I wanted to, by the gods. I would have liked nothing better than to shut Lord Lolorito up for good and shove a greatsword five times his size through his neck. But too much now weighs on me—and Mia, and Lily—to plow ahead with such a plot so thoughtlessly. People call us the Warriors of Light now. And sure, those Warriors of Light have, by this juncture, overthrown a corrupt government, slain a corrupt ruler and a dragon whose own desire for revenge drove a thousand-year war…

It isn’t as cut and dry as it was with Thordan - Lolorito has used his power to aid us just as much as he wounded us. To kill a man with such extrajudicial measures, without taking into consideration all the possible consequences, without preparing for the worst, just because it would make me feel better in the moment…

I still believe he would deserve it. But, cowardly as it is, I wasn’t prepared to bear the burden of that decision.

I had thought myself a predator stalking her prey, but the cunning little bastard understood me better than I did. And that sickens me. I need a bloody shower.

(note to self: find some way to magically lock this journal. Wouldn’t do to leave a document lying around that admits I very much attempted to assassinate Lolorito Nanarito of the Syndicate.)

Last Wednesday, we attended our first concept art lesson. This class aimed to demonstrate our established abilities in conveying visual concepts through art. Our Professor, Leonardo, permitted us to select three to five inspirational terms and utilize them to execute our first project.

I chose cyberpunk, sci-fi, Chinese martial arts elements, and loneliness.

Cyberpunk

Cyberpunk is distinguished by its striking visual elements, including neon lights illuminating city streets, iconic advertisements lining urban thoroughfares, and towering skyscrapers. The typical color palette associated with cyberpunk aesthetics comprises black, purple, green, blue, and red. These elements collectively contribute to the distinctive ambiance of the genre.

The cyberpunk theme was chosen as I had not previously created any designs relating to this subject matter. I aim to explore new ideas throughout this project.

Bionic human designs are a common motif in cyberpunk works. For example, I have a strong affinity for characters such as Motoko Kusanagi from "Ghost in the Shell" (see images 1, 2, and 3 on the left). Furthermore, in "Cyberpunk 2077", a large number of character designs (see Figures 4, 5, and 6 on the right) feature bionic elements. These designs are characterized by the extensive use of prosthetic enhancements, novel materials, and an intricate network of connecting cables, which together contribute to a distinct and futuristic technological ambiance.

science fiction

There are several different branches of science fiction literature, each representing a unique vision and exploration of the future as it was imagined by people at a particular time in history. For example, the cyberpunk theme is a typical branch of science fiction that reflects the pessimistic visions of the future held by the general public during the 1970s and 1980s, especially when computer technology became popular. Cyberpunk literature usually presents itself as an anti-utopian prediction depicting technological overdevelopment and social degradation, usually accompanied by themes of high levels of urbanization, information control, and the fusion of humans and machines. These works highlight the ethical and social issues that technology can raise, as well as the complex relationship between humans and technology. The emergence of this branch reflected the concerns and explorations of the time about the future direction of technology and society.

Chinese martial arts elements or wuxia elements

Characters in wuxia works often wear traditional Chinese costumes, such as robes, ancient Chinese armor, and hanboks. For example, in the film "Young Detective Dee: Rise of the Sea Dragon" (Figures 1, 2, and 3 on the left), these costumes often reflect the styles of different historical dynasties and regions. Martial arts movements and weaponry weapons combat weapon fighting are important visual features in martial arts works. Wuxia characters use a variety of weapons, such as swords, knives, clubs, darts, and other cold weapons, to demonstrate exquisite martial arts skills. I would like to incorporate elements of Tang Dynasty armor into my work this time, such as the two pictures in the middle.

Loneliness

Loneliness has always been a major spiritual core of the cyberpunk theme, and in the cyberpunk setting people's quality of life has not improved as a result of higher technological levels, but instead has made the rich class richer and the poor class more flatulent and impoverished. Body modification technology and consciousness-uploading technology have made human beings blur the boundaries of individuality.

I'd like to create a female warrior character, a reference to Malenia（As shown in the image below), Blade of Miquella, the goddess from Elden Ring, who guards a city alone and can only be awakened by an intruder.

OZZY OSBOURNE announces his retirement from the stage

Two years ago, the iconic Ozzy Osbourne told the British newspaper Daily Mirror that he would never retire. "Do you know the time when I will retire? When I can hear them closing the lid on my coffin! Then, fuck it. I'll do an encore!" he emphasized. "I am the Prince of Darkness," he added at the time. However, unfortunately the Madman was forced to change his plans due to the current conditions of his health. In the early hours of this Wednesday (01), through his social networks, Ozzy announced his retirement from the stage:

"This is probably one of the hardest things I've ever had to share with my loyal fans," Ozzy lamented in the caption of his announcement, which reads:

"As you all may know, four years ago this (same) month, I had a major accident where I damaged my spine.

My only purpose during that time was to get back on stage. My singing voice is fine. However, after three operations, stem cell treatments, endless physical therapy sessions, and most recently the innovative Cybernetic Treatment (HAL), my body is still physically weak.

Honestly, I am humbled by the way you have patiently held your tickets for all this time, but in good conscience, I now realize that I am not physically able to make my upcoming European/British tour dates, as I know I could not handle the necessary travel. Believe me when I say that the thought of disappointing my fans really fucks me up more than you will ever know.

I never would have imagined that my touring days would have ended this way. My team is currently getting ideas of where I can perform without having to travel from city to city and country to country.

I want to thank my family, my band, my staff, my longtime friends, Judas Priest, and of course my fans for their endless dedication, loyalty and support, and for giving me the life I never dreamed I would have. I love you all.

Recently, Ozzy spoke in an interview on SiriusXM Ozzy's Boneyard about how terrible it has been living with the pain in his spine: "It's really horrible what's happening. It's a nightmare. Sometimes I forget. I'm lying on the couch, I go to get up and I can't. My sense of balance is all over the place. My sense of balance is all over the place. I have physical therapy and am trying to do things on my own. The progress is... Fucking hell, you have no idea," lamented the Madman, who currently walks by leaning on a cane. "The thing is, my head is fine, my creativity is fine, my singing is fine, but I just can't walk much right now," he said. "But I'm determined to be back on stage, even if I'm nailing it to a board with wheels on it.

In this interview Ozzy still seemed excited and confident about the possibility of getting back on stage: "I still have a full tank. I'm determined to get back on stage again. I'm still recovering and I have a goal. And my goal is to get back on stage. It is the driving force in me. I miss my audience. I miss doing shows. I miss my crew. I miss my band. I miss the whole thing," he added. "My family has been very good. I'm the man of the house, but I've never been so bedridden in my life," he concluded.

As is well known, Ozzy is living with Parkinson's Disease, but in addition he has been dealing with problems with his vertebrae, something that forced him to undergo a series of surgeries in the second half of 2022. According to Sharon Osbourne, his wife and manager, the surgery would determine "what his life will be like from now on. Ozzy Osbourne's health has been in trouble since 2003, when the legendary original Black Sabbath singer crashed his quad while touring his mansion in London.

Unfortunately, by greater forces, we are witnessing the end of an era. The closing of one of the most important and pioneering chapters in the history of heavy metal. One of the fathers of heavy music, Ozzy Osbourne gave us the gift of his work with Black Sabbath and continued with a beautiful solo career. Like the warrior that he is, he still worked hard to release two last studio albums, Ordinary Man (2020) and Patient Number 9 (2022). Although it is clear that the Madman is no longer able to travel, we hope that he will at least be able, if possible, to continue releasing new music, because it will be hard to live with his absence from the music scene. However, if Patient Number 9 was really the last album of the Prince of Darkness, we can only thank and applaud him for all his contributions to heavy metal. Thanks for everything Ozzy...❤

What is one old project you'd love to go back to complete/possibly rewrite but for the life of you can't seem to find the time nor energy to sit down an do it?

I have so many unfinished half-finished projects I fully intend to complete its kinda insane. Makes it hard to pick just one hdhgdjdjdhfjgk

Hm well I have been thinking about my old Miraculous fic a bit more lately! I've always intended to finish it, never really stopped thinking about it, I was actually gonna see if I could tackle it after I'm done cleaning up this latest ninjago fic

As far as rewriting goes I've got far too many new ideas to get to, never been one to dwell on redoing things usually just finishing them and doing something new. There is a couple au's I've always wanted to dust off too but ough the work and time--yeah y'know what I mean lol

This is one of the nicer comments I’ve gotten relating to my stance on not liking fanart. I have had people call me childish, selfish, and even toxic for simply being uncomfortable with strangers drawing things I made/designed. 

I’m not the only one whos like this, a lot of people have come out in my comments and said they’re the same way. Some people are just so bent up that I don’t like fanart of my personal works its ridiculous-

What sucks even more is that I am actively trying to get better about this. I’ve gotten to the point where close friends can now draw fanart with permission and even follow my blog. Yet I still get people calling me horrible things for not liking fanart of my personal works. My frustration is immeasurable.

My advice would be to generate a prompt with this random prompt generator and draw some OCs/characters with it. If you don’t really have the drive to draw any complicated characters just draw some stick figures. That usually helps me get the creative juices flowing again :0

Foxy did not attack Bonnie. :0 Foxy was decommissioned, and then sometime later Bonnie was destroyed and decommissioned as well. What ever or who ever damaged Bonnie was not Foxy..

And Foxy didn’t damage the staff bot. The fear in that scene was that what ever damaged the staff bot was somewhere out there in the basement.. and Foxy was out there with it. Foxy is in danger... but then he comes back right at that moment so it was fine XD

Well, Professor Natquik was stranded in the Antarctic for years. I figured any food that he ate had to have been caught/grown by him and cooked/prepared by him. He probably didn’t have access to any spices or seasoning or really anything. He was just eating what he could to survive. That doesn’t exactly sound like a lovely home cooked meal does it..

And I figured Calico Jack was the same. For a long while he was kind’a stranded in the Amazon river. The food he ate was anything he could get his hands on really. And I bet anything he cooked didn’t taste quite as nice as a good ol home cooked meal.

Which is why they both got so emotional with Marsh’s soup. Its been a long time since either of them has been in a cozy and safe environment and was served a warm meal..

I pictured him being a lot younger than in canon though. Like, maybe a toddler. I liked the idea of him being really small too. Small enough to fit in the palm of Bowsers hand 💗😭💗

Peach and Daisy are by default stronger than most humans due to their size. Peach could probably lift more than Mario can and Daisy could lift double that :0

Oh that’s simple, the Super Crown isn’t in my AU at all! :D It simply does not exist. There isn’t a way I can fit it into my AU that would make sense.

The closest thing I could get to it is a crown that would turn Mario and Luigi into the same species as Peach. But they wouldn’t turn into women like Toadette does. They would stay male and just change species. But even then! Something like that doesn’t exist in my AU.

I imagined the land itself to be very infertile. Its swampy and gross in some areas and dry and deserty in others. Just, ick.

The residents are Koopa Troopas. And I imagined them all to be relatively normal people. The Koopa Troops are not all just monsters for no reason. They’re just people trying to survive like everyone else is. I can imagine parts of Bowsers kingdom that are poor.. you would see Koopa kids playing in the mud and swimming in the swamp.

I haven’t really developed the kingdom much more than that-

Mario is unlike anything he’s ever encountered before.. if he was gonna try to kill him, he would try to lure Mario somewhere where he can overpower him with his Koopa troops. Even then, Bowser isn’t really in a hurry to try and fight Mario again-

Console Fighting Games of 1998 - Destrega

Destrega is one of the first fighting games to move away from the traditional fighting game style with Destrega opting for an arena-style fighting game with ranged combat being a major focus. 

Developed by Omega Force, Destrega is only the second title developed by the studio following 1997's Dynasty Warriors and the last fighting game developed by the studio before they moved on to developing the Musou genre and their highly successful Dynasty Warriors series. 

Destrega was a PlayStation exclusive release, with the game first released in Japan and the US in 1998. A Europe-wide release of the game would follow in 1999 as well as a re-release as a part of the Koei the Best range.
