 A BABY, AN ANGEL. BELOVED. -14. Does your character value promises? Are they good at keeping them? Beloved’s relationship with promises is two-fold. She values honesty above all else and tries not to lie, but she is innately a good liar. She does dedicate herself to doing good and to trying to spread joy, as well as the promise of her dedication to Wee Jas. However... sometimes in Waterdeep it is difficult not to lie, especially when the laws are SO rigid and when so many people want so many different things if she were to keep all of her promises she would find herself spread out very thing. But her promises to her friends? Those are eternal. She promised not to touch Hawke and has not (except for ONCE and that was to save his life, so stfu Hawke!). She has promised to help Wormwood, and she does, and she has promised Thunk to help him better understand her spiritual world and to do better at understanding the unique culture of the dwarves. She also promised to make Jarlaxle’s life a living hell and since they threw him in jail, she has made good on that too! - 35. Do they consider themselves childish/mature for their age? I don’t think she cares. LOL. Beloved is very childish and very mature at the same time. She acts a lot more naïve and idealistic than she truly is, and I do believe she wishes she were as innocent and green as most people believe her to be based on her disposition, but she also knows how people are and that definitely has matured her... - 54. What is something they currently look forward to? What is something they dread? At the current moment in game (in our time between games) I believe she’s looking forward to Hawke coming back from Lusken and to go back to adventuring.  She’s not dreading anything! Maybe Sindra’s birthday because that means she’s not a baby anymore!!!!

ttrpg asks for Beloved!! i want answers to literally all of these questions but let's start with 1 and 9!

wow you are too nice. i'm crying T_T thank you for the interest ugh !!! 1: How did you come up with your OCs name? Beloved's a virtue name! Her 'birth name' is Nethtari Silverblight, and she has no idea but she's pretty sure that her dad made up their last name. However, Beloved grew up in Sigil and her family pretended they were very separate from tiefling culture - she never learned about virtue names til she was learning some thief skills at the behest of her father. A tiefling who was teaching her pickpocketing told her about virtue names and the 'call' of them, so Beloved's first virtue name was Desire, because she didn't have any desires... but then when she had her falling out with her family she chose Beloved, and she will definitely stay with that.

I wanted a character who was desperate for acceptance and love, whether it is both familial love, friendship, and romantic love, Beloved started her journey extremely desperate for approval and love. On the surface she exudes love and kindness, but was actually deeply afraid of any meaningful and intimate connections of any kind, so her name in the beginning was a bit of a joke. How can you be beloved if you don't allow yourself to be?

But now she is! And she is working on being more vulnerable and accepting that people love her as much as she loves them!

Nethtari Silverblight just sounds like a very villainous but cool name, and her family was kind of... villainous but also full of poseurs. So it would make sense all of her and her siblings would have edgy, dark, vampire mafia sounding names, and she is very much the opposite of that vibe so it's a name she wont ever use but i just really like how it sounds :P

Her go to made up name is 'Capable', because that's her other schtick... she just wants to be capable and to help people as much as possible. It also is helpful to have one 'alter ego' when you're tellin' lies so that you can keep your story straight.

9: What is their personality like? Beloved is extraordinarily kind, fanciful, empathetic, bubbly, sweet, and generous, but she is also a hot head and very vain. She has big bimbo energy sometimes, and is very passionate about her goddess, helping people and treating people well. She tends to act more naïve than she actually is about how horrible the world actually is and would rather partake in its many pleasures despite knowing how cruel it can be. Extremely charming and sweet, but sometimes her charisma can get ahead of her and she can expect people to like her more than they actually do. but she is also very hot tempered and can take things very personally very quickly. She usually gets over it pretty fast, but in the moment she's inconsolable and annoyingly dramatic.

She is also a huge fuckin simp and hypeman for her friends, her family, and her significant other. Literally will gush about them at all times and wont let anyone speak bad about them, she's the kind of person who would get in a bar fight if someone badmouthed her friends and then break a nail and cry about it after but no regrets. Recklessly in love with her family and will do anything for them, has zero semblance of self preservation.
