I don't know why people think the idea of Gon being as tall as Killua or even taller when they are older is something crazy, they usually say that since Ging is short Gon will also be short, I mean, is not like Silva is twice the size of Zeno, also some older Zoldycks were really small like Maha and Zigg, it also happens with Netero who had an average height and his son Beyond is huge, interesting enough the only examples of father and son where the son is not taller than the father are Silva's older kids, neither Illumi nor Milluki are as tall as Silva is.

This is a great point, anon! People do talk about Silva and Ging's heights as if they're the only factors to go off of with Gon and Killua's future heights, but in both cases there's a degree of uncertainty. It's true that the Zoldyck family heights overall are all over the place, and it's worth noting we don't know where the rest of Gon's genetics even came from. (I know the Greed Island Pregnancy Stones are a popular fan theory, but that is still just a theory at this point.)

I don't think there's anything wrong with deciding for yourself how you prefer to imagine their heights when they're older. We don't have a canon answer on this and only time will tell if we ever get one.

I like to imagine them ending up being around the same height roughly, give or take a couple inches perhaps, but I definitely think everyone is allowed their own preferences on this matter. They're certainly not done growing in canon, so anything goes!

hxh succession war SPOILERS discussion for most recent chapter (heavy, heavy spoilers read the succession war arc please):

I am so happy to be reading more hxh succession war, every chapter feels so exhilarating as the plot slowly inches forward. It's crazy that in twenty minutes of reading, my entire perception of the succession war has expanded so much...

Beyond's plans felt like they would only be relevant on the DC, but honestly it makes so much sense that his relationship with the King Nasubi would be relevant to the current arc. Especially since the idea of illegitimate children has been touched upon since ch. 378 (Second-track Fakers intro), and there are enough crumbs to start forming a theory on the legitimacy of several princes (IMO, 3 and 7 both are looking like their respective mafia dons are their fathers).

I love this twist because the reader is now invited to compare the connections between Beyond and every single prince! However, I do this Tserri is the most likely candidate. He looks like a young Netero. However, I think Camilla and Halkenburg also have a chance. I secretly hope it was Salé-salé, that'd be funny.

Additionally, the idea of awakening babies to Nen to create better child soldiers is diabolical. Anything that further fleshes out the Nen system always feels so naturally tied into what we already know.

Anime Update V3 20

From Me To You - Watched the three episodes that wrapped up the Kurumi arc. To this day I wonder what exactly it was about Kurumi that made her the series' most hated character beyond the dumb Die For Our Ship stuff - yes, she started those rumors that gave Sawako, Ayane and Chizu such a hard time several episodes ago, but not only did nothing she did or said to Sawako directly manage to stack up in hurtfulness, but even that rumor scheme got all the holes in it pointed out here, with Ayane and Chizu rightly skewering Kurumi's competence at thinking these things through and pulling them off. Aside from that, her backstory gives her adequate reason for why she'd be so clingy about her love for Kazehaya but not bold enough to take initative and open up to him about her feelings for him, and her and Sawako have the most blatantly foe-to-friend romantic-coded "rival" relationship where they both care about each other despite knowing it's probably a risk to themselves and their romantic pursuits to do so and have some of the cutest, funniest, and heartfelt interactions, how can you not find it precious? You shouldn't even need to wait for the manga to catch Kurumi up with her character growth, this section of the story gives you plenty of reasons to love her already! I like the resolve Kurumi came to here. Good for her.

Hunter x Hunter - At long, long, long, long last, I've finished the Chimera Ants arc. All surviving Ants are moving on with their lives, including Welfin joining Hina, Bizeff, and the others to search for the never-to-be-found Gyro. Bloster, meanwhile, delivers that unnamed servant Ant to a familiar village and it turns out that all along, this Ant was not only not really mute, she's Kurt's little sister Reina who rettained her human memories, and oh God did I get choked up watching her and her mother having their big tearful reunion and seeing her bring Bloster back with her to live in that village too.: it was beautiful. And then Colt calls up Morel to reveal the startling realization that the Queen's last child that he's been taking care of is in fact the reincarnated Kite, compounding the tragedy of Gon's story since he's at death's door and hospitalized, all for pretty much nothing. Killua seeks a way to ensure the surgery goes succesfully and Gon's life can be saved, while elsewhere, just as in real life, an election season is in order, as Netero's final message to the Hunters Association beckons they select his successor the democratic way!

SHUFFLE! - Ended the series with the last two episodes. Asa's mom being a demon, making Asa a human-demon hybrid whose blood allows her to access magic powers, was absolutely not a turn I'd seen coming, but in hindsight it makes sense. Not sure how I felt about the climax of the whole thing revolving around Rin threatening suicide in order to force Asa to use her magic to save both of their lives, but the result of it was effective and ensured everything got wrapped up in a satisfying way. An alright end to an alright show.

KonoSuba - The second OVA, in which Kazuma leads his party on different high risk quests all so he can have new stories to tell to a random fangirl who keeps meeting with him at the pub, to the point where they have to fight another giant robot created by the same crazy asshole who was behind the events of the first season's finale, all just for Kazuma to learn that his fangirl could barely stomach him the whole time and was just getting paid to motivate him in quests!

K-On! - The second year of school has begun and the Light Music Club is out to get some new membership by any means necessary. And I mean any means, as they even do a publicity stunt in stupid plush animal costumes in hopes of it grabbing attention. After another successful on-stage performance, a girl named Azusa comes to their clubroom asking if she can join. You're going to end up making Season 2 all about you, aren't you? Well, at least Yui's happy!

Eureka Seven - Pulled a "Sozin's Comet" with all four final episodes of the show, which provided so many revelations, exhilerating action, powerful crescendos to all the character arcs and relationships (I'm never emotionally prepared for Dominic and Anemone in Episode 48, it is so epic and gets me every time!), and an ending that...honestly didn't make a whole lot of sense. I mean, I got the basic idea of it: the Scub Coral keep their ties to the Earth, but all of the Coralians and the new central cluster leave for the parallel universe where they'll wait until when both worlds are ready to co-exist. But the way it got executed was pretty confusing, especially since Eureka and the now Corallian Renton choose to stay on their planet, yet can't really live on the planet like people anymore, leaving everyone who knew them wondering if they'll ever see them again? The only other nitpick is what directly preceded that, where even before the existence of the putrid Astral Ocean series, the entire "humanity and Scub Coral can co-exist and help each other grow" theme is a bit undercut by Renton fucking slaughtering his way through several Coralians in order to reach Eureka. But those problematic areas were far outshone by how beautifully this whole thing came together here. Much like Nadja of Tomorrow, this is a show where the long game was well played and well worth it, and even with all the later sequels, spinoffs and imitators, it's one of a kind. Dai Sato, you will always be famous.

Air - Two episodes that set us back 1000 years prior to the story we've been watching and unveils the origin of the fabled winged girl in the sky, shown here to be named Kanna. We see her and her two companions Lady Uraha and Sir Ryūya set out on a journey to find Kanna's missing mother and avoid forces from their palace who are conspiring to lock her away in another temple. Tragically, they find her only to lose her, as she passes her ancient prayer on to Kanna before dying. When Kanna takes flight, she's caught by a curse that strikes her down, leading to her having to experience death over and over again while her mind is trapped in an endless, lonely dream. Ryūya and Uraha learn about the curse and vow to end it by having a child who will break the curse, with them implied to be Yukito's ancestors. But now that Yukito is out of the picture and Misuzu, the current incarnation of Kanna, is all alone, how will it ever work out?

Sailor Moon Crystal/Infinity/Eternal/Cosmos - Yes, I watched all of this over the latter half of Summer in anticipation for when Cosmos dropped on Netflix. And I saw a subpar adaptation of a classic Shoujo action/romance manga turn into a dramatic time travel epic with far more competent adaptational choices, which then became a science ficiton/gothic horror work with more powerful storytelling and character depth and even some darker moral gray areas, and that gave way to a twisted fairy tale adventure that championed the power of love, friendship, and dreams...and then what I ended on was a straight up mythic tale with deeply personal stakes and some heavy spiritual themes! That last one is especially not what many would think of when thinking "Sailor Moon", but that's seriously where Naoko Takeuchi led her original story to! And I have mad respect for that and enjoyed the overall ride through a true Japanese legend!

Alright! I wanna talk about my thought process behind this crazy detailed piece I made for the hxh adventures zine in 2018! Get ready for plenty of closeups and references.

So the @hxhadventures zine was the very first fandom zine I've ever been accepted in, which was huge for me back then, considering hxh is the first ever fandom I've been deeply involved in! So I was like 'damn...i gotta bust my balls to make a super good piece cause there's so many amazing artists working on this thing.' I will never make a piece this detailed again, probably LOL this took me...so many weeks.

I knew I wanted to make something regarding Yorknew City, and thought back to the marketplace that Leorio and Killua and Gon visited while waiting for Kurapika to get back to them. It reminded me a lot of Mongkok's markets when I visited Hong Kong a few years prior, so I worked with some references from there.

As for what goods would be sold in the stall...well. I was really figuring it out all as I went. After a while of thinking, I decided on drawing a bunch of little references from anything I could remember from hxh. References to characters, places, important props...nevermind that it didn't make sense that the characters were stepping into a shop that was basically meta, it just felt cool as hell to include anything I could remember from the nights when I binged the manga and anime.

Let's start from the top right:

These chinese animal lanterns are references to the 12 zodiacs! And I had to include the blimps that the main cast moved around in from the anime.

What is this Fuzzy Feeling? Hisoka x Reader

Hello, anon! Thank you for this wonderful request! This story is about the reader approaching an angry Hisoka while he is sitting alone in a dark corner. He is angry because he has just found out that they have disqualified him from the hunter’s exam for the 4th time. The reader slowly approaches him and displays one simple act of kindness, hoping it will turn him around. I enjoyed writing this story! Of course this story is very close to canon Hisoka and gets fluffier towards the end...a little. Y/N is narrating the story. I have a few more Hxh requests and then I will be moving on to the next show! All that was visible were his bright, piercing, golden orbs. Why did it feel like they were tearing right through my soul? I heard several horror stories about this man and even knowing so, I still approached him.

“Are you crazy, y/n?! He’ll cut your head clean off!”

“Forget him! Didn’t you see him nearly kill an examiner? What do you think he’ll do to you?!”

Hearing my competitors show concern for my mission seemed rather humorous. Knowing the aim of the exam, why do they care if Hisoka puts me out of my misery? It’s not like they care; all they want is to claim the kill for themselves. I have to admit, the closer I get to him, the more my body quivers. Every time I made distant eye contact, my knees buckled. If I die at this very moment, I have no one to blame but myself. Earlier today, Netero had us complete an assignment that comprised us writing about our accomplishments, how we would use our Hunter’s license, our deepest darkest fears, strengths, and weaknesses.

What is my weakness? I could not figure it out until this very moment. My religious household emphasized the importance of forgiving others of their wrongdoings and seeing the light in everyone, but failed to note about observing one’s consistent toxic behavior. I spend years and years trying to forgive others that have hurt me and none the wiser.

“This man isn’t as bad as everyone says,” I thought. “No human could be so inhumane.”

The flickering power added to the ominous atmosphere, making me shudder more. Once I approached the light 2nd from his position, he lifted his head higher. I could see bags underneath his eyes as if he hadn’t slept in months. Dark brown made his gaunt eyes look like the devil himself; something that would devour me as soon as I was within his reach. His mouth shielded, but I’m sure his sharp teeth were ready to go to town on my neck. For the first few tests, I had only heard rumors about Hisoka. I hadn’t seen him with my own eyes until now. The shadows cast on his muscles made them look much bigger and frightening. The veins in his arm raised heavily as if he just lifted 300 lbs. All the nails on his fingers were very sharp, like knives almost. They remind me of “coffin nails”, a popular nail style. His hair design was something that mimicked a volcano shape; curly and pushed back into an up-do. Although he was very intimidating, he was handsome, devilishly handsome. As I finally reached the only bright light directly in front of him, my eyes widened. He lifted his face to meet my weak gaze and smiled widely. My gut told me I was doomed, but something told me to stay for just a second longer.

What have I done?! Curse this innocent curiosity!

As I turned to run for my life, I wasn’t able to make a full 180! I glanced down at my shin, wondering why I could not move. I screamed several times, “Run!”, but my brain would not signal my legs. Trying to scream was no use; no words would come out. The sight of this man-made my arms frozen stiff; they would not move.

“You must be the brave soul that I’ve been hearing about. Why would you turn away without saying hello~♠?”

The sound of his voice was strangely satisfying; something that would cause me to melt into a puddle. He grabbed my leg and knocked me off balance. I hit the ground so hard that it swelled my knee after impact. The magician grabbed me by my arm, pulling it rather recklessly so my head could be next to his and my torso would touch his. He wrapped his buff right arm around my shoulder, turned his chiseled face in my direction, and smiled evilly.

“You are much quieter than I expected. Are you scared~♥?”

His eyes... don’t look into his eyes! They’ll suck you in!

“I, uh….”

“Aww, come on now. I know I’m handsome, but there’s no need to be flustered~♠.”

Are all men egotistical jerks? Sure he’s handsome, but he isn’t to die for.

The nail of his index finger gently grazed my chin, lifting it to meet his eyes. I could no longer escape his gaze. The more I focused on staring into his eyes, the more my heartbeat. I didn’t know if he was going to rip it out casually or use me as one of his toys and discard me like a dirty diaper.

“What’s your name, darling~♥?”

“Y/N,” I whimpered. “Would you let me go? I’m not here to be held against my will.”

“Then why did you invade my personal space? Hmm…~♠? The light above my head signals to stay away or else.” The particular emphasis on “or else” sent chills down my spine. Hisoka could feel me quivering and instead of laughing obnoxiously, he chucked to himself.

“Last year’s applicants were interesting, but you all are much more entertaining. If I am scaring you, you are not cut out to be a hunter~♥.”

“Oh, shut up,” I say. “Who do you think you are? An examiner?”

He cups my face in between the groove of his thumb and index finger. I tried my hardest to resist the force, but I am simply not strong enough. My lips puckered rather foolishly, appearing that I was waiting to be kissed by this fool.

“Ugh! You’re---That hurts! Loosen up!”

“I’m sorry, but I cannot. I haven’t had a laugh in such a long time.~♠”

“You’re horrible! How could you live like this?! Aren’t you worried about the consequences of not getting your license?”

“Consequences? Such as what~♥?”

“If you fail the exam again, you won’t have it. Knowing you, you’ll steal, kill, and destroy, and guess what? You’ll be prosecuted! Then maybe you’ll stop this menacing behavior!”

“Oh, darling,” he chuckled. “Tsk, tsk, tsk. My heavens, you have me all figured out, don’t you~♦?” He dabbed the tip of my nose.

“What is it with you? Why do you act this way? What is it you want?”

He let my face go, still grazing his nail down my cheek. Instead of grabbing my face again, he gently grazed my arm with his fingers this time. His hand rested on top of mine. Even though this man is an abomination, his touch, his warmth, and even those piercing golden eyes made my stomach, my entire being, have a feeling that I hadn’t before. As my attention diverted to his uniquely styled hair, I caught him furiously licking his lips.

“What is it I want, you ask? Isn’t it obvious~♠?”

I shook my head no, although the answer was quite clear.

“I want YOU~♦.”

“Gross! Not in a million years!”

“Don’t act like I didn’t see your passes. You didn’t conceal them. I would have gotten to you sooner had I listened to myself~♠.”

“Huh? You listen to others?!”

“Yes. An acquaintance of mine advised me to pursue you at a better time, but I think you are ripe enough to eat~♦.” He licked his lips again.

Ripe? I’ve heard that before!

When Hisoka deems someone “ripe enough to eat”, that means he is ready to put them out of their misery! Oh, no! Maybe I should have listened to everyone else! This is what I get for thinking that everyone has a good side and is worth redeeming!

I tried to get up again to at least try to save my life. I ran on all fours; my legs and my hands and just when I had gotten far from him, he grabbed my shirt, ripping it a little. In that instant, it engulfed my body in a horrendous essence that made my body tense. This time I could not feel my legs, arms, or feet. Just my weak body froze in time. I could hear Hisoka’s breathing; it was deep, almost sounding like the devil had spawned on earth.

“What a shame. I would have loved to fight with you in the future~♠.”

With a Joker card in his right and an Ace in his left, he threw both at me, aiming for the major arteries in my neck. By grace, somehow, I gained the strength to dodge his cards. Astonished by my sudden burst of energy, he continued to throw his cards aimlessly at me. He laughed and laughed, hoping to strike my very core, but he was not ready to receive my attack, one that would surely blow him away. I ran and dodged his attacks rather well. Feeling his blood-lust was frightening at first, but it motivated me to fight for my life until the very end.

After each step, I finally reached the only stable light in the hallway, the one that was in front of Hisoka. Before he could throw another card, I was much too close to him. If he threw one at me, he’d stab himself, too.

If I am going to perish, at least I will have done something good for once.

I leaped at Hisoka, both arms extended and circled open, ready for an embrace. Once I met his personal bubble, I wrapped my thin arms around his core so tightly that his breathing had been limited. Oddly, he did not pry me off. Instead, he stood dumbfounded. He looked down at me with the blankest expression. His body felt so cold as if he had been standing in a winter storm for three days. He had an abnormal heartbeat that almost made me cry. Goodness gracious, I felt bad for him. His blood-lust intensified the tighter I hugged him. I wanted to squeeze the evil out of him until there was no more left. It was already bad enough about the horrible conditions of the hunter exam, but to have the Devil’s seed in this too was too much. His mouth was open, unable to say anything. Once I met his eyes, I noticed they appeared to be softer than before. He no longer seemed ghastly; his skin was no longer pale, his brows were no longer furrowed, and the color of his cheeks had darkened slightly. My hopeful nature somehow always sees the best in anyone. Deep down there is a wonderful gentleman and I want to make sure the world sees him.

“W-What are you doing,” he asked, shaking.

“Spreading the simple act of kindness.”

Just as I was about to release him, he was about to embrace me as well, but before he could do so; I released and took two steps backwards. He looked confused, as expected. He was flustered; something no one has seen before!

“What’s this feeling? I feel something in my chest-”

“It’s love, kindness; something you have never experienced before.”

“Why did you hug me for so long?”

“You needed a hug. I can tell.”

“What? I need no such thing. What makes you say that,” he asked, folding his arms, still feeling fuzzy and warm inside.

“I know beneath that flirtatious smile is a broken monster. It’s my job to bring the best out of anyone, including you.”

Describe their canon relationship/dynamic 

In canon, Morel and Knov are shown to be at least well-acquainted, if not outright good friends. They work together/ hang out a lot during the extermination mission, engage in friendly banter/bets, and even when Knov has to drop out of the mission, Morel doesn't bear any ill intent towards him. Their last scene together in the show/manga is them getting a bottle of champagne with their bet money (because they both technically lost) and toasting Chairman Netero. 

Your ideal/headcanon version of it? How does it differ from how it is in canon and why is this your favorite version? Any other alternate versions of it you enjoy? 

Marriage. They are married and have been for at least 15 years at the start of Chimera Ant. Before that, they dated a decade and before THAT had a decade or so of unresolved romantic/sexual tension after they took the Hunter Exam together at 14/15. 

Because it. Well. Took Knov that entire time to realize he was 1. Gay and 2. Gay for Morel specifically. When Knov grew some romantic self-awareness and realized he was in love with Morel, they got together and have been together ever since. 

In canon we don't get much, if any, backstory on them at all, and no indication their relationship is anything but platonic. (Aside from the fact it's Hunter x Hunter and everyone is gay.) So my HC is different in that they have a long history together AND it's been romantic for a long time. I feel like it's not even at odds with how they interact in canon, you could argue their comfort with/towards each other is just years of knowing each other–

Ahem. I like my particular headcanon/interpretation because I like the idea of them having a deep friendship and appreciation for each other before they even get together romantically. 

I also enjoy interpretations where they meet and have immediate rapport/chemistry, and ones where they start out disliking each other for whatever reason and then end up falling in love. I just want them to be in love!!! 

What do you like about their relationship? Why is it enjoyable or interesting to you? 

I don't know if I've waxed poetic about it before but I love hardened middle aged men in love. They have a ton of respect and trust (regardless of if you see their relationship as platonic or romantic) and while they're different in a lot of ways, they're also a power couple who support each other no matter what. They would and have done anything for each other, including murder. They adopted weird kids together and raised them to enter the crazy world of Hunters. They're both restless adventurers but right at home with one another in a way they never were with other people. 

Also I love a light/dark thin/muscular tall/even taller visual dynamic because I'm shallow. In addition to all the deep emotional stuff they just look good together!!!

What about the individual characters involved? What does the relationship mean to them, what makes it unique among their relationships? 

Tl;Dr version: They saw one another as important and worth making time for even before they got together. They wrote to each other like. Weekly. They're gay your honor. 

Knov- Morel’s friendship didn’t come loaded with expectations or obligations like every relationship from Knov’s previous life. His friendship and eventual relationship with Morel helped him realize not everyone’s out to get him, and there are people in the world worth trusting and loving without reservation. Morel sees Knov for who he is and disarms him like no one else can. Knov knows he can always count on Morel, and Morel can do the same for him. Morel is his Person. 

Also, he just thinks his husband is so. So hot. Knov keeps a cool, ice queen exterior but inside he’s still blown away he managed to end up with someone so suited to his tastes. 

Morel- Morel…well. He planned on teaming up with Knov for the Hunter Exam because they were the youngest examinees that year and ended up with…complicated feelings by the end of it. He would’ve been fine with just remaining friends if that’s what Knov wanted, and he even dated quite a few other people, but no one clicked with him like Knov did. 

He’s the more romantic of the two, and despite his intimidating exterior he just loves love. He likes the fact Knov’s not afraid to call him out or challenge him. He and Knov don't need each other. They'd be just fine on their own. But they want each other, and want to be together. 

Also, Morel is not one to let people tell him what to do, but he'll let Knov in certain uh…circumstances. 

Favorite interaction they have in canon 

This probably reveals what a terrible person I am lol but. When they meet Killua outside NGL and it basically goes: 

Morel: -says something mean- 

Knov: Wow that was mean don't be so harsh -says something that's just as rude, if not worse- 

Morel: lol how was that any better than what I said 

I knew right then they were the middle aged gays of my dreams

ANSWERING IN POST FORM SO I CAN KEEP IT IN MY TAGS more about evan 😈

Hmm when he was younger he had no hope for himself at all, honestly wasn’t sure if he would make it past 14. So being threatened by this man, he didn’t mind at all if he was going to get hurt, his goal was just to get Kite’s attention (which worked!). But if it didn’t end up working and Evan say did get horribly hurt or even possibly killed, he wouldn’t have minded. He didn’t believe he deserved to live after what he had done to his family (while he still hated them, he still feels shame and believed/believes that he was only proving that he’s just the same as them for killing them.)

This is from a mini comic I did a few months back but Evan has certainly improved with his mental health and belief on whether he deserves to live or not. He may still struggle from time to time believing this, but he does certainly want to protect his new home (the casino is what he says is his new home, but really it’s Kite if you look deeper between the lines.)

While he did also want to get Kite’s attention, i want to say that he did care about the animals being let loose from their abusive owner, it’s just i’m unsure if he really would’ve acted by himself then if Kite wasn’t indirectly motivating him to do it.

His morals are… well he thinks he’s in the right at least!

Similar to Kurapika, Gon, and maybe even Killua with Alluka, Evan is willing to put down anything to protect his home. It doesn’t matter to him if it even comes in the way between him and his current companions; if they try anything he won’t hesitate to stop them.

I guess that’s what could possibly go along with his morals and Kite’s clashing, Evan isn’t afraid to kill if there’s still a choice. While Kite only wants to kill if that’s the last option or if the opponent is risking lives and about to kill someone, Evan doesn’t mind jumping in and getting to them if Kite doesn’t make the move first (sometimes Kite can tell him to not do anything stupid, then maybe Evan will listen but! 🤷‍♂️ yk if Kite isn’t there well there’s not much he can do.)

For what he wants… I have it in my notes that Evan could possibly be considered a Jackpot Hunter since he does just want to get more money to help others and yk have some sort of prize waiting for his lucky customers (he’s mad rich now!), but my brain is still a little :/ about it since he doesn’t really make contracts/deals with rich people or anything. Hmm yeah I think I would have to say I’m still working on this part (specifically because I think it’s a little lame that Evan just wants money, but whateva!)

OHH GOD AFTER CHIMERA ANT ARC IT’S OVER FOR EVAN!!!

With Evan’s obsession with wanting to protect his only home(s), you could only imagine the way he would feel learning about Kite’s yk……. looks away

It certainly makes him have a weird sort of time dealing with his emotions since it’d been so long since he last dealt with anything as severe as this. In fact, I think it would be funny if Evan was also brought along (at first) by Netero to help capture Kite only to see that state of his body and yk… go crazy go stupid!

When Evan found out that Kite was reincarnated into who is now known as Chimera Ant Kite, he would feel seeeveral emotions at once. Yes, he’s definitely relieved to find out that Kite’s back, but you know… Would Kite remember him? Would he still want Evan back in his life when he wasn’t there for him in his final moments? Yk just questions like that would be running through his head at the news.

Of course when did find out, Evan would go with Kite’s group of students to help take care of Kite while they quickly grow up. I feel like Kite would confirm remembering Evan and even letting him know that it was his own selfish act of overconfidence that led him to his death; not Evan’s fault. This would calm Evan’s brain just a bit but the thought is still there.

After that though Evan and Kite do get along perfectly fine, Evan makes more lighthearted jokes about marriage and Kite just tells him to get out with those jokes, but they’re more than happy Evan is here. (Evan even poked fun that Kite stole his outfit and hairstyle because they missed him, they chose not to respond to that. It’s fine though because Evan also gets a style change and wear’s a normal white turtleneck now, lost the belt tail and the strap he had on his thigh. I didn’t realize when I made these changes that he and Kite literally switched outfits after the chimera ant arc 🤦)

Overall, they do get along well. Evan is certainly not the same as he used to be; he’s much more serious and solemn now, sometimes staring off into space like he’s watching something from a distance. He doesn’t mind this new Kite at all honestly, he just still seriously wishes it were him instead of Kite. Kite too still likes him just the same as before, but with their changes it’s hard to say if they would keep Evan around for long if that makes sense? With their new perspective on killing and using it as a threat, who knows if Evan will be alive the next day!

Evan does take things more seriously now though and is definitely much more wary of any form of danger around them. While Kite does tell him to knock it off and that they can take care of themself, Evan is still yk… on edge.

Funny enough, it’s supposed to be someone who was a child of one of the people Evan killed back at home. He holds great rage and seeks for only revenge from Evan for taking away his only family. He would definitely prove to be as strong as Evan (maybe even stronger? Teehee!), but all I can say for now is that he succeeds in taking away the casino, leaving Evan to have lost his only homes for the second time.

The character is still a work in progress, but once I get his design down I’ll definitely post it here 😈

⭐️Chapter 7: Foxy and Oinks 💧

As all the applicants who had passed, were on the blimp, traveling to the third Phase.

Y/n was sleeping in her room already, which she was sharing with her brother and Illumi. She was laying in between her plushie and Mr Oinks, who was snoring next to her. She was exhausted since she wasn't use to all the travelling around, social interactions and adventure, so it was obvious she would be tired.

Hisoka had put the female to bed while he was busy building a small tower of cards.

As the female was sleeping, she moved around a bit, seemingly dreaming about who knows what.

The foxy plush, foxy, was staring down at hisoka, who looked up at the fox plush feeling the aura emit from it.

"Don't worry I won't do anything~" Hisoka said to the plush, as he pushed the card tower, making it tumble over. The plush didn't show a reaction, but Hisoka seemed amused.

"I've been with My little fox since she was a few months and you still don't trust me~" It would have probably looked crazy if someone walked into Hisoka talking to a stuffed animal, but it wasn't unusual for the 2 siblings to talk to the plush considering what Y/n's nen, Spider Coin, made the plushie be able to mentally talk to the 2 Morows.

Hisoka frowned at the foxy plush. "I would have left you there if y/n wasn't holding you when she was left." After a few moments of silence the male had gotten up and left, he said at the door towards the plush.

"Y/n loves me more than you~" Blood lust leaked from the plush as Hisoka left, which ended up making the small female slowly wake up.

"Foxy..." She mumbled as she sat up, rubbing her eyes, also ending up waking Mr Oinks up from the movement.

She climbed out of the bed, and noticed the missing Hisoka, and the cards scattered on the ground. She picked up her fox plush and started to walk out with the plush in her arms and Mr Oinks following her.

~~~~~ "Get back here!" The chef yelled out the door from the kitchen as Y/n was yelling a sorry as she chased Mr Oinks, who had stolen food from the kitchen, to who knows where. As they ran the pig ran into a room that seemed to be a gym and Killua, Gon and The Chairman were inside.

Y/n grabbed onto the pig and soon both of them were on the ground.

"OOF!" Y/n made a sound as she landed on the ground, while Mr Oinks squealed. Y/n looked up at the 3 males, who were sweat dropping at the female's sudden entrance.

She sat up and smiled nervously. "Hai..." 

The old man held the ball in his hand, twirling it on his one finger. "Wanna join us and play a game?" The male asked, as the female's eyes lit up, seeming excited to play.

"Yes! What game are we playing?"

"All you need to do it take the ball from me." Y/n nodded as she set her plush down on the side, with Mr Oinks sitting next to it.

"You can do it Lil sis!" Gon cheered for the small female as he sat to the side with Killua. 

"Get the ball!" Y/n said to herself soon her eyes turned dark as bloodlust leaked out of the female. Killua and Gon seemed to express fear from what the female was doing, but also seemed intrigued with what she was doing. 

As chairman Netero looked at the female, examining her and thinking about her learning Nen. She strikes. She ran forward and as the chairman was going to move left to make her run passed, the female moved left, with a few seconds. The chairman's eyes widened slightly, not expecting the female to move so far. As she tried to grab the ball from the male's hand he threw it up , making her miss, her eyes widened a bit as she landed on the ground and jumped to grab it, her finger touched the ball, but it was taken out of her reach making her fall to the ground as her bloodlust disappeared.

The 3 males looked at the face planted female who sat up and rubbed her head. "Owie..." She mumbled as she rubbed her head. She let out a yawn and looked at the males.

"I'm tired.." She mumbled and went towards where her Pig and fox were and laid down, falling asleep and all 3 males sweat-dropped.

'Did she just attack him once and go to sleep!!' Gon and Killua thought, while on the other hand Netero was thinking.

'It's seems like her nen is too powerful for her at the moment...' Netero thought and lifted his arm up making both males who tried to get him while he was distracted fall to the ground.

Anime Update V3 12

From Me To You - Rumors are being spread about Yano and Yoshida, and some about Sawako herself, with the common belief being that Sawako is the one who started them. Yet Sawako is clueless about this and believes that it's just urban legends about her having ghost girl powers circulating again, and when confronted on this by Shino we get a groan-worthy turn of Sawako saying she doesn't think she could call Yano and Yoshida "her friends" right when Yano and Yoshida come along to overhear it, and they get dragged off by that whacked out teacher guy before they can hear the rest of it. So now there's a rift between her and her two gal pals who just earlier in the episode were calling her the "purest bean." And Sawako has reason to worry further 'cause Kazehaya might be next!

Hunter x Hunter - The raid on the palace is still ongoing, Shoot is fighting against Youppi, Killua makes a risky move to protect Ikalgo that separates him from Gon, and Gon sees Netero and Zeno being led elsewhere by Meruem, with Netero seeing Gon too. Incidentally, this is apparently the only time in this arc Gon ever lays eyes on the Ant King. Yeah, they never really meet each other! That is strange!

SHUFFLE! - Nerine relayed a pretty out there tragic backstory about a clone of her named Lycoris that once existed and who was like a twin sister to her before she was stricken by a terminal ailment that made her have to merge with Lycoris and inherit everything that had been part of who Lycoris was, including her singing voice. The only remaining trace of Lycoris is Primula herself, who was her actual sister created in the same process that made her. Asa then randomly collapses at Kaede's house, so Rin goes to see her and Asa tells him some of her own past about her chronic illness and her mother.

The Case Files of Lord El-Melloi II - Saw the first part of the train ride murder mystery that this was inevitably building to and will make up the second half of this series, with Waver taking on Rail Zeppelin, where there's some dealings going on for selling Mystic Eyes at an auction that takes me back to Yorknew City and what the Phantom Troupe was doing in Hunter x Hunter. We meet this rich, politically powerful girl named Olga-Marie, who warns Waver not to interfere with the plans for the auction. Also present are Karabo Frampton of the Holy Church, and Yvette L. Lehrman, Waver's crazy student who crushes on him. Poor Gray suffers from motion sickness throughout the episode, and at one point where she has to go drink at the bar, Waver confides in her that though he plans on bringing back Iskandar, it's likely he'll come back with no memory of him and the bond they share. Elsewhere, Reines has assigned two familiar faces to investigate into who stole Iskandar's mantle from Waver. And then at the very end, a murder is discovered. Let the excitement begin!

KonoSuba - Season 2 picks up where Season 1 left off and I honestly wasn't expecting anything that different from what we got: a truly crazy series of events that saw Kazuma accused of crimes and held responsible for damages his party has caused, locked up in prison, interrogated by Sena and getting mistaken for an agent of the Devil King due to a fluke with her lie detector, and then put on trial where witness testimony is continually damning him, with this Lord Aldarp guy really wanting to see him hang for all the messes he'd made on his property. Kazuma is able to prove his innocence yet Aldarp still wants him convicted, so Darkness has to reveal her family crest and give herself to Aldarp to make him back off, something sure to bite us later on. All's well that end's well, right? Of course not, as knights come in like freaking Repo Men and take all the stuff out of the mansion the party's been staying at. We're back to square one!

Symphogear XV - With the last of the silly, adorable chibi-style OVAs for this season, Symphogear is finally finished. The ride was wild and sometimes bumpy, but well worth it for all the highs this series continually managed to reach with each progressing season it had. I'd overall rank the seasons as: GX > G > SZS1 > XV > AXZ.

Eureka Seven - Gekkostate launched their mission to breach the Military's encampment at the capital and rescue Master Norb. Dewey at first dismisses the attack and has yet to realize that Holland even found a partner for Eureka. As Renton and Eureka go into hiding until the time is right for the Nirvash to make its move, Holland confronts Dewey and we finally get the on-screen confirmation that they're brothers, that they both began as Lifters before joining the army, and worst of all, that Dewey is Talho's ex-boyfriend! Dewey also gives his best soliloquy here, speaking words about deceptive yet persuasive demagoguery to rally ignorant people behind a cause that are still distressingly relevant today. Despite how much Dewey condescends to his brother, Holland is able to get one over on him when the Nirvash comes in and takes off with Norb, making this a success for Gekkostate. But bigger things are only just beginning to take shape...

Gintama - Finished the Yakuza VS Aliens arc with the remaining two episodes, where Shinpachi understandably gets pissed at Gintoki and quits Odd Jobs to go get Kagura back, Kagura and her father are on a spaceship off from Earth when one of Prince Hata's new alien pets breaks loose and becomes a colossal menace that draws in the Shinsengumi as well as Gintoki and Hasegawa to the scene, and Kagura gets to show her father how she's grown as a fighter and what she now uses her strength for, making it clear her potential to outdo him in just about every way. After all the expected high octane action and hilarity of this show, the last act suddenly takes on an incredibly somber and serious tone with Kagura's papa detailing his dark past and the past of the Yato Clan to Gin, and why he felt he could never trust himself nor his daughter to function in a peaceful society. The very end of the episode, of course, is when this mercifully short-lived English dub sabatages it: Kagura's letter to her papa is supposed to be this very sincere, very emotional moment, but Kagura's voice acitng just sucks so much that it takes out all the intended emotion. Had to hear Rie Kugimiya's original performance to get it right. And so Odd Jobs is back together again...again.

Moriarty the Patriot - Finally returned to this show with the three part "A Scandal In The British Empire" arc. It was something, alright. On Sherlock and Watson's end, it begins exactly like Doyle's famous "A Scandal In Bohemia" story, but immediately twists it when we see that the young Bohemian king actually IS Irene Adler, not merely an actress but a master of disguise here! From there we see Sherlock and Irene develop a different sort of relationship that's half cat-and-mouse and half legit friendship, we meet Mycroft Holmes and learn that he's after Irene to get back a stolen letter that, if released to the public, could drive all of Britain into turmoil, and things get even more complicated with the involvement of the now notorious "Lord of Crime", who in actuality is of course the James Moriarty Brothers, with Albert playing the double role of Mycroft's main agent and the "James Moriarty" representing the Lord of Crime to Irene and Sherlock. It's all very fun and endlessly intriguing, but it builds to the biggest absolute bombshells in this series to date. In sucession: a member of the Holmes family, ancestor of Sherlock and Mycroft, was the true identity of the revolutionary Maximilien Robespierre who incited and influenced the French Revolution on Britain's behalf and who died in a Zero Requiem gambit to end all the carnage he'd started. The James Moriarty Brothers knew this and were inspired by it in their own plan to tear down the corrupt aristocracy of Britain, kill all the worst nobles, force the remaining nobles and commonfolk into cooperation and aid to each other in a crisis situation so that co-existence and equality can become easier, help the government and monarchy make reforms so that British society can be remade as a meritocracy that can influence the rest of the world, and ultimately, Liam will have to play the common evil that unites everyone and who has to give his life to the cause's completion in the end. And last but certainly not least, Irene Adler fakes her own death because what she'd wanted all along was to assume a new identity, one that makes the transition from female to male, and as he does so by joining the James Moriarty family in bond, his new name....is James Bond!!
