N E S R Y N ' S   S T O R Y

Nesryn Kynthea was born on the 22nd of Second Seed.  She is the third of five children to parents Sreda Ydany and Karthis Kynthea.  Nesryn was raised alongside four other siblings in a village in northeast Eurylithe.  She became close to her two older brothers, Evrild and Istran, and insisted on tagging along with them whenever they went hunting in the woods surrounding their family’s modest home.  She was trained by Evrild and Istran to use knives and a bow, the latter of which she became proficient in with years and years of practice. When she became of age, Nesryn’s parents sought out a husband for her - a local man from a neighboring village. She had never shown much interest in getting married and starting a family, but agreed to be wed in order to appease her parents.   During her engagement, Nesryn quickly came to the realization that she was not attracted to men upon spending time with her fiancé’s sister, whom she became infatuated with. Unable to marry someone she was disinterested in, Nesryn made the decision to break off the engagement, despite knowing it would break her parents’ hearts.  Surprisingly, they were understanding and offered their unconditional support in all of her life’s endeavors. Shortly after this, she took up a position as a courier, which allowed her to explore the world outside of her village.  Her work oftentimes takes her through the Vale, but occasionally leads her elsewhere.  She also carries her father’s goods to sell on her journeys in order to bring her family additional income.
