i don’t think nerdjo is shy and stuttery and awkward tbh like nerdjo is defo more blunt and brash, band kid coded. he has a binder full of digimon cards and rages on 12 year olds in fortnite on the weekends. sure he’s socially inept but in the way that he has 0 concept of social cues and will 1000% say something rude without a second guess. and he’s defo one of those nerds that thinks drinking and partying is waste of time he absolutely bashes on shoko and suguru for it. so when you try and invite him out for a drink (because you think he’s soooo cute and just need to get to know him more) your heart is absolutely shattered when he replies with something like “why would i waste my time with something like that”. (T ^ T) so you slink back thinking that you’ve fumbled your shot until one day you don’t show up to class and the next time you do come to class you get an earful of how irresponsible skipping your 8am just to get an extra hour of sleep is from none other than the nerd himself. you’re left speechless because just who does this guy think he is??? you’re left even more without words when he tosses a set of papers your way with an eye roll and a “here a made an extra copy of lecture notes for you”. he really needs to get better at showing that he likes you.

A/N: I’m so sorry for my lack of activeness. please forgive me🙏🙏 I’ve had so much stuff with school and yesterday was my birthday so my schedule has been packed. I wanted to give you guys something small for now so my accounts not collecting dust, but i promise more will be coming in days prior!! Love you all!💕

Nerd!Gojo who is still completely shocked you chose him out of everyone on campus. Gojo was a known geek, someone who got excited about the latest comic and his grades never fell below an A+. Well lucky for him, you found the fact he was so nerdy to be extremely cute.

Nerd!Gojo who loves planning adorable dates with you, but it’s never commonplace. He will set up picnics right in front of a beautiful lake, taking you to a pottery class and giggling at how dumb your ‘masterpieces’ look, or simply creating a candlelight dinner in your apartment.

Nerd!Gojo who adores you and he makes it extremely known. For someone so shy when the two of you first met, he definitely has warmed up to you. Before, he was too scared to even stand next to you because he was afraid he would slip up and embarrass himself, but now he never leaves your side. You can’t exit the same room with him without giving him a long kiss goodbye, even if you're just grabbing ice from the hallway. Hugs, kisses, handholding, cuddles, you name it, Gojo loves it.

Nerd!Gojo who isn’t the best at taking care of himself. He often stays up late to finish homework or a project that could easily be done the next day, but unfortunately he’s a try hard and will force himself to stay awake until it’s done. Before you, he relied on energy drinks to keep him up and when all of the work was done, he would sleep the weekend away, barely leaving his dorm. Even now, you have to scold him for his unhealthy studying habits.

You were peacefully chatting with your friends, going on about the tests and assignments being piled on top of each other. As you spoke, your group’s eyes shift behind you, but you couldn’t turn before two lanky arms were sliding around your waist. Soft lips gently landed on your exposed neck and in your peripheral vision you saw a puff of white hair. Of course it was Gojo. Your friends did not hold back their cheeky looks, some of them turning and looking off in another direction while muffaling their giggles.

Blush rose to your cheeks instantly and you heard your boyfriend speak up,”Hi Baby.” He’s obviously tired, his voice groggier than normal, but he still has the energy to cover you in his love. You shift your body to face him, cupping his cheek, and you get a good look at his face. Like you expected, he looks on the brink of passing out. His usually bright eyes were a bit dimmer and there were vague shadows coating his under eyes. His own hand reached up and held the one of his face, turning his head to plant tiny kisses to your palm.

“Have you been sleeping?” Gojo sees the disappointed frown on your face, because you already knew the answer. He sighed, leaning into your touch,”Maybe.” The short response was enough to finalize your question. It didn’t help that he had shut his eyes and was practically sleeping against your palm. Turning to your friends, you excused yourself, dragging a half-asleep Gojo on your side the entire time you left.

Nerd!Gojo who knows he should listen to your stern lectures on why he needs to stop doing all nighters, but even if he felt like shit after, without fail the two of you would cuddle on his bed and take a long cat nap. You were never as tired as Gojo, so most of the time you would be awake, reading, or scrolling on your phone, while Gojo slept soundly on your lap.

Nerd!Gojo who may or may not do your homework if you leave it out. He tells himself he shouldn’t, since you tell him it’s not his responsibility to do your own work, but he can’t help it. You’re his girlfriend after all and it would be mean of Gojo to not fill out the first half of the paper and maybe the back half if he has time. (He does it regardless)

Nerd!Gojo who nearly cries when you get him a figurine of his favorite superhero character. He constantly gushes about how cool they are and doesn’t notice how you aren’t even listening to the topic, just focusing on how his eyes light up with pure joy. You have adapted to Gojo’s interest, never denying a trip to the movies with him to see a new action film he has been freaking out about. Holidays are like Gojo’s heaven because you always end up getting him another item for his very large collection. Each time you are smothered in kisses then dragged to his room to watch him rearrange his overcrowded stock.

Nerd!Gojo who is so thankful for you and some nights, wakes up to watch you sleep calmly. His fingers rake over your face and images of your future together flash in his head.

you had been staring at your laptop screen for hours, trying to find something, anything, that could help with your psychology project that your professor assigned last minute. the more you scrolled on endless websites and youtube videos the less you found and the more stuff didn’t make sense. after a deep breath and a frustrated sigh, you grabbed you closed your laptop and made your way on campy from your dormitory to the university’s library, hoping that the books there could offer something more useful.

the scent of books filed the air as you wandered through the aisles, scanning titles, but it wasn’t until you reached the very back that you saw it — the book you’d been desperately trying to find pngs of: The Effects of Noise on Man. just as your hand was reaching for it another hand grabbed it first. you turned to see who grabbed it, an annoyed expression creeping onto your face as you looked at the man who snatched your book.

he was tall, with snowy white hair and a lean build, his glasses crooked on his nose. he was already flipping through the pages, completely absorbed as though he’d discovered the secret to endless wealth. “hey,” you said, your voice tight with frustration. he didn’t seem to hear you—or he chose to ignore you—because he kept turning the pages, not even sparing a glance in your direction.

“excuse me, i’m talking to you,” you said, a little louder this time, still trying to keep your voice down in the quiet library. finally, the man turned his head toward you, his mouth slightly agape. he looked you up and down, making you cross your arms over your chest. what was his problem?

“sorry… did you say something?” he asked, his tone a bit distant. “yeah, i was going to say that i wanted that book,” you replied, your eyes flicking to the one he was holding so casually in his hands. “this?” he said, following your gaze and holding the book out in front of him.

“yes, that book! i was about to grab it when you snatched it from me,” you said, still irritated. you were running on five hours of sleep and a can of coke—you couldn’t help but be a little pissy.

“i didn’t snatch it,” he responded calmly. “it was on that shelf. i snatched it from the shelf, not from you.” he pointed to the spot where the book had been. “besides, i got it first,” he added, tucking the book back under his arm and turning to walk away. “wait,” you called out, stepping forward. he turned around with an eyebrow raised, and for the first time, you really noticed how striking his blue eyes were. but that wasn’t the point.

“i really need that book,” you said, your tone more polite now, almost desperate. “please?” you added, your voice softer, hoping he’d reconsider. he stared at you for a moment, as if weighing your words. the silence between you stretched for a bit, and you couldn’t tell if he was considering your request or just enjoying the fact that he had the upper hand. finally, he sighed, looking down at the book in his hands.

“look, i’ve been trying to get my hands on this for weeks,” he said, almost like he was talking to himself. “and now that i have it, i’m not exactly in a hurry to let it go.” you fought to keep your patience. “i get it, but i really need it for this project. i’m stuck and this is the last piece i need.” he glanced at you again, his expression softening just a little. “what’s the project about?” “psychology,” you replied quickly. “something about how noise affects humans, but all the online sources are garbage. i need a real quote from this book.”

he hummed thoughtfully, still holding it close to his chest. then, without warning, he raised an eyebrow. “how about this? we make a deal.” you frowned. “a deal?” “yeah.” he shifted the book to one hand, offering you a teasing smile. “you can have it for a week, but then it’s mine for a week. sound fair?” you thought for a moment, feeling both relieved and a little irritated at his smug attitude. but honestly, it was your best option. “fine, but you’re not gonna keep it forever, right?” he chuckled, his blue eyes glinting. “promise. but i’m not letting go of it just yet.”

you nodded, still a bit wary, but relieved that you at least had a plan. “deal,” you said, holding out your hand. he looked at it for a moment, then shook it firmly, his grip warm but somehow still carrying that casual confidence. “great,” he said, tucking the book under his arm. “i’ll bring it to the library in a week. just don’t lose it, alright?”

you rolled your eyes but smiled. “i’ll keep it safe.” he turned to walk away, but then paused, glancing over his shoulder. “by the way,” he said, a mischievous glint in his eyes. “i’m satoru.” you blinked, caught off guard by the sudden introduction. “uh, y/n,” you replied, feeling slightly awkward. he gave you a nod, then walked off, leaving you standing there with your thoughts swirling. was this how things usually went when you needed a book for a project? probably not.

the week dragged on, and you found yourself counting down the days until you could finally get your hands on the book again. in the meantime, you worked on your project, doing your best with what you had. but every time you hit a dead end, you couldn’t help but think of that book, sitting just out of reach.

when the day finally came, you made your way back to the library, hoping to catch gojo and get your hands on the effects of noise on man. you didn’t know why you were feeling so nervous about it, but there was something about him that made you second-guess yourself. maybe it was the way he casually handled the book like it was some sort of prized possession. or maybe it was the fact that you were about to face him again after that first strange interaction.

as you walked through the aisles, you spotted him near the back, flipping through a different book. his snowy hair was even messier today, and his glasses were sitting crookedly on his nose again.

“hey,” you called out, walking up to him.

he looked up, and that familiar, teasing smile crept across his face. “hey, y/n. didn’t think you’d actually show up.” you crossed your arms, fighting the urge to roll your eyes. “you really think i was just going to leave the book with you?”

“well, i mean… i wouldn’t blame you if you did,” he said with a playful shrug, holding out the book toward you. “but here you go. i kept it safe.” you took it from him, feeling a little bit lighter now that it was finally back in your hands. “thanks,” you muttered, feeling a little awkward.

“no problem.” he looked at you for a moment, then his eyes darted to the book in your hands. “so, what’s the project about again?”

you sighed, brushing a lock of hair behind your ear. “it’s about how noise affects people. you wouldn’t believe how hard it is to find anything useful. this book is like the only thing that’s going to help me.” “sounds boring,” he said bluntly, his expression unbothered. “but hey, at least you’ll be able to say you did something good for society.” you couldn’t help but laugh a little. “i guess.”

“alright, well,” he said, stepping back and stretching. “it was nice doing business with you, y/n. just remember, you’ve got to bring it back in a week, or i’m coming after you.” “deal,” you said, offering him a smile. “i’ll be back, don’t worry.” as you walked away with the book, you couldn’t shake the feeling that this wasn’t just some random encounter.

the next week came by faster than you expected, and before you knew it, you were heading back to the library to return the book. you’d managed to get a good amount of work done, but you couldn’t deny the curiosity you had about gojo. he’d been on your mind more than you cared to admit, even though you hadn’t exactly planned for that.

when you walked into the library, you spotted him in the same spot, buried in a stack of books. he looked up as you approached, and that same mischievous grin flashed across his face. “back so soon?” he asked, raising an eyebrow. you held out the book to him. “it’s yours,” you said, trying to sound casual, but your heart was beating a little faster than usual.

he took the book with a smile. “thanks. so, did you actually use it for your project, or was it just an excuse to come see me again?” he teased. you rolled your eyes, but couldn’t hide the small smile creeping up your face. “i did use it, actually. and if you keep saying things like that, you’re going to make me regret it.”

“oh, i’m sure you’ll survive.” he chuckled, looking at the book in his hands before turning back to you. “so, how’s the project coming along?” “good,” you said, crossing your arms. “i think i’ll actually finish it on time. what about you? you still planning on hoarding all the best books around here?”

he shrugged nonchalantly. “well, someone has to make sure they don’t go missing.” you smirked. “right. so, what exactly are you majoring in, anyway? history, i’m guessing?”

his eyes twinkled. “yeah, history. i know, kind of a nerdy choice, right?” “kind of,” you agreed with a teasing grin. “what’s so interesting about history anyway?” he leaned back, a thoughtful expression crossing his face. “history’s all about learning from the past, y’know? understanding how we got to where we are now. it’s like a puzzle. plus, there are so many cool stories no one ever tells you about.”

“sounds pretty fascinating,” you said, genuinely intrigued. “so, what’s your favorite period in history?”

he smirked. “now that’s a tough one. but if i had to pick, i’d say ancient civilizations. the Egyptians were onto something.”

you both laughed, and for a moment, it felt like a real conversation. like you were actually getting to know each other. then, just as you were about to say something else, he looked at you with a strange glint in his eye. “you know,” he said casually, “i actually finished the book the first week i had it.”

“what?” you blinked, surprised. “but then why did you keep it?” he shrugged, a teasing glint in his eyes. “i just wanted an excuse to keep coming back here. thought i might see you again.” you blinked, taken aback by his honesty. and maybe, just a little bit, by the way his words made your heart skip. “you’re not as bad as i thought,” you said, shaking your head in mock disbelief.

“glad to hear it,” he said, holding your gaze for a moment before his smile softened. “you know,” he said, tapping the book lightly in his hands, “since i finished the book, it’s all yours to have now.” “really?” you raised an eyebrow, surprised. “you’re just giving it to me?”

he shrugged nonchalantly, a faint smile playing on his lips. “why not? i already read it. and besides, you’re gonna need it more than i do.” you hesitated, still a little taken aback by how casual he was being about it. “well, thanks. i didn’t expect that.”

“no problem,” he said, then paused, as if considering something. “hey, when you’re done with your project… maybe we could grab lunch or something. i mean, we’ve been talking about this book for a while, and it’d be nice to actually talk in person—no pressure or anything.”

you blinked, caught off guard by the sudden invitation. “lunch?”

“yeah,” he said, his smile widening a bit. “i figure we can discuss the book… or, you know, talk about whatever. no rush.” you bit your lip, trying to ignore the flutter in your chest. this felt… unexpected, but also a little exciting. “uh, sure. that sounds good,” you said, trying to sound casual, but not quite pulling it off.

he grinned, clearly pleased with your response. “cool. just let me know when you’re done, and we’ll set it up. you nodded, not sure what to make of the sudden shift in the conversation. but there was no denying that you were curious to see where this would go.

nerdjo! who’s ready to criticize you for your every mistake. write a letter too low on the line? he’s already opening his god-forsaken mouth to tease you about it. miss a full stop? he’s ready to give you a 20 minute lecture on just how important punctuation is, period.

nerdjo! who, for the first time in his life is unable to focus on the lesson. his gaze keeps travelling across the room, to you. cheek leaning against his palm. he feels the world around him just stop. his ears blocking out every noise except the sound of your discreet laughter—what the hell is he doing?

nerdjo! who thought the beating clutch of his heart was his strong desire for you to exit this mortal realm whenever you scored higher than him, was actually his brain giving him countless hints he’s into you—how could someone be so smart yet so stupid at the same time?

nerdjo! who feels his chest tighten whenever you get a bit too close to ‘make sure he’s not slacking off on the project’, ( he wasn’t oblivious to you constantly checking him out ). the blush that creeps right under his glasses is quite cute, though.

nerdjo studies in either physics, something science related along w/ combining math as his major (or maybe both physics and math, pretty much as a quantitative analyst in a way)

he'd be the one w/ both the brains and the looks (he may not know this), he'd be smug over what he knows and the more knowledge he has despite being a huge flustered mess over his crush (aka you, y/n.)

his room would be filled w/ his digimon collection, figurines, posters plastered up on the walls that contain his interests, whatever he's studying in, motivation type stuff, pretty much anything to make it cool and cozy for him.

nerdjo helps you out w/ studying that he becomes your tutor on the subject you desperately need help in (+ failing at the same time)

nerdjo would also be the type to give you a mini test on your knowledge, juuuuust to make sure you were paying attention to what he was saying (mind you, he knows a lot more about) so it'd be his own version of trivia night but it's the subject at hand, if you get it correct, he rewards you w/ something of his choosing. if you get it wrong, he'd get all cocky while poking fun at you in the most playful way imaginable.

he'd get flustered when he gets the chance to see you (almost all the time for the study sessions) that his glasses practically almost fall off however does manage to put them back on in the right place

!! especially when you try pretty much anything and i mean ANYTHING to get him to react like this such as giving him sweet kisses, wrapping your arms around him while he's trying to explain how to solve the problem at hand, cupping his face gently, etc., he tries to contain himself during these sessions to the point of becoming nervous/embarrassed from it that you find it adorable that you'd want to do that more often.

also on the topic of him trying to remain calm in front of you, he'd do the same thing over the possibility of doing something way more intimate w/ you than just holding hands, hugging, kissing, that sort of stuff. he'd also jolt from the touch of your fingers on his neck to the point of his whole body shivering.

he'd focus so much on what's he’s reading about, studying or rather what's in front of him while he's sitting (especially w/ having his legs crossed over or stretching out), having the pencil tucked between his ear or placing it in his mouth, even readjusting his glasses from time to time as well, however forgets and almost lets them fall off before picking them up.

nerdjo also gets eyebags due to the amount of studying, assignments, homework and projects and lack of sleep he has to the point that he ends up falling asleep at his desk w/ the book replacing a pillow instead.

he definitely has a sleeper build, he reveals it to you after walking through the rain w/ him to where you'd end up in his room filled w/ merchandise of his interests, it'd feel like you witnessed a sculpture come to life.

nerdjo as your boyfriend would be super sweet + caring towards you, still helping you w/ assignments and study for exams. he'd take you on dates to the aquarium, the arcade, any sweets shop for that matter, just to make the two of you happy and to have some relief from all the schoolwork.

NERD!MEGUMI who totally has an rbf, but is so, so gentle when he explains complicated biology concepts to you. he acts all annoyed when you say you don't undertstand, like 'were you not paying attention during the lecture?' or 'i'm pretty sure we learnt this back in junior high'. but his voice is calm and steady as he walks you through it - no condescension, just quiet patience hidden behind his sharp words. behind that cool facade he projects in front of everyone else, you see genuine warmth in his eyes - his eyes that you see soften slightly when you thank him for his help.

NERD!YUTA who doesn't wear his glasses to class because he doesn't want to be made fun of for how they look on him. they're a beautiful tortoiseshell pair, sitting perfectly on the bridge of his nose, accentuating his deep blue eyes. at least, that's what you observe from staring at him for prolonged periods of time. one day you're studying with him in the library, and his glasses slip down his face. without a second thought, you extend your hand to push them up with your index, your thumb accidentally brushing his cheek. he turns red almost immediately, and you can't help but smile.

NERD!GOJO who is annoyingly confident in his own abilities. always the first to say his piece in class discussions, always the first hand in the air when there's a question to be answered. when you've had enough, and mutter something under your breath about him being an insufferable know-it-all, he turns to you with a teasing glint in his eyes. "aw, don’t be jealous. i can tutor you if you want," he offers, resting his chin on his hand, a lazy smirk playing at his lips. "though, fair warning - you might fall for me in the process. happens all the time."

NERD!GETO who is somehow the most chill and laid-back guy you've ever met. and since you almost never see him study, you wonder sometimes how he's managed to get to where he is today. all that wondering comes to an end when you're paired up with him for a chem project, sitting across from him in his living room as you stare at him blankly. he looks so different - raven hair tied up in a messy bun instead of its usual neat ponytail, humming to himself as he taps a pencil against the seam of his plush lips. he's in deep thought, clearly. truly, he's got it all; brains, brawn, and no small amount of quiet charm.
