Just because some identity is contradictory to you doesn't mean it can't make sense. Actually, nuanced identities are often contradictory when you know the basics of it, ignoring all details and complexity a multilabeled or combined identity can be.
If you think cisgender nonbinary people can't have a definition bc then it would describe someone who is not cis, then you're in the wrong bc just cause something describes you it doesn't mean it applies or include you bc the identity requires self-identification as well.
Same goes for bi lesbian, demisexual, or lesboy, you 'are technically lesboy' (/demi/lunian) but refuses to label yourself as such? Cool then you're not/don't experience that identity 🤯 and that's okay. But to imply anyone with such identity are not that thing bc it can't exist, then you're being a reality denier, bc ppl with such identities exist regardless if you recognize them or not. For instance, just bc someone uses ungrammatical conlangs doesn't mean that language can't exist. In fact, it's written already and it's on you if you're gonna cry or ignore.
Also transhet people are allowed to be nonbinary; binaryn't transfems/transmascs are allowed to be hetero due to their alignment, presentation, AGAB, or any other typical reason.

gendercrits with no experience of trans/nonbinary identity, detransition/desistance etc, while perfectly able to make observations on misogyny, homophobia and racism in TQ+ circles...just inherently don't seem to "get" how differing trans and nonbinary communities view gender, and make a lot of damaging assumptions and judgement errors along the way
there's no way to stop this, everyone has their own opinions after all. but it's frustrating to see, as someone who has gone from being a "trans women are women" no-debate neoqueer to being a radfem. and no doubt it's much much worse for detransitioners, bearing the brunt of most of these presumptions
equally though, it's infuriating - as a former member of the queerios club - to see self-identified queers pulling the whole "that never happens" trick. don't bullshit me, kid, i was there, i witnessed it, i experienced it lol. guess the gays can just never win 🤷♀️
#radblr#gender critical#i tried to be as nonspecific as possible#bc it's not really my call to say what is and isn't a fair judgement or observation#but i just feel this huge empathy gap#and while i don't think gender criticism should be wrapped in marshmallows to make it more appealing#i do think those with no experience with anything or anyone trans/nb/adjacent#need to do a lot more listening and a lot less generalising#fwiw i don't call myself a desister but like...i was looking up ftn surgery at one stage so yeah i guess i technically am

I saw a Twitter post where a 20 year old posted a screenshot of a 55 year old man's Grindr profile for hitting on them.
Which, like, yeah, it's gross to be hit on by men who are significantly older than you, I mean I joined Grindr when I was 18, and I had all these dudes of all ages hitting on me, but at least I had the decency to never like... Post their face pic on a public forum?
