The wait is finally over... 1984. The world has spiralled out of control. For eighteen years after the destruction of the Third World War, the world has enjoyed a nonetheless uneasy proxy peace, and the Soviets, having triumphed over the Mujahideen in Afghanistan, rule a third of the earth’s surface with an iron fist. War has evolved through the application of technology, to the point where super weapons are the new order, and these super weapons come on the form of elite soldiers, the NATO units organic and the Warsaw Pact mechanical. Battles are fought between Phantoms and Avtomats in the shadows, shifting the course of history more than once in a lifetime. One such soldier, a Rhodesian-born young man named Drake V. Overton, defects from the Soviet Union and becomes a mercenary for hire. This is the story of Drake’s adventures as a globe-trotting soldier of fortune, hoping to keep his dark past hidden. A glimpse at some stuff I’ve been cooking up over the last three days, along with a delightful little monoprint created two weeks ago at @theartfactorysupportedstudio !!! In news, I am delighted to announce that #nemisisthejadedmillennium has been fully recorded and edited, pending release on #2aaa (fingers crossed 🤞). Now all that needs doing are some interviews with the media and organising a wild launch party! (My favourite part!) In other news, I am equally delighted to announce that I have already started writing up drafts for Season 2 of #nemisistheradioseries under the title of NEMISIS: THE SUN OF MAY! I have completed episodes 7 & 8 and am now working on 9.
