I remember many years ago when "n3k0p4r4" was still a small franchise, I only knew of the two cat girls, the duo Chocola and Vanilla, and there was spicy mature manga of it drawn by the artist named “Sayori” . (I was a teen back then).

I remember when Neko para was still known under the name “𝓷𝓮𝓴𝓸 𝓹𝓪𝓻𝓪𝓭𝓲𝓼𝓮” or "n3k0p4r4" (all in one, no spacing) and it was an online spicy mature manga comic series aka OCs of Sayori.

I may be wrong, but from what I remember, Chocola and Vanilla used to be not so well known over a decade ago, but they’ve existed for 15 years to this date which I can tell from a post I found (on yande.re) of one of Sayori’s illustrations of Chocola and Vanilla.

Chocola and Vanilla were two of my favorite characters aka I loved the work Sayori drew of them. And it still baffles me how well-known they’ve become. All the games that were published and even an anime.

Now, it’s one of the more well-known anime and video games. I was so surprised to see a video game of it being published back in 2014. That was quite a while ago, a decade to be precise, but my mind was blown.

I usually just see innocent anime screenshots/gifs/pics or cute stickers of the Nekopara characters, but when I check out Sayori’s work, I find all the spicy artwork that I always knew 𝓷𝓮𝓴𝓸 𝓹𝓪𝓻𝓪𝓭𝓲𝓼𝓮 aka Chocola and Vanilla for.

I never played the video game (now I also cant play it cos I have a macbook). But I guess Neko para could still be considered h**tai, even if the anime isn’t that, the video game still is.

I feel very nostalgic. I was a teen when I discovered Chocola and Vanilla. I do want to and will focus on staying on legal terms tho. If it’s lewd, then only aged up ladies of full age.

Top 10 VN Men

Ages ago @violettduchess posted her Top 10 VN datemates who happened to be men. This seemed fun, so let's give it awhirl!

I will, of course, break the rules. Instead of numbering 1 to 10, I'll choose one man from each visual novel I've played or stalked hard enough that it's like I've played. So, with no order in my heart ~

The Arcana: Muriel

I surprised myself here. I like Julian quite a lot. However, I actually enjoyed his route less once I went back and bought the paywalled scenes (how???). For Muriel, it was the reverse: during my initial read, I was exasperated with him. After reading all the paywalled scenes, his character growth grew on me, and gentle mountain man edges out Julian in my affections. By a cat hair lol.

This was also a hard choice because I like Jesse Rodriguez so much y'all. However, Rainier's character arc, his bubbly positivity, his looks, his concept--SO GOOD Y'ALL.

Alice in the Country of Hearts: Julius Monrey

Whooooooa. Shock. Appalled. Who could have seen this coming. I also like Boris and Elliot. I'm watching a Let's Play of Blood's route right now, and he's growing on me. The manga really did him dirty.

Ikemen Revolution: Loki Genetta

I love Loki's sunshine! Reading his route was like settling into a bath, into that easy, warm time-flow of happiness. Also. His eyes turn red and he can obliterate people.

Ikemen Vampire: William Shakespeare

Billy Shakes is like, a nanosecond behind Jean. I love his words, I love his journey; I love MC being his morality pet. I had a blast with his route and took soooooo many screenshots.

Lovelink: Min-Jae Lee

Lovelink isn't my favorite app out there, mostly because the MC drives me up the wall. Routes can be touch and go. But with Min-Jae, something fucking CLICKED. Despite not accessing any paywalled content, he constantly emoji-reacted to my responses. His story was a thoughtful and compelling look into a K-Pop star's life: both the massive perks and the massive toxicity in that space. I definitely rec'd his route, or that of his counterpart, Liam Park.

Rose of Winter - Crow

This entry accesses the Deep Lore. Rose of Winter was the first visual novel I played. Ever. Not only is Crow a kind, time-traveling wizard (cool bird included), but also the first route I got a Good Ending. Nowadays, I follow walkthroughs 90% of the time, because I play for a happy time, not a sad time. When I played Rose of Winter, I didn't know VNs had different endings. I played the other 3 routes, and the LIs kept leaving. The joy I felt when Crow returned Rosemary's affections! When they tromped off in the sunset together! I was so happy. I never went back to get his Bad Ending, even though there's an achievement for it. I love him. I love them.

What have we learned in this post? We have learned that I like catboys, queerness, and time-travelers. Also, I can't play any more VNs because it would ruin the perfect 10 number these guys fit in 😂

i currently mod over on a discord server that user marko (vasoconstriction) was briefly apart of, and liam (2ruru) who joined but was subsequently banned the same day, along with marko.

this is not specifically a callout post, moreso a warning post because marko is incredibly hypocritical and the people hes friends with are worrying.

marko had said he was allowed to joke about a minor because he was almost their age (15 vs 18), stated he was excited about ncov and the subsequent crashing of the stock market (this is more towards a post he reblogged post-banning) and says he hates lolicon but follows a friend who posts borderline lolicon; (UPDATE 4/8 — posted an image from a lolicon visual novel) and has posted naked, presumed underage, anime girls.

i will admit when i found a screenshot of the "hamilton miku binder" user i posted it to make fun of, until i realized that op was a minor. as an adult i do not feel right making fun of minors so i deleted the message and said i did not want to continue joking. another user, 18, said they were also not comfortable joking about a minor so the conversation was ended. marko then came on maybe 2 or so hours later.

for further context: nagito komaeda is cited to be in his early twenties for only a minor portion of the game, danganronpa 2: goodbye despair. his neo world avatar, which is the ingame simulation that takes up almost the entirety of dr2, is at best 16 or 17 years old, and that is who we see a majority of the time.

additionally, another mod took the liberty of looking up the mousepad in question, and it does in fact depict his teen self.

our server has a sensitive topics channel which users can opt into. these were posted in said channel. at the time i kept it muted so these are not my screenshots, but another users.

while everyone is anxious about ncov and openly post their anxities and fears, marko enters the chat and states this

marko has two friends. tumblr user liam 2ruru and another named rami.

on 03/12/2020 marko asked if he could invite his friends. the admin, K (who asked to be censored in the screenshots) agreed and two people were added to the server.

rami was immediately banned due to their killing stalking icon. pretty much everyone was upset over the fact this person was basically promoting a story where rape, abuse and homophobia are glorified. stating this because K asked marko first about the icon and he replied he knew nothing about it, which is odd considering these are his friends. you tend to know whats going on with your friends, especially if they happen to be apart of a disgusting series like killing stalking.

we were very much on edge at this point, and in our moderator exclusive channels, decided to view liams blog 2ruru, which he publically posted in the introduction

what prompted me to finish this post is the fact that of 04/08/20, liam had reblogged a screenshot from a visual novel. while that isnt very weird in animecore, its the fact the main girl on the screen does not look of age and also does not look fully clothed.

while you cannot know the source of everything ever, it took me 30 seconds to reverse image search and find the source material. which is a visual novel called "sleeping sister" and whole story is about a brother who touches his adoptive sister while she sleeps. if it took me 30 seconds to find the source, itll take you 30 seconds to make sure youre not reblogging awful content.

as no pedos/maps should cover lolicon, it's interesting markos friend liam posts such stuff and marko continues to follow him.

as stated this is a hesitant callout post because while none of these are extreme acts, its very unnerving to see how hypocritical these two are.

liam 2ruru is still posting lolicon. in fact, he changed his theme on desktop, making his sidebar image a picture which was previously brought up in the discussion to ban him.

And boy, it’s a long one.

AnimeDakimakuraPillow (also known as ADP) is the most famous bootlegger of anime body pillows in the Western sphere. This is the company you’ll always see when you look up the keywords “__ dakimakura” and/or “__ anime body pillow,” in which the blanks represent a franchise or character.

They’re also known for reaching out to YouTubers who base their brand on anime to review their subpar products. The cases and inner pillows they send to these reviewers are better quality than one’s you’re more likely to receive when actually ordering them.

My Experience

Two years ago I ordered one of their grand Siberian inner pillows, and paid extra money to have it stuffed more so that it doesn’t flop around like in the review videos.

These are the options I chose. $120 total. The one I received was... disappointing. It was as floppy as it would’ve been if I hadn’t paid the extra $20 for more stuffing.

Proof of price difference:

I apologize that I don’t have pictures of the pillow; it was 2 years ago, as I mentioned, and I wasn’t aware of ADP’s thievery and fraudulent business until the middle of 2019.

ADP’s History of Stealing Designs:

It came to my attention mid-2019 that ADP frequently steals designs from daki artists via low resolution screenshots they take from, say, Google images or the original product site, and tracing over the lines for sharper printing. Here’s an example of them tracing someone else’s work:

Here’s their full watermark on one of the other products on their site shown below.

Sayori is the artist behind the Nekopara games, and subsequently the artist of their merch the company they work for (Denpasoft) releases to promote the games.

It’s been discussed on the Dakimakuras discord chat that Cuddly Octopus has given NO consent for this design to be sold on their store. CO commissions these artists like the Ayul shown above to create designs for their shop.
