why do poodle/lab mutt owners love letting their dogs loose unsupervised in their yards so they can go bite and bark at other dogs. like ajax would do this too if we let him loose which is why he is never let loose he is always supervised and we just do not put him in positions where he gets the chance to do that shit because its. irresponsible especially if you have a dog that you KNOW doesnt like other dogs. your dog does not need to run loose they do not need to be tied up in the FRONT yard to get really close to the sidewalk and all the people walking by and if youre too lazy to supervise them you can literally just keep them inside like its not hard

yes i do dislike "doodles" because i think mixing coat types is bad and i think theyre ugly AND i think their owners tend to be on the obnoxious side but im mostly using that as an excuse bc the only 2 dogs to ever bite ajax (AND our late dog argus who, unlike ajax, was entirely submissive and never so much as growled at another dog in his entire life and literally cowered on the floor if you looked at him wrong) were BOTH labradoodles and i have a vendetta now

#other bad experiences ive had with dogs are as follows #neighbors pit bull they also didnt tie up who thought that me walking down the road (no sidewalk) was a threat 2 his property #great dane looking dog who ALSO was not fenced in OR tied up and who growled at me when i tried to walk down again the ROAD to get back to #my HOUSE and my parents had to come pick me up in their car bc i was like 14 #neighbors TWO chow chows who got loose one day while i was walking home from school were roaming the neighborhood and i tried to knock on #the neighbors door to let him know but THAT WAS ME BEING AN INTRUDER and the dogs only let up when i backed away from THAT ENTIRE SIDE OF #THE SIDEWALK. i didnt even get close to the neighbors porch #and they also didnt want me walking down the other sidewalk to my house so i had to walk thru a neighbors yard lmaooo #other experiences were a neighbors gshep that ALSO GOT LOOSE and was literally standing in the middle of the street w a dead end behind me #i had ajax when he was a puppy then so i literally just picked him up and walked the other direction LOL #also some experiences of people letting their dogs run up to me seeing me grab ajaxs scruff and block eye contact w my body and going #'oh hes friendly' WELL THIS ONE IS NOT ESPECIALLY WHEN UNLEASHED DOGS ARE RUNNING UP TO HIM #also experiences where ajax has been the asshole dog bc my parents ALSO LIKE TO LET HIM OUTSIDE WITHOUT WATCHING HIM. WHAT IS WRONG WITH YO #U #HES LITERALLY LIKE THIS *BECAUSE* OF EXPERIENCES HE HAD BECAUSE YOU WERENT WATCHING HIM. HE WASNT BORN REACTIVE #LIKE. LEAST YOU COULD DO IS WATCH HIMMMMMMMMMMM #also we have a neighbor with a yorkie looking thing that like #they walk. through the neighborhood back and forth. every day #and the thing barks CONSTANTLY. THE ENTIRE TIME. FRANTIC 'I AM GOING TO BITE AND AM VERY STRESSED' BARKING #STRAINING ON ITS LEASH. the thing sounds miserable and they do this every single time and you can hear it all the way down the street #every time it sees another dog in the windows of a house it gets even worse #luckily ajax is used to it now and MAYBE will growl at it once he hears it bark but still #dude oh my god #ajax is an LGD and while he WONT run off on people he does get freaked out if he feels like #he had to guard his flock / home #which is why he needs to be SUPERVISEDDDDDDDDDDDD #especially if another dog approaches him in HIS yard and then acts aggressively towards him
