Did Isayama really say Erwin would be a NEET in a world without Titans, or was that just him showcasing his humour? Because I can definitely see Levi or Eren as NEETS, but Erwin? 😭

Isayama did indeed draw NEETwin, but it's very much tongue in cheek. This is one of six “What If?” illustrations that Isayama drew for the Shingeki no Kyojin Inside & Outside Guidebooks in 2014. The other illustrations feature Levi as a chef and kindergarten teacher, Annie and Mikasa as cage fighters, Eren and Jean doing standup comedy, and Sasha, Connie and Reiner in a band. They're all hilarious but not to be taken seriously.

I have to confess that my mind is absolutely boggling at the idea of Levi lazing around like this. I can't imagine anyone less likely to frittering their time away doing nothing that Levi!

Rereading @lustfulcat's GamerWin for the fifty-leventh time...I love unique AUs like this. It's Eruri (Erwin x Levi).

Plot: After suddenly losing his job, Levi accepts a gig cleaning the landlady's apartment . The problem: the place is filthy because of her reclusive, gaming-obsessed son Erwin.

Erwin was in the living room reading a manga while eating chips, a few chip bags were already on the floor. Erwin had on sweat suit and was absolutely comfortable, he relaxed half the day away.

Erwin, has been doing this for a few months.

Erwin had no job and no motivation to do so, especially when he had a cute woman to take care of him.

The door opened to see his wife coming in the door a little upset.

“What’s wrong?”

“My Starbucks. I’m going to miss getting that fresh coffee in morning. We are now on quarantine.”

Sitting down on the couch Erwin takes a chip from his bag and offers it to his love who declines it.

“Well Starbucks is expensive anyways, not to mention we have a coffee maker that you rarely use.”

Erwin had a point.

“Yes, but it doesn’t taste the same.”

“Coffee is coffee. Relax.”

Erwin then tackles his love and holds her close to him, making her smile.

“Besides, you used to say that I made you the best coffee.”

“True, guess you be making me coffee more often..could you at least brush your teeth? I smell the onion flavored chips on your breath.”

“I will, if you make dinner tonight.”

“That’s a deal, Erwin.”

He was about to turn around and leave, when he spotted a small figure dressed in black, a lit cigarette on his delicate lips. His pitch black hair was styled in a neat undercut, contrasting with his ripped jeans and safety pinned leather jacket, and kept in place by a black beanie. Patches of skin were decorated with prominent tattoos, but before Erwin could gawk any more, the man seemed to have noticed him staring. He stood up straight, and made a clicking sound with his tongue.

Poor Erwin, he has a hard life. It's not surprising he burnt out! He just needs the right man to get him back on track. Thankfully Levi is on hand to help...uh..."motivate" him in Gamerwin, a priceless Eruri classic from @lustfulcat.

Usually I don't like NEETwin stories because he's written as an amoral sexual predator. Except for a few nonexplicit scenes such as Erwin getting his balls boxed, this doujinshi is cute and wholesome. Erwin finds himself lovingly(?) cared for by a racoon and his childhood friend Levi with an adorable neighboorhood kid Levy hanging out. There are 4 parts. One of the warmest and sweetest Eruri stories.
