Btw I want to shout out the acting in The Terror bc I feel like it's not talked about enough. I'm usually not good at seeing what's good and what's bad acting except if it's REALLY bad, but the difference between solid and showstopping spectacular never the same is a mystery to me most of the time. I feel like you need to be next level though to act in a piece of media with a historical setting. Not once was I taken out of the story by the acting or even the fact that I've known Jared Harris, Tobias Menzies and Ciaran Hinds from various other shows and movies (that also have a historical setting but its a completely different time period). Not once was I like "ah yes that's Tobias Menzies the guy who played Brutus in the hit TV show Rome :)" no bitch that IS Sir James Fitzjames, Commander of the Erebus!!

What I'm trying to get at is: If I can believe that you were alive in 1845 you've given an amazing performance, which the whole cast did without exception.

(I know the casting and the script also play a huge part in this, once you have one actor who looks like he knows how an iPhone works it's over in my book, but still, huge probs to everyone involved on screen and also everyone else on set. I was a set runner once and it's HECTIC)
