the conan part is very funny. [It also makes me think that Conan would say that in the episode where KID uses a taser] imagine that in the middle of the heist they start like this, and we all know that Kaito would not stay silent
"MANOS TE VAN A FALTAR PARA PELARME LA VRGA TANTEI-KUN" (You're going to lack hands to peel my cock tantei-kun)
"vivo te quiero maricon" (ready then, sissy)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Hakuba: Leave my body where they can find it, I don't want Baaya to look for me Kaito: ... I'm kidding. Conan: you don't have the balls
note 1: based on this meme
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I had to change the last bit because "no hay huevos" is the slang equivalent of "you don't have the balls"
" notes 2 : I hate sketching on clipstudio (I use SAI for that) but I wanted to use a 3D model of Kaito Kid Gun because there is NO WAY I'm going to draw that. I'm too lazy for that.

Random things that I've noticed in my Detective Conan rewatch (Episode 1- 123)
Ran started suspecting Shinichi in the 7th episode, figuring out that he was the one leading the police and her father to the suspects so while she might’ve not suspected him as Shinichi again until way later, she knew he was smart enough to figure out cases all on his own
Yusaku has a very particular way of writing his ‘K’s
Yusaku left a treasure hunt for Shinichi to find when he was older so he could find an old unpublished book that had been stolen from him at one point because he knew Shinichi loved reading his books and having this little privilege of reading it all when no one but Yusaku and his editors have was Yusaku’s way of showing his love
Sonoko has an older sister named Ayako Suzuki
Shiratori is an architecture nerd (Movie 1)
Shiota Heihachiro was Kogoro and Megure’s mentor, also known as the Japanese Holmes but he’s also just as shameless as Kogoro (Episode 67)
The Organization owns a bar named Black Widows (Great Detective Turned Small Special)
Heizo Hattori used to do Kendo with a friend of his, he likely encouraged Heiji to take part in it (Episode 77)
Shinichi doesn’t really care much for privacy when investigating stuff which includes going into people’s rooms when they’re not there, answering their phone and mimicking their voice to get information. Heiji even comments that he had a lot of guts (episode 78)
Heiji picked up calling Ran ‘Ran-neechan’ from Conan
Heiji is surprised when he finds out the Shinichi still hasn’t told the Mouri’s the truth about him shrinking because it’s kinda unthinkable to him. Why would Conan not trust the ppl he loved with this secret? It’s not like their knowing would hurt them because at least they would know what sort of danger they were in by housing him
Ayumi is super observant and tends to be the first to notice things they’re looking for quicker than the others, especially in the earlier cases
Takagi smokes in the early cases, though I can't remember if he does later on
Conan tended to trick people with his voice changer to get them to do what he wanted them to do
Shinichi can’t sing for shit but is really good at recognizing the pitch of sounds which is why he’s able to replicate voices so perfectly just by his ear
Takayama Minami (a singer) has a very similar voice to Conan and is a character based on his voice actor
Shinichi once found missing Lunch money in fourth grade when Ran lost it (episode 84)
Yukiko and Yusaku fight a lot but not in a serious sense. It’s more like Yukiko likes the drama and Yusaku just indulges it (Episode 96)
Before she got married Fujimine Yukiko (now Kudo Yukiko) used to act in a show known as the Dangerous Policewoman Story. Yamamura used to watch it when he was younger and was inspired to become a policeman because of it (episode 96)
Shinichi has abnormally good hearing (Episode 96)
The first time Megure ever properly accused Kogoro of being cursed was in Episode 98
Ran learns that Shinichi’s favourite food is lemon pie from his so-called first love, Asami Uchida (Episode 100)
Kobayashi Sumiko, the teacher of class 1-B was actually kinda strict and mean in her introduction, although that was mostly just her overcompensating (Episode 112)
The canonical show Detective Samonji was introduced in (Episode 116)
Kazuha introduced while thinking Ran was the “Kudo” girl seducing Heiji. She said she’s like Heiji’s big sister lol. (Episode 118)
Ran gave Conan a pager because he always disappears on her (Episode 123)
There might be a second part to this depending on how far I get in this rewatch. Have a nice day!

you are fireworks, my light
PAIRING. bokuto x f!reader WC. 1,457 SONG. マジックアワー by 緑黄色社会 TAG. pre & post timeskip
NOTE. i started this in early may but i couldnt get it down the way i wanted to😓. also wrote this cuz i couldnt stop crying over osaka bluteons loss against jtekt stings in the semifinals (and i say this as a stings fan…) / if you guys dont know, the word ‘senshu’ is a formal way of adressing athletes 🤗.
Tumblr media
“WHAT FOOLISH THING ARE YOU DOING NOW?” You turn your attention away from the sky where clusters of vibrant colors fly. Shades of pink, blue, purple, yellow, and oranges—they all blossom to flowers, emitting a loud boom! as they stretch over the vast indigo sky.
You laugh a little as you notice your sister with her eyes shut and her hands clamped together. She shushes you, never taking the time to open her eyes. “I’m making a wish.”
“A wish?” You repeat, amused. “Honey, you make wishes at temples, not at fireworks.”
Suddenly, she looks up at you, desperation filling her eyes. “But this works too!” She shouts. “When the fireworks disappear, make a wish! It’s just like a shooting star!” Theres a certain emotion she holds in her eyes, and red takes her fluffy cheeks. “It’s just…you’ve been really happy recently, neechan. I want to make it last forever.”
Surprised by her comment, a smile takes your lips, and you decide to entertain your sister once more. “Alright, alright,” you take your hand away from her head (you had unconsciously reached out to her to comfort her). “I’ll make a wish as well. I wish that—”
“No don’t say it!” She stretches her small hands up to your lips. “If you do, it wont come true!”
Just how much does this little girl know? You laugh in your mind. “Okay,” your voice is muffled against her hands. “I won’t say it. Will you move now?”
Flustered, she quickly moves away. “Don’t say anything, okay? I want your wishes to come true.”
You already knew it wouldn’t. It’s all foolish—shooting stars, dandelion fluffs, wish bones, wishing wells, fireworks…people lean on them so much that they, most of the time, only end up with shattered dreams. You knew it was foolish, but in order to entertain your sister, you let your most desired wishes spill from your mind to your heart:
May Fukurōdani win Nationals.
Bokuto Koutarou, as embarrassing as it sounds, was your idol in your younger years. He’d appeared on your tv one evening during your last year of middle school, and since then, you fell deeply for the boy and sport. He was like a bird, soaring high; like thunder, roaring as he slammed the ball to the ground. He presented you a world you’ve never known before.
And just like that, your wish never came true. From the stands, you watched in frustration. As if time had stopped, Fukurōdani stood motionless, and on the other side of the court, their opponents celebrated with utter joy.
This was also the first and last time you spoke to Bokuto in your youth. Deciding to leave early, you ran into the team, Bokuto leading the pack. “Bokuto-san,” your murmured, his name leaving your lips the same way it did when you used to watch his games on tv.
“Ah, Y/N-chan,” he said. It wasn’t a question—he already knew who you were.
The team who stood behind him is no longer there. You hear their voices drift away as they enter their locker room, leaving you in this quiet hallway alone with Bokuto. “You…know who I am?”
Your question surprised him, you can tell. His eyes widen as he begins to stumble on his words. “I, uh…yes—wait…” he shakes his head, holding a hand out between the two of you. “Akaashi…yea, you know Akaashi, right?”
An image of the boy who sits right next to you in class pops into mind. “Yea…we’re in the same class.”
He lights up. “Yea, thats right! Did you come to see him? Just wait here for a moment, let me call him.”
You reach for him as he turns. “No, its fine,” you stop him. “I wasn’t looking for him. I was just on my way out.”
He looks at you, a quiet “oh?” leaving his lips. “Well if thats what you want…”
“Yea…” you nod awkwardly. “Bokuto-san, you were really cool out there.”
A slight smile forms on his lips, taking in your compliment. “You think so?” Then, as if an image of their game came to mind, his smile drops. “If only I’d broken through that wall, though. It’s the aces job, and yet…”
Uh oh, you watch as his emotions drop. You were good at handling your younger sisters emotions, but never one at your age. “But, you had fun, didn’t you?” The words slip from your lips, and you begin to frown. Why did I say that?! The question repeats in your mind.
Bokuto thinks it over. “Well, I guess that’s right,” he laughs a little. “Thank you, Y/N-chan!”
With your cheeks heating up, you turn away. “Yea. I’ll get going now,” you bow before walking past him. A strange sensation builds up in your heart. The flame within you continues to grow. “Bokuto-san!” You turn around. Startled by your shout, he does the same, looking at you with wide eyes. “I’ll support you forever, so please…” please, you repeat over and over again. “Please don’t give up, okay? I better see you in the V.League!”
*****
MSBY Black Jackals Bokuto Koutarou is no longer Fukurōdanis ace. He’s just a “normal player” as he likes to call it. No longer pressured by the title, he merely plays as he likes.
Yet despite what he says, he certainly doesn’t stray far from the concept. “Bokuto-senshu,“ you greet him for the post match interview. “I would like to start off by saying congratulations on your teams victory.”
He couldn’t speak. You, who swore to support him forever vanished into thin air following his graduation. No word, no appearances at his games. One trivial moment with you in the arena he lost nationals in changed his life forever. Now, after five years, you’re back as if nothing ever happened. “I-uh…thank you,” he manages to reply. No one has ever heard the Bokuto Koutarou stutter before.
You smile, looking back down at your notes. “First of all, We would like to hear your thoughts on todays game. It seems like you were struggling against Schweiden Adlers defense in the third set.”
“Yea, well…” he runs his hands through his hair and over his mouth, gathering his thoughts. Seeing you stand in front of him, not as a classmate or friend, but as a reporter feels like the world has faded. Like there is nothing but you and him.
He chased after you following the interview. “Is that really you, Y/N-chan?”
You turn around, giving him a sweet smile. “Bokuto-san,” you say. “You did really—“ you try to finish your sentence, but before you could, he’s already pulled you into a tight embrace. You can feel his heart beating fast. A steady badump-badump-badump…
“What the heck?” His voice vibrates through his chest. “How long has it been? Four? Five years? You said that you would…”
Flustered, you pull away, a hand unconsciously lingering on his arm. “Don’t worry,” you tell him. “I’ve been watching your games, Bokuto-san. And now, I can watch it in person. I got a job here in Osaka.”
“And that job is this?” His arms extend out, and he begins to look at the large arena. “You’re working here? In this league?”
You nod. “That’s right,” you bow at him playfully. “From now on, this is Y/N-san, the on-court interviewer for the league.”
He brings his hands up to his face, laughing.
You smile at him gently. “MSBY has you,” you start, causing him to look back up at you. “MSBY has you and many talented players. Theres no doubt you guys will win this season,” you say with conviction.
He looks at you, confused. Then he realizes it. You’re still trying to cheer him up. Burying his face in his hands once more, he sighs heavily. Bokuto Koutarou who lived life without much thought is now troubled.
“What the hell,” his voice is quiet against his hands. For a moment, he peeks through his fingers, admiring you before taking another deep breath. His hazel eyes meets yours, and his cheeks are red. “Y/N, once we win championships, will you go out on a date with me?”
“Bokuto-san?!” You cry out, startled by his sudden request. “What are you..?”
He laughs. It was funny to see you so surprised. “You never knew?” He smirks, looking down at you, his arms now crossed as he gains confidence. “I’ve liked you for a long time now.”
You’re taken back six years. The summer of your seventeenth year, sitting on the engawa of your familys home with your sister by your side. Your clasped hands together, and you shut your eyes as you made two wishes. May Fukurōdani win nationals…
You’re taken back six years. The summer of your seventeenth year where you sat on the engawa of your familys home, your sister by your side. Your hands clasped together, and your eyes shut as you made two wishes towards the festive fireworks. May Fukurōdani win nationals…
May Bokuto-san look at me.
Perhaps wishing upon fireworks work after all.

In the end, it was a quiet morning when it all happened. The dew was still sitting gently outside, and the sun was just beginning to rise. Shinichi and Ran were in some small resort in the woods, quietly taking in the stillness of the sunrise while Kogoro slept inside.
"...hey, Conan-kun?" Shinichi looked up at Ran, who was glancing at him hesitantly. She was beautiful, coated in the first rays of the morning. He would never get tired of looking at her. "Let's say for a minute... Someone like- like Shinichi, was hiding something, and even though I confronted him about it, multiple times, he kept hiding it... Why do you think he would do that?"
But he would get tired of her unique ability to consistently take him off guard.
He stopped breathing for a minute. His heart raced. Ran was suspecting him again, but... Rather than directly confronting him, as she had all the times before, she was asking for his reasoning without directly acknowledging him.
His heart ached. Ran; dear, kind Ran who just wanted to know why he kept pushing her away. Why he couldn't stay, but couldn't ever leave. Why he could never bring himself to be honest with her. Why he left her once and came back so unbelievably unrecognizable to almost everyone.
Ran, who was possibly the most patient being on Earth.
Ran, who Shinichi sometimes privately thought was the closest thing to an Earth-born angel.
Ran, who Shinichi was deeply, completely and utterly, hopelessly in love with.
He wanted to tell her so very badly. The need to say something that always burned at a low simmer in his gut roared to life once again, making him feel almost lightheaded. Perhaps he couldn't - wouldn't - do so directly, but maybe...
He thought for a minute, contemplating his next words. He shouldn't. Haibara and the Professor would kill him, but. It's been so long, and in the end, Shinichi is so very weak for Ran.
If he hadn't been stopped before, he would have told her way back when this started, and several times over in the coming months.
Indeed, if Ran asked anything of him, no matter how much he put up a token complaint, he tried his level best to fulfill it. Even what she didn't ask for directly, he tried to give her. Despite that, true and honest answers about himself were one thing he has been unable to do give her recently, much to both of their dismays. First by outside interference, then by his own fear and paranoia.
But... In this gentle morning, where everything was gently illuminated by the rising sun, could he perhaps give her the slightest bit? Could he ease some of the fire burning him alive?
Shinichi loved Ran more than he feared death itself, and feared her death more than any torture he could possibly imagine. The thought of speaking about everything aloud, into her ears where anyone could see or where something might get out... It paralyzed him.
But this was all phrased as an innocent question. A simple thought experiment, a hypothetical, early in the morning in a small resort isolated from the rest of the world.
A simple question a big sister is asking her little brother in a moment of quiet contemplation.
If this was the way she was asking, then...
"... I dunno, Ran-neechan. But maybe it's something he's not allowed to tell and he's super scared, or it's something reaaaaally big and mean, and he's trying to keep everyone safe!" Ran looked at him, a terribly sad and understanding look in her eyes. It hurt to look at, so he looked out towards the sunrise again, letting the reflection off his glasses hide his eyes. "Or! Maybe he's hiding, or even protecting other people too! He's never here, and never wants to be noticed, right??"
Silence. A deep breath - in for four, hold for seven, out for eight. He thinks she's using the same breathing pattern.
She exhales slowly, her breath wobbling a little. He didn't look at her. In the end, it's all in her court.
"... I see. Thank you, Conan-kun. That's a interesting idea."
It was quiet for a while longer, and as the sunrise reached its last rays, he tentatively asked, "Ran-neechan?"
He heard her clothes rustle as she looked at him.
"Will you..." He paused. "If. If my idea is right, and Shinichi-niichan comes back later - for good - and wants to apologize and tell you everything... Will you listen to him?"
A breath. Two. Three. The sunrise has ended, and thus begins a new day.
He felt a hand gently lay itself on his head.
He looks at her. She's smiling gently, the same smile that tells him it will be okay, and it will always be so.
The one that gives him life every morning, that feuls every breath he breathes.
The one that is so uniquely Ran.
"Of course, Conan-kun. I'll be sure to listen carefully when that time comes."
Shinichi stares with wide eyes, almost unbelieving. A wave of relief crashes down on him, as some long hidden tension finally leaves him, rendering him unable to hold himself up anymore as he slouches into Ran.
No, he thinks. No matter how mad Haibara and Hakase get at him later, he won't regret this one bit.
He smiles up at her, his eyes watering as he stares into his own personal sun, the star his very life and being orbits around.
"Thank you, Ran."

Ran should know Shinichi is Conan so she can have the excuse to dress him in all ridiculous clothing and tell him "It's for your disguise! You do wat to be believable, right, Shinichi?" and Shinichi reluctantly lets her because he trusts her and doesn't believe she would purposely mess with him (he shouldn't trust her).
"Conan-kun, why are you dressed as a panda?"
Shinichi, through gritted teeth, "Ran-neechan thought it was cute and bought it for me! Isn't it!"
Ran giggling in the background as she records it and sends it to Heiji

Ran hadn't dreamed in a long time.
Whatever used to wait for her in the night was now gone.
She lay in bed, staring at the gray-white ceiling. The clock hands moved past three in the morning. She closed her eyes, listening to the wind outside and the rain falling on the rooftop, like echoes of distant waves.
Sometimes she felt like she lived underwater. Her room was a submarine, her father's alcohol breath was the damp scent of soaked metal, and outside her window was endless darkness, with street lights floating in the distance like blurred lighthouse beacons.
Every day she waited for a signal - a reply, a phone call, a chance encounter. But they were all swallowed by the water, like messages in bottles that never reached shore.
Shinichi - she still thought of this name sometimes, in her empty room, during long rainy nights, in all those silent moments no one else would hear.
"Shinichi." No one answered.
She sat up. The calendar on her wall was stuck on some date - she'd forgotten to change it, and couldn't remember when it had stopped. On her desk lay her high school notebook, its cover worn with age. Inside was a photo of someone in a blue uniform, standing by the soccer field with his back to the camera.
She remembered that day clearly. The weather was beautiful, and the wind on the field made Shinichi's white shirt billow slightly. He stood by the goal post and turned to tell her something, but she couldn't recall his words anymore.
She closed the notebook. Her phone screen lit up - a message from Conan: "Ran-neechan, it's raining outside. Get some sleep soon."
She smiled softly.
Outside, the rain continued, like a silent river flowing in the distance. She turned off her bedside lamp, buried herself under the covers, and closed her eyes, listening to the rain tapping against her window. Perhaps tomorrow, the rain would stop.

Bunny ears
A/N - I saw this adorable and hilarious image and I JUST HAADDDDD to write a mini theater about it. It is hilarious. The artist has my whole heart for this one :))
*****
"Please! Please Conan-kun. You look so adorable. Please wear it."
Conan's skin was crawling with utmost repulsion and rejection but the soft pleading voice, the wishful gentle eyes were doing a number on him.
Damn it. Damn it! DAMNN ITTT!!!!!
Just you wait Ran! I swear I will make you pay!!!
Conan had lost the battle and the war hands down. He was currently sporting the softest, the fluffiest white-coloured bunny ear plush hat.
Needless to say, his self-esteem was in the gutter. His face was a mixture of annoyance and defeat but what could he do, his enemy was invincible. He was never gonna win.
Strong and sure arms wrapped around his torso and all of a sudden he felt weightless. His feet were off the ground and he felt his back press into a pillowy softness. Ran was carrying him
This againnn!!!
"Gomene Conan-kun~ but arigatou. You are so adorable," Ran said hugging him tightly.
Close! You are too close!!
Her voice! Her breath! This is torture! But I like it so much!
Conan braced himself to look back and peek at her face. Ran was looking at him with the most adoring, doting gaze. Conan slumped in utter defeat. As deducted, he was never going to win. But being carried in your arms like this, this is my compensation.
You hear me Ran, this is COMPENSATION!!!
"Oh, there you are, Hattori-kun, Kazuha-chan!"
.....Say what now...??
"I am glad you guys arrived quickly!"
.....Who has arrived quickly..??...And why...??
"Look, don't you think Conan-kun looks adorable with the bunny hat!?" Ran said holding him up.
Hell no!
Conan dreaded looking up, "Oh dear, if theish isnt the cutest Conan-kyun."
Conan heard the most nauseating forced baby voice ever and the facial expression was even worse.
A vein popped on Conan's head.
Hattori Heiji was looking down at Conan with the most annoying expression known to mankind.
"Now would you look at this, these bunny ears move as well. Shoo cute Conan-kyun," said Hattori as he bent down to play with the buttons which made the bunny ears move.
Conan's glare was slicing the man to pieces.
You are dead Hattori! You are soo dead!!!
Yea yea, keep glaring but I am under the protection of your precious Ran-neechan.
"Ran-chan! Look at this," said Kazuha.
"What is it?" Ran asked turning away for a moment.
That was all it took, Conan grabbed him by the collar and in his most vicious voice, made sure that Hattori knew who had the upper hand here.
"Oi, you better remember that I have a very embarrassing voice recording of a certain idiot giving a very public confession on a very crowded Ebisubashi bridge. I have deleted my copy but the Detective boys certainly have theirs."
"Knock it off with this behaviour, otherwise you have no idea the places that, that recording can reach. Dont. Test. Me!"
"Hai Conan-kun. As you say Conan-kun."
Heiji backed off.
Tumblr media
This is so cute!!!
The mini theatre is not so 'mini' but the image!!! I swear!!
The image is not mine. All the credit to the original artist!!

Detective Conan incorrect quote (i should number these but im lazy)
[Kaito, truth serum-ed]: How are you all doing? The human connection will make me feel like a person again. What? Sorry! That one was supposed to stay up here. Hahahaha… Help me. Ooh. There I go again. Mm… I'm just really… Tired! Can't talk. Because of the crows. I just… couldn't get to sleep last night. And I think with that new addition, that brings the grand total to… um… everything. Everything is going wrong in my life. Even my thoughts are starting to go wrong.
[Ai]: grumbles in "this stupid idiot is going to blow our cover"
[Ran]: Ooohhh, come on, no! No… What are you talking about?!
[Kaito]: Sorry! Umm… Let's talk about something else.
[Conan]: Yeah, let's.
[Sonoko]: opens door ♪ Uh-oh! ♪ Here comes the noblest of them all! What up, dumbasses?
[Conan]: Oh, hey, Sonoko-neechan! We were just talking about something else!
[Sonoko]: Mmm- What?
[Conan]: Yo- What?! Nothing else! There's nothin' else! Uhh, we were just talking about something and never anything else.
[Ai]: aggravated sigh

The reason why I think Shinran works:
People think lying is unforgivable, because it creates an empty void which would only get bigger in time. When somone lied about what they were doing, it left others with more questions and assumptions: So where did you actually go? What did you actually do. Who did you actually see? Those questions will never get an answer, and so the doubt and insecurity grows.
But Shinran is different.
Instead of Shinichi pretending to by her side but doing secret things behind her back, it’s the opposite. He pretends he’s not there, but he WAS. He was there by her side, protected her, comforted her, be there for her through every danger, even not as Kudo Shinichi, he was there as Conan. When Ran find out about the truth, it won’t create a new void in her heart, it will actually fill the void that she already had.
Ran once hoped herself: "If only Conan was Shinichi." Because she just wanted him to actually be there with her, not as a ghost that she can’t see or touch. But it turned out that he really had been there for her the whole time. The image of that gentle little boy who calls her Neechan, replacing the absence of her lover. I can’t imagine her getting too mad at this truth, she would only be relieved, knowing that none of the things that truly mattered were lies, like how much he actually loved her and cared about her.
“So you were always there with me. Thank you.”

Detective Conan Rewatch: Episode 1141
Episode 1141: "The Mouri Family House Sits”
Before watching this episode, on a scale of 1-10, how much are you looking forward to seeing it again?
5!
Favorite screencap:
Tumblr media
Ran: "Should we be suspicious? Why would a famous literary critic come to us to housesit instead of asking a neighbor?"
Tumblr media
Kogoro: "That's a problem for future me! In the meantime, I'm enjoying this beer and squid!"
Tumblr media
Conan: "Don't worry, Ran-neechan. I'm sure the plot will come to bite us in the butt in about 2 minutes."
Favorite Moment:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I know he didn't do much of anything, but I'm always happy to see kitties in the show. <3
Least Favorite Moment:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Oof, that is very unfortunate.
What’s one thing you noticed/realized about this episode that you hadn’t before?
Tumblr media
Oh weird. Don't usually see Conan focus on eating sweets like chocolates. Wonder if he's the one who ate these or if the others did and it just happens to be in front of him.
On a scale of 1-10, how would you rate this episode?
Pleasant! 5!
Celebrate it!
Here’s a (not exactly) summary haiku:
Critic needs some help
Asks Mouris to come housesit
A body is found
Next Episode: Episode 1142-1143
Previous Episode: Episode 1140

DASDfhhahaha... Oh boy.
It only makes sense that he's got the habit ingrained after at least six months of only being able to hang around people and solve crimes as Conan!
It does remind me of how back in Desperate Revival, he accidentally called Ran "-neechan" and tried to call out to the Detective Boys, who didn't recognise him.
Irony is that this case, he's surrounded by people who (not counting Ran and Sonoko) ARE in the know (aka, Sera and Hattori).
