i didn’t realize we were getting one more episode though, i assumed 38 was the last, so maybe these crazies can wrap everything up in a somewhat presentable way in the final final ep *crosses fingers but with little hope*

#zalim istanbul #SO SO SO much GODDAMN wasted potential in this show i am so bitter #CENK AND CENCEM WAS CRIMINALLY UNEXPLORED #HELL EVEN NEDIM/CEMRE DIDN'T GET THEIR JUST DESERTS IF THEY REALLY ARE THIS DAMN SHOW'S ENDGAME #AND CEREN/NEDIM???? THE FREAKING POTENTIAL THERE IS ABSO-FUCKING-RIDICUOUS #CEREN COULD HAVE HAD AN ACTUAL STORYLINE THEN RATHER THAN JUST BEING A SELFISH VILLAIN THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN LOVELY #like hazan cemre's big secret backstory is apparently useless so WHY eVEN HAVE IT #and DO NOT get me started on this dumbass out of nowhere tumor that probably won't kill cenk #but will leave him with amnesia (post surgery) that allows him to forget his love for cemre so nedcem can be together guilt free #and cenk and nedim can have a *brotherly relationship*#so fracking stupid

CenCem occasionally make the ship list on Sociak media, so the fans definitely have a bigger social media presence, especially on Twitter. But I’m not sure if it’s a international thing or not. Like some shows just dominate the social media lists because of international fans. Like Yasak Elma barely gets on the list and I haven’t seen a ship make the list this season but it still does well ratings wise.

It depends on how many crazy fans there are. *lol* When the show first started NedCem shippers were more, but after having seen that the writer would try a stupid love triangle and also never ending abuse, torture towards Nedim, those shippers stopped watching. I know, because I am one of them. The ratings are also proof for this. It constantly dropped because of poor writing.

People always compare Zalim İstanbul with Fazilet Hanım ve Kızları, but they are missing something. Zİ is darker and more melodramatic than FHVK. In Zİ, there are so many bad characters and they are simply evil. Also the stupidity of some characters makes no sense and after a while this becomes more and more frustrating. As for FHVK, there was only one pure evil and it’s Selin. So, these darker elements make the show hard to watch, imo. (especially if you’re watching only for Nedim) It’s no wonder that one fan group is stronger, because simply the other fan group is no longer active on social media. *lol*

I don’t also look at twitter anymore, because there are many uncomfortable tweets going around. For example, I saw a couple of times some tweets saying that Ceren and Nedim will be a very good couple. Like, really? The girl who constantly tortured a disabled man only deserves to be in the jail. This is madness.
