My Thoughts on the ND34 Trailer

I know a lot of people have expressed their thoughts on the trailer, but I am going to try to observe anything that looks interesting and ask questions.

In the museum gallery room in one of the opening shots, why is there fog around the artifacts? Isn’t that dangerous for the items. Or are we on a steak out and the robbers are coming in under the cover of fog.

The old guy with glasses (not sure who he is)-Did I see a scopa card? Very Phantom of Venice vibes here. The card is also seen later next to some footprints. Could he be like a professor or something?

Puppet of Death????  Maybe some alchemy, like a homunculus. We saw pictures and alchemy was mentioned in the trailer. Does Radek have something to do with it since we saw him with puppets in the background?

Oskar- eh not much was said about him, but he might have something to do with the fake jewels.

Blonde lady- Ok I am thinking she may be the person that assigns us the case to find her grandmother’s necklace.  She gives off Xena vibes from game 31.

Other Old guy- I do see puppets in the background with him so maybe he works with Radek?

Guy in purple coat- he might be our contact with a government like entity maybe a news reporter?

Elka- Computer smarts maybe she will be helping us solve the case?

Coffee shop owner lady- I’m getting Margherita vibes from Phantom but also the sweet lady that would offer you a slice of cake, maybe her coffee shop is the hot spot of latest gossip on the theft/fakes. Maybe her sweet vibe is a lie?

The scary looking office lady- She seems sus. She probably works with Oskar.

This next bit is pure speculation I have no idea so please take this with a grain of salt.

Some of the puzzles that I did see the big one that had the different shapes of stone.

Each one of these pictures are on an octagon, a square, and a triangle no repeating shapes with the same picture (I.E. 2 octagon crowns) so maybe this is like sudoku. I did notice look at the puzzle on the side on the wood part there are the same symbols. Oh, wait I’m getting Bento puzzle vibes with this puzzle once I take a step back.

Oh my gosh, I was just watching Arglefumph’s reaction video to the trailer and he stopped here and was talking about Radek and how he had a signed picture of himself here, and a thought came across my mind: since he’s at the marionette cart, and the autograph and everything, is Radek a famous marionette performer? Is he really big to the point where his name is a household word in that world-like Punch and Judy are?

{Spoilers for The Deadly Device}

So before we knew much about KEY, a lot of people played around and made conspiracy theories/fake posts about Hans, and-

I had a thought; Hans is one of our phone contacts, and The Deadly Device proved that a phone contact could be a villain. Is it possible all the suspects we see in the trailer are red herrings and Hans could possibly be the culprit/one of the culprits?

{Plus, he's also in the suspects tab in the trailer when Nancy pulls out her notebook}.

The way she says that last sentence, lol. Sassy Nancy has entered the chat!

Re-watching the trailer again, and noticed that when the blonde girl is telling Nancy about the suspects and that she should reach out and find out who stole the gems, the only suspects who smile/make any reaction to Nancy other than a blank expression is Radek and Oskar. HMMMMMMMM, these two be lookin' a little sus, dude.

Well, if HER is trying to pull out all the stops with this game, like it seems like with some of the decisions they've made for this game, then my guess is;

Frank + Joe, maybe Bess + George, Hans, {maybe some black market people?} and whoever else the characters tell Nancy about that are deemed important/know something about the case.

If we're going with what I hope for beyond that, we'd have someone like Prof. Hotchkiss/Prudence Rutherford also on the phone and we might have Ned finally make an appearance.

who do we think are going to be our phone contacts for KEY?

and do we think ned is with us physically or just over the phone?

Let’s speculate here! Nd34

Before continuing, this post is pure speculation. These are my thoughts; I know I could be wrong by the time the game is released.

I am trying to figure out the three women that were introduce in the trailer.

Blonde lady

Coffee shop lady

Scary Secretary lady

We already know about Elka (a bit) I wanted to focus on these ladies here.

I am re-watching the trailer again and I was paying close attention to the part with the letter, there is a name A. Czerna on the letter head and the signature. So, we have our reason to be in Prague, but which of these ladies wrote the letter or if they wrote the letter.

My thoughts that this letter might have been written by the blonde lady, she seems she would know who Nancy would be (not to say the others wouldn’t know) but that one scene where the blonde lady greet Nancy is making me believe that she is our contact for this mystery.

Now, another scene I find most interesting is the part with Coffee lady and blonde lady’s altercation where the Blonde lady slams her hand down on the table. What could have happened here to make these ladies so hostile towards each other.

Could Blonde lady think that Coffee lady is in cahoots with the theft? Or what if (and this is massive speculation on my part) Coffee lady and Blonde lady be related?

Both ladies are at the coffee shop when Nancy arrives. Because the letter mentions a mother, and that the mother is very hush hush about the necklace, could the Blonde lady be trying to find the necklace to return it?

But as the trailer goes on, we see the part with the Secretary lady mention a necklace, I am unsure if they are referring to the same question. With the whole vibe that I am getting from the Secretary lady and how official she comes off she would be my second guess that she’s maybe A. Czerna.

So, my top two choice for A. Czerna is either Blonde lady or Secretary lady.

Ok, taking a break from A. Czerna mystery, when I saw that knight armor moving around how many others think we might have a Scooby Doo like unmasking at the end of the game?

I would love to hear more conspiracies if anyone has them. :D
