treacherous.
I wrote this while listening to the taylor swift song of the same name. it’s a good soft song and it reminds me of them. also, SPOILERS FOR 6X06 LITERALLY DO NOT READ THIS IF YOU EITHER DON’T KNOW WHAT HAPPENED OR HAVEN’T GOTTEN TO IT YET.
Hannah’s words echoed in Tammy’s head as she made the short drive to the other agent’s house. Sebastian was hanging out with Patton, leaving Tammy alone in their house for the night. She had been alone with her thoughts for too long, she needed to be around someone else. Hannah was her first thought, she had offered to listen to Tammy if she ever wanted to talk, especially so after Chris’ death. Tammy had dealt with loss before, but this was much more than she could handle on her own.
After sitting in her car for five minutes while gathering her thoughts, Tammy finally took a deep breath and made her way to the front door. She could feel her chest tighten and for a brief moment, she considered turning back and returning to her house. The autumn breeze wrapped itself around Tammy’s frame and tossed her hair around, sending shivers down her spine.
The moment Tammy reached Hannah’s front door, she stopped in her tracks and focused her sight on the bushes nearby as she tried to rehearse exactly what it was she would say to Hannah. Normally, she wouldn’t be this nervous but she felt their dynamic had changed recently. She was always comfortable going to Hannah if she wanted to talk through anything, but this time just felt different. Her emotions were heightened in light of recent events and she didn’t know how to control them. Luckily, she hadn’t been in a situation where she had to up until now. It was as if her feelings toward Hannah were intensified but that wasn’t something she could deal with now. She needed to push her feelings down more now than ever.
“Gregorio? What’s going on?” Hannah asked softly, pulling Tammy’s head out of her thoughts.
Tammy’s head whipped up and she met Hannah’s concerned eyes. “I shouldn’t have come. I’m sorry,” she whispered before turning to walk back to her car. As she began to make her first step away, Tammy felt Hannah’s hand wrap around her forearm.
“No, come in. I’ll get us a few beers. It seems like you could use it.”
Hannah walked back into her house, leaving Tammy standing in the cold. She took a moment to herself before following Hannah inside, trying everything in her power to ignore the burning sensation on her arm where Hannah’s hand had been less than a minute ago. There hadn’t even been skin contact but Tammy swore she had felt her flesh burning under the jacket she wore.
Tammy followed Hannah all the way into the kitchen, where she leaned against the doorframe and crossed her arms over her chest as she watched Hannah move effortlessly through the room. A smile grew on her lips and suddenly she was much more relaxed than she had been at the front door. Being near Hannah in such a familiar situation calmed any nerves Tammy had felt before entering the house and she finally felt like she could breathe again.
When Hannah emerged from the refrigerator, she spun around to set the bottles on the countertop but was surprised to see Tammy watching her. She let out a soft laugh before shaking her head at the woman and opening a nearby drawer to fish out the bottle opener. After opening the bottles with shaking hands, Hannah led Tammy to the couch in the living room where they could sit down and talk about whatever was plaguing Tammy’s mind.
The two settled in a comfortable silence, both women paying more attention to their drinks than to each other. Hannah knew Tammy had a lot on her mind, but she didn’t want to push the woman to speak to her. Things always occurred naturally between them, it was something she loved about their friendship.
After a few minutes of silence, Tammy finally spoke up. “How did you know I was out there?”
“I was sitting in here and I saw headlights pulling in. I recognized your car and I waited for you to get out of your car to see if you were going to stay. I almost came out there at one point while you were sitting in your car but I wanted to give you whatever time you needed.”
Tammy smiled at Hannah’s respectfulness and looked down at the drink in her hands rather than responding to her. She wasn’t sure how to start talking, there were too many topics eating away at her mind. She took another swig of the beer before opening her mouth to speak again.
“There’s just stuff I can’t stop thinking about.”
Hannah watched Tammy carefully, waiting for the woman to go into more detail. After a few moments passed and Tammy hadn’t spoken up again, Hannah decided to be the person to fill the silence. She took a deep breath and set her bottle on the coffee table in front of the couch, running her hand through her hair as she moved back to sit with her back against the cushion.
“It’s the same for me. I found myself worrying more about Naomi, I had never considered how dangerous this job truly is. Every night I get to come back home to her is a gift that I haven’t been appreciating as much recently. This put a lot of things into perspective for me,” Hannah sighed. Her eyes focused on her hands that were now toying with the hem of the sweater she was wearing, it was much easier than looking at Tammy. “I keep wondering what I would do if it was you. Losing LaSalle made me realize I could lose you at any minute.”
Tammy was unsure of what exactly she was feeling in that moment — it felt like Hannah was hinting at more than she was saying, but she wasn’t sure if she was just overthinking things in her emotional state. Her eyes roamed over Hannah’s face, searching for any sign of what she was feeling. The sadness was apparent in her features, but there was something else Tammy couldn’t place. She had seen hints of it before when she was talking to Hannah, but she could never figure out exactly what it was. At this moment, however, the feeling was etched deeper into Hannah’s face.
“I don’t want to imagine anything happening to you before I got to do this,” Hannah whispered before leaning across the couch. One hand cupped Tammy’s cheek and brought their lips together while the other prevented Hannah from completely falling on top of Tammy.
Despite being short-lived, the kiss was gentle and sweet. Tammy hadn’t been expecting the kiss, reminding her that she needed to brush up on her profiling skills. Hannah was always full of surprises with these newly stated feelings not being the first.
“Oh.” Tammy felt bad for giving such a minimal response, but she wasn’t sure of her feelings at the moment. Although she was very appreciative of the kiss, it all just felt off. She was still mourning one of her close friends, yet here she was kissing a member of the team.
Hannah’s face fell immediately and she moved back to her end of the couch. She was completely flustered by Tammy’s response and she was embarrassed that she had acted on her feelings.
“I’m so sorry, Tammy. I was reading everything completely wrong.”
Tammy shook her head, grabbing Hannah’s hand. She interlaced their fingers and smiled softly at the woman. “You didn’t. I just wasn’t expecting it at the moment. And honestly, I feel selfish for enjoying myself when one of my closest friends just died.” She sighed deeply and focused on their hands. Tammy’s thumb traced soft circles on the back of Hannah’s hand, hoping to convey her acceptance of Hannah’s confession.
Hannah bit her lip and nodded. “I don’t know if it’s really my place to say it, but you can’t live your life thinking that you’re being selfish for living your life. Chris wouldn’t want you to be moping around and worrying that you’re being inconsiderate to him. You know how much he wanted you to be happy, he was one of your closest supporters when it came to dating.”
The thought of LaSalle cheering her on while she finally found happiness for herself brought a bittersweet smile to Tammy’s face. She knew Hannah was right, this is exactly what he would have wanted for her.
“Besides,” Hannah said softly, “we don’t have to move too quickly. I just wanted you to know how I feel. I couldn’t hold it in any longer.”
Tammy nodded and moved to sit right next to Hannah. She wrapped her arm around Hannah’s waist before resting her head on the agent’s shoulder. At that moment, Tammy felt all of the thoughts that had been plaguing her mind finally leave. It was just her and Hannah in the living room together, anything that was outside of the room was long forgotten.
The two sat on the sofa together for quite some time, simply asking each other random questions to get to know the other and listening as the other told stories from her past. Things didn’t seem much different than they were before, with the exception of the closer proximity rather than sitting on opposite ends of the couch. Before Hannah had realized it, she heard her voice asking Tammy to stay. They needed each other for the night, any further discussion of their relationship could wait until the next day.

“Listen - we’re both single, overworked, and it’s Valentine’s day. We have every reason to hit the bars tonight. Hannah’s coming, Patton said he’ll swing by…”
A sigh comes up as you walk through the gate. Roy watches on, and even though he’s only heard a small portion of the conversation, he looks pretty sympathetic. Like he somehow knows that Tammy has been trying all day to drag you out to a bar tonight.
You stop by the door, looking to Tammy, still wearing a neutral look. “I’m sure you guys will have a lot of fun,” you tell her, voice flat.
“We’ll have a lot of fun.” Her hand clasps down on your shoulder, steering you into the building with a confident look on her face. “C’mon, what else do you have goin’ on? You got a secret Valentine I don’t know about?”
You’re about to tell her the truth. It’s on the very tip of your tongue.
Before you could say a word, however, you’re interrupted. “You’re finally back! ‘Bout time!”
You and Tammy both look over to Chris, who was languidly making his way over with a wide grin on his face. A grin you knew well enough to know he was up to something. A grin that Tammy, in all her annoying profiling expertise, should have recognized.
But Chris steps aside, his arm held out toward your desk, revealing the big bouquet of colorful flowers - all tucked into a beautiful vase, wrapped with lace, looking straight out of a brochure.
A gasp of surprise comes up, and Tammy lets out a sharp exclamation that you don’t pay much attention to. You’re more focused on the flowers and how soft the petals look, how intricate the designs on the vase are. More importantly, how they happen to be all your favorite colors.
“Who sent those?” Tammy asks.
“No idea,” Chris says easily. “Been there since I got here.”
“I thought you said you didn’t have a Valentine.” Tammy’s head whips around to face you, eyes narrowed in her suspicion. It’s difficult to keep your face neutral, not allowing any guilt or surprise to be shown. She would surely catch it.
So you shrug, offering a wide-eyed innocent look that makes Chris chuckle behind her. “Secret admirer?” You offer in a light voice.
Tammy hums, watching you for a moment longer before she starts walking off toward the kitchen. “Right. Some admirer,” she replies slowly. And you watch her until she disappears into the kitchen.
Then you immediately snap your gaze back to Chris, who was wearing that wide grin again, head tilted to the side as he stares. It was almost enough to keep from scolding him. Almost.
You take a step closer to Chris, brows furrowed, eyes briefly glancing to the kitchen archway before returning to him. “I thought we talked about this. No Valentine’s Day stuff at work.”
He tries to look innocent. Giving faux-pleading eyes and a shrug while looking back to the flower vase sitting on your desk. “Well, my name ain’t on it. Nobody saw me bring it in. Don’t see what the big deal is.” Chris turns back to you, and this time, his smile is softer. Eyes dropping down to your lips before coming back up. “How’d you even know it was me, Sugarbelle?”
There’s a brief moment of silence. You know you should back away - anybody can walk in and see just how close you’re standing to Chris and see the flowers on your desk and put two-and-two together. But you don’t move. Rather, don’t want to move.
You sigh through your nose. “Because you’re just cheesy enough to get me flowers for Valentine’s Day,” you reply.
Chris chuckles again. His eyes flicker around the room quickly, and before you can do anything to stop him, he leans in to press a kiss against your cheek. A risky move, that’s for sure.
But it’s Valentine’s Day, so maybe the risk was worth it.

Hannah and Tammy from NCIS New Orleans keep reminding me of Root and Shaw, without the sociopathic tendencies (please, please, let Hannah ride a bike, thank you). I really just can’t help myself. This takes place after that lesbian bar scene from The Terminator Conundrum.
They were standing on the curb outside the bar, almost huddling against the cold night air. Hannah was on her phone while Tammy was on the lookout for Sebastian’s car. He had offered to drive Hannah home as well, but since hers was located on the opposite side of the city, she refused the offer on the base of inefficiency and opted to get an uber instead. After getting the confirmation from her driver, she pocketed her phone and stepped closer to bump her shoulder with Tammy’s.
“I had fun tonight.”
“We should do it again sometimes.”
“But not in a lesbian bar, please.” Before Tammy could tease her about how flustered she was with the amount of women who had showed interest throughout the night (or the many times they were thought to be together), she said, “I’m not a lesbian.”
Tammy was short on rolling her eyes at Hannah’s insistence on the matter. “I know,” she said instead, her guts telling her that there was more that Hannah wanted to say this time.
“But I’m attracted to women.”
Tammy’s grin was wide. “I know, baby,” she repeated, a lot smugger than before because she had read her right. The petname came easy, accompanying the pride and honor she felt for having Hannah coming out and trusting—
“I’m attracted to you.”
That had Tammy faltered. She paused mid-wrapping an arm around Hannah, let it fall behind them as she stared at her instead. Hannah looked back, smiling with just a smudge of nervousness that wasn’t typical of her.
“I wasn’t going to do anything about it before, but with recent development…” she trailed off. “I know you stared at me when you thought I wasn’t looking.”
Tammy had recovered from her initial surprise by then, but she didn’t even have the grace to look a bit sheepish for being caught red-handed. “It’s hard not to stare, you know.” She smirked a little when a new flush dusted Hannah’s cheeks. “I wasn’t going to do anything about it either ‘cause you were my boss,” she said and Hannah nodded along. “Didn’t ask you out expecting that either.”
“You didn’t know?”
“Being attracted to women doesn’t default into being attracted to all women.” Tammy shrugged. “I thought you’re just being friendly. I could use that too, a friend.”
Hannah bumped their shoulders again. “I’m your friend, Tammy.” She laced their hands together and tugged Tammy to her. “But I also have wanted to do this since we met.”
She ducked her head as she moved even closer to Tammy, invading her personal space and only pausing when she was an inch away from her lips. Tammy took the prompt and closed the remaining space between them. The kiss was short and sweet.
“Since we met?”
“Technically, before that.” Hannah let out a small breathless laugh as she reined back from kissing Tammy again. “I read your file, and I’m kinda a big fan.”
Her confession earned her another kiss. This time Tammy wrapped her free arm around her shoulder to pull her in. There were traces of laugh in the contact, but it soon died down when tongue swept over her bottom lip. One of them hummed, Hannah wasn’t sure who. They only parted when a car took an abrupt stop in front of them, a gaping Sebastian staring at them wide-eyed from the driver seat. Tammy groaned, leaning her head on Hannah to stall the inevitable and let Sebastian squirm a bit for interrupting their moment.

Pancakes and Sprinkles (NCIS: New Orleans Drabble)
This randomly popped into my brain while I was watching tv last night and there was no reason not to write it. ^_^
Pairing: Christopher LaSalle/OFC
Word Count: 1331
Warning: None.
Summary: After a bad day at work Chris comes home to a present from his wife and daughter.
Cursing under his breath Chris grabbed his jacket off the muddy ground knowing that he was going to have to wash it. Which was fun since he grabbed it out of the dryer before he left for work that morning.
His entire day had been going like that. From the fact that his alarm hadn't gone off and he was late causing him to skip breakfast to him tripping on nothing while caring a stack of paperwork he had just organized and spilling it everywhere. It felt like the entire world was out to get him that day.
He could actually feel the tears of frustration pricking at his eyes.
All he wanted to do was get into his bed and forget that the world even existed for awhile. No, actually first he wanted to grab a drink. At that moment he was down for anything that helped him not feel for awhile.
Taking a shaky breath he made his way to the front door and tried to open it. He barely got his hand around the knob before it was falling to the ground and he remembered that he promised his wife that he was going to fix that. Three days ago.
Gritting his teeth he started to bend down to pick it up only to hear a small ripping noise. Closing his eyes for a moment he shook his head knowing that he didn't even want to try to figure out what the hell had just happened.
Instead he straightened up and started for the backdoor. At least he'd be closer to the kitchen and hopefully he wouldn't be running into anyone. He wasn't sure exactly what time it was but the sun had set awhile ago so it was doubtful either his wife or daughter were awake at that point.
Honestly he really hoped that they weren't. It had been pointed out to him many times in his life that he had a bit of a temper and when he in the mood he was in than it was best to leave him alone. Anyway, they deserved better than that. Better than him.
Coming to stop at the backdoor he rested his head on it as his mind began to race. He could just picture what it would be like when he walked through that door. It was the same exact thing that happened when his father walked through the door at night.
He could hear the screaming and arguing filling the entire house erasing any sense of peace that their family had. He could feel the way his heart pounded in his chest and the noise became louder as his parents moved closer to the dining room where he and his siblings sat.
The fear that he had felt on those nights was the last thing that he ever wanted his child to feel. He couldn't ever be the reason that the light went out in those perfect doe eyes. He couldn't break her like that.
With all of that in his mind he started to turn ready to go back to his truck and leave. He'd send a text to his wife later. She'd understand why he didn't come home. Before he could even take a step a loud, high-pitched scream echoed from inside making his stomach knot painfully. He knew that scream well. It was his daughter.
Without a second thought he threw the door open ready to take down whoever thought they could hurt his baby girl.
Blue eyes darted around wildly looking for the person that made his daughter sound like that There was no one.
"Daddy!"
Feeling strong arms wrap around his legs he looked down and saw the light of his life staring up at him. His heart melted as those large brown eyes locked with his. They were filled with so much happiness and love he felt like he couldn't breathe.
"Sweetheart," came a soft, musical laugh, "You're getting Daddy all dirty."
Blinking a few times Chris finally noticed the fact that his baby girl was covered in flour. Every inch of her looked as if she had fallen into a vat of it. It was going to be a chore getting her clean again, but he couldn't bring himself to really care as he bent down and picked the little girl into his arms holding her tightly.
"Christopher."
Tearing his eyes away from his daughter he looked across the room and saw the most beautiful woman he had ever seen. Every time he saw that face he felt like he had met an angel. There was no other way to describe her.
"Baby, are you okay?" she questioned moving towards him her hand moving automatically to her round stomach.
It had only been a few hours since he had last seen her but she looked so much more pregnant than she had before. It wouldn't be long now before they were going to be adding another little one to their family. He couldn't wait.
"Chris?" she tried once more.
"I..." he started his voice already sounding broken in his own ears.
"He's hungry, Mama! You gotta show him what we did! Show him!"
"Alright, alright. Now, I'm sure you've noticed the mess by now, Christopher. Well, we decided…"
"We made pancakes!"
"I'm not quite sure about that. They ain't like Uncle Dwayne's."
"Duh, Mama. Uncle Dwayne's a pro, pro-fresh. Umm… He's really good. We did good too. Show him, Mama!"
"Okay, okay. Come here, baby. Let me show you our work."
Feeling a soft yet strong hand wrap around his own he let himself be pulled closer to the counter where he finally saw the plate of food. Every piece looked burnt and somehow still completely uncooked in places. They were inedible.
"Do you like them, Daddy?" an innocent voice questioned.
Turning his head he buried it in his baby girls hair feeling the tears that he had been holding back finally break free. He knew that his grip on his was probably too tight, but he couldn't not have her in his arms.
A small hand patted the side of his neck as if it was trying to comfort him. All he could do was cry harder as another pair of arms wrapped around him holding him in a warm embrace.
"Mama. Is Daddy okay? Did he not like the pancakes?"
"I'm okay," Chris offered his voice rough as he pulled back, "I'm okay. I love the pancakes. You and Mama did such a wonderful job."
"Than why are you crying?"
"I had a bad day at work."
Cocking her head to the side his daughter stared up at him for a moment before her hand come up to sloppily try to brush his tears away. A broken laugh escaped him as he took hold of her tiny fist and pressed a kiss to it making her laugh.
"You gotta eat the pancakes! Pancakes make everything better! I put sprinkles in them! Sprinkles make everything better too!"
"Actually," his wife cut in pulling away from the hug but staying close, "I think I know something that will make Daddy feel even better?"
"Better than sprinkle pancakes?"
"Better than sprinkle pancakes."
"What?"
"Why don't you and I take a shower and then all three of us can curl up in bed and you can tell us a story?"
A loud squeal left his daughter as she squirmed out of his arms and took off running into the house. He barely had time to think before a hand was taking a hold of his jaw and moving his head so he could stare at his wife.
"That alright with you, Baby?" she questioned softly.
"It's perfect," Chris responded truthfully.
"Good I'll try not to take long getting us clean. And for the sake of your stomach and mine throw those out."
"Why? Don't think you're a good cook?"
"I know I'm not a good cook. Also, we don't have sprinkles."

…where it doesn’t hurt. For LaSalle bc I watched a lot of NOLA reruns when I couldn't sleep early this morning.
Tumblr media
“Sugarbelle?!” He sounded worried, even from through the door & down the steps, and you winced, ducking your head. “Baby, you alright?”
“...what’s your definition of alright?” you called back, hating the ache in your voice. The sound of footsteps thumped through the door, but despite how embarrassed you were, when you heard the knock, you sighed, tilting your head. “It’s not locked.”
“...you sure?”
“Well, I can’t quite get myself back up.”
The silence was almost deafening, before the doorknob clicked as it turned, and the door slid open, Chris poking his head carefully around the frame. It had to be a sight for him, you sprawled in the tub, the shower curtain around you, torn from the hooks when you slipped and fell. He hesitated, and you could see him fighting a laugh, as he cleared his throat, padding across the tile to you.
“...sugarbelle...what the hell?”
“Don’t you laugh at me, LaSalle, I slipped. Can you just...help me up?”
“You sure you need my help?” he teased, snickering as you growled.
“I slammed my elbows, and landed on my butt, and hit my head, so most of me hurts,” you grumbled, whimpering when he finally helped you up, and out of the tub, standing you on the mat as he peeled the curtain from your wet skin.
“What hurts, baby, I’ll kiss it an’ make it better,” he murmured, draping your towel around your shoulders, as you winced and chuckled.
“Easier to ask what doesn’t.”
“Okay. What doesn’t hurt.” You met his eye, wrinkling your nose, before you sighed.
“My face...that’s about it.” Chris cooed softly, his hands sliding up to cup your jaw gently before pecking the tip of your nose.
“There,” he started, repeating the peck to both cheeks, “there,” your forehead, “there,” before meeting your eye, “and here,” he murmured, leaning in to press a soft kiss to your lips. You hummed softly, hands resting on his sides, wincing at the ache in them.
Pulling back, Chris carefully scooped you up, pausing so you could shut the light off before he carried you ot the bedroom.
“Chrissy, I gotta shower.”
“Not right now, clumsy. Right now, you’re gonna relax an’ I’m gonna getcha somethin’ for the ache.” You sighed, catching hand, as he looked up at you.
“...thanks, Chrissy.”
“ANythin’ f’r you, darlin’,” he chuckled, kissing you quickly, before moving to get you some medicine.

Christmas Countdown - Day 9
Tradition
Tumblr media
(gif not mine. credit to owner)
Fandom: NCIS: New Orleans
Pairing: Dwayne Pride x Reader
Word Count: 217 (Sorry, but Pride isn’t really my strong point writing wise, but hopefully it’s still enough)
You hadn’t been to Dwayne’s house since before he had hung up his decorations and you were curious about how he would decorate his space. As you entered, you immediately looked around, the tree was larger than you imagined; coloured lights flickered on and off, the baubles shined in the daylight and the small ornaments drew your attention even more. Little snowmen and Santas along with an angel or two.
On the mantelpiece a stocking with the word ‘Dwayne’ was embroidered into the top and you walked straight over to it, examining it closely. “This is beautiful, Dwayne.”
“It is. My mom had it made it for me as a kid.” he explained as he ran his fingers across the fine stitching work. “I hang it up wherever I am each holiday season, without fail, it’s a tradition now. For me, anyway.” he smiled and took the stocking off the mantle.
Dwayne handed it to you so you could take an ever closer look. The stitch work was perfect, better than you had ever seen, and you couldn’t help but wonder the price for such a perfect piece of work. You smiled yourself and delicately placed it back into the special agent’s hands and he pinned it carefully back where it was.

Christmas Fics - Day 1
Tumblr media
Day 1 - Decorating the Christmas Tree.
It was that time of year again, you thought as you looked around the house. A house that had it not been for your wife Y/N, you would still be living above the office. You smile happily watching your daughter, Laurel, her husband and their two young children, your grandchildren, helping you as you set up the Christmas tree.
It was the 1st of December which as family tradition would have it, you all gathered around to decorate the Christmas tree whilst the first of the Christmas carols played out on the stereo. Laurel who has Bethany, the youngest of her two children cradled in her arms looks over at you with a smile so bright you think she's beaming at you, and says excitedly
"Turn on the lights dad!" You look down at your grandson Harley and ask
"What d'ya think Harley? Should we turn on the Christmas lights?" The small boy is jumping up and down so much in excitement that you can't help but chuckle and take that as his answer. Plugging the lights into the socket and flicking the switch you beam as your front living room is illuminated by light. Y/N comes to stand next to you and picks Harley up, she places a kiss on his cheek and he giggles before he reaches out for you. You take your grandson in your arms and he places a kiss on the tip of your nose before whispering
"Thank you Papa!"

Hannah comes out as bisexual. Only Tammy isn’t that shocked.
i really liked this prompt! thanks anon!!
The team had gathered at the Tru Tone for a couple of rounds of drinks after their case, a tradition Hannah carried on even without Pride leading the team. Tammy was the first to spot the woman, watching her with a careful eye as she walked across the bar toward the table of agents. There was something about the woman that made her feel unsettled, but Tammy had absolutely no clue as to why the woman had triggered the uneasiness she felt.
The woman had continued on her path, making her way right toward Hannah. Tammy narrowed her eyes as she watched the woman, along with the remainder of the team. They watched as the mystery woman laid her hand on Hannah’s shoulder, gaining the attention of the agent. Tammy felt jealousy in the pit of her stomach, the woman was comfortable enough to approach Hannah, yet Tammy had no idea who she was.
Hannah’s expression softened as she turned around to face the new presence at the table. She masked the shock she felt at being approached in a bar and smiled at the woman. “Alex, hi.”
The woman’s hand ran along Hannah’s arm, causing Tammy to tighten her grip on her beer. She realized that this was a woman Hannah had some form of a relationship with, causing her jealousy to grow. She knew she was shooting daggers at the woman and if the team hadn’t been focused on Hannah’s interaction with Alex, they would have noticed.
“Do you want to join me for a drink? Maybe even more after a while? I had a lot of fun last time.”
Hannah choked on her drink when Alex’s words processed in her brain. She hadn’t come out to the team yet, but this woman was doing it for her. She took a deep breath before shaking her head at the woman. “Maybe another time. I’m busy right now.”
Alex looked around the table, finally noticing Tammy’s expression toward her. She smirked before leaning down and pressing a kiss to Hannah’s cheek, walking away without another word. This caused Tammy to roll her eyes and take a swig of her beer. As she did so, she looked around the table, assessing the reactions the rest of the team had to the interaction. The boys all looked to Hannah for an explanation, meaning none of them had noticed the reaction Tammy provided.
“Well, that was awkward,” Hannah mumbled, avoiding the gaze of her team. She thought to herself for a moment before addressing the situation. “As you may have gathered from that, I’m bisexual. I didn’t think it would ever come up, so I never said anything.”
Tammy simply smiled and sipped her beer again, raising an eyebrow at Hannah. Based on the facial expressions of her team members, she had been the only one not surprised by the confession. Sebastian seemed to notice the lack of reaction from Tammy and decided to call her out on it.
“You already used your FBI skills and profiled her, didn’t you, Tammy?”
Hannah bit her lip to stifle a laugh as she met Tammy’s eyes. She wondered how the other woman would answer, the two hadn’t discussed Hannah’s coming out to the team yet.
Tammy’s lips curled into a grin and she winked at Hannah before turning to Sebastian. “Are you saying that because I’m gay, I always know when somebody else is?”
Sebastian started to stammer and looked to Chris for help to no avail.
“I’m messing with you, baby.” Tammy shook her head. “Hannah told me a while ago when I had her over to my old apartment one night. She knew I was gay so she felt comfortable telling me.”
Hannah smiled as she recalled the moments Tammy hadn’t mentioned; the kiss that followed the confession, the way Tammy’s breath hitched when Hannah’s lips met her neck, the thrill she got when Tammy whispered her name, the countless number of nights that followed suit. All these things were a secret between the two, one Hannah enjoyed keeping. Hannah always enjoyed the high she received when she could tease Tammy at work— whether it was the unbuttoning of the top button of her blouse, the subtle touches to Tammy’s lower back, or even the “accidental” brushes against each other in passing. Hannah knew Tammy’s weaknesses like she knew the back of her hand.
LaSalle interrupted Hannah’s thoughts. “So, is this a possible girlfriend for you?”
Hannah immediately shook her head. “I haven’t seen her since one of my first weeks in New Orleans. I guarantee she doesn’t even remember my name.”
Tammy smiled to herself and leaned back in her chair. She wasn’t sure how long things with Hannah would last, but she was happy to finally have something after years of troubled relationships. She was happy to keep things between the two of them, simply because it meant having whatever it was that they had with Hannah.

Wrong place, Right time.
Tumblr media
Just a cute little Drabble for me and my only other Hamilstan @alkow ❤️🖤
Warnings:none
Y/N was new to New Orleans and in need of a job. So she called the only person she knew. Her best friend Douglas Hamilton, the Mayor of New Orleans. He offered her a job as his very own P.A. She accepted it straight away because she knew what he was like and would be able to put him in line if things got out of hand. But time changes things.
Y/N is having a hard time in her office whenever she is at work now. Knowing she will see him, she will talk to him. She doesn't know how it could have happened. He was the only one she trusted with her life. He was her best friend for so many years. A couple of people even joked, he was like a big brother to her. He cared for her, protected her. But just a few nights ago, she realized her feelings for him have changed.
Y/N tried so hard to hide her feelings whenever he was close to her. Nobody else noticed her feelings, luckily. She decided to take a few days off. There was this very nice guy in her neighbourhood. His name was Dwayne Pride. He worked for NCIS. He asked her out a couple of times and Y/N always had a great time with him so she called him.
She knows she doesn't love him. But she was hoping she could distract herself with him. She went to the grocery store to buy some food she wanted to cook for him. She remembers that Dwayne kissed her and she was sick of being so alone so she kissed back but felt nothing. She wanted to forget about Douglas. After closing the door to her apartment behind her she started to prepare everything for a romantic dinner for two. A beautiful dress and sexy underwear, dark lipstick, her beautiful hair cascading down her shoulders and some smooth jazz playing softly in the background. She was waiting for Dwayne.
The sun set down hours ago. Y/N realized he wouldn’t show up anymore...but then someone knocked on her door. She took a deep breath and went to open the door with seductive eyes. But it was not Dwayne, it was Douglas Hamilton. The man she was trying to forget about. He looked at her, surprised but also a bit turned on. He was looking for words to say... “I...I am...I was not expecting this but...” Douglas stuttered out. Y/N looked up, shocked, wondering. What was he doing here? Why was he here? “Douglas... why... how... what are you doing here? You are not supposed to be here.”
Douglas just smiled at her. He heard her calling Dwayne, he noticed that his Y/N was not his Y/N anymore lately. He went to Dwayne, told him to stay away. Douglas knew, Dwayne was not whom Y/N really wanted. With his cute smirk he got closer to tell her....
“I am where I am supposed to be, here with you my love. It’s always been you that I loved and always will be.” After a few seconds Y/N replied “I love you too Douglas. I have for a very long time. I was just to afraid to tell you in case it ruined our friendship”
“Nothing will ever come between us baby. I promise from now on it’s me and you together. Always” Douglas said “Always” replied Y/N before she finally pulled Douglas down by the lapels of his suit jacket and kissed him like it was the last time she would ever get to kiss him.

                                 All Together Now
(Tiva wedding, with a LOT of big guests!)
The wedding day had come and gone. Vows were said, tears were shed, ridiculous ‘toasts’ were given. ‘But it had truly been a wonderful day’, Ziva thought.
She and Tony had reunited after years of being apart, they had a daughter, Tali, who was the cutest thing ever.
They told their friends they could invite any friends they wanted, and the turn out was definitely huge!
The guests included:
Former JAG members Harmon Rabb jr and Sarah Mackenzie.
Dwayne Pride and his NCIS team in New Orleans.
Steven Mcgarrett and his 5-0 buddies.
Angus Macgyver and his buddies.
Walter O’brian from Team Scorpion in LA.
Thomas Magnum and one of his buddies.
And surprisingly, when the minister couldn’t make it, a tiny, fierce woman by the name of Hetty offered to fill in. (and when asked if her minister license was legit, she mentioned that she had officiated her 2 agent’s wedding a year ago in LA.)
The vows were truly beautiful. The reception was amazing.
The best day of their lives.
I’ve had this idea in my head for a while about writing a drabble that included the entire JAG/NCIS verse. then this came to me. Hope you enjoy it.

Week from Hell (NCIS: NOLA drabble)
Fandom: NCIS: New Orleans
Word Count: 1290
Pairing: Chris/Pride
Summary: Everything seems so small and pointless when someone is in the hospital.
Warning: None
Disclaimer: I own nothing. Which is probably a good think considering the shit I put these characters through sometimes.
Running a hand through his hair Pride stared unseeingly through the hospital window. Around him he could hear some people talking in low voices trying to get their minds off of whatever was happening while others screamed and cried as they received news that no one should get.
He had been trying to ignore all of them but he couldn't. Every sob and soft prayer felt like a knife in his heart as he waited for his own news.
When he had gotten the call he had been halfway to the bar wanting nothing more than to get lost in the music and routine of the work. It had been one hell of a week and having some time to himself so he could try to figure out what had happened sounded like perfection.
Then Hannah had called and what little grasp he had on the calm he tried to surrounded himself with shattered. She hadn't given much detail outside of telling him that Chris was in the hospital but that had been all he needed.
More than a few laws had been broken by him on that drive.
He hadn't been thinking about that though. No, his mind had been filled with the sound of Christopher growling angrily as he stormed out of the apartment slamming the door shut behind him. The third time that had happened this week alone. Something that wasn't normal for either of them.
Pride wasn't the type of person to argue over petty things. He knew that there was no reason for it. All it would lead to was him and whoever he was fighting with having a horrible day. That was the last thing that he wanted.
For some reason everything had been piling up that week until even the most simple thing had him wanting to pull his own hair out. Which seemed to be exactly what Christopher had been feeling as well.
Pride loved the younger man with all of his heart but for some reason everything he did was getting on his last nerve. Small things that he normally laughed at and found adorable made him want to yell.
It wasn't a good situation all around and it was only a matter of time until things overflowed and that fight did happen. And it did. Again and again and again they fought over things that they had no reason to fight over until one of them left.
That was a lie. It wasn't until one of them left. It was until Chris left. It didn't matter if they were in Prides apartment or Chriss house. The younger man was always the one that stood up and walked away. Normally after one of them had said something that never should have been said in the first place.
He felt like such an asshole. He had driven the man he loved from his house over and over and for what? Truly what had they been fighting about? Nothing. They had fights about things neither of them cared about because they had a horrible week.
That wasn't how it went with them. It didn't matter who was having a hard time they always ended up curled up on the couch with a home cooked meal. The only words spoken on those nights were soft I love yous as they laid in bed tucked against each other.
Instead emotions and tempers flared. The things that he had said to his lover… He would never be able to forgive himself for them. He didn't deserve to be forgiven for them.
One of the things his Mama always taught him was that the meaning of love was to tell someone all your hurts and insecurities and trust that they would never use them against you. He had broken that.
A part of him knew that he hadn't acted alone. Chris had been right beside him barking out things that he knew would hurt Pride. They had both been aiming to make the other feel as much pain as they could.
By all rights he should be mad and hurt by the younger man. For awhile he was. He had been dreading seeing him when they both got off work. Now that was all he wanted.
If he could just see him than everything would be fine. All the images of the man he loved laying on the ground bleeding out would be gone. He'd be alive. He needed him to be alive.
"Dwayne," Hannahs voice suddenly cut through his thoughts making him turn around, "Come on."
"What?" he questioned not understanding what she was saying.
A calloused hand gently wrapped around his wrist and began to pull him down a busy hallway. Pride felt like his heart was going to pound out of his chest. Had he missed something? Last he heard Chris was still in surgery. Unless…
Placing his hand on the wall Pride forced them both to come to a stop. The tears that he had been able to suppress began to fall in earnest as his mind raced over everything he had never said to his lover.
Had he known? Had Pride done his best to never make Christopher question how much he loved him? God he wished he could answer that.
"Dwayne!" Hannah called out her hands cupping his face, "It's okay. He's alive. Chris is alive. Dwayne! He's alive!"
Pride how know idea how long she had been talking, but the words finally sunk in. Reaching out to grip her shoulders tightly he stared into her eyes trying to look for any sign that she was lying.
"He's alive?" Pride questioned his voice cracking.
"Yes," Hannah assured with a smile, "The bullet didn't hit anything major. They got the bullet out without a problem. The only issue was how much blood he had lost, but they can fix that easily enough. They said he'll probably wake up soon even. Chris is alright."
A part of Pride wanted to fall to the floor right then and there and thank every god he had ever heard of. Instead he let himself be led through a maze of hospital hallways until they were outside a partially opened door.
With one last push from Hannah Pride walked in and saw his lover laying in bed. Wires connected him up to machines making him look so small and fragile. Two words that he never would associate with Christopher LaSalle.
Stumbling over to the bed Pride shakily reached out placing his hand on top of his lovers. A broken sob fell from his lips as he felt the rough hand he knew so well touch his. It was so much colder than it had ever been.
Falling into a chair beside the bed Pride let his head rest against the bed next to their intertwined hands.
"I'm sorry," he apologized his words muffled by the bedding, "I'm sorry, Christopher. I should never have… I'm sorry. Please, don't leave. Don't leave me."
"N-Never."
For a moment Pride was sure he had imagined the younger man talking to him. There was no way that he had been forgiven that easily. Yet as he lifted his head he saw tired blue eyes staring down at him.
"Never leave you," Chris offered his voice somehow sounding weak and firm at the same time.
"Chris," Pride tried to start leaning in close so they were breathing the same air.
"Long as you want me."
"Always. I'll always want you. I love you more than I could ever say, Sweetheart. I can never tell you how sorry I am for..."
"King. Don't."
"No, I never should have..."
"Hush, Darling. Please. Just… Stay?"
"Of course. Christopher, I love you."
"I love you too, King."

LaSalle + 190
Tumblr media
LaSalle + "We can't do that here!"
The wall was cold behind you as you bumped into it, giggle bubbling out of your lips as you tugged at Chris' hand, and turned to nudge him against the wall, leaning in until you could drag your lips against his throat. He groaned, hand curling over your hip, other hand tangling in your hair, as he pulled your head so he could seal his lips against yours, sliding his tongue out to flick against yours. When your fingers dropped to tug at his belt, Chris pulled back, eyes darted from your face to the door you'd only half-shut behind the two of you that led out to the bar.
"We can't do that here!" he hissed, but you huffed, tilting your head to see behind you, before popping the button on his jeans. "Y/N."
"C'mon, Chris, don't you wanna fuck me?" you purred, reaching out blindly to pull the door completely shut before pressing in a little closer. Chris groaned, tugging at your hair, as you hummed happily. "Come on, 'bama."
"...damn it, sugarbelle," he growled, as you yanked his jeans open, and shoved them and his boxers down. As soon as you did, his hands rucked up your skirt, and hoisted you up, slamming you back against the wall as you wrapped your legs around his hips with a grin. "Y'er bein' a bad girl, aintcha, sugarbelle?"
"Why? You gonna punish me?" you answered, lips ticked into a smirk, before you whimpered as his teeth grazed your pulse point.
"Damn right I am."

Day 2 - Nose Kisses
Tumblr media
(gif belongs to of-badges-and-guns)
Valentine Drabbles
“Why didn't you wake me?” you asked groggily as you made your way to the kitchen to meet with Pride.
“There was no reason to disturb you. You deserved a lie in. Besides, you looked far too peaceful and I would’ve felt bad for waking you.” The skin around the agent's eyes crinkled together as he smiled over at you rubbing the sleep out of your eyes.
After taking a glass from the shelf, you open the fridge and take out a carton of orange juice to pour into it. Before you had the chance, Pride took the drinks carton out of your hand and placed it on the kitchen surface. His hands settle on your hips and you wrap your arms around his neck, “Good morning, Dwayne.” you beamed.
You turn your head away and cover your mouth to let a yawn to leave your mouth and Pride followed it with a chuckle. “And a very good morning to you too.”
Your eyes lingered with each other's before Pride leaned in and pressed a passionate kiss to your lips. The kiss lasted longer than you expected, and you melted into it. You allowed the kiss to mutually break off and your eyes fixated with his. Pride's smile always made the day worth it and as his smile filled up your vision. Dwayne leaned forward once more and placed another kiss on the bridge of your nose and several more as he made his way back down to kiss your lips once more.
“I love you, Dwayne Pride.” you gushed.
“Ah, and I love you too, sweetheart.”

Christmas Fic Day 12
Tumblr media
Christmas Carol's - @captain-dwayne-pride requested I did this one with the nola team.
There was a buzz of anticipation and excitement around the office as the looming Christmas Carol competition neared. It would be so much better if you had Dwayne joining you for the event, however he was previously engaged or so you had thought.
As each of you prepared for the evening, practicing harmonies and getting the timing just right, you gasp as a pair of strong arms wrap themselves around your waist.
"Dwayne?" You ask before turning in his arms. Upon seeing the face of the one person who could really bring the team together you jump up and down before placing a kiss on his lips.
"I'm so glad you made it!" You say breaking the kiss. He chuckles and caresses your cheek.
"Ah'm glad Ah made it too. Had Tammy come to me and tell me that ya have all been moppin' round without me" he says raising an eyebrow at each of you and you gasp, about to argue with him when Sebastian said
"We were not mopping around" you chuckle and say
"We kinda were. But we're glad your here. Maybe you can join us?" You ask, eyelids fluttering to try and convince him to join you. He shakes his head and chuckles
"Of course ah'll join ya" he says and you beam.
Once at the event, you and the team are practicing out the back when the group before you is announced. They walk onto stage and as soon as they start your all surprised as to how they even managed to get this far into the competition, not that all of them were bad but it wasn't exactly like they were good either. Gathering together in a quick group meeting Tammy whispers
"Game plan, be the best that we can be, and do better than we've ever done before" she looks around at each of you before placing her hand in the middle of your circle. Everyone puts their hands in before chanting and getting into their positions backstage. You were looking forward to competing and now that Dwayne was here, by your side, everything was perfect.
