hmm. today i will post my thoughts on the goth subculture
#cuz well i havea few#nawthin groundbreakin fersure. jus thinkin#but i feel like the whole 'goth is a STRICTLY MUSIC BASED SUBCULTURE!!!' is like simply not even true anymore & may come off as gatekeepy#i kno my general goth history facts btw im pretty invested in the goth side of things#n im an avid goth music lover as well#but i think its very limitin to describe it as such cause#goth has ties to so many things beyond music#even if ya consider it music scene originated#to me its.. havin an appreciation for the darker n macabre stuff. personally.#it can translate into music. it can b fashion - exacly why gothic fashion is so.. noticeable!#it can b poetry#it can b a style of life n a world view (which i primarily see it as)#n which is why i strongly consider my gothic&guro lolita 2 b very goth even if it doesn normally fit da definition#im goth so its goth. ok
