COMMEMORATIVE MESSAGE IN HONOR OF THE 244TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE INDEPENDENCE OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA
“We, therefore, the Representatives of the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, in General Congress, Assembled, appealing to the Supreme Judge of the world for the rectitude of our intentions, do, in the Name, and by Authority of the good People of these Colonies, solemnly publish and declare, That these United Colonies are, and of Right ought to be Free and Independent States; that they are Absolved from all Allegiance to the British Crown, and that all political connection between them and the State of Great Britain, is and ought to be totally dissolved; and that as Free and Independent States, they have full Power to levy War, conclude Peace, contract Alliances, establish Commerce, and to do all other Acts and Things which Independent States may of right do. And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes and our sacred Honor.”
Ladies and gentlemen, to all the people of the United States of America, to all our remaining living veterans of the Second World War of 1939-1945 and of all conflicts past and present and their families, to our veterans, active servicemen and women and reservists of  the entire United States Armed Forces, to all the immediate families, relatives, children and grandchildren of the deceased veterans, fallen service personnel and wounded personnel of our military services and civil uniformed security and civil defense services, to all our workers, farmers and intellectuals, to our youth and personnel serving in youth uniformed and cadet organizations and all our athletes, coaches, judges, team managers and front office staff, sports trainers and sports officials, and to all our sports fans, to all our workers of culture, music, traditional arts and the theatrical arts, radio, television, digital media and social media, cinema, heavy and light industry, business and the press, and to all our millions of people of the free world:
Today, as one united people, we mark yet another year since the pivotal events of July 4, 1776, the day in which the 13 colonies of then British North America officially declared independence from the United Kingdom as the first of the great republics of the modern world, the United States of America, through an historic act made by several representatives of the Second Continental Congress - Thomas Jefferson, John Adams, Benjamin Franklin, Robert Livingston and Roger Sherman – in the city of Philadelphia, Pennslyvania, and approved by almost the whole Congress on this very day 244 years ago led by its president John Hancock, which was the climax of a month-long efforts by its delegates on the future political destiny of the colonies, which had been at war against the Royal Navy and British Army for over a year. It was the definite act that sealed the decision made just 2 days ago by the Congress that given the circumstances faced by these colonies, the Congress, acting on the wishes of the whole people for independence, offically resolved that such is the desire of such a sovereign chamber representing the interests of the peoples of these colonies and thus it is their responsibilty to formally declare the political separation of these colonies from the British government and Parliament in London under the republican form.
The shots fired at Lexington and Concord 245 years ago was only the spark that began the long road towards the independence longed for by the American people and her armed forces supported by the governments, people and armed forces of France and Spain in the Revolutionary War,which would end in 1781 with the victory in Yorktown and the subsequent Treaty of Paris much later. It was only the first of many events that would shape the identity and character of our homeland to the superpower status and fame it enjoys today as a beacon of liberty and independence to the millions all over the globe. Today the billions of Americans remember with deep pride and honor the millions of men and women of her Armed Forces, the National Guard and state defense forces, as well as of the local state and community police and fire departments, beach lifeguard, forest firefighting and emergency management service units and the federal law enforcement organizations who in times of peace and war have offered their lives for the defense and protection of our homeland and people, many of them paying their ultimate sacrifices for the cause of the freedom and independence of the republic born out of the great revolution of 1776, as well as the people who through their time and talents brought glory and honor to the homeland and spread to their world the American way of life and culture, as well as our place as a sporting powerhouse, and ordinary citizens of all ways of life who even risked their lives to save others and thus placed their marks on the altar of our independent republic. In this wide land streching from the Pacific to the Atlantic, either in the snowy expanses of Alaska, the tropical lands of Hawaii, and in our vast and diverse landscape, whenever the people of all races, genders, nationalities and religions live, work and gather, as the nation has changed so much in these past 244 years, the character of this people will never change – a people humble, happy, loving, friendly and ready to share with others and the world at large.
We celebrate this great day in the dire circumstances of millions of Americans having suffered and died from the COVID-19 pandemic that has severely cripped the country, couped with a nationwide desire to unite millions of people to end the stigmas that have long divided this country by race and way of living. In these past months, the world witnessed how much this country has endured yet another sad chapter of its long history, first, thru the sacrifices and hard work of the millions of medical workers who have been working very hard to treat the sick even at the cost of their lives, especially those who have been afflicted by this pandemic, which has claimed thousands of lives nationwide, thru the hard work by those who have been making PPEs for the medical workers and face masks for the millions, as well as manufacturing equipment for the hospitals and medical centers, thru the best efforts by the medical profession to help produce vaccines and drugs against this pandemic, thru the hard work by those in the private sector who are still working to provide goods and services, thru the hard work and sacrifices by those working in agriculture, industry, the media and many other critical sectors, thru the brave services rendered by those who are a part of the armed forces, the National Guard, state defense forces, federal and local law enforcement and emergency units, and by the simple actions of millions in this great country not just to keep safe and healthy in the midst of this global crisis and support all those who have suffered a lot by it but also to ensure the preservation of national unity and the need to end the various social problems that this country and her people have encounted over the centuries.  Having endured both national and global crises before, it is the fervent wish today of her millons of people that, united as one nation and people they will overcome these trials, rise above expectations, and become once more a beacon of hope and a helping hand to millions everywhere in the globe. It is the prayer of millions of her citizens of diverse faiths that the country recovers from this crisis as a united nation and for the unity and prosperity of all her citizens, the indigeous communities and the expat communties that call it home.
It is with great honor that Americans everywhere mark this great day with great but simple celebrations as the whole country celebrates yet another year of independence and recalls once more the sacrifices of the millions of men and women in the federal and local uniformed services, the hard work and labor of her people in all fields of endeavor and the proud culture and tradition it shares to the millions of people everywhere in the globe. In these evolving times for the Union, her people and the uniformed services of the republic and the local communities, together with the nation’s industries and corporations, united more than ever as one, are determined, standing under one flag, to show the world that no matter what happens every American man and woman will be ready to risk life and limb to live the values that are part of the heritage of our vast country as the beacon of freedom and independence, the hand of assistance to the suffering of disasters everywhere, the strong arm of defense of the free nations of the world and the spirit of friendship, cooperation, excellence, sportsmanship and fair play of her people. In the midst one one of the hardest periods of its history, with millions affected across all sectors of society, this day marks a day of solidarity and unity among the milions of citizens of this great and wide land who hope that following the sadness of these tragic times, the nation will soon return back to the hopes of a happy and prosperous future.
As millions of Americans safely welcome the anniversary of national independence in the midst of these two national crises,one of the hardest trials the country has faced since its independence as the first of the great republics of the modern world, the nation and millions all over the world hope that these trials in which the country is current facing will be overcome by the grace of the Almighty, by the strength and great force of her people and by the efforts of millions not just to assist each other but also to ensure the legacy of the heroes and martyrs of the nation’s armed forces, state defense forces, and federal and local law enforcement and emergency agencies, the heroes and martyrs among the nation’s healthcare sector which has contributed strongly to this ongoing global health crisis, the civilian heroes and martyrs who risked their lives in the performance of acts of heroism, and the many people have made the nation proud through their services in various fields of endeavor, in sports, culture, industry and in film, radio and television in which they have introduced the world to this country, her diverse peoples and cultures, and the history and sporting heritage of this wide land, will be honored for generation upon generation of Americans, knowing that their legacy to their lives and this very land, thru simple actions to our neighbor and for the unity of the people and the country, will remain in all our hearts.
To all our dear military, police, fire, EMS, forest service and border guard servicemen and women, agents and detectives and our  veterans of military and civil security operations within the country and abroad, as well as to all our national athletes and coaches in sports, we remember you today with our deepest respect and gratitude, for the service you gave for this country will be honored for generations to come. Today and always you will always be the beacons of hope for the youth of our tomorrow and for the millions of the people of the world an inspiration and guide towards a brighter future for all of humanity. And to all who died for the sake of this great nation, today and always, we keep you all in our remembrance in our memories, for your legacies which sustained the young nation in the early years of her existence will continue to guide our republic today and in the years to come as it walks forward the third century of independence and beyond. As the United States and her people march on as one to the 250th Indepedence Day in 2026, more than ever, it marches on with the spirit of determination, bravery and courage of her heroes and martyrs and the great spirit of freedom and independence that has led this country out of the womb of foreign dominance and into victory after victory in the past, the very same spirit will guide this country today and into the future.
In conclusion, may we who join the American people in celebration of this the 244th year anniversary of the historic declaration of the independence of the United States of America declared on this day in Philadelphia by the delegates of the Second Continental Congress, as one united people, mark this important day with fitting tributes and always hold on to the legacy and promise of this great land for the inheritance of our future generations and joyfully celebrate the very day in which the American people broke the chains of British colonial governance, which brought great suffering to the peoples of the colonies which make up the first states of our Union, and opened wide the door of a new era of the history of humanity with the creation of this the first independent republic in the American continent and in the modern world!

After Vern Unsworth, a British diver who helped rescue the trapped Thai soccer team, called Elon Musk’s attempt at a submarine rescue “just a PR stunt” that had ‘absolutely no chance of working,” Musk has chosen to be angry online.

In a series of tweets Sunday morning, Musk referred to Unsworth as a “pedo,” requested video of the cave rescue, retracted that request, then promised proof that his submarine could have, in fact, performed the rescue.
It’s a lot.
Never saw this British expat guy who lives in Thailand (sus) at any point when we were in the caves. Only people in sight were the Thai navy/army guys, who were great. Thai navy seals escorted us in — total opposite of wanting us to leave.

The tweetstorm was in response to a tweet from professor and New York Times writer Zeynep Tufekci, who wrote an op-ed arguing that Musk could learn a lesson about Silicon Valley hubris from the incident. (Her thread on celebrity intervention in rescue efforts is a great read.)

The Mexican Cabinet,
Recognising the urgency of the attack and its implications affecting United States - Mexico relations,
Regretting the loss of United States citizens’ kidnapping in the attack,
1. Dispatches an investigation team with 20 officers of the Investigation Division from the Federal Police to the Sonora State of Mexico, under the following mandate:      a. Investigate into the attack on the bus in Sonora State, with the following steps to be taken:           i. Create a complete passenger manifest of all those present on the bus, taking into account the following:                   1. Name of all people,                   2. Nationality,                   3. Age of the victims,                   4. Origin and background of all passengers aboard the bus This will be carried out after feds have arrived at the scene, have a look into the bodies and attempt to identify them. Pictures of the bodies’ faces will be taken for identification. They can enlist the help of families should any come forward. Family members will be asked to identify the person in the picture and all the above information. After which, they will receive the body for burial,           ii. Obtain details on where the bus was headed towards and why did they choose a remote dirt route compared to the much safer Mexican Highway system in Sonora (connects the border to pretty much the whole state),           iii. Obtain a report on the background of the 8 kidnapped victims, such as:                   1. Known relationships, connections and associates. This will result in a report with a list of names, aliases, their respective position in society and known connections to cartels or government officials,                   2. Educational background, political background (if any exists), members of the family and family associates, connections and relationships,                   3. Recent actions carried out by the kidnapped 8, such as:                                 a. Areas visited by them, such as cities, states, buildings, restaurants, etc..                                 b. If CCTV footage is available, obtain records of CCTV footage and witness testimony of the kidnapped people, such as what did they do, when were they last seen,                                 c. Look into their bank accounts and bank transactions should it exist, then have the respective banks deliver a copy of the victims’ accounts and transactions to the feds,                                 d. If the family members or themselves have received suspicious messages. If it exists, collect these messages and deliver them back to the Federal Police HQ in order to trace it for:                                               i. Any fingerprints on the letter,                                               ii. Trace the ink source,                                               iii. Any traces of biomaterial that can be traced back to a region or individual,                                               iv. Visit the bus wreckage site being sealed off with ‘POLICE LINE DO NOT CROSS’ and transport the bus wreckage back to the Sonora federal office specialising in investigation to obtain the following:                                                         1. Fingerprints left on the bus, if any exists,                                                         2. Any materials or items of suspicion left behind on the bus and the crime scene before transporting the bus wreckage,                                                         3. Type of cartridge fired at the bus (e.g. 5.56mm NATO, 7.62 x 39mm M43, 9mm) and traces of explosives or fragments on the crash site or on the bus, indicating a bomb or grenade being used in the attack,                                               v. Have the feds seal off the area having tire tracks and attempt to identify where it was leading towards. Also check with Federal database to identify all cartels active in the region,                                               vi. The federal police will be assisted by 30 Bell 206 helicopters equipped with powerful searchlights and specialised transport vehicles that allow the feds to travel around quickly. The vehicles will contain weapons for the feds (MP5K, MP5A3, MP7, M16A2 and Glock 18) and appropriate investigation tools. (fingerprint search, torches, biochemical testing apparatus, etc…);
2. Requests that the Mexican law enforcement agencies and the Mexican military to reinforce the border and protect American lives in Mexico, carrying out the following tasks:      a. Reinforce the security at the Mexican-United States border by doing the following actions:           i. Create a Border Patrol contingency of 600 soldiers, 200 Marines and 2,800 armed police force stationing at all border checkpoints. This will provide additional security to the previously stated directive to boost border security and check vehicles. They will be supervised by a Lieutenant Colonel and a Police Chief Inspector. The soldiers and police will be supported by:                   1. 5 additional UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters with a 4-man armed crew, M134 minigun and searchlights,                   2. 50 utility police Bell 206 helicopters equipped with searchlights that will be on standby to support the Black Hawk squadron if needed,                   3. The armed police force will wear NIJ Class II ballistic vests and be armed with an M16A2 rifle, FX-05 rifle or MP5A3 submachine gun. Sidearm will remain the Beretta 92 or Glock series pistol,                   4. Utility and armored vehicles to support their movements, which will be as follows:                                 a. 200 Humvees to transport soldiers and Marines,                                 b. 50 Panhard VBL all-terrain vehicle to be stationed in areas where the terrain is rough (mountains, sand dunes),                                 c. 50 Oshkosh Sand Cat all-terrain vehicles to help troops move throughout the desert,                                 d. 700 standard-issued police Ford F-150 vehicles armed with either the FN Minimi Mk 3 or M249 SAW, which is the standard operational procedure for the police tactical units,           ii. Have the border patrol contingency carry out the following mandate:                   1. Check every vehicle entering the US from Mexico for traces of narcotics or illegal substances using K9 dogs or physical searches of tires, bonnets, boot, under the seats, hidden under a truck’s cargo, gas cans and other known means of transporting drugs by cartels. Any illegal shipments of narcotics will be seized by the police,                   2. In remote desert areas, conduct reconnaissance operations on Sand Cat vehicles to search for illegal smuggling tunnels using Mexican Marines and armed police unit. Upon finding it, the police and Marines will neutralise the traffickers if they put up resistance or apprehend them if they surrender and place the trafficked people into police custody,                   3. Have the military and Marines on standby in guardhouses monitoring each vehicle for possible cartel members (racial profiling and stereotyping). The military has the authority to pull out a random suspect and conduct a body search if they feel suspicious,                    4. Be on very high alert for threats of attack by cartel members. They have full authority to use deadly force if they feel like an imminent attack is about to happen,      b. Protect the lives of American expatriates and other nationalities residing in Mexico by carrying out the following:           i. Requests the Federal Police and State Police to have both plain-clothed police officers and regular police officers with arms to increase their presence in areas where expats live across 32 states of Mexico. They will monitor the area for possible instances of danger and have the authority to detain a random member of the public for a body search,           ii. Have the police stations on high alert where they could be scrambled at a moment’s notice to respond to a 911 call or emergency dispatch call for backup,           iii. Extend the mandate of the Mexican military force already deployed on the streets of Mexico to provide armed security to the public, who will either neutralize or disable the following:                   1. Vehicles targeting a crowd (by shooting the vehicle),                   2. Armed men on the streets without proper identification,                   3. Any person caught assaulting a law enforcement member, a soldier or member of the public,           iv. Dispatch a 20-men strong military contingency to be placed at every United States Consulate in Mexico, with a 50-men strong military contingency for the Consulate General in Chihuahua and a 100-men strong military contingency for the US Embassy in Mexico City. These soldiers can either be from the Mexican Army or Mexican Marines. They will provide armed protection for the US diplomatic mission and if a state of emergency is raised, will be authorised to escort US diplomatic cars traveling around. This is only granted for the US diplomatic mission,           v. Requests that US federal agents staying in Mexico keep in close contact with the Mexican feds and the Mexican military in order to get immediate extraction or assistance if they risk being harmed or exposed in their line of duty;
3. Provides mental assistance and counselling to the Mexican families of those who lost their loved ones in the attack. For the United States citizens that were vanished, promise to bring them back home safely at all costs by:      a. Launching a nation wide investigation campaign in order to search for the identity of the missing American citizens, where ‘Missing Person’ posters will be distributed as well as on the radio, television and media,       b. Form a federal police task force in order to cooperate with the United States (if necessary) in order to obtain an alibi of their citizens,      c. Form a 500-men strong police task force, who will be plain clothed dressing as civilians. They will conduct reconnaissance operations, participate in monitoring radio and internet traffic as well as wiretapping operations in order to search for any mention of the missing person. The plain-clothed officers will conduct reconnaissance operations with assistance from the Mexican Navy Special Forces (FES) in order to conduct their operations without being exposed;
4. Reinforces the transparency and consistency of intel within the Mexican government to avoid contradiction within our own people and prevent leaking confidential nor unwanted information to outsiders, by means of but not limited to:      a. Release domestic press releases notifying all government officials about the details of the incident,      b. Conduct meetings to clarify the information,      c. Set up binding contracts for all government officials to sign to ensure confidentiality.

Elon Musk tweets he’ll “bet ya a signed dollar” that Thai cave rescuer is a “pedo”
Elon Musk seems not only intent on burning all the goodwill he earned for trying to help last week’s Thai cave rescue, but rolling around in its ashes, too. In a series of extraordinarily offensive, now deleted tweets, the SpaceX and Tesla CEO called a British diver who participated in last week’s dangerous rescue mission a “pedo guy,” adding in another tweet “bet ya a signed dollar it’s true.”
Musk’s tantrum was triggered by an interview the diver, Vern Unsworth, gave CNN International last Friday, in which he called the small submarine Musk had SpaceX engineers build a “PR stunt” and said Musk could stick it “where it hurts.” Though the submarine was intended to help the 12 boys stranded with their soccer coach navigate flooded cave passageways, Unsworth, who helped plan the rescue operation and recruited other cave diving experts, said it “had absolutely no chance of working.”
Unworth added that Musk “had no conception of what the cave passage was like. The submarine, I believe, was about 5 foot 6 long, rigid, so it wouldn’t have gone round corners or round any obstacles. It wouldn’t hadn’t have made the first 50 meters into the cave from the dive start point.” When the reporter mentioned that Musk had gone into the cave on Tuesday, Unsworth said he was “asked to leave very quickly. And so he should have been.”

The rescue mission, made even more challenging by monsoon season, claimed the life of a Thai Navy seal before all boys were saved last week.
This is not the first time that Musk has clashed with a member of the cave rescue team. As confirmation came in that the last group of boys and their coach had been freed on July 10, the head of the rescue mission, Narongsak Osatanakorn, told reporters that “although [Musk’s] technology is good and sophisticated it’s not practical for this mission.”
In response, Musk dismissed the credentials of Ostanakorn, who led the joint command center coordinating the operation and is former acting governor of Chiang Rai, the province where the cave is located. In a tweet he said Ostanakorn was “described inaccurately as ‘rescue chief'” and “is not the subject matter expert” (the Columbus Dispatch reports that Ostanakorn holds a Master’s degree from Ohio State University, where he studied geodetic engineering and surveying).
Though Musk’s tweet about Ostanakorn was sharply criticized, many still gave him credit for his efforts. After all, engineering a submarine in a few days to save a group of children is an impressive and laudable feat. While Musk is known for going on strange Twitter rants, however, his attack on Unsworth is an entirely different stratosphere. In addition to defaming Unsworth in a particularly heinous way, the implication that a British diver would only go to Thailand, one of the world’s top diving destinations, for child sex tourism is problematic and arguably racist, as many have pointed out.

He didn’t just call the British rescuer in Thailand a pedophile. He called him a pedophile because he couldn’t imagine another reason for a white guy to be in Thailand. Which is a false assumption. Sometimes white guys visit Thailand to show off their useless submarines.

MESSAGE IN HONOR OF THE 76TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE CONCLUSION OF THE BATTLE OF STALINGRAD, THE 74th ANNIVERSARY OF THE BEGINNING OF THE BATTLE OF MANILA AND THE 6TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE DEATH OF EX-US NAVY SEAL SNIPER CHRIS KYLE
Ladies and gentlemen, to all the people of the United States of America, to all our remaining living veterans of the Second World War of 1939-1945 and of all conflicts past and present and their families, to our veterans, active servicemen and women, reservists and families of the entire United States Armed Forces, and to all the uniformed military and civil security services of the Allied combatants of this conflict, to all the immediate families, relatives, children and grandchildren of the deceased veterans, fallen service personnel and wounded personnel of our military services and civil uniformed security and civil defense services, to all our workers, farmers and intellectuals, to our youth and personnel serving in youth uniformed and cadet organizations and all our athletes, coaches, judges, sports trainers and sports officials, and to all our sports fans, to all our workers of culture, music, traditional arts and the theatrical arts, radio, television, digital media and social media, cinema, heavy and light industry, agriculture, business, tourism and the press, and to all our people of the free world:
On this very day as we remember the Catholic, Protestant Christian and Orthodox Solemnity of the Presentation of the Child Jesus to the Temple and join in celebrating Groundhog Day with great honor we celebrate the anniversary of the founding of New York City in 1653, the 1848 signing of the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo and the end of the Mexican War, and the 1876 foundation of the National League of Major League Baseball, as well as the anniversary of the 1987 Philippine Constitution. And so today, most of all, as we prepare for the official conclusion of the professional football season in the United States of America, we today mark 3 very important national and international events of even greater importance, especially in the military history of the world.
Today, we remember the 76th year anniversary since the historic Allied victory in the Battle of Stalingrad, which ended on this day in 1943 when the Soviet Army forced the surrender of the remaining German soldiers who had been surrounded by determined Soviet soldiers for many months. The victory over the Axis powers in this part of the world ended the eastward thrust of the German armies and their allies on their road to the dominance of evil ideals over parts of what are now today Russia, the Ukraine, Belarus and the Caucasian republics, at a cost of millions of lives lost.
Today, we honor the memory of the beginning of the long Battle of Manila in 1945, the long battle that at a cost of millions of lives lost and a city hugely devastated, finally led to the liberation of the capital city of the Philippines and the entire metropolitan area from the military forces of the Empire of Japan.
And today, as one people and country, we honor the memory of a former military veteran of the United States Navy SEALs, who 6 years ago perished while helping a fellow veteran of the armed forces. Today we remember the sad death of the late Chief Petty Officer Chris Kyle, a retired serviceman of the Navy who was part of the victorious forces that liberated Iraq from the dictatorship of Saddam Hussein and brought freedom to this country. He, together with fellow veteran Chad Littefield, who were killed on this very day in a gun range located in Glen Rose, Texas, USA, just 6 years ago on this very day in a crime that shocked the whole country and her people on the eve of the Superbowl and their home state of Texas plunged into deep mourning is a sad and tragic event in the long history of this country. Their murders are just a few of the many crimes that have had been targeted towards veterans of the United States Armed Forces and their families.  Today, as we mark as one people the 6th year anniversary of this tragedy that stunned the American people, we remember not just this very tragic moment, but also recall the lives of those two people, who were veterans of the armed forces of the United States of America, whose lives were ended at an instant on this very day, and of their years of service to this great nation as personnel of her armed forces.
Chris and Chad, whose deaths we remember today, were veterans of our Armed Forces who have been part of our military operations in Iraq in the mid-2000s and were rooted in the deepest traditions of our fighting men and women, having been born to patriotic families who raised them to live the values of patriotism and service to the country and people. These two were part of the hundreds of thousands of American soldiers, sailors, Marines, airmen and coast guardsmen who were forward deployed to Iraq not just to overthrow a corrupt and cruel regime but also to prevent terrorism from spreading further into other parts of the Middle East. Even as this historic deployment has caused viable opposition from many sectors of society, the heroic actions made by these two and many others helped bring this country into the fold of the free and democratic world for the first time in many years. As the tides of change sweep once more into the world, as we recall the brave memory of these two American military heroes who served their country in times of war and peace we pause to honor their sacrifices not just for their country and for their families, but for the people they promised to serve with loyalty, obedience and discipline, and for being part of a generation of heroes in military service who are an inspiration to the millions of American youth as an example of true service to the country and her people. As America and her armed forces prepare to resound more to the louder calls of the people of Venezuela for the liberation of their country from the evil ideologies, as well as to the rising calls of oppression by millions in many other countries, the story of these two brave Americans and countless others serve as a reminder of the importance of service in the armed forces not just to assist in the defense of the homeland in war and in peace and in bringing relief to victims of natural and man-made calamities, but also as the vanguard of America’s thrust to defend international democracy and the social-capitalist way of life and business as lived by millions of Americans.
The people of our great nation today remember their tragic murders while having to help those who have been suffering in part by their service in the armed forces in fighting America’s international enemies in overseas deployments, especially in Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria and Yemen, combatting terror and bringing the light of freedom to millions of people in these countries.  These veterans too deserve all the help and assistance they need not just to overcome their trauma and depression, but also to make a successful transition to civilian life. They, who like Chris and Chad served their country at home and abroad and flew our glorious flag to glory in the battlefield, deserve all our love because of all they had risk just for the safety and security of their fellow Americans at home.
As per a 2015 declaration of the Texas state Governor Greg Abbott of the Republican Party, today is marked for the fifth consecutive year as Chris Kyle Day in memory of the man whose legacy to the nation of his birth will never be forgotten by every generation on the very day of his sudden demise. As we mark this day together and in solidarity with the people of the great state of Texas, in these changing times in our world of today we, the people of the free world, together with the people of the United States of America, in recalling the lives of these two great veterans of our armed forces who were part one of the biggest military deployments in the long history of this great country, bear in mind their determination, courage, patriotism, bravery, audacity and comradeship in the battlefield and at home, and the risks they took to fulfill the fundamental mission of the United States Armed Forces – the defense of the sovereignty, independence and the territorial integrity of the Union, the protection of overseas interests of the republic and American expats in danger and the defense of international democracy with our NATO allies around the world.
The valor and bravery shown by our great armed forces over the years since our armed forces were founded in 1775 during the early months of the Revolutionary War have served to help America prosper from its beginnings up to the superpower status it today enjoys, not just in its armed forces by in the economy, culture and the arts, and in sports. The valiant sacrifices of the millions of our fallen servicemen and women at home and abroad in patriotic and internationalist duties in the name of our country cannot be forgotten, for they gave to the homeland the ultimate sacrifice of their lives in the defense of their country, her people and her values. Nor will the contributions made by those who after their military service helped contribute to the growth and progress of our nation and our society in many ways cannot be counted out as well, for the values they learned during their service in our armed forces helped them make their mark in the making of prosperous and strong republic through the years and helped bring her culture and traditions as well as our strong sporting legacy to millions everywhere around the world.
Today, as we celebrate the 74th year anniversary since the beginning of the Battle of Manila and the 6th anniversary of the deaths of Chris Kyle and Chad Littlefield, in our remembrance of all that our men and women have done in the defense of our liberties all over the world we will forever uphold the sacred memory of the millions of Americans who fell in battles in war and in peace for the sake of our beloved nation of billions of people, united under one flag, and together as one as we travel the road towards the 250th year of our independence, onwards the path to sustain our republic’s role in the changing world as the defender and protector of our liberties and freedoms and as the vanguard of a better tomorrow for our world for generations to come – a role played by the men and women who have served and are now serving in the ranks of our glorious Armed Forces over the past 244 years!
And to the peoples of the United States and the Philippines, let us hold firm towards our military and economic alliance of these two countries and the friendship these two countries share. No matter what will happen in the future, the friendship of these two countries will remain strong and will stand towards a better and brighter tomorrow for the people of the world, together in a shared destiny and in the same road onwards to a strong and powerful friendship together with the free peoples of the globe!
