Flutter Navigation Bar: A Guide to Create Interactive Navigation Items in Flutter Web
In Flutter web, using the navigation bar at the top of the page is common. We aim to create simple web apps with interactive Flutter navigation items, such as showing a mouse pointer. Change the text style on hover and highlight the current selection.
Flutter NavigationBar In web applications, it plays an important role, and different frameworks have different implementation styles. In Flutter, we must mention the differences between mobile and the web. But we can use the same navigation item in the drawer with packages adaptive_navbar in Flutter.

What is Bottom Navigation Bar in Flutter?
The bottom navigation bar helps us navigate from the top-level view of the app. in the navigation bar below. We display a row of widgets by clicking on those widgets. Usually, we show 3 to 5 items in the bottom navigation bar. Let’s see how we can implement the bottom navigation bar.
It is very easy to implement in a Flutter. You can select them individually, navigate to the desired screen, and add text and labels.
The important points to remember while using the navigation bar below:
We can only show a small number of widgets in the bottom navigation, which can be 2 to 5
There must be at least two bottom navigation items; otherwise, we will get an error.
The icon and title properties are required; we must set corresponding widgets for these.
Add a bottom navigation bar and a bottom navigation bar item in your outline.
Now shows the selected item using the current index, two properties, and the onTap property.
Now we need to show some pages by tapping on an item.
That’s all, and now we can check and run our code.

How to Add Bottom Navigation Bar in Flutter?
First, we will learn how to create a basic bottom navigation bar, its components, and its properties. We will then learn to navigate the pages and create an animated bottom navigation bar. Here we create a simple page with the App Bar and add the name ‘Demo.’
Step 1: Create Scaffold Widgets
We create a Stateful Widget, and within a stateful widget, we create a Scaffold widget. This structure has properties such as a bottom navigation bar.
Step 2: Add Bottom Navigation Bar Widget
Then we create the bottom navigation bar widget. In this widget, we need an item to add to BottomNavigationBar
Step 3: Fill the bottom navigation bar with items
This is a widget, now the BottomNavigationBar item. There are two arguments, an icon, and a label. These arguments should not be null.
Every item has an icon and a label. The icon argument contains an icon widget, and the label argument contains a text widget.
Example
import 'package:flutter/material.dart'; void main() { runApp(const MyApp()); } class MyApp extends StatelessWidget { const MyApp({super.key}); @override Widget build(BuildContext context) { return MaterialApp( title: 'Title of Application', theme: ThemeData( primarySwatch: Colors.blue, visualDensity: VisualDensity.adaptivePlatformDensity, ), home: const MyHomePage(), ); } } class MyHomePage extends StatefulWidget { const MyHomePage({Key? key}) : super(key: key); @override State<statefulwidget> createState() { return MyHomePageState(); } } class MyHomePageState extends State<myhomepage> { int selectedIndex = 0; Widget myContacts = const MyContacts(); Widget myEmails = const MyEmails(); Widget myProfile = const MyProfile(); @override Widget build(BuildContext context) { return Scaffold( appBar: AppBar( title: const Text("BottomNavigationBar Example"), ), body: getBody(), bottomNavigationBar: BottomNavigationBar( type: BottomNavigationBarType.fixed, currentIndex: selectedIndex, items: const [ BottomNavigationBarItem( icon: Icon(Icons.contacts), label: "Contacts", ), BottomNavigationBarItem( icon: Icon(Icons.mail), label: "Emails", ), BottomNavigationBarItem( icon: Icon(Icons.person), label: "Profile", ) ], onTap: (int index) { onTapHandler(index); }, ), ); } Widget getBody() { if (selectedIndex == 0) { return myContacts; } else if (selectedIndex == 1) { return myEmails; } else { return myProfile; } } void onTapHandler(int index) { setState(() { selectedIndex = index; }); } } class MyContacts extends StatelessWidget { const MyContacts({super.key}); @override Widget build(BuildContext context) { return const Center(child: Text("Contacts")); } } class MyEmails extends StatelessWidget { const MyEmails({super.key}); @override Widget build(BuildContext context) { return const Center(child: Text("Emails")); } } class MyProfile extends StatelessWidget { const MyProfile({super.key}); @override Widget build(BuildContext context) { return const Center(child: Text("Profile")); } } </myhomepage></statefulwidget>
Output

The Love and Deepspace Boys Trying to Get You to Sleep ⋆。°✩
Tags: Fluff, teasing, needy boys, mild sexual content, gender neutral reader (I had to re-write so please let me know if I messed up.)
─── ・ 。゚☆: .☽ . :☆゚. ───
Xavier is surprisingly softer than you expected when you first met him on your mission together. He’s an incredibly powerful hunter but possesses a quiet and gentle, almost oblivious, aura when navigating everyday life, like a ghost floating through the space he takes up. It should also be understood that this very nature of his makes him affectionate, so much so, that he won’t unwrap his arms around your waist and stop pressing his head to your shoulder as you sit at the kitchen bar, typing on your laptop.
“Are you planning on staying up later than the stars?” he mumbles.
There’s a gentle yawn against your skin from the sluggish man, highlighting just how long he’s been trying to coax you into going to bed.
“I wanted to finish this report for work.”
“The report will be there tomorrow,” he says. You swat away his hand that reaches for the power button on the laptop causing him to pout. He grumbles. “You should go to bed. Otherwise, I can’t sleep.”
Smiling to yourself, you decide to tease him. “Oh, so you’re really trying to get me to go to bed for your own benefit?”
“Well, you can’t very well expect me to do it by myself anymore.” Xavier nuzzles his head into the slope of your neck, cuddling you. “It’s your responsibility since you ruined my sleeping habits.”
“Ruined?”
“Ramshackled,” he repeats quietly, causing you to giggle. With an airy sigh, he presses his weight into you more. “How do you expect me to sleep when I can’t hold you?”
Defeated, you save your work and close the laptop. You swivel in your chair, enough to meet his eye, and cup a hand to his cheek. It never stops being endearing to you how he cutely closes his eyes and angles his head to snuggle your palm.
“Alright, alright, you don’t have to beg.”
His eyes flutter open, and the smile on his face grows as he wraps his fingers around yours. Carefully, he pulls on your hand to bring it up enough to begin to lace your wrist with affectionate kisses, tracing your pulse.
“I thought you enjoyed my begging.”
“That’s different.”
“It isn’t,” Xavier mutters into your skin, pressing another light kiss.
“It is.”
“So, you're resolute about that position?” he questions “innocently”. There’s something mischievous about the glint in those arctic eyes, which makes your face warm. You find yourself breaking eye contact, or else you’d lose it.
“Yes.”
Xavier chuckles then begins to lead his kisses down your arm. “In that case, care to explain the difference in detail, love?”
─── ・ 。゚☆: .☽ . :☆゚. ───
“Sleep.”
“But—”
“Sleep.”
Zayne narrows his eyes at you from his side of the bed. You can’t blame him for being a little annoyed right now but the movie you put on to fall asleep was much better than you expected; and instead of falling asleep, you were more awake than ever at a very late one in the morning.
“I’m almost done with the movie,” you tell him, hoping he’ll cut you a little slack this one time.
“Everyone dies at the end of their own stupidity,” he bluntly states and grabs the remote. The television turns off with an overly loud click, and you pout. “Now, sleep.”
Crossing your arms over your chest, you huff. “You’re the worst.”
“I’m fine with that title if it gets you to rest,” he explains with a smooth yawn. “Poor sleep habits lead to bad decision-making later. You’re more likely to develop high blood pressure, and with your heart in particular—”
“I get it. I get it,” you say, wanting to be spared the lecture. Zayne is a good person and a better doctor, but you wish he didn’t worry about you so much just because you might have a little big heart problem. Sighing, you squiggle onto your back and pull the sheets up to your collar, kicking them a little childishly in the process (totally not to let him know that you were not pleased with his spoiling). “I hope you’re proud of yourself.”
“Very.”
Zayne turns over onto his side, away from you, and you frown at the loneliness. Softly, you poke him in the back, once, then twice then a third time before you finally get a hum in response.
“Am I really not getting a good night kiss?”
“Do you need one to sleep?” he asks, his voice deeper from the lack of sleep, urging you to convince him to kiss you even more.
“Duh,” you explain. Slowly, he turns back over to look at you, propping himself up on one arm with a look that says “Is that so” as you continue to ramble. It makes you a little flustered when he watches you so intently. He’s always had this silent dominance that makes you obedient, but you could get what you want from him just as easily with the exact opposite strategy. Cutely, you puff your bottom lip out at him. “There has to be some health benefit to it. Kissing makes people all happy. Happy is good, right?”
It takes a second for him to take in what you say, those smokey eyes closing in on you with thought before he climbs over you. He places both hands at your sides and quickly boxes in your upper thighs with his knees.
“You’re thinking of dopamine,” he says.
“Huh?”
“That makes you “all happy”,” he explains and presses a deep kiss to your lips, leaving you thoughtless and breathless all at once. He moves to your jaw, and you begin to squirm from the pressure of his impassioned lips.
“And Serotonin.”
Another kiss, lower.
“Oxytocin.”
He’s at your shoulder when he starts to nip your skin, and one of his hands moves to ski up the back of your thigh.
“Reduced cortisol.”
Flustered, you grip his arms.
“Zayne, stop, it tickles,” you whine, but it’s the last thing you actually want as he readjusts his position and hovers above you.
His usually neat hair is messier and his breathing a little heavier judging by how his chest laboriously rises and falls. Groaning, you bite your bottom lip as he knowingly leans in and whispers,
“You need it to help you sleep, isn’t that what you said?”
─── ・ 。゚☆: .☽ . :☆゚. ───
“Why don’t you just say you don’t love me anymore?”
You look up from your phone screen at the sudden accusation. You’re resting on the couch, your back propped up by the armrest and legs splayed out on the other cushion while Rafayel looks down at you with crossed arms and a less-than-pleased scowl on his face. You’re entirely confused as to what you could’ve done to make him think something like that.
“Huh?”
“You’ve been playing video games for what—the last two hours?” he says, uncrossing his arms to grab your phone. It’s too late to warn him as he glances at the screen, clicking a few times. “What are you playing anyway? An…otome? Sheesh, go ahead and say you want me gone. Come on, tell me you actually hate me.”
Holding in your smile, you shake your head and affectionately roll your eyes. It takes an enormous amount of effort to not laugh as he continues to rant. “So, it’s one of those things. I thought I was actually in trouble.”
And by those things, you mean his dramatics.
“Hush, my complaints are perfectly legitimate,” he demands as he pushes your legs aside and sits on the couch. Leaning over, he flashes the screen at you to show the evidence he has that you’re completely unfair, unfaithful, and downright mean. “What’s this game giving you that I’m not? Are my dashing good looks and even better personality not enough? Is that it?”
Gently, you take the phone from his hand and set it down on the end table. “You’re plenty, perfect even.”
He scoffs and refuses to look at you. “Apparently not. Don’t you ever think about anyone else? What if I want to cuddle with you one day but you’re too busy to notice because you’re playing silly games?”
Ah, there it is. His real want. You never know why he can never just come out and say it.
“Rafayel, do you want me to come to bed and cuddle with you?”
“Want is a strong word,” he remarks but you can see his resolve (can you call it that when he planned to give in all along?) crumbling as he slowly turns back to meet your gaze, “but I wouldn’t be opposed to it. Not that you deserve it or care.”
Humming, you sit up, wrap your arms around his shoulders, and pull him down onto you. Lovingly, you snuggle him, stopping to only take in how red his neck and ears start to get when you squeeze him and start to stroke through his hair. You’re not sure if Lumerians can blow happy bubbles like he claims, but he definitely hums and relaxes his entire body weight to lay on top of you like he wants to sink into your skin.
Teasingly, you coo at him. “You’re so needy.”
“I’d rather say you humans aren’t needy enough,” he fires back as he wraps an arm around your waist and kisses the corner of your lips. “Ah, the sweet taste of victory.”
Giving out a gentle and short laugh, you lightly tap his back. “Go to sleep.”

There’s already a throb in his cock when his fist twists the doorknob. Some sort of conditioning. The unspoken way that he knows that you’re his.
Plucking at this deep, possessive streak that he never knew he had, until he started losing everything. Everyone.
Or maybe it just feels good to admit that he wants something. To allow himself to take something that’s offered so freely. To finally feel something, after months - years - of tamping everything down.
(Or - you and Logan have a certain, unspoken arrangement.)
There’s a certain sense of relief knowing that you’re waiting for him.
An outlet for the frustration that simmers inside. A prickle under his skin, teeth gritting a little too hard. Another night of playing nice. A chauffeur for dickheads that he would’ve threatened to stab through, a lifetime ago.
Back when things didn’t matter, the way they did now. Before the weight he carries. When a brawl at a bar would an inconvenience at best - that ache of pain that healed with a breath - instead of something that would have him down for days.
Never liked killing, deep down. Just never had to worry about it like this before.
Achingly aware of how he’s slowed. The groan of his joints, the pull of his muscles. Knuckles swollen, as he grips the steering wheel, pulling up in front of the smelting plant.
It’s still early. Still needing his headlights to navigate the backroads, eyes narrowed in the pale, rising sun.
The crunch of his steps against gravel is the only sound, as he heads inside.
Putting Charles first. Grieving silently. Keeping secrets.
It’s familiar, how he finds you. Even as the days grow shorter, the desert heat lingers. The thin sheets twisted around your legs.
An invitation, in the way you’re already stripped bare - a glint of silver between your breasts.
He always looks for it.
That silent sign you’ve come up with. An encouragement to take what he wants, when he wants it.
Only once had you taken his dog tags off, since he gifted them to you. He can still remember your glare as you ripped them from your throat, slamming them down on the bedside table.
He had pissed you off. Said something shitty. Leaving you to fume.
But you had still come back to him, in the night. Letting him write out apologies between your thighs. Murmured in your ear, as he ground himself into you.
Forgetting by morning. You always were forgiving. Knows you deserve better, but he’s been an old dog for a long time now.
Hard to change, even though he tries.
He lingers now in the doorway, for just a second.
Should eat something, can’t remember the last time he did. Something packaged, taste secondary to the fuel that he needs more than ever, as he slowly knits himself back together.
Used to taking whatever he could find, before you.
There’s leftovers in the fridge, but all he can think about is how he bent you over the counter as you waited for the timer to wind down.
How you laughed and squirmed as his chest pressed to your back, when he surprised you. Slipping into stifled moans, as his fingers dipped beneath your waistband. His mouth against your throat, lips pressed against the flutter of your pulse.
The food tastes better when he remembers the way you had cried out his name, his cock halted inside of you. Almost burnt dinner, with Joe distracted you were.
But that will have to wait, now that he’s seen you.
Would love to wake you up. Hear the morning-early rasp of his name. The scratch of your nails against his shoulders - ones that might linger for hours instead of seconds.
Finds that he doesn’t mind getting a little marked to, as long as it’s you that’s doing it.
But you look so sweet, sleeping on your side, and he loves the little moans you make as he tries not to wake you up. Tongue fitting between the cleft of your thigh as he hikes your leg a little higher. Bending himself down to the mattress - ignoring the dull ache in his back - so he can fit his mouth fully against you.
He’s become greedy, over time. Resource-guarding affection, teeth bared in a snarl.
Needing that proof that you want him. Still so focused on all your little signs, even if you’re his to take.
Another lick, feather-light. Resisting the urge to press himself flush. Work his tongue into your pussy, until he can taste himself from last night.
Knows he has your sleep schedule fucked up. Finding moments in the liminal space at dusk and dawn. His edges softened with sleep.
Heavy-limbed, as your ass pressed against his front, earlier. Squirming, teasing, until he had pulled you astride him. Looking every bit an angel with the way the setting sun haloed around you, his eyes half-lidded as his morning dawned.
“Go on, sweetheart,” He had rasped, voice low, “If you need it that bad, then ‘m sure you can put in a little work.”
His salvation glinting between your tits with each bounce - your moans pitching high as your nails bit into his chest.
It’s returned, now. Palms curving where your thigh meets your ass. Cupping and squeezing, angling you until he can taste your dampness against his mouth.
Always so fucking responsive. Your hips flexing in their sleep, when he dips down to tease at your clit.
Letting your dreams swirl in and out, winding with pleasure as the taste of you swells against his tongue. Skin turning slick beneath the spit that he lets drop from parted lips.
Making sure you can take him. You always can, always do. But his cock throbs at the thought of slipping so easily into you, the wet and warm heat that awaits him.
Another bitten-back groan as his mouth covers you again, and it’s then that you stir.
He meant to give you a little more time. Let you come from just his mouth, wake from your dreams with a shout as you pulse against his tongue.
Hands squeezing your thighs, keeping you in place for a little longer. The sleepy cadence of your breath turning short, sharp, as you’re brought back out.
His name mumbled out in your sleep, and it’s enough that he’s tugging at his belt, loosening the buttons.
Layers peeled off and kicked down at the edge of the bed, leaving them to them crumple on the floor.
Hand rough as he fists his cock, another drop of spit smeared across before his thighs nudge yours wider. You shift easily, belly-down, with the guidance of a rough palm against your hip.
And for a moment, he just looks.
Admires.
A hand coming down heavily against your ass. His palm molding to flesh, soft skin giving as he tugs you open.
Pretty little holes that he can’t get enough of stuffing full. A rough groan in his chest as his other hand works faster, squeezing at the leaking head. A thumb shifting down to press at your folds, until he can see you clench in your sleep.
Empty. He can fix that.
Angling himself down, until he’s nudging at your hole. Smearing himself against spit and slick, watching how the tip just eases inside you. How you clench instinctually around him.
A soft sound pulls from you then, as he sinks a little deeper. Watching how you stretch tight around him, as he disappears into your wet warmth.
Pulled from sleep by the time he’s pressed flush, your fingers digging into the sheets as your back arches.
Awoken from a pretty dream, only to find it true. Already you’re trying to take more. Eyes heavy-lidded as your head turns, trying to see him in the golden blush of dawn.
“Feel so fucking good, sweetheart.”
Fingers splay out against your waist. Dimpling your curves as he squeezes - a reminder that you are only flesh and bone, beneath him.
Heat and warmth and rushing blood in your veins, as he inches out, only to drive deep.
“Logan.” You squirm, each rock of his hips dragging you out of your haze.
Your ass sways, as he sets the pace. The syrupy-slowness gone, when you use your leverage to meet his thrusts. Face buried in a shared pillow as you muffle your sounds.
"Lemme hear ‘em." He husks, pitching forward - a low rumble as he keeps you pressed flat against the mattress, “Come on baby, wanna hear what I’m doing to you.”
Another rut of his hips, as his forearms settle on either side of your ribs. A hand slipping beneath, cupping a soft breast as his nose skims up the base of your neck.
Inhaling you, how his own scent clings to your skin. Melding with the sweet musk of your arousal - he’d bottle it up, if he could.
You moan, at the squeeze of his hand. At the heavy slap of his balls against your clit, sticky from the arousal that drips from you.
Calloused fingers pinching at your nipple, as the beast inside him growls, whines, then goes silent. That anger ebbing, with the way you clench down each time he slips from you, as if trying to keep him inside.
Another whine, when his elbow plants by your arm, his hand spanning loosely beneath your jaw. The ball chain cool against his skin, where the silver hooks around his thumb.
An urge to taste you again, and he does - a groan at the way your lips part so quickly for him as he angles your face to his.
The moan he swallows when his tongue brushes yours, how he knows you’re close with the way you string tight beneath him.
“Fuck, I missed you.” It’s breathed out against his lips, your fingers mapping his. Encouraging his hold to tighten around your throat, until you’re fully anchored in his grasp.
Almost an embrace. Could be, if he let himself soften. Instead, his hips snap harder against the soft flesh of your ass, and he hears the whine it pulls from you.
“Just like that. Don’t stop.” Your nails prick the back of his hand, your voice strained, “Oh my god, I’m so close-“
Doesn’t think there’s anything that could drag him away. Spearing himself again and again, the head of his cock grinding against a spot that makes your eyes roll.
A spot that has you panting, murmured pleas that turn into broken moans.
Doesn’t know when you got him so wrapped around your finger, but he’s curled firmly around each knuckle. A growl in his throat, his own release nipping at his heels.
Holds back just long enough to feel you tremble beneath him. The way you arch into his weight, loosening the moan you held back before. Brought over the edge by the rocking weight of his cock, the pinch of his fingers.
Pride washes over him, as you leak around his cock. The tight pulse thrumming as he fucks you through the waves of pleasure, soaking in your pitched-high cries. His life went to shit years ago, but even in the throes of exhaustion he’s never grown tired of pulling them from you.
He can do this, at least.
“Fuckin’ choking me, sweetheart.” He grunts, that tell-tale tightness in his belly. An urge to pin you down, hips pounding until he’s finally spilling inside you.
Letting the fire in his veins burn off the last of the thorns that sank into his skin throughout the day.
You let him.
He lets himself - face buried in your neck ask he finds that rough pace again. The slick slap of his hips as you pant beneath him.
“Please, Logan.” Your voice buzzes against his palm, “Wanna help you. Use me-”
Been using you a long time. Dependent now on the reassurance. On the way you look at him, touch him - so fucking soft. Soft beneath him now, as his groan pitches low.
“Gonna fucking come, baby.”
It’s gravel-rough, teeth gritting as you tighten around him, “Gonna keep it inside, yeah?”
“Yes.” You beg. Tugging at his palm until it loosens, until you press your lips to his skin. Across his knuckles, tongue dipping between - slipping against sensitive skin.
It’s dangerous, being that close.
It makes him come - hand wrenching away just as his claw threaten to prick through. Just able to hold them back, as his hips drive flush against yours.
A ragged moan muffled against your skin as Logan holds himself deep - letting your walls milk his orgasm from him. Fingers pinching into skin, as he keeps you in place, still enough that you can feel each throbbing pulse as he fills you.
He missed you too.
Always does.
The hours away are spent going over memories like snapshots. Ones that cling to him, his limo.
The echo of you on top of him, in the backseat. A payment you didn’t have to make - he’d take you anywhere - but you were all too willing to.
Eager to prove to him you could take it, as your nails bit into his suit. Still dripping out of you, pooling against soft fabric, when your face nuzzled into his lap as he drove you back home.
Knuckles pinched white around the steering wheel, as you kept him warm in your mouth.
Didn’t have time to take you a second time before he had to leave, but it didn’t stop him from fitting those fingers inside you - making you squeal as he fucked himself deeper, just before his evening began.
Stroking himself to the thought, each and every night he was away. Never could get enough.
It all leads back to this.
His arm bands around your stomach. Still nudged flush, as he eases you both onto your sides.
He’ll eat, later. Fingers drifting, as they dip. Not ready to go again just yet - he’s slowed, in his old years.
But his fingers can still fit against you. Swirling against slick skin as you moan, until he can feel you clenching down around him again.
Drifting off after, with his cock still buried deep. With his cheek cradled against the top of your head, an arm slung across to keep you close.
Never had enjoyed sleeping. A means to an end, everything he pushes down loosening - flashing vividly behind closed eyes.
Not until you. Not until this.
The nightmares going hazy, then quiet, when he wrapped in you the way exhaustion curls around him. A day, finally ending.
Hoping that if he dreams, it will be of you.
Just can’t get enough.
Even now, still using you.
thank you so much for reading!! 💖

Falling for the Star
Nicholas Alexander Chavez x reader
Summary: You meet actor Nicholas Alexander Chavez at a gala, sparking an intense romance. As passion builds, you navigate the challenges of his fame, facing public scrutiny and personal doubts. Through steamy moments and emotional struggles, you both fight for a love that’s worth the spotlight.
Wc: 10.7 K
Smut, fluff, drammaaaaaa
The moon hung low in the Los Angeles sky, a silver crescent illuminating the sprawling city below. The air buzzed with excitement and anticipation as you cautiously approached the entrance of the exclusive charity gala at a luxurious rooftop venue. The invitation had arrived with bright golden lettering, but in truth, you had almost turned it down. The mere thought of mingling with celebrities, the glitterati, and Hollywood’s elite had been overwhelming. Nevertheless, a gentle push from a close friend, coupled with a curiosity that ignited within you, led you to this moment.
As you stepped through the large glass doors, the atmosphere enveloped you like a warm embrace. The soft notes of a live jazz band floated through the air, a blend of elegance and vibrancy. Lush greenery adorned the venue, with fairy lights twinkling like stars overhead, and champagne glasses clinking gently as laughter erupted around you. You took a moment to appreciate your reflection in the mirrored walls, wearing a stunning emerald green dress that hugged your figure perfectly. It cascaded to just above your knees, with delicate lace details accentuating your collarbone, making you feel both empowered and graceful.
You scanned the room, your heart racing, when your eyes caught sight of him — Nicholas Alexander Chavez. He was standing across the room, effortlessly charming, with an easy smile that lit up the dimly lit space. His attire was flawless, a tailored navy suit that complemented his physique, making him look like he had stepped right off a magazine cover. His dark curls framed his face, and the spark in his eye held an undeniable allure. You felt an involuntary blush creep up your cheeks as your gaze lingered, making you acutely aware of how stunning he truly was.
Just as you thought you might have imagined the connection, Nicholas glanced in your direction. His gaze met yours, and an electric thrill surged through you, igniting a pulse of energy that felt both thrilling and terrifying. You quickly averted your eyes, pretending to study a nearby artwork, though you could feel his stare still lingering.
With a deep breath to steady your nerves, you decided to get a drink from the bar, hoping to calm the fluttering in your stomach. The bar was swarming with well-dressed attendees, all lost in their own animated conversations. You ordered a glass of sparkling wine, and just as you turned to survey the party, you bumped into a broad shoulder.
“Whoa there,” came a deep voice, smooth as velvet.
You looked up, instantly recognizing the familiar face. Nicholas was standing right in front of you, a playful grin on his lips that made your heart skip a beat. “Looks like you’ve fallen for me already,” he teased, his eyes twinkling with mischief.
You tried to keep your composure, laughing nervously as you brushed your hair back. “Well, I might be a clumsy drinker,” you shot back, a lightness in your tone that surprised even you.
“The drinks aren’t the only thing that sparkles here,” he replied, his gaze simmering with an intensity that made your cheeks flush. “I’m Nicholas, by the way.”
“Y/N,” you replied, your voice steadier than you felt.
“Nice to meet you, Y/N,” he said, leaning closer, the warmth of his presence enveloping you. “What brings you to this shindig? I’m sure you could have found somewhere more exciting to spend your evening.”
You chuckled, feeling more at ease. “Believe it or not, I was contemplating staying home and binge-watching my favorite series. But the charity cause pulled me in—along with the chance to dress up a little, I suppose.”
Nicholas raised an eyebrow, curiosity piqued. “And what’s your favorite show?”
Do you really want to know? It’s quite embarrassing,” you replied, a sheepish grin spreading across your face.
“Embarrassing? Nah, I want to hear it,” he insisted, his playful demeanor captivating you further.
The conversation flowed easily from there, a delightful exchange filled with laughter and banter. It was clear that he was down-to-earth, someone who didn’t take himself too seriously despite his rising stardom. He listened intently, leaning against the bar with relaxed confidence that made you feel at ease.
As the night progressed, you found yourselves inching closer, the chemistry undeniable. With every stolen glance and shared laughter, the space between you seemed to shrink. Everything else faded away. Just as you felt the urge to lean in, the crowded bar suddenly erupted into laughter, startling you back to reality.
Nicholas chuckled, his gaze holding yours captive. “Looks like we’re commandeered. How about I steal you away for a moment before we get swallowed by the masses?”
“Lead the way,” you said, your heart racing as he gestured toward a quieter section of the venue.
Working through the sea of guests, you found a reprieve on a balcony that overlooked the stunning LA skyline. The city lights glimmered like a cascade of stars, and for a moment, it felt as if you were both the only two people in the world. The evening breeze danced around you, carrying the sweet scent of blooming jasmine from nearby plants.
Nicholas leaned against the railing beside you, a soft smile playing on his lips. "You know," he said softly, the music from inside blending into the background, "I’m glad you came tonight. You have this energy about you, something refreshing."
our heart fluttered at his words, the sincerity in his tone leaving a weight on your chest. “And I’m glad I bumped into you. I didn’t expect to meet someone like you tonight.”
Just then, the moment felt charged, his gaze intent as he held you captive. You could sense the potential for something deeper, something more than just a fleeting encounter at a glamorous gala. But before you could react, a friend called out for Nicholas, interrupting the silence that had built around the two of you.
With a reluctant smile, he turned back to you. “I have to go, but I hope we can pick up where we left off.”
Me too,” you replied, biting your lip, hoping it spoke volumes about what you felt.
He flashed that dazzling smile again. “Here’s my number. Call me. Let’s not let the night end like this, okay?”
You took the slip of paper, your fingers brushing against his as you felt a shiver of delight at the contact. “I definitely will,” you promised, watching as he faded back into the crowd, leaving you breathless and craving more.
The gala had been a whirlwind of elegance, laughter, and glittering lights. You had spent the evening swirling through rooms filled with celebrities, each moment feeling like a scene from a movie. But the real magic began when Nicholas Alexander Chavez approached you during the afterparty, his charming smile effortlessly stealing your breath away. Now, you found yourself on the rooftop of a trendy Los Angeles venue, the city sparkling below as the cool night air wrapped around you.
Nicholas's deep voice carried a playful tone as he arched a brow, “So, did you come here to dazzle everyone with your beauty, or is there a hidden talent I should know about?”
You chuckled, leaning back against the railing, your fingers brushing his casually. “Dazzling was the aim, but I didn’t expect to run into anyone like you tonight.”
The atmosphere was charged; the intimacy of the rooftop—complete with twinkling fairy lights strung overhead—set the perfect backdrop for your budding connection. Below, L.A. hummed with life, yet up here it was just you and him, everything else fading away.
“Tell me more. What’s it like being a dazzling star in your own right?” he asked, running a hand through his dark hair, drawing your attention to the way the moonlight caught the angles of his jaw.
What can I say? I’m just a regular person who got lucky,” you replied, trying to infuse some levity into the conversation even though your heart raced in his presence. “By day, I’m probably just a boring desk jockey, but at night…” you trailed off teasingly, “I become the queen of charity events.”
His laugh was warm, infectious. “A queen, huh? I’ve always wanted to meet royalty.” He leaned in closer, the scent of his cologne—a mix of cedarwood and something distinctly him—invading your senses. Living in a dream, you felt that maybe, just maybe, it wouldn’t break.
“I’m not sure how much royalty I am,” you said, feeling daring. “But I do know how to throw a fantastic ball.”
“Care to demonstrate sometime?" he winked, but then his smile softened. “I think it’s important for people to see beyond the lights and glitz. That’s what I try to show in my work too. There’s more to me than what’s at surface level.”
You considered his words, your gaze locked on the sincerity reflected in his eyes. “What do you want them to see?”
Nicholas ran a hand along the back of his neck, a habit you found endearing as he looked for the right words. “That I’m just… well, I’m just trying to figure it all out like everyone else. Being in the spotlight can make things so complicated.”
I can only imagine,” you murmured, absorbing the weight of his confession. It felt nice to know he shared this vulnerability, drawing you closer to him. The edges of the conversation had shifted, moving from playful banter to something deeper.
As he spoke, his hand brushed against yours, sending a jolt of electricity through you. Time slowed as you both lingered over the lightest of touches, an entire world of unspoken words swirling around you.
Do you think the stars are what they seem?” he mused, his voice lowering as he locked eyes with you. “Or just another layer of a persona?”
Sometimes they seem so perfect,” you replied, barely above a whisper. “But underneath, they’re human too.”
Nicholas smiled, and in that moment, the air felt thick with expectation. He leaned closer, and you could almost taste the warmth radiating between you. The moment elongated, both of you dancing around your desire, a symphony of unfulfilled tension hovering just inches apart.
Then, the serene bubble popped with a shout from below; a group of fellow gala attendees had spilled onto the rooftop, laughter spilling and echoing into the night. The connection between you and Nicholas fractured. He stepped back, breaking the moment like glass shattering on concrete.
“Maybe we should join the party,” he suggested, though you could hear the hint of disappointment in his tone.
“Yeah, let’s not keep the others waiting,” you said, your own heart sinking at the missed opportunity.
But as you both made your way back downstairs, the chemistry lingered electric in the air, weaving around you like a warm embrace. Nicholas walked close; he brushed against you, and goosebumps raced down your arms. You caught fleeting whispers from the crowd as you rejoined—words of admiration and intrigue—as if the guests could sense the bubble of tension that encapsulated you both.
Each glance exchanged with Nicholas sparked further anticipation. You could feel his gaze on you, a warmth that made your cheeks flush. As the evening progressed, small moments of contact sent your heart racing. The lightest brush of his fingers on your back as you maneuvered through the crowd made your breath hitch.
Finally, the night reached its peak, and you found yourself standing at the edge of the rooftop once more, feeling slightly more at ease and anxious all at once. “Thank you for tonight; it was… amazing,” you said, leaning against the railing.
Nicholas turned to you, a soft smile curving his lips. “I had a great time too. But I have a feeling this is just the beginning, isn’t it?”
His voice held a promise that sent butterflies dancing in your stomach. “I hope so,” you replied, allowing a shy smile to break through your facade.
“I’d like to take you on a proper adventure,” he said, a hint of mischief in his eyes. “How about we escalate this?”
“Esclare? I’m intrigued.” You crossed your arms, wanting to feign nonchalance but failing miserably.
Tomorrow. Just you, me, and no distractions,” he proposed, excitement bubbling within you at the thought. This was more than just flirting; you could sense things moving to another level.
You could hardly find the words. “I’d like that.”
With a grin that lit up his face, he nodded. The tension hanging in the air was undeniable, and you felt it wrap around you like a heavy blanket woven from the threads of your growing connection. As he leaned close, just hovering as if weighing the options, the world faded into nothingness.
And just then, in that brief moment, everything felt just right. Because in this vast city of stars, you had found one that was distinctly Nicholas, and you were ready to explore wherever the night—or your blossoming relationship—might lead you next.
The sun dipped low in the sky, casting a warm, golden hue across your room as you stood in front of the mirror, scrutinizing your reflection. Tonight was more than just another evening. This was a date. A date with Nicholas Alexander Chavez, the charming actor who had stolen your attention—and heart—at the charity gala just days ago. You felt a delicious blend of nerves and excitement bubbling within you, urging you to make the right choice. After rummaging through your closet, you finally settled on a sleek, midnight blue dress. It hugged your curves just right, striking a perfect balance between elegant and alluring. The fabric shimmered slightly under the light, mirroring the glint of anticipation in your eyes.
As you finished your look with a swipe of lipstick and a hint of perfume, you couldn’t help but smile at the thought of what was to come. Nicholas was not only stunningly handsome but also had a down-to-earth charm that made your heart race. You picked up your phone, your fingers trembling as you checked the time. You were supposed to meet him at a secluded restaurant hidden away from the prying eyes of the paparazzi, a secret oasis in the bustling city.
The short drive to the restaurant was a whirlwind of thoughts racing through your mind. What would you talk about? Would he lean in closer like he did at the gala? Would you have chemistry over dinner? The mere thought made your heart flutter, and you could feel a blush creeping onto your cheeks.
The restaurant was everything you could have imagined and more. Nestled on a quiet street, adorned with twinkling lights and soft music, it had an intimate atmosphere that instantly set your nerves at ease. As you walked in, you spotted Nicholas seated at a small table in the corner, his dark hair tousled just right, wearing a casual yet stylish outfit that emphasized his toned physique. He looked up and met your gaze, his smile lighting up the space around him, and suddenly, all the anxious thoughts melted away.
“Hey, you look incredible,” he said, standing to pull out the chair for you.
“Thank you! You’re not so bad yourself,” you replied, your voice playful, but your heart raced at the closeness of him.
As you settled into your seat, the conversation flowed effortlessly. You spoke about the gala, sharing laughs over the awkwardness of celebrity encounters, and Nicholas shared funny behind-the-scenes stories from the show. There was an undeniable chemistry, a palpable tension that lingered in the air between you. You couldn’t help but lean in a little closer, wanting to soak in every detail of his expressions and the slight huskiness of his voice when he laughed.
The waiter appeared, taking your orders, but your focus remained on Nicholas, who effortlessly carried the conversation. He spoke of his childhood dreams, his journey into acting, and his love for the craft. “I never thought I’d end up here,” he admitted, his eyes twinkling with a mix of pride and humility. “It’s surreal, to say the least.”
“I can’t imagine how challenging it must be,” you said, genuinely admiring his dedication. “But I’m glad you’re here. You’re incredibly talented.”
The way his eyes softened at your words made your heart skip a beat. “I appreciate that. It means a lot coming from someone like you,” he replied, his gaze lingering on you, making the room seem smaller, just the two of you in your own world.
As dinner progressed, the food became secondary to the moments that were passing between you—slight touches when handing over his plate, the warmth of his gaze locking onto yours. Each shared smile felt like a silent promise, and you found yourself leaning in as if drawn by an invisible string. There was an undercurrent of desire, thick and tangible, yet neither of you was willing to break the spell just yet.
After the main course, you shared a decadent dessert—a rich chocolate lava cake—playfully feeding each other bites as laughter echoed softly around you. The sweet treat punctuated the sweetness blooming between you. The laughter faded into a comfortable silence, and in that moment, the world outside ceased to exist.
Nicholas studied you, his expression serious yet softening the longer he watched. “Can I ask you something?” he said, his tone turning unexpectedly sincere.
“Of course,” you replied, your throat dry with anticipation.
He leaned in, his voice dropping to a near whisper. “What do you want in life? Beyond what you do, beyond this moment?”
Your heart raced as you stared into his deep brown eyes, sensing the authenticity of his question. “I want to experience life fully. I crave adventure, connection, and authenticity—like what I feel right now.” You held his gaze, feeling exposed yet free.
“And do you feel that with me?” he asked, a slight smirk playing on his lips.
You bit your lip, nodding slightly. The air thickened with unspoken words, and as you opened your mouth to respond, your heart pounded in anticipation of his next move.
Just then, the waiter returned with the check, ruining the moment as you both leaned back, the tension momentarily shattered. After settling the bill, you found yourselves back on the sidewalk, the crisp night air washing over you as you walked under the stars.
Nicholas slowed his pace, walking closely beside you, the hum of the city fading into the background. As you approached your doorstep, the atmosphere became charged with unspoken possibilities. He turned to you, his gaze deep and sincere. “I had an amazing time tonight,” he said, the corner of his mouth lifting into that smile that made your heart flutter.
“Me too,” you replied, trying to contain your excitement.
With the height of tension building, he stepped closer, your body instinctively responding to his proximity. His hand brushed against your arm, sending tingles through your skin. Time seemed to freeze, and you both leaned in, breaths mingling, hearts racing.
But then, a car passed by, its headlights illuminating the moment, reminding you both of the world outside. He didn’t pull away, but rather hesitated, drawn to you yet respecting the moment. “Can I…?” he began, stepping even closer, leaning in as though daring to close the distance between your lips.
“Please…” you whispered, your heart hammering against your chest, wanting nothing more than to feel the warmth of his kiss.
But then, he pulled back slightly, a teasing glint in his eyes. “I think I’ll save that for next time,” he said with a smirk, leaving you both breathless and wanting more, the promise of what was to come hanging in the air like the sweetest poison.
As you both stood there, the connection cemented, deepened yet oh-so tantalizingly just out of reach. You knew that this was only the beginning of a whirlwind romance that neither of you could resist.
The days after your last date with Nicholas were an intoxicating mix of anxious anticipation and exhilarating daydreams. He had called you the very next day, his voice smooth and inviting, as if the warmth of the previous night had never really faded. You felt the thrill of those moments linger in your veins, and every text he sent only stoked the flames of your imagination. It was with a flutter of nervous excitement that you prepared for this evening—a dinner at his cozy apartment.
Standing in front of your mirror, you ran a hand through your hair, taking in the reflection of your carefully chosen outfit. You had settled on a flowy, olive-green dress that hugged your curves just enough to leave an impression while still retaining an air of elegance. The fabric floated around your legs as you moved, and you decided on a pair of simple yet chic heels that accentuated the subtle tone in your skin. A touch of makeup polished your look, enhancing your features without overshadowing your natural beauty.
As you stepped out of your apartment, the evening sun cast a golden glow over the city. It seemed to mirror the excitement building within you for tonight. Each heartbeat was a reminder of what might lay ahead—a chance to get to know Nicholas in a way that was private and personal.
Nicholas' place was tucked away in a quieter part of Los Angeles, the streets lined with palm trees that swayed gently in the evening breeze. When you reached the front door, he opened it with a smile that lit up his whole face, making your heart skip. He was wearing a soft gray sweater that clung to his frame and fitted jeans, effortlessly stylish yet comfortably laid back. “You look stunning,” he said, his eyes dancing over your figure.
“Thanks! You clean up pretty well yourself,” you replied, trying to keep your voice steady despite the flutter of nerves in your stomach.
He ushered you inside, and it was exactly as you had imagined—stylish yet inviting, decorated in a way that felt uniquely him. The living room was warmed by soft lighting, highlighting the modern artwork that adorned the walls. A fluffy beige couch faced a modest kitchen where the smell of garlic sautéing filled the air. Nicholas grinned cheekily. “I hope you like Italian. I may have gone a little overboard with the pasta.”
You laughed, feeling instantly at ease. “I’m not complaining. It smells amazing!”
As he led you into the kitchen, the playful vibe between you flared like a spark. You slipped off your heels, enjoying the coolness of the wooden floor beneath your feet. “Let’s get to work, shall we?” he said, reaching for a bottle of wine.
“Wine first?” you teased.
“Only if you promise to help me cook,” he shot back, amusement dancing in his eyes.
You accepted a glass, savoring the way his fingers brushed against yours as he handed it to you; the simple gesture sent a jolt of electricity coursing through your body. As you both prepared dinner together, Nicholas cracked jokes about his culinary skills—claiming he was still trying to impress his mother—and you returned his playful banter, playfully questioning his choice of ingredients.
“Is this how you charm all the ladies?” you asked with a smirk as he accidentally spilled a pinch of salt into the sauce.
“Only the ones who can keep up,” he replied, winking at you, his gaze lingering just a second longer than necessary on your lips.
You could feel the warmth pooling inside you, a thrilling mix of nerves and intrigue. Raising an eyebrow, you leaned closer, close enough to catch the scent of his cologne mingling with the aromatic fumes wafting from the stove. “A challenge, huh? I think I’m up for it.”
His hand found its way to your waist as he moved around you, the touch intentional yet innocently casual. The heat radiated from where he held you, and the atmosphere thickened with unspoken desires, tension carved from every shared glance.
Dinner was a success—delicious and slightly chaotic, filled with laughter and lively conversation. Afterward, you both settled on the couch, the remnants of the meal cleared away. A bottle of wine was uncorked, and as the rich liquid flowed into your glasses, so too did the deeper conversations about life, ambition, and art. You shared pieces of yourself, opening up in a way that felt natural and liberating.
Nicholas listened intently, his focus unwavering, his eyes piercing through the dim light in the room. He shared stories from his childhood, the ups and downs of navigating fame, and the pressures that came with it. Each story unveiled another layer of the man you were growing to admire—not just his on-screen charm but the authenticity that lay beneath.
As the night wore on, the conversation took a flirtatious turn, lingering touches transitioning into palpable tension. The air was thick with anticipation, the quiet intensity building like a crescendo in a symphony. You could feel the magnetic pull between you, every brush of his hand against yours awakening a fire deep within.
In a moment that seemed suspended in time, he looked at you intently, a thousand emotions swirling in his gaze. “You have no idea how captivating you are,” he said softly, his voice low and husky.
Your heart raced, and you could barely find your voice. “And you have no idea what you’re doing to me,” you replied, your heartbeat hammering wildly in your chest.
Just as the tension reached its peak, it snapped, and before you could register what was happening, his lips were on yours, urgent and filled with the emotions that had been bubbling beneath the surface. The kiss was electric, igniting every nerve in your body. His hands cradled your face as if you were the most precious thing in the world, and you melted into him, shared moment of longing finding its release.

Just as the tension reached its peak, it snapped, and before you could register what was happening, his lips were on yours, urgent and filled with the emotions that had been bubbling beneath the surface. The kiss was electric, igniting every nerve in your body. His hands cradled your face as if you were the most precious thing in the world, and you melted into him, every shared moment of longing finding its release.
His lips moved from your mouth to your neck, leaving a trail of hot, wet kisses. You gasped as his teeth gently nipped at your earlobe, sending waves of pleasure coursing through your body. "You're so responsive," he murmured, his voice laced with desire. "I love how you react to my touch."
You pulled him closer, your hands exploring the hard muscles of his back. "I want more," you whispered, your voice barely audible. Nicholas smiled, his eyes dark with lust. "I thought you'd never ask," he said, his hands moving to the hem of your shirt.
He lifted your shirt over your head, his eyes taking in every inch of your body. You stood there, vulnerable and exposed, yet feeling more confident than ever. His hands cupped your breasts, his thumbs brushing against your nipples, making them harden instantly. You moaned, arching your back to press yourself against him.
Nicholas's mouth found your nipple, his tongue swirling around it before he took it into his mouth, sucking and nipping gently. You cried out, your hands tangled in his hair, holding him in place. He moved to your other breast, giving it the same attention, making you squirm with pleasure.
His hands moved down your body, tracing the curve of your hips before slipping under the waistband of your skirt. You gasped as his fingers found your clit, rubbing it gently through your panties. "You're so wet," he murmured, his voice filled with satisfaction. "I can't wait to taste you."
He slid your panties down your legs, his eyes never leaving yours. You stepped out of them, standing before him completely naked. Nicholas knelt down, his hands on your thighs, spreading them apart. You braced yourself against the wall as his mouth found your pussy, his tongue licking you from your opening to your clit.
You moaned, your hips bucking against his face. Nicholas gripped your thighs tighter, holding you in place as he continued to lick and suck you. His fingers found their way inside you, pumping in and out, matching the rhythm of his tongue. "You taste so good," he murmured, his voice muffled against your skin.
You could feel your orgasm building, your body tensing as waves of pleasure crashed over you. "I'm close," you gasped, your hands clutching his hair. Nicholas looked up at you, his eyes filled with desire. "Come for me," he said, his voice commanding. And with that, you did, your body convulsing as your orgasm ripped through you.
Nicholas stood up, his lips covered in your juices. You pulled him into a kiss, tasting yourself on his lips. "I want you inside me," you whispered against his mouth. He smiled, his cock hard and ready against your stomach. "I want that too," he said, his voice filled with lust.
Taste yourself on him, the taste of your desire and pleasure. He laid down next to you, his arm wrapped around your waist, pulling you close.
As your bodies cooled down, Nicholas whispered in your ear, "That was incredible." You smiled, your body still humming with pleasure. "It was," you agreed, your voice soft. Nicholas kissed your shoulder, his hand tracing lazy circles on your stomach.
The sun hung in the sky like a lazy star, casting golden rays on the bustling streets of Los Angeles. The city had a certain energy at noon—a buzz of laughter, chatter, and music that thrummed in the background as you and Nicholas made your way to a quaint café. You felt the familiar flutter in your stomach every time you laid eyes on him, this charming man who had flipped your world upside down since that fateful gala.
He was effortlessly stylish in a light denim jacket over a fitted t-shirt, his hair slightly tousled as though he’d just rolled out of bed. You, on the other hand, wore your confidence like your favorite dress; a royal blue sundress that swayed lightly with every step. The perfect dress for a casual afternoon felt like it had a purpose—to catch his eye, and today, it worked.
As you approached the entrance, Nicholas waved to a couple of fans who recognized him. They squealed in delight, their phones snapping pictures. A small smile played on his lips, but you could see the flicker of discomfort in his eyes. This was one of those moments when the reality of celebrity life hit hard.
You exchanged glances, your heart racing irrationally as he opened the door for you. “After you,” he grinned, revealing that perfectly straight line of teeth. Entering the café felt familiar and safe—a hidden gem filled with small wooden tables, rustic decor, and soft background music. As you settled in, the sunlight kissed your foreheads, creating a cozy atmosphere.
“So, are you ready for your first official sighting as my girlfriend?” Nicholas teased, leaning back in his chair, his arms casually resting against the wooden surface of the table.
Your cheeks flushed at that label—girlfriend. It was surreal how quickly everything had escalated since that magical charity gala. "I’m not sure I’m ready for the spotlight yet,” you replied cautiously, stirring your iced coffee with a straw, trying to mask the nervous excitement rising within you.
Nicholas leaned forward, his hair falling slightly into his eyes as he spoke softly, “You don’t have to be. I’ll protect you from the madness, I promise.” His intensity sent a jolt through you, an understanding of why you’d been drawn to this enigmatic man in the first place. There was sincerity in his voice like you were the only two people in the world at that moment.
You suddenly felt exposed in the café filled with fellow patrons, but the air between you shifted as he reached across the table and brushed his fingers lightly over your hand, a gesture so innocent yet electrifying. You fought to maintain composure; it was as if the world outside had faded away, leaving just the two of you drowning in each other’s gaze.
You laughed softly, attempting to lighten the mood. “What happens if we get caught in the act, huh? A scandalous photo of Nicholas Alexander Chavez holding hands with ‘mysterious girl’? That'll definitely pique the tabloids’ interest.”
His laughter echoed your own, bright and genuine. “Right? They’d paint me out to be a heartthrob dating a ‘nobody’—the things they’ll come up with!” He mirrored your playful tone, clearly enjoying the idea.
Just then, the bell above the café door jingled, and a few patrons turned their heads to you. You pressed your lips together, not wanting to draw attention but unable to hide your reaction. You required a steady heartbeat, but somehow, being out with him felt exhilarating, like you were both part of a bit of magical fiction.
After placing your order, you focused on light conversation, sharing stories of your work and traveling. But as you delved deeper, the atmosphere began to shift. You spoke of dreams and ambitions, and he listened with such intent that the heat between you grew palpable. It was as if you were no longer just a fan but two souls connecting, sharing experiences that transcended the celebrity facade.
“So, what’s your greatest dream?” he asked suddenly, his gaze unwavering, making you feel like the center of his universe.
“I suppose I want to create something…” you said hesitantly. “Something that resonates with people, like a book or a novel that could help someone out there feel less alone.” You bit your lip, unsure whether your vulnerability would push him away.
A smile of encouragement spread across Nicholas's features. “I love that. You have such a kind heart, wanting to uplift others. But I have to admit, I always thought your first dream would be to become an actress.”
You chuckled, shaking your head. “No, that’s definitely not my path. I’ll leave the acting to you.”
“But you’d be fantastic—give it a try!” His enthusiasm shifted the conversation’s tone.
At that moment, your eyes locked, and the world around you faded again. His compliment lingered. In a cacophony of noise, it felt serene, amplifying the longing and tenderness brewing in the air.
As you finished lunch, Nicholas paid the bill, but before you could rise, he leaned in closer, whispering, “Want to take a walk? I think we could enjoy this beautiful weather.”
You nodded, heart racing as the waiter smiled knowingly at you both. The walk turned into a leisurely stroll down the picturesque street, but the quiet chatter and laughter from other customers filled the air. As couples passed, holding hands and giggling, doubt crept in. Would you fit into his world? Did you belong in a love story where the media followed every footstep?
Suddenly, someone shouted, “Nicholas!” from behind. You turned to see a group of people snapping photos and shouting questions.
Nicholas held your hand tighter, his protective instincts kicking in as he led you away, heart pounding. “Don’t worry; I won’t let them overwhelm you,” he reassured you, leading you down a quieter alleyway.
“Hiding from the paparazzi already?” you teased, the wild energy of the afternoon igniting a playful spark.
“I think for now, it’s better to avoid the spotlight… but I promise we’ll get used to it together.” He winked, the cheeky grin returning to his face.
Just then, you felt it—his fingers brushing lightly against yours as you navigated the narrow space between two buildings, the electricity crackling and their connections sparking:
His eyes met yours, the air growing thick with unexpressed emotions and unspoken promises. It was a moment that reminded you there was still magic in the world.
As you turned, you collided against him, leaning into his warmth, your pulse racing. “You’ll keep me safe, right?” you murmured, inviting vulnerability.
“Always,” he whispered, leaning ever closer, tantalizingly close yet challenging the rules of what was appropriate.
And in that sanctuary away from prying eyes and flashing cameras, you both indulged in the escalating tension, knowing the path ahead lay somewhere between public dreams and private desires. You were ready to embrace it.
The early morning sun poured through your window, casting a warm glow across your room. The excitement bubbling in your stomach was contagious, filling your thoughts as you prepared for a weekend that promised to be life-changing. Nicholas had invited you to a secluded beach house for a romantic getaway, a break from the intensities of the public eye and the constant buzz of Los Angeles. This was your chance to explore what had been building between you, surrounded by soft sand and the gentle sounds of the waves.
You slipped into a light sundress, the fabric flowing gracefully around your legs as you caught a glimpse of yourself in the mirror. The vibrant colors highlighted your features, and you couldn’t help but smile at your reflection. Today wasn’t just another day; it was the beginning of an escape, a chance to relax and truly be yourself around Nicholas.
Arriving at the meeting point, you spotted Nicholas standing by his car, his face lit up with that captivating smile that made your heart race. He wore a casual ensemble: fitted jeans and a simple white T-shirt, yet he looked effortlessly handsome. As you approached, he greeted you with a warm hug, and a rush of butterflies fluttered through your stomach at the contact.
“Ready for the best weekend of your life?” he asked, his eyes sparkling with anticipation.
You nodded, unable to form words. Instead, you climbed into the passenger seat, unable to suppress a grin as he slipped into the driver’s seat beside you. The car hummed to life, and with a quick glance your way, he put on a playlist of lighthearted tunes, instantly setting a cheerful tone for the road trip ahead.
As you pulled away from the city, the congested streets gave way to open roads flanked by tall trees and endless skies. You chatted about everything and nothing, laughter spilling easily between you—stories about childhood, your favorite places, dreams you hadn’t shared with anyone before. With each passing mile, your connection deepened, growing from a spark to a flame.
“Do you ever get used to the whole celebrity thing?” you asked, curiosity guiding your question.
Nicholas chuckled softly, his hands tightening around the steering wheel. “Honestly? Sometimes it feels like a double life. The lights and glamour, yes, but then there’s just normal me, you know? I love moments like this—away from it all."
His candidness made you smile. “I can only imagine. What do you do to escape?”
He glanced at you, a playful glint in his eye. “I’m a pro at finding cozy little spots. But nothing quite like this weekend—with you, everything feels just right.”
The complimentary exchange of your thoughts flowed effortlessly, a gentle rhythm establishing between you both. Just as the sun began its descent, painting the sky in hues of orange and pink, you arrived at the beach house, a charming retreat nestled on the shore. The scents of salt and sea breeze welcomed you as you stepped out of the car.
“Welcome to paradise,” he declared theatrically, throwing his arms wide to encompass the view. The house was stunning, with large windows that framed views of the ocean, its soft roar beckoning you forward.
You took in the surroundings, feeling the magic of the setting. It was everything you’d dreamed of for a special weekend. Inside, the decor was warm and inviting, a mixture of coastal charm and modern amenities. Nicholas stepped over to the kitchen, a place where the evening’s culinary adventure would soon unfold
kitchen, a place where the evening’s culinary adventure would soon unfold.
“Any requests for dinner?” he asked, already pulling out pots and pans as if he had been preparing for this moment.
Your eyes lit up. “Surprise me! Just nothing too spicy—I’m not great with heat in my food,” you replied, good-naturedly teasing.
s he began preparing the meal, the kitchen transformed into a lively atmosphere. You took a content seat on the counter, watching him work. “You’re quite the chef,” you commented, impressed as he expertly diced vegetables, contrasting with the actor persona you had become accustomed to seeing on-screen.
“Oh, I dabble. Cooking is one of my favorite escapes. Want to help?”
He reached out, grabbing your hands and pulling you down to the floor, guiding you to stand beside him. The two of you continued the evening, creating delicious dishes and sharing flirtatious banter, his playful touches igniting electricity between you as he moved in close, his hands often resting on your waist or brushing your arms.
As the aromas of a delightful meal filled the air, the atmosphere gradually shifted. Dinner was served on the terrace, a beautiful candlelit setup overlooking the ocean. The flickering lights danced softly in the evening breeze, creating an intimate sanctuary away from the world.
With each bite, your conversation took on a deeper tone, revealing your hopes, dreams, and fears. Nicholas shared stories about his upbringing, moments that shaped him, and you reciprocated with your own stories, revealing layers of your life you rarely discussed. There was raw honesty in your exchanges, and the chemistry between you both became palpable.
Eventually, you transitioned from the terrace to the cozy living room, still wrapped in the warmth of each other’s company. A half-empty bottle of red wine sat on the coffee table, two glasses clinking softly as you filled them. Sparks of laughter and connection intertwined as you prepared to settle down.
Finally, as he leaned back against the couch, he turned toward you, a serious look replacing the lighthearted atmosphere. “Can I tell you something?” he asked, his voice dropping to a husky whisper.
You nodded, curious.
“I’ve never felt this way about anyone before. There’s something about you, something that pulls me in.”
Your heart raced, the raw honesty of his admission echoing loudly in the stillness of the room. You shifted closer, his gaze intoxicating.
“Me too, Nicholas,” you whispered back, your pulse quickening.
In that charged moment, the world melted away, leaving only the two of you suspended in time. Nicholas leaned in, brushing a stray hair behind your ear with a tenderness that made your heart flutter. The tension between you escalated, magnetic and electric.
He paused, searching your eyes for permission. You could feel the heat radiating off him, and there was no denying the longing that sparked in the air.
Then, in an instant, all the teasing and banter that had built up between you both broke free. His lips met yours in a flurry of passion—soft, sweet, then deepening as he cupped your face in his hands. You melted against him, surrendering yourself to the intoxicating warmth of the moment. Yet, just when things began to escalate, you pulled away, breathless.
Time skip
It was one of those gloomy afternoons when the clouds hung low like a shroud over the bustling city. You had planned to spend the day curled up with a book and a cup of coffee, a comforting escape from the whirlwind of emotions that had become your life since dating Nicholas Alexander Chavez. However, as you scrolled through your phone, your relaxed intentions swiftly turned into a sensation of dread.
Your heart sank as you stumbled across the latest gossip blog, its headline screaming about Nicholas’s alleged romantic involvement with a co-star on set, someone whose name you recognized all too well. The article painted a scandalous picture, dripping with insinuation and wild conjecture. The infamous paparazzi photos were splashed across the screen, showing them laughing together: a moment that seemed innocent enough but was now twisted into a narrative that pricked at your insecurities.
hough you knew better than to believe everything you read, the fear gnawed at you. How could you ignore the whispers that echoed through your social media feed, fueled by both envy and intrigue? Your relationship with Nicholas had come with its share of challenges, but today felt particularly heavy.
You tossed your phone down, feeling the walls of your small apartment closing in. The truth was that the euphoria of dating a celebrity was fading, and the pressures were beginning to take a toll. You felt like a shadow of your former self, scared that the spotlight on him would ultimately burn you both.
Later that evening, you found yourself standing in the kitchen, the scent of spaghetti sauce filling the air, an attempt at normalcy. Just as you were about to plate up dinner, your phone buzzed on the table. It was a call from Nicholas, and your heart quickened.
“Hey,” you managed to say, feigning nonchalance.
“Hey, you! I just wrapped up for the day. How are you?” His voice was warm, inviting, grounding, despite the distance.
You took a deep breath and forced yourself to reply with enthusiasm, but the words caught in your throat. Silence stretched between you two as you contemplated how to broach the topic that loomed between you. Nicholas finally broke the silence, concern lacing his tone. “You there?”
“Yeah, just… saw something online.” You could hear the pitiful waver in your voice.
“What did you see?” He sounded wary, the weight of his career pressing down on both of you even over the phone.
You took another deep breath, knowing you had to be honest, yet fearing the repercussions. “The rumors about you and Jade …”
“Jade?” His voice instantly hardened, the warmth vanishing. “What rumors?”
You quickly explained the article, feeling more exposed with each word. You could almost feel him stiffen through the line as he processed the information. “That’s insane. It’s purely professional. We’re acting, Y/N! It’s work!”
“I know that,” you responded, a twinge of frustration creeping into your voice. “But everyone else doesn’t. I can’t— I don’t think I can handle this. All this scrutiny… it’s overwhelming.”
There was a heavy silence before he spoke again, his voice brimming with tension. “So you’re just going to believe what strangers think? I thought you knew me better than that.”
our heart raced as you protested, “It’s not that easy! You’re living in a different universe! I’m just… just trying to figure out if I fit into it.”
Are you saying you don’t want this?” His voice cracked, and you could feel the heat of the confrontation rising.
“I don’t know!” Tears pricked your eyes. “Maybe I’m just scared… scared that this isn’t real, that I’m just a passing thought for you.”
“Y/N, please—don’t say that.” His voice softened as if he could sense the fracture in your heart. “You’re not a passing thought. You’re everything to me. I’m just trying to keep everything balanced.”
“Is that really what this is about?” you asked, barely above a whisper. “Can you even make time for me with your crazy schedule?”
“I’m trying!” he snapped back, frustration spilling into the conversation. “Can’t you see I’m trying?”
The emotional storm swirling around you started to feel unbearable. “You’re not the only one who’s struggling, Nicholas. I love you, but I can’t keep fighting this war of doubts, not when every new headline feels like a dagger to the relationship we’ve built.”
His silence felt as heavy as the dense clouds outside. Finally, he sighed deeply. “I wish you could see how much I want this to work.”
Then show me,” you challenged, your voice trembling with vulnerability. “Show me how much I matter.”
A long pause hung in the air before he said, “I need you to trust me, Y/N. I’m all in—just give me the chance to prove it.”
The tension was palpable, a push and pull of raw emotions crashing in waves against the shore of your relationship. You both wanted to bridge the gap, but scarring doubts lingered like ghostly whispers, refusing to be easily banished.
“Alright,” you finally breathed, torn between belief and fear. “I’ll try.”
Good,” he replied softly, the warmth creeping back into his voice. “Just don’t shut me out, okay?”
“I won’t. I promise.” With that, you decided to let the conversation end for now. A bittersweet sense of hope flickered within you, but still, the tension lingered, unresolved, heavy between you like a storm waiting to break.
As night fell, you wrapped your arms around yourself, wishing for clarity. Your heart ached with uncertainty, leaving you to wonder if love could be enough to weather the darkest clouds. You just hoped that amidst the chaos, Nicholas would find a way to show you that your place in the storm was secure.
long shadows cast across your living room as you sat curled up on the couch, surrounded by a fortress of pillow cushions. The remnants of a half-eaten tub of your favorite ice cream lay abandoned beside you, and the TV buzzed in the background, but you couldn't concentrate on the screen. Your mind was tangled in knots, replaying everything that had happened in the last couple of weeks since that fateful argument with Nicholas.
He had stormed out after you accused him of being too wrapped up in his fame and his new co-star, Jade. You hadn't meant it to sound so harsh, but doubt had crept in, nurtured by the gossip blogs that twisted every picture of Nicholas and Jade into scandalous narratives. The backlash on social media was relentless, and it had hurt to see the way his fans celebrated every interaction with her. The moment had spiraled out of control, and you hadn’t seen him since.
Part of you had fought to suppress the nagging voice that whispered you were better off without him. But deep down, you knew that was a lie. Your heart ached with longing; the laughter you shared, the way his dark eyes sparkled when he told you stories from the set, and the intensity of the moments when it was just the two of you. It all felt like a dream slipping away and leaving nothing behind but confusion.
As you stared wistfully out of the window, a sudden vibration from your phone nearly startled you, pulling you from your reverie. Your heart raced as you picked it up. The screen lit up with Nicholas’s name, and for a moment, you hesitated. A part of you wanted to ignore it, to keep your distance and maintain the facade of being strong and self-sufficient. But the longing was almost unbearable, and you answered.
“Nicholas,” you breathed, your heart hammering against your ribcage.
Y/N,” he replied, his voice warm yet laced with an urgency that set you on fire. “Can we talk?”
“Yes,” you whispered, emotions swirling like a tempest inside you. His tone seemed both reassured and uncertain, a blend that made your stomach churn with anxiety. A few moments later, he announced, “I’m on my way.”
You nearly dropped the phone, panic intertwining with excitement in your chest. “Where? How?”
Just… meet me outside?” The call ended abruptly, leaving you both exhilarated and apprehensive. You sprang to your feet, the ice cream forgotten, rushing to compose yourself. You combed your fingers through your hair and replaced your sweatpants with a casual but flattering outfit. The wait felt like an eternity as you hovered near the window, glancing outside between drags of breaths.
Then you saw him, stepping out of an Uber, his familiar silhouette striking against the late afternoon sun. His hair tousled and a hint of stubble adorning his jawbone, he looked as if he had just walked out of a magazine cover—stunningly recognizable yet painfully human all at once. Your pulse quickened, a rush of love and anxiety engulfing you, surfacing just as he approached your door.
When you opened it, he stood there, his face a mixture of determination and vulnerability that tugged at your heartstrings. The moment hung heavy between you, neither of you quite ready to bridge the gap that had formed during your time apart.
“Can I come in?” he asked softly.
You nodded, stepping aside to allow him entry, and as you closed the door, a weight settled on your chest. He turned to face you, and in that instant, memories of laughter and shared moments flooded back, heavy with what you both had built amid the chaos of his celebrity life and escalating pressures.
Look,” Nicholas began, running a hand through his hair, a gesture you recognized as one of frustration. “I flew back from shooting just to talk to you. I needed to understand why…” He trailed off, searching for the right words.
“Why I doubted you?” you supplied, your voice catching in your throat. “Why I called out your relationship with Jade as something it wasn’t?”
Exactly.” He drew closer, his intensity drawing you into a whirlpool of emotions. “You have every right to feel insecure, and if I made you feel that way... I’m sorry. But I want you to know it’s always been you for me. The glimpses of my world you saw were never meant to keep you out. It was never just publicity for me. This…” He stepped back slightly, motioning between you two. “This is real.”
Tears stung your eyes at the sincerity of his words. “What about the rumors? People say…”
People say a lot of things. I let the noise drown out our silence. I thought I could handle it, but losing you... it’s the worst part of all this.” His voice smoldered beneath layers of vulnerability. “I’d give up everything if it meant keeping you close.”
You swallowed hard, the echoes of his confession wrapping around your heart. “But can we manage this? Can love withstand all the chaos surrounding you?”
He took a step closer, invading the space with his presence, his warm breath mingling with yours. “We can fight for it. The world can be loud, but I want every moment I can steal with you. The quiet parts. The messy ones. The fights when we disagree. All of it.”
He was close enough that you could feel the heat radiating from his skin, and for a moment, everything else faded—the doubts, the scrutiny, the world outside. It felt just like those stolen moments you had experienced before. “What if I can’t handle the spotlight?” you asked, your heart racing as you met his gaze.
Nicholas took your hand gently, brushing his thumb along your knuckles. “Then I’ll ensure you never have to face it alone. I’ll be there, holding your hand through every ordeal, every misunderstanding. We can figure this out together.”
His voice dropped to a husky whisper that made your heart flutter. The intensity between you was palpable, the distance collapsing into closeness until your lips were just inches apart. Your breath mingled with his as the weight of uncertainty melted into a spark of connection.
“I might need some convincing,” you teased lightly, searching for a way to ease the tension that had built. Nicholas grinned, and that boyish charm made your insides tingle.
"Then allow me." He closed the gap, capturing your lips with his, the kiss igniting everything you had been missing—desire and warmth swept over you like an all-consuming flame, melting away your fears. It was electric, each brush of his lips reminding you why you had fought so hard against doubt.
His hands found your waist, pulling you closer as his tongue teased your lips. You parted them, inviting him deeper, and he accepted the invitation with a hungry groan. His fingers trailed up your back, leaving a trail of goosebumps in their wake, before they tangled in your hair, holding you in place as he deepened the kiss.
You melted into him, your body pressing against his as your hands explored the contours of his chest. The feel of his muscles beneath your fingertips made you ache for more. You broke the kiss, gasping for breath, and he trailed soft kisses down your neck, making you shiver.
You taste amazing," he murmured, his voice laced with desire. "I could kiss you all night."
And I could let you," you whispered back, your voice barely audible over the music. "But I have a feeling there's more you want to do."
He chuckled, a low, throaty sound that made you shiver. "You're right, I want to see you," he said, his voice rough with need. "Every inch of you."
You smiled, slowly unbuttoning your blouse as his eyes followed your every move. He reached out, helping you slip it off your shoulders, his fingers brushing against your skin and sending shivers down your spine.
You're gorgeous," he said, his voice barely a whisper as he traced the line of your bra with his fingertips. "And I want to taste every inch of you."
He leaned down, his lips claiming yours once more as his hands unhooked your bra, letting it fall to the floor. You gasped as his mouth found your nipple, his tongue circling the sensitive bud before taking it into his mouth. You arched against him, a moan escaping your lips as he sucked and teased, sending waves of pleasure coursing through your body.
His hands roamed your body, exploring every curve and dip as he made his way down to your waistband. He unbuttoned your jeans, his fingers brushing against your skin as he slid them down your hips. You stepped out of them, standing before him in nothing but your panties.
He looked up at you, his eyes dark with desire. "You're amazing," he said, his voice a low growl. "And I want to make you feel amazing."
He hooked his fingers into the waistband of your panties, slowly pulling them down until they joined your jeans on the floor. You stood before him, completely naked, as he took a moment to appreciate every inch of your body.
"You're perfect," he said, his voice a low murmur. "Absolutely perfect."
He led you to his bed, laying you down gently before joining you. His hands explored your body, his touch gentle yet firm as he traced the line of your thigh, his fingers brushing against your most intimate place. You gasped, your hips arching against his touch as he slipped a finger inside you, his thumb circling your clit.
You're so wet," he murmured, his voice thick with desire. "So ready for me."
ou nodded, your breath coming in short gasps as he added another finger, his pace increasing as he brought you closer and closer to the edge. You could feel the pleasure building, your body tensing as you teetered on the brink.
Come for me," he whispered, his voice a command as his thumb pressed against your clit. You cried out, your body convulsing as waves of pleasure washed over you, leaving you breathless and trembling.
He kissed you gently, his fingers still inside you as he slowly pulled them out. You could feel the emptiness, the ache for more, and you knew that you wanted him inside you.
e rolled onto his back, pulling you on top of him. You straddled him, his cock hard and ready against your entrance. You guided him inside, gasping as he filled you completely. You began to move, your hips rising and falling as you found your rhythm.
He gripped your hips, his fingers digging into your skin as he met your thrusts, his cock sliding in and out of you with a wet, slapping sound that filled the room. You could hear your own moans, the sound of your breath as it caught in your throat, the feel of his cock inside you sending shockwaves of pleasure through your body.
"Faster," you gasped, your body aching for more. "Harder."
He obliged, his hips thrusting upwards as he met your downward strokes, his cock slamming into you with a force that made you cry out. You could feel the pleasure building again, your body tensing as you rode him, your fingers gripping his shoulders for support.
Yes," you gasped, your body convulsing as another orgasm washed over you, leaving you breathless and shaking. You could feel him inside you, his cock pulsing as he found his own release, his body tensing as he came with a low groan.
You collapsed against him, your body slick with sweat as you struggled to catch your breath. He wrapped his arms around you, holding you close as you both came down from the high.
"That was amazing," he said, his voice a low murmur as he kissed the top of your head. "Absolutely amazing."
You smiled, your body still tingling with the aftershocks of your orgasm. "It certainly Was"
Nicholas drew you closer, kissing you deeper, his hands weaving into your.
“Let’s not let anything come between us again,” he murmured, his forehead resting against yours.
“I want that too,” you replied, the tension of unresolved issues still swirling in the air. But there was something vibrant, something alive in the way his gaze held yours.
Nicholas paused, his expression turning serious once more, “I’ll fight for you, Y/N. Always.”

✫✫✫✫✫✫✫✫✫✫✫✫✫✫✫✫✫✫✫✫✫✫✫✫✫✫
It was your last summer before graduating college and being home made you want to cherish your last year even more. You were looking forward to it and ready to be done bartending so you could see your friends and have some real fun. Sure, this job made you a ton of cash, but being home was nothing in comparison to being with your college friends in a town totally catered to you and your fellow students. Although your hometown had its perks. At least it used to. Your longtime boyfriend had never left your hometown or went to college. He had instead opted for going into a trade and becoming an electrician.
Your relationship was strong at first, but every semester it became harder and harder to navigate. Time after time you had convinced yourself that he was still your best friend, but meeting new people in college and getting to experience the joys of youth on your own for the first time, had given you a lot of perspective. So every birthday, holiday, and summer, you felt like you were coming home to a completely different man. Yet you stayed with him because you really wanted to make it work and you told yourself you loved him. Yet something unexpected had happened. One evening at work, a group of men came in to watch the Rangers game. That’s when you first met him and that’s the night Joel Miller would become a regular at your bar.
He was clearly older, at least thirty, but you couldn’t help but practically gawk at him all night. And you couldn’t help but think that Joel was eyeing you too. But you felt a wave of guilt overcome you. You knew you shouldn’t feel like this. You knew you shouldn’t be staring down another man like that but you couldn’t help it. But his arms looked so strong, like he could carry you effortlessly. You couldn’t help the way you smiled every time he would share a boisterous laugh with his friends. His own sweet smile drew you in and you noticed he had the cutest cheek nimble on top of it. From his big chiseled nose to his perfectly crafted jawline, he was an absolute Adonis. Just then another wave of guilt washed over you and you tried to shake away your feelings of disloyalty as you walked into the kitchen, putting their food order in.
As you walked out of the kitchen and brought them their next set of drinks, you tried not to look at him so much but it’s hard not to. Then he spoke up.
“Hey darling? Could I get some more napkins when you get the chance?”
“Yeah sure!” You scurried off and came back immediately
He smiled at you as he thanked you which made your heart flutter. As you made your way back to the kitchen, another server catches up to you.
“Who’s the handsome cowboy at 13?” She asked
“Oh” you started “I’m not sure. Are you talking about the man in the white shirt?” You lied acting like she was talking about someone else
“Girl, don’t play. I can see him undressing you right now”
You glanced over, and caught him smiling at you while he sipped his beer. You started to smile back, when the guilt hit you again and you turned back to your co-worker.
“Oh…yeah…h-he is handsome yeah…but not like I’m interested.” You lied again
“Okaaay whatever you say…” she said unconvinced, rushing off to her table
Joel and his buddies left around 9 and you noticed that Joel leaves the biggest tip out of everyone. Around 10 o’ clock you clocked out and headed to your boyfriend’s house where you had planned on spending the night. Once you arrived, you walked straight into his room where he was playing some PC game. His back was towards you and he didn’t notice you at first with his big headset on. You hugged him from behind and kissed his cheek. He startled and you jumped back.
“Woah! Hey! Your home” he remarked, clutching his chest, barely glancing at you “Jesus you scared me.”
“Clearly” you giggled
“God don’t sneak up on me like that. Could have cost me the game” he sighed, as he returned his full attention to the screen.
“What ya playing?
“COD” he remarked dryly
“Are you gonna be finishing soon?” You inquired
“Ahh probably not. I figured you’d be too tired to hang after your shift so I told the boys I’d be on tonight.”
“I thought you said we would watch a movie after work tonight?”
“Oh yeah, I mean I don’t know I just kinda figured you’d want to go to bed when you got home. Plus you fall asleep to every movie we watch together”
“Yeah” you sighed in disappointment, wanting to follow it up with “but that’s not the point.” You knew he’d get upset at you for pulling him away from his game. “I just want to cuddle you.”
“Ok ok I got ya. I’ll be in bed soon, ok.” He said halfhearted, still not looking at you.
You changed into a pair of sweat shorts and an old shirt and got ready for bed. As you climb into bed you want to cry. And you questioned your guilt from tonight. Maybe it was because it had been a while since a man seemingly flirted with you that made you realize just how lousy your boyfriend has become. When was the last time he genuinely made you feel special? You fell asleep, but were woken up by small kisses on your neck, but your boyfriend began to move more aggressively, trusting and grinning his crotch against your ass. At that point you’re too tired for sex, and all you wanted was for him to hold you and care for you.
“Mmm babe I’m really tired” you whined
“I thought you wanted attention?” He asked, continuing his actions. You pushed away slightly but he continued, only pulling you closer against his chest.
“I do, just not like this. Not right now ok? I just want to sleep.”
He sighed, turning over
“See this is why I don’t want to do a movie with you. I knew you would be too tired.”
“That’s not…” you wanted to finish your sentence again and say “that’s not fair” but once again that would probably upset him and now he was annoyed with you so you don’t want to push it. “I just want to sleep now ok.”
“Ok. It’s fine. Goodnight.” He huffed, falling asleep.
The next couple of shifts your mind is preoccupied by your newfound feelings about your relationship. Your boyfriend wasn’t abusive by any means, but it was clear the relationship wasn’t healthy anymore. That’s when the crying at work started. Mainly because you had just come from his house before each shift and every interaction with him pained you. The only thing that kept you from continuously calling off was Joel. Almost every shift around 5 o’clock he would come in, order a few beers, maybe something to eat, and chat it up with you.
By the third week, all your co-workers were teasing you about him. Whenever his truck would pull up in the parking lot, someone would come get you.
“Your cowboy is here!” Someone yelled out to you, stepping out of the kitchen. You left the servers station to greet him.
“Hey Joel! Mich Ultra? You asked
“You know it darling. How you’ve been?” He smiled, causing you to practically melt into a puddle. You gathered yourself and smiled back at him.
“About the same as the last time you saw me.”
“And still as beautiful as ever.” He winked
“You flatter me Mr. Miller. I bet Mrs. Miller is one special lady hmm?” You asked more or less trying to see if he was actually flirting with you or just being nice.
“She would if there was one.”
“Oh I thought you said you have a daughter?” You questioned more
“And a man can’t be a single dad in this world? How sexist of you” he chuckled sarcastically
You rolled your eyes at him and laughed along.
“I just thought such a handsome cowboy as yourself would have a beautiful gal to go home to.”
“I wish…” he sighed, eyes giving you a once over
“So where is she then? Your daughter? If not with her mom. You know we allowed kids in before 9 right?”
“Yeah, she just has soccer practice at this time three days a week. I figured why not wait for her to be done and come see you since I’m out and about.” He explained
“Ain’t you just a charmer.” I’ll get you that beer.”
You walk over to behind the bar and fetch Joel his beer.
“He’s just all over you” one of the bartenders remarked
“And he tips well too.”
“Gee I wonder why” they smirked, giving you a look “how does your boyfriend feel about him?”
“I mean he’s just a customer. They flirt all the time and who doesn’t like the extra cash?” You started quickly
“Mhmm sure” they said
You walk back to him, bringing him his beer and continuing to chat with him. He ordered another beer then left to go pick up his daughter Sarah.
Now every time at work shift, it felt like an escape. It also felt like a fantastic secret that only you knew about. A fantasy being played out in real life. Joel was so charming.
Even though he was older, his youthful demeanor shone through. He was caring too. If he wasn’t asking about you and your life, he was talking about his daughter. You could tell she was his world. He absolutely adored her, and you loved to listen to him go on and on about her. You didn’t quite care what your co-workers would say or how your boss didn’t like that you hovered around his table, sometimes neglecting your other ones.
But he couldn’t complain too much given Joel was a respectful, paying customer. And a great tipper. And he would always leave a little note on his receipt. Nothing too flirtatious, just innocent enough to toe the line. This went on for a couple more weeks, your boyfriend none the wiser. Not like he was paying much attention to you anymore. Every note, you would take them and make sure to hide them when you got home. You stored them in your sock drawer and kept them secret like everything else about him. You still felt guilty though and realize that you need to end things with your boyfriend. It’s harder than you thought and truthfully you don’t know how to leave someone you’ve cared about that much. And been with for so long. But talking to Joel made you realize what you needed. And what you wanted. And you wanted him. And something told you he wanted you too.
Then back at home, living with your boyfriend it was a totally different reality. He felt so disconnected from you, so indifferent. And the more you faded away from him the less you felt like you really loved him still. And he noticed you pulling away from him. One night, you came home and had kept another one of Joel’s receipts.
“See you Wednesday :) Joel”
You left your server book out on his bed, along with your purse and hopped into the shower without thinking. When you got out of the shower, your boyfriend was sitting on his gamer chair, nose deep in your server book. You froze and tightened the towel around you nervously.
“Oh hey babe. When did you get home? I thought you and the boys were having a boys night? “
“We decided to just get dinner instead. What’s this?” He asked, holding up the receipt.
“Oh, just one of my regulars. Don’t worry about it.” You giggled, trying to play it cool reaching for the book. He holds it back from you and stands up.
“Who’s Joel?”
“My regular” you repeated
“Oh yeah. I bet he tips you well hmm? Pays you lots of attention?” He asked accusatorily.
“I-he…he’s just a regular we get them all the time.”
“Yeah, but you said he is one of YOUR regulars. Why yours? Why is he writing you notes?”
“He-he just always sits in my section I don’t know. That’s not too unusual…and a lot of customers write thank you notes and stuff I can’t control them!” You insisted, readjusting your towel again
“You expect me to believe that?”
You scoffed and rolled your eyes.
“Why are you acting like this?”
“Well I don’t need creepy men hitting on my girl at work.” He barked back
“He’s not creepy and you’re being ridiculous.”
“Oh then what is he?”
“He’s just a customer!” You argued even though it was a lie
From that moment on, your boyfriend had grown highly suspicious of your relationship with him and Joel. Wednesday rolled around and Joel showed up again as expected. You nervously approached him as he sat down.
“Well hey their sugar” he smiled
“Hey Joel” you replied, only giving him a half smile
He searched your face and could tell something is up.
“You ok?”
“Yeah, just life stuff. So Mich Ultra?”
He nodded and you walked off. His eyes followed you, watching you as you went to the bar. You came back and gave him his beer. You wanted to set it down and walk away, but Joel’s concerned eyes beckoned you to say.
“Thinking about food?” You asked him
“Maybe. I’m sorry doll, I don’t mean to pry but if I did anything to put you off-“
“No Joel of course it’s not you it’s just…relationship issues” you huff
“Sorry to hear that sugar. I hope y’all can work it out”
“I hope so” you sigh, knowing it’s a lie.
Just then your boyfriend storms into the bar. You don’t notice him at first, but then you hear a set of heavy footsteps approaching towards you and you look up. Confused, you call out his name.
“What are you doing here?”
“Can’t visit my girl at work anymore?” He asked glancing at Joel
“Excuse me.” You mumble to Joel, walking over to him and grabbing his hand. You lead him out of the building.
“What are you doing?!” You shouted
“Is that him? Is that Joel?” he sneered
“Why do you care all of a sudden hmm? You’ve barely paid attention to me in the last few months. What happened to us?” You nearly sobbed.
He sighed and shook his head
“What do you want from me? I mean I’m frustrated with you too if that helps. You have completely shut yourself off, don’t tell me shit! I’m upset too! Especially that I know you’re flaunting yourself around weirdo old men.”
“Stop! That’s it, I can't do this anymore. I’m so scared to tell you anything because of how you act when I share your feelings. When I come home, you ignore me and frankly it seems like you only give me affection when you want to fuck me!”
He rolled his eyes and scoffed, throwing his arms up.
“Oh my god! You over exaggerate everything. Is this why you’re acting like an attention seeker? Because you think I don’t pamper you?”
“Unbelievable. Pampering really…you know what I’m not arguing with you! I’m done! We’re done!” You shout and storm back into the back
“Done? Really like that? Four years done like that? Fine whatever, be that way, I know you don’t mean it. I’ll see you at home.” And he storms off back to his car.
You wanted to cry as you stormed back into the bar, but you held yourself together.
You tried to hide your clearly upset face as you rushed back into the kitchen and into the back alley next to the dumpsters. Joel noticed and ran out of the bar looking for you. He searched around the building then he called out to you.
“Hey. What’s wrong.”
You can’t help it. One look at him, and you ran into his arms. He embraced you, holding you tight.
“Hey my little firefly…what’s wrong?” He asked, his sweet southern drawl falling like your tears.
“I loved him Joel… why do people stop loving you back…” you sobbed
Joel gently stroked your hair, attempting to calm you down. It didn’t feel strange to be held by him. You felt safe, and comfortable in his arms, despite barely knowing him or even having any interaction with him outside of work, that moment felt right.
“I don’t know darling.” Joel sighed
You eventually gathered yourself and go back inside with him. Your boss thankfully didn’t notice your absence. Joel returned to his table and you returned to your other patrons. After his beer, Joel left and you didn’t really get a chance to see him leave. When you went to collect his tap you saw another note this time with his phone number and it read:
“Gotta go get Sarah. Call me if you need to talk”
Your heart dropped. He had finally given you his number and at the same time you still felt guilty. Even though you had, despite what your now ex-boyfriend thinks, finally ended your relationship. And here the opportunity was. Right in front of you. You look at the receipt, take it, fold it and immediately put it in your pocket to keep it safe. You clock out at ten and are all too eager to get into your car to call Joel. Once you do, you dial the number and it rings.
“Hello?”
“He-hey Joel it’s me…” you uttered
“You ok darling?” He asked sweetly
Maybe it was his voice, the question, or the fact that the weight of the burdens of your life seemed to have fallen apart around you, but you cried again. Letting it all out and at the same time feeling better than ever.
“Hey hey hey” Joel whispered “I just put Sarah to bed…why don’t you come over here? We can talk ok?”
You nodded and sobbed.
“Ok…”
Joel texted you his address and you put it into your GPS. It’s only about a ten minute drive to his house and when you pulled up, you nervously exit your vehicle. You walked up the front door and knocked quietly, not wanting to wake Sarah. A moment later, it swung open and Joel’s handsome face looked at yours with deep concern.
“Come on in.”
You nodded and walked into his home. As expected it’s much nicer than your boyfriends, but then again Joel is an actual adult, with a kid, and mortgage to pay off so it was to be slightly expected. It wasn’t too fancy, just your standard suburban home. You walked over to the couch and Joel followed you.
“Can I get you something to drink?”
“Honestly I need something a little strong. Got any whiskey?”
He smiled ear to ear.
“Ya betcha.” And he rushed off into his kitchen.
You made yourself comfortable and tried to relax as you looked around Joel’s living room. You curiously strode over to his bookshelf and read the titles. Lots of history books, a few fiction and then you noticed the framed photo of him and his daughter. You realize you’ve never seen a photo of her, but she’s just as beautiful as you could have imagined. You smiled and Joel caught you in your curiosity.
“She’s been my little gem since day one. Just me and her. I don’t think I ever told ya, but her mom left us so…” he remarked.
You looked at him, smiled and nodded.
“She’s beautiful, Joel. You’re a great dad.”
Joel sat the glasses of whiskey down on the shelf and reached for your hand. You gasp slightly, look at where he’s touched you and then look up into his eyes. He tucked a piece of your hair behind your ear.
“You asked me why people stop loving people back and ya know, I still don’t have a good answer for that. I guess it’s because I’ve been asking myself the same thing for the last twelve years.”
“Joel…you’re such a good man…” you sighed, squeezing his hand.
“You’re too kind darling.” He smiled
“No really.”
You stared at him for a moment. His eyes searched your own looking for what he suspected you wanted from him. He cupped your face and he leaned in to kiss you. His lips fit perfectly against yours, like he was made for you. It was perfect and passionate. He was so gentle, yet you could feel how badly he had wanted this moment with you. He pulled back for a moment to make sure he hadn’t crossed the line.
“Got a bedroom?” You smirked
Before you knew it, Joel was crawling on top of you and you took off your shirt. At the same time he was busy frantically kissing your neck and jaw. He tossed it off and Joel took a moment to admire your chest. He gasped and reached to grope your breasts. Your soft, perky mounds fit perfectly in his hand and he began to massage you. He was in utter awe of you. Almost overwhelmed that he was getting to have you like this. You stared back up at him, equally in awe at that moment.
His big brown eyes melted your heart and all your troubles melted too. Fuck your lousy ex. All you wanted and needed was Joel. He kissed you again as he continued to play with your breasts. You let out a few giggles that turned into harsh, sharp moans as he moved his mouth down your body.
“Fuck…” you whispered, the word dancing around the room.
As his lips trailed you, your body reacted, your hips bucked and you were practically squirming under him. When his mouth found your cleavage, you felt the heat in between your legs grow stronger.
He continued to kiss you, only breaking away to take off his own shirt. He was toned, his skin smooth and he was unbelievably broad. You couldn’t help but admire the way his collar bone met his neckline. It was clean and sharp. You tried not to think of your ex, but in comparison he was not as fit as the gorgeous man in front of you. You placed your hands on his chest and felt his pecs, running your fingers down to his abdomen. You leaned up to kiss him again. His lips were so soft and addictive. You could’ve kissed him all night, but your desires beckoned for more. He held you up slightly and flipped you over. As he did he unhooked your bra and you let it fall off your chest. He tossed it on the ground and admired your bare chest for the first time.
“You’re so gorgeous. “ he uttered as your hair fell in front of you.
He pushed it out of the way and cupped your face. He pulled you back down to capture your mouth once again, lightly gripping the back of your neck. Your bare boobs pressed down against his chest, a feeling which you love. Skin on skin, the close intimacy and the feeling of being wanted more than just something to fuck. That’s how your ex had made you feel the last few months when you and him had sex, so being touched, cherished by Joel made your head spin. You weren’t used to it and you could feel your body reacting to the unfamiliar sensations. Joel noticed.
“Baby, you ok?”
You blushed at the nickname, smiled and nodded.
“It’s just been some time since I felt like this.”
“When’s the last time he touched you?”
“I-I mean we would have sex once or twice a week…”
“When is the last time he really touched you though. Made you feel special?”
You simply stared at him speechless and tilted your head.
“You know what, forget about him. Just focus on me. Let me make you feel good like you deserve.”
With that, he decided to be bold and reached for your mini skirt. He pulled it down past your hips and you lifted them up so he could pull it off you. He tossed it on the ground with your bra and his hands immediately moved to cup your ass. He squeezed the pillowy flesh as you moved your hips. You could feel him getting hard under you and you eagerly reached for his belt. His hands moved up to your waist, rocking you more. You undo his belt and he lifted up his hips to take off his pants. He slid them off along with his boxers, revealing his length. It was perfect. Just the right size, the mushroom tip red and swollen. Encouraged by his actions, you slide your panties off and you are both completely bare in front of each other.
He soaked the sight of your naked beauty in, eyes trailed over all your curves and edges. You were simply divine to him, a work of art. He runs his hands back up to your chest, briefly groping them, his eyes completely focused on your face. You grab his cock and began slowly stroking it. His mouth drops slightly as he watched you. He tilted his head back on the pillow briefly, before he looked back up to watch you. His breathing became ragged and you picked up your pace. You start to move on top of him, guiding his cock to your entrance, but he stops you.
“Let me get you wet.” He insisted, grabbing your hips and flipping you again. Immediately, he kissed down your body, worshiping you. “You’re so perfect. If you were my girl I’d never stop showing you how perfect you are.” He muttered in between kisses.
He kissed your inner thigh before he experimentally rubbed your clit. You gasped, your hips bucked in his face. He smirked at your reaction, loving how you responded to his touch. Taking that as a sign you wanted more, he gently kissed your slit. He gave you another one and another one until the little pecks of his lips turned into the sloppy mess of his tongue. It had been ages since a man had gone down on you like this. Your ex-never warmed you up beforehand anymore, too eager to satisfy his own desire and pleasure. Joel knew how to be a real man. His tongue and lips suck and rub at your core. He moved his head too, adding to the friction. You reached for his brown locks, desperately in need of something to hold onto. He hung onto your hips and he moved you against his face. He moaned against your core, eating you out like you were the most delicious meal of his life. He pulled back, out of breath and drunk in your juices.
“Could taste ya all day darling.”
You nodded as he inserted a finger in you, twisting it. He slowly pumped it into you, curling it up as he added another finger. He watched as your face scrunched up in pleasure. He sped his hand up, totally focused on getting you to finish.
“Joel…Joel…Joel…” you chanted “Gonna cum”
He nodded and worked you a bit more until you tightened down around his digits. You came hard, the euphoria rushed through your body like a roller coaster.
“So beautiful oh my god.” He praised, rubbing your thighs.
He crawled back up to you. He kissed you letting you taste yourself. You hadn’t felt this kind of passion in a while, this intense feeling of intimacy.
“You ready? He asked, slowly rubbing your clit again.
You nodded as he lined himself up with your slit. You felt as his cock pushed past your folds and stretched you out perfectly. You gasped and he kissed your cheek feather light. He cooed at you as he slid in, hitting the back of your cervix. You gasped, which turned into a raspy moan that floated from your lips. Joel cupped your face, stroking his thumb across your cheek. You two shared in the silence of your pleasure for a moment, taking in how good the other felt. He moved, slow at first then he sped up. He felt so full inside you, and you lost yourself in the sensation of his length. You could have stayed like that all night, the steady motion of his cock pumping into you was pure bliss.
“Does that feel good?” Joel inquired lovingly
“Yes, please Joel I want more. I need more of you.”
Per your request, he gave you more, slightly giving into his own desires to want to ravish you. But given it’s your first time with him, Joel didn’t want a sloppy, lustful encounter. Yet, he picked up his speed, his length now hitting the back of your walls at an almost brutal pace. Joel makes sure to keep checking in on you to make sure you’re okay or that it doesn’t hurt too much. You panted and panted as he continued, gripping onto his waist with your legs, pushing him deeper into you. He moved a bit more then flipped over. You smiled at him, slightly out of breath.
“I want to see that beautiful body riding me. Is that ok?”
You nod enthusiastically, slowly starting to move your hips. Joel’s hands groped your ass, rocking you on him more. He sat up, pressed his lips firmly against yours and held you tight. You started to bounce on him which elicited a guttural moan from his lips. He moved his hand to your hips, looking up at you in awe.
How could anyone not treat you like the absolute treasure you are?
Joel thought and wondered to himself as he held you. He couldn’t believe that your ex-boyfriend would neglect you. What a foolish man, but now he had you. In the exact moment he had imagined. He had you. He moved his hips in sync with yours. You steadied yourself on his shoulders, ecstasy, providing you escape. Your breath hitched as you feel his cock stiffen more inside you. He was close. You didn’t want it to end but then again you had a feeling this wouldn’t be your last encounter with Joel. A few last rocks of your hips and he was spent. He pulled you off him abruptly as he shot his load onto his stomach. You caught your breath, resting your forehead against his. You held his jaw in your hands, settling your hips.
“Joel…” you whispered, the words ghosting over your lips.
“Yes darling..” he whispered back
“Y-you have no idea how much I wanted you like this.”
“I know. Me too, but not just like this. I want you. All of you. Can I please have it?” He nearly begged
Your enthusiasm took over you and you planted a spontaneous kiss on his lips.
“Yes Joel…you can have all of me.”

a little something old blurb for @harry-on-broadway's short n' sweet fic challenge + a request from agesssss ago (literally august 2023) The mc in something old decided to get a tattoo for Harry too..
word count: 2.5k ya girl saw the prompt and said let me do 5x that 🤦♀️
---
You blame the wine.
Well, the wine combined with the way he’d been acting all dinner, searing gaze never leaving your face, his eyes drifting down to your lips when you were in the middle of telling a story. How in between courses he reached below the table, wrapping his hand around the bottom of your chair and pulling so you were side by side, his arm resting along the back of it, fingers drawing patterns on your shoulder. How somewhere between glasses two and three he leant in to whisper in your ear about how fucking good you looked, pressing a few kisses along your neck before pulling back to focus on his own plate.
He’s always handsy but it takes on a different nature when he’s been drinking. His grip is tighter, his eyes linger for longer. He’s got to have his hands on you in some capacity, his attention never wavering from your orbit. Most social norms that he would typically follow are out the window; he won’t give anyone else an ounce of attention. Doesn’t care about being polite or upholding his usual good manners, not when his focus is on one thing and one thing only.
You.
So you can’t blame yourself for ruining the surprise you had been planning for weeks now, the one you took great lengths to hide, to save for the wedding day. You’re good at surprises, you know you are, you pulled off that 30th birthday surprise - which took weeks of planning thank you very much. You’ve managed to surprise him on tour multiple times - nothing quite compares to seeing him walk into his dressing room and freezing in absolute shock when he sees you before instantly wrapping you up in his arms, holding tight while murmuring thank yous into your hair.
So you thought you had this one in the bag. This surprise tattoo you got in the middle of the night at your hen do, all your girls taking bets on how long it would take before you revealed it to him - Jenna said you were going to show him the second you got home and you just about cut her out of the bridal party. The audacity.
You had facetimed him that night, absolutely drunk off your arse and making him laugh so hard his eyes crinkled. You were stood outside the bar, showing off your obnoxious bridal sash while you slurred out that you just wanted to see the face you were going to love for the rest of your life. It made his face bloom into the greatest shade of pink you’ve ever seen. And even then! You said nothing.
But how can you blame yourself now, when he guides you out of the restaurant with a hand on your lower back, the heat of it burning through your dress. When he takes your hand as you navigate your way through the busy Italian streets, bustling with activity, the excitement of early summer days in the air. He pulls you down a quieter side street, where it’s just the two of you and the cobblestones and street lamps lighting your way home.
He pauses and turns to you, face flushed from the alcohol, his eyes grazing over your features as his lips twitch up into a soft smile, his hands coming up to cup your face, thumbs rubbing against your cheeks.
He takes a deep inhale, shaking his head almost in disbelief at the sight of you, which has you swaying on your feet more than you already are. He leans in slow, mouth inches away from yours, eyes closing as he breathes you in.
He seems content to just stay there, mouth inches from yours, just teasing you. You can’t help but whine, impatience eating away at you. He huffs a laugh at the sound, eyes fluttering open to lock with yours before he brings your mouth to his and just kisses the hell out of you, tongue gliding into your mouth as he holds you close to him. You wind your arms around his neck, hands catching on the sweater he’s got draped across his back - the one he swore he brought for himself but you know he only brought it just in case you got cold.
He moves one hand down your body to wrap his arm around your waist, pulling you impossibly closer as he slides his hand up into your hair to hold you in place while he slowly takes you apart with his lips, his tongue sliding over yours in a smooth pass, hand tightening in your hair when you softly moan.
He pulls away slowly, if only to breathe, not letting go of you for a moment as he presses kisses along your cheek, your bodies so close together you can feel the way you’re both catching your breath.
“Wanted to do that all night. Couldn’t believe this gorgeous girl was sat at my table,” he says, lips dragging against your skin. “All mine.”
“I am,” you gasp out and you can feel the words leave your mouth before you can stop them. “Got something to prove it.”
His hands tighten on you. “That ring, yeah?” he asks.
And there’s your out. But for whatever reason - be it the wine, the dinner, the way his hands are holding you tight, the way his breath feels against your neck - it just makes you want to give him everything. You shake your head and he freezes. And then you freeze.
Shit.
“Don’t go all shy on me now,” he mutters against your neck, pressing a kiss there before pulling his head back to look at you. His curious eyes roaming over your face, lips twitching into a smirk.
You scrunch up your face, cringing at yourself for letting it slip so fucking close to the finish line.
“Was trying to wait to show you until the wedding.” you say and his eyes light up, a man on a mission you already know you lost. “I blame you. If you weren’t so…”
Your hand gestures in a circle at him, not stopping at anything particular, just at his whole overall aura. His vibe. Him.
“Bloody irresistible?” he says, fully smirking now and you try your best to fight your smile, shaking your head at him.
“That’s one word for it.” you deadpan and he honks out a laugh.
“Was working wonders on you a few moments ago.”
“Clearly.” you say and his gaze darkens, refocusing on the task at hand.
He tightens his hold on your hips and walks you backwards until your back presses up against the terrace wall, his hand coming up to cradle the back of your head to soften the blow, though he really is being gentle. You place your hands on his chest, feeling the steady beat of his heart. It’s just the two of you tucked in a corner of the street with the glow of the nearby streetlamp casting shadows on his face, twinkling eyes never wavering from yours.
“Can I see it now?” he asks softly, smile creeping on his face like he already knows the answer. He presses a soft kiss on your jaw, then the corner of your mouth.
“Please, baby,” he mumbles, the words barely out of his mouth before he’s pressing it to yours, kissing you slowly, thoroughly, the way he knows you like it, the way he knows makes you melt in his hands.
He pulls back slowly, breathing out a laugh when your lips try to chase his but he keeps his distance so he can look right at you.
“‘S it at home?” he asks, gaze darkening when you shake your head. You can see him swallow, your eyes catching on the way his throat moves as you try to slow down your racing heart, the way your heartbeat is thundering in your ears. Now or never.
You keep your gazes locked as you bring your thumb up to your mouth, tongue darting out to lick the pad, heat flushing through you as his eyes track the movement. You lift your right hand and start rubbing at your ring finger, quickly licking at your thumb once more until you remove all the makeup covering up the tattoo.
You can feel his eyes practically burning a hole through your hand, desperate to see what you’ve been hiding all this time. Once all the makeup is cleaned off, you look back up at him and hold out your hand. His brow is furrowed as he looks down and then he sees it.
It’s not small, as far as finger tattoos go. A single H, in his handwriting, taking up the space between the lower half of your ring finger and your knuckle. Big enough where it’ll still be partly visible under the ring in a few weeks. Big enough that there is no doubt who it's for. Who you belong to. Who belongs to you.
You dreamt of this bit, what his face would look like when he saw it. What his reaction would be. For every day of the last month. And still you couldn’t have predicted this - the way all his breath leaves him in a rush, blinking rapidly as he grabs your hand and holds it up in the light, rocking back on his heels, practically swooning.
“‘S that - that’s….” he cuts himself off, thumb rubbing over the tattoo. He sniffles, frozen on the spot as he stares at your hand. He takes a deep breath and looks back up at you, eyes a bit glassy, lips twitching as he tries to get ahold of himself.
You bring your free hand up to cup his face, palm resting on the stubble, thumb dragging along his cheeks as he looks back at the tattoo.
“Got a tattoo for me?” he croaks out, leaning into your palm. “Got inked up for me, baby?”
“I did.” you basically croak back, the look on his face making your stomach somersault.
“Y’ said you’d never -”
“Changed my mind.” you say. “Really liked the idea of having something permanent for you on my skin.”
His grip on your hip tightens as his head falls to your collarbone, seemingly overwhelmed as he all but whimpers. His thumb hasn’t stopped slowly rubbing over the tattoo. You slide your hand up into his hair, nails scratching against his scalp and he leans up to kiss your cheek.
“Tell me about it?” he mumbles against your skin. “Please. Want the whole story.”
So you do. All the hazy details. How when you were on a pub crawl, making your way to the final destination of the evening, you passed a tattoo parlor and it felt like fate. You had known you wanted to get this done for ages, had photos on your phone of the proper lettering and size and no time seemed more appropriate than when you were out with your favorite girls in the whole world, all there to hold your hand through it.
How all you could picture when you got it done, when you were sitting through the sting of it, was the look on his face. How you’ve spent the last few weeks feeling quite stupid diligently covering it up, even over the covering and the nasty peeling which felt a bit insane. How all you’ve wanted for the last month is to tell him about it, to show him and to see this look on his face but you were waiting for the wedding day. How none of that matters now because you’ve got him looking at you the way he is and it's better than you could’ve ever dreamt. Has you feeling like you’re burning from the inside out.
“‘M glad you told me now,” he says, eyes still glimmering with emotion as he looks at you, still holding onto your hand, thumb over your finger. “Wouldn’t have been able to focus on the day. Can barely focus now.”
“You like it?”
“Like it? Are y’ joking?” he asks incredulously. “Baby, I love it. Feel like ‘m losing my mind.”
“Yeah?”
“Yeah,” he says, huffing a laugh. “Y’ know what mine mean to me…’s like I carry the people I love with me wherever I go. A reminder of how loved I am. ‘Nd how much I love them in return. And you doing this for me? I -”
His voice cuts out, thick with emotion as he swallows, taking a shaky breath as he blinks rapidly, holding your hand tightly in his. He huffs a shaky laugh when your thumb leans up to wipe away the errant tears that have slipped out. Shaking his head as if to clear it. Taking another deep breath before he speaks again.
“Just the thought of you… you going through the pain of this - wait, how bad did it hurt?”
“Really not that bad,” you say, softly giggling at the concern on his face. “Stung a bit but was nothing. Worth it.”
“My brave girl.” he says and you roll your eyes as he presses a kiss to the tattoo. “God this is the greatest thing ever. Can’t decide if ‘m gonna burst into tears or fuck you against this wall.”
You honk out a laugh at that.
“Both works for me” you shrug, making him laugh just as hard. “You've always been a great multitasker.”
He wiggles his eyebrows at you, smiling when you laugh again. His eyes roam over your features as the laughter dies down, his expression growing more serious as he shifts his gaze from your face to your hand, thumb moving along your skin as if to prove it’s permanence and then looks back to you.
“Christ. I love you.” he says sincerely, the look in his eyes making your breath catch in your throat. “I love you so much, you know that right? Almost can’t put it into words. I just. Can’t believe y’ did this for me. My girl with my handwriting on her body. Forever.”
“Yeah,” you say, just as sincerely. Feeling it deep in your bones. This is it. It’s him. Always has been. “Forever.”
You see the way the word hits him, how he blinks back against the emotion as he takes a deep breath, looking back at the tattoo on your finger, lips twitching up into a disbelieving smile.
He presses a soft kiss to it before placing your hand on his shoulder and slowly kissing his way up your arm, hands falling to your hips as you slide your hand into his hair. He moves along your shoulder, infusing his love into your skin with every press of his lips. He lingers on your neck as he presses his body right up against yours, hips pressing into yours as he sucks a mark into your skin.
He kisses his way up to your jaw, eyes locking with yours before he pulls you impossibly closer and kisses you so deeply it makes your head spin. If there was any doubt in your mind about how he felt about you in this moment, it's answered in every press of his lips against yours, the way his tongue slides over yours, the way his hands come up to cradle your face when you sigh into his mouth, holding you so gently despite the way he’s kissing you so hard, his beard and mustache scraping against your skin but you lean into the burn.
“Let me take y’ home and show you how much I like the tattoo, baby.” he says, panting into your ear when he pulls away. “Would show you right now but the things ‘m dreaming up -”
He cuts himself off with a groan, hands tightening on your body as he bites down on your neck.
“Want to make y’ feel as good as this makes me feel.” he says lowly and heat flushes through you. You’d give him just about anything.
“Yeah,” you quickly agree, barely getting the word out before he’s claiming your mouth again, hands sliding all over your body, squeezing as they roam.
“Let’s go home,” he says when he reluctantly pulls away, taking your hands and pulling you off the wall and into his arms. He wraps one arm around your waist, splaying his hand across your belly to hold you against him, low, possessive.
And if the walk home takes twice as long because he keeps stopping to press you up against the nearby scenery, dragging his lips against your skin until you melt in his hands, so be it.
You’re right where you want to be. In his arms. Forever.

THE LOVE WE LEFT BEHIND
summary: a fic based on this post by @harrysblackcoat about ex husband!harry
The bustling aisles of the supermarket were crowded with shoppers, each lost in their own little world of grocery lists and meal plans. Among them, Harry navigated with practiced ease, a small smile playing on his lips as he tossed items into his basket. He glanced at his watch, noting the time. It wouldn't do him any favours being late for their weekly family dinner.
These weekly family dinners were something he cherished, a remnant of the time when things were simpler between him and y/n. Even though they were no longer together, they both agreed to keep the routine for the sake of the kids—and perhaps, for themselves as well.
As Harry scanned the shelves, his eyes landed on a familiar sight. There, nestled among the other sweets, was Y/N's favourite chocolate. Without a second thought, he reached out and grabbed a few bars, adding them to his basket, ignoring the pang of longing in his chest. It was a small gesture, but one that brought a smile to his face, nonetheless. Friendly, he told himself. Just a friendly gesture.
He continued down the aisle, picking up the last few items on the list y/n had sent him when he told her he was popping into Tescos before meeting her at her house. As he turned the corner to the checkout, he couldn't help but think about Y/N. It had been months since their divorce, but the feelings he had for her hadn't diminished. If anything, seeing her every week only made him realise how much he still loved her.
With the groceries bagged and paid for, Harry headed to his car. The drive to Y/N's house was a short one, but it gave him enough time to replay the memories of their time together. The laughter, the late-night talks, the way she used to cuddle up to him on the couch. He sighed, pushing those thoughts away as he pulled into her driveway.
Y/N opened the door before he could knock, a warm smile on her face. "Hey, come on in."
"Hey," he replied, stepping inside and handing her the bags. "Got everything on the list."
She glanced through the bags and paused when she saw the chocolates. "Harry, you didn't have to—"
"I know," he interrupted, his heart beating a little faster. "I saw them and thought of you."
Y/N's heart fluttered at his words, her resolve wavering for a moment.
But then she remembered why they were no longer together-the hurt, the betrayal, the shattered dreams-and she pushed the thought aside.
"Thanks," she said, forcing a smile as she took her seat at the table.
As they moved to the kitchen to put away the groceries, their 4 year old daughter, Blair, came running in. "Daddy!" she squealed, wrapping her small arms around Harry's legs.
Harry scooped her up, laughing. "Hey, my buzzing bee! Missed you."
Blair grinned, his eyes sparkling with excitement. "Missed you too, Daddy."
Y/N watched them, a fond expression on her face. Seeing Harry with their children always tugged at her heartstrings. Despite everything, he was an amazing father, and she couldn't deny the connection they all still shared.
"How's Rosa?" Harry asked, referring to their other daughter.
"She's upstairs napping," Y/N replied. "Should be up soon."
"Good," he said, setting Blair down. "I can't wait to see her."
As they all sat down for dinner after Blair woke up, Harry found himself stealing glances at Y/N. She looked beautiful as always, her laughter lighting up the room. He missed the days when that laughter was for him, when their life was uncomplicated and full of love. But those days were gone, and he had to accept that.
After dinner, as they cleared the table, Harry noticed Y/N sneaking a piece of the chocolate he'd bought. She caught his eye and smiled, a small, private moment that made his heart ache.
"Thanks again for the chocolates," she said quietly.
"Anytime," he replied, wishing he could say more, wishing he could tell her how much he still loved her.
But as the evening drew to a close, Harry knew he had to leave sooner or later. He helped tuck Rosa and Blair into bed. He read them a story, their little faces glowing with happiness. It was moments like these that made everything worth it, even if it was bittersweet. They needed stability, and he wasn't going to let his personal feelings between their mum get in the way.
When it was finally time for him to leave, he lingered at the door, hesitating. Y/N walked him out, the night air cool and crisp around them.
"Thanks for coming," she said, her voice soft.
"Wouldn't miss it for the world," he replied, looking into her eyes. "You know that."
She nodded, and for a brief moment, it felt like old times. Like they were a team again, facing the world together. But the moment passed, and reality set back in.
"Goodnight, Harry," she said, stepping back.
"Goodnight, Y/N," he replied, turning to leave. As he walked to his car, he couldn't help but glance back one last time. She stood in the doorway, watching him, and he wondered if maybe, just maybe, there was still a chance for them.
Driving away, Harry resolved to keep trying. He wasn't ready to give up on her, on their family. He'd keep coming to these dinners, keep being there for the kids, and keep loving her from afar. Because sometimes, love was about persistence, about holding on even when everything seemed lost.
***
A few weeks had passed since that family dinner, and Harry had found himself thinking about Y/N more often than usual. He was determined to win her back, no matter how long it took. The family dinners had become a regular reminder of what they once had, and each time he left her house, he felt a renewed sense of purpose. He knew it wasn't going to be easy, but he was willing to fight for the woman he loved.
One evening, as he was about to head out for their weekly dinner, his phone buzzed with a message from Y/N.
Y/N: Hey, can you come over a bit earlier for dinner tonight? Blair has been asking about you all day.
Harry smiled at his phone, feeling a warmth spread through his chest. He quickly typed back a response.
Harry: Of course. I'll be there in an hour. Kiss the kids for me
He grabbed his keys and headed out, a sense of excitement bubbling up inside him. It wasn't just about seeing the kids; it was about seeing Y/N. Every moment with her was precious, even if it was just for a short while.
When he arrived at Y/N's house, she greeted him at the door with a warm smile. "Hey, come on in. Blair is in the living room, and Rosa is finishing up her nap."
Harry stepped inside, shaking off the rain from his coat. "Thanks for inviting me early."
"Of course," she said, leading him to the living room. "Blair has been looking forward to seeing you."
As soon as Blair saw Harry, her face lit up. "Daddy!" She shouted, running into his arms.
"Hey, bee!" Harry lifted her up, spinning her around before setting her down. "How's my big girl doing?"
Blair giggled, clinging to Harry's leg. "Good! We made cookies today!"
Y/N smiled, watching them. "Yes, we did. And they're cooling in the kitchen if you want to try one."
"I'd love to," Harry said, following Y/N to the kitchen with Blair still attached to his leg.
In the kitchen, the smell of freshly baked cookies filled the air. Harry couldn't help but feel a pang of nostalgia. This used to be their life, their home filled with the simple joys of family. Harry remembers standing in that very kitchen, late at night, answering Y/N's pregnancy cravings so many times he's lost count. They used to joke that Blair inherited a sweet tooth because all Y/N wanted during her pregnancy were the homemade cookies Harry used to bake.
"They smell amazing," Harry said, reaching for a cookie. He took a bite and closed his eyes, savouring the taste. "These are perfect."
Y/N laughed softly. "Glad you like them."
As they stood there, enjoying the cookies and each other's company, Harry felt a sudden impulse to speak up. He wanted to tell her how much he missed her, how much he wanted them to be a family again. But before he could find the words, Amelia's cries echoed from the nursery.
"I'll get her," Y/N said, giving Harry an apologetic look.
"No, let me," Harry offered, already heading towards the nursery.
Y/N hesitated for a moment before nodding. "Okay, thanks."
Harry walked into the nursery, his heart swelling at the sight of his baby girl. Rosa’s big, tear-filled eyes met his, and she instantly stopped crying, reaching out for him. He scooped her up, holding her close. "Hey there, princess. Daddy's here."
Rosa nestled into his shoulder, her tiny fingers clutching his shirt. Harry rocked her gently, humming a lullaby. Moments like these reminded him of the preciousness of family and how much he wanted to be there for every little moment.
When he returned to the living room with Rosa in his arms, he found Blair playing with a puzzle on the floor. “Where’s your mum love?” He asked, setting Rosa down onto the carpet.
“In the kitchen” Blair replied, reaching for another piece of her puzzle.
“Keep an eye on your sister, bee. I’ll be right back” Harry requested as he began making his way to the kitchen. Y/n was stood by the stove, checking on the stir fry she was making.
"Do you need any help?" he offered, standing in the doorway of the kitchen.
Y/N glanced at him, her expression softening. "Sure, you can dry the dishes. The cookies made a right mess" she chuckled softly making Harry smile as he walked over to the dishes.
They worked in companionable silence, the sizzling of the stir fry and clinking of the dishes being the only sounds filling the room. Harry stole a few glances at Y/N, her profile bathed in the soft glow of the setting sun. She looked serene, but he could see the faint lines of worry etched on her face, lines he knew were partly his doing.
As he dried the last dish, Harry finally spoke. "Y/N, there's something I need to tell you."
Y/N looked up, meeting his gaze. "What is it, Harry?"
He took a deep breath, his heart pounding in his chest. "I know I've made mistakes. Big ones. And I know I hurt you. But these past months, spending time with you and the kids, it's reminded me of how much I still love you."
Y/N's eyes widened, surprise and confusion flickering across her face. "Harry, I..."
"Please, just hear me out," he interrupted, his voice earnest. "I know I can't change the past, but I want to make things right. I want us to be a family again. Not just for the kids, but for us. Because I love you, Y/N. I never stopped loving you."
Tears welled up in Y/N's eyes as she listened to his words. She had built walls around her heart to protect herself from the pain, but now those walls were crumbling. She had missed him too—their shared moments, the way he made her feel safe and loved.
"I don't know, Harry," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. "I need time to think."
Harry nodded, understanding the gravity of her words. "Take all the time you need. I'll wait for you, Y/N. No matter how long it takes."
***
One evening, as the sun dipped below the horizon, casting a golden glow over the world, Y/N found herself standing outside Harry's house. Her heart raced as she rang the doorbell, her mind swirling with thoughts and emotions.
When Harry opened the door, his eyes widened in surprise and hope. "Y/N, what are you doing here?"
She took a deep breath, her heart pounding in her chest. "I've been doing a lot of thinking, Harry. And I've realised something important."
Harry's expression was a mixture of hope and fear. "What is it?"
"I realised that I never stopped loving you either," she confessed, her voice shaking. "We have a lot of things to work through, and it's not going to be easy. But I want to try. I want us to be a family again."
A slow, relieved smile spread across Harry's face as he stepped forward, pulling her into a tight embrace. "You have no idea how happy that makes me, Y/N. I promise I'll do everything I can to make things right."
Tears of joy streamed down Y/N's face as she held onto him, feeling the warmth and comfort of his embrace. For the first time in a long while, she felt a glimmer of hope for the future.

Hey there! Thank you so much for submitting a request! I wasn't sure if you wanted NSFW or not, but I couldn't help myself soooo there's a little smut. Enjoy!

The Ferris wheel creaked softly as it started its ascent, each wheel turning with a rhythmic groan. You leaned back in the seat, arms crossed over your chest, and huffed dramatically, just to make sure Jason knew how bored you were.
“You know, I thought this was supposed to be fun,” you said, eyes lazily scanning the lit-up skyline. “But honestly? Kinda overrated.”
Jason, sitting across from you, glanced up at the dark sky, his arms casually draped over the edge of the seat. His expression was unreadable, but you could see the corner of his mouth twitch. He was playing it cool, but you knew better.
“Yeah, well, you’re the one who wanted to come up here,” Jason shot back, his tone dry. “I’m just along for the ride.”
You rolled your eyes, tapping your foot against the metal floor. The world below was full of lights and noise, but up here, everything felt distant, separated from the chaos you both usually navigated. It should’ve felt peaceful, but somehow, the stillness only made you more restless.
“Whatever,” you muttered, leaning over the side and staring down at the carnival below. The lights blurred into a mix of red, yellow, and blue, as if the whole world had been dipped in neon paint. “I bet you think this is romantic, huh? Sitting up here with the city all lit up, stars above...”
Jason snorted, his gaze flicking to you. “Yeah, sure. Totally. Nothing says romance like a Ferris wheel in the middle of Gotham.”
The Ferris wheel groaned as it reached its peak, the sound of the metal grinding against itself almost drowning out the noise of the carnival below. You shifted uncomfortably in the seat, feeling the wind tug at your jacket, and stared at the twinkling city lights spread out beneath you. It wasn’t exactly how you imagined Gotham to look when you’d heard it called “beautiful” — more like a maze of lights and shadows, a skyline of contradictions.
And yet, it was hard to ignore the way your heart fluttered when Jason’s voice broke through the silence.
“You know, I’ve never really understood why people think this is romantic,” he said, his tone low, but still carrying that edge of sarcasm you were so used to. He was leaning back in the seat now, his arms resting casually on the bars, eyes half-lidded. There was something almost dangerous about how comfortable he looked, even up here.
“Yeah, ‘cause Gotham is known for being the city of love,” you shot back, unable to stop yourself from sounding like a smartass. “Maybe we should take a nice stroll through Crime Alley after this, too. You know, for that perfect date night vibe.”
Jason’s gaze flicked to you then—eyes narrowing ever so slightly, but not in anger. More like a challenge. His lips quirked, a subtle smirk tugging at the corner of his mouth. “You really are something else, you know that? Always gotta keep pushing, don’t you?”
You didn’t look away from him. “Someone’s got to keep you in check.”
His smirk deepened. “That so?” he asked, leaning forward slightly, and for a brief moment, it felt like the space between you closed by inches. “And you think you’re the one to do it?”
The air around you felt heavier, charged. His gaze was intense—daring, almost predatory in the way it swept over you, taking in every subtle shift of your posture. You shifted in your seat, your breath hitching ever so slightly, but you didn’t let it show. You weren’t going to give him the satisfaction of getting inside your head.
“Maybe I just like seeing how easy it is to get under your skin,” you replied with a raised eyebrow, crossing your arms tighter over your chest. The words came out sharper than you meant them to, but you weren’t backing down.
Jason’s lips quirked at the corners, like he knew exactly what you were doing. “I think you’re just a brat who likes to act like she doesn’t care.”
Your stomach tightened at that, a flicker of something dangerous lighting up your insides. He gets under my skin too easily.
"I care," you said, a little more sharply than intended. “Just not about this.” You motioned vaguely to the carnival below, and to the cage you both were stuck in.
He didn’t miss a beat. His eyes locked onto you, a flicker of something darker, something almost predatory. “Oh, I know you care,” he said, voice lowering, the words like a promise. “But you’re too busy trying to hide it.”
You sucked in a breath, but didn’t let yourself react. You were used to Jason’s games. He liked to push, liked to get people riled up, and you were no different. But there was something in the air now that made it feel like this was different. Like this wasn’t just a casual conversation anymore.
You leaned forward, your gaze narrowing on him. “You don’t know anything about me,” you said, your tone half daring him to keep pushing, half inviting him to.
Jason shifted slightly in his seat, leaning forward just enough to close some of the distance between you. The way his eyes trailed down to your lips, then back to your eyes, sent a spark of heat straight through you, and for a second, you forgot to breathe.
“Don’t I?” he asked, voice like velvet and smoke, low and dangerous. “I think I know exactly how you work. You like the fight. You like being challenged.” He glanced at your crossed arms. “But deep down, you like when someone can actually push back. Don’t you?”
You swallowed hard, heart pounding in your chest. You were doing everything you could not to let him see the effect he was having on you. But he could see it, of course. Jason always saw through people, always felt the shift in the air, in the way you moved, the way you breathed.
“You talk a big game for someone so sure of himself,” you muttered, even as you tried to keep your voice steady.
He leaned a little closer, his presence filling the small space between you both. You could feel the heat of his body, the subtle tension in the air, like something was about to snap. His hand brushed against the side of the seat near yours, just enough that you could feel the press of his fingers against the metal.
Your eyes locked on his hand, then slowly dragged up to his face. His expression was unreadable, but there was something dark simmering behind his eyes. Something raw, something almost dangerous.
“You’re right,” Jason said quietly. “I’m not just sure of myself. I’m sure of you, too.”
Your pulse raced. “What the hell does that mean?” you asked, a breathless edge creeping into your voice, even though you tried to keep it steady.
Jason’s smirk was slow, deliberate, and damn near smug. “It means I know exactly how much you’re trying not to care. But you do. You care, and you want me to keep pushing.”
The words hit you harder than you wanted to admit. A rush of heat flooded your chest and neck, but you kept your guard up, even as every part of you seemed to want to shatter. “Keep talking, Todd. You’re really good at this... but I’m not impressed.”
His gaze sharpened, and then his lips curved into something darker, something almost predatory. “No? You sure? I think you’re impressed. You’re just too stubborn to admit it.”
You felt the urge to say something, anything, to put him back in his place. But your words caught in your throat when Jason moved just a little closer, leaning in just enough that the scent of him—leather, something dark and masculine—flooded your senses. You could feel the heat radiating from him, could practically hear the beat of his heart.
Your breath hitched. You told yourself it was because of the height, because the ride had just crested and the wind was messing with you. But you knew that wasn’t it. The way Jason was looking at you, so sure, so intense—he made you feel like you were both caught in a storm.
“Don’t,” you warned, voice trembling just enough to give him an opening. “Don’t make this about—”
Jason’s eyes darkened, cutting you off with a single, sharp movement. He leaned even closer, his voice low, almost a whisper. “Make it about what, exactly? You?” He chuckled softly. “You can act like you don’t care all you want. But I can see it in your eyes. You like this.”
You didn’t trust yourself to speak, not when your heart was racing, not when your body was so aware of his every movement. The air between you felt suffocating now, heavy with tension, charged with something too tempting to ignore.
Jason cut you off with a quick grab to your chin, pulling your lips to crash into his. He claimed your mouth, using his tongue to claim all over you. You fought him back, fighting for dominance. Yet he was stronger, and well, you wanted to lose.
He was, of course, right too. You could deny the dynamic between your friendship was palpable with sexual tension. The two of you always bantered back and forth, but it never ended up like this.
You whined and moaned into his mouth, as he took one of his large hands and quickly unbuttoned your jeans. You gasped when he did this, watching his large, calloused hands take control of you in the small cage, hundreds of feet in the air. Without warning, he picked you up on his lap, and began to abuse your cunt with his fingers. He pumped your hole as he used his other hand to pinch your nipples over your shirt.
You whined and moaned, the sounds of the carnival drowning you moans out, yet the knowledge of him taking you like this publicly had you drenched.
“Oh so this is what it was about. Sweet thing just needed something good to get her to act right?” Jason teased, continuing to scissor your insides with his fingers. He grabbed the side of your face making sure you could look at his smug smile, juxtaposed with your sweaty mess of a face, bliss your only expression.
You sneered a bit at his words, babbling over yourself as he hit your g-spot, legs starting to shake. “F-fuck..you,” you spat back. You doubled over, his arm going to wrap around your waist to hold you up as you began to shake. “Holy shit Im gonna–”
“Cum?” He remarked, cutting you off. He let out a low chuckle, quickly ripping his hands out of you. You gasped as the sudden loss of friction, clenching around the air as your pussy craved more, especially after being denied an orgasm. “Yeah after the way you talked to me, you don't get to do that right now.
He picked you back up off his lap and sat you down next to him, zipping and buttoning your jeans back up for you. He smiled at your shocked and angered expression, chuckling at you.
You groaned, pushing his hands off of you as you crossed your arms. How had he taken control of you like that? How did you let him? And why did you love it?
He smiled at your shocked and angered expression, chuckling at you. "You look like you're about to set the world on fire," he teased, his voice light, almost playful.
You narrowed your eyes at him, trying to ignore the heat rising in your chest. "Don't laugh," you snapped, your voice a little shaky despite your attempt to sound firm. "You don't get to do that and then just... laugh."
He raised an eyebrow, still grinning, clearly enjoying the reaction he was getting. "Oh, I can do whatever I want," he said, his tone teasing but with a hint of something else, something that made you second-guess your own frustration. "You didn't exactly stop me. You especially seemed to be enjoying it." He teased at the end, throwing you a sultry look, a sly grin on his face.
You turned your face away, crossing your arms tightly over your chest. "That’s not the point, and you know it," you muttered, but there was an undeniable pull in his gaze as he watched you, like he was waiting for you to say more.
Jason’s chuckle was dark, low, and there was something about it that made the hairs on the back of your neck stand on end. His tone dipped into something more like amusement and challenge than anything else. “But it’s cute that you pretend like you’re the one in control.”
His words felt like a slow burn, and you didn’t like it. Not one bit.
You shifted uncomfortably again, not knowing if you should laugh or punch him for acting like he knew you so well, but all you could do was shoot him a glare that you hoped conveyed something.
Jason seemed to take pleasure in watching you try to regain your composure, his eyes never leaving your face. The tension was thick now, like the quiet before a storm. Neither of you spoke for a few moments, the Ferris wheel creaking as it slowly started to descend.
But then Jason broke the silence, his voice softer this time, but still filled with that same undercurrent of challenge.
“You’re not as tough as you act,” he said, his gaze catching yours again, this time more intense, more pointed. “You know that, right?”
Your stomach flipped, and you hated how vulnerable that statement made you feel. But you weren't about to let him see it. Not now.
“Maybe I am,” you shot back, your jaw tight. “Maybe you’re just too used to everyone rolling over for you.” He had just had you shaking on top of him, on the brink of an orgasm, and here you were acting as if nothing happened.
Jason laughed then, that deep, dangerous sound that seemed to vibrate in the air. “You’re a real piece of work, you know that?” he said, his voice tinged with something you couldn’t quite place. It wasn’t just amusement anymore—it was something darker, something that made the tension between you both almost tangible.
And you hated how much you wanted him to say more.
The Ferris wheel reached the bottom, and you both snapped back to reality, the ground rushing up beneath you. The moment was over, but the air between you still felt electric, the crackling tension thick enough that neither of you had the nerve to say anything as you got off the ride. You could still feel your panties sticking to you, your earlier wetness reminding you of how horny you were. And thinking of what he did to you, with all these people around, made you even hornier.
As you stepped off the platform, Jason’s voice followed you, low and just for you. “You’re lucky I like you, brat.”
You barely had time to turn and shoot him a look before he disappeared into the crowd, leaving you standing there, heart pounding in your chest and a smile playing on your lips.

For one night, one night alone you were going to put all of your suspicions and past hurt aside and enjoy the party. After all, it was your birthday so the night was supposed to be all about you.
Shooting a smile at your boyfriend across the room you can't help but feel your stomach flutter as he shoots you a wink and begins making his way through the crowd towards you. Stopping in front of you he sweeps forward in an exaggerated bow, extending his arm.
“Madam Birthday Girl, will you do me the honor of dancing with me?”
Laughing at his antics, you relax, reassured by his usual behavior. Of course everything was normal between the two of you. You were just being paranoid. Placing your hand in his, you allowed him to escort you onto the dance floor.
I take your hand and lead you to the dance floor
Wrapping your arms around his neck and swaying slowly to the music you rested your face against his chest and enjoyed the peace of the moment. Or, at least you tried to.
As soon as your nose brushed his blue button up your senses were invaded with some sort of expensive oriental perfume, meant to be subtle with rose and jasmine. But judging from the way your nose burned, whoever had been wearing it must have been wearing a whole bottle for the residual left on his clothes to be so strong. Nothing like the one or two spritzes of understated wildflower perfumes you preferred.
Fighting the urge to gag at the overpowering scent, you looked up over his shoulder in an attempt to get some fresh air. Instead you were confronted by lipstick stains on the edge of his collar. Bright pink lipstick stains, which couldn’t possibly be yours, because you would never wear a color that garish.
Suddenly you no longer felt like dancing, and as the song’s outro played you decided to give him one more chance to explain himself after the party. If he couldn’t do that, then the two of you were done. Looking up into his eyes you gave him a forced smile, a small part of you screaming that this was going to be the last time the two of you danced like this.
As the music dies, something in your eyes
Calls to mind a silver screen
And all its sad good-byes
After the song ended Gojo watched you walk away, unsettled by the finality in your eyes. Had you figured it out? Did you know where he had been before the party? Who was he kidding of course you had. As much as the two of you had danced around the obvious truth for months he knew that you knew. He had fallen in love with your quick wits and intelligence. There was no way you hadn’t put two and two together.
But despite forgotten dates, the nights he came home late or not at all, the perfume that wasn’t yours clinging to his skin, he dared to hope that you would just keep pretending not to know. That things could stay the way they were. If only you weren’t so smart.
Though it's easy to pretend
I know you're not a fool
Walking across the room you mingled with the guests, accepting birthday wishes and engaging in small talk. Heading over to the bar, you got a refill on your drink and leaned against the bar sipping it. You heaved a sigh, wishing the entire thing was over and that you could just go home. A large warm hand placed on your shoulder interrupted your stewing, causing you to turn around.
“Oh! Geto! Hi! I wasn’t expecting you to come. How are you?” You were surprised to see none other than your boyfriend’s best friend, Geto Suguru. The large man chuckled, rubbing the back of his neck sheepishly at your surprise.
“Sorry, I was in the area and decided to drop by. I’m doing okay, but actually I’m here to ask you that. I’m really sorry about what Satoru did. It was fucked up. How are you doing with the breakup? I may be his best friend but just know that I’m always here for you-”
“Wait, what? The breakup?” You were confused. You hadn’t even told your best friends about your plans to confront Satoru, seeing as you had only made up your mind a few minutes ago. “What are you talking about?”
“What do you mean ‘what do you mean?’ We had a conversation and Satoru promised me-” Realization lit up in his dark eyes. “He didn’t do it, did he? Oh that son of a-” He stops, looking at you guiltily.
“Listen, I’m really sorry. You should hear it from him. I gotta go now.” With that, he turned and walked away, leaving you with a sinking feeling in your gut.
From across the room, Gojo watched his friend leave, knowing that whatever had just happened between the two of you could not not have been good. Not wanting to obsess over what Suguru could have said, he turned away and jumped into a conversation. Whatever was said had been said already. There was nothing he could do about it at the moment.
Time can never mend
The careless whispers of a good friend
If he had watched a few seconds longer he would have seen you shake yourself then chase after his friend, looking for answers. Darting around guests and avoiding dancing couples you caught up to Geto just outside of the building.
“Wait!” You yelled, hurrying to catch up with him. “You can’t just leave like that! I need to know what you mean.”
Not turning, Geto shook his head. “Trust me on this one. You don’t want to know. Let him tell you. I’ll make sure he does, but you shouldn’t hear this from me.”
“I’m pretty sure I already know.” The words fly out of your mouth before you could stop them. “He’s cheating on me, right? Listen, I need to know. I’m probably going to break up with him tonight. So it doesn’t matter anyways. Just tell me.”
Rubbing his face with one hand he sighed and chuckled without humor. “Of course you know. Jesus this whole situation is so fucked up.” He turned around and looked at you properly.
“Let’s go find somewhere to sit. This might take a little while.”
To the heart and mind
Ignorance is kind
Geto had left a couple of minutes ago, leaving you sitting on a sidewalk bench organizing your thoughts. Fighting the urge to cry, you were unsure why the pain in your chest was so sharp. You had been almost positive, he was cheating on you, so why did it hurt so bad to have your suspicions confirmed? It wasn’t like the knowledge was anything new to you.
Maybe it was because you now knew that the woman was the daughter of a wealthy family close to the Gojos. Maybe it was because you knew that it had been going on for months, and when Geto found out he had made Satoru promise to either end things with the other girl or break up with you. Maybe it was knowing that after making that promise Geto had found him with the other woman again, leading him to assume Satoru had broken up with you.
Whatever it was, it fucking hurt. Letting out a small sob, you clutched your chest feeling your heart break. Unable to stop the tears from spilling over your waterline you opened your phone and texted him that you knew before you could back out.
But as you wiped your face and headed back to the party because you would be damned if you let him ruin your night, a small part of you wished you hadn’t discovered the truth.
There's no comfort in the truth
Pain is all you'll find
After receiving your text, Satoru watched the entrance intensely, waiting for you to return. The second you step through the door he locks eyes with you, gesturing towards the outside, mouthing that he wanted to talk.
Instead of turning around and walking back outside so the two of you could talk like he had expected, you just strolled into the party and joined a group of your friends. Whipping out his phone, he tried to send you a text, only to discover that he had been blocked.
Then the panic set in as he started trying to make his way towards you. But at that moment a popular song came on over the speakers, and the crowd became rowdy, making it impossible for him to get to you. It was like the crowd was against him, pushing him back towards the edge of the dance floor instead of across it to where you were.
Didn’t they understand that he needed to get to you? That he need to explain himself? He wishes the crowd would just disappear. That it was just you and him, with nothing else in the way.
Tonight the music seems so loud
I wish that we could lose this crowd
As he continues to scan the crowd for you, he finally catches sight of you dancing with your friends, laughing and singing along to the song. Shouting your name, he waves frantically, but the venom in your eyes when they meet his make his voice die out.
Maybe it was for the better that the two of you didn’t talk right then. You didn’t seem like you were in a place where you would be able to talk reasonably. Turning, he decided to head out for the night and give you the space you so clearly needed. He would just talk to you tomorrow.
Maybe it's better this way
We'd hurt each other with the things we'd want to say
The next day when he went to your place to talk, Satoru was greeted by a box of all of his things sitting outside of your apartment and a post-it note declaring that the two of you were over. And despite all of his screaming and pleading and banging on the door, you didn’t come out that day. Or the next. Or the one after that.
Now it’s been months, and he’s given up on winning you back. It’s clear you have no interest in hearing him out. And in those three months he had come to realize just how much you had meant to him. You were his better half, the one he truly loved. The other woman he had cheated on you with couldn’t hold a candle to you.
If only he hadn’t been such an idiot. Maybe if he hadn’t been so conceited and cocky he would have seen the value in what the two of you shared and the two of you would still be together. Maybe the two of you would have spent the rest of your lives in happiness together. But that’s not what happened, and now he was all alone.
We could have lived this dance forever
But now, who's gonna dance with me?
Years had passed, and he was still alone. At first he had tried dating to get over you, but after realizing that the first girl had a similar smile to you, the second had the same shade eyes as you, the third your hair color, he stopped.
It didn’t matter how hard he subconsciously tried to find girls to replace you. None of them were ever going to be you. And the guilt he harbored over the way he treated you would follow him into the grave. He lost the best thing that ever happened to him. There was no recovering from that.
And I'm never gonna dance again
Guilty feet have got no rhythm

IT'S BEEN SO LONG
-PART TWO
pairing: Lucifer Morningstar x Adopted! Fem angel! Reader [platonic!]
fandom: Hazbin Hotel
genre: fluff and cute
notes: will be making a male version of this. Someone please remind me.
PART ONE | PART THREE | NAVIGATION
THIS TAKES PLACE TWO WEEKS BEFORE THE PART ONE TIMELINE
Lucifer smiles as he watches his daughter interact with the new guests of the hotel, after the recent extermination, sinners began to slowly get interested with the hotel and wanted to give redemption a shot. Though, he can't exactly say that business is booming as the hotel only gained three new guests—a sibling of three, an older sister, a middle child brother, and their little sister.
They thought the hotel could help them and decided to join, in which Charlie, his daughter welcomed them with open arms.
Currently, he's sitting by the bar while Husk prepares his drink. Lucifer watches the interaction between the youngest new guest and his daughter. Charlie holding the small girl in her arms as she raised her up in the air, the small child giggling in glee. The scene evoking an almost forgotten memory of Lucifer.
“Charlie, Charlie! Uppies again! Please!” the girl giggles and Charlie nodded and raised the smaller girl up, making the child laugh.
The scene almost made Lucifer cry, as a memory flashed in his mind—a certain angel that he sees as a daughter despite not being related to him. [Y/n], his adopted daughter. The first girl he raised, he remembers an almost exact scene as this—the memory where he was still in heaven with her, gently throwing her up in the air and her little angel wings fluttering behind her as she falls back into his arms. Heck, he even remembers that the girl accidentally hit his face with a blast of snow.
Husk raises an eyebrow as he notices the king of hell had such a somber expression on his face, Lucifer didn't even react when he placed down the drink he made for him and just opted to play with glass as he was in deep thought.
The feline raises an eyebrow, turning around to continue wiping a freshly cleaned glass, “Penny for your thoughts?” he grumbles, breaking Lucifer's trail of thoughts.
“Just thinking about something. No need to worry.” Lucifer says softly and Husk huffs but decided not to press any further.
Lucifer went back to thinking again, wondering how his daughter is. After he got cast out of heaven, he never saw her again. He never prayed for the sake of himself nor his family as dare he says it would be offensive as his wife and daughter are demons but he prays that his angelic daughter is taken care of.
Even though kneeling down and praying to his father shatters his pride a little bit but he begs, he begs that [y/n] is well taken care of.
He missed her so much. He's guilty for not being there for her, for not being able to see her grow. How is she? Did she grow up to be a fine young woman? Did she become powerful? Does she remember him? Does she miss him like he misses her? He'll never know.
His memory of her getting worse and worse each day, bit by bit her features become blurry in his mind. He tried painting her once but dear God, he's not a painter. He's more of a singer and musician. He threw away the painting, his skills can't do his daughter justice. A shame he doesn't have any pictures of her.
A somber expression returns to his face, Charlie turns to look at her father who had such a sullen expression on his face. The girl gently let's down the child she was holding, ushering them to go play with Vaggie as she was worried about what had gotten her father down in the dumps.
She then walks towards the bar, takes a seat next to her dad. Husk immediately prepares her usual drink—a glass of wine.
“Is there something wrong, dad?” she asked softly and Lucifer chuckles, taking a sip of his drink—a white Russian cocktail.
“Did I ever tell you that you have an older sister?” He began and Charlie's jaw dropped, Husk stopped midway in making Charlie's drink.
Lucifer chuckles at their reactions, “Yes, you have an older sister... Well, adopted older sister rather.” he says with a lazy smile, nostalgia present in his eyes. For a brief moment, the background noise of the hotel blurs.
Charlie's eyes sparkled, “Wait, really?!” she asked excitedly and Lucifer smiled and ruffled her hair.
“Yes, back in heaven. Older angels were tasked to watch over the newly created angels and that's where I took an angel named [y/n] under my wings,” he explained, taking a deep breath as Charlie nodded intently, Husk giving her the wine glass filled with her drink. Lucifer looks at Charlie again, a somber smile on his face, “She's like a daughter to me and I was like a father to her, she always calls me dad.” he explains, his hand twirling the half empty glass cup, swirling the alcoholic drink around.
Charlie nodded, opting to listen to him and ask questions later, “We used to play everyday, I always spend time with her... Teaching her how to fly and how to use her powers.” he chuckles, his finger wiping away a stray tear from his eye.
“I think she grew up to be a powerful angel, after all, she manifested her powers at such an early age. I think she's a prodigy,” he smiles, his dull eyes sparkling as he mentions her, is what Charlie noticed and she just smiled at him, taking a small sip of her wine.
Lucifer took a sip of his own drink, tasting the vodka, coffee liqueur, and cream mixed together before gently placing down the cup back to the counter, “She actually shot my face with a blast of snow accidentally while trying to make a snowflake.” he says.
Charlie laughs at the story, imagining it, Lucifer smiles and he became sad again, thinking the what if's, what if heaven didn't curse him so bad and allowed him to see her or allow her to see him? What if [y/n] grew alongside Charlie? Would she have been a good older sister to Charlie?
“She sounds amazing, dad.” Charlie whispered to him with a smile and Lucifer nodded, “She is.” he agrees.
Charlie's eyes softened as she held her father's hand, “When was the last time you saw her? If you don't mind me asking?” she asked and Lucifer sighed, remembering [y/n]'s tear streamed chubby cheeks as she watched him fall from heaven, his twin brother, Michael holding onto the girl.
“When I fell from grace.” he whispered and Charlie's eyes saddened and she gave a reassuring squeeze to Lucifer's hand. She imagined how painful it must be for him and for her older sister. She wishes she'd gotten a chance to meet her.
“I am sure you two will meet again one day.” Charlie says with a small smile and Lucifer nodded, giving her a small smile in return. “I hope so, Charlie. You're going to love her.” he says, confidently.
“I think I already do, dad. She sounds amazing.” Charlie said with a grin and Lucifer chuckled, “You two will get along just fine when that time comes.”

Flutter Bottom Navigation Bar with Nested Routes: GoRouter vs. Beamer Comparison
If the developer is working on Flutter app development, then he knows the usage of the bottom navigation bar with a nested router and beamer comparison. Of course, it should handle depending on the thumb zone and explore easily to reach well with tabs following the same pattern. The bottom navigation bar with tabs should be implemented based on the UX patterns on mobile view.
Implementation of nested navigation must be based on the combination of stack, navigator, and offstage widgets. It must be flexible in using a navigation bar with distinct navigators. They will arrange the best result and capture the previous solution to follow only limitations. It will be built with a navigator and supportive for deep linking and navigation by URL.
GoRouter vs. Beamer
The new router has to be set out with navigational and additional use cases. It has been developed with Flutter packages such as GoRouter and Beamer. It provides simple and powerful to obtain APIs to meet the needs of Flutter apps. It will work by crossing with distinct platforms.
On the other hand, the implementation of GoRouter and Beamer should be a fair comparison, and packages should be noticed. They carry about simple things to explore and navigate based on the purpose of the ShellRouter class. The purpose is to understand the navigation completely and thus choose based on the nested results with additional use cases.
It is completely a well-made one with limitations with current GoRouter APIs. With the proposed solution, it should be a necessary one and use an app using Beamer full source code with the same proposed limitations. They will notice based on the limitations and discover logic to better handle distinct navigation patterns for screen sizes.
Fully responsive apps should be complex enough to work with different navigation patterns. They will develop bottom navigation on mobile and side navigation with wide screens. It should be vital and explore navigation scenarios in the future. It will update well and tackle more complex results with the bottom navigation on the mobile option.
Also, Read This Post:
Nested Navigation Requirements
It should be divided into the code, look into the Shell Route and define the results by properly addressing needs. It takes into the code and validates based on the state of routes in implementing GoRouter options.
It should be preserved with the corresponding index stack widget in Flutter. It considers the ShellRoute API for focusing on the 5.0 version for navigation stacks.
Users keep the progress easier.
GoRouter Implementation Works With ShellRoute
A route should be taken with the proper outcome and handled based on the shell around the UI definition. It takes a full pledge solution and matches the results with a proper outcome. It will handle everything based on the routes and new navigator options with matching on sub-routes for placing the root navigation for the beamer nested option.
How Does This Work in Practice?
The cover screen in the navigation bar must be taken into GoRouter with the main thing. It considers screen control needs. They consider necessary roles and manage them based on the sub-routes inside the UI shell. The shell Navigator key should be operating with a guarantee on GoRouter options.
The process must be prevented based on the switching tabs and considers Root Screen and details screen with a scaffold widget and a regular appbar. It considers a vital thing to exhibit based on the behavior of popular iOS apps.
The Application Shell: ScaffoldWithBottomNavBar
Of course, arguments should be made with ShellRoute by focusing on the child argument. It can pass to the scaffold with the bottom nav bar with the Flutter widget. Child. They control well and are mainly applicable for noticing changes in the builder argument.
But What Does this Widget Represent?
The ShellRouter should be noticed with sub-routes and explore a return factor with Root Screen. It should start with the current subroute and mainly initiate the route on the Detail screen. The options are always better and notice with a bottom navigation bar.
Defining the Tabs
To complete with coding, the bottom navigation bar item must be capable of additional initial chances. They are in a proper control method and explore the GoRouter location.
They capture a lot and are mainly applicable for working on details with resolving the index. It must get into the index and solutions based on the GoRouter with the initial location of the tab. It will identify with the selected index by working on the current tab location to an additional initial location.
Navigation flow in Flutter should be controlled well and mainly adaptive on the chosen tab. It must capture a lot and get into GoRouter by remembering the opened subroute. It should achieve supportive options and notice them with planned versions for the corresponding PR.
They initially work with navigation and preferences based on the previous sub router to initiate the coding. We need proper support and nested with a subroute with a separate ShellRoute option for good navigation.
There are possible ways to explore the shell route and unique navigations. It will assign keeping track of pages with each tab. They consider the vital role and go to the current location with the selected tab. So, it must be adaptive on pages inside each tab on the GoRouter option.
Also, Read This Post:
Beamer Implementation
Before noticing the beamer packages, it should start with the basics. Acquiring the foremost options with the package is necessary. It will introduce beam location subclasses.
Adding the BeamLocation Subclasses
GoRouter should take a full pledge option and exhibit based on the single instance. It considers a vital role and mainly applies to more beam location subclasses. The corporation with documentation represents the stack of one page and three important things. They carry about a new way to explore the entire route with hierarchy for a single Gorouter instance.
Example
import 'package:flutter/material.dart'; import 'package:go_router/go_router.dart'; void main() { runApp(const MyApp()); } final _rootNavigatorKey = GlobalKey<navigatorstate>(); final _shellNavigatorKey = GlobalKey<navigatorstate>(); final router = GoRouter( navigatorKey: _rootNavigatorKey, initialLocation: '/home', routes: [ ShellRoute( navigatorKey: _shellNavigatorKey, builder: (context, state, child) { return AppScaffold(child: child); }, routes: <routebase>[ GoRoute( path: '/home', builder: (BuildContext context, GoRouterState state) { return const Center(child: Text('Home')); }, ), GoRoute( path: '/search', builder: (BuildContext context, GoRouterState state) { return const Center(child: Text('Search')); }, ), GoRoute( path: '/account', builder: (BuildContext context, GoRouterState state) { return const Center(child: Text('Account')); }, ), ], ), ], ); class MyApp extends StatelessWidget { const MyApp({super.key}); @override Widget build(BuildContext context) { return MaterialApp.router( routerConfig: router, ); } } class AppScaffold extends StatefulWidget { const AppScaffold({Key? key, required this.child}) : super(key: key); final Widget child; @override State<appscaffold> createState() => _AppScaffoldState(); } class _AppScaffoldState extends State<appscaffold> { @override Widget build(BuildContext context) { return Scaffold( appBar: AppBar(title: const Text('Demo App')), body: widget.child, bottomNavigationBar: BottomNavigationBar( currentIndex: _calculateSelectedIndex(context), onTap: onTap, items: const [ BottomNavigationBarItem(icon: Icon(Icons.home), label: 'Home'), BottomNavigationBarItem(icon: Icon(Icons.search), label: 'Search'), BottomNavigationBarItem( icon: Icon(Icons.account_box), label: 'Account'), ], ), ); } int _calculateSelectedIndex(BuildContext context) { final GoRouter route = GoRouter.of(context); final String location = route.location; if (location.startsWith('/home')) { return 0; } if (location.startsWith('/search')) { return 1; } if (location.startsWith('/account')) { return 2; } return 0; } void onTap(int value) { switch (value) { case 0: return context.go('/home'); case 1: return context.go('/search'); case 2: return context.go('/account'); default: return context.go('/home'); } } } </appscaffold></appscaffold></routebase></navigatorstate></navigatorstate>

Conclusion
This article has given the idea of Flutter Bottom Navigation Bar app development. However, this function will make the various Flutter functions, and the combination of various classes and components will bring out the best in your application. Also, you have to learn the navigation bar with the Nested Routes and Beamer class. In that case, you can get in touch with the best Flutter application development company and hire Flutter devs that give you support and maintenance to your projects and make the application that runs seamlessly with hard work and expertise.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
1. What is OnGnerateRoute in Flutter development?
The route generator callback is used when an application is navigated to the named route. If it returns null while creating a route, it will handle the specified initialRoute, and all routes are discarded and navigated to the app development.
2. How do you create the persistent bottom navigation bar in Flutter?
To persist a bottom navigation bar, make use of the Stack widget. Add all the pages as children of the stack with an order of bottom tabs and view only one child at a time concerning the currently selected bottom tab.
3. How do you make the bottom navigation bar rounded corners in Flutter?
Inside the Scaffold, set the extendBody Property to true. It lets the body extend to the Scaffold’s bottom, rather than extending to the top of the bottomNavigationBar. It will aid you in fixing the problem and fixing the bugs.

The party was already in full swing by the time you arrived. Packed with people– music, chatter, and the faint smell of alcohol and weed filled the air. You grabbed Yelena’s hand, letting her lead the way as she navigated the crowded rooms.
“Let’s get drunk!” Yelena shouted over the thumping music, pulling you toward the makeshift bar in the kitchen. Filling your cup with something sweet, and strong, you felt a warm buzz rush through your body, taking effect within minutes.
The day's worries melted away as your night wore on. You danced and laughed with Yelena by your side. Making everything seem brighter and lighter, the alcohol helped you enjoy yourself. And, it wasn’t long before you and Yelena noticed Harley standing across the room, his eyes fixated on you, his familiar face sparking a flutter of old feelings in the pit of your stomach.
With a sly grin, Yelena nudged you. “Go talk to him,” she urged, giving you a playful push in his direction.
For years, Harley had become a constant presence at these parties, and the physical attraction between you was undeniable. The many nights you found yourself exploring each other’s bodies, tangled in strange beds together, was a testament to that connection. Yet, unbeknown to anyone as to why, the relationship never evolved beyond casual hookups.
You had harbored a quiet hope that something more might develop, but it never did.
Approaching Harley, the alcohol mixing with the atmosphere seemed to amplify everything. Glancing up at you, his face brightened with his familiar, charismatic smile.
“Hey, you,” Harley said, his voice low and inviting. “It’s been a little while.”
“Yeah,” you replied, trying to keep your tone light. “It’s good to see you.” The alcohol gave you a little more courage, but you couldn’t help but focus on the flutter of nervousness.
His hand lingered a bit longer than necessary, brushing your arm as he spoke. “You look amazing tonight,” he said, his voice dropping even lower. His gaze filled with warmth and with an intensity in his eyes causing your pulse to quicken. “How about we get out of here?”
Before you could process what was happening, his lips found yours, kissing you with an urgency that surprised you. Pulling you close, his hand slid around your waist, lifting you slightly. Your heart raced as you felt the heat radiating off him.
The kiss felt familiar, and at first, almost like a comfort. But, as the kiss deepened, something unsettling began to come into realization for you. The excitement you once felt seemingly began to fade, a growing sense of discomfort replacing it. His hand roamed up your chest as his lips moved against yours, pushing you against the wall.
As you tried to focus on the kiss, you couldn’t shake the feeling that something wasn’t right, something had changed. The heat that would usually course between you fell distant, cold. Flashing in your mind like a film reel, images of Bucky appeared, and the words that fell from his lips earlier that day echoed loudly in your ears.
Your spark for Harley was no longer in sight, your mind had chosen another.
Gently pushing him away, you broke the kiss. His eyes were half-closed, still caught up in the moment. It didn’t take long for his expression to shift to confusion as he took in your sudden withdrawal.
“Hey, what’s wrong?” he asked, his voice laced with concern. “I thought we were having a good time?”
You tried to steady your racing heart, taking deep breaths. “Harley… I’m sorry, but I don’t think this is right.”
Furrowing his brow, he searched your face for an explanation. “What do you mean? This is our thing.”
“I know,” you said, your voice steadying as you spoke. “But tonight, I… I just don’t feel the same way. It’s as if, what we had isn’t there anymore.”
Harley’s face fell, disappointment and frustration crossed his features. “You’re serious? After all these years, you just don’t feel it?”
You nodded, a strange feeling of regret mixed with relief coursing through you. “Yeah, I guess… Maybe, I’m just not in the same place anymore.”
He was taken aback, staring at you for a moment. “Alright, if that’s how you feel,” he said, stepping back, and raising his hands in defeat. “I guess I’ll see you around.”
Watching Harley walk away, a mix of emotions coursed through you. The kiss had been a reminder of how much things were changing. You couldn’t shake the feeling of disillusionment as you turned to find Yelena. Even though the night had brought clarity, it was leaving you with a sense of unresolved feelings and a newfound determination to confront the person who had recently occupied your thoughts– James Barnes.
~
Stumbling onto the patio, the cool night air hit your flushed face as you fumbled with your phone. The distant sound of the music and laughter from the party seemed to fade as you scrolled through your contacts, the city lights blurring in your vision. You leaned against the railing for support as you came across Bucky’s number and hit call with trembling fingers.
“Hello? Doll?” Bucky’s voice came through, groggy but with an instant concern.
“B-Bucky?” you slurred, hiccuping slightly. “Why aren’t you asleep? Isn’t it late?”
“I was sleeping until you called, babydoll. Where are you?” His voice was a mix of worry and frustration, but mostly worry.
“At a party with Yelena, but I can’t find her,” you mumbled, your words blending as you glanced around the patio, seeing only strangers smoking.
“I told you to get an early night,” Bucky said, his tone stern but not unkind.
“I know,” you whined, pouting as you leaned your forehead against the cool metal of the railing. “But, I wanted to see if there was anything still there with Harley. But, there isn’t.”
There was a pause on the other end of the line, then Bucky’s voice was firm and resolute. “Send me your location. I’m coming to get you.”
“I thought I wanted him,” you hiccupped again, tears threatening to spill over. “But I don’t. I want you.”
“Doll, send me your location,” he repeated, his voice steady but more insistent.
You ignored his request, continuing to babble incoherently, telling him facts about hydrangea flowers and how they get their color. Bucky’s tone shifted, becoming more commanding. “You have five seconds to give me your location,” he said, beginning to count down. “Five… four…”
"Um, I’m not sure,” you whispered, your voice small and sad, glancing around the unfamiliar surroundings.
“Alright, baby,” he softened, “go outside for me, okay?”
“Okay,” you agreed, pushing through the crowd and out the door, your steps unsteady. The night air was crisp, and the sound of traffic and city life enveloped you. You shivered slightly, both from the cold and your anxiety.
“What do you see around you?” he asked, his voice a calming presence in your ear.
You looked around, struggling to steady your gaze. "I see... a streetlight flickering and a corner convenience store with a red awning. There’s a mural on the wall next to it, and the street’s lined with parked cars," you managed, your voice shaky.
“Good girl, stay there. I’m coming to get you,” he reassured you. The promise of his arrival brought a sense of relief, and you clung to it, waiting for the familiar sight of his car to appear.
~
Pulling up to the curb, Bucky emerged with a concerned expression from a black SUV, its dark windows reflecting the city’s neon lights. His intense gaze scanned the street before locking onto you. He approached you swiftly, as always, his presence was both commanding and a comfort, his arm wrapping around your waist steadying you on your feet.
“Let’s get you out of here,” he murmured with a low rumble. Guiding you gently toward the car, his grip firm yet tender.
Once inside the SUV, the seats were cool against your skin, and the dim lighting offered a relaxing contrast to the chaos of the party. The scent of leather grounded you as if mixed with the spice of Bucky’s cologne. Settling beside you, Bucky’s body was a solid and reassuring presence.
The driver navigated the streets, and you leaned into Bucky’s side, feeling the exhaustion and alcohol catching up with you. “I’m hungry,” you mumbled, your stomach growling softly.
“Did you eat before going out?” he asked, his tone gentle yet concerned. He watched you with worry as his head tilted slightly.
You shook your head, pouting slightly. “No.”
Bucky sighed, glancing at the driver. “What do you want?”
“Chicken nuggets,” you replied, a small smile tugging at your lips. Your childlike request lightens the mood of the night.
Making eye contact with the driver, Bucky nodded. The SUV diverted its route to a nearby fast-food place, the lights casting a warm glow as you pulled into the drive-thru. Not long after, you were handed a bag of chicken nuggets and a strawberry milkshake. You happily devoured the nuggets and drink in the back seat, a smile spreading across your face as you played with the rings on Bucky’s fingers, humming along to the low sound of the radio.
When you finally reached his penthouse, your eyes widened in awe. The spacious, modern design with floor-to-ceiling windows showcased the city skyline– far from your shared apartment. The sleek furniture, soft lighting, and overall luxurious atmosphere left you momentarily speechless. The vast elegance of the space was overwhelming, making you feel small yet safe.
Bucky guided you to a guest bedroom, helping you settle into the plush bed. Softly lit, the room held a sense of comfort. “Get some rest, little doll,” he said softly, brushing a strand of hair from your face. “We’ll talk in the morning.”
“Thank you, sir,” you murmured, your eyes already drifting closed, the softness of the bed and the warmth of his presence lulling you into sleep.
~
Walking up in an unfamiliar bed, the soft silk sheets and plush pillows only slightly eased your confusion. The room was luxurious, a far cry from your modest apartment. Panic began to set in as you realized you had no clear memory of how you’d ended up here. Quickly sitting up, the room spun slightly as you tried to piece together the events of the previous night.
Heart racing, you scrambled out of bed and stumbled toward the door. The thick carpet muffled your steps as you cautiously made your way through the penthouse, your anxiety growing with each passing second. The memories of the night before were hazy, and the unfamiliar surroundings heightened your sense of disorientation.
Finally, you reached the kitchen, the smell of food, cooking, guiding you. You peeked around the corner, and there he was—Bucky, clad in nothing, but sweatpants, standing at the stove. Flipping pancakes with easy confidence, his movements precise and rhythmic.
Relief washed over you as you saw him, though you still felt uneasy. “Bucky?” you called out, your voice trembling slightly.
He turned to you, his face lighting up with a warm, reassuring smile. “Morning, doll. I was just making breakfast.”
You nodded, though your expression was still one of confusion. “I… I don’t remember much from last night. How did I end up here?”
Bucky’s smile softened. He set down the spatula and walked over to you, placing a comforting hand on your shoulder. “You called me late last night, and I came to pick you up. You were pretty out of it, so I brought you back here to know you were safe.”
You took a deep breath, trying to steady yourself. “Oh, right. I’m sorry for causing any trouble.”
He shook his head, dismissing your apology with a gentle smile. “No trouble at all. How about some pancakes? I made a batch just for you.”
You hesitated for a moment, but the aroma of the pancakes was comforting. “I’d love some,” you said, offering a small smile in return.
Bucky guided you to the kitchen island, pulling out a chair for you. You sat down, still feeling slightly disoriented but grateful for the familiarity of Bucky’s presence. He served you a stack of pancakes, their golden-brown surfaces glistening with syrup.
As you began to eat, the atmosphere in the kitchen grew quieter. Bucky took a seat across from you, his demeanor shifting subtly. His usual warmth and easy confidence were replaced by a slight stiffness. His eyes, which normally sparkled with kindness, were now clouded with a hint of something you couldn’t quite place.
You noticed the change, feeling a pang of anxiety. “Bucky, is everything okay?”
He looked up, his expression unreadable. “Yeah, everything’s fine,” he said, but the words felt forced, lacking their usual sincerity.
The silence stretched on, becoming increasingly uncomfortable. You took another bite of your pancakes, trying to find something to say. “Thank you for looking after me last night. I don’t know what I would have done without you.”
Bucky nodded, his gaze distant. “It’s no problem.”
You could sense the tension, the unspoken words hanging heavy in the air. The warmth of the pancakes and the comfort of the penthouse felt almost suffocating now. “Bucky, please, tell me what’s going on. Did I do something wrong?”
Bucky's silence was punctuated only by the occasional clink of cutlery against plates. Finally, he broke the uneasy quiet. “Do you not remember what happened last night?”
“No…” you admitted, your voice small. “It’s all a blur.” Your heart raced, a mix of confusion and guilt flooding you. “Bucky, what did I do to make you so pissed with me?”
“It’s not– it’s not what you did,” he snapped, frustration evident in his tone. “It’s the fact that you don’t remember a damn thing and now I’m left questioning if it was all just the alcohol talking.”
You felt a surge of defensiveness but also deep regret. “I’m– Bucky, I have no clue what you’re talking about!”
Bucky's face reddened with a surge of anger, flaring his nostrils as he clenched his jaw. His fingers gripped the edge of the kitchen counter so tightly that the knuckles turned white. His gaze was locked on you, eyes blazing with a fierce intensity that made the air feel electric.
His voice rose, sharp and unyielding, slicing through the heavy silence. “You told me last night that you didn’t want some guy named Harley, whoever the fuck that is!” His hand slammed down onto the counter with a loud thud, the sudden motion causing your body to flinch. “And then, you told me that you wanted me!” His shoulders were tense, rigid with frustration, and he took a step closer, his body language exuding a mix of fury and hurt.
He paced for a moment, his movements jerky and agitated, as if trying to contain the turmoil within him. “But you don’t remember that because you’re a little brat who cared more about intoxicating your mind than resting!” His voice cracked slightly, revealing the strain in his words, and he ran a frustrated hand through his hair, his face contorting with a mix of anger and disbelief.
Your breath caught at Bucky’s outburst, his anger palpable and raw. For a moment, you sat frozen, processing his harsh words and the intensity of his emotions. Yet, as the seconds ticked by, something unexpected began to stir within you. The way he’d called you a “little brat,” the sheer force of his frustration– it was unnervingly exhilarating.
His anger was like a spark igniting something deep inside you. You found yourself drawn to the power in his voice, the way his eyes darkened with intensity. The tension in his body, the rigid set of his shoulders; it was all somehow captivating. You bit your lip, trying to mask the shift in your feelings.
Instinctively, you stepped closer, lowering your gaze and giving him your most sincere, tear-filled eyes. You let your lips form a small, apologetic pout. “I really am sorry, sir,” you said softly, your voice filled with genuine regret. “I didn’t mean to upset you.”
Bucky’s eyes narrowed slightly as he looked at you, a mixture of frustration and reluctant amusement flickering in his gaze. He folded his arms across his chest, his posture still tense but his expression softening.
“Do you have any idea what would be happening to you right now,” he said, his tone carrying a blend of frustration and an odd, stern amusement, “if this discussion was within an agreed arrangement?”
You nodded slowly, your heart pounding at his words. The idea of facing his consequences, of navigating through this complicated emotional journey, was both intimidating and strangely thrilling. You could sense that Bucky was struggling with his emotions, trying to reconcile the feelings of frustration with the undeniable connection between you.
“I understand, sir,” you said softly, your voice almost a whisper. “And I’m willing to do whatever it takes to make things right. I just want to understand where we stand and how we can move forward.”
Bucky’s gaze softened further, though a hint of his earlier sternness remained. He stepped closer, reaching out to gently cup your cheek with his hand. The touch was both tender and commanding, a reminder of the complexity of your relationship.

Leighton Murray nervously adjusted her dress as she entered the lively frat party with her roommates, the pulsating music and laughter echoing through the air. Being a closeted lesbian in college had its challenges, but tonight, Leighton decided to step out of her comfort zone. She had just come out to her roommates, and the energy in the room was contagious. She hoped that maybe, just maybe, she could find a connection that would make her college experience a little less complicated.
As she navigated through the crowd, Leighton spotted a figure standing near the makeshift bar, seemingly observing the chaotic dance floor. Y/N, with a welcoming smile, caught Leighton's eye. Y/N's presence was magnetic, and Leighton felt a flutter in her chest.
Leighton took a deep breath, determined to embrace the spontaneity of the night. She approached Y/N with a false confident smile, her heart pounding in her chest. "Hey, I'm Leighton," she greeted, grabbing a cup while trying to sound casual despite her nerves.
Y/N turned to face her, their eyes meeting in a moment of shared connection. "Hey, Leighton. I'm Y/N. Nice to meet you, I'd offer you a drink but you don't look like the type of girl to drink shitty liquor." they replied, a grin playing on their lips as their eyes travel down Leighton's body.
"Can't be too picky in college. Although I do prefer Glenfarclas, I'll take what I can get." Leighton replied with a matching grin, widening it as she watched the look of confusion on Y/N's face.
The conversation flowed effortlessly between the two. Leighton discovered that Y/N loved indie music and had a passion for photography. As they laughed and chatted, Leighton couldn't help but feel a growing connection with Y/N.
As the night progressed, the atmosphere became more electric, and the decision to venture onto the dance floor was inevitable. Y/N, sensing Leighton's hesitation, gently took her hand, pulling her into the pulsating crowd. The colorful lights illuminated their faces as they danced, the music creating a rhythmic backdrop to their growing connection.
In the midst of the chaos, Leighton found solace in the shared laughter and subtle touches. Y/N's hand in hers felt comforting, and the chemistry between them became undeniable. Leighton realized that this unexpected connection was a breath of fresh air, a chance to be herself without the weight of secrecy.
But then came the looks, the amount of men staring at them, it made Leighton's skin crawl.
Leighton pulled them away from the dance floor, seeking a quieter spot to catch her breath. Leighton's heart raced as she looked into Y/N's eyes, feeling a magnetic pull. Y/N, smiling at Leighton's vulnerability, reached out to gently brush a strand of hair away from her face.
Leighton hesitated for a moment, then leaned in, capturing Y/N's lips in a soft and lingering kiss. It felt like the world around them disappeared, leaving only the two of them in that quiet corner of the frat party. For Leighton, it was a liberating moment, a step towards embracing her true self.
Y/N smiled, their eyes reflecting understanding and acceptance. "I'm glad I met you tonight, Leighton," they whispered.
Leighton and Y/N, lost in the magnetic pull between them, continued their passionate kiss. The sounds of the party faded into the background as they embraced the warmth and intensity of the moment. Y/N's hands grasped Leighton's waist, their fingertips tracing the contour of her skin.
Leighton's heart raced with a mixture of excitement and nervousness. The taste of Y/N's lips was intoxicating, and she found herself surrendering to the euphoria of the connection they were building. Y/N's other hand found its way to the small of Leighton's back, pulling her closer, their bodies pressed together in an electrifying dance.
The world around them seemed to disappear as they explored the depth of their desire. Leighton's hands rested on Y/N's shoulders, fingers lightly running through the strands of their hair. The air between them crackled with newfound energy, and the quiet corner they had found became an intimate sanctuary.
As they broke the kiss, Leighton's breath caught, and her eyes locked onto Y/N's. A shared understanding passed between them — a recognition of something special unfolding. Y/N's gaze held a mix of tenderness and desire, encouraging Leighton to let go of the inhibitions that had held her back.
Y/N's fingers traced gentle patterns along Leighton's spine, sending shivers down her body.
"You wanna head back to my dorm?" Leighton asked with a sly smile, Y/Ns face matching hers as they nodded.
___
The night air was crisp as Leighton and Y/N left the vibrant energy of the frat party behind. They walked hand in hand across the campus, the quietness providing a welcome contrast to the lively chaos they had just experienced. The journey to Leighton's dorm was filled with shared laughter and stolen glances, the connection between them growing stronger with each step.
Upon reaching Leighton's dorm, the anticipation hung in the air. The soft glow of the hallway lights illuminated their faces as Leighton fumbled with her keys, her heart pounding with a mix of nervousness and excitement. She unlocks her dorm door with a giggle, her mood slightly affected by the alcohol she drank previously. She turned to Y/N, their eyes locking in a silent understanding.
Y/N's hand cupped Leighton's cheek, their touch sending a comforting wave through her. "Thank you for tonight," Y/N whispered, their breath hot against Leighton's face.
Leighton smiled, a mixture of gratitude and affection in her gaze. "No, thank you," she replied, feeling a warmth spreading within her.
As they entered Leighton's dorm, the door clicking shut behind them, the atmosphere changed. The space became an intimate cocoon where the outside world ceased to matter. Leighton turned to face Y/N, their eyes meeting in silent agreement. In that moment, the unspoken connection reached a new level of intimacy.
Without a word, Y/N gently tilted Leighton's chin upward, their lips meeting in a soft and tender kiss. It was a continuation of the magnetic energy that had drawn them together throughout the night. Leighton's heart raced as the kiss deepened, the warmth and reassurance of Y/N's touch melting away any lingering reservations.
Y/N pulled Leighton's body backward, dropping to sit on the couch without breaking the kiss with Leighton.
They broke the kiss, a shared smile passing between them. The air was charged with anticipation as Y/N whispered, "Is this okay?", bringing their hands up to tug gently on Leighton's dress.
their bodies were already responding to each other's touch, and Leighton nodded as she leaned closer, their lips meeting in a passionate kiss.
Their tongues tangled together hungrily, exploring each other's mouths as if they had been waiting for this moment forever. Their hands roamed freely over each other's bodies, caressing and groping with equal intensity. Leighton's dress came off first, revealing her thick thighs and breasts, her nipples erect from the cold weather. Y/N followed suit, pulling off their clothing to match Leighton's naked body.
Y/N pulled Leighton down onto their lap, her straddling one of Y/N's thighs. She kisses them gently, leading her kisses down Y/Ns neck as she grinds her wet folds against their thigh.
Y/N holds onto Leighton's hips tightly, their nails digging into her skin. Leighton reached between them, her fingers finding Y/N's sensitive spot and massaging it vigorously. "That feels so good," Y/N moaned, their voice hoarse with desire as they helped Leighton reach her orgasm on their thigh.
"I know," Leighton panted back, her breath hot against Y/N's neck. "Tell me you want more."
"I do... I need more Leight," Y/N confessed, their hips bucking wildly, Leighton pushing a finger inside of Y/N. The couch creaked under their combined weight as they rode each other harder and faster, sweat covering both of their bodies in a sticky film.
Their breasts hit against each other's, nipples rubbing against nipples in sync with their rhythmic movements. Their moans muffled against each other's necks and shoulders, echoing throughout the otherwise silent room. Leighton's fingers continued to tease Y/N's G-spot relentlessly, pushing them closer to releasing.
Y/N's hands grabbed onto Leighton's ass, squeezing them firmly before slapping them lightly. The stinging followed by the coolness of the air on her bare bottom made Leighton moan even louder, getting closer as she kissed and bit Y/Ns neck.
Leighton's own orgasm was building rapidly, her humping Y/N's thigh hastily. "I'm... I'm close," she whimpered, her voice strained with pleasure.
"Me too," Y/N panted back, their hips picking up the pace, helping Leighton ride them and Leighton's fingers going deeper inside of Y/N. The combined sounds of their heavy breathing and moans reverberated throughout the room, creating a sensual symphony that heightened their arousal even further.
With their hips buckling one more time, Y/N cried out, their body tensing up as wave after wave of intense pleasure washed over them. Their climax seemed to last forever, their body shaking as Leighton helped her ride out the high. When it finally subsided, both girls were panting heavily, their bodies covered in sweat and fluids.
Collapsing onto the couch, they stayed intertwined for several minutes, catching their breath and savoring the post-coital bliss. Their hearts were racing wildly in sync, their breathing gradually returning to normal.
Leighton's dorm room felt like a haven of intimacy as she and Y/N laid there, their fingers entwined. The soft glow of a lamp cast a warm light across the room, creating a cozy atmosphere. With unspoken understanding, Leighton gestured towards her room, an invitation in her eyes.
"Would you like to stay?" Leighton asked, her voice a gentle whisper that hung in the air.
Y/N nodded, a genuine smile playing on their lips. "I'd love to."
They moved towards the bedroom, the tension in the room shifting from the excitement of the night to a quieter, more tender energy. Leighton opened the door and sat on her bed, pulling back the covers, to reveal the inviting space where their connection would deepen.
As they settled into the bed, Leighton couldn't help but feel a mix of nervousness and anticipation. Y/N mirrored her emotions, their eyes locked in a shared moment of vulnerability. The unspoken understanding between them was a comforting presence, allowing Leighton to be herself without the weight of pretense.
Y/N lay down beside Leighton, the soft comforter enveloping them. The warmth of the room and the lingering connection from the night created a sense of serenity. Leighton turned towards Y/N, their eyes meeting in the dim light.
Without a word, they leaned in, sharing a gentle kiss that conveyed a depth of emotion words couldn't capture. It was a tender acknowledgment of the connection they had discovered, and a promise of the intimacy that would unfold as they navigated this newfound chapter together.
As they settled into each other's arms, the room filled with the soft sounds of their breathing and the quiet whispers of the night. Leighton closed her eyes, feeling a sense of peace she hadn't known before. Y/N's presence beside her brought comfort and acceptance, creating a safe space where Leighton could let go of the walls she had built around her heart.
In the embrace of the bed, they fell asleep quickly with their limbs entwined. The night became a canvas for a shared journey, a journey that went beyond the confines of a college dorm room. As sleep embraced them, Leighton and Y/N found solace in each other's arms, the promise of a new day and a deeper connection awaiting them when the morning sun kissed the horizon.

OTHER PART(S): PART 1 I PART 2
WORD COUNT: 4.4k
WARNINGS: 18+ MINORS DNI. ALCOHOL USE. Dancing/Grinding.
TAG LIST: SEE COMMENTS BELOW
You stood in front of the mirror, admiring the way the deep blue dress hugged your curves, the fabric shimmering softly under the light. Your hair fell in loose waves around your shoulders, and you had perfected your makeup—just the right amount of eyeliner to make your eyes pop and a soft pink gloss that felt just flirty enough. Tonight was supposed to be a girls' night out, filled with laughter, dancing, and maybe a little trouble. But as you applied the final touches of your lipstick, your phone buzzed on the counter.
You picked it up, glancing at the screen to see Jake’s name flashing. A flutter of excitement danced in your stomach as you opened the message.
Hey, what are you up to tonight?
Your fingers hovered over the keyboard, a smirk playing on your lips as you crafted your response.
Depends on who's asking.
You hit send, biting your lip in anticipation. It didn’t take long for his reply to come through.
I was thinking about hitting up this new club some of the guys have been talking about. Want to join?
Your brow arched, your heart racing a little faster. Are the guys going to care if you bring me?
Jake’s response was quick, and the straightforwardness of it made your stomach flip. Going solo. Just thought it’d be more fun with you there.
You glanced at the time, the thrill of spontaneity washing over you. The girls would understand. They always did. Without much further thought, you typed back, Okay, I’m in.
You tossed your phone onto the bed, a rush of adrenaline coursing through you as you hurried to grab a jacket and slip on some heels. This was a different kind of night out, one that felt charged with possibilities. The thought of being with Jake, surrounded by music and laughter, made your pulse race. It wasn’t just the thrill of the club or the drinks that awaited you—it was the promise of a night spent with him that had you feeling alive.
You slipped out the door, the cool night air hitting your skin and invigorating you as you made your way to the Uber that was waiting for you. The drive to the club was filled with excitement and a hint of nerves, and you couldn’t shake the feeling that this night was going to be different.
The moment you stepped into the club, the music hit you—a heavy, rhythmic bass that vibrated through the floors and pulsed in your chest. The place was crowded, lights flashing overhead in sync with the beat. Jake walked beside you, his hand resting comfortably on your lower back as he guided you toward the bar. It was a simple touch, but it sent a jolt of awareness through you, making you wonder if tonight was going to blur the lines you’d set between yourselves.
When you reached the bar, Jake leaned in close, his breath warm against your ear as he asked, “What are you drinking? Vodka soda?”
You hesitated for a second before answering, "Y-yeah. Vodka soda’s fine."
He nodded and signaled to the bartender, ordering your drink and a beer for himself. When he pulled out his wallet and slid his card across the counter, you shot him a confused look.
“You don’t have to do that,” you said, your brows knitting together. “I can pay for my own drinks.”
Jake shrugged, a casual smile tugging at his lips. “Not tonight, sweetheart. Drinks are on me.”
Your heart stuttered in your chest. Normally, you paid for yourself—always had. The boundaries between you two were clear. You didn’t let anyone pay unless it was a date, and this… this wasn’t a date, right?
Suddenly, your mind started racing. Was this a date? Had you unknowingly agreed to something more? Was Jake seeing this as more than just two friends, more than the no-strings arrangement you'd carefully constructed?
But before you could spiral too far down that rabbit hole, Jake interrupted your thoughts by nudging your shoulder lightly. “Hey,” he said, his voice cutting through the noise in your head. “You good?”
You blinked up at him, startled, before forcing a smile. “Yeah, just… surprised, I guess.”
Jake raised an eyebrow, amused. “Surprised I remember your drink?”
“No, not that.” You bit your lip, glancing down at the drink in your hand. “I just wasn’t expecting you to pay.”
His grin widened, a flash of white teeth under the club's dim lighting. “Well, consider it my way of thankin’ you for joining me tonight.”
Your stomach fluttered at his words, but you pushed it down, trying to remind yourself of the boundaries. This wasn’t a date. He wasn’t crossing a line, not technically, but something about it felt… different.
Then, as if sensing the shift in your mood, Jake leaned in a little closer, his voice a teasing drawl. “So, what about dancing? Is that allowed under your rules?”
You blinked, momentarily caught off guard by the question. Dancing? You hadn’t even thought about that when you’d agreed to come. You glanced out at the dance floor, bodies swaying and grinding to the heavy beat, the heat and energy palpable even from where you stood. It wasn’t necessarily against your rules, but dancing like that... well, it could blur things.
Your hesitation must have been obvious because Jake’s lips twitched into a smirk, his eyes sparkling with amusement. “What’s the verdict, darlin’? You gonna let me take you out there, or are you worried it’ll cross some imaginary line?”
There was a playful challenge in his voice, one that made your heart skip a beat. You were overthinking it, you told yourself. It was just dancing. No strings attached, just like always.
You took a deep breath, squashing down the flutter of anxiety in your chest. "Dancing's allowed," you said finally, your voice a little breathless.
Jake’s grin widened, satisfaction evident in his expression. “Good,” he murmured, his hand already reaching for yours. “Because I’m about to make you forget those rules.”
He took your hand, and you let him lead you through the crowd onto the dance floor, the energy around you vibrating with the music. At first, you moved together with a comfortable rhythm, the distance between you just enough to keep things light. But as the third song transitioned into the fourth, the atmosphere shifted.
The thumping bass of the club surrounded you, but all you could focus on was Jake's hands as they held you close, the heat between your bodies building with every passing second. The casual space between you vanished as your hips began to move in sync, the friction of your bodies sparking something hotter than either of you had planned.
“Damn, you look amazing in that dress,” he leaned in and whispered, his breath hot against your ear.
You felt a thrill of confidence, a teasing grin spreading across your face. “You should see what I have on underneath it.”
You caught the way his expression shifted, his eyes darkening with desire as he let out a soft groan. “Hoping I can later,” he murmured back, his voice low and filled with promise.
Jake's hands slipped lower, resting just above your butt at first, but as you pressed your hips more boldly against him, rolling them in time with the beat, you felt his fingers tighten, sliding down to cup your ass fully. His grip was firm, possessive even, as if he couldn’t resist any longer.
You smirked at his reaction, feeling the way his body tensed against yours as you ground your hips deliberately into him. You weren’t usually this forward with him, but tonight you wanted to see just how far you could push. The bolder you became, the more Jake’s control seemed to unravel. His breath hitched, and for a split second, you felt like you had him completely off guard.
"You're driving me crazy," he murmured into your ear, his voice rough, his lips brushing the sensitive skin there. "I’ve never seen you like this before."
You could hear the raw need in his voice, and it spurred you on. You moved against him again, feeling the way his body responded, and let your head fall back onto his shoulder, giving him a wicked smile. His grip on you tightened even more, his fingers digging into your hips as he held you close, his control slipping further with each movement.
"You're so damn sexy," he whispered, his lips barely grazing your jawline now, his breath warm against your skin. You felt a shiver run down your spine at his words, and you couldn't help but let your body respond, pressing harder against him. The heat between you was palpable, and it was clear neither of you was planning on staying at the club much longer.
Jake’s hand slid up your side, brushing the curve of your waist before returning to your hips, pulling you even closer, if that was possible. The boldness of your movements had caught him off guard, but he couldn’t deny how much he liked this side of you. He was used to you being a bit more reserved, but tonight you were anything but shy.
Jake’s hands were on you, possessive and unyielding, as your hips moved together in a slow, heated rhythm. The air around you felt thick, and you could tell he was on the edge of his control. When he leaned in, his lips grazing the shell of your ear, you felt the heat of his breath as he growled low, "You wanna get out of here?"
For a second, you toyed with the idea of teasing him. Your body was thrumming with need, but something about making him wait felt just as tempting. You let a playful pout form on your lips, your eyes dancing with mischief as you turned your head slightly. "But I just got here," you said, drawing out the words, knowing exactly what you were doing. You could feel his frustration in the way his grip tightened on your hips, his hands nearly trembling with restraint.
Jake's response was immediate. He pulled you closer, so close that there wasn’t an inch of space between your bodies. His voice dropped even lower, barely audible above the music, but the words sent a jolt of heat straight through you. "If you don’t let me take you home," he whispered, his voice rough with desire, "I’m gonna have to take you right here... and I don’t think you want that."
The dirty promise in his voice made your breath catch, and before you could stop yourself, you squeezed your thighs together, the need to be closer to him overwhelming. He noticed. Of course, he noticed. His eyes gleamed with satisfaction as he saw the effect his words had on you, his smirk dangerous and knowing.
He leaned in again, brushing his lips against your ear with deliberate slowness. "So... you wanna get out of here?" This time, the question was more of a command than a request, and every inch of your body screamed yes.
Without missing a beat, you let out a shaky breath and nodded. “Let’s go.”
Jake’s hand wrapped firmly around your wrist, pulling you off the dance floor with a sense of urgency that made your pulse race. The crowd seemed to part around you as he led you toward the exit, the heat of his body pressing against yours every time someone got too close. But it didn’t matter. Your focus was solely on him—on the way his fingers intertwined with yours and the possessive grip that seemed to say you were his for the rest of the night.
As soon as the cool air of the night hit your skin, Jake’s hands were on you again, gripping your waist and tugging you against his chest. “Can’t believe you made me wait that long to get you out of there,” he muttered, his lips brushing against your temple, his hands squeezing your hips as if he couldn’t stand the thought of letting you go. The sudden movement made you stumble in your heels, but Jake steadied you, his hold shifting as he leaned down to look at you.
“You alright?” he asked a hint of laughter in his voice.
“Yeah, just—” Before you knew what was happening, he bent down and grabbed the backs of your thighs, hauling you up and flipping you over his shoulder with infuriating ease.
“Jake!” you cried out, the sudden change in perspective making you momentarily dizzy. You braced yourself against his back, laughter bubbling up in your chest as you squirmed in his hold. “Put me down!” But he didn’t budge. His arm was like a steel band wrapped around your legs, holding you firmly in place.
“Not a chance, darlin’,” he drawled, completely unbothered as he strode confidently through the parking lot, each step making you bounce slightly on his shoulder. You glanced up, seeing a few curious onlookers watching with amused expressions, but Jake seemed unfazed, his focus solely on you. The sight of his broad back, the way his muscles shifted under his shirt as he carried you, made your stomach flip in a way that had nothing to do with the angle you were at.
“Jake Seresin, you put me down right now!” you demanded, even though laughter threaded through your voice, your hands pushing at his back. All you got in response was a smug chuckle, his grip unyielding as he carried you effortlessly across the parking lot.
He kept his word, not letting you go until he reached his truck and set you carefully on your feet beside it. You swayed for a second, your legs still trembling from the sudden shift, and Jake’s hands settled on your waist again, holding you steady as he leaned in.
“There,” he murmured softly, his thumb brushing soothing circles over your hipbone. “No more falling, okay?”
You looked up at him, breathless and flushed, your heart pounding in your chest. “You didn’t have to carry me.”
His eyes darkened, the intensity in them making your stomach flutter. “Maybe I just wanted an excuse to put my hands on you,” he said, his voice low and rough, filled with unspoken desire.
With one swift motion, his hand slid behind your head, fingers tangling in your hair, and in an instant, his lips were on yours. The kiss was hot—heated, almost desperate. It wasn’t soft or tentative; it was full of hunger, the tension from inside the club finally boiling over. His mouth moved against yours with a possessive edge, claiming you in a way that sent a rush of heat straight through your body.
The sharp nip of his teeth caught your bottom lip, tugging it lightly before he soothed it with his tongue, and you let out a soft, breathy sound that only seemed to spur him on. Your fingers instinctively fisted into the fabric of his shirt, pulling him closer as your body leaned into his, craving more of that fire, more of the heat that crackled between you two like electricity.
Every nerve in your body was on edge, hyper-aware of how close he was, how his hand in your hair held you in place while his other hand brushed against your hip, gripping just tight enough to make you feel grounded despite the chaos raging in your mind.
As you pulled away from the kiss, your breath heavy and uneven, Jake gave you a puzzled look. His brows furrowed slightly as if trying to figure out what went wrong.
“What’s wrong?” he asked, his voice low and still thick with desire. “Did I do something?”
You hesitated for a moment, the words tangling in your throat before you finally managed to speak. “You kissed me.”
Jake blinked in surprise, then let out a soft laugh, shaking his head. “Sweetheart,” he said, his lips curving into a smirk, “I’ve done a lot more than that to you.”
You bit your lip, shifting uncomfortably as the reality of the kiss hit you. “Yeah, but… you’ve never kissed me before.”
His eyes narrowed slightly in confusion like he was trying to find the issue with what you were saying. He tilted his head, clearly not seeing the problem. “Kissing’s just foreplay for what’s about to happen,” he pointed out, his voice smooth, the words slipping out like it was the most obvious thing in the world.
You felt your heart racing, the anxiety creeping into your chest as you struggled to shake the thoughts swirling in your mind. He was right—this wasn’t anything new. It didn’t mean anything. It was just part of what always happened between the two of you, just another step before you ended up tangled in his sheets.
But something about it still made your heart skip a beat. You pushed the feeling aside, determined to silence that small voice inside that was overthinking everything.
Jake leaned in, his lips brushing the shell of your ear, and his warm breath sent a shiver down your spine. “You’re thinkin’ too much,” he whispered, his voice low and rough, making it hard to concentrate on anything else. “When I get you back to your place, I’m gonna have to clear that pretty little head of yours.”
His words went straight to your core, and you felt the tension in your body release slightly, your earlier hesitation fading away. You knew what this was, and you weren’t about to let your overthinking ruin the moment. You let out a shaky breath, your mind slowly untangling itself as you nodded.
Jake smirked, his eyes dark with intent as his hand tightened around your waist. “That’s better,” he murmured, before pressing one more heated kiss to your lips. “Now get in,” he said as he motioned toward the truck, his thumb tracing idle circles on your hip as he waited for you to move.
For a second, you just stood there, staring up at him. His expression was relaxed, but there was a simmering intensity beneath the surface that made your skin tingle. This thing between you two... it wasn’t supposed to feel like this. It wasn’t supposed to make your heart flutter or your stomach flip. But here you were, melting under his touch, wanting him in a way that scared you.
Shaking off the thought, you turned and climbed up into the truck, settling into the passenger seat as you tried to calm your racing heart. Jake shut the door behind you, then jogged around to the driver’s side, sliding in beside you with an ease that made everything he did seem effortless.
The truck rumbled down the dark road, the hum of the engine filling the silence between you. Jake had one hand resting casually on the steering wheel, the other draped lazily on his thigh, his thumb tapping lightly to some rhythm only he seemed to hear. The night was quiet, except for the faint thrum of your pulse still racing from the club and everything that had happened so far.
A sudden chill swept over you, and you shivered, instinctively wrapping your arms around yourself. Jake glanced over at you, his eyes flicking between you and the road.
“You cold?” he asked, his voice soft but steady.
You shrugged, trying to play it off. I’m fine,” you mumbled, though the goosebumps on your arms betrayed you.
Without another word, Jake reached up and turned down the air conditioning, the cool blast fading to a more bearable breeze. But then, with his free hand, he reached into the backseat, rummaging around for a second before tossing something into your lap. Surprised, you looked down to see a worn Navy sweatshirt sprawled across your legs.
You blinked, glancing up at him with a confused look. “What’s this?”
“Put it on,” he said simply, his eyes still focused on the road, but a small smile tugging at the corner of his lips.
You hesitated for a moment before slipping the sweatshirt over your head. It was warm, the soft fabric comforting against your skin. As you settled into it, the faint scent of him lingered in the fabric—something woodsy and clean, unmistakably Jake. You took a deep breath, feeling an odd sense of calm wash over you.
“Better?” he asked, his voice cutting through your thoughts.
You nodded, a small smile tugging at your lips. “Yeah, better.”
Jake returned your smile with one of his own before reaching over, his hand settling on your thigh. His touch was warm, the weight of his hand a reassuring presence as his fingers lightly brushed against your skin. He didn’t say anything more, just kept his hand there as he focused on the road ahead, guiding you both toward your place.
The simple gesture—his sweatshirt, his hand on your leg—felt unexpectedly intimate. But in the quiet of the drive, it didn’t feel too heavy or complicated. It was just Jake being Jake, the line between you both blurring for a moment but never fully crossed.
As Jake continued driving, the quiet rumble of the truck and the gentle sway of the road lulled you into a drowsy haze. The warmth of his sweatshirt, soft and comforting against your skin, combined with the alcohol humming through your veins, sent you slipping into sleep before you even realized it. Jake noticed, his lips curving into a small, amused smile. You looked peaceful, bundled up in his sweatshirt, just like the angel he always teased you about being.
When he pulled up to your place, he cut the engine and moved around the truck. Gently opening the door, Jake leaned in, his fingers expertly unbuckling your seatbelt without disturbing you too much. But as his arms slid under you to lift you, you stirred, blinking awake and looking around in confusion.
"You're home," he murmured softly, his voice low and reassuring as he scooped you up in his arms and carried you to your front door.
He set you down gently, his strong hands steadying you as your feet hit the ground. The weight of the moment hit you, and with it, the realization of what had been the unspoken plan for the night. The two of you had been on this track from the moment he asked if you wanted to get out of there. But now, standing in front of your door, sleep still tugging at your eyelids and the warmth of his sweatshirt making you feel oddly safe, you hesitated.
You knew what Jake was expecting. And, honestly, part of you wanted it, too. But another part just wanted to curl up in bed, the softness of his sweatshirt wrapped around you, and drift off to sleep.
Except... that felt weird, right? You don't wear the sweatshirt of your casual fling. You don’t cuddle up in it like it’s something more than it is.
As if reading your mind, Jake shifted slightly and broke the silence. "We talked about what was gonna happen tonight," he reminded you, his tone light, no pressure in his words.
You swallowed, the weight of the evening settling over you. "Yeah... Do you hate me if I take a rain check?" you asked, your voice soft, almost hesitant.
Jake scoffed, his lips quirking up into that familiar crooked smile. "Hate you? Come on, sweetheart. Not a chance," he said, brushing it off like it was nothing. He leaned in a little closer. "Get some sleep. We’ll figure the rest out later."
Relief washed over you, and you couldn’t help the small smile that tugged at your lips. "Thanks, Jake. Get home safe, okay?"
He nodded, gave you one last lingering look, then turned and headed back to his truck. You watched him until he disappeared down the street, then slipped inside your place, closing the door behind you.
As you made your way to your room, your mind was still buzzing. You quickly tugged Jake’s sweatshirt off, tossing it onto your bed before shimmying out of your dress. As the fabric fell to the floor, you caught sight of your reflection in the mirror—the lacy set of lingerie you’d chosen specifically for tonight staring back at you, a reminder of what you’d expected to happen. You sighed. It felt strange, wearing something like this for a casual fling. Too intimate. Too much.
You grabbed a pair of sweatpants and an old t-shirt, sliding into them quickly before catching sight of Jake’s sweatshirt again.
The apartment was a little chilly tonight, and, after all, if he really wanted it back, he would have asked for it, right? Before you could overthink it anymore, you reached out, pulling the soft fabric over your head and curling up in bed.
The warmth of it, and the faint scent of him lingering in the fabric, wrapped around you like a comforting embrace as you pulled the blankets up and let your eyes drift closed.
A few hours later you were pulled from your sleep, your phone lit up on the nightstand. You picked it up, heart skipping a beat when you saw Jake's name flashing on the screen. With a mix of curiosity and excitement, you swiped to answer.
“Hey, is everything okay?” you asked, a hint of concern in your voice.
“Yeah, it’s just… I couldn’t sleep,” he admitted, his tone slightly shy. “I just wanted to hear your voice.”
Relief washed over you, even if you didn’t want to admit it. “Oh.”
“I didn’t wake you up, right sweetheart?”
“N-no. I was just trying to fall asleep, but I hadn’t yet,” you lied.
He chuckled softly, and the sound warmed you. “Same here. Just can’t stop replaying the night over and over.”
You settled into your pillows, your heart fluttering as you listened to him talk about the club, the way you had lit up the dance floor, how beautiful you looked in that dress.
The conversation flowed effortlessly between you, teasing and flirting, sharing thoughts and dreams until the world outside faded into nothingness.
Before you knew it, the soft cadence of your voices turned to whispers, the late hour pulling at you both. As the conversation drifted, you felt your eyelids growing heavy.
And just like that, you both succumbed to the weariness of the day, the phone resting between you as sleep overtook you. The last thing you heard was Jake's soft breathing on the other end, a rhythm that matched your own as you drifted into dreams—dreams colored with the promise of what was to come and the undeniable connection that had sparked between you two.

Hello there!
Can you do a fluff request with Tech please.
6. Dance with me? And 13. Shut up and kiss me already.
Your writing is amazing and so very inspiring x
Choices 🌊
🫧 Pairing: Tech X Female Reader
word count: 1.6k
Prompts:
“Dance with me?”
“Shut up and kiss me already.”
Summary: When a date stands you up, Tech finally takes the chance to make a move.
Warnings: Safe for Work, Fluff, Reader gets Stood Up, First Kiss, Mutual Pining, Slow Dancing, Female Reader.
Authors note: Thanks for the request and kind words! Enjoy 😊
You twirl the ice cubes in your nearly empty glass with your yellow and pink striped straw, the thumping music of the club fading into the background as the realisation sinks in: you've been stood up.
You had decided to navigate the dating scene to which had been a rollercoaster. After realising your feelings weren't going to be ever reciprocated by the one you truly loved, you decided to broaden your horizons. Maybe taking your mind off him. So, you signed up for a dubious dating site on the holonet which only yielded disappointing results, to put it mildly.
Match after match failed to impress. They either droned on about themselves, were impolite to the staff, or made cringe-worthy remarks that you just don’t say on a first date. It was a string of bad experiences. And now, the guy you'd been chatting with for weeks had ghosted you.
Glancing at the clock above the bar, you signal to the service droid. "Could I have another one of these, please?" you request, motioning to your empty glass. The droid beeps in confirmation before attending to your order.
Sighing, you slump your head into your hands, regretting the effort you put into dressing up for this date, only to end up drinking alone. But, your solitude is short-lived.
As you're about to pay for your drink, a hand intercepts yours, and you look up in surprise to see a familiar pair of goggles and eyes, offering to foot the bill. "Allow me."
"Tech? What are you doing here?"
"I came to check on you since you didn't respond to any of our messages," Tech explains, settling onto the stool beside you and leaning forward on the bar. "Where is he?"
You pause, considering whether to lie or not. After all, it was Tech whom you truly loved. Despite your attempts at flirting, his lack of response or reciprocation left you hesitant to confess your feelings.
Others would advise you to tell him straight rather than hint but the fear of rejection loomed large, so you let your emotions for him simmer but never fully blossom. "He didn't show," you finally admit with a sigh, tracing your arm with your fingertips.
"Oh," Tech responds, and you nurse your new drink, the silence between you turning somewhat awkward.
"Thanks for the drink, by the way," you say, breaking the quiet, and he offers a light smile.
"Not a problem. I apologise about your date not turning up. It is his loss," Tech says, his words eliciting a flutter in your stomach that you try to ignore.
You offer a dry laugh and a shrug before taking a sip through the straw. "Thanks, Tech. I'll probably finish this and head out."
Tech pauses, glancing around. "There aren't many patrons here. I’m relieved your date didn't show. It is not ideal to be in such a quiet club with few witnesses if something were to go wrong."
You pull a face at his caution. "Why say that?"
"You never know who you might encounter on the holonet. Choosing a very quiet club isn't the safest option," he explains, prompting an eye roll from you as you take another sip of your drink.
Then, you ask him, "So, where would you take someone on a date?"
He falls silent, his gaze drifting into contemplation. "I have pondered, in theory, that if I were to pursue someone, I would opt for a restaurant. Establishing eye contact is pivotal, followed by discussions about our lives. Then, perhaps, a stroll."
You hum softly, resisting the urge to picture yourself as his date, seated across from him, indulging in delectable cuisine as he shares his sentiments, followed by a romantic walk. "That sounds lovely. They’d be very lucky."
"I'm pleased you think so. Now, I pose the same question to you, as I doubt this club aligns with your idea of a first date," he counters as he does a brief scan of the area, prompting a laugh from you—he's not entirely wrong.
"I'm not entirely sure, to be honest. It depends on whether I like the person or not. I'd prefer to be with someone I enjoy doing something with, rather than doing something with someone I don't," you admit, reminiscing about the countless hours you spent simply conversing with Tech in the cockpit.
A smile graces his lips at your words. "That's endearing."
You take another sip of your drink, emptying it in a few swallows before sighing and preparing to depart. "I should be on my way."
"Very well," Tech nods, but a sudden surge of courage overtakes him as he grasps your upper arm, halting your departure. "What about dancing?"
You glance at his hand on your arm, then up at him with furrowed brows. "What about it?"
"Do you... enjoy it?" he asks, his apprehension palpable as he carefully selects his words.
"I can't say I've had much experience with it. Why do you ask?" you inquire, feeling your heart quicken as he rises and steps closer.
"Dance with me?" he proposes.
You? Dance with Tech? Was this some bizarre turn of events, or perhaps a dream induced by something that Droid had put in your drink? "You don't dance," you blurt out, puzzled by his unexpected request.
He chuckles at your incredulous expression and your swift observation of his lack of dancing skills. "No, I do not. But, I don't see why we both can't give it a try together."
Part of you hopes that you detected a hint of nervousness in his demeanor, perhaps stemming from the fact that he's asking you to dance rather than his own dancing abilities. So, you offer a shy smile and nod. "Okay then."
His smile widens, his eyes gleaming behind his goggles as he releases your arm and gestures for you to lead the way to the main dance floor. The music pulses softly, with a gentle rhythm that invites movement. The deep purple strobe lights dancing off your bodies.
Neither of you seem entirely sure of what to do next, exchanging uncertain glances until he clears his throat and extends his hand to you. Your cheeks warm while your fingers slip into his as he draws you closer, his other hand finding its place on your hip as yours rests on his opposite shoulder.
You initiate a small side step, and Tech follows suit, occasionally glancing down at your feet before meeting your gaze. "This is unexpected... but nice," you murmur softly, even as your whole body tingles with a mixture of excitement and apprehension.
A part of you cautions against letting your hopes get the better of you, reminding you that this shouldn't be happening. Yet, as you lock eyes with him, he holds your gaze, a rare silence settling between you. And he always has something to say.
Drawing you closer than before, your cheek rests against his chest as the two of you sway to the music, his chin gently resting atop your head. "May I ask you a question?" he ventures after a minute or two.
"Uh-huh," you reply, your eyes fluttering closed as you savour the moment.
"Why did you not choose me?" he inquires, his voice barely above a whisper, yet it reverberates in the stillness of the moment.
Your eyes flutter open, and you tilt your head back, peering up at him with a mixture of surprise and confusion. The dim light of the club casts a soft glow on his face, illuminating the earnestness in his gaze. "What do you mean?" you inquire, your voice barely above a whisper, hardly audible over the pulsating music.
He bites the inside of his cheek, a brief flicker of uncertainty crossing his features before he readjusts his goggles with a practiced hand. "You've... flirted with me on numerous occasions," he explains, his tone careful and measured, "yet you chose to pursue someone else."
His words leave you momentarily speechless, your mind racing to comprehend the implications of his confession. He knew about your attempts at flirting? The realisation sends a shiver down your spine. "Tech," you begin, meeting his gaze with furrowed brows, "you never indicated that you wanted me to stop, or that you felt the same way. I just assumed..."
"That I did not share the same feelings you have for me? That I could not?” His voice is soft, yet it carries a weight that hangs in the air between you.
"Do you?" you whisper, feeling the flutter of anticipation in your chest, your heart pounding against your ribs as if seeking escape from the intensity of the moment.
He nods solemnly, his gaze unwavering as he meets your eyes. "I didn't know how to tell you," he admits, "Expressing emotions is not exactly second nature to me. It was not until the others pointed out your advances that I realised it was too late to respond."
As he starts to explain, his words tumbling out in a rush, you can't help but notice the warmth spreading across his cheeks, the nervous energy that radiates from him. It's endearing, seeing him flustered like this, and it emboldens you to take action.
Releasing his hand from your grasp, you reach up to gently cup his cheek, your thumb brushing lightly against his skin. "Shut up and kiss me already.”
Tone soft but resolute, a playful glint dancing in your eyes has him leaning into you without a second thought.
His lips meet yours in a tender and hesitant touch. Warm. Soft. They were everything you had imagined. Everything around you seems to vanish, just you and him caught in the moment. Then, you can feel him smile against your lips as he draws you near, body flushed to his as his lips move along with yours with a gentle passion.
As he pulls away for a breath, both of your heartbeats shattering your eardrums, he smiles lovingly at you. “Do not hesitate to tell me to shut up and kiss you again.”

On Thin Ice
Word Count - 3657
I love this man, thank you and goodnight. For anyone reading this post please refer to the new And cute Jack Hughes masterlist i made for new post and series
prev ... next
Two weeks had gone by in a flash, The warm late morning sun filtering through the trees cast a dappled glow across her face, prompting y/n to squint slightly behind her oversized sunglasses. She hitched her leather tote bag higher up on her shoulder as she approached her favorite shop.
Pushing open the cafe's door with her free hand, y/n was enveloped by the rich aroma of cinnamon and vanilla accompanied by the soft murmurs of conversation. She made her way to the counter, offering the barista a friendly smile.
The barista behind the counter caught her eye and waved. "The usual brown sugar latte?" she called out over the hushed murmurs of conversation. Y/n nodded yes with a small smile.
“Morning Claire,” she greeted. Y/n approached the counter slowly, absentmindedly tucking a loose strand of her hair behind her ear as she waited.
With her order carefully cradled in both hands, she surveyed the mismatched sofas and overstuffed armchairs before choosing an aged floral-print loveseat in the back corner.
She reached into her tote bag and retrieved a well-loved paperback, its pages dog-eared from countless readings. Cradling the book in one hand and her latte in the other.
The bell tinkled merrily above the door, announcing the arrival of another customer, as a gust of cool breeze swept through the café, ruffling the pages of Y/n's book. With a distracted frown, she reached out to secure her novel, her fingers brushing against the smooth paper before the wind relinquished its grip.
Y/n glanced up just in time to catch sight of a figure weaving through the bustling café, murmuring apologies with each step. “Excuse me, sorry,” he whispered. She arched an eyebrow, curiosity piqued as she observed the man make his way toward the counter, effortlessly navigating the sea of tables and chairs.
His tousled, light brown curls were unmistakable, bringing a small laugh to Y/n's lips as she recalled their last encounter – a near-toppling of the counter in a clumsy mishap at the bar just two weeks prior.
She watched with mild amusement as he flashed a charming smile at Claire, the barista, and engaged her in conversation. The universe certainly had a knack for weaving unexpected connections, Y/n mused, her gaze lingering on the familiar face amidst the bustling crowd.
A few moments later, a voice cut through the quiet hum of the café, drawing Y/n's attention back to the present. "Mind if I sit?" the voice asked, its tone casual yet inviting.
Y/n blinked, momentarily taken aback before managing a nervous smile. "Yeah, um, that's fine," she replied, her heart fluttering with a mix of surprise and anticipation.
With a soft thud, she settled back against the plush cushions of the couch, her latte forgotten on the table as she made room for her unexpected companion.
Luke settled into the seat next to Y/n with a grin, his gaze warm and his demeanor relaxed. "Thanks for letting me crash your cozy corner," he said, flashing her a charming smile.
Y/n couldn't help but return the grin, feeling a wave of amusement wash over her. "Well, I figured if you managed to survive the near-disaster at the bar, you can handle a coffee shop," she teased, her tone laced with humor.
Luke chuckled, rubbing the back of his neck sheepishly. "Ah, that’s where I remember you from. I still have nightmares about that," he joked, his eyes sparkling with amusement. "Sorry again. I've never been known for my gracefulness off the ice."
Y/n waved off his apology with a laugh. "No harm done. It was pretty entertaining, actually.”
He glanced around the café, taking in the cozy atmosphere before turning his attention back to her. "So, mind if I ask what you're reading?"
Y/n shrugged, a playful smirk dancing on her lips. "Just some book trying to teach me how to adult properly. Not sure it's working though."
And so the conversation continued, effortlessly weaving between jokes and shared laughter, as Y/n and Luke exchanged numbers. Weeks passed after that day in the coffee shop, Y/n was around more than Jack would like to admit.
Every day Luke would come back to their shared apartment with something new to tell or another story about with his new friends. Being rejected wasn’t something he dealt with often, but it never ended with the girl he liked befriending his little brother.
…
Inside the cozy lakehouse retreat, Y/N was going stir crazy, tapping her foot incessantly as she tried and failed to focus on her book. "Luuuuuke," she whined loudly. "I'm dying here! Let's go swimming before I shrivel up like a raisin."
Luke glanced up from his phone, rolling his eyes at his melodramatic friend. "Chill out, you drama queen. It's just a little heat wave."
"A little?!" Y/N squawked indignantly. "I'm sweating like a hostage negotiator at this point. We need to get in that glorious lake ASAP!"
Chuckling at her over-the-top antics, Luke set his phone aside. "Alright, alright. But you're not dragging me in until I ask if anyone else wants to witness your awkward pool dancing."
"Ugh, you're the worst!" Y/N stuck her tongue out, already stripping off her shirt to reveal her bathing suit underneath. Before Luke could protest, she grabbed his arm and started tugging him toward the backdoor. "No time for your lame humor, let's go!"
Luke stumbled after her, laughing at her total lack of chill. As they burst outside into the sunlight, Y/N let out a whoop of pure joy, pulling Luke into an excited jumping hug before taking off at a sprint toward the lake's edge.
Y/N pushed open the door, and the fresh piney scent and glittering lake hit her like a revitalizing splash of water. "Last one in is a rotten egg!" she hollered, already stripping off her leggings, revealing the light blue bathing suit underneath with reckless abandon.
Luke watched in amusement as shirts and pants went flying, soaking in her infectious enthusiasm. "Geez, calm down there, Strippy. Leave a little something to the imagination." Y/n paused for a moment, savoring the feeling of the sun on her skin and the cool breeze ruffling her hair.
"Oh hush, you prude." Y/N stuck her tongue out, she struck a silly pose, jutting out her belly. "Nice beach bod, am I right?"
Luke snorted. "The beachest and the bodest."
Wiggling her eyebrows, Y/N took off at a sprint towards the dock. She flung herself off the edge, tucking her knees to her chest as she sliced through the cool water.
Luke was right behind, his form more of an ungraceful belly flop. He surfaced sputtering water. "Ugh, why did I let you talk me into-" A wave of lake water cut him off as Y/N splashed him gleefully.
"ha, you should see your face!" She kicked away, laughing at his drenched scowl. "Race you to the buoy and back? Loser gets their swimsuit filleted with a fishing knife!" Shaking the water from his eyes, Luke grinned. "You're on, weirdo. Prepare to be pantsless!"
The two friends took off, alternating between furious strokes and splashing cada other relentlessly. Their laughter echoed across the serene lake. "I think I changed my mind, Lukey. It's really cold," she admitted with a laugh.
"It's fine, I'll keep you warm," he reassured her with a chuckle, the warmth of his smile dispelling any lingering doubts as he joined her in the water, swimming up next to her but keeping a playful distance.
Y/n narrowed her eyes at him, a playful scowl on her lips. "No, go away, you're evil. You're gonna mess up my hair," she protested, swatting at him with feigned indignation.
They both laughed, the sound echoing across the water as he deftly dodged her playful swats. "Awww, is someone's hair gonna get messy?" he teased, winking mischievously before splashing her again, sending a cascade of droplets flying through the air.
Y/n let out a squeal of protest, her laughter mingling with the sound of splashing water as she retaliated, sending a playful splash of her own in Luke's direction.
The air was filled with the sound of their laughter and the gentle lapping of waves against the shore as they engaged in their impromptu water battle.
With a mischievous grin, she reached out and playfully mushed his face away, sending him sputtering and spluttering as he struggled to regain his composure. She dove gracefully into the water before he could retaliate, the surface swallowing her up in its depths.
Y/N broke through the surface, spluttering slightly after her unexpected underwater encounter. "Jack! Jeez, you nearly gave me a heart attack." She pushed her damp hair back from her face watching his lips quirking into an amused grin at her startled expression.
Jack was rooted at the end of the dock, arms crossed tightly over his bare chest as he watched her tread water. His eyes narrowed almost imperceptibly as Luke paddled up beside Y/N. "What're you doing cannonballing around with Sideburns McGee over here?" Jack's tone was light, but Y/N could detect an undercurrent of something else.
Y/N blinked up at Jack in surprise, taken aback by the sudden intensity behind his words. She exchanged a puzzled glance with Luke, who seemed obliviously unconcerned as he floated beside her.
"Uh, swimming?" she answered slowly. "You know, that thing people do in lakes during the summer?" she replied with a casual shrug, though she could practically feel the jealousy rolling off Jack in waves.
Jack's jaw ticked, but he forced a tight smile. "Right, right. My bad. I just thought maybe you two were..." He trailed off, gaze flickering between them meaningfully.
"Were what?" Luke piped up, scratching his damp curls. "Racing? Cause Y/N's totally cheating with those froggy kicks."
Y/N snorted, sticking her tongue out at the oblivious Luke before turning back to Jack. She couldn't resist a teasing smile, sensing an opportunity to ruffle his feathers.
"Aw, is wittle Jacky feeling left out?" She batted her lashes exaggeratedly. "Don't worry, I'll save you a spot right between me and Lukey to make it a real party."
Jack's nostrils flared at her mocking tone. "Real cute, Y/N," he bit out, fists clenching at his sides. He opened his mouth, surely to unleash another scathing retort, but then seemed to think better of it. With a frustrated huff, he spun on his heel and stormed away from the dock.
Y/N rolled her eyes at his petty tone. Luke watched him go with a confused furrow in his brow before turning back to Y/N with a low whistle. "Someone's got their boardshorts in a twist today. What was that all about?"
…
It was later in the night after y/n and Luke had separated, her figure was drenched in rain and the heels she had worn to the dinner were long discarded a few blocks ago now found their place back on her feet as she trudged forward.
Her ex's cruel actions lingered in her mind, fueling her steps as she navigated the winding streets, rain pelting down upon her with unrelenting force. With every drop that soaked through her clothes, she pushed forward, her resolve unyielding despite the storm raging both within and without.
Finally reaching the entrance of the apartment building, Y/N pushed through the heavy doors. The elevator ride felt like an eternity, each floor passing by in a blur as she ascended to Luke and Jack's floor. The doors slid open, Y/N stepped out into the familiar hallway, her footsteps echoing against the tiled floor.
Y/N hesitantly rapped her knuckles against the door. Doubts clouded her mind as she double-checked the house number, hoping she had found the right place amidst her emotional haze. After a few moments, she heard shuffling from inside, followed by the metallic creak of the door opening.
Jack's tired face emerged from the crack in the door, his eyes widening in surprise as he took in Y/N's disheveled appearance.
Meeting his gaze, Y/N felt a wave of emotions threatening to spill over. Tears welled in her eyes, betraying the turmoil within her. Jack's expression shifted from confusion to concern, mirroring her own tumultuous state.
Y/N stood before Jack, her hair damp from the rain, streaks of mascara running down her cheeks, and her eyes red from crying.
"Um, uh," Jack stammered, struggling to find his words in the face of Y/N's unexpected appearance. His voice wavered as he attempted to articulate his thoughts. "W-why are you... Are you okay?"
He opened the door wider, silently inviting Y/N into the warmth of the house. He stepped aside, allowing her to pass, his eyes following her every move with worry.
Y/N hesitated for a moment before stepping over the threshold, her eyes adjusting to the soft light within, her steps light against the wooden floorboards as she kicked off her heels. "Where's Luke?" she asked, a sniffle punctuating her words.
She glanced around, taking in the familiar surroundings with a mix of longing and uncertainty, her gaze finally settling on Jack.
Jack's gaze softened as he watched her, a pang of empathy tugging at his heartstrings. This was not the confident, vibrant Y/N he was accustomed to seeing.
"He's not here right now, but I can call him if—" Jack's words faltered as he took a hesitant step closer to Y/N, his gaze locking with hers.
"Can I ask you a question?" he inquired, his voice soft. “What happened?”
As Jack spoke, his eyes scanned Y/N's face, noticing the subtle details that spoke volumes about her ordeal. A red mark on her cheek, the telltale sign of a recent impact, caught his attention. His gaze flickered to her puffy eyes, evidence of the tears she had shed.
"I... I just... I thought we were just gonna talk things out," Y/N began, her voice trembling with emotion as she recounted the events.
Jack listened intently, his concern growing with each word she spoke. Taking a step closer, he instinctively searched for any other visible signs of harm that wasn’t visible to him yet.
"And when I told him I didn't wanna be with him, he attacked me," Y/N continued, her voice faltering.
Jack fell silent for a moment. "A-attacked you? He hurt you??" he repeated, his voice barely above a whisper, disbelief etched across his features. He took another step closer to Y/N, his hands reaching out to gently rest on her arms. "Are you hurt anywhere else? Did he hit you?"
His fists tightened involuntarily, as he fought to keep his emotions in check. Y/N gingerly peeled off the jacket she was wearing, revealing her bruised arms to Jack.
He studied the bruises, the urge to confront her ex simmered beneath the surface, but he knew that giving in to his anger wouldn't help Y/N in this moment.
“He did this to you…”
He backed away, pulling the jacket tighter around herself, he felt a pang of regret at the distance between them. “Jack please I just want to forgot about it. I didn’t mean to involve you in this.”
"Okay, let's get you cleaned up first," Jack suggested gently, his voice tender with concern as he took Y/N's hand and led her to the bathroom. Closing the door behind them, he made sure it was securely locked.
With utmost care, Jack guided Y/N through the process of washing up, his touch gentle and soothing as he helped her cleanse away the remnants of her ordeal.
“Thank you, Jack,” y/n whisper, voice barely audible over the running water. She watches him carefully squeeze out water from the washcloth. He comes closer to dab the cloth against her lips, then moves onto the leftover makeup.
With each stroke of the washcloth, he took a moment to appreciate the delicate curve of her lips, his gaze lingering for a heartbeat longer than necessary.
As he finished cleaning off her lips, Jack let the washcloth fall into the sink with a soft sigh. Meeting Y/N's gaze, he searched for any hint of what she needed next. "What should I do now?" she asked softly.
He hums in thought, wanting to give her a hug but the only thing that’s stopping him is the awkward tension between the two of them. He opens his mouth to speak, not quite sure on how to answer the question, but she beats him to it. “Can we just watch a movie?”
A buzz emanated from the countertop where Y/N's phone lay face down, a flicker of unease crossed her features. Before she could reach for it, Jack was already there, deftly flipping the phone around and declining the call with a swift movement.
“Your ex?”
Y/N nodded silently at Jack's question, confirming his suspicion. With a heavy sigh, Jack glanced down at the declined call notification, a pang of frustration coursing through him. Jack pocketed Y/N's phone, a silent vow to shield her from any more unwanted contact.
"I'll find something for you to wear." Turning away briefly, Jack rummaged through a nearby closet, searching for suitable attire.
After a moment, he returned with a soft sweater and a pair of comfortable sweatpants, offering them to Y/N with a reassuring smile. "Here, these should be more comfortable," he said, his tone gentle yet comforting.
As Y/N accepted the clothes, Jack couldn't help but notice the frown that tugged at her lips. With a gentle touch, he reached out to smooth down the wrinkled and wet fabric of her dress. She can smell the faint scent of Jacks cologne as it mixed with the scent of the laundry detergent.
Her confident movements drew Jack's gaze, his eyes tracing the graceful arc of her movements as she pulled her hair back into a bun and began to peel down the straps of her dress. For a moment, he stood frozen, his breath caught in his throat at the unexpected intimacy of the moment.
They locked eyes and y/n laughed lightly, her cheeks flushing with a rosy hue, Jack couldn't help but feel a warmth spread through him.
Chuckling softly in response, Jack's own cheeks tinted with a hint of color as he met Y/N's gaze trying really hard to not look down. “Woah- uh” he remarked playfully, his voice warm with affection.
The fabric pooled around her, the sleeves hanging past her hands, and she couldn't help but chuckle nervously at her own appearance. Jack forced a smile, his attempt to lighten the mood evident in the twinkle of his eyes. "Looks comfy!" he remarked with a chuckle.
With a grateful nod, she stepped further into the warmth of the apartment, the familiar scent of home enveloping her like a comforting embrace. her eyes were drawn to the soft glow of candles scattered around the space, the flickering flames danced in the dim light.
Jack closed the door behind him, his gaze lingering on Y/N as he noticed the subtle shift in her demeanor. With a gentle smile, Jack settled onto the couch, patting the seat beside him in invitation. "Come, sit," he urged softly.
couldn't help but feel a warmth spread through him as he watched Y/N get comfortable on the couch, wrapped snugly in the blanket he had provided. Her small form seemed to melt into the fabric, a picture of coziness amidst the expanse of the living room.
he turned on the TV show he had overheard Y/N mention liking, he couldn't resist stealing a glance at her. The small smile on her face tugged at his heartstrings, filling him with a sense of contentment that he hadn't felt in a while.
Y/N felt a prickling sensation on the back of her neck, she couldn't resist the urge to turn her head and meet Jack's gaze.
Caught in the act, Jack quickly averted his gaze from Y/N's direction, his heart racing slightly at the realization that she had noticed him staring. He forced a nonchalant expression onto his face and directed his attention towards the TV, pretending to be engrossed in the show playing on the screen.
A rush of embarrassment washed over him as he mentally scolded himself for his momentary lapse in composure. He should have known better than to let his gaze linger on Y/N for too long, especially given the circumstances.
Y/N watched with a mixture of amusement and exasperation as Jack forcibly averted his gaze, letting out an overly dramatic yawn in a sad attempt to play it cool. He sank back into the couch cushions, eyes determinedly fixed on the TV even as she caught the faint blush tingeing his cheeks.
Just then, the apartment door flew open with a bang as Luke came barreling in, nearly tripping over the shoe rack in his typical whirlwind entrance. "What'd I miss?" he boomed, obliviously taking in the awkward tension.
Jack visibly startled at his brother's abrupt arrival, cursing under his breath. Y/N had to stifle a giggle at the palpable mortification radiating off him now.
Poor guy just couldn't catch a break. "Nothing much, Wreck-It Ralph," she quipped, smirking at Luke. "Jack was just giving me a very passionate rendition of a yawn. Riveting stuff."
Jack shot her a murderous look, but she just winked back teasingly. There was something undeniably entertaining about getting under his skin like this.
Flopping onto the couch between them, Luke furrowed his brow in confusion. "Ooookay then. You two are being weirder than usual." His eyes bounced between their strained expressions before realization seemed to dawn. "Oh man, please don't tell me you two are screwing.”
As Jack grumbled inarticulately under his breath, Y/N flashed Luke an innocent look. "Me? Never." Her gaze slid sideways to meet Jack's stormy blue eyes, holding the contact for a heated moment before he huffed and looked pointedly away again. Y/N bit her lip to smother her laugh.
Oh yes, this was very fun indeed.
