This beautiful little being is commonly referred to as a Sea Angel. It is only 5 cm long. Its biological name is Pteropoda, which comes from the Greek language meaning "wing-foot". Sometimes, remembering that these otherworldly creatures co-exist with us on our blue planet can infuse a bit of hope, wonder and courage into our day. We just received an update from our board member @stacyrayeofsunshine who is over 150 miles into her fundraising trek along the PCT, that with the support of much community, she has raised $2,455 ($4,910 with the generous match from The Hiltz Family)!
