DIM 3X® is an all-natural estrogen metabolizer that helps men to balance their hormones for optimal physical performance. This product has been specially formulated to help men reduce their active estrogen levels.
There are four key ingredients in DIM 3X® - Vitamin E, DIM, Astragin, and BioPerine.
This combination of ingredients help men:
Lowers Estrogen Levels Supports Testosterone Production Blocks Aromatase Enzyme Boost Strength & Stamina Enhances Mood & Focus You see, DIM 3X® works by converting bad estrogen (2-hydroxyestrone) into good estrogen (16-alpha-hydroxy-estrone) metabolites.
By blocking the aromatase enzymes, it helps reduce testosterone from converting into estrogen, which is key for hormone balance.
DIM 3X® provides extra hormone support for optimal testosterone levels.
High estrogen levels can make a man feel drained, fat and miserable.
Thankfully, DIM 3X® is here to help men over age 40 with hormone issues. That's because studies show DIM could help reduce estrogen levels. And with the proper balance of estrogen you could improve your overall well-being.

Extremely modest trans guy with low libido and bottom dysmorphia so bad he’s never fucked and barely touches himself starts testosterone and suddenly gets such debilitating heat that he’s ordering increasingly bigger and stronger sex toys to try and satisfy himself. Getting off several times a day with toys in his ass and boy cunt while using a wand on his miserably hard tdick which is still not enough for him. While taking out his bedroom garbage which consists of several bottles of fully used lube he bumps into the trans girl who lives in the adjacent apartment. While talking she clocks the bottles sticking out the top of the garbage bag. Trans guy gets embarrassed as he reflects on how much time and money he’s spent on getting himself off in increasing slutty ways. Thinking of her knowing just what he gets up to should make him fill up with shame but instead he feels his heartbeat in his cunt as his dick throbs and his boxers get soaked.
“So that’s what all that noise was” she gets out before another neighbor joins the conversation. Trans guy finishes the chore and gets back to his room where he sits and catches his breath before being unable to resist the need to stroke his pulsating dick. He thinks about her mouth as she said those words. She was always so pretty and has such a fuckable mouth that his cock could slide right into. He feels his leaking cunt throb and imagines her pinning him down and fucking him until he was satisfied and full of her cum. He shudders at the thought, half in shame and half in needy excitement. After a moment of contemplation his needs take over and he continues to touch himself while sending her a message asking if she wants to see what she’s been hearing. Finishing the message with a hastily taken photo of his needy body. The message sends as he fills with dread. He can see she’s typing a response as he anxiously touches himself.
“Poor pup, I’ll make sure to help you with that stubborn heat of yours, see you in a moment. Make sure to keep the door unlocked for me love”
As he reads the words his body shakes and his fingers move just right over his hard dick. He lets out a stifled moan as he pathetically paints the inside of his pants with his cum which leaks and makes a mess on his floor. Even after cumming his body throbs in anticipation of the footsteps approaching his door undeterred by his former modest nature or what limited clarity he should have received from this orgasm. All he can think about is finally getting fucked like the dog he is.

is there anything that has happened since starting T that you didn't expect to happen? or that you feel you were not adequately informed about (by doctors, peers, etc), and that really should be more common knowledge?
that's such a great question, thank you for asking! that's a huge yes from me! here's what i experienced that i was definitely caught off guard by and not warned about that presented some challenges:
I was not told that because my body is changing, growing, and adjusting to a new balance in my endocrine system that i would be very exhausted for quite a while. i already have chronic fatigue but i basically struggled to get out of bed for about 2 weeks after starting T- i wasn't depressed, i was just exhausted. this is due to the fact that my muscles were becoming denser and rearranging themselves, my facial and body structure were changing, i was growing more hair, etc. that takes a lot of energy!
Similarly to the point above, no one told me that it would make you hungry as hell, and require you to eat a lot more. if you feel like you're "over eating" after just starting testosterone, you're probably not- your base caloric intake needs to increase because you are literally growing and changing, and also, high testosterone bodies tend to need more calories anyways
Body hair growth is ITCHY!!!! and sometimes even painful! growing hair in sensitive areas like your armpits, crotch and ass can be extremely uncomfortable if not painful at times. I've heard from even cis men who have told me that growing their ass hair was extremely painful and uncomfortable due to how that area is configured- if you find that hair growth is uncomfortable this is pretty normal, but always seek help if it becomes unbearable or you feel there are ingrown hairs. Also nose hair and ear hair become more of a thing, now
Testosterone will thicken your vocal cords and drop your voice, but you also have to teach yourself how to speak from your chest, or how to drop your voice to sit in a lower range naturally or else you will still sound pretty similar to your pre-transition voice, unless that is your goal. The effects are very strong, but many transmascs*, trans folk* etc. don't see as much change as they would if they also trained their voice at the same time while it's dropping
Your boobs will become flatter and sometimes smaller and a lot saggier. This is normal!
Whenever i re-start testosterone and when i started it for the first time, i had some pretty heavy menstrual periods for a while; sometimes your body reacts in the opposite way at first before totally stopping your periods altogether. it's almost like "rebound" symptom, if you know what that mean
Restless energy will very much become a thing, if you notice you're starting to get pissed off and can't place a finger on why you feel agitated and like you're going to explode, you might just need to do some physical activity for a while
that's all i could think of for now, but if i think of anything else, i'll be sure to add it to this post! thanks for asking, i hope this was informational! good luck out there in your journey!

I was typing a big long thing about the changes I've experienced in a year on testosterone and how it's affected me and all that and then tumblr ate it and I really don't feel like retyping that whole thing but I am kinda salty about it so tldr:
Starting testosterone has been the best thing for my health that I've done. Ever. Better than getting a service dog. Better than restructuring my life to cater to my disabilities. Better than any procedure or medication or otherwise that I've tried. Simply rubbing a pack of gel on my arm once a day has done more for me than anything else.
When I went to my endo to start T, I went with a suspicion that I am intersex. She confirmed it via blood test and told me that with my variation I could try two different things: estrogen to control my high levels of natural androgens, or testosterone to lower my estrogen further and make it stop arguing with my androgens about whether I'm supposed to be a boy or a girl, as it's that argument that was causing a significant portion of my health problems. Estrogen has been tried in the past and only made things worse. She told me it was my choice, and only I could choose my path forward, as I knew my body the best.
When TERFs have a fit about gender affirming care, they usually leave out people like me, or they brush my story aside by saying that I'm just an anomaly, or they claim for me and my demographic that we don't want to be part of this discussion. But I don't fit their definition of a woman- I have a testicle, and my natural testosterone was within normal range on the low end for a cisgender, perisex man, and enough male sexual partners have commented on what's in my pants to tell me that it's far from the picturesque womanly pussy, especially considering I can- and have- use it to penetrate with the help of devices designed for cis men who are a little lacking in length.
When TERFs have a fit about gender affirming care, they scaremonger about side effects and changes. But, I was already hairy. I was already growing facial hair. I already had atrophied- and by 30 to the point that it's not really possible to fix without significant medical intervention. I was already infertile. I already had an adam's apple and a deep voice. I already had belly fat and blood pressure problems. My menstrual cycle was already hellish and had interfered with my school and work schedules. A popped ovarian cyst sent me to the ER.
I'd tried no treatment. I'd tried estrogen-based solutions. These not only did not work but actively made things worse. I was fainting at school. I was calling out of work. I couldn't drive without my service dog. I couldn't go out and have fun with my friends. I spent days at a time laying in bed in too much pain to move.
TERFs say, gender affirming care turns you into a forever patient.
I already was one of those. I almost died when I was a baby strictly because of lack of access to care that accepts children who are born who are both and also neither from the womb, before anyone has a chance to develop a personality or understand the difference between a boy and a girl.
Testosterone has turned me into a "once every 3 months" patient instead of a "twice a month minimum" patient. I pay less than $15/month for my prescription and it's mailed to my house in three-month increments. Stopping my wildly irregular and incredibly painful menstrual cycle has increased my quality of life so much. My body doesn't ache for no reason anymore. I don't faint anymore. I can go out and do things and not be punished for it for days on end by fevers and chills and vertigo.
Don't let a handful of transphobic assholes scare you. If this is your way forward, then live your life to its fullest.
My only regret is that I didn't have the chance to do this sooner.

꒰⸝⸝₊⛓┊Jeff The Killer
Mentioned this before, but it's likely he misgenders and even deadnames you just for shits and giggles (that only he finds funny), until you genuinely get upset and guilt comes crawling in, making him quit it. He doesn't understand that his words carry a weight with them most of the time, so it's more out of debauchery than straight up malice, which is a little rich coming from him. Despite this, he feels like he's the only one who can disrespect you like that (in his own twisted mind, that is) and will not stand for anyone doing the same thing, his protectiveness and violent tendencies coming into play. The knife he carries around isn't just for show, afterall.
꒰⸝⸝₊⛓┊Ben Drowned
Doesn't care for gender or gender roles, which is a surprising level of maturity coming from someone that behaves like a pre teen boy most of the time. No matter how you dress or behave, he just sees you as a guy (even if you're in a dress and full makeup) cause that's what you are, no amount of femininity will change that fact for him, proposital or accidental. Doesn't even get mad when someone disrespects you in that regard, he just gets upset cause he straight up doesn't understand their prejudicial point of view, and just tells them to shut up in a flat voice, then ignoring any protest and moving his attention to you to ask if you're okay. Your comfort is of utmost importance to him.
꒰⸝⸝₊⛓┊Ticci Toby
Also mentioned this before, but since I headcanon Cody to be transmasc and them to be best friends, he's quite used to it. Plus, his compassionate and understanding nature wouldn't allow it to be any other way. Treats you with extra care and is extremely protective, just because he knows you already struggle a lot and he wants to make things easier for you. Makes you feel included by inviting you to hang out with him and the other boys in their so called "guys night out", which earned a eyebrow raise from Jeff but complete acceptance from the others. Will not tolerate any kind of funny business when it comes to this and is quick to verbally and physically threaten anyone who disrespects you.
꒰⸝⸝₊⛓┊Eyeless Jack
Approaches it more from a doctor's perspective than anything else, since otherwise he would feel a little awkward and is scared to accidently offend you since that's the last thing he wants. Offers to help you get started on T if you haven't already and tells you what to eat to help increase your testosterone levels. Super nice and respectful, just wants you to feel comfortable in your own skin. Like Toby, he's a little bit extra protective when it comes to you, but more often than not he just corrects people when you get misgendered by them. If they insist, he drags you away and leave the person talking to themselves, not willing to give them the time of day. Your comfort is more important than whatever stupidity is coming out of their mouth.
꒰⸝⸝₊⛓┊Laughing Jack
He's literally a ragdoll, I don't think he cares or understands gender all that much. If you say you're a guy, then so be it, he'll refer to and treat you as one no questions asked and no matter how you look or sound like. I believe he likes to sew, so he might make you a few outfits that better fit your taste to help you feel better about yourself if you're having a bad dysphoria day. Calls you "Handsome" pretty often as well. Doesn't understand the concept of transphobia, it just doesn't make sense in his mind, so he's more confused than anything if he ever sees someone misgendering you. When he notices you getting more and more genuinely upset, it kinda clicks that they're doing it out of malice. Big chance of them not coming out alive from this encounter.
꒰⸝⸝₊⛓┊Masky
My first instinct was to say he would be similar to Jeff, as usual, but considering the fact he was getting a liberal arts degree, I highly doubt it. At most raises an eyebrow if he ever sees you dressing more feminine, but never actually mentions it or disrespects you (in that regard, at least). Just be warned, since you're a man, he's going to treat you like one - bad side and all. No taking it easy on you during training or being chivalrous, if you're one of the guys, you're gonna get the same treatment. Despite all that, he's super quick to straight up point a fucking gun at anyone misgendering you, asking them to repeat themselves in a low and menacing tone.
꒰⸝⸝₊⛓┊Hoodie
Super lowkey with making sure you feel validated and included, doesn't want to be too in your face about it. Just small things like talking about how all the guys are together while you're in the room as well or a quick signed "Looking handsome" as you walk by. He just doesn't want to be too forceful and end up backfiring and making you uncomfortable, but he wants you to know he considers you one of the boys™ just as much as he does the others. Introduces you to singers he likes that are also trans, like Frances Forever or Awfultune, and might even play some of their songs on his guitar for you. Doesn't pay any attention to people misgendering you, just tries to steal your attention while leaving them to talk to themselves, that shit eating grin ever present on his face.
꒰⸝⸝₊⛓┊Nina The Killer
I'm sorry, but she's probably one of those "I always wanted to have a trans friend!" people. Not that she thinks you're just trans and nothing else, she does appreciate you for who you are as a person more than anything, but that's definitely her first thought. Super excited to have makeovers with you - she dresses you up super nicely (and emo) and is literally the embodiment of that one "Do you or do you not feel bonita?" audio, will not stop bugging you until you admit you feel handsome. Extremely passive aggressive with people who misgender you, going "Uhm, it's HE, actually" in a somewhat rude manner. If they insist you better hold her back or things might escalate.
꒰⸝⸝₊⛓┊Sally Williams
This little sweetie is so nice to you. Might misgender you at first on accident until you or someone else explain it to her, then she just nods all excited and starts calling you "Big bro Y/N". Gives you piles and piles of drawings that she makes of you, each with a variation of "Best bro ever" written as the header, and looks up at you seesawing on the soles of her foot, waiting for you to compliment her artistic abilities, to which she hugs your waist tightly when you do.

okay I want to preface this with: I am Against gender testing in sports, I believe this whole trans panic thing is transphobic/intersexist/racist/etc, and I support trans women and trans people in general being able to do sports.
With that out of the way, I feel like people just....get the facts straight up Wrong on so many levels with all of this. Ledecky would not beat (olympic level) men in any of the competitions she does. Here are the men's vs women's world records on some of the swimming events
100m Free: Mens 46.8 (Zhanle), Womens 51.71 (Sjöström)
1500m Free: Mens 14:30.67 (Finke), Womens 15:20.48 (Ledecky)
100m Butterfly: Mens 49.45 (Dressel), Womens 55.18 (Walsh)
100m Breaststroke: Mens 56.88 (Peaty), Womens 1:04.13 (King)
400m Medley: Mens 4:02.50 (Marchand), 4:24.38 (McIntosh)
The story is the same if you look up running times, walking times, jump heights, jump lengths, throws, skiing times, skating times, etc etc.
here's the gender gap in swimming race speeds and then track and field events over the last century (courtesy of buzzfeed)
As you can see, they get better over time, then plateau. While it's certainly possible they might come down to 0, I doubt it will be any time soon (Nature actually estimated in 2004 that they could become more equal by 2156 but that was assuming an increase over time that has since leveled off). Those slight humps are from before steroids and other drugs became more rigorously tested.
These of course include the intersex and high T perisex women who have competed and will continue to compete so it's not just to do with testosterone, there are obviously multiple factors.
Ledecky beating men was during practice, idk who she was practicing against (it was a comment made by a teammate and didnt say who the men were) but it wasn't phelps or any of the other top male swimmers. Then when you have things like shooting etc, the main reason that's segregated by gender is simply because more men are in the sport. If you have (numbers arbitrary) 1000 men wanting to compete and 100 women and you take the best of all of them, chances are you'll end up with 9 men and 1 woman. Segregating it by gender ensures 10 men 10 women.
Tennis and other things like that are harder to score up against each other since men tend to compete against men and women against women, except for the occasional m/f double match. But I think it's safe to say that with the evidence from power and speed differences from the above stats, men would likely beat women if you're comparing the top vs the top. Yes, even Serena Williams.
Once again, I am against gender testing. I am against the racist and transphobic shit you see in sports nowadays.
But it is simply untrue to say that Cis men and Cis women are on the same level when it comes to top sporting events. I am not saying women are weak or women are shitty and bad at sports I am literally just showing people the Correct numbers.
I do not know the answer to this. I do not know how trans people should be included without excluding others. I am neither an athlete nor a gender scientist.
However, I do know the rhetoric around this on this site is unhelpful given it's entirely based around incorrect facts (that in straight athletic competitions, cis men and cis women are at equal levels) and everyone that tries to say otherwise is either actually transphobic or gets dogpiled as Being transphobic even if they aren't.
(Also, this is just at the top of the top. When we're talking about highschool and Especially elementary school sports, trans kids should absolutely be allowed to play whatever team they want.)
#transgender#sports#oh boyyyy i may get obliterated for this#but seeing so many false posts and facts is making me Annoyed as Hell

i NEED you to elaborate on the body langauge shipping thing. any other ships you think would have likely had sex based off their physical familiarity in canon?
Body language says a lot about a relationship.
First I will talk about s3x. When two people have s3x, their brains release a series of chemicals. There are two notable substances released during s3x: dopamine and oxytocine. Dopamine is the "reward" that the brain gives us when we complete a certain task (if you surf tumblr, you will also have dopamine). Oxytocine is the love hormone, making you more connected to your partner. Oxytocine is also released when you have skinship with others, when you receive a gift from someone you love, when a mother gives birth to her child.
As I remember (maybe not right), the dopamine that the human brain secretes during s3x is equivalent to the dopamine released when inhaling drugs. And oxytocine also becomes extremely abundant and will make you crazy about your partner. HOWEVER, men usually have 10 times more testosterone than women, and testosterone has the ability to block oxytocine. Therefore, after s3x, women tend to bond with their partner (receiving both dopamine and oxytocine). But men only have a feeling of "accomplishment", because they get a lot of dopamine but the amount of oxytocine they get is very little.
The next factor I want to talk about is the rise and fall of testosterone. Testosterone is associated with vigilance. Regardless of whether you are male or female, if you are with someone you hate, your testosterone will be very high and you will tend to be aggressive. When we are with someone we are close to, our testosterone tends to decrease. That's why close friends who accidentally have s3x with each other often fall deeply in love. Their testosterone when they are together is very low. Therefore, the oxytocin they receive when having s3x with each other is much higher than when they have s3x with a partner who is not mentally bonded to them.
I talk a lot about s3x to point out a point: people who have feelings for each other and have had s3x will tend to stick together. The way they touch each other will be more natural and intimate without even knowing it. The closer their spiritual relationship is, the more connected they will feel during s3x (receiving more oxytocine). The more connected they feel during s3x, the deeper they love each other.
Return to France and England. Despite their conflicts, they are really close to each other. Some people tend to think that France and England just hate each other, but that's not the case. In fact, whether based on official or real life, we can clearly see that they admire each other. They are childhood friends, best friends, rivals, enemies. They took care of each other when the other is sick. They decided to stay together when the end of the world came. They always sit together in meetings. In my opinion, their testosterone increases when they fight, but when they are not fighting, they feel comfortable and at ease when they are with each other. According to official, their skinship is no longer simply "friends" or "rivals" anymore. France and England's skinship was abnormally abundant and unconsciously intimate, so much so that many people felt they had s3x with each other. And I guess, if they had s3x with each other, they would definitely love each other, and love each other more and more, not less.
Oh, there's one more thing I forgot to mention. When you are with someone long enough, sleep with that person, love that person, you will unconsciously imitate the expressions on that person's face. Couples who stick together will have faces that look more and more alike.
And you know, France and England's faces have very similar expressions.
2. I'll come to your second question: any other ships you think would have likely had sex based off their physical familiarity in canon?
Actually, I just saw such a deep connection in Dover. If I had to point out a ship that may have had s3x, Germany and Italy make me question a lot. But in my opinion, they still have a certain shyness in skinship with each other. Maybe they had s3x once or twice, but it was by accident. They decided to let it go and they were still confused about their actions and tried to act like normal with each other.
An opposite case to Dover and GerIta is AusHun. When I watched Hetalia, I had a very clear feeling that even though Roderich and Elisabeth were married, they had an extremely platonic relationship. I'm neutral towards this couple, so you can interpret their platonic relationship as platonic friendship or platonic love, depending on whether you ship them or not. I had a feeling that Roderich would not mention any s3xual acts during their marriage, nor would he take advantage of the Austro-Hungarian relationship to gain emotional or s3xual relations. He completely respects Elisabeth and Elisabeth admires him for it.
If their relationship progressed to a higher level, I think it would have happened after the Austro-Hungarian Empire disintegrated. Meaning IF (only IF) they actually have feelings and date each other, those things will happen after their divorce, not during their marriage.
Same married couple trope, but AusHun is not like Dover haha. I guess Francis and Arthur took each other's virginity when they were hormone-fueled boys curious about s3x. And they would sleep together any chance they got, and the Entente Cordiale was a very good chance. AusHun is not like that. Roderich and Elisabeth's relationship is much more dignified, respectful, and kind than Dover's whether they have love for each other or not.

Feminizing HRT Overview, Guide & Information for All People Seeking It
we also have a version of this post for testosterone/masculinizing HRT as well. we wanted to write a companion piece as many folks have asked about this. it has take a bit of time, but here we are!
The testosterone HRT post is here.
Getting Your Prescription
To start taking estrogen, you will need to find a general practitioner, family doctor, endocrinologist or informed consent clinic where you can discuss gender affirming care with knowledgeable staff. Planned Parenthood is a good option for many trans people in general. Your mental health may also be evaluated, and your heart health and screening for a few other health conditions, as well as having access to your family health history if possible will be required.
Check to see if you have medical insurance, either through your family, your job, or if you are low income, a program like medicaid. Search for low income insurance plans in your area if it is needed, many places offer insurance plans for those who can't afford care on their own.
Here is a map of informed consent HRT clinics in the US.
You will discuss any gender dysphoria, gender presentation needs, if you have a support network, how you are impacted by your gender in your every day life with your provider and so on before being given a prescription. You will only be given a prescription after you discuss the risks of HRT and are screened for possible health problems and diseases or ways your body could react negatively to HRT. If you have needle trauma or phobias and can't inject hormones, it's best to bring it up before you get your prescription to save time and confusion.
The Medications
Treatment typically starts with spironolactone (aldactone), an anti-androgen that blocks androgen receptors ("male" sex hormones) for a few weeks, and then add estrogen, but many folks start with spiro and estrogen at the same time. Spiro will lower the amount of testosterone your body makes. For some people, spiro isn't necessary at all!
Some forms of spironolactone are reported to make folks pee like crazy, others do not have as bad of a time with it. Your mileage will vary depending on manufacturer. Spironolactone is intended to be a blood pressure medication, meaning it is a diuretic and is intended to help your body flush out fluids + salt. You will need to keep yourself hydrated if you notice this effect, as well as increasing electrolyte intake where possible.
Estrogen also lowers how much testosterone your body makes, and triggers changes in the body that occur during puberty in afab & adjacent people. Estrogen can be taken several ways, and is usually taken daily, and several times a day. You can take it in a pill or shot, and several forms of estrogen that can be applied to the skin like creams, gels and patches.
Make sure you thoroughly sanitize the skin of any injection sites or areas you will be applying gel or patches. If you are given topical estrogen, make sure you wash your hands after application and do not have someone else apply it for you. Make sure you do not go swimming or shower within several hours of application to make sure your skin absorbs the hormone.
You may not need to take anti androgens if you are doing estrogen injections, depending on how effective the estrogen injections are for you. Some people may not end up needing anti-androgens at all, and may be able to skip that entirely as spiro has unwanted side effects. Your natural hormone levels will dictate whether or not it's necessary, but it is not necessary for everyone.
You may end up being recommended to switch from one form of estrogen to another as your transition progresses, depending on how your body responds.
It's recommended to not take estrogen as a pill if you have personal/family history of blood clots in a deep vein or in lungs (venous thrombosis).
Some people also end up taking progesterone as well alongside estrogen. Progesterone is typically taken to encourage breast tissue growth, as this is the most prominent effect of the hormone. If sufficient breast tissue growth isn't seen from estrogen alone, progesterone can be added to your regimen, though this is only done later on into treatment, around a year or so in.
If you choose injectable estrogen, make sure to listen to your provider and ask for instructions about how to use needles and syringes, as well as injection angles, how and where you'll be injecting. Do not inject in the exact same spot every time, this can prevent the issue from healing properly and create scar tissue or cause infections or skin tissue necrosis (death). You also need a sharps container to safely dispose of your needle tips. Never re-use a needle, even if it was used previously on yourself. Always ask the pharmacy if you need more needles. A lot of places let you get them in bulk.
If you are going the injection route, make sure you know whether or not you are instructed to do intramuscular or subcutaneous injections. Intramuscular injections usually taper out of the system more quickly and need to be done more frequently, where as many patients find subcutaneous injections less painful and easier as they can be done less frequently.
For more information on safe intramuscular or subcutaneous injection for estrogen, please read here.
Another option for feminizing HRT is to take gonadotropin-releasing hormone (Gn-RH) analogs. They lower the amount of testosterone your body makes and may allow you to take lower doses of estrogen without using Spiro. Gn-RH analogs are usually more expensive, but are an option if for whatever reason the conventional route can't work for you.
DON'T GIVE UP IF YOU DON'T SEE THE EFFECTS YOU WANT TO SEE RIGHT AWAY! Many of them can take a long time to develop, often times patience is the key. If you wait it out and still don't see the results you'd like, you can try another route. Don't give up, a lot of people get deterred in the early stage of transition, you'll get there with patience and communication.
Stay patient, stay positive!
What to Expect from Feminizing HRT
Less facial and body hair growth: typically happens 6 - 12 months after treatment starts. Full effects within ~3 years on average.
Slower scalp hair loss: begins 1 - 3 moths after treatment begins. Full effect between 1 - 2 years on average.
Softer, less oily skin, and changes in general skin texture: 3 - 6 months after treatment starts, full effects within 2 - 3 years on average
Rounder, softer features including face and body, and more body fat: 3 - 6 months after treatment starts, full effects in 2 - 5 years.
Breast development: begins 3 - 6 months after treatment starts, full effects within 2 - 5 years on average or more, according to medical studies, but it can vary wildly from person to person, give dosage and hormones taken. If desired effects are not seen, progesterone can be taken alongside estrogen to help after around one year on estrogen. When breast growth begins, it starts with hard lumps under the nipples along with some soreness and itchiness. Some have sore breasts for a long time, and some may get scared and think they have cancer during this stage. Breasts will be swollen and tender for good while, and nipples may be especially sensitive to even light touch.
Reduced muscle mass/density: 3 - 6 months after treatment starts, full effect in 1 - 2 years on average
Potential decrease in libido if on estrogen alone, though not guaranteed: If it happens, it's generally within 1 - 3 months in and can last a while, but may even out over time
Fewer erections, decreased ejaculate volume, and erections that can become painful or uncomfortable if frequent erections are not maintained. This begins 1 - 3 months after treatment starts, and the full effect is within 3 - 6 months. Regularly maintaining erections and frequent ejaculation can ease some of these uncomfortable feelings in some people.
Changes in how orgasms feel, changes in texture and degree of sensation of penis and scrotum skin as well as changes in body odor: typically begins within 3 - 6 months, though it varies from person to person. Often times the way one's body responds to orgasms completely changes, many people find themselves experiencing full-body orgasms and more intense erogenous zones elsewhere in the body other than the genitals.
Smaller testicles, or testicular atrophy happens within 3 - 6 months and the full effects are usually seen within 2 - 3 years.
Increase in size of bladder and decrease in size of prostate over time which can lead to making one's gspot harder to find, and make prostate examinations more difficult, though they are still vital, as prostate cancer is still a possible factor.
Potential mood fluctuations while adjusting to the hormones, many report increased crying and sadness during the first 3 - 6 months with this tapering off after a full year at most.
Increased fatigue while adjusting to the hormones, sleepiness and becoming easily exhausted are common reports. This can vary drastically from person to person, ymmv.
If you have testicles and choose to have them removed, you may need to take testosterone as well as estrogen in order to have a healthy endocrine system. You will need to discuss the effects of this with your specialists if you want to go this route. If your androgen levels get too low because your body cannot synthesize enough testosterone after bottom surgery, you may need additional medication.
Potential infertility, though this is not a guarantee, and safe sex should still be practiced at all times. No timeline projected though the longer one is on E the more likely it becomes.
Monthly cycles akin to menstrual cycles: these are not present in everyone, but many people report entering a cycle of extreme fatigue, body aches, abdominal cramping in the approximate area where a uterus would sit, headaches, and more for around the duration of a menstrual cycle (4 - 10 days on average).
Progesterone inversely to estrogen can cause an increase in libido in most who take it, and is the primary hormone used for breast growth. Lactation may also occur while taking prog, if this happens, talk to your doctor right away.
Keep track of your progress when and where you are able, and don't be afraid to bring up any concerns you may have with your professionals or trans friends, or any other trans resource. Your transition is in your hands and you're allowed to modify it as you see fit. If you do not see the effects you want from traditional HRT, you may be able to seek the Gn-RH route, and if you aren't seeing the results you want from just estrogen, progesterone might be of use to you.
You will need to keep an eye on your bone health as high levels of estrogens can increase your chance to develop osteoporosis, and potential new cancers like breast cancer may arise, as well as heart problems. Getting checkups as frequently as possible and communicating with your doctor/s will be of great use when and where possible
Either way, we hope this helps in some way! We will add to it as we find/think of more information. Good luck to everyone seeking feminizing HRT, you deserve to look and feel like yourselves!

re: love lies bleeding... i could be wrong but isn't there a difference between the type of steroids jackie was taking and testosterone? i assumed the increasing violence was due to steroid psychosis.
There mostly isn't! The main difference between "juicing"/bodybuilding steroid use and TRT or HRT is mostly just dose and frequency it is being taken. The brands might be different between medical vs recreational use, and some people take compounds that include things like growth hormone or other stuff, but "Anabolic steroid" doesn't mean "bad and used for bodybuilding", it means "hormone that mimics androgens". Link for WebMD overview of anabolic steroids
This is one of the reasons why trans men face issues when wanting to compete in "natural" strength/bodybuilding sports (not to mention, of course, the exclusion of trans women). USA Powerlifting does not specifically ban trans men from competing in the male division, but it bans any and all TRT, with no medical exemption available to anyone, which is effectively the same as banning both trans and cis men with medical conditions that require them to be taking testosterone.
Testosterone replacement therapy's (TRT) goal is to maintain the body's testosterone within a defined medical range. Cis and trans people of all kinds can be prescribed TRT for various medical reasons (post-menopause, being trans, erectile dysfunction, etc). People who use steroids for bodybuilding are blowing right past that defined medical range -- an example is you may see a cis man on TRT with a dose of maybe 0.25mg/week on the low end with the "average" being around 100mg/week. The dose is raised and lowered to maintain the body's T levels within the healthy medical range/the individual's transition goals.
A man using T for a higher performance in strength/bodybuilding sports is likely to be on way, way higher doses, 200-400mg/week or more, and may be taking T in "cycles" specifically intended to promote muscle growth, versus being on it consistently. There are material health risks associated with these high doses but it's not inherently the substance they are using, it is just the dose.
A woman like Jackie is probably going to be on significantly LOWER dose, even for recreational bodybuilding, because women who engage in steroids for muscle growth are usually not looking for the other masculinization side effects of T, so will necessarily want to stay below the TRT levels typically used by both cis and trans men. I mean, this movie takes place in the 80's so they were probably not using modern medical science because it was the 80's, but the reality that a "juiced" woman would probably want to avoid the normal effects of the average T dose remains true because most women body builders regardless of time period are not looking to transition to a T dominant hormone system. link to reddit thread i found
Steroid psycosis does exist, and "roid range" is a known side effect of any kind of steroids -- including non-sex-hormone steroids like dexamethazone. Just go into a children's cancer ward and you will see that steroids will absolutely impact a person's emotional stability on like, a temporary basis. Go on any r/ftm forum and you will see some people having increased irritability as a result of their bodies adjusting to a different hormone system, with much rarer cases of significant emotional challenges. But my critique isn't necessarily to say that it is like, beyond the imagination/too unrealistic, because it's a horror movie and those are rarely realistic. Exaggeration is the name of the game there. Like I said in my original post, it's not that I hate the movie, I'm just THINKING about the movie and how this aspect of the plot landed badly, for me. In this day& age did we have to make the big tall muscle woman w high T also be a crazy violent killer. We exist in the context of all that came b--(im taken out by another sniper)
Anyway. I hope that answers your question now where is that large hook. I need to be dragged off stage immediately before I write another 1000 words on
#ask#anon#media blogging#to be doubly clear i dont hate the movie. just things to think about. im digesting the movie.#injection mention cw i think#anatomy#ish

In a not hot day, or even in winter, how you can keep making your feet/socks stinky and smelly? what's the best way to keep your feet/socks stinky 247? My feet has no smell naturally, so it's very hard to get some smell on them
The answer is quite simple: alpha males with a high level of testosterone have naturally sweaty and stinky feet, which attract beta males. Betas with low levels of testosterone can increase foot smell by wearing unbreathable footwear, but it will attract no one, not even the flies. For beta males it is better to accept their fate and worship alpha males feet and sox

(( Commission from the incredibly talented ArtReplicant )) Shawn let Marc's hands drop from around his face and fall to the mat. He let his elbow then dig into Marc's pecs as he grinned and slowly got him self up to his knees. Marc groaned in pain as Shawn's elbow pressed into his very tender pecs. Shawn then rolled Marc over to his stomach and sat on the small of Marc's back. Marc was in too much pain to resist. Shawn then leaned forward and grabbed Marc by the air and pulled him back enough to be able to grab his jawline. Marc's back radiated pain as it was bent backwards while Shawn was sitting on top of him. Marc groaned in agony as the back started to bend. Before Marc could support himself with his hands, Shawn locked Marc's arms next to his body with a body scissors. Shawn squeezed tightly using his legs as vise grips to crush the sides of Marc. Marc's groans turned to cries of pain as the back and sides were being assaulted. "The pain has only begun, asshole. You refused to admit I owned your ass, so now I will make it so unbearable you will be begging me to release you. You will wish you submitted earlier." Shawn continued to pull on the jawline of Marc increasing the pressure on his back. Marc tried his best not to cry out more, but could not contain his pain. "Yes! Cry you little bastard! Cry like the cub you are!" Shawn smile widely as he bent Marc back slowly and methodically. He knew the pain would rise and fall as the positions held and changed. He chuckled as Marc cried out in agony. "We're just getting started..." Shawn had Marc all the way back to his chest. Shawn looked down at Marc and smiled, "Enjoy your demise..." Shawn used his left arm to force Marc under his armpit and locked in a modified dragon sleeper cranking Marc's neck back on top of the back. Marc was smothered in Shawn's hairy pit. His nose and mouth were directly in the center as Shawn's bicep flexed and pushed on the side of Marc's head. Subjected to the mixed smell of sweat, testosterone, and natural odor, Marc started to gag. Shawn's pit hair was dripping sweat into his nose and mouth. The body heat from a long match radiated over his head. Shawn's sweat the side of his pecs rubbed onto Marc's face. After locking in the modified dragon sleeper, Shawn now locked down everything in the hold. The body scissors crushed Marc's sides of his torso and arms. The sleeper pulled his back far beyond normal means and Marc's neck was cranked far back. Pain soared through Marc's body. His cries of agony became screams of sheer pain that were muffled by the smothering pit. Shawn Sat back and flexed his right bicep smiling smugly with his eyes closed as he tortured Marc. "FFFUUAAAAAACCCCKKKKK!!!!! I SUBMIT!" Marc finally cried out in agony and pain while being smothered by Shawn's pit. Shawn looked down and demanded, "Say it!" "FUCK! SHAWN. YOU. OWN. ME! FFUUUUAAAAAACCCCCKKKKKKKK!!!!!!!!!!!"

if you're thinking of going to the gym to build a broader, muscular physique, here is a long post of random tips from a cis gym girlie!!!
disclaimer: these tips are from the experience of a cis femme queer woman who has been going to the gym for the past 5 years, and hyperfixates on weight training. i am in no way a certified personal trainer or dietician, and i do not have the knowledge to train with chronic pain or disabilities. i personally deal with some chronic pain and impinged joints that i have tips for, but that is not the purpose of this post! these tips are also more applicable for able-bodied cis women, and non-binary/genderfluid/bigender/gnc/trans folks with naturally lower levels of testosterone, who are beginners in weight training (0-12 months of going to the gym)
table of content:
know your goals
eat more protein
lift weights and progressively overload to build muscle
compound exercises is your bestie. isolation and isometric exercises are good company to keep
your diet determines 90% of your physique or wtv they say
you belong in the gym and don't let anyone tell you otherwise
it's common to have body dysmorphia, even at a level where you're jacked af. feel it, understand it, and be curious about where it is coming from
extra stuff
***
1. know your goals!
for the purpose of this post we are going to assume the goal is to gain serious muscle!
this means your workout will focus on either strength or mass
strength: heavy weight x low reps, means being able to carry the heaviest weight possible, at lower repetitions. think 60kg bench press at 4 reps
this builds immense strength, leaner size, and is the way strongmen/women and powerlifters train
that also means denser, stronger muscles, which will take a longer time to regress
mass: mid weights x mid reps, means carrying a challenging enough weight to go at higher repetitions. think 30kg bench press at 12 reps
this builds muscle mass and good strength, and is the way bodybuilders train
this is more time consuming than the first option, but goes hard on that beefy aesthetic
to build dense strong muscles, go for 3 sets, 3-5 reps per exercise
to build bigger muscles, go for 4-5 sets, 8-15 reps per exercise
please understand that muscles are heavier than fat. if you start weight training and notice your weight increase, but your physique stays the same/gets leaner, you're likely gaining a lot of muscle weight, which is a very good thing!
if you want a capped delts, fat biceps and wing lats, focus on upper body and core workouts
if you wanna get that peach booty, tree trunk thighs, and sculpted calves, focus on lower body and core workouts
if you want an 'X' taper, go for a full body workout
you can split your workouts by body parts (upper, core, back, legs), or by push and pull, to begin with
2. eat more protein!
depending on where you live and your available food options, you're likely not getting enough daily protein intake
when you lift weights, you tear your muscles (in a good way) so it can rebuild stronger for the next time you stress them out. protein helps you rebuild those 'damaged' muscles
it also keeps you satiated for longer - protein takes a longer time to digest
if you're vegan/vegetarian, opt for protein rich food like tofu, tempeh, soy products, legumes, chickpeas, etc.
if you struggle to eat enough protein, get protein powders to reach that daily intake
whey protein contains dairy. pea protein for vegans and lactose intolerant girlies
you can take protein powder with many types of food/liquids. i personally eat proats (mixing protein powder into cooked rolled oats) for breakfast.
aim for 0.8g - 1g per pound or 1.6g - 2.2g per kilo i.e. if you weigh 50kgs, aim for 110g daily protein intake for muscle growth
you don't need to eat your protein at like 30 mins before or after a session etc. as long as you have a consistent daily intake you're good
but! don't overload with protein in one sitting. space out your protein consumption throughout the day otherwise your body can't effectively absorb it all and it'll just go to waste
3. lift weights and progressively overload to build muscle
body weight exercises are good to start off, but if you want to build muscle, you need to start adding resistance to your training
that means periodically increasing the amount of weights you lift, to increase the challenge your muscle takes
being able to perform movements with heavier weights than before is also a good indicator that you're getting stronger!
if you're squatting body weight this week, try with 2kg dumbbells next week. then 5kg the next, 7kg the next, 10kg the next, and so on.
at a certain point it'll take longer to increase your weights. think taking 4 weeks to go from 100kg squats to 110kg
some bodies aren't able to tolerate higher weights (injury, chronic pain, genetic), so instead, add variations - instead of increasing to 20 push ups, try 10 push ups with your feet elevated
4. compound exercises is your bestie. isolation and isometric exercises are good company to keep
compound exercises work more than just one muscle group/one group of joints - these require multiple parts of your body to move in sync, to perform it correctly
compound movements are also functional movements. think being able to safely pick up a heavy box off the floor, storing your luggage in the overhead compartment, carrying your groceries in one go, carrying your wife to bed
deadlifts, squats, bench press, pull ups, overhead press, rows, push ups, lunges, and farmers carry are good basic compound movements to start with
once you're familiar with those, you can try variations like romanian deadlifts, sumo squats, chest press, chin ups, cable rows, push up plus, split squats to make it more challenging
isolation movements, such as bicep curls, knee extensions, crunches, etc. works mainly one muscle group/requires movement from one group of joints
for example, squats (compound) require you to move your hip joints and knee joints. knee extension (isolation) moves only knee joints. squats mainly work your glutes, quads, and core, while knee extensions mainly target your quads.
isolation movements are good for strengthening a specific muscle group, especially after an injury or specific weakness (isolation calf exercises to strengthen ankles), or for aesthetic purposes (fat biceps)
isometric exercises require you to contract your muscles without much movement. these are good for endurance and bracing.
planking is an isometric exercise. it's a very good exercise to stabilise your core, which is very good for injury prevention, and protects your spine from overextending
a strong, stable core is crucial to performing compound exercises and many daily movements safely
honestly muscle building is basically injury prevention if you do it right. you also get a strong physique, as a treat
keep your movements slow and controlled - focus on activating the muscle group that the exercise is intended for
quality movements = better muscle activation = efficient muscle growth
rushing through an exercise could result in injury, or compensating using the wrong muscle group or joints (ie. using your knees instead of your quads and glutes for squats)
5. your diet determines 90% of your physique or wtv they say
your muscles need protein to grow, and your body needs fuel to move. body fuel: carbs, fat, and protein
carbs are not your enemy!! fat is not your enemy!! not in excess!!
no food is bad or junk food. some foods are more nutritionally dense than others but at the end of the day, eating something diet culture deems 'unhealthy' is better than starving yourself
you can eat anything you want - the key is moderation
if you love sugary drinks, instead of drinking 5 cans of soda a day, drink only one (moderation)
if you love bread (like i do), have something else with that bread like tuna, peanut butter, lettuce, an egg, etc. (variety of nutrients)
if you love chips, have one serving a day, instead of the whole bag in one sitting
if you want to have visible muscles (read: abs) you need to go on a calorie deficit (cutting) - that means eating 200-500 less calories than your daily calorie need. you will likely loose strength and muscle mass
if you want to have strength and mass, and don't mind a bit of body fat, you can go for calorie surplus (bulking) - that means eating 200 - 500 more calories than your daily need
you can gain muscle and lose fat the same time
use this calculator to determine your calorie intake needs for cutting, maintaining, and bulking
you can also use the app 'calorie counter by fatsecret' (ios / android) to track your calories (but not too strictly! don't go down that slippery slope of obsessing over your every macro/micronutrient intake please!!!)
please remember that everyone's fat distribution is different - some people might not store much fat in their abdominal area, some might store more in their underarm area, etc. your genetics will determine where your body fat is distributed, which will affect your physique
emotional eating happens. cravings happen. binge eating happens. forgetting to eat happens. not feeling like eating happens. it's important not to associate guilt when it does - it's okay if you deviate from your usual eating routine. you can try again tomorrow
i've had a decent relationship with food my whole life, so i can't talk much about eating disorders or recovering from it, although you can watch leanbeefpatty's take on how to stop emotional eating, and her eating mentality (mostly intuitive eating) - she overcame ED in her youth
your body doesn't change much because you ate more/less than your target calorie intake for the day. changes in the body is gradual when it comes to body composition (fat distribution, muscle growth)
staying consistent is good. allowing yourself to deviate is also good. many of us aren't built to stick to something 100% all the time
most days can be 95%, some days 68%, some even at 23%. allow yourself those less than ideal days, so that you can go back to 95% most days. the key is going for as many 95% days possible, not a handful of 100%
6. you belong in the gym and don't let anyone tell you otherwise
you paid for the gym membership, just like everyone else. you have every right to be there, and use any and every equipment the gym provides
so what if you're starting with light weights? your starting weight is not your final weight
that means you also belong in the free weight/dumbbell section. take up space (respectfully) and don't be apologetic about it
don't be afraid to use the machines! they usually have instructions on the side. start off with the lowest weight, and go through the motion to familiarise yourself with it
it's okay if you don't know what you're doing at first - the gym is the place for you to figure it out
'what if they are looking at me' most people at the gym are busy focusing on themselves. they likely don't notice you most of the time
i would usually avoid eye contact, and look at either the floor, the ceiling, the wall, or the distance, so i don't notice if anyone is looking at me
if the gym is still intimidating, go with a friend! bring your headphones! drown out the world!
honestly i treat going to the gym as one large body double. having other people working out together helps keep me accountable to my own workouts. especially if my gym crush(es) is/are around
7. it's common to have body dysmorphia, even at a level where you're jacked af. feel it, understand it, and be curious about where it is coming from
i don't have any tips on managing body dysmorphia bc it is so personal and unique to each person
all i can talk about is what personally worked for me
which was focusing on getting stronger, instead of looking leaner
because when you get stronger, your body WILL change. the physique will come
but the physique that comes might not be what you'd expect - many times you've not seen how your body looks like when you get stronger
you might only see examples of strong bodies from media (who usually have really good genetics in the muscle building area), or other people at the gym
no two bodies are the exact same. if you dream of having xxx's physique, that isn't going to happen
but what you can dream of is having your strongest physique, which is unique to you, belongs to you, and will happen to you
remember, your ideal body type is the one you have now
you can set goals and have role models, but please please please do not make your role models your goal
i still struggle with bd, but it is much much better than before. i actually like looking at my body a large large majority of the time
for the femme girlies, if you want to get a muscular physique but are afraid of people calling you 'masc' or that you 'look like a man' fuck that noise. lift heavier, get jacked, become the muscle mommy your inner child would be proud of
8. extra stuff
if you're a cis woman or someone with naturally lower levels of testosterone, you won't get very, very muscular
you can get really strong (and with the right training, diet, and genetics, stronger than most cis men), but please don't compare your strength and size to someone who has higher levels of testosterone, naturally or through HRT or steroids
testosterone WILL help a person get very muscular and very strong, with lower levels of body fat. if you have lower levels of T, muscle size is limited, and body fat distribution is different. you likely store fat much easier too
please don't compare yourself with other folks with naturally lower levels of testosterone either - each person has different genetics, and some people are naturally stronger/bulkier than others, or have been lifting longer/more often
please don't be shy - look at the mirror when you work out and CHECK YOUR FORM. If your knees are buckling during your squats, you need to push them outwards or use lighter weights before you break your legs
if you have preexisting pain or are recovering from an injury, please get a personal trainer to help you create a custom training programme suited for your condition
if you experience acute pain while working out, stop what you're doing, ice it, see a physical therapist, and get that fixed. don't soldier on with the pain and make it worse. trust me!!
if you're just starting out, and have been experiencing common sedentary pains like lower back pain, take it easy, stretch, and get a personal trainer to build you a custom programme. im serious
always, ALWAYS warm up before a work out, and stretch after.
do dynamic warm ups before, and static stretching after
mind muscle connection is very important in weight training
focus on how your muscle is contracting and stretching, how your joints move, how everything comes together to help you balance and move something heavy around
i don't experience it personally, but i know many queer folks who are very disconnected with their bodies
i do not have any tips for that unfortunately
getting enough sleep is very important in building muscle - muscles recover and grow when you're sleeping/resting, not in the gym, not in the kitchen
again, the gym breaks down your muscles, the kitchen gives them the nutrients to rebuild, and the bedroom kick starts the actual process of recovery
remember that building muscle will take time. it doesn't happen overnight, nor does it happen in a week, a month, maybe even a year if you're inconsistent
it might take years to get to where you want to be. it's going to be a difficult journey, but it'll be worth it i think
show up, stay consistent, stay strong, and stay focused
but don't forget to rest and be kind to yourself - you don't need to push if you really can't do it
skipping one workout every once in a while, is a small blip in a lifetime of sessions.
a bad workout session doesn't determine the quality of all your workouts
truly once you start and see results, you will be amazed at what your body can achieve
a free resource that helped me kick start my fitness journey, and knowledge on weight training throughout the years, is nerdfitness. most recently leanbeefpatty for helpful tips, motivation, and entertainment
hope this helps someone in some way!
