Fredrinn.

Every special event was fun with him, because he always has something to amuse you and never let the moment go boring for the two of you. Be it presents, seeing different places and eating all kinds of food, plus having him by your side as your personal furnace and wallet.

The weather wasn't that cold but Fredrinn insisted that you should take his huge ass warm jacket. The two of you nearly did everything, building snowman, making snow angels even play snowball.

"I got you I got you."

Fredrinn chuckled as he lifted you up by your armpits, through this act of kindness, his eyes glinted with mischief. Smirking slightly and thanks that you can't see the growing smirk on his face, his eyes went between you and that big snow pile in front of him, taking ever slow steps towards to it.

Before you can even realise what's he's going to do you, you were thrown into the snow pile, a deep snow pile that is. But, who would have thought it was that deep when everything was silent for some seconds after he had thrown you into it.

Fredrinn blinked twice before taking steps towards to the snow pile and bending slightly to look over it.

"oops.."

Natan.

Time seemed to be the main problem when you were with Natan. He was always, always busy everyday, every second. Due to him often being in the Future or Past, going back and through, of course he would miss the special events, even confuse the days, months and years.

Natan's lips curved into a small smile after seeing you put hot chocolate on the table, his eyes moving up to meets yours.

"Thank you darling."

His fingers slowly yet gently grabbing the cup and raising it over to his lips and taking a sip, his eyes wandered to window, seeing that it's snowing. He raised his brow in slight confusion, putting the cup down onto the table and turning his head to you only to see you looking out to window smiling.

"It's..snowing?"

It was your turn to raise your brow in confusion.

"Yes it is, it's Christmas remember?"

Natan took a step back in his mind, actually, taking two steps back. His mind, full of questions.

With a nervous smile and a sweat drop, he asked whispering.

"I- ...I thought we were in...march..?"

Aamon.

Never a special event was skipped in the Paxley Household, every one of it was celebrated with great care and attention. Aamon was never late to celebrate it with you, always being on the time, earl if possible, with so much presents with him. Today though, seemed to be different.

Normally, Paxley Household would hire a big place to celebrate the special events, therefore you stayed in the Paxley mansion to wait for Aamon. Despite your waiting for your beloved to return, he wouldn't come till it's midnight, I should congratulate you for your patience.

Aamon grunted slightly as he slowly cracked his neck, he was tired after running back and forth, Cici was hard to look after. Always getting on trouble and getting on the nerves of the guards. He walked through the cold and snowy streets, his breath came out as a steam, he shook his head and continued to walk.

In the Paxley Mansion, you had already moved to both of yours shared room. The clock nearly showing midnight, waiting for him really did tired you out, so moving to warm bed really did seemed like a nice option..

Aamon finally managed to reach, even if he's late he came to you, only to find you asleep in the huge bed. He chucked breathlessly, finally taking the present off behind him that he got from Cici's performance, something that he's sure you'd like.

He didn't had the heart to wake you up, instead, choosing to slide next to you in the bed. Slightly sighing pleasantly at how much you warmed the bed bu yourself, he slowly yet gently, sneaked his arm around you and pulled you into his chest.

"Do forgive me...I couldn't came to you on time.."

I currently have a paper cut rn and I just thought of this;

Imagine Natan being so adamant about taking care of a small cut on your finger. He's a bit pushy about it but only because, in his words; 'Who knows what catastrophe would happen? What if you caught an incurable sickness in the near future? I will not take that chance.'

Lunox and Belerick are very concerned for him. This is basically the living embodiment of chaos and you, a mere human, are WIELDING it like it's a breakfast fork.

But when they see how powerful it is, they also have a determination to keep it in Natan's hands. They'll find a way to deal with it after they defeat the Abyss. IF they defeat the Abyss.

They're determined NOT to let it fall into the Abyss. It's a horrifying power that needs constant guardianship.

Belerick sort of empathizes with it. It radiates a melancholic energy within all that chaos and he's discovered that wrapping it up in lotus flowers soothes energy fluctuations on it rapidly and effectively.

Lunox is very careful with it as its energy fluctuations are very random. She also takes care of it when Natan needs a break.

NOW YVE

Oh no.

She is not liking this at all.

Zhask is dead by his own will and that frustrates her slightly because it's not her who's killed him off. But also HE'S STILL SORT OF ALIVE?? IN HIS STAFF??

She's burst in to the Eruditio and confronted Natan about it. But when he tells her that it may be one of their only hopes to win against the Abyss, she begrudgingly agrees to let him keep it.

Natan's sitting at his study desk, reading reports and planning their next course of action. The Abyss has been strong but with their recent acquiry of the Domorey-Zhask staff in his hands, they're pushed back quite a bit. Still, this was no time to celebrate.

On his lap is a Little Spawn, but it looks a lot more like Zhask. It's sleeping, maybe snoring a bit.

Natan smiles. He strokes the sensitive horns of Little Spawn. It immediately jumps into a defensive position, but once it notices Natan it relaxes again.

"Come little one. I'll give you a treat."

Its eyes light up, despite how sad they look. Natan rises from his chair and it bounds off, looking at Natan expectantly.

Natan moves over to a jar of treats Lunox and Belerick have prepared for it. He opens the jar and pulls out a star-shaped cookie. He puts it on the floor, much to the excitement of the Little Spawn.

Just then, they notice something... feels off.

The door slams open. And in its place is a very furious Astrowarden.

"YOU."

The Little Spawn panics and shivers, squeaking and hiding behind Natan's legs. Natan turns towards the figure.

"You're Yve, aren't you?"

"Zhask is supposed to be DEAD. Then WHAT IS THIS?"

She points to the Little Spawn, who popped its little head out to pull back the cookie Natan gave it. She makes a move to manipulate reality and grab it but Natan covers it with a defiant stamp of his foot.

"And what do you have against him?"

"I am the protector of the equilibrium. Zhask has been in my way for light years. I don't want YOU to be in my way either."

Natan glares at her. "I assume you claim him to still desecrate your 'perfect' equilibrium, despite his death. If that is the case, then look at him."

The Little Spawn is shivering in fear. It definitely remembers Yve.

"And look at us." Natan points to the map he was working on.

"I do not care for your mere trifles. You are nothing in my view."

"If the Abyss has his hands on him, there may not even BE an equilibrium."

"Then give him to me now. I will make sure that there isn't even a chance for him to fall into the wrong hands."

The Little Spawn nips Natan on the leg. It's afraid. Terrified. Pleading with him to protect it.

Natan covers it. "No."

Yve approaches him, fury in her voice. "Give. It. To. Me."

"He and Domorey are connected together. If one dies, the other will wreak havoc. You couldn't even contain Zhask in life, so what makes you think you could contain a fusion of him AND Domorey in death?"

Before Yve could make a move, Natan continues.

"When and if we win this war, or when and if we lose, either way we'll let you do whatever you want with him. Just not now."

He crouches down to further protect Little Spawn.

"And now, we need him more than ever. If we win the war, you'll be able to deal with him in peace. If we lose, you'll have to deal with the Abyss. And they're not as merciful as us."

Yve stares at the two. She begrudgingly admits defeat after considerable thinking.

But before she flickers out the door, she leaves behind one final message: "Do not regret your words and actions, when they come to bite you in the back."

When she leaves, Natan turns back to Little Spawn. Its cookie is only a third eaten. It's looking up at him with fearful eyes.

Natan holds it in his arms.

"I never promised her anything, but to you I'll promise.. I'll never let her have you."

"Even if it means killing everyone in this universe... and then myself."

Natan would be one to correct you when you make a mistake on something. Not in a mean way, though!

He genuinely likes to educate you and make you explore a lot more than what you want. Only if you want that, of course.

Body worship king. Literally making you feel like the most loved person in the entire world.

Expect good night kisses after he comes back late from a conference, don't blame him though. He's too brainstormed to say anything! And he thinks that action that will comfort you, which it does.

But, even if he's tired. It's rest assured that you're greeted with the best morning meal that you'll get obsessed with if he comes home late a lot more. One thing about him and cooking, he's horrible at counting the time when baking a cake.

He's definitely the type to bring you into his workstation and show you all of his amazing inventions— He even showed you the hidden time machine he had invented, but hadn't shown off.

Expect warm baths together if you and him woke up early. Both of you need to rest, and that resting will be spent together.

Doesn't know how to initiate kisses, but one thing he does; Is that he cooks your favorite food, because you always give him a passionate kiss if he does that.

One secret he had; He thought that love was a waste of time. But after getting used to your relationship, he realized it was ridiculous.

After a long day of hoping to just go back to your comfortable, shared bed. You finally got the permission, given to you by your superior for you to leave. Not wasting a second, you tapped the stack of papers on your desk, leaving the papers with a booklet on top of it. You then gathered your personal things and left with a small wave to your fellow co-worker.

You thought about the current date, then facepalmed in defeat. It was your birthday, yet you're coming home at near midnight. Your poor boyfriend would be so upset if he prepared anything for you— Well, it's unlikely. But it was nice to think about him trying, failing miserably to try and count the time for when he should take out the cake.

You smiled at the small, imaginative memory and searched for your keys. You; Blindly, reached your apartment while imagining your boyfriend doing the most sweetest thing for you for your birthday. Well, unbeknownst to you, he was already trying just that.

Natan was trying his best to wait for the cake batter to bake, counting the time by the milisecond. He tried his best not to get distracted, in order to not mess up the perfect cake he was planning to make for you. He had already made the frosting for the coating— He couldn't mess up now.. Well, until he heard the shaking of your keys.

A literal, terrified shiver ran down his spine, breaking his focus. And he panicked, the time to take out the cake was nearing, and he had completely forgotten the time after he heard you. Panic, panic, panic!

Suddenly, there was a loud thud from the front door, earning Natan's attention and making him turn his head to look at the door. Apparently, there was a metal stuck from under the small gap of the flimsy, clearly unsafe, wooden door. His eyes lit up at the chance, and he quickly put on the baking gloves and took the— kind of baked cake out of the oven.

"Natan? Are you there? If you are, can you see if there's anything lodged underneath the door? It's stuck." You called out, huffing slightly and pulling out your keys from the keyhole and placing it back in your wallet. Shuffling was heard from behind the door, confusing you as Natan tried to clean up the messy-ly laid out equipment from the counter.

The frosting on the cake was... alright. Mostly because most of the frosting wasn't smoothed out. And the inside was probably needed a small more time for it to be fully baked. Natan mentally punched himself for the mediocre effort and used a small portion of your fondant collection to write out; 'Happy Birthday! My dear lover..'

He fixed a few disproportion on a few letters and hid the cake with a large bowl. Rushing to take the metal step out and allowing you to come inside— You immediately fell into his hold, hugging him tightly and snuggling into his warmth. "I missed you." You muttered out, muffled from your face being pressed againts his shoulder.

Natan returned the action, pulling you closer to him and stroking the spine on your back— Somehow comforting you, even past the shivers that kept running up your spine. "Have you noticed the date?" He whispered, you trail your thoughts back to your imaginations and nodded sheepishly. Not really caring if you miss it— now that you're here in his arms.

You felt your feet being dragged along his, then you were face to face with the darkness of Natan's palm. "I do hope you won't be disappointed with... how much I rushed." You heard him chuckle. A small hum rushed past your lips after he pulled his hand back, the dim light blinding your vision for a slight moment, until you saw the most adorable thing ever.

Natan wore an apron, and was holding out a poorly— yet adorable looking cake with a wish for you to have a happy birthday. The smalls sniffles you let out made Natan worry, and place the cake down to comfort you— But in seconds, you were back in his arms. Finger swiping a small amount of frosting into your mouth. Your mouth became watery in seconds, it tasted like the best frosting you ever had!

"Do you find it-."

"Of course I do! The frosting tastes like sweet berries, my favorite kind of berries, even!" You cut him off, leaning in to place a loving kiss on his lips. Completely wiping the doubt on his mind, and filling it with the desire to make you the most happiest you could be.

Maybe he should wait after you both finish the cake to give you the ring that he has been dying to give you, ever since... forever.
