Naomi Senju </3 | Post-Chunin Exams | A Turning Point

After the chunin exams — before Sasuke goes ‘missing.’ 

With a soft step, Naomi entered her small home, a somber and heavy expression on her face as she looked over the empty, dimly lit house. Sighing, she made her way through the living room and into her bedroom. Once inside, the kunoichi began to unzip her jonin vest before holding it in her hands while gazing down at it with a furrowed brow, and her lips tugged into a conflicted scowl. 

This old, tattered thing. Decades of battles it’d seen from when Orochimaru, her childhood sensei, and the snake sannin, had worn it before abandoning the leaf — before going back on every promise he’d ever made. Her fingers dug into the old fabric, knuckles turning white as she let out a shaky breath she hadn’t realized she’d been holding. A tear rolling down her cheek as she looked towards her closet, finally taking her gaze off the vest. Stepping to the door and opening it before slowly hanging the vest on a metal hanger deep behind her other clothing, putting her past behind her, putting -him- behind her. 

The days of wishing she could talk to him, and convince him to come home were over. She wouldn’t wear his vest. She wouldn’t bring him home, not willingly, and she had finally accepted that. He’d come back kicking and screaming, in cuffs of some kind to pay for his crimes. She’d be the one to do it, she vowed that night after what he’d done to Hiruzen and the village she called home — the one that damned snake used to call home.

needed to get this important point for naomi finally drawn up like a screenshot since I cant exactly get it animated fully the way I can envision it in my mind rip </3 but some more context and info related to the jonin vest she wears in her early / part one design, as well as where it goes when she stops wearing it.

//for @ambient-kuuki . We had a few versions of rp going on and this is one of them. Ambient and Kaguya!Sakuro. Of course, these rps are purely experimental for now. The Kaguya! Sakuro is heavily based off of NCHammer's Sakura theory of her being Kaguya's vessel. It was a fun experiment.I've had a lot of fun with these and decided to show some luv to our baby fawn.

Context: Sakuro is tormented by Kaguya's presence in his mind, for he was her perfect vessel, and Ambient is tormented by her abusive family and hunted for dead by her clan for marrying Kisame, the swordsman of the mist, because the Kuuki clan have grudge against the Hidden Mist Village, therefore being in relationship with their people meant death penalty for the Kuuki.
