Hello!! Thank you very much for taking a look at this event! Here are a few basic rules for the event (These are subject to change at any time):

Please be respectful to your fellow Naruto fans! This is meant to be a fun and casual event for us to celebrate Neji!

Please create new work for this event!

Writing, art, gif sets, playlists, etc. are welcome to participate!

Using AI to create pieces for this event WILL NOT BE TOLERATED. If it is discovered that AI is used in any way for any piece, the creator will be BLOCKED AND BANNED from participating in any future events.

Please interpret the prompts however you'd like!

When posting your work for the event, please use the hashtag #NejiWeek2024 and/or tag the Tumblr page! @nejiweek

Content containing problematic content/ships (i*ncest, p*edo, etc.) WILL NOT BE TOLERATED. If it is discovered those themes are in any content made for this event, the creator will be BLOCKED AND BANNED from participating in any future events.

Please keep all works at nothing higher than a PG13/T for Teen rating. (The anime and manga are typically rated 13+, so consider using that as a baseline)

*clears throat* hear me out, I see Itachi as the man with the potential to actually heal your nervous system. The way he speaks to you, he is so kind, gentle, reassuring, observant, he is everything that you could ever need to be in your happy energy.

When Itachi’s angry, he doesn’t yell, doesn’t snap like he usually does. When Itachi wants to communicate, he minds his tone. It’s his usual politeness and the aura he carries, but he helps you heal on a subconscious level. You’re just not used to a stressed out environment anymore thanks to husband!Itachi. 💅🏻 I will write some separate headcanons of how this could play out in the domestic scenarios with the king himself <3

Also, he makes sure to communicate. You can always find Itachi going out of his way in communication. This, is something that I see him working on diligently because this doesn’t come to him naturally. Itachi has a habit of internalizing most of his emotions, but for your sake — he out there, he tries to become an open book. Ugh I love this man so much 😔

Eida knows Sarada & Sumire are immune to her abilities.

Whats weird to me is that Eida just doesn't further question that Sarada & Sumire are acting so normal, like I would have never bought Sumire's excuse. NO SHOT!

I think Eida is protecting those two from her clingy little brother.

She has stated before that she wants to have actual friends, but probably knows Daemon would try to kill them potentially if he figures it out (that part isn't so much stated but it's the way he's looking at Sarada & Sumire when he's considering they may not be affected).

He's overprotective, clingy, & overpowered; a terrible combination for her to be around in this case where she would like some actual friends. He's also very eager to fight people!

She 100% went along with Sumire's bullshit excuse to keep those two safe from her brother. She literally pauses for a moment before agreeing with them!

We'll see how good the excuse is when the official translation is out, but I think Eida's playing along so she can have actual friends around her. She knows whats actually going on here, she isn't a fool.

His palms softly caress her forearms, fingers holding her own and intertwining as he turns her to face him. She's conflicted, confused even. With the way the village looked at her, it was hard to keep up. With the way everyone just expected perfection, devotion- all because the Uchiha was ever so perfect on the outside, it was mind numbing.

"Bring your mind to me." Itachi distracts her from her range of thoughts, flicking her forehead sweetly. He had his usual smile that takes all her worries away, if that wasn't enough, Itachi had no plans of letting her go from his warmth, from his loving embrace. "I know, people consider me tremendously dutiful, resourceful, committed to my village." He hastens his movements and lets her head nestle against his shirtless chest. Itachi had developed a habit of sleeping shirtless beside her. If it wasn't for her lack of sleep, they'd be cuddled like bears on the bed. "Which, I am." He agreed, for someone who usually listens more, Itachi was sure as hell speaking a lot today. Just to not let her silence feel lonely.

"Imagine the extent of my duty, my commitment to my one and only?" He hums, watching her smile softly. "You should go and sleep, Tachi" She mumbled, looking at the night sky littered with stars. "Can't sleep alone anymore, Angel." He nuzzles his nose against the crook of her neck, a soft smirk littered at the sight of goosebumps. "You know, whatever I am, it's you? At the end of the day, I'm your other half. If you want, I can show them the wrath I am capable of, Amaterasu burning the very essence of their being, for tormenting you." She shakes her head no at that, simply because Itachi was capable of something like this, and maybe… wouldn't hesitate at all. "Then come back to bed with me, the world can rot away, to my ignorance." He holds her princess-style, taking her to bed. Itachi would never, ever, let her forget that he is, and will continue to be her biggest shield.
