this is probably gonna seem like it came out of nowhere to my like, followers, but i had a junji ito based nightmare last night and wanted to share it.

i dreamt there was a sequel to layers of fear. in the years following the original story, the family had learned to adapt to what happened - most notably, reimi had developed mentally back into herself, though she of course remained stretched out and uncanny as a result of what her mother did. though narumi and reimi were fine to accept the deal they'd been dealt and at least be glad some sort of recovery could be made, their mother continued to mourn the loss of reimi's "beauty."

then, one morning, they find that reimi has miraculously healed, regaining the body of a young woman - to the delight of their mother. but when narumi sees her, she knows something isn't right.

we see reimi's healed form. narumi is right - something is terribly wrong.

because she doesn't look like reimi.

she looks like tomie.

Does anyone have any Narumi Soya pictures from the new Junji Ito anime? I can’t screen shoot on Netflix anymore and she’s a favorite of mine
