Buddha on 5 tiers
The amulet with Buddha seating on a 5 tiers, the 5 tiers refers to Benja-sean / Benja-tham which is Buddhist five precepts. The Five Precepts are the Buddhist version of a code of conduct or rules to help people behave in a moral and ethical way. Buddhists should follow the Five Precepts to ensure they are living a morally good life. This helps them to get rid of suffering and achieve enlightenment.
The five precepts are as follows:
1. Refrain from taking life. Not killing any living being. For Buddhists, this includes animals, so many Buddhists choose to be vegetarian.
2. Refrain from taking what is not given. Not stealing from anyone.
3. Refrain from the misuse of the senses . Not having too much sensual pleasure. For example, not looking at people in a lustful way or committing adultery.
4. Refrain from wrong speech. Not lying or gossiping about other people.
5. Refrain from intoxicants that cloud the mind. Not drinking alcohol or taking drugs, as these do not help you to think clearly.
It is important to practice the precepts over time as they are not always easy to carry out. The main aim of a Buddhist is to get rid of suffering, and therefore following the Five Precepts is important as they help Buddhists to avoid causing others to suffer. Following the Five Precepts is linked to karma, as these count as skillful actions, which produce good consequences.

Sun is out and so do we
Well done self for gradually starting to manage your finances wisely! Kanina I went on the Bobbie Brown shop, like ang tagal kong hawak yun dalawang matte lipsticks na on sale but still considered pricey pag nag convert ka in Peso. I was already on the third queue and about to pay for it at the counter, nainip ako kasi ang tagal nun nasa unahan and I feel like it was a sign na wag ko na lang bilihin and again I asked myself, kung kailangan ko ba talaga ng bagong lipstick na naman. Eh hindi naman actually coz I have loads already and I don’t even wear one at work. I decided to put it back on the shelf and walk away. And to me it felt like a small win. Way to go self! Just because you can doesn’t mean you should. Wala akong nabili today but I splurge a bit sa food which is completely okay dahil pagkain naman iyon. 🤭
Yay! Summer is almost here, pwede ng mag casual clothes and no to layering muna . 😁
This is Pippa’s bag. Like papaano? How come na ako laging large tote bag ang dala, with water, wet wipes, alcohol, hand cream, cosmetic kit, power bank, Paracetamol, Hysocine and White flower or Katinko at pag sa Pinas palagi akong may payong na dala.
There was a time na gumimik kami ng friends ko dito and went on a high end bar and wala akong dalang id, they’re pissed and we end up going home dahil we cannot get in dahil I wasn’t able to present an id, I have digital copies of my ids on my phone but they wouldn’t consider it! Like how ridiculous is that? Then my friend told me, “mamsh what if na aksidente ka (touch wood) and wala kang identification card sa bag mo?”. Which well yes, that makes sense and may point nga din naman.
I cant imagine when I become a mom, ano na lang kaya?

Di ako makatulog, and I'm here overthinking malala na naman esp sa career.
Kwento ko lang nagpapa-overthink sakin. Sooo, it's my 4th year in this JP company (2 years nang panay nagsasabi sa sarili na magreresign na ako) that helps fulfill my HS dream of being able to communicate in JP...kaso basic lang lol nakakatamad na kasi mag-aral. And also, I was recently promoted to Project Team Lead yay. And also, mas nalalapit na ang opportunity for business trip, right?...right? *insert amidala meme*
Wrong. haha. and I feel like the opportunity was proactively taken away from me. And I'm tired. charot.
Anyways, how did it happen? So ayun. Actually marami pa talaga kami nakapila for BT. And like nung si Mam V pa ang Lead namin, napagkasunduan na rotation ang gagawin for BT, like kahit di mo project, basta next in line ka na, ikaw na sunod ipapadala. BT is mostly educ/training para sa new work so no worries I think. Hindi rin naman kami (at that time) very exclusive lang sa isang project. Like, anyone can work on a certain project depende kung saan need ng support/manpower. And ayun nga, yung senior ko na 1year ahead sa akin ang next in line. Kaso pandemic happened and nacancel yung project. It took at least 2 years para magka-abundance ulit ng projects pero mostly Expatriation opportunities ang nag-oopen. Then within that 2 years, marami rin nagresign sa team namin. Currently, 2 kaming waiting for next BT opportunity (PTL din siya). And yung isa is not open/ayaw mag-BT so eto ako umaasa na sakin ibigay.
Currently, may inaacquire na project na mukhang rich in knowledge and experience. The 2 expats are very supportive na magka-BT opportunity kami. btw, meron kami each project ni co-worker but both are stabilized na kasi so minimal supervision nalang ang kelangan dun.
Tbh, I was heartbroken. I'm not saying di deserve ni co-worker yung opportunity pero ako yung panay request ng technical work since time immemorial, ako yung very open, very willing maipadala sa Japan. Pwede namang 2 kami sabay ipadala for BT since may need rin naman siya iacquire na certain task para sa project niya. Pero ang ginawa nila is tinambak kay co-worker yung current and new project.
I could just wait for co-worker na magsabi kay SV at TL na tanggihan niya yung opportunity and maybe sakin ioffer yung project right? Kahit acquire lang gagawin...Pero it felt wrong. If inoffer sakin, like, ang dating is I am the alt option, and I don't know why it feels degrading. And also, I'm not just mad at the missed BT opportunity, I'm mad kasi there goes my chance of improving my knowledge sa electronics.
Baka nga di ako okay performer...pero it still hurts. I feel echapwera-ed.
It's not like pinapagpitch or interview din kami to fight for the project, like state the reasons bakit namin ibibigay to sayo.
And right now, feeling ko, tumaas nga position ko, pero I feel more stuck than ever. If ever man may dumating na technical opportunities, magfofocus na ako sa management and not on the operation kasi nga Lead na rin position ko, and I'll give away the learning exp to subordinates.
Ayun.
I hope to never forget that day, that week, that moment of heartbreak and weariness so that mapush ko sarili ko to look for greener pastures.
Yun lang bow.
TLDR di ako yung piniling maglead sa project kaya goodbye elecs knowledge at BT opportunity so hopefully goodbye na rin ako sa kumpanyang to.

Prologue Part One
Turning back about 50 years, this very village of Nong Saeng Chan was still a small community of around 50 households. At that time, electricity and piped water hadn’t yet reached here. The way of life was still quite simple. Most of the villagers were farmers–they grew rice, raised cattle and buffalo for plowing, kept pigs, ducks, and chickens, grew vegetables, and caught fish from the rivers and natural streams to feed their families. Some villagers also enjoyed going into the forest to hunt, gather food, and collect wild goods to sell in town.
In those days, besides relying on the village monks for spiritual guidance, the villagers also worshiped ghosts and spirits. They believed in ghosts, spirits, black magic, and superstition much more than science. So, raising ghosts, worshiping ghosts, and practicing black magic were important parts of their lives.
Most of the men in the village, from the young to the elderly, were knowledgeable in incantations and magic, and some even qualified as spirit doctors. But among them, only a few had earned widespread respect and were known as powerful sorcerers—renowned even in nearby villages. One of these was Shaman Saen, or as the villagers called him, Uncle Saen.
Many incidents built Shaman Saen’s reputation. One of his most notable feats was his subduing of Nang Soi, the spirit of a vengeful woman from a nearby village who had died while delivering her baby. Her wrath was so intense, filled with anger and sorrow, that many villagers who encountered her fell gravely ill, some even suffering sudden hair loss along with high fevers. Nang Soi spared no one, haunting even monks and novices alike. Many spirit doctors tried and failed to subdue her, but it was Shaman Saen who finally succeeded. He captured the spirits of Nang Soi and her unborn child in a clay pot, sealing the lid with a sacred cloth to prevent them from ever roaming and terrifying anyone again.
Then there was the case of Yai Sod, the old woman who lived next to the temple and had turned into a Krasue spirit. For months, she caused trouble in the village, terrifying everyone. But it was Shaman Saen who finally put an end to it, driving her out of the village once and for all.
One of the most harrowing cases was Ta Cherd, an elderly, emaciated man who had turned into a malevolent Phi Pop spirit. Ta Cherd terrorized the village, killing and devouring countless ducks and chickens and even claiming the lives of several villagers, including a young, newly pregnant woman. Shaman Saen finally confronted Ta Ched as he prepared to devour a newborn calf. Saen intervened just in time. Ta Cherd fought back fiercely, he attacked a villager who had come to assist. It left Shaman Saen no choice but to burn Ta Cherd’s body, putting a definitive end to his rampage.
Yet, there was another equally terrifying incident—one of the most chilling moments in the village’s history. I was also a part of this event, and I still remember it to this day. And of course, it was one of my life's most chaotic and dreadful nights, too.

Note:
A Pob or "Phi Pob" is a malevolent spirit in Thai folklore, known for its hunger for human and animal flesh and organs. Unlike many spirits that roam independently, the Pob spirit possesses living people especially those who are weak or vulnerable. Once possessed, the victim exhibits abnormal behavior, with a ravenous craving for raw meat and internal organs. If not exorcised, the Pob spirit can consume the person from within, leaving them weak, emaciated, and often close to death. Often described as a spirit of envy or greed, the Pob is feared for its ability to hide in plain sight within someone’s body, making it difficult for villagers to identify its host.
A Krasue or "Phi Krasue" is a ghostly spirit from Thai folklore, often recognized by its terrifying appearance. This spectral entity consists of a floating woman’s head with her internal organs trailing beneath, such as her heart, stomach, and intestines, glowing eerily in the night. By day, she appears as a normal woman, but at night, her head detaches from her body to roam in search of food. The Krasue preys on raw meat, blood, and even waste. People believe she seeks livestock and sometimes preys on newborns or fetuses in villages. Her presence is often signaled by a faint, disturbing glow and the unsettling sounds of her organs rustling.
"Phi" means ghost in Thai.

Thai News Room Read the full article

10.29 | 12:40 PM
Kaibigan o kaya bang mag-ibigan?
Kapalaran ka ba, o pangarap lang?
'Di ko alam kung may pag asa ba sa'yo
Nalilito
O malay natin, pareho lang tayong natatakot
Kaya idadaan nalang sa tawanan
Ang palaisipan kung kaya bang
Maidahandahang ika'y makatuluyan
mahal parin kita.
mahal na mahal.
1:59 PM - just landed in Davao. yay!
