gonna do Mason’s route with my new detective, Griffin Maverick 👌

keep thinking about this insert oc I’ve put in wayhaven chronicles and basically a somewhat fan fic type thing is forming in my brain

man...i’ve just been sucked into wayhaven which i knew would happen but still! it’s like 6am whoops!

I gotta say my favorite is A’s followed by M’s with N and F being tied for third??

finished book one with Ronan....man I just love my serious and angry son so much 👌

still not done with book 2 yet but I’m just loving Griffin and Mason...

going in I had the idea of going hard with the flirting but it kinda settled into her being flustered by him and actually being very genuine with him...it’s sweet <3

....she did not sleep with him at her apartment she said she enjoyed the “complicated parts” when he said it was just sex so he left...but girl later pinned him to the wall turning combat training and kissed him soooooo who knows what’s going on with these idiots lmao

listen I’m still not done with book one of wayhaven yet but here’s the start of a board for my detective

2. Why did they join the police?

Erin: She wanted to help people as much as possible. She also liked the idea of being like her father and trying to do something with her life he would be proud of.

Griffin: She joined the force to avoid jail time 😂

Ronan: He joined because he liked the structure of the job and it was something that could put his expertise to use.

Trevor: He joined cause it was the only job in town to put his mind to work. Really a nerdy boy born to be a detective!

Magnolia: She joined to protect people and stop criminals.

6. What's their relationship to Bobby?

Erin: She barely knows Bobby. But he’s an annoying pain in the ass and Erin is very exasperated by him.

Griffin: Bobby is an ex-friend and she has a huge grudge against him. God does she hate this man!

Ronan: Bobby is an ex. Ronan is still really wrecked by their relationship even if he tries not to show it. He ends up getting really snippy with her when she shows up.

Trevor: Bobby is an ex-friend and Trevor has moved past what happened between them. Trevor tries to keep things civil but still calls Bobby out on his shit.

Magnolia: Bobby is an ex and she tries to avoid him honestly. She’s more mad at herself for falling for his shit back in the day.

8. What's their relationship with their mom like? How did it change?

Erin: She wasn’t super close to her mother but was understanding of her absence. After finding out the truth she got even closer to her mother and they are on very good terms.

Griffin: She wasn’t close with her mother and their relationship was a little tense. She slowly got closer to her mother after finding out everything but is still awkward with the motherly attention.

Ronan: He had a very strained relationship with his mother from the beginning. It was a slow process but they did get a little bit closer after the truth got out. He understood a bit more why she was gone so much.

Trevor: He was super close to his mother despite her being gone so often and they just got closer once he learned the truth.

Magnolia: She was insanely close to her mother and she has a lot more respect for her after finding out the truth.

11. Do they have any tattoos/ piercings?

Erin: She probably has some small cute tattoos and basic ear piercings.

Griffin: She’s got multiple ear piercings and rather large back tattoo (some like feathered wing shit)

Ronan: No piercings, but he’s probably got some tattoos (but I have no ideas of what exactly).

Trevor: No piercings or tattoos (not really his thing).

Magnolia: She’s got basic ear piercings and probably some nice flower tattoos.

24. How did they handle the fight with Murphy? Did they get bitten?

Erin: She’s a tough one and powered through the fight. She did get bitten (on the wrist). But she did manage to help take down Murphy and they captured him.

Griffin: She tried to join in the fight but was exhausted after everything that happened. She did get bitten (on the neck) and Murphy got away. She is really mad at herself for failing to get him.

Ronan: He stayed out of the way in the fight trying to tend to his own wounds. He did not get bitten and they captured Murphy.

Trevor: He was completely panicked during the fight and tried to hide. But he did get bitten (on the neck) and Murphy got away.

Magnolia: I’m literally right about to play the Murphy scene with her so we’ll see lol (she’s very combat-focused so she’ll probably try to join the fight tbh)

i’m like half way through book 2 with a new detective....i was wanting to do a’s route again with a grumpy detective lol

she’s a lot of fun but the route doesn’t feel that different from the first time I played it?? idk it’s fun re-experiencing stuff and some things are slightly different especially given i went the bobby route this time but i might honestly just use this same detective and do another n route after i’m done
