Nancy Clancy/Fancy Nancy headcannon
Okay. I cannot be the only person who watched Fancy Nancy and NOT think that girl was autistic. Everywhere I look I can't seem to find anything in depth about her- I've found a couple posts here and there saying they headcannon Nancy as autistic but I badly want to have or find some sort of in depth conversation about it.
There is not a neurotypical explanation for this girl and I related to her so much when I watched the show when it came out.
Please. If anyone out there knows what I'm talking about please talk to me.
The French, the clothing, the mannerisms, the everything about her.
I cannot be the only one who thinks this

I mean:
The red hair. The camp.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I rest my case.
These two must meet, as Nancy would say, tout de suite!
(That's fancy for 'right away'.)
Someone looking over my shoulder at @earths-roots-grow-up's Eddie: Is that Fancy Nancy?

Clancy got new design???
Nah!! "Love" and "Dearest" are just Lovecore reskins of Franny and Clancy :3 Clancy still has the regular old design.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Though, because Clancy and Love have different eye colors, Theres a part of me that thinks that Love is a different universe varient of Clancy.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Pehehe! i have this little inside joke... Instead of Clancy and Franny, the Lovecore girls real names are "Nancy" and "Francesca"

4th Anniversary of The Eye on the Galaxy
Released four years ago on Christmas Day, this is the one fan fiction of which I’ve become rather proud. Not only does it transition nicely between Season 2 and the still-sitting-on-the-shelf-because-the-higher-ups-assumed-nobody-was-interested-in-more-episodes Season 3, but it gives many side characters a chance to shine, even those who haven’t spoken since Season 1. I already have a background made for it. I’ll get around to making a visual for the shorts… eventually.
Tumblr media
Just to recap, here are the shorts, their summaries, and the featured interviewees. The ones in bold were seen in The End of the Galaxy while the ones italicized remain unclear. Whoever has an asterisk (*) may be hidden in the crowd even though we cannot see them.
1. The Rulers - Andy learns about the leaders of their own people and their concerns.
King Bingleborp
The King of Flendar + the Flendarians
The King of Sherblorg 7
Beeza + the Ballzerians
Queen Zeeba (the queen from The Axe)

Destructor + his subjects (partial)

Stella Starbella + Mittens
The lost and found guy
Trudi Traveler + her clones
The slug boss + his two custodians

3. The Teammates - Andy gets the scoop from various groups and troops.
Badlands Dan + his gang
Oink* + the Motorhogs
The blue and red ants
The Insurgent Generals (General Outrage, Brainz, Wild Card*, Clipper) plus a phone call from Robomechabotasquad
4. The Youth - Andy chats with some children, teens, tots, and the supervising parents.
Melodie + Angela + David + Jamie and Hank
Olive + her mother
The three slug grandkids
The rock lady + her babies
Huckleberry Knucklehead + his parents*
Camera father + camera mother + smartphone son
Teen leader + weasly teen* + obvious teen
Dracor and Demurra’s triplets
5. The Gutsy - Andy talks with the tenacious and converses with the courageous.
Ripov
Thrax + 3 cohorts + 1 other cohort*
Harvax + Stok
The slug nephew
Ryder via Eye Drone.
6. The Reformed - Andy finds out what’s next for the ex-villains/ex-tyrants.
Destructor + his subjects (continued)
Major Threat
The Black Cube + Tracy
Something the So-and-So (picked, but not started), as well as a postcard from Westley and the half-torn photo strip from The Bot
7. The Business Folks - Andy gathers information on changes in the workplace.
The Blarpee’s cashier
Okeydokian diner manager + Michelle
Apple head and lemon head bartender
Landlord + fast food manager
Garbage collector
Dr. Scrivellix (the dentist)
Clancy Shmancy + Nancy Shmancy + construction workers* + waiter
Plumber
MOGA curator
Weasel (owner of Weasel’s Watering Hole)
Okeydokian director 1
Okeydokian director 2
Hat shop owner
Locksmith
8. The Mysterious - Andy asks some extraordinary individuals how they’ll get home.
Neckbeard
5 lords of illumination (I like to think one of them had a Bloo mask on.)
Fortune teller
Mooplexians
High Gnee council + Gluteus/Todd + the buttler
Celestial star being via Eye Drone plus a brief appearance of the intergalactic guru by a holographic smoke effect
9. The Creatures - Andy has questions for the critters who sought refuge on the planetoid.
The rabbit (The Good Deed)
The pit monster (The Birthday Boy)
The fire lion (The Little Guy) - assists Andy in the next ten lines
Monster dog (The Stray)
Hoarder scorpion (The Epic Quest…)
Tigrex of Nil (The Epic Quest)
Electric birds (The Liar)
Frankenstein monster (The Heebie Jeebies)
Squills (The Wanders)
Hufflerumples (The Good Deed)
Diurnal animals (including those from The Breakfast)
Nocturnal animals (The Night)
Frederick (The Rider)
Mother and child (The Egg) via Eye Drone
Gracknore (The Good Deed) via Eye Drone
Tagathorian animals (The Enemies) via Eye Drone
Buster (The Ball) via Eye Drone
Giant worm (The Hat) via Eye Drone, which promptly gets eaten
10. The So-and-So - Andy brings an eager, but unsure, guest to his desk.
Something the So-and-So (two blips to suggest time passage)
11. The Rest - Andy speeds through the interviews with the remaining refugees.

Flankarians (The Cool Guy)
Tiki beings (The Liar)
Bunny-like beings (The Show Stopper)
Mr. Brittle + Mrs. Brittle (The Rider)
Ornament beings (The Gift)
Balloon man
Dragor the Distractible
Princess Galactia
Princess Veronicron + Jim the Neon Knight
Gelatinous Bob animatronic + Joey Protozoa animatronic + drummer animatronic
Fleeblebort* + Marsha + the two hillbilly families
Flower-headed birds (The Good Deed)
35 screens featuring distinctive incidentals from previous episodes (The Fugitives, The Box, The Nice Guy, The Time Bomb, The Helper, etc.), including the furry slug man (from The Toddler and The Night Out)
Cloaked refugees
Brad Starlight + Remora (The Hot Shot) (I did spot about one or two other ladies from that episode in a crowd close up)
Chad
Hooded refugees
Surprise appearance by Wander and Sylvia, both of whom lead the Skullship (with Hater and Peepers inside) to crash into Andy’s desk
So there you have it.
Of course, I’ve yet to know exactly who would be on the formerly secret planet and climb aboard the Star Nomad. That’s why I wish to share this information with Craig McCracken himself and gather anything that only he and the crew would know. In case you haven’t guessed by now, he has an account on Bluesky. As long as the fandom thrives, we’ll learn something new about WOY in the future. What could be more exciting?
And with that, happy holidays!

From the maker of "long haul trucker vampires" comes:
Vampire ghostwriter, but they're ghostwriting for themselves.
You can probably think of at least one series written by a collective pseudonym (Hardy Boys, Nancy Drew, Warriors) or an author who either (allegedly or actually) uses ghostwriters to crank out material (K.A. Applegate, R.L. Stine, James Patterson) or whose name has been picked up by a team of ghostwriters to continue their brand after their death (V.C. Andrews, Tom Clancy).
So say you were either a writer before you were turned, or you're picking yourself up a new side hustle to fill up your unlife. You get someone to either provide the "face" of your author on the back cover of your books or to play them live a la Marjorie Husted and Adelaide Hawley Cumming playing Betty Crocker over the years, write for a good forty or fifty years or so, make up a fictional obituary when it's time, but then keep your brand going whilst pretending to be a faceless ghostwriter. Alternately, you don't show your "face" at all and pretend you're a group pseudonym right from the start. Maybe you're a group who handle different parts of the writing process, maybe you're all so in touch with each other's style that your books are indistinguishable, maybe you get cute and work in enough different writing tics between your books that your readers start to be able to tell which "writer" is writing which book.
Either way, you can keep on writing well into the next century and so long as you keep all your paperwork in order, no one will be the wiser.

Top 10 Worst Main Characters In Cartoons
Tumblr media
#10. Kick Buttowski (Kick Buttowski: Suburban Daredevil): Kicking off our list (no pun intended) is the one trick pony of a character that is Kick Buttowski. His character begins and ends with him wanting to do extreme stunts. That'd be fine for a 7 minute short as a tribute or parody to stuntmen like Evel Knevel, but for an animated series? His shtick gets old very fast and he's nothing more than a blank slate of a character.
Tumblr media
#9. Lincoln Loud (The Loud House): A smug, narcissistic brat, Lincoln treats his sisters like a means to end at best and a pain to live with at worst. Not only does he show contempt with them on a daily basis, but he's also not afraid to humiliate and take advantage of them to stroke his own ego. Would you believe this kid's named after one of the greatest Presidents of all time.
Tumblr media
#8. Katie Mitchell (The Mitchells vs The Machines): Nothings makes me hate a movie more than how hatable the main character is. Katie is selfish, annoying, ungrateful, and not even remotely funny. She has this bitter and resentful attitude towards her father when they were once best friends, and the way she makes this story about her is very condescending. If the movie had been about her as a child and putting her relationship with her non-tech savy father to the test, maybe I'd sympathize with her more, but as a teenager ready for college, she's just a brat.
Tumblr media
#7. Nancy Clancy (Fancy Nancy): I now know how Dora's detractors feel after watching Fancy Nancy. Nancy is such an obnoxious, pampered brat that talks down to the audience like we're pesents and always acts like a fancy life is the best life. She's very rude, selfish, and narcissistic, all of which are qualities you're NOT supposed to have when trying to be fancy.
Tumblr media
#6. Miriam "Mimi" Mortin (What About Mimi?): No, this gif isn't from the villain of this obscure show. It's from the main protagonist...and that's just the tip of the iceberg. Mimi is a stupid, selfish, and annoying kid who makes simple problems worse by going overboard with her plans and throwing her friends under the bus. She's also very irresponsible and oblivious to the fact that she's no better than the show's designated spoiled brat, Sincerity.
Tumblr media
#5. Kai (The Hollow): The one character that singlehandedly makes the show worse, Kai is everything Adam and Mira DIDN’T need on their journey. He's whiny, selfish, short-tempered and a big, fat coward. Whenever there's danger, his first and only instinct is to head for the hills instead of helping his friends. He also needlessly starts arguments with Adam because Heaven forbid 2 guys have a normal conversation together without it turning into a shouting match.
Tumblr media
#4. Kiff Chatterley (Kiff): What do you get when you put Mimi's personality in a squirrel who's dumber than a sack of acorns? You get Kiff! She's selfish, annoying, stupid, irresponsible, and overdramatic over the simplist of things. What puts her above Mimi on the list is Kiff is the 4th irresponsible main female character I had the displeasure of sitting through after I specifically said I was done with these types of character. The character's a bigger waste of time than watching a worm try to crack open a safe.
Tumblr media
#3. Molly McGee (The Ghost and Molly McGee): If you thought Dee Dee from the last 2 Seasons of Dexter's Lab was a headache, you might want to where a helmet when being in the same room as Molly McGee. She's annoying, inconsiderate, loud, obnoxious, and really stupid. She never thinks before she acts and every time she opens her mouth, she never shuts up. The worst part about her is the fact that Scratch can't just leave her because he put a curse on her, meaning he's stuck suffering with the audience listening to this chatterbox.
Tumblr media
#2. Oscar Peltzer (Summer Camp Island): It boggles my mind how Hedgehog, nevermind ANYONE, would be friends with this kid. Oscar is selfish, annoying, inconsiderate, and stupid. He goes through Hedgehog's personal stuff, cheats at games and gets lost in the city. He also has a bad habit of not thinking before he acts, making him all the more annoying and stupid.
Tumblr media
#1. Apple and Onion (Apple & Onion): No need to imagine a show with 2 annoying side characters as the main characters, because it already exists. Apple and Onion are easily the worst characters in Cartoon Network's history. In addition to being annoying and stupid, they also lack basic chemistry with each other and are painfully unfunny. What puts them at #1 though is Apple's fatphobia and Onion's complacency to said fatphobia. Need I say more? -.-
Conclusion: These cartoon protagonists are not only bad role models, but they're also just badly written. Whether they be annoying, stupid, irresponsible, or selfish, trust me when I say you DON'T want characters like these as the protagonist of your show/movie. Either audience's will mistake them as villains, or they'll just tune out. Dishonorable mentions go to Fei Fei from Over The Moon (I've talked enough about that brat -.-), Bloo from Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends (I wouldn't have blamed Mac for not visiting Foster's anymore after the birthday party episode), and Rick Sanchez from Rick & Morty (would've made the list, but I don't wanna give Rick & Morty any more attention than it has already). Thanks for reading, and I'll see you soon ;)

Marvel's Spider-Man (Josh Keaton)
Spider-Man 90s Animated Series (Neil Ross)
Insomniac Games (Mark Rolston) and The Black Order (Steve Blum)
LEGO Marvel (Nolan North, Josh Keaton)

Marvel's Spider-Man (Scott Menville)
Spider-Man 90's Animated Series (Efrem Zimbalist Jr.)

Spider-Man 90's Animated Series (Mark Hamill)
Marvel Superhero Adventures (Andrew Francis)
Universal Studios Ride (Patrick Fraley)

Spider-Man 90's Animated Series (Martin Landau, Richard Moll)

Raimi Trilogy Video Game (Bob Joles)
Insomniac Games (Travis Willingham) and The Black Order (Tim Blaney)
NOTE: Tom Harvey, Stan Jones, Stephen Stanton, Gregg Berger, Jim Cummings and JB Blanc also gave commendable takes on Fisk that worked for the iterations they were playing. Sorry to say, Spiderverse fans, but Liev Schreiber's Kingpin does nothing for me.
Tumblr media
Doctor Doom
Marvel Ultimate Alliance (Clive Revill)
90's Animated Marvel (Neil Ross, Simon Templeman, Tom Kane, Ross Marquand)
Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes (Lex Lang)
Marvel VS Capcom (Paul Dobson)

Tumblr Mobile wouldn’t let me upload videos directly so I uploaded this to YouTube instead and am sharing the link here. I’ve been putting together voice headcanon videos for various Kirby characters. This is part one, which has my voice headcanons for Captain Vul, Bandana Dee, Sailor Dee, and Nightmare. I’m also including explanations for why I chose the voices that I did under the cut.
Clancy Brown as Captain Vul: Clancy Brown is the voice of Mr. Krabs in SpongeBob. I feel like that’s all of the explanation that this choice requires lmao, Vul reminds me a lot of Mr. Krabs.
Nancy Cartwright as Bandana Dee and Yeardley Smith as Sailor Dee: I headcanon Bandana and Sailor Dee as being siblings, and since Cartwright and Smith happen to voice a pair of siblings (Bart and Lisa Simpson) I thought that their voices were fitting. I could also see their voices working for Waddle Dees in general and not just for Bandana and Sailor.
Ricardo Montalban as Nightmare: Ricardo Montalban passed away in 2009 but I really like his voice for Nightmare so I still included him here. I wanted to make Nightmare actually sound intimidating and wanted to give him a Spanish accent since I have a headcanon that he raised Meta Knight/Meta Knight speaks with a Spanish accent from growing up hearing Nightmare speak with one. Montalban was famous for playing the villain Khan in Star Trek (if you’re not into Star Trek you may also recognize him as the grandpa in the Spy Kids movies) and he was really good in that villain role, so I felt like he’d be a fitting choice.

Rainbow 6 Siege Twitch +Elite Twitch
@cctreasuretrove @sssvitlanz
Emmanuelle Pichon, codenamed Twitch, is an Attacking Operator featured in Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege Pichon grew up in a family of academics in the historic city of  Nancy, France, where the children were encouraged to excel in Math,  Science, and Technology. Early participation in sponsored computer  programming competitions led to her joining the army cadets at sixteen.  Almost immediately her talent was recognized, particularly in robotics.  Her superiors quickly encouraged Pichon to study engineering while  continuing her career in the military with the GIGN.  From the start, Pichon's focus has been on adaptable technology that  aids soldiers in the field. While there is much praise for her  technological achievements, Pichon's tactical prowess and ability to  problem solve quickly and efficiently make her a crucial operational  asset.
In 2015, Pichon was led by Olivier "Lion" Flament on a mission to Nigeria to assist medical personnel fighting the Ebola epidemic. Tragedy ensued, and the decisions Flament made for safety reasons put him at odds with Pichon and Gustave "Doc" Kateb,  who blamed him for the death of several medical personnel on-site  including Kateb's colleague. Later that year, Pichon's unique  combination of talents made her well-suited to join Rainbow.
In 2016, Pichon met Taina "Caveira" Pereira and had some kind of relationship with her, but to what extent remains  currently unknown. While not deployed on missions, Pichon proved  invaluable for Rainbow's R&D Department. She assisted in the  improvement of the team's equipment and was noted to have helped Elena "Mira" Álvarez in the development of Morowa "Clash" Evans' CCE Shield in 2017. In early 2018, Pichon assisted Rainbow's new CBRN Threat Unit with a situation concerning a mysterious mist on the shores of Sussex.  During the operation, Pichon provided Olivier Flament with a new aerial  drone that allowed him to determine the source of the mist plume. In  2019, Pereira went AWOL in Bolivia in order to search for her brother. Pichon and Meghan "Valkyrie" Castellano subsequently collaborated with Ghost Recon to conduct Operation Archangel in order to recover Caveira which proved to be a success.
In June 2020, Pichon and Julien "Rook" Nizan were in Paris, France when two large fires emerged downtown. The GIGN  deployed the pair and several other officers to keep order from the  chaos caused by the fire. Having faced a similar situation during  training under The Program,  Pichon and Nizan suspected the fires had been started in order to  distract from a major bank heist across the city. They tracked and  confronted the robbers who started firing at them. Nizan was shot in the  head but was saved by his helmet. Pichon and Nizan then pursued the  robbers across Paris in a high-speed motorcycle chase and eventually  caught them.
In 2022, Pichon was placed on Rainbow's new humanitarian squad, Wolfguard, under the leadership of Gustave "Doc" Kateb. She and Gilles "Montagne" Touré later traveled to Belgium to recruit Ngoma "Sens" Mutombo into Rainbow. weeks later, Pichon and Doc acted as control for Operation Vector Glare. The pair directed Montagne, Sens, and Olivier "Lion" Flament to rescue of an architect who was being held hostage at a refinery by  local militia. It was believed that this architect held schematics that  would detail how Nighthaven was involved in Masayuki Yahata's assassination. Once the architect was secured, the three operatives rendezvoused with Pichon and the rest of Wolfguard. ✟ Mesh Originally From Ubisoft, Converted to XNALARA By My DeviantART Friend,BlinKJisooXPS and Converted to Sims 4 By Me

Hi Lim! For nice ask week I’d like to know a book you think each of the 911 LS characters would be obsessed with? 📚
Interesting question. Thank you!
I don’t think I have specific books in mind, but I have genres of books I think they read (in my personal head canon)
I think Paul reads philosophical sci fi and fantasy like The Three Body Problem and NK Jemisin.
I think Carlos tends to read realistic lit fic, possibly belongs to a book club.
I think TK like’s spy thrillers - John le Carre.
Nancy likes competence porn - like The Martian, people who think their way out of a problem.
Tommy reads a lot of middle grade books these days, because she wants to be able to talk to her girls about what they’re reading.
Grace likes books like Gone Girl - a little but twisty, a little bit dark. So does Marjan. They trade books all the time.
Judd likes a good Tom Clancy - he trades books with TK sometimes.
Mateo reads Marvel comics (obviously) - he’s your go to if you want to know the backstory on any of the more obscure characters who show up in the movies. He also really likes what Greg Rucka did with Wonder Woman and Gail Simone’s run on Birds of Prey even if they are DC.

Trending 27th - April 2024
What do you think the inside of the Star Nomad would look like, and what kind of rooms would there be?
Where do I even begin? Since the Star Nomad would be carrying folks back to their planets, I think there’d be hallways upon hallways on every deck, and there’d be either staircases, an elevator system, or both. Perhaps the Lords of Illumination could provide their own light for the entire ship, if they’re among the refugees, that is.
Maybe one of the decks would be reserved as some kind of temporary zoo. Of course, the larger animals, including the pit monster from The Birthday Boy, would have to be shrunk down by Neckbeard’s minimizing spell.
With the Watchdogs on board, their sleeping space would be just as condensed as their sleeping quarters on the Skullship. We already know Hater would have to share a room with Wander, but in the case of Sylvia and Peepers, I would imagine they’d take turns steering the ship and napping (imagine Peepers standing on a crate when he’s at the helm). The main four would have to live right under the helm where the star-shaped window is.
As more folks are being dropped off on their home planets, more rooms would become vacant, thus making the perfect opportunity for Wander to reserve those rooms for villains and keep them safe from Star Force Enforcement Force until he finds places where they can keep them safe (e.g. Sourdough/Evil Sandwich wrapped in a refrigerator at Blarpee’s).
I have been imagining the Star Nomad acting as some kind of cruise line with so many people on board. Clancy and Nancy of the Fancy Shmancys are in the hotel business, so maybe they’d know how to keep things in orderly fashion from buffets to recreational activities. Oh, and maybe there’d be a big room similar to the United Nations where the rulers of their planets can discuss their plans for the restored galaxy and such.
Maybe, juuuhhhhhst maybe, there’d be a spot somewhere under the stern where the fan that blows into the orbble wand masts is powered. You know how in Yogi’s Gang, the flying ark is powered by Magilla Gorilla running on a treadmill getting bananas in front of him? That particular spot would be for Huckleberry Knucklehead, and in front of him would be a lollipop. Worry not, though, for his teeny tiny parents would be there to watch over him. For every planet stop, he gets a lollipop.
There’s no telling where the ships owned by Starbella, Ripov, and Major Threat are, but considering the latter was said to be a recurring character in S3, I’m sure he’d hang around on the Star Nomad to be Hater’s mentor whenever necessary.
See how much creativity you can put into WOY if you put your mind to it? I look forward to seeing fan content related to the Star Nomad.
