watching an LP of ikenie no yoru/night of sacrifice and wow does this remind me of nanashi no game

both of them use fairly similar designs for their ghosts (hollow black eyes and slack mouths) and they also use the EXACT same sighing sound.

they both also have the worst controls in horror history bc they're tied to device gimmicks. nanashi uses the touch screen of your DS where you hold it like a book, and ikenie uses the fucking wii fit balance board

#the ghosts looking similar is admittedly likely a coincidence #onlg so many ways you can make your onryo stand out from another franchise's while still looking human #both also got no international releases #though for different reasons #nanashi allegedly tested poorly w the americans squenix had play it #and ikenie uh. was doomed from the beginning for requiring the balance board
