In contrast her successors successors who always had only one or, in the case of Nao, two different Sailor Neptune actresses at their side. Sanae retired after the musical. She was a guest on the talk show for the 10th anniversary. In 2018, 2019 and 2023 she was at the Akiko Kosaka anniversary concert alongside many other Bandai Myu actors such as Anza, Nao & Yuuka, etc.

As for chemistry: Akiko and Takayo or Asako and Tomoko?

Ew I think people are gonna hate me for this and I hate myself but Asako and Tomoko... ONLY COS TOMOKO IS ACTUALLY GOOD IT SAVES THEM. I did a video on UraNep pairings and I put Asako and Tomoko like 2 places above Akiko and Takayo cos Tomoko just absolutely saved them XD. Like I don’t like Asako-Uranus but I don’t like either Akiko-Uranus or Takayo-Neptune, but I love Tomoko-Neptune, so really it’s just about the maths. Akiko and Takayo had no chemistry and were so forced and ingenuine, but Tomoko brought genuinity and some realistic aspects to Michiru’s feelings towards Haruka, Asako did not do the same so they were very one sided but at least one of them was good XD.

Since Akiko took over the role of Sailor Uranus in SKSD after playing Star Maker in SRD and KOK, I think it would have been interesting if they had cast Chinatsu as her Neptune. Not only that they already knew each other because they worked as a team for two musicals but Chinatsu would have been the second actress then who had played Neptune after playing Mistress 9 xD. Oh, and she was pretty mature, so at least to me it would have worked.

オンライン会議もすっかり日常に溶け込み、打ち合わせからリハーサル、本番、もしくは制作から納品までがベッドルームで完結することも多くなった。

今日も、画面の向こうで仕事相手が「新しくコンポス��はじめた!」というので、えらいすごい地球に優しいと盛り上がっていたけれど、conpostじゃなくてcomposed (作曲)だったかも、しかしブラウザを閉じた今更「堆肥の話じゃなくて音楽の話だった?」とは聞きにくい。

外で人と会うことも少なくなり、待ち合わせといったら時差を合わせて空間よりも時間のほうに位置を感じるようになった。相手が今いる経度を朧げに知るだけで、背景に音楽が広がっているのか、コンポストが置かれているのか予測も立たないほど。入出力の中で噛み砕かれた声。形がうやむやに定まらない単語を頭の中で捏ねているうちに時間は過ぎ去ってゆく。パソコンを閉じて外の空気を吸いに。

駅直結のショッピングビル、改札を出てすぐの吹き抜けには待ち合わせに良さそうな季節のオブジェクトが置かれる。クリスマスツリー、正月飾りにハロウィンパンプキンのバルーン。外出制限のなかったころ、終電から降りれば明日からはじまる季節のために黙々とモニュメントを組み立てる人の姿。私はたまに遭遇するその制作現場が好きだった。今年も一夜にして等倍サイズの桜が満開となったが、どうも花の形よりもプラスチックらしさを目が拾ってしまって花見の気分には到底ならなかった。今年までは。

ある日、吹き抜け側を向いた座席、冷めたコーヒーを持て余してぼーっとしていると目の端で何かうごめくのでふと見やると、造花の先端にハトがとまっていた。 茶色い枝に真っピンクの花、という塗り絵のような彩色の中、カワラバトの緑や紫、明るさも暗さもあるグ レーの羽根は諧調豊かでとても綺麗だ。2階のカフェから見下ろせばすぐわかる。ハトがとまれそうな建物の縁の部分には、どこもかしこもトゲが生やされていて、まだこの周辺を覚えていないからか、迷い込んでしまった若い鳥が羽根を休める止まり木はもうこの偽物の桜しか無い。そして今微動だにせずに本物の樹に変化したのだ。

花見の帰路、地元のパン屋や豆腐屋とスターバックス、マクドナルドが並んで商店街を作り、チェーンかどうか関係なく生活に溶け込んだものだけがこの街らしさになってゆく。商店街の屋外スピーカーはあちらこちらで良く壊れ、あるところではノイズの粒が尖るように痺れるように、変化してなおエスカレーターの位置を伝え、あるところではクラシックBGMが初めの3秒をループし続けて、日常にすこしづつ変化を与えて くれる。鉄が錆びる過程がもともと好きだったけれど、デジタルの音声がこうして魅力的に壊れ、メロ ディーやハーモニーから解放された音の粒に戻っているところに出会うと、空間を移動する旅ではなく、時間が流れて変化する、また時間の位置からも旅立つ音の存在に、開放感と、ある種理想の未来すら感じるの だった。緯度と経度を固定して、今日も時だけを刻んで進む。空間が広さだとするならば、時間に刻まれる痕跡は深さの作る陰影だろうか。渓谷への冒険はまだ始まったばかりである。

In the curtain call of the musical, she talks about Miyuki Kanbe (Sailor Moon) and that she really likes the musicals and Miyuki. This suggests that Miyuki is her favorite Sailor Moon actress.
