Nainativu Island is off the north coast of Jaffna and is home to the Buddhist Nagadeepa Purana Viharya Temple (which Buddha visited twice) and the Hindu Nagapooshani Amman Temple.
I was fortunate to see ceremonies at both - a drumming and dance celebration at the Buddhist Temple and an offering at the Hindu Temple.
