Babe wake up new Tom Bombadil and Goldberry identity headcanon just dropped.

It's Oromë and Vana.

They heard about Hobbits and wanted to see them, then never left and just made the Old Forrest their home. Oromë is called Aldaron, and Tom is the Master. Goldberry's associated with fresh rain and flowers, Vana is the Ever-Young who lets flowers bloom with every step she takes.

The ring has no control over Tom because he's more powerful than Sauron, who has this FUCK moment when he briefly comes face to face with Oromë and just hangs up on their mind phone call.
