Reading riders kissa no 7 ✍️ Today I'm sharing my ride xp of RJN-NGP ride of 29th aug which happens to be my 2nd longest time taking journey. Hop on to know more.... So I was riding around 10am to purchase some house supplies 🚴 the shopping took bit longer & 40kms clocked hence set sail to NGP at 3pm, estimating to reach 12-2am at night in NGP. En route met 400 kms BRM riders of NGP-RJN-NGP so was happy lot of riders are around and doing just double the distance I'm doing as per the rules other cyclists shouldn't ride with BRM riders hence I couldn't accompany otherwise they'd be DQ. . Hence I was riding far behind them I encountered a total of 3 punctures repaired on route + both wheels kept loosing air on reaching NGP as well. . During the first dangerous ghaat section near deori I found Mr. Amogh sir BRM participant who was also going through multiple punctures (5 in total return ride) got him up and running & soon we met again in bhandara. Due to punctures we faced we were 4h behind the troop. Hence we decided to ride together since we have less puncture kits left & was continuously riding without sleep (2-3 short naps) hence it was a good option to keep company. The fear of being left out and not able to make home can give anyone goose bumps like never before. Our lot of energy was drained doing this tedious work of punctures which can easily bring anyone morale down. But good thing we kept together and kept talking and motivating with each other. Despite both being well seasoned riders this was a phenomenal experience for both of us. Good thing we both completed our set targets riding, mine 200 & his 400kms 🙌 I reached my NGP home on 30th 1130pm almost double than estimated time.
