DPXDC Idea: Mother of Monsters Dan(yal)
Specifically Fem!Dan because I made this in mind with my Fem Danyal Au bUT. The best part about Dan is that I get to play dress up with her, and Fem Dark Dany is gonna go by Layal (pronounced lae-el) because it means "the nights" and it sounds similar to Danyal, and I think she'd choose that name to mock Dany. ANYWAYS
Mother of Monsters Danyal. She may be evil but she's an Al Ghul at her core (even with vlad's soul merged with hers - however, considering that Layal looks and sounds like Dany, she considers that soul to be the more dominant one.) and loves animals. And she might be heartless, but she adores the monsters of the infinite realms.
Mother of Monsters Layal who hates everyone but utterly dotes and adores on every manner of beast she comes across. Stealing the eggs and infant young beasts of the Infinite Realms to raise as her own because she wanted them. Her own island full of monsters, a monstrous menagerie of her own. She steals most often from poachers or exotic pet keepers and other menageries -- the full grown beasties can keep their young.
And with every monster she raises, she can shapeshift their features onto herself, allowing her to change her shape from humanish to any matter of monster or hybrid creature. She calls herself their mother, and them her children. Her precious little babies, capable of incredible mass destruction and mayhem.
From little griffins the size of kittens, to stymphalian vulture chicks, and leviathan young hatching from eggs the size of her pinkie, to creatures native of the ghost zone that didn't even have names in the living realm. There really wasn't a limit to what or who she would take in and she didn't limit herself to any form of mythology. If they were beasts and they were unwanted, she wanted them. And as such, amassed her own mini army of "children" willing to listen to her any command.
Earth doesn't know what hit it when she attacks them.
There are many monstrous forms she could take on, the first one I've thought of is a combination of various serpentine/reptilian features. The body of a naga -- her lower half long and serpentine, her upper still human -- with spiked fins connecting from the bottom of her arms to her sides, ever seen Sinbad where Eris goes "you might have seen my likeness on the temple walls" and her arms do that fin thingy? Same concept. Her hands are webbed and taloned, perfect for slicing through the skin of the living, and her teeth are needle-sharp and shark like. Her hair can either be spiny and feathery-like like the spines of a lionfish, or frilled like a frilled-neck lizard. It's perfect for dealing and doting on her reptilian and amphibian-inclined darlings.
I'm more of a fan of aus where Dan is a sibling of Danny's rather than their kid, so Layal's redemption(..?? probation?) proceeds with her legally becoming Danyal's "twin" sister, who had been lost to the foster system before the Fentons adopted Dany, and was only recently reunited with her. The two of them look so alike that the lie is easy to take root and spread.
Layal is very indignant to the fact that she's now ten years in the past and has to restart her menagerie all over again. Do you know how much blood and sweat went into raising those children? How dare you separate them from their mummy. Although she'll admit she does miss their juvenile years, so she won't mind (too much) needing to raising them again. Dany is helping her retrieve all of them though, dammit.
long story short: epic the musical's "Scylla" has a CHOKEHOLD on me and this is the result of it
Unlike her Dan counterpart, Layal's voice is dancing and sirenic. It's purposely alluring and motherly, in order to lure people into a false sense of security until she feeds them to her "children." Echidna doesn't have shit on her. She almost seems friendly and reasonable, until you get too close and realize it was all an act and she drops it to metaphorically swallow you whole. She's like an anglerfish that way. She and Dany both sound like Scylla from Epic.
#mother of monsters danny#dpxdc#danny fenton is not the ghost king#dp x dc#dpxdc crossover#dp x dc crossover#dpdc#dpxdc au#dpxdc prompt#fem danny fenton#fem danyal al ghul#danyal al ghul#dany helps laya find one(1) beastie and instantly falls in love. laya does not need to convince her to come help her rob other ghosts blind#of their exotic “pets” or animals or whatever the reason they have beasts that they shouldn't for. she'll volunteer willingly its a trait#that they share. laya knows that raising her babies will be difficult now that she has to g back to *school* but dammit se's not leaving#them in the hands of the people she found them in. those are HER children fuck you.#Layal is the one to reveal to Damian that his older sister is alive and it was on purpose. It was to send him on a wild goose chase looking#for Dany in order to be around to save her from becoming Layal.#'Tragic. Terribly tragic; your dear sister had her soul ripped from her body and merged with another. What was left of her...'#'well. i put out of its misery.' she's very cloying towards damian and this is on purpose because she thinks its funny to get under his ski#goes out of her way to only ever refer to him as 'little brother' but if she can't she'll call him sickeningly sweet nicknames.#this happens about oooo midway 'redemption'? Where Laya is actually rather fond of Dany and is starting to consider her as a sister#as well. and she likes Ali. Laya herself is still rather unsympathetic to the world around her. only acts on a kindness for 'her people'#her people includes Dany which is why she even actually told Damian that Dany was alive and gave him an incentive to look for her#because she saw DAny mourning another lost birthday for her little brother and decided to go 'aw fuck who gave me feelings' and decided to#make it everyones problem.#starry rambles

Do/did they want children?
Emilia, Evan, Erika
I really had to think about this, this is a very good ask.
Emilia had though about having kids shortly after marrying Russell
However any time she brought it up Russell would talk about his insecurities and worries– both agreeing that bringing a child into the world at the time wasn't ideal
Emilia barely remembers her mother since she had died when Emilia was very young. Her father was abusive, so Emilia isn't sure how good of a parent she'll be
She does think back to it but both her and Russell are active, she has her own clandestine work and Russell is working on retirement
When they finally settle down and help Frank raise David, Alex's son became their god child, in simple words (but they knew they would always be known as Uncle Russ and Aunt Em)
After the 9/11 attacks, Russell re-enlists and is very healthy and fit despite his age so he gets in quick
Emilia is concerned but follows Russ' wishes of her staying retired– but she does still help out when it comes to decoding/intel/interrogations for the CIA/DIA
When Russ is killed in 2009, Emilia is heartbroken, and her mind wonders back to the topic of children– she regrets not being a mother
There were a few times in Evan's life where he thought of becoming a father, wanting to adopt a little one and raise them the best he can
He talked to Naga about it, and despite their brash personalities and extreme living as agents, they did agree on one day settling down and adopting four children
The thought of raising little ones often kept Evan going under dangerous situations, same to Naga– they even wanted to marry
However their plans are cut short in 86' when the government learns of their collective and alliances and a stand off takes place right outside their safehouse
Evan knows evac time is cutting short and knew that the KGB wouldn't stop until they captured or killed them all
He sacrifices himself, holding them off the best he can, and the safehouse was rigged with explosives that Evan would trigger before his final breath
Naga never dates or marries and adopts four children, two boys and two girls, in honour of his only true love
Erika had a tolerance for children, but she didn't necessarily think or care much about them– she has always prioritized work before anything else
She won't admit she has a soft spot for babies, their curious expressions and little noise and how small and fragile they were– she always had the need to protect
After reuniting with Stitch and getting together, the Russian always brought up children
Erika at first was quick to shut down the conversation and Stitch was smart enough to not fight or continue talking about it
But in '83, Erika confronts the idea and knew she wanted at least one kid, so her and Stitch started planning it out (Perseus would have been the godfather but he passed away too soon)
In '84, Erika planned to propose to Stitch, only for news to come in that he has been killed
She's outraged and goes on a murderous spree, killing KGB, NATO, Warsaw– she did anything to avenge her lover's death
The thought of children never again crossed her mind, she disbanded Perseus and joined the CIA as an intel collector officer
She made plans to destroy Russia to free Ukraine, but her plans became futile until 1991
She spared glances at parents doting over their children, she paid no mind to the kids waving at her from their schoolyards– she refused to move forward on any plans made with Stitch

Tamlin let the music lull his badly fractured nerves into the soft hum of active concentration. He set his fiddle away safely and took a seat at his desk. He was no stranger to working late into the night, it was part of carrying his title and the weight of an entire court on his shoulders. He’d not expected to be in meetings past the sun's setting.
He pursed his lips, watching it descend through the western window, with a wrinkle set deeply into his forehead. Stress was his constant companion and spending time with his found family was one of the only things which relieved it.
He was missing a dinner with Lucien and Elain to take this meeting, but given the circumstances he knew that they would want him to be here. This concerned children and they had one on the way, soon. The High Lord needed to do everything he could for Spring — not just his own family. Tamlin swallowed his frustration and pushed his bruised heart far, far away.
All she’s trying to do is reunite her family — just like I have. This is the least I can do.
He cracked his knuckles and organized the papers left on his desk, during his walk. Death certificates, as he’d been warned. Too many of them. One was too many and there were five.
Tumblr media
Tamlin glanced over the first two. Tension settled in his jaw. He reached for his glasses to try to clear the headache which had been building for hours. They belonged to two adolescent boys who’d been caught by a wildly roaming Naga after a well-established curfew.
He’d broken curfew many times as a young boy and it never got him killed. There was still so much wrong with Spring. Thing which even he, a High Lord, could not mend. Even if he spent all his hours patrolling the borders, evil would still find a way to sneak through. He carefully signed his name and moved on, making a mental note to speak to the family himself.
The third was a sentry. Tamlin’s brows knit, he scrawled his name and carefully pinned a note on sending his regards to the family.
The fourth belonged to a mother, who died in labor, and her infant who had not survived brought in the fifth. Tamlin ripped off his glasses and shoved them aside, feeling his emotions rise above their careful containment. A sentry was one thing, and a young fae another; but a mother? Her infant?
What am I doing? I can’t even keep people from dying long enough for new lives to start. I am failing these people. Spring isn’t safe —
A knock on the door interrupted his thoughts. “Come in,” Tamlin said gruffly.
The small brunette, Briar, peeked into the room. She looked better now. She wasn’t covered in mud and her hair was…clean, at least and she wasn’t shivering. Anything else mattered very little. Clean and warm were what he could ensure, not safety.
“Lady Briar,” He uncovered his eyes, forcing his voice to be alert, and hoped that he did not look as exhausted as he felt. “Feeling any better? Warmer, I hope.”
Tamlin did not meet her eyes until he finished signing the death certificate of the baby fae. Then, he sat back in his chair and offered her a simple nod. She’d asked for the meeting and had his full attention. “I have heard your plea. Tell me about yourself.”
the secret side of me @springcourthighlady
It had been a long day — too long. Tamlin was tired and his head ached after spending so long reading contracts and documents with his courtiers and emissaries. He tried not to wear his glasses in court, but now in the soft light of the setting sun, he was happy to have them to assist as he opened his book to the marked page and began to read.
The rose garden was his place of solace and comfort. Whenever his spirit was worn, he came here to rest. Very few knew of the small path off the manicured way that led to a small grove of trees and wild roses. He’d swung a hammock between two of them and rested between the branches, letting the wind sway him back and forth.
In the middle of the chapter, an innocent giggle sprang to life from the pages of the old fairytale that he was reading. Tamlin rubbed his head. Am I that tired?
He yawned and tried to focus again on the swirling letters, but the laughter again distracted him.
He knew that sound. His ears quirked up and his green eyes brightened.
Nyx!
His excitement was followed by an equally intense rush of anxiety
Feyre.
Tamlin peered over the hedges. A flash of black curls revealed the toddler running from his guardian.
He did it! His heart swelled with pride. By the cauldron — I hope she’s not too mad at me.
Nyx stopped, spotting him through the branches. “Tamtam!”
The toddler rushed through the secret entrance and tackled his legs, knocking him to the ground. Tamlin yelped, suddenly upside down, but happily surrounded by hugs from his favorite tiny fae.
He lifted Nyx up into the air, making dragon sounds, until he saw a lovely young woman peeking around the edge of the brambles. His face turned red, hot, and he stood up quickly. His posture stiffened, though the color didn’t fade from his cheeks, or ears.
Tumblr media
“Lady…” It took him a moment to place her. He did try to keep track of everyone who lived in Spring, but the increasing amount of names was making that difficult. “Rose? Was it? Lady Rose?”

Ok so I've been stewing on this concept for awhile but. Ok so we got regular Naga who chose humanity, then F!Naga who degenerated, but what if there was a Naga who chose *Tiki* over both her responsibilities to her tribe and humanity, but ultimately this backfired bc both groups felt like she abandoned them and in the ensuing conflict she lost Tiki to them? I imagine this Naga would be super bitter about both dragons and humans and not believe in either anymore bc both are equally reprehensible in her eyes. That being said, in her travels around the world she finds Grimm when they're still a baby and chooses to raise them better than her peers were. btw REALLY love all your stuff 💕
I’m so glad you enjoy the stuff here because there is a lot of it and it’s all text walls so I really appreciate the people that read all of these words.
But this concept is something that I can 100% get behind as an off the wall AU I mean holy WOW
We’ve seen Naga’s that chose humanity over everything, including her own people (Fallen!Naga), we’ve seen Naga’s that tried to take a middle route and ended up favoring humans anyway (regular!Naga), but a Naga that actually chose Tiki?  One who decided to roll the dice and let her daughter grow up normally?  That’s something that we haven’t seen yet.
Given that Naga is the chief of the Divine Dragons, she might not go so far as to forsake even her people over her daughter, but she would place her daughter’s safety over humanity.  The destruction of Thabes would likely still occur since that was a matter of Duma thinking humans posed a threat to the remaining dragons (though with Tiki still awake, he had even more to protect, since I still believe it makes sense to place Duma and Mila’s exile after the Dragon War, meaning dragon births have almost completely stopped), but this would end up being an even bigger disaster for dragons in the long run than in the regular!Naga continuity.
Here’s the thing about the regular timeline in Archanea: when it’s set up in a certain way, lots of things end up having a cause and effect relationship.  For example:
Because dragons spent a very long time being the effective rulers of the land, when humans began to spread and develop, there were many mixed feelings among the different tribes: some felt disdain for this new weak creatures (Earth Dragons), others felt curiosity and of them and sought to encourage their development (Divine Dragons).  This directly predisposes humanity to favor those tribes that aid them while fearing those that don’t.
Because of the threat degeneration and its side-effects (like falling fertility rates) posed to dragons, the Divine Dragon tribe encouraged their fellow dragons to adopt dragonstones to stave it off; the aforementioned disdain held by other tribes led them to resist and directly caused the Dragon War as degeneration ran rampant among those dragons, leading the Divine Dragons to seal them in the Dragon’s Table.
On a related note, because Naga chose to make Medeus -- the last surviving Earth Dragon who had chosen to use a dragonstone -- the guard of the Dragon’s Table, he got to witness humanity’s mistreatment of dragons in the centuries after, directly fueling his hatred and the eventual decision to found the Dolhr Empire.
Because of the vicious war that provided ample evidence of what happened when dragons degenerated, Naga made the difficult decision to put her infant daughter Tiki -- a miracle birth, given the falling fertility rates among dragon kind -- to sleep for fear that if her powers went out of control even with a dragonstone, the damage would be catastrophic.
Having born witness to the war between dragons that wrought havoc across the continent, humans decided they needed a way to defend themselves; in Thabes, this led to the Senate allowing Forneus to conduct his experiments that eventually gave rise to Grima.
By the same logic, the Dragon War decimated the Divine Dragon population; on hearing that humans were trying to create something that could fight dragons, Duma -- already hailed as the Kingshield owing to his defense of the tribe -- elected to raze the city where the weapon was being created to preserve what was left of the tribe.
This, in turn, led to his falling out with Naga and his exile with his sister to Valentia, and we all know how that went.
Even if she didn’t do it intentionally, the vast majority of Naga’s actions related to and surrounding the Dragon War could be construed by humans to be in their favor.  That apparent favor by the Divine Dragon Naga led them to enshrine her as a goddess.
This view of her as a goddess, coupled with the pact she forges in her conflict with Grima, eventually leads them to establish a theocracy known as the Halidom of Ylisse where the “divine right of kings” is associated with her brand.
Everything is related.  Which means that one little change throws events into chaos.  In the normal timeline, humanity saw Naga seal her own daughter and exile her best friends and decided that she was staunchly on their side; by not sealing Tiki before the events at Thabes, even if she still exiled Duma and Mila, humanity would have reason to remain wary since there are still very powerful dragons that remain in the tribe, which puts them at risk.  Given that Duma destroyed their one potential means of defending themselves, humans might plead with Naga to eliminate any remaining threats to them -- and when she refuses to do so, knowing what it would mean for her daughter, the last of the Divine Dragons would suddenly find themselves beset by humanity...and in spite of their individual strength, what few remained would be hard-pressed to take on so many humans, armed and armored and working together.
Naga likely would not be revered as a goddess in the eyes of mankind: instead, she would be considered just another powerful draconic threat.  Losing Tiki, likely to captivity by humans, would be a devastating blow for her, and one that ultimately leads to the dissolution of the Tribe and the scattering of all the dragons that remain.  Naga would likely do her best to retreat from humanity, since they were responsible for taking her daughter -- which could very well lead her to the ruins of Thabes, lost to the sands and long uninhabited...where she would find the odd little dragon crying in the labyrinth.  She lost her daughter, true -- but she would do her best to protect that strange little one, in hopes of keeping the tragedies of the past from recurring.

I write and write and make comparisons between a swimsuit and themes like tolerance and freedom,
But in this fandom, some people draw more dubious comparisons, especially ones regarding a certain game - and I warned (who?) at the beginning of the FE16 trend that while it wanted to have a Jugdral flair, it obviously failed. You have a sprinkle of Jugdral in FE16, but it’s only a surface image, or even a mirage.
“CrEsT SyStEM”? Holy Blood? No, those comparisons at least were made in good faith and had some merits.
One of the worst comparisons was noted by several friends, a certain someone, wanting to push a certain ship involving a certain character, managed to write :
“Every route makes one villain from Genealogy of the Holy War the hero, Edelgard being Arvis, Dimitri being Eldigan, Claude being Travant and Rhea being Manfroy”
:(
This will not be a post about Manfroy’s hips, you are warned
Who is Eldigan (Eldie)?
A man who is the carrier of Hezul’s holy blood, Hezul being the founder of Augstria, a sovereign state. Everyone loves Eldie, he is good-looking, strong, kind, chivalrous and has the magic blood that makes him able to use his magic sword.
Is he the King of Agustria? No.
The King is a man named Chagall, who has an ugly sprite, doesn’t have Hezul’s magic blood and cannot use the magic sword. He also killed his father, and is really jealous of Eldie.
However, Eldie’s line (House Nodion) has sworn to support the royal line of Augustria (Chagall’s), so even if everyone wants Eldie to ascend to the throne, he will never accept it. Even if Chagall pisses on him, or imprisons him because he felt like it, Eldie will not rebel against his King. Eldie is seen as a Camus, because he will fight and die for Chagall, and his country, when Sigurd is... more or less attacking Chagall (because Sigurd’s forces are occupying Augstria and Sigurd’s orders are to bring peace to the land, Chagall doesn’t want peace and wants to fight to retake his throne). If everything ends well, Eldie will promise Sigurd he will try to talk one last time his king, try to convince him to accept a ceasefire and peace with Granvalle - but Chagall is an ass and beheads Eldie.
Dimitri... isn’t like Eldigan, at all. First of all, Dimitri is supposed to be the crown Prince, instead of being a mere knight sworn to serve the royal family. Secondly, Dimitri doesn’t die because his liege beheads him - Edelgard will never be his liege - he dies either by defending his borders against someone who is bringing war to his lands and wants his head, or he dies because he pursues Edelgard in a three way battle in Gronder.
We do not know what Rufus is like to his nephew, but I am pretty sure he is no Chagall.
The only common points Eldie and Dimitri have is their blond hair, and sometimes, their manner of death. there is also something about bonds with their sisters but we’re not here for that
Who is Travant?
Travant is the King of the Thracian Kingdom, a proto Nohr-like place, where farming is difficult, and the people living there are starving and often turn to banditry or become mercenaries to be able to earn some money.
Thracia’s neighbour, the Manster District (Manster) could export food to Thracia... but they do not, because, well, the people in charge of the Manster District do not like Thracians a lot (and use slurs to talk about them, but Quan is a special character). So Thracians raid the border, with hopes to reunite the peninsula, with the dream that, one day, they will seize the arable lands in the North.
Travant has an infamous line, which more or less went like “I will unite the peninsula for the sake of my people, and if that process dooms me to hell then so be it”.
And to hell he will go, because by Jugdral standards, ambushing Quan and his family in a desert (horses cannot move in sand, another example of gameplay and story integration!) with horseslayers, is despicable, especially since he leaves no one alive, even, apparently, killing Quan’s young daughter Altena.
(Travant ranks pretty high in the douchebag ladder).
With time, Altena grows, unaware that Travant, who adopted her, isn’t her real Father, Quan was. Things happen, Altena discovers the truth, and Travant finally achieves his dream by making a suicidal charge against Seliph’s forces (he doesn’t even bring his magic lance to the fight!), with him dead, finally, the peninsula can be united under one leader.
Claude? Also has a wyvern. And comes from another land than our hero (but which one?). And... that’s all.
If Almyra raids every sunday, it is not because they are starving, but because they are doing it, per Cyril, for funsies. Claude pretends to be a schemer and underhanded, but he never does something on the scale of the Yied Ambush (the moment where Travant pulled out the horseslayers against Quan). Claude never takes a child hostage, and never orders his daughter to punish civilians.
If Claude wants to unite the two countries, it is not because he wants his people to finally leave their life as mercenaries and bandits behind, but because he wants people to understand each other.
Edit because I’m sleeping : Travant will die for his dream. Claude... always survive. Always. I am not saying he doesn’t believe in it, but he is not as desperate as Travant is.
Comparing Claude to Travant is like comparing... Virion to Iago. They are both male with long hair, and pretend to scheme. Bar that? Well... they both have hands...? I guess?
Who is Manfroy?
Manfroy is... both a mastermind and a plothole.
Manfroy was the one in the shadows engineering a war in Jugdral, not because he likes wars, nope, but because he wanted political instability to recreate the Loptyr Empire.
He will help a douchebag to conquer the world, and use him to sire Julius, the only person in Jugdral who can become a host for the dark dragon Loptyr. The last time Loptyr was there... well, apparently it wasn’t roses and sunshines, slavery was rampant and citizens were pitted against each other to make sure the strongest ones would become citizens of the Empire.
Why Manfroy does this? It depends on the sources, but it is heavily implied Manfroy is part of a sect (sect as in group of people practicing a religion, here the Loptyr religion/cult) persecuted by a lot of people in Jugdral - to the point where Agustrians were having witches hunts to chase them. Manfroy and his followers escaped the the Yied desert, touted to be an inhospitable land. His people had no where and no one to turn to, so they prayed to their God Loptyr (who doesn’t give 3 figs about them).
Manfroy is thus the Archbishop of the Loptyr Church. He also killed his son in law, for some reason, and planned to turn his granddaughter in a zombie. Manfroy also supports (and conducts?) the child hunts, basically the plot in the second part of FE4 and FE5 where the Granvalle Empire and the members of the Loptyr Church round up children, take them from their families (sometimes by killing said families) to send them to Granvalle, with the highly suggested goal of sacrificing them one way or another to Loptyr.
On the not-so bright side, Manfroy doesn’t kill Julia - when Loptyr/Julius expressly asking him to do so, because Julia is the only person, story-wise, able to kill him.
What a guy!
Now, Rhea?
There are some comparisons to be made, unlike Claude and Dimitri, but again, it reinforces how they could be seen as foils.
Rhea? Yes, also engineers the birth of a vessel.
However, unlike Manfroy who forced” Arvis and Deirdre to marry and have a baby, Byleth’s birth, born from the union of Jeralt and Sitri, was completely unexpected. There is no trace in canon of Rhea arranging Jeralt and Sitri’s meeting, and future wedding.
Rhea? Also wants her granddaughter to “die”?
Well, not this one, since Rhea thinks Billy is actually an amnesiac Sothis. Billy would just recover their memories.
Rhea? Doesn’t start a war to build her Sothis vessel. Hell, the DLC is about her previous experiment to resurrect her mother - it was a failure, but someone supposes she fails because she did not want to bleed dry the Four Apostles. Rhea wishes to resurrect a benevolent Goddess (when Manfroy knows Loptyr is... far from benevolent) but will not kill to do so.
Sitri? Asked her to save Billy, by offering her own life.
The most interesting foil though is... how Rhea and Manfroy both belong to a community that was persecuted by others, the people they are supposed to live with.
Manfroy? Went the “if the world hates me, then I will hate it and burn it down” route.
Rhea? Doesn’t want to kill humans, hell, she and her brother disagreed because she didn’t want to kill children of the people who wronged her! She opens a monastery and offers guidance to anyone who needs it, a shelter for the needy and tries her best to protect peace and the humans living under her care.
They could have followed the same path, but didn’t. Manfroy rounds children to kill them, Rhea offers a new home to children who lost theirs.
They can also be compared with their “welp” points, Rhea gave CF!Billy the means to destroy her, just like Manfroy “forgot” to kill Julia - and yet, again, it is different. Rhea trusted Billy and never wanted to use them as a tool, in the other routes, it is because she trusted Billy with “those means” that Billy is able to save the world. Manfroy? Berserks Julia, wishes to use her as a tool and suffers when she regains some agency and beats her brother. But even without Manfroy, Julia would have recovered the Book of Naga to end Loptyr.
Rhea and Manfroy are definitely not parallels, but foils.
And the best for the end...
Who is Arvis?
Well... to summarise Arvis in a few words...
it’s impossible.
So, Arvis is the descendant of one Jugdral’s God-Crusader, Fjalar. Arvis is very proud of his heritage, but he also bears Loptyr blood, through his Mother. And yet, since the Loptry blood exists thanks to Saint Maira - the brother of the Loptry Host of that time, Emperor Galle, who rebelled and helped the Crusaders - he is also very proud of this heritage and his two brands.
Arvis’s familial history is a mess, his father was a womanizer and his mother abandoned him (which might have fueled his Freudian complex?). When his Father died, he exiled all of his bastard siblings, bar Azelle (his bastard half-brother, sired to his mother’s favorite maid). Arvis apparently wasn’t interested in women before he met Deirdre and fell in love with her...
But he had time to sire a bastard (on his best friend and confidante).
Arvis wants to build a world free of prejudice and oppression, and wants to build it by... associating with Manfroy, who blackmails him about his Loptyr blood (if Arvis is proud of his Loptry blood, sadly the Agustrian witch hunts are still a thing, and it will not be well seen in Granvalle’s nobility); however, he made it clear, to Manfroy himself, that he will never allow another Loptry Empire to be reborn. Arvis thus uses hiw fellow Dukes Reptor and Langobalt to set up a coup against Prince Kurth (the Prince of Granvalle) to kill him. Arvis grows close to Kurth’s father, Azmur and more or lesses takes care of everything in Granvalle, since Kurth has no heir left.
And, by chance, Deirdre, Kurth’s bastard daughter, thus rightful Princess of Granvalle, appears at his door. She bears the mark of Naga (the special blood of the Crusader Heim), so they marry, and if they have a son, their son will rule over Granvalle, Arvis acts as a regent until then.
(women can’t rule shit in Jugdral)
Then what? His plan is set into motion, all Granvalle Dukes die, he and Sigurd (plus his pals) are the only ones left, Sigurd dies after being lured to a welcoming party, and Arvis becomes the last man standing able to rule Granvalle, who became, through his plans and treacheries through the 1st gen, an Empire.
(and then his son becomes a Loptyr host, vaporises his mom and makes his sister disappear, wrestles power from him and he is reduced to a sad state (oldvis). He makes a last stand against Seliph, after delivering him Sigurd’s magic sword, and dies.)
Okay.
So, now, Edel.
Arvis managed to become the ruling... person in Granvalle by eliminating all of his rivals, and securing a nice marriage. Edel becomes Emperor... because Ionius gave her his crown, as her father.
So they do not rise to power the same way.
Edel never talks about her brands, but Arvis is proud to bear them and proud of his ancestors. Judging by how Edel speaks of Wilhelm I as a traitor who sold humanity to creatures, I am not sure she is proud to bear his blood.
Also, while Edelgard is extremely prejudiced against Nabateans, Arvis wishes to create a world... free of prejudice (his actions though...). He does not mind Manfroy preaching his stuff, when Edelgard will not allow anyone to follow the Seiros faith (friends put it better, but in several routes, the people who were followers of the Church of Seiros are missing in Adrestia...).
While both Edel and Arvis think they are making “sacrifices” for the greater good, as pointed out earlier, this greater good is different. They both ally with a death cult, but Arvis is naive enough to think Manfroy will not backstab him - he even wishes for him to preach his nonsense freely. Edelgard has been hell bent since day 1 on getting rid of Thales and friends.
By the time Arvis learns of the child hunts and Julius’s nonsense... he wants to stop it. He is however powerless to do so (or so we think! Apparently he and Ishtar managed to hide every children captured in a castle!) but, at least, he tried to do something.
Crest Beasts... are still used, no matter the path, and even after Edelgard became Emperor.
Now, if Manfroy had to capture children and round them up for execution to make sure Arvis would become Emperor, would Arvis have supported him? I... don’t think so. If children were captured during Arvis’s conquest of the world and it was a “necessary evil”, would Arvis have accepted it? We don’t know. Prideful as he is, I don’t think he would have agreed.
(which is all kinds of wrong, the man can start wars and backstab friends, allies and turn his own brother to ashes, but hunting children is too much? Meh. And yet, Manfroy mentions something about his ways and his pride being an obstacle to the realisation of his dream).
Arvis is... a complicated character. A douchebag through and through, who tries to redeem himself at the end, but ultimately fails. He is rewarded for his actions in the 1st gen by the 2nd gen, where Julius becomes Loptyr and destroys his Empire. He had it coming? Yes. Is it painful to watch? Yes.
Edelgard... does not face any retribution for her actions.
Yes, she can also kill her (step) brother. But either she didn’t remember it, or only cries after it, and ultimately puts the blame on him - so it is not a sacrifice ?
People doubt her words? Well, it doesn’t matter, Linhardt, Yuri and Lysithea are still alive after their... interrogations. Reptor doubted Arvis’s words? Aida was sent as back-up (and... backstabbed him).
Ultimately, Arvis loses Deirdre (whose ghost chills with Sigurd’s), Julia and Julius, whom he loved dearly. Edel loses... Billy, and some randoms.
So, in a way, Edel feels like a discount Arvis, because she misses his ascension to power and his downfall. Arvis doesn’t mow down enemies on the front lines like she is doing, Arvis maneuvers to ensure victory.
Both fight for ideals, but Arvis seems to believe in them when I cannot believe a world for “humanity” involves continuous making of Crest Beasts.
Both betray the main character, but Edelgard is hit with the uwu hammer, thus cannot kill Billy - Thales does it in the non CF-routes.
So... short story, long story, Eldie is not Dimitri, Claude is not Travant, Rhea is a foil to Manfroy and Edelgard is a discount Arvis.
Also, I don’t know what kind of weed the person who wrote this take had, but labeling Eldie as one of FE4′s villain is as dumb as labeling FE7 Karla a villain because she appears as a red unit you have to fight.
where is edel’s bastard son

Y e e, finally got this done after working on it the past few days... here's the finalized design of what I had in mind for the father of Kaz and Tawnie Shelrovet~ ;p I've been meaning to getting around in properly introducing him, so hope you all enjoy this sneaky snake daddy~
Within the jungles of Laveras, far beyond the normal human civilizations of that country... lived a race of people lurking in the underground known as the Naga. Described as being half-human and half-serpentine, a Naga would usually be the last thing any regular human would stumble upon since they usually prefer to keep to themselves, stay within their own kind, and keep any trace of them quiet so that nobody would dare to bother them... In comes the runt of the Naga leader's brood, Malachi (*pronounced "Mal-a-kai*)... whom decided to chuck all these self-reclusive rules to do some "exploring" of his own among the human grounds. This seemed to naturally earn him some scorn among his kind for being so reckless and nonchalant... eventually leading to being straight-up banished for awhile when they caught word of him becoming a thief/con artist to make his own living. To Malachi... he really didn't give a damn either way, for in his eyes he felt better to be on his own, free to do what he liked than to settle with the "stuffy types"... For many years ahead, Malachi would continue his business of swindling the naive human folk who would come across him... thinking of him like that of a living god for how decorated and suave he was than anyone else they've seen in Laveras. The bags of gold and jewels they give him would continue to decorate his private cave that he'd call a home... but then, for as time would pass he began to feel rather "suffocated", having so much riches among him... but no one to truly "share" it, with... Then came the fateful day he would soon never forget... when he came across the exhausted, near-unconscious form of a beautiful, well-dressed Graystone woman by the name of Gladionna Shelrovet. Past instincts of Malachi were telling him to leave her be... maybe even take some of those pretty jewels from her neck and ears... but yet, there was something about this lady that prompted Malachi to instead take her back home, and mend her back to health.  Granted, her waking up to a half-snake man taking care of her took quite some... "adjusting" for a woman like Gladionna, but once she sensed the genuine warmth, and sincerity within his slit-eyed stare... she strangely felt calm enough to open herself up to him. She soon proved to the Naga that she was no mere naive, gullible human... but a strong, determined yet deep down lonely-hearted woman who only wished to gain some respect for herself, beyond just her own upbringing and social status. Something that Malachi, the scorned former-prince, found himself relating quite alot to, in a way... and so, within the weeks that'd pass, the unlikely pair of the sly snake and fierce business lady grew even "closer" than anyone expected... thus it wasn't much of a surprise that Malachi would be quite saddened that he had to let his dear Gladionna go, once she felt better enough to rejoin her tourist group. But, perhaps it... might not have meant to be after all... ...Which, in a strange twist of fate... proved to be even more false once some time passed by, and Gladionna became reunited him with a lil "surprise" of her own... or, more like two surprises, when she showed the sleeping duo of babies nestled safely in her arms. Now, hybrid cases like this wasn't something all that... "common" with Naga folk (with again, their normally-secretive natures prevented much human interaction), so seeing this presented to him was a... pretty big shock, to the usually sly-faced con man. But well, fate seemed to be quite fond of giving him all sorts of unexpected ventures for him to take in his own hands... so from here on, this would be his family. While maybe not the most "conventional", for how Gladionna would still have to primarily stay back at New Grayle to run her jewelry business... there wouldn't be a time when she'd take any and all break opportunities to grab her children to travel back to Laveras, catching up as much as they can. And well, knowing how Kaz and Tawnie turn out as the slyest duo of siblings as young adults... they can surely thank their dear ol' dad
for teaching him all he knows, Naga culture and all~

Chapter 8 - The Birth of the Second Generation
Part 2
With the welcoming of spring came signs of unrest from Lewyn’s uncles.
When Lewyn left Silesse, it had immediately brought the confrontation between Dakkar and Maios over the crown to a stalemate. Now, Lewyn’s return caused them to become enemies again just as quickly.
Crusader Ced’s Holy Mark had already appeared on Lewyn, so they no longer had good reason to argue against his ascension to the throne. However, both Dakkar and Maios had long since convinced themselves that the crown was theirs, and wanted it as if it was a treat dangling before their eyes.
Silesse’s landscape was divided in two sections, the north and the south, by a rugged central mountain range. Maios had already claimed the north, and Dakkar the south, and agreed that they were each the king of their respective region. Their plan was to have Maios take control of Lewyn’s Sailane Castle, and Dakkar take control of Queen Rahna’s Silesse Castle, though both of them were truly plotting to take out the survivor, and conquer all of Silesse.
Queen Rahna wrote a letter to the King of Grannvale expressing her wish to see Sigurd’s honor restored, attached a letter from Claud to it, and sent it to Balhalla.
However, the return letter demanded that she hand over the traitors immediately.
Queen Rahna and Claud’s letters had clearly been intercepted by Reptor.
Not only that, but Reptor had a secret agreement with Dakkar to send reinforcements to aid in the attack on Silesse. He also secretly sent a messenger to Maios, offering ten thousand gold coins for Sigurd’s head.
But while all of these events were happening in the background, there was still time before the conflict would take form.
-
Peace continued in Silesse through to the end of its short summer.
During that time, Sailane Castle experienced a baby boom.
First, Ayra gave birth to twins, a boy and a girl. The elder twin, the boy, was named Ulster, after a hero of Dozel; and the girl was named Larcei, after the lover of a hero from an Isaachian folk tale.
Next, Aideen had a boy. He was named Lester, after the founding king of Verdane.
Lachesis also gave birth to a boy. He was the spitting image of his mother, and was named Diarmuid, after her grandfather.
Brigid also gave birth to a boy that looked just like her. Aideen was the one to suggest his name, Faval, after one of the past successors to Yewfelle.
Tailtiu was the last to give birth, and the child was yet another boy. He had the same silver-blond hair as his mother, but otherwise looked just like his father. He was named Arthur, after a king from a Grannvalian folk tale.
The summer winds from the southwest died down, and on the day that the cold winds from the northwest began to blow, Queen Rahna rode with Mahnya as her guard to Sailane Castle.
It had become normal for her to visit at least once a month, and talk to Sigurd.
They conversed freely about whatever came to mind, from negotiations with Grannvale, to news from all across Jugdral, to life at Sailene.
While there were times where they only talked about current events, Sigurd came to look forward to her visits. He’d lost his mother when he was a child, and Rahna’s kindness and warmth reminded him of her.
But on that day, after explaining that negotiations with Grannvale had still not progressed, Rahna warned Sigurd to be wary of Duke Maios’ movements at Torve Castle.
“Maios has always wanted this castle. According to the information I just received, he’s already well prepared for battle. He may attack at any time, so please be careful. If you do end up fighting, I am supposed to deploy reinforcements, but… Duke Dakkar of Zaxon is targeting Silesse, so I must bolster my own defenses.”
“Please do not worry, Queen Rahna. I will defeat the Torvian Army with my own forces.”
“You’re right. You are already a hero who will go down in history, after all. Oh, and by the way, some good news has come out of Grannvale.”
“Really? There’s some good news?”
“Yes. Prince Kurt actually had a daughter. She’s been found, and all the country is overjoyed about it.”
“What? ...Is that true?”
“When she was brought before King Azmur, he knew she was his granddaughter the moment he laid eyes on her. And when she revealed that she had Naga’s mark, there was no disputing that she is a direct descendant of the Balhallian royal family.”
“Wow… That is good news. It means that the royal bloodline continues on after all!”
“And she’s in love with Duke Arvis! The people are saying that he will become the king, and there will be a huge wedding for them soon!”
“She’s marrying Duke Arvis?”
“Those who have met her say she’s a very beautiful princess, and a perfect match for him. ...They must be so happy.”
Her final words made Sigurd wince.
“Oh, I apologize, Sigurd. ...I made you remember your wife, didn’t I?”
“You don’t have to be sorry. ...It’s already been over a year since my wife… Deirdre… disappeared. I have no idea where she is, but we love each other with all our hearts. Wherever she is, that is the one thing I know hasn’t changed.”
“You will find, her Prince Sigurd. I’m sure of it…”
“Yes, I believe so too. I will reunite with her. I know it.”
Just then, Lewyn poked his head into the room. Sigurd took the hint, said he had cleaning duty soon, then left the room.
“Then I should start heading home. It’s already pretty late.”
“You can’t go just yet, Mother! You spent hours talking to Prince Sigurd, so you can’t ignore your real son!”
“My son abandoned me and went far away three years ago. I don’t know who you are.”
“Ha ha ha, I deserve that. Are you still mad, Mother? I’ve already apologized many times…”
“Of course I am! You have no idea how much I worried about you! No son of mine would ever be that thoughtless!”
“If you are still angry, then I will apologize again. But I’ve come home for good, so please forgive me. I’ll fulfill all my duties to you as your son. I’ll get married and give you grandchildren. I’ll even massage your shoulders right now!”
“Don’t treat me like an old lady! I have a lot to discuss with you. Come to Silesse some time soon. And don’t forget!”
“So you’re going to take me away from my castle again? Oh well…”
“Only if you’re willing to listen to me.” Rahna said, then stood up and left.
When Lewyn tried to see her off, Mahnya came up to him, and whispered, “Prince Lewyn, Queen Rahna may speak like that to you, but she’s actually very happy. She has so much more energy now that she knows you’re safe.”
“I know. It runs in the family. None of us will show how happy we are if it means giving in to someone. ...Anyway, Mahnya, I want to thank you. Please continue to take care of her. Or at the very least, make fools out of these uncles of mine.”
“Yes. As the leader of her pegasus knights, I will guard her with my life. Please stay safe, Prince Lewyn.”
“I will. Oh, but I want Erinys stay here, if that’s okay with you.”
“My sister…? If that is what you’d like, then please be sure to keep her by your side. She…”
“You don’t have to say it. I understand.”
Mahnya stared at Lewyn in shock.
When she saw the look in his eyes, she felt both reassured and lonely at the same time. “Prince Lewyn… Please take care of her.” Mahnya said, then jogged to catch up with Rahna.
‘Whoops, I finally crossed that bridge.’ Lewyn thought. ‘I didn’t mean to say something like that to Mahnya. But I do have a tendency to just blurt things out…’
He climbed atop the castle wall, and watched the two women fly back towards Silesse.
Once they were no more than specks in the sky, he noticed Erinys flying back in from the south, having just finished her reconnaissance duty.
‘She works every day, from morning until night…’ He thought, and suddenly felt his heart well up with love for her. ‘When she comes home, I’ll confess to her. Her sister already knows everything, so I have no reason to keep holding things off any more.’
But now, he had to figure out just what to say.
‘“Marry me” is too plain. “I want you” sounds like something Sigurd would say, and “Let’s be together” sounds too vague. “I can’t live without you” is a bard cliché.  “Rule Silesse with me” is way too grandiose. ...Simple really is best, isn’t it? But which is better? “Marry me?” or “Let’s get married?”’
Erinys landed her pegasus next to him.
He smiled slightly and started to walk over towards her.
She dismounted her pegasus and blurted, “Prince Lewyn, we’re in trouble!”
“What’s wrong?!”
“The Torvian Army’s wind mage unit is moving towards the border!”
“Then I’ll alert Sigurd straight away.”
“Understood!” She rushed towards the stairs.
“I love you, Erinys.” He whispered, but she was already too far away to hear him.

The Heart of Immortals
Thank you so much for the support and patience as always, @breeachuu! I had a blast writing this, I hope you likey!
Summary: Wolfram had been specifically chosen by Naga to undergo a very special mission -- to travel to another world by the name of Fódlan and help one of the many suffering children that inhabited it. Someone who bore something very special and key to that world’s salvation.
Commission info HERE and HERE!
_______________________________
It took less than a minute for the then-empty kitchen to pack itself with manaketes, all jostling one another with Nidra at the front, facing Wolfram.
The mother felt her mouth twitch in nervousness, the faint holy presence Naga left in her wake making her youngest's words ring even louder in her ears.
"Your... 'destiny's call', my son?" Nidra gulped, taking uncertain steps in Wolfie's direction.
As though leaving a trance, the boy blinked, finally focusing his gaze on his mother, seeing all of his siblings hustling behind her. "Was that as weird as it sounded now that I saw it through in my mind?" Wolfie's shoulders sagged as he chuckled, his hands slightly trembled from having probably (he'd never be sure about that, even years later) touched Naga's very skin once She made her contact.
Both Cynthias exchanged overly excited looks as their big brothers opened their arms in unison. "This is SO EPIC! YOU HAD AN UNPRECEDENTED VISIT FROM NAGA HERSELF-" The older Cynthia leaped from under Nidra's arm, set on pouncing on her little brother.
"No!" Nidra clenched her fists and stomped her foot on the ground, a very timely and most likely intentional tremor shaking the house in response.
Cynthia's pigtails deflated along with her whole body as she fell flat on the floor. "Uh, Mom-"
Cyn reached out for her mother from behind as Meli glanced from Wolfie to Nidra and Meliodas placed a hand on Cyn's shoulder. Henry peeked his head out of the door to Wolfram's left, carrying the bag of herbs he had stepped out to get only a few moments previous.
"I guess I didn't feel this whole holy presence 'cause I'm not a manakete, huh? Nyaha!" He dropped the bag loudly on the floor, clapping the dust out of his hands right after. "Aight, guess it's Mom and Dad time, yeah? Everyone but Wolfie, out!" He clapped cheerfully, walking towards Nidra to steer her towards their youngest son, her body shaking slightly.
As the youngest opened his mouth to continue, Nidra's swaying in front of him made he reflexively reach out for her, though Henry was the one who caught his faint wife. "Ohh..." Nidra took one hand to cover her forehead, her eyes spinning. "Not my little baby..." Her voice got weaker and weaker until it turned to incomprehensible mumbling as consciousness slowly left her.
The children all turned pale in the face as Henry never lost his smile. "Whoopsie, guess that was too much for good ol' Ni-Ni, huh?" He teased, adjusting her in his arms. "This has been funsies and all, kids, but now we really gotta talk just with Wolfie, alright? C'mon, kid." He gestured with his chin for the boy to follow him towards the stairs. "We'll be at the nest and don't worry about your Mother, 'kay? She's gonna be fine after we talk a bit. I'll call you guys over when it's time."
Cynthia hugged both Meliodas and Cyn, her eyes so wide they almost bulged out of her skull. Meliodas himself shook slightly, not wanting the memories of a future past to shadow the excitement they were just experiencing.
Noticing his older brother's lack of color, Meli immediately caught on the reason Nidra's fainting shook his eldest siblings so much, taking it upon himself to take their minds out of it. "Hey, Brother? Big Sister?" He softly took their hands in his, feeling them tremble. "While we wait, I wanted to show you two something."
Following Henry through the corridor, Wolfram didn't have time to wonder why only his eldest siblings turned silent so quickly, his mind much too focused on the vision he had seen.
A field bathed with blood. A battle so fierce the red never left its soil -- a massacre so brutal the ruins still remained to ever remind the people of what had transpired.
Memories of a distant past mingling with the present, though its bloody history remained unchanged.
A single survivor of a tragedy, the dead haunting their every step.
A lonely soul, the last of its line, tortured to the mind-breaking point.
An outcast, forced to survive inside a den of enemies.
A life that wasn't supposed to survive, yet by joining with Immortals it was given a second chance.
The setting sun bathes the full winter coat of every wolf in a foreboding scarlet glow. Hunters spread the word that the red wolves are back on the prowl.
A voice, one that felt so familiar, so intimate -- as though a mix of a Mother's and his own inner voice --  a sound one could only stop to listen and appreciate. The voice rang, not actually speaking, but simply delivering the message, as though the words were always in his mind to begin with.
"Help the one with the Heart of Immortals. The fate of a long lost child is finally within our grasp. Go, my champion, and aid the one that's forgotten their purpose, but who has never been forgotten by those they left behind."
"Heart of Immortals, huh?" Henry mused, one hand over his chin in thought as he petted Nidra's hair with the other. Nidra, on her part, rested on her husband's lap, all wrapped around the blankets of their nest as Wolfram sat in front of them.
Pouting, the matriarch fought back the tears she had finally managed to quell. "Hasn't our family suffered enough? Our firstborns fight an impossible war, turn back time to save their parents, fight yet another war and now- now the only one who knew nothing of fighting-!"
"There, there, Ni-Ni." Henry pinched Nidra's cheek, making the pout deflate. "Well, this might be an inevitable prophecy? Is that what is it? Welp, anyway; this might be an inevitable prophecy and all, but what I wanna know the most is: how're you feeling about all 'a this, Wolfie? You're the one who has to choose and I actually mean 'choose' it, you know? I don't mind it at all to fight even your god if it means to protect you from it." His usual smile faded for a split second, a dark shadow covering the mage's face. It soon shifted, however, "nyaha! We already overthrew one ancient overgrown lizard, after all!"
In the face of her husband's blatant blasphemy, Nidra did one thing and one thing only: she nodded in accordance, slowly getting herself to sit up. Manakete as she might be, she was now a Mother; and would topple her own Mother to save her children.
Overcome with emotion, Wolfram could only clutch his chest lest he burst into tears right there and then. Nidra had always followed Naga's words down to the T and yet, there she was -- ready to throw hands at their god just to protect him.
Oh, gods, how he was going to miss them!
"I... I wanna go." He said finally, a lump forming in his throat just by thinking about leaving. "There're people who need help, Mother, Father. And Naga said that only I could save them! But honestly, even if I were only part of the rescue party or something, I'd still be raring to go! I don't wanna see someone in need and turn my back to them."
Nidra sniffled, her eyes once again full of tears. "Oh, my boy... Come here," she opened her arms, welcoming her small (who towered over her by at least 15cm, but he'd always be her little baby) bundle of joy into her chest. She kissed his white hair, so alike to his Father's. "You truly are your sister's sibling, aren't you?"
"Nyahah, and your mother's son, no?" Henry patted his wife's back, making her chuckle as the tears rolled down her cheeks. She simply squeezed the boy in her embrace further, digging her face into his hair.
"I'll have a long talk with Naga about all of this and come to a compromise." She declared after a few moments of silence. "I am warning that I will not allow you to stay away for too long! We are to stay together as a family for all eternity!" She tugged on his shoulder, making him chuckle.
"I wouldn't want to stay away for too long, Mother! Our family means everything to me!" He grinned, pulling away to look Nidra in the eyes. "Though I'm really really nervous, I can't wait to see how this is all going to turn out!
To give Nidra the space to talk to Naga, Henry and Wolfie went downstairs first instead of calling the horde to their nest. Once they reunited, Wolfie disclosed everything about the vision and the message to his siblings, receiving equally high amounts of excitement and joyful yells.
"Do they have dragons there?!? Will you be able to transform? Or hide yourself? Ohhhhh, being an undercover manakete in the works would be so cool!" Cyn struck a pose, though quickly hopped where she stood.
"You'll obviously take Aquilo with you, yeah? OOooh I wonder if they have more wyverns on the other side? What are their pegasi like? You gotta tell us everything when you come back!"
"Oh!" Meliodas gasped loudly, making all eyes turn to him. "We were going to teach you how to make your friendship jewel before your 16th birthday, right? Maybe we should just teach you right away..."
"Oh, yes, I learned when I was 16 as well..." Meli pondered as Cyn nodded beside him.
"That will not be necessary. Well, the teaching part will be, of course. But no need to make haste in your teachings." Nidra's voice surprised all present, all of them too focused on their little brother to notice their mother's presence approaching.
"Mother!" They said in unison, expectant.
"Hah," Nidra sighed, still not used to the idea. "Come here, my boy," she reached out to Wolfram, who promptly got up from his seat to hug his mother. "My little boy, my baby..." she kissed his cheeks, getting on her toes to do so.
"Um, Mother? How was the talk?" Unbothered by his mother's smothering, Wolfram tried to look down at her under her kisses and hugs.
"I've spoken with Naga," she sighed once again. "And we have come to an agreement: you will depart on your 16th birthday to this foreign land."
"One year to prepare!" Cyn mused, "whoa, one whole year!"
"We'll be able to get you ready for anything!" Meli puffed his chest, exchanging winks with his eldest brother.
Nidra bobbed her head to the sides. "This is a truly foreign land, not unlike the one our three friends delved into for five years."
Cynthia opened her mouth to ask if Rammy was going to Valla, but Nidra kept talking.
"There are no manaketes there, or at least they do not want to make their existence known -- so you will have to hide your dragon half to the most of your abilities. Perhaps the reason you were chosen was because you resemble a human the most..." She whispered the last part, being heard only by Wolfram himself, who smiled brightly.
"Thank you for giving birth to me just the way I am, Mother! I wouldn't be who I turned out to be otherwise." He bended down to engulf his short Mother in a big hug.
"Oh, you silly boy, what are you doing -- making me cry at a time like this? I haven't finished!" She sniffled, patting his back so he would let go. Once he did, she dried her eyes before speaking. "I have also given a deadline... You must be back no matter what after seven years pass. So do your utmost to save everything that needs to be saved within that time, you hear?"
Henry burst into laughter beside his wife. "Wahaha! What? And the Almighty Naga just said 'yeah, okay, don't worry, he'll come home before 10pm in seven years, stat!'?"
Nidra stepped on her husband's foot, "she did say that whatever was afflicting that world wouldn't last the decade -- if it wasn't resolved within six or seven years, then it would be too late."
"This keeps getting better and better..." Cyn said under her breath, her eyes gleaming. Cynthia nodded beside her sister, almost drooling.
"Yeah..."
Wolfram giggled, the excitement his family felt somehow melting away any nervousness he felt. "I just need to stick to the one with the Heart of Immortals for seven years? Easy!" He laughed.
"Say that again, short stuff!" Henry arm locked his son, pulling him away from Nidra. "One year seems like a lot, but it passes by so quick you barely notice! We're gonna work you to the bone, so get ready!"
Meliodas made some sort of math in his head, lifting one finger for each point he remembered. "Yes, there are quite a few things we need to get ahead of schedule to teach you."
"Also flying tricks!" Cyn hopped as Cynthia nodded.
"And we'll have to procure a headband for your ears... Maybe get in a sewing crash course or two just in case, as well."
His heart full, Wolfram couldn't hold back a loud laugh. "I can't wait to learn everything! Don't go easy on me!" He said, his face red with anticipation.
Watching her children and husband get along made Nidra shed a tear before shaking her head in acceptance.
True to Henry's words, the year went by so quickly it made Wolfram's head spin. His siblings and parents truly didn't go easy on him -- they crammed so many survival tips, battle techniques, flying tricks and even some melding and crafting into him he felt ready for quite literally anything!
The time and place for the crossing would be once the clock ticked midnight of the 30th of October -- Wolfram's birthday -- at the Mila Tree.
"To think we will not be able to spend this precious day together," became Nidra's signature complaint during that short year.
The entire family made the trip to the Mila Tree in a never seen before event: five manaketes flying mixed with a wyvern in their midst. Henry rode on his wife's back, though he and Wolfram laughed the whole time, finding the scene too amusing not to.
Once at the Mila Tree, Nidra refused to let go of Wolfram, even as the hour approached. Tiki, Nah and Nidra herself would serve as bridges for Naga to channel her power through them and open the portal at the roots of the Tree -- so it was of essence that Nidra took her spot by one of the roots instead of staying with her son the whole time.
"It's gonna be okay, Mother. I have the locket you gave me right here," he pulled out said locket from his chest, a proud smile etched on his face.
"Oh yeah, kid," Henry rummaged through his pockets. "And this here is from Dad here," he placed a pocket watch with a badly designed crow inside his son's hand. "The hour's prooobably not gonna be the same when you cross over, so maybe change it up when you arrive? Nyaha!"
"Father... It's the crow I've always asked you to draw when I was young..." Wolfram choked with emotion, finally feeling that the separation was real. "Thank you so much... I'll never change the hour so I'll always know what time it is here, back home, where I belong."
The moment Nidra was about to be even more emotional, she felt it. A strong current of power, almost sweeping her away. "Oh... Oh, it's here. Get ready, my Son." She squeezed his hand before stepping away to go to her spot.
The wind blew, the leaves sounding as though they whispered. The voices of the elements conjoined as the space in front of Wolfram seemingly distorted itself inside-out. A faint light glowed from the three manaketes standing side by side as they channeled the power of a god through them towards the spot their hands reached out to: Wolfram.
The light ebbed away from the women to the boy, enveloping him in the warmth of a Mother's embrace. He felt his fingertips grow numb as the spot in front of him grew larger and larger -- a door of some sort, engulfed in light, called to him.
Instinctively did the boy reach out to it, his entire body being attracted to what lay behind it. Hypnotized, he walked towards it, barely hearing anything around him, his hand grasping Aquilo's reins simply because they were already inside his fingers.
"Bye-bye, Rammy!!" Cyn and Cynthia yelled atop their lungs, waving as though their lives depended on it. Their screams echoed with Meli, Meliodas and Henry, all wishing him safe travels and health.
Blinking, still out of it, Wolfram simply smiled to his family. "See you later!" He said and in the very next moment, as though he were never there to begin with, he disappeared.
He felt the not-quite touch once again, guiding him through the countless pathways he saw flickering all around him -- from above, below and beside him, paths leading to Naga-knows-where stretched out as far as the eye could see.
Yet, in the next moment, he opened his eyes, startled. "Wah!" He huffed, his lungs so tight he felt as though he had been drowning on dry land. "Where- is this that other world? It's just a normal forest for now..." His mind raced.
Aquilo was nowhere to be found, but through their bond Wolfram could feel that the wyvern had also made the crossing. "Calm down, Wolfie, you might be on your own, but your family's with you." He forced himself to breathe until he could do so normally. "It seems to be nighttime here also, though this cold- it's... a lot more than I expected." He quickly turned to his oversized backpack, taking out the warmest coat he could find and bundling himself up with it. "It's also winter here, it seems, though it's a LOT colder than Ylisse's..."
Looking around and finding nothing but leaves, Wolfram looked up in search of the sky. "Should I give the forest a sweep from above?" He reached for the locket whence he kept his dragonstone, but stopped himself before even giving the idea much thought. "No... it's better to avoid transforming until I know for sure no one's gonna see me. For now let's look for Aquilo, then the both of us can look for shel- oh!"
The moment Wolfram tapped into his dragon half to assert Aquilo's location, he felt the presence of not only one, but two Ancient Blood, much like the manaketes from back home, yet bearing a fundamental difference he couldn't quite pinpoint at the moment. There were another two presences of the Blood, but they were weaker... Perhaps halflings just as himself? Either way, Wolfram knew which way he had to go after fetching Aquilo.
But for now, he had to deal with the human presence he felt approaching rapidly from behind. Assuming attack stance, Wolfie reached for the tome in his waist, ready to throw around some magic if need be.
"Show yourself!" A dignified voice shouted from someplace at Wolfie's right. "I will not hurt you if you simply come out peacefully!"
"Oh, is that right? Then okay." Wolfram's shoulders sagged. "I'm a bit lost, actually, maybe you could help?"
"H-huh? Oh, um, that is... not what I was expecting a stranger in the woods to say in the middle of the night, but..." The voice approached, as did the rustling of leaves towards Wolfie's direction. From the spot emerged a tall, blonde young man dressed in some kind of uniform. "I shall do anything in my power to help." He bowed politely. "Who are you, stranger? And how does one get lost so late into the night in Garreg Mach?"
Oh, he looks friendly, thank Naga, Wolfie thought as he sighed in relief. "Um, I'm actually not sure myself... I was about to go thaaaaat?" He pointed towards the presence of the Blood, remembering the fake setting he and his siblings came up with, "that, yes, that way? And then I got lost and that's... basically all I remember, honestly."
The young man gasped, quickly approaching, his face painted with worry. "Poor thing; to get lost in this dense forest while having no memories! Were you perhaps about to enroll at the Officer's Academy?" He pointed to the general direction Wolfram had mentioned.
"I... was? I suppose I was, yes. If the Academy's that way, then I probably was going to enroll, but... yeah." He kicked some dust, feeling rather guilty from managing to convince the youth so readily, but not about to let his disguise fail out of pity.
The young man sighed with empathy. "Do you remember your name? Or what you were doing around here at all? The school year already started quite a while ago -- were you lost around these woods all this time?"
"School year? So it's a literal Academy? Whoa," Wolfram mumbled to himself, squinting. To the blonde young man, it looked as though the strange boy was simply searching his memories for something. "I don't think I was wandering around for that long, no? I know for sure that I'm not from here, otherwise my muscle memory would activate, right?"
"An outlander? It is a wonder you managed to come so deep into Fódlan territory relatively unscathed; though judging by your attire, there is no mistaking that you are not from here... Maybe you were supposed to be the other exchange student we never got once the year started? I, myself, only saw Petra, but I did hear we were supposed to get more students from outside Fódlan..."
Wolfram clapped, as though he remembered something. "That's it! Maybe that's what I am? But I can't recall this Academy at all... Ugh, this is so frustrating!"
"You poor thing." The young man shook his head, his expression full of pity. "Please, allow me to help -- I will guide you to the monastery so you can speak with the headmaster and archbishop, Lady Rhea, and sort it all out."
"That would be a delight, um-"
"Oh, how boorish of me! I'm Dimitri Alexandre Blaiddyd and I am a student at the Officer's Academy. A pleasure to meet you, stranger-"
"Wolfram- ah, um, I'm pretty sure that's my name, anyway. Nice to meet you, Dimitri! Thank you so much for all you're doing... to someone you've only just met, too!"
Dimitri shook his head, changing the weight of his body to another leg, "please, think nothing of it. If I see someone in need, it is my duty to help them, whether they are in Kingdom territory or not."
"Duty...?" Wolfram tilted his head to the side. "Oh, well, duty or not, you're trusting me while I have nothing to give in return! And yet, I still must ask something of you..."
The blonde young man had begun to lead the way, "if it is within my power, I will be glad to help, Wolfram."
"Could you tell me more about this place as we walk? Maybe that'll trigger some memories..."
"Oh, is that all? Gladly! Perhaps starting from the date and year would be more appropriate..."
As they talked, Dimitri led Wolfram out of the woods that surrounded a place called Garreg Mach Monastery -- and the more they approached it, the stronger the presences of the Blood became, so Wolfram was glad he was on the right path.
"Normally I wouldn't have the authority to meet with the Archbishop without an appointment, but perhaps if Professor Byleth is with us, we can get you to talking to her in no time."
"It's the middle of the night, though? Won't it be a problem?"
Dimitri chuckled, "I would not say 'middle' of the night so much as 'a bit past sunset', but I do understand that the sun setting so early might look strange in outlander's eyes."
"Oh, so it's not midnight or something..."
"Quite the contrary," Dimitri said, the laughter still in his voice. As they passed the gates for the monastery, they turned left after the little bustling market. "This way; let us meet my- ahem, our professor first before heading to the audience hall."
Wolfram looked all around, finding everything as amusing as it was mysterious -- the way the monastery was built somewhat resembled the castle in Ylisse, though the very stones felt as though they were imbued with some sort of power he couldn't quite pinpoint.
Distracted with the scenery, Wolfram didn't realize they were walking straight towards one of the strongest presences of the Blood, only realizing it once Dimitri came to a full stop. "Wolfram, this is our professor, Byleth. Professor, I would like to ask something of you..."
Wolfram felt as though a sudden gust of wind blasted him away so sudden was the surge of power he felt emanating from this Byleth person. He felt a magnanimous presence lurching around her, as though protecting her from any and all influence, good or bad.
The Heart of Immortals!
Opening and closing his mouth like a fish, Wolfram used every ounce of power inside of him not to leap around and laugh like a mad man, yelling "I found her! I found the Heart!" at the full capacity of his lungs.
I found her, everyone! His mind blared, a smile escaping through his lips. Now I just need to stick to her!

Alright so, the awakening self insert.
Pix, a Dark Mage- or a Manakete, depending on the version of the world you reside in. However, the Dark Mage world is the most developed, so let’s start talking about her.
Her body and spirit were picked up by the actual Goddess Naga, who wanted to do something with timelines. details unclear, gods can be tricky. Pix was given magical talent akin to her creative ability- a lot- and a dark mage outfit, then tossed into the world to fend for herself.
Pix woke up in a field, with 1. her purse, with her phone, 3DS, and other items that were in it when she transferred 2. weird new clothing on her body 3. a belt with a tome in the pouch on it??
and then there were bandits, which were fought off by... you guessed it... the shepherds. Naturally, Chrom asked if she could fight, and Pix “lied” (didn’t know) and said yeah she could, and then got recruited to the shepherds and got a room at the gallards or whatever it was called, i don’t know.
thus began the journey. Pix practiced with her magic and found that whoaaa it feels cool, but also wait, she feels some Dark Magic with this tome, but its sort of weird and blah blah, okay, shepherds find robin and the storyline of the games happen, but with Pix in tow...
except maybe not? i might change some of the plot, but i haven’t thought about that. Anyway, basically, while Pix is wandering through some towns, she hears an oddly familiar voice, and turns around to see none other than our lovely flirt himself, Inigo. She, of course, goes over to talk to him, and he actually is surprised by that because he’s still a bit immature and thinks nobody wants to talk- ANYWAY
he and her decide to go talk, and Pix, also being a younger teen at this point (the insert is like, 16 at this point,) decides to use Inigo for food. Because he takes his dates for food. What, she’s food motivated sometimes.
So then she invites Inigo to the shepherds, and Inigo freaks out a teensy bit but doesn’t want to tell Pix because it involves meeting his mom (and Pix guesses that this might be the reason, but doesn’t want to make it clear to him that she knows this shit)
so, because Pix happens to be lucky, she also meets up with Severa (hasn’t met up with dude who steals her mom’s ring), Nah (doesn’t get stuck in the mansion), and sees Laurent but isn’t able to catch up to him. Well, Nah and Severa join the army, and- oo, change could stem from that...
that aside, Pix also develops her Dark Magic skills late at night, trying to figure out magical spells that involve the sacrifice but also don’t sacrifice living beings, and uses her knowledge of molecules in the air in order to Do Shit. Miriel stumbles upon this one day and Pix sweats about that. there’s a plotline there i’m sure.
blah blah blah inigo and pix get closer via late night talks and revealing their secrets before the two year time skip. Pix thinks ‘oh i’ve gotten over my feelings for Inigo now that i’ve spoken to him like a Real Person’, then talks to Severa and severa gives her this Look.
Pix realizes later that she was really, really wrong. But WAIT THERE’S PLOT and feelings get shoved to the backburner until the kingdom is at peace and the shepherds are let out to do peaceful things.
theeeen pix and inigo get together and date sometime. during the time skip. not that they want people to KNOW THIS but they do try to get a house (and it works because this isn’t america) and go exploring because Pix wants to do more w/ her magic and they need work so they’re a mercenary duo
severa and nah join them so then they become a mercenary group because, for some reason, pix attracts the future kids like Flies (maybe some ocs but let’s not go that far) and Pix sweats every time the future kids try to go around the fact they’re from the future because Inigo has to go ‘she knows, actually she knows a lot??’
vague details because its vague, but inigo and pix become Romantic and stuff- and the other future kids are. kinda shocked. because it’s inigo. Then the two years of peace stop when valm’s invasion is heard of, and the group goes over to stop it at the port and, of course, meet up with the shepherds.
blah blah blah pix gets some pointers on making magic babies from Tharja and Henry blah blah mercenary kids join group and reunite w/ parents and heartwarming moments blah blah valm blah blah grima
i clearly haven’t thought out the game, sue me.
then after its all over, and Pix doesn’t go home, Pix decides to get working on making magical babies, and, after lots of slime piles with personality, Pix gets it right and makes Soleil! She has Inigo name the first successful baby. Also the slime piles w/ personality are their pets. Pix would’ve felt bad shoving them into the wild.
And then Pix got tempted to make another kid after raising Soleil for a few years and makes Luna, naming her, and then walking w/ her up to Inigo and going ‘hi we have another child now.’
and they live in peace, because inigo ignored the call to go to Fates. Nah picked it up instead.

Submission: Attempt at Pregnancy Headcannons: Azura & Selena
Hey there! Love your blog and the FE Fates games, so I decided to take a crack at writing some. Lemme know if you think I did any justice to the characters, of which I only use two of in order to work my way up (also, I tend to be a little rambly or wordy - sorry in advance XP)
Mod Lilith: Because it was very long, just to help keep the dashes alright, I put the actual headcanons under a readmore. Thank you for submitting. I am glad you enjoy the headcanons and fics. These are very detailed. You did a great job.
Azura
Motherhood was not something Azura had planned on, what with the issue of Valla hanging over her head. She’s not unhappy about bringing a new life into the world, but she IS anxious about what kind of world is there to meet them.
Azura has a surprisingly big appetite, so one of the things she secretly enjoys about her pregnancy is the free pass to eat her fill without reservation - downing a large ramen bowl in one sitting draws a lot less eyes if you’re expecting (not that she ever cared what others thought of her, but it can still get annoying when people stare; especially strangers). That being said, she balances it out by keeping active with walks and dancing - being able to indulge herself more often doesn’t mean she’s going to let her health and fitness fall by the wayside.
Being a dancer also makes her very aware of changes to her center of balance, so she’s more easily able to notice and compensate for the changes in her weight distribution. Unfortunately, it can also make her hyperaware of her state, which can lead to overcompensation - simply put, she’s much less naturally coordinated than she’s used to, which is harder to deal with if the mood swings are in effect.
Said dancing experience also makes it very disconcerting if she can’t keep track of her footwork. For instance, the day Azura realized she couldn’t see her own toes caused an abrupt burst of tears, and Corrin’s confusion on the subject doesn’t do her any favors.
Azura is used to being reserved, calm and generally in control of her emotions, so the mood swings and potential lethargy are very difficult on her for the first few months before things taper off - especially in regards to her “worst bedhead in the army” issues, which she now has dwindling patience for if she wakes up sick. Corrin’s likewise not used to being the least emotive of the pair, so having to be the couple’s sounder source of stability has a bit of a learning curve.
Azura has singer’s lungs, so it a bit easier for her to move around late-term without getting short of breath. Her calm temperament mixes with this to give a good proficiency in the breathing exercises she does in preparation for labor.
Azura sometimes sings to her tummy in private, getting easily flustered and embarrassed if anyone sees her - even Corrin, though she gets over it with him easily enough. Interestingly, Shigure and Kana both had different responses to her singing - the former was calmed, if not lulled to sleep by it, while the latter seemed so excited by it that Azura would half-swear the unborn babe was trying to dance to her songs.
Both labors were relatively straightforward affairs, with Azura showing a model calm throughout the process - moreso than Corrin, at least. Actually holding each child brought tears to her eyes, which in turn brought tears to Corrin’s.
Kana sometimes used Azura’s hair as a blanket. That or her hair literally tried to eat her - who knows how it gets so tangled up and tussed about like that.
Selena
Kana was definitely not planned, considering Selena’s time in Nohr was always meant to be temporary. So to say she’s terrified is an understatement, no matter how much she tries not to show it, with Corrin having to make sure she takes it one day at a time.
As always, Selena is pretty insecure about measuring up to her perfect mother - something else she always tries to hide. Thankfully, Corrin can reassure her that she’s got greater experience with positive parental figures compared to him (Garon wasn’t exactly an ideal parent after all).
Having little chill at the best of times, all the annoyances of pregnancy’s first-term are magnified tenfold in Selena’s cause - and everyone is aware of it. The morning sickness and digestive trouble is bemoaned throughout the day, the aches and pains are fussed on throughout the night, the cravings are as fickle as the wind, the mood sings are borderline apocalyptic - and the order these can happen are about as reliable as Setsuna’s memory.
Even when the worst of the symptoms level off, Selena often feels torn on how to feel. On one hand, she hates feeling like an invalid that other people have to take care of and stubbornly insists on doing anything she’s still cleared for on her own. But on the other hand she really enjoys being spoiled and pampered by Corrin (no matter how much she won’t admit it or will complain outwardly about it).
Already insecure about her body, pregnancy makes Selena even more critical of herself - except with the upscale in her bust-size, even if it mostly temporary. And Gods help you if you so much as suggest she’s forcing the buttons closed around her stomach, because you will be lectured about how said item “clearly still fits.” Even to the very end, she she never stops being annoyed at outgrowing most of her wardrobe.
Thankfully, the above also lead to one of the more enjoyable parts of maternity for her; the shopping sprees, which become both therapeutic and compulsory as she’s hellbent on Kana wanting for nothing - baby clothes, baby toys, baby food, a crib, maternity clothes, accessories for said clothes, clothes and accessories for Corrin to match hers with; you get the idea.
Selena’s competitive streak sometimes comes out whenever she thinks it’s a contest between her and the baby for Corrin’s affections (“If you’re gonna stare at my stomach so much, maybe you should have married IT instead of me!”, for instance, is one of many ill-thought-out lines she may blurt out now and again). There are also more lighthearted instances; if Kana starts kicking, Selena will sometimes push at each spot she feels a kick in what almost approximates a game.
While the childbirth itself had no complications, Selena is not at all prepared for the realities of labor - which results in no small amount of half-crazed rambling, ranging from pleas to gods Corrin doesn’t recognize (“Oh, Naga, please get this kid out of me!”) to vows against ever getting pregnant again, smattered with the occasional curse. All while crushing the hell out of Corrin’s hand while saying things like “Don’t you dare let go”.
Of course, she also apologizes for her frenzied rambling during labor in her roundabout way - which the big softie Corrin accepts - but she does reaffirm on wanting to, at the very least, wait a fair bit before having any more kids; she wants to focus her attention (i.e., love) on the one she has first.
Selena’s number-one priority is to ensure Kana never has to want for anything the way she did in the Grima Timeline - not for food, not for clothes, not for a home and, above all else, not for parents. This means that leaving Kana in the Deeprealms was completely heartbreaking for her (though she would never say so openly) and reuniting with them was hugely overjoying (which she’s a bit more likely to say in private).

My reaction on TG:re chapter 150
1. A BIG MEETING between Goat and CCG! Love it!
2. Kimi looks so beautiful and OMG she’s actually allied with Hide all this time.
3. The Goats and their beautiful masks, but where is the Daughter? Where is Hinami?
4. WHEN WILL NISHIKI REUNITE WITH KIMI?? I mean I miss them being together okay!
5. AMON AND AKIRA LOOK GORGEOUS TOGETHER! Are they officially a couple? And HIDE LOOKS LIKE THEIR SON I CAN’T!
6. Furuta’s finally out of the picture. Good.
7. Koori is like, “I can’t believe Amon and Marude came back alive. If that’s the case then I want Arima and Hairu back as well.” Poor him…
8. Charismatic Amon made his wise speech IT’S SO BEAUTIFUL! It is exactly what has been in his mind since his first interaction with Kaneki back then in TG. You’re right CCG’s goal is not to eliminate all ghouls but create a peace.
9. SAIKO I LOVE YOU! Yes Goat is the perfect choice to work together with if you want to save Maman. And you need to be introduced to Maman’s best friends too they are all good guys, and of course Maman’s beautiful wife, Touka, she’s currently carrying Maman’s baby and you can be his/her neet aunt.
10. MY SON URIE, I’M SO PROUD OF HIM! Yes, son, you did the right thing blackmailing Marude like that LOL.
11. TOUKA HAVEN’T I EVER TOLD YOU THAT YOU’RE SO BEAUTIFUL? Oh, always? well it’s because YOU DESERVE IT!
12. And my other son, Ayato, looks handsome as always. (I bet inside his mind he's like, "oh damn! I look cool, don't I? Well, I think I do. Yes, I do!" Hinami help your silly soon-to-be boyfriend pls) But, listen, never go MIA again, okay? AND NO MORE DEATH FLAGS FOR HIM PLS!
13. Suzuya, I have mixed feeling about you since you defeat Hinami chapters ago but in this chapter you’re so cute. I remember that you said you were willing to be ghoul back then (and I kinda forgot the exact words but that’s the point) now you are going to work with the ghouls you were trying to eliminate. And the fact that other CCG staffs are finally okay with it is mostly because of you and what Marude said about you is beautiful.
14. Finally CCG has decided to join force with Goat to save Kaneki and the city. Finally, the story has significantly moved forward since Kaneki turned into that monster. I’m so excited for the next chapters!
Bonus(es):
15. I wonder what Clown thinks about this progress. Will they just watch and not interfere? What about Furuta and V?
16. Where are those underground kids Ayato brought along with him? What’s the purpose of them here in the surface? What about their Nagaraj (or Naga or something, forgot the name) because from what I understand, the previous OEK experienced the same thing Kaneki currently is.
17. WHERE IS TAKIZAWA SEIDOU?? IS HE STILL ALIVE? I mean look at Amon, Akira, and Hide, they are already looking like a family picture there and I forgot when was the last time I saw him in panel…

Starring Natural Star Nani in the lead role, the musical romantic-drama fared well at the ticket counters and Sam went a step further from her famous portrayal of Jessie and brought out the intricacy of her character well. She looked gorgeous throughout the film in Nalini Sriram’s costumes and fitted the bill as a teenager during the high school portions too.

08/9Krishnaveni and Priya in Manam (2014)
Regarded as the fitting tribute to ANR by Nagarjuna & Co, Manam left the audience mesmerised with its heart touching story, brilliant performances and soulful music. Despite having a limited screen presence, Nageswara Rao excelled like no other in the role of Nagarjuna and showcased his ease in expressing varied emotions like that of a kid’s naughtiness, a brooding son, and a stern-yet-funny grandfather. Samantha looked picture-perfect in both her roles of Krishnaveni and Priya in the Vikram Kumar directorial.

vampire AU headcanon dump
Prompto was turned in Fociaugh Hollow. Instead of the Naga snatching him away, it was a vampire that lived in the cave. She grabbed him and pulled him further in, and by the time the others caught up, she’d already bitten him and given him some of her blood. She wanted him to replace her “baby.” He panicked, terrified, and shot her. The boys caught up just in time to see her dissipate into black smoke. Shaken, unsure of what happened, he only mentioned that he'd been bitten. Ignis treated and dressed his bite, but when they made it to camp, Prompto couldn’t sleep. He huddled up in a corner of the tent, staring at the other three while his stomach alternately turned and growled. He only snapped himself out of his daze when he found himself inches away from Noctis’s unguarded throat. Horrified at himself, he fled the tent, hoping for some fresh air, but happened upon a sleeping herd of garula. He found himself attacking one, killing it easily despite being on his own, and drank its blood until the hunger eating away at him was quieted to barely a whisper. Upon returning to camp and reuniting with the others, it was obvious something was wrong. He asked for patience, promising to tell them, but he needed some time to organize his thoughts. Of course they didn’t deny him that. He didn’t find the right way to tell them. He was still thinking by the time they wandered into a coeurl’s territory, and distracted as he was (both by the thoughts and by how uncomfortable the sun was suddenly making him), he was badly injured. Gladio finished off the coeurl while Noctis and Ignis rushed to Prompto’s side, but despite the deep slashes across his chest and stomach, the blond was already sitting up. The wounds healed and closed even as they watched, and he looked up at them with frightened eyes. “Guys... I think something is really wrong with me.”
The sun doesn’t burn or kill him, it just drains his energy. For spoiler reasons, I’ll only say that it’s related to the circumstances of his birth.
He has fairly small fangs (only a bit longer than his canines), but they’re sharp. He has a slight fang-lisp early on in his new unlife, and tends to accidentally nick his lips by accident.
He can eat, though too much food makes him sick, and garlic especially so.
He can survive on animal blood, and prefers to do so, but it doesn’t taste as good and leaves him far less satisfied. The thirst eases somewhat, but upsets his stomach, and he’s always thirsty again much sooner than with human blood.
His guns are now a last resort. He tried exactly once in a regular hunt after his transformation, and his ears hurt for hours. He sticks with the auto crossbow instead, after asking Cid for some modifications to make it quieter.
Silver does burn him (ironic, considering his name). He needs to be invited into any building that isn’t “public” (he’s still able to visit stores and hotels).

I'm a little confused with your headcanons regarding your muse. You say he's Prompto's brother, but he's also the prince of Niflheim, but he's Verstael's son, not Aldercapt... but he has Aldercapts last name... but he's actually Loqi Tummelt? But he can summon the Armiger, but if he doesn't know about his history then does he know he was blessed by the Crystal? Wouldn't that be a telling sign? It feels very confusing, I'm just asking for clarification. :)
Tumblr media
Hey~! I’m sorry I make my muses so complicated usdkctyasdhvtfdrk. I need to stop that OTL Technically this prince is still in development too. I mean I barely started RPing as him because one of my muses took over haha. I also made this blog I think around the middle of last month or late last month? But anyway, allow me to try to explain the best way I can.
Warning though: This post is going to get long, because I have no idea how to shorten things sometimes
Also once again for those that may be reading this, all of this is completely headcanon/AU-based, because “canonically” we literally know nothing about the supposed Prince of Niflheim and he never made it to the final project. Like I said before in my previous post in regards to the whole “Loqi situation”, if Loqis out there feel uncomfortable about this or feel like our muses may not be able to interact due to complications, we don’t have to 100% go with my headcanon that Hamlet is the “real” Loqi. And hell “Loqi” and “Tummelt” can probably be common names in Niflheim lol. They could coincidentally both be named “Loqi Tummelt” cuz it could possibly be a common name in Niflheim haha. You can also unfollow me if you feel like your muse really wouldn’t be able to interact with mine due to the complications haha.
Another warning: Things might get dark and messed up and become kind of disturbing, and there will be mentions of blood.
This Loqi here, AKA this muse, is the real Loqi. He was born before the Loqi we know in the game. He’s not the same Loqi we know in the game. This Loqi was pretty much adopted by Iedolas and he gave him the name “Hamlet Aldercapt”. Iedolas was aware that Verstael was going to have a son and he and his wife had already given him a name: Loqi. Loqi RPers that follow me can think whatever they want and I will respect their portrayal and headcanons, but for me when I started working on this muse I tended to headcanon the Loqi we see in the game is either actually one of Verstael’s failed experiments that didn’t get turned into an MT or a daemon, or Verstael adopted him and knowing his wife (Emilia) wanted to name their to-be-born son Loqi, he named him Loqi Tummelt. He was going to give him his lastname, but despite becoming a literal crazy mad scientist and probably did other horrible things, he did regret abandoning Emilia and their unborn son (at the time) behind, so he wanted something to remember his wife, I guess? Haha. And so the Loqi Tummelt we see in the game, Verstael gave him the name Loqi Tummelt so he wouldn’t forget his wife, Emilia Tummelt. Also why did Verstael abandon his wife and his at the time unborn son? I had said in one of my other previous headcanons that she was drugged to become a daemon later by Verstael, but then I had a thought to change it since it’s a canon fact that Verstael actually use to be a man that wanted peace for the world of something. Anyway, there was a contagious naga daemon they ran into that carried a disease and it was about to attack Verstael. When that naga daemon was about to attack him, Emilia pretty much took the hit and was bitten by that daemon. Verstael knew that when she had been bitten by that daemon that carried a contagious daemonic disease, she would eventually turn into a daemon too. Emilia was also 6 months pregnant with Hamlet AKA this Loqi. I’m gonna call him Hamlet from now on to lessen the confusion of having two Loqis haha.
When Emilia was 8 ½ months pregnant with Hamlet, Verstael abandoned her in that ice cave(?) at that waterfall place where you can fight that Midgarsormr monster. He was there in hopes he would be able to seek Ramuh’s aid so he could be guided to the correct path for peace or something like that, because Verstael was actually a man that wanted peace until things happened (and either Iedolas or Ardyn got to his head and now Verstael is a literal mad scientist). He also wanted to seek aid to cure his wife from the daemonic disease she got from getting bitten by a contagious naga daemon (Luna wasn’t born at the time and there was no oracle, and Ardyn had been stripped of his healing abilities). He saw Emilia had already become literally blinded from the disease that took over her. Half of her face had also become affected, turning slightly black/gray from the disease (oh shit, sounds like the starscourge disease). This is where Verstael leaves her and unborn Hamlet behind, because he knew she was going to become a daemon and he was also afraid of the possibility that she would give birth to a literal daemonic child, because you know, if you’ve become contagious and you’re pregnant, the disease can actually spread to your unborn child too.
A month later, Hamlet is born in the cave that Verstael abandoned him and Emilia in. After she gave birth, of course she would be weak and frail, and so because she had become frail from giving birth, she then became a naga daemon.
Coincidentally, Ardyn was passing by this cave because he wanted to speak with Ramuh for whatever reason, despite knowing Ramuh may not want to talk to him because the Gods/Astrals probably do not like him since he literally became impure from healing others from the scourge in the past long long ago, he hears the sound of a baby crying and finds it. He was aware Verstael was going to have a son, and he did meet Emilia before. Ardyn actually never planned on doing anything to Emilia because he saw no point in it, I’d just like to point that out, and so he literally never did anything bad to her (yay). They’d talk sometimes as acquaintances, but not as much. He was also aware that Emilia was pretty much affected by the scourge, thanks to the contagious naga daemon that bit her (Emilia told him that). So while seeing Emilia as an unconcious naga daemon, and seeing a newborn boy beside her, Ardyn figured out that the newborn boy there is Emilia and and Verstael’s son. Now here comes the blood mention. When Ardyn found “Hamlet”, he literally saw in blood the name “Loqi T” on the baby. Emilia wrote that on her baby with her own blood in hopes someone would find this child she named when Emilia became no more. I won’t dive into how she wrote it with her own blood because even for me the thought of it is EXTREMELY disturbing, but hey, it’s for the sake of story development, but I’m still not gonna dive into how exactly she wrote “Loqi T” on her baby in her own blood. She didn’t use a knife or any sort of sharp object, I’ll tell you guys that though. BUT ANYWAY… Ardyn figured the “T” was suppose to spell “Tummelt”, but Emilia had already fallen unconcious as she tried to finish writing “Tummelt”. So Ardyn figured the baby was suppose to be named “Loqi Tummelt”. Emilia’s lastname is Tummelt, and Verstael’s is Besithia.
Here’s where this Loqi becomes “Hamlet Aldercapt”:
Ardyn took the newborn kiddo back to Niflheim and he actually did take care of the newborn kiddo a bit with nursing milk formula he bought at a store while he was still in Lucis lol. When he returned to Niflheim, he presented the newborn kiddo to Verstael, informing him in his manipulative tone of voice that Emilia had given birth to the kiddo and he shouldn’t have left them behind. Verstael examines the kiddo, seeing he is a human boy and not a daemon (yay). However, he thinks that considering his wife was infected, his son may be even part-daemon, because of the daemonic disease his wife had been infected with. Unfortunately he does have a little bit of daemon blood in him because of that, but no one knows if it’s infected or not. No one literally bothered to check. Even Ardyn, but Ardyn gets a feeling that it might be, but who knows? I wanna leave it up toothers and even myself to make things fun haha. Ardyn also informs that Emilia turned into a naga daemon and is most likely no more of who she was before when she was a human. She probably won’t remember when she was a human, Ardyn assumed, and he tells Verstael he should “reunite” with his wife for the better, but then Verstael is like “Nope. If she can’t remember me or our son, I can’t go. I’m totally not scared boo hoo,” and starts getting all edgy on Ardyn hahahaha. Ardyn pretty much is like “Okay, I’ll just give him to Iedolas. Bye loser.” So Ardyn goes to Iedolas and informs him about the whole situation where he found Hamlet, his mom turned into a daemon, his dad apparently doesn’t want him because he’s afraid of his son, yadi yadi yada. And then Ardyn thinks “Heyyyy, we could use a Prince for this nation to you know, defeat the other nations and he can bring us some hostages that we can make daemons and MTs out of, because Verstael needs experiments. That might be cruel though, but it’s not up to me. I’d take him but unfortunately I’m unable to raise a child anymore without being such an asshole that I am, and I do not want to be responsible for how I raise him.” Iedolas considers the thought of raising Hamlet to be a prince and to also probably screw with his thoughts later when he grows so he can be in second place to take Niflheim’s throne when it’s time for Iedolas to go, and to also pretty much guard the crystal, lead an army of regular soldiers and MTs, etc. Basically Iedolas wants to use him to do his dirty work, so he decides to adopt this Loqi and give him the name “Hamlet Aldercapt”.
When Hamlet turned a year old as a baby, he had basically been blessed by the crystal to actually become Niflheim’s new Emperor when it’s time for Iedolas to go, which had also granted him the ability to summon multiple weapons like the Lucis Caelum bloodline. I like to headcanon that only royal bloodlines can summon multiple weapons and that it’s up to them if they want to grant their followers the ability to summon weapons as well. Hamlet doesn’t know he has these powers until he turned 8 years old, he was mentored by Ardyn on how to control his abilities, but at the same time it was sort of manipulation so that he could end the Lucis Caelum bloodline as well as the Nox Fleuret bloodline and the Aldercapt bloodline. In a way this was so there would be no more monarchy and war, and everyone could live in peace without monsters or something. In reality even if there was world peace, there would probably still be monsters out there somewhere. Hamlet has no idea that he was blessed with the crystals powers, and Ardyn doesn’t really tell him about it but just tells him that he was born and blessed with it, but he doesn’t tell him the crystal blessed him with those powers.
NOW FINALLY, ABOUT THE WHOLE THING ABOUT THE LOQI WE KNOW IN THE GAME AND PROMPTO:
The Loqi we see in the game, I tend to headcanon he was abandoned somewhere in Niflheim by his own family too, and I guess luckily he was found by Verstael. While Verstael was feeling the guilt of abandoning his wife and kid because he feared his wife was going to become a daemon and that their son was probably going to become one too, he adopted that Loqi, and even before Hamlet was born, they had already decided to name him Loqi, but who’s lastname was he going to have? Verstael’s or Emilia’s? Going back to the thought on Emilia, in the end she most likely started to hate her husband for abandoning her while she was frail as well as their son who was unborn at the time, she gave him her lastname, Tummelt. Meanwhile Verstael, he still wanted a part of his wife with him, and even though the Loqi we see in the game may or may not be related to Verstael by blood, he names this abandoned kid he fount “Loqi Tummelt”, so now I guess there’s two Loqis lmao. The Loqi who is actually a false prince, considering that he’s actually Verstael and Emilia’s kid by blood, and a Loqi that Verstael found abandoned somewhere in Niflheim.
As for Prompto, we all know he was a test tube baby or something like that, but before I get into that, warning: this might get disturbing. I’m assuming “canonically” Verstael made him with his own DNA in a test tube or something like that once again. He had a bit of Emilia’s DNA on him too. I won’t get that deep into it because I even find it quite disturbing, but I have it in my head for logical development reasons lol. I’ll just say though that Verstael and Emilia did do the do, and the rest of the thought is up to you guys on how he still had some of Emilia’s DNA on him. BUT ANYWAY, so Verstael made Prompto with his and Emilia’s DNA in a test tube thing. In reality, I hate to say, but if we consider that Emilia is pretty much dead and she turned into a daemon, that would leave Prompto motherless and technically if we consider that he was a test tube baby, he is “canonically” motherless, because Emilia is pretty much dead, but even with that I still like to think that the naga daemon we saw in that one cave is Hamlet’s mother as well as Prompto’s mother because if she were still alive and if life hadn’t kicked her ass and Prompto was born from her, she’d definitely be his mother too, making him and Hamlet related by blood. SO ANYWAY AGAIN, how is Prompto related to Hamlet? Because Verstael is actually Hamlet’s dad too, but Hamlet doesn’t know that and he doesn’t know that he’s actually not of royalty, and as we know, Prompto was a test tube baby made by Verstael’s DNA (and Emilia’s), which would make Verstael Prompto’s dad too, and that would make Hamlet and Prompto related, biologically. I guess considering Verstael had adopted Loqi (not Hamlet-Loqi), that’d make Loqi their brother too, even though they’re not related by blood at all to Loqi, but Verstael adopted him, so therefore Loqi is Hamlet and Prompto’s brother too.
TL;DR
I SUCK AT EXPLAINING, BUT HAMLET HAD A FUCKED UP LIFE. VERSTAEL ABANDOEND HIM BEFORE HE WAS BORN, ADOPTED THE LOQI WE SEE IN-GAME AND NAME HIM AFTER HIS AT THE TIME UNBORN SON AND ALSO GAVE HIM HIS WIFE’S LASTNAME TO KEEP A PART OF HER IN HIS THOUGHTS OR SOMETHING, AND HE MADE PROMPTO IN A TEST TUBE WITH HIS AND EMILIA’S DNA, AND THEREFORE HAMLET, LOQI, AND PROMPTO ARE RELATED. Hamlet is the oldest, Loqi is the middle, and Prompto is the youngest.
I’m sorry my muse is so complicated and it’s my fault that I make everything complicated ;^; But I hope this starts to make sense????? Hamlet pretty much knows nothing about his true identity with being the “real” Loqi Tummelt and that he’s the son of a regular but evil mad scientist (Verstael), and the son of a regular nurse (Emilia). Hamlet is not of royal blood at all and neither are his family, but the crystal chose him to become the new Emperor of Niflhiem, because Iedolas was going to die eventually and deemed Hamlet would be worthy. Hamlet would probably be the first non-royal to have become an Emperor for Niflheim.
