Magnum’s Bollywood Gala at Lakmē Fashion Week X FDCI - Zeenat Aman, Sobhita Dhulipala, Jennifer Winget, Naga Chaitanya & Vedang Raina spotted!!
As the Lakmē Fashion Week X FDCI frenzy concluded, the Magnum couture lounge became a hotspot for A-listers. Zeenat Aman, Sobhita Dhulipala, Jennifer Winget, Naga Chaitanya, Monica Dogra and Vedang Raina were not only seen indulging in ice-creams, but also customized their own Magnum’s at the Iconic Dipping Bar.
The lounge also saw Kiran Rao, Gayatri Bhardwaj, Sushant Divgikr, Rohit Khandelwal, Suman Ratan Rao, and Parul Gulati amongst others delighting in their personalized creations.
From runway divas to trendsetters, no one could resist crafting their own indulgent Magnum ice cream. With flavors as fabulous as the fashion, and toppings as trendy as the trends, the Dipping Bar was a hit that had the crowd lining up for more!
Expressing the uniqueness of the experience, each of them went on to say.
"The word indulgence is easily associated with pleasure in my books. Just as I thrive in going beyond stereotypes in my work as an actor, my Magnum creation today reflects that same creativity. The toppings - Golden Shimmer, Roasted Hazelnuts, Almonds, and Chocolate Crispies are classic and indulgent choices, mirroring my love for all things bold yet timeless", said Sobhita Dhulipala.
Jennifer Winget said, “Acting is at the core of my identity, allowing me to authentically express my emotions and personality, akin to meticulously crafting a Magnum at a dipping bar. Each choice of toppings, such as rose petals, raspberry crunch, and a chocolate star, mirrors the diverse dimensions of my personality”.
"Shoyu gave me the opportunity to venture into a space I am extremely passionate about, and associating with Magnum elevates that feeling. The decadent chocolate, indulgent luscious sauce and a final crack of Magnum chocolate at the Dipping Bar, is a true sensorial experience that elevated my senses. Overall, it gives each and every person a chance to let their Magnum express themselves, and my Magnum was truly an extension of myself - elegant, luxurious and fun!”, said Naga Chaitanya.
Vedang Raina said, “Indulgence is my escape, where I enjoy life's best moments. Whether I'm acting or singing, passion drives me. Crafting my Magnum indulgence was like creating a masterpiece because I felt that toppings like bronze crunch, cacao nibs and chopped hazelnut are a reflection of my creative and passionate soul.”

Summoner/Naga C-A Support
Written by @ p-riama
C SUPPORT
(y/n): You’re not a God, are you?
Naga: That is correct. How curious… You’re the first human who’s come to me to say such a thing.
(y/n): Did I offend you?
Naga: Not at all. Many worship me as a deity and some despise me as a false god. It is quite amusing that you come forth to me in such a manner.
(y/n): Truth be told, you fascinate me a lot.
Naga: Oh? How so?
(y/n): Well, out of all the people in this castle, you’ve been alive the longest it almost sets you apart. Even from the other dragons.
Naga: Is it my age that interests you the most?
(y/n): It’s one of the things that do. If you don’t mind me asking, how old are you anyway?
Naga: Hmm… I would say I am over 30 millennia…
(y/n): Wow… Impressive!
Naga: In dragon years.
(y/n): Huh. How old is that in human years?
Naga: Let’s see… Hmm… Approximately… 200 million years.
(y/n): HOLY SHIT!
Naga: I said approximately.
[(y/n) and Naga have reached support rank C.]
B SUPPORT
(y/n): Naga, I’ve seen your human-esque form and your dragon form. Heh, the latter sets the fear of God on plenty of the people here.
Naga: I apologize for the inconvenience.
(y/n): No worries. If they can handle world jumping, they’ll get used to you eventually. Anyways, as I was saying… Are these your original forms? Or are they disguises?
Naga: What a bizarre inquiry. Where do you get these ideas?
(y/n): Well, where I come from there are stories of, uh, eldritch beings that are so unimaginable by humanity’s standards that if a person were to look at them they’d lose their minds and probably die from shock.
Naga: Hmm. Eldritch, you say? I suppose that word describes me well. I’ve been alive for far longer than even my kin and, as you said in the past, that sets me apart from most; my might can level the earth beneath our feet and no army can hope to match me. As for your question… The form you see now and the dragon you see in the battlefield… They are guises, yes, but also my true faces.
(y/n): Huh… I don’t really get it.
Naga: Let me explain with an example. When you came forth from your mother’s womb, did you look as you do now? Or were you a smaller and naked human, too frail and helpless to even stand up?
(y/n): Ha! Well put. Both faces are my own, as you said.
Naga: Indeed. It is the same for me. I am no God, no matter how much the children of man insist on saying I am. I can bleed and my existence –if long lasting- is finite. The shapes I take, the faces I wear… They are all me. My guises depend on the surroundings and circumstances.
[(y/n) and Naga have reached support rank B.]
A SUPPORT
(y/n): Naga, I have another question.
Naga: Came to inquire about my physicality once more, Summoner?
(y/n): Heh, no. I wanted to ask… Well, Duma and Mila call themselves gods. Grima likes to think the same and the folks from Jugdral say Julius is the vessel of god-dragon Loptyr. How come you didn’t adopt that same idea? I mean… You’re far older than they are and far mightier! What made you not believe yourself a deity?
Naga: Because I am not. I have seen the dawn of species. I have seen the rise and fall of empires and I was aware that the age of dragons was coming to a close unless we did something about it.
(y/n): Sealing your powers within dragonstones.
Naga: Yes. Us dragons, no matter how mighty, we are still just creatures of the earth. If we were to continue living, changes were to be made. We either learned to adapt to the new circumstances or we perish. Of course, as you know, not all of my kin agreed on the decision.
(y/n): Stubbornness is universal, huh.
Naga: And it was that stubbornness that led to countless wars and countless deaths and the ravaging of the land. Change brings strife and vice versa. One either learns to accept the change and adapt to it. Or fight to the bitter by trying to keep things stagnant.
(y/n): I agree. Life is about constant change anyway. “This too, shall pass” as it’s said were I come from.
Naga: …Heh.
(y/n): Did I say something weird?
Naga: No. It is just refreshing to meet someone who accepts the truth as it is. Many struggle with that idea and go to terrible ends just to try and disprove it.
(y/n): Well, I can’t really blame them. Adapting is hard. Frightening even. But it’s also true that we can meet others who would help us adjust.
Naga: True. In this strange world you are that person to me, Summoner. For that, I am grateful to have met you.
(y/n): That’s very sweet, Naga. I’m glad I met you too.

Questions and form made by @goddess-of-war-nyka
1. Introduce your summoner. –
Name: Swampy Age: 30 Height: 5′8″ Weight: 200~lbs Sexuality: Asexual Eye Color: Grey Blue Hair Color: Brown Nationality: Fantasian Hobbies: Drawing, Gaming, Singing, Sleeping
2. How did they come to Askr?
“I was actually relaxing in the Smash Mansion. A portal opened underneath me and I was dropped in... and then landed in the grass of an unknown world... which happened to be Askr and the Zenith world.”
3. What are their favorite hobbies? –
“Drawing, sleeping, sometimes singing.”
4. Does your summoner have any bad habits that the heroes try to help them through? –
”Well, I do have a pessimistic outlook and I’m generally a shy person... and I’m hard to come out of my shell. I had a firm belief that all people were bad, and only seek to use and abuse others for selfish gain. And I don’t think I speak very well. Oh, and randomly cracking joints. That’s a bad habit. And being autistic.”
5. How close is your summoner to their heroes? –
“I’d say I’m friends with most at this point.”
6. Does your summoner struggle with being a tactician? –
”Yeah. This whole game of war chess was something new to me and had to learn...”
7. How did your summoner react during their first time summoning? –
”Huh. Is that how this thing works? Weird.”
8. How does your summoner react to summoning now? –
“That time again? Alright.”
9. How well do they adjust to life in Askr? –
“The lack of technology scared me at first, so it was very slow to adjust and get to know people.
10. How long have they been a summoner? –
“Over two years now.”
11. Who’s your summoner’s main team? –
"Babby Caeda, Brave Eliwood, Legendary Edelgard, and Summer Rhys.”
12. Who’s your summoner’s S support? –
"Brave Claude. My boo~.”
13. How was your Summoner and ally support building to S support?–
“Slow burn for sure. I do believe we both have walls to break down. Generally quality time and doing general activities together helps with trust.”
14. How many allies have S support with your summoner? –
”Uhh... I think... five? Dream Male Corrin, Legendary Ike, Eirika (my BFF), Male Byleth, and currently now, Brave Claude.”
15. What are your top 4 ally x ally supports? –
“Let me think... Eirika X Seth Joshua X Natasha Quan X Ethlyn Brave Dimitri X Brave Claude ... Yeah, I think those ones fit.”
16. What does your summoner miss from home? –
“Technology, mostly. Stuff that made life so much easier generally.”
17. If they could bring one thing from home with them what would it be? –
“Like, a personal item? I think my satchel. I know Askr could provide me with another one, but I’m a bit hesitant to ask.”
18. Is your summoner’s robe unique? –
“Well, yes, given my wings, tail, horns... ears. I have an outfit for hot, mild and cold weather as well. I think the one thing that stands out, it has an Askr style heart on each shoulder and a big one on the back.”
19. Who are your fellow summoner friends? –
“Kiran, Mizuki, Olivander, Mercury, Razor, Aqua... Uh, I think I’m missing some more.”
20. What does your summoner wear if during their down time? –
“Things that are comfortable and fireproof. Shirt and pants/shorts are typically fine for me. Nothing too overly complicated.”
21. How do they handle merging heroes or sending them home? –
“I send most three star heroes home, while merging Heroes doesn’t bother me.”
22. What abilities/weapons do they have? –
“Outside of my Axe and Dire Breidablik, I can use my own claws and flame breath. I can also fly and use my wide array of trinkets from other worlds to help me out here.”
23. Would your summoner like to know magic? –
"Nah. No real need for it.”
24. Are they able to hold their own in a fight? –
"I could in theory, though Alfonse doesn’t want me to fight since he’s a worrywart and doesn’t want me dying on him... Which... is a fair concern.”
25. How many heroes have you acquired? –
"Over 400. Don’t make me count...”
26. What book has been the hardest? Emotional or battle-wise. –
“That one chapter when Freyja was giving me an onslaught... I remember barely clearing that cursed chapter...”
27. If your summoner went into battle what would be there class? –
“Axe Infantry or Flyer. Maybe a Green Dragon.”
28. Are there any heroes they clash with? –
”Huhm... I suppose that would go to Valter. He’s such a possessive madman, but I’ve grown used to his behavior over the years. Him calling me his “little bunny”... He gets worse when he becomes a naga... such a clingy snake.”
29. Which hero have you pumped more into? –
“... Unfortunately, that would also have to be Valter.”
30. Which hero do you get a lot of while summoning? –
“I uh... never really paid attention to that to be honest.”
31. Which heroes have they adopted? –
"Actually none, it’s more the other way around! By Fel and Lif, and by Byleth and Edelgard.”
32. Do they participate in voting gauntlets? –
“Yeah. Mostly for the awards and bonding time with my boo.”
33. How do they handle their orbs? –
“I do try to save them for legend dairy and mythic banners, unless there’s a special event with a higher summon rate.”
34. What hero do you wanna see in Fire Emblem Heroes? –
“Whoever is currently missing from Sacred Stones. I would like to see Glen, despite the clashing that might occur...”
35. Will your summoner stay in Askr? Nifl? Muspell? Hel? Embla? –
"Probably will stay in Askr, if they’ll allow me. I do enjoy the cold of Nifl though, though the goddess is... kinda... distant.”
36. What is your Summoner life like years later if they stayed? Askr. Nifl. Muspell. Hel. Embla. –
“I think I’d be mostly the same, while maintaining peace.”
37. Summoner’s family reacting to your summoner’s significant other?–
”Eh, I’m not sure. They’ll worry for my safety for sure, since I’m... not normal. When they know they mean well, I’m sure they’ll relax, but check up on me time to time.”
38. In a twist of fate, if your summoner could change one thing what would it be? –
“Probably sparing Freyr of his death or curing Bruno and Veronica of their blood thirst.“

Shackled [Kiran/Summoner x Alfonse]
A/n: welcome to angst town. slight unsanitary and mild suicidal thoughts tw. you can read it on ao3 if you prefer the format here
It's been about three days since they'd been chained up and things seemed to be getting worse already. The old saying was that people adjust to adversity, but Kiran must be faulty because they find themselves losing hope as each day goes by (not that they can tell time well here; it's so dark and the barred window so small that sometimes they don't even realise night has passed). They sleep fitfully on the stone prison floor; drink the stale, stagnant water given to them and choke down the horrible rations solely meant to keep them alive for another day. Their wrists hurt like hell; the shackles seem to weigh heavier each morning that passes. They've lost weight already; they could probably fit their arms through the bars now, though the rest of them could hardly follow.
On top of it all, as much as they were embarrassed to admit it; they stunk. Rags that weren't washed, sweat that accumulated from the Muspell heat and the stench of their waste which was in a chamber pot only cleaned out in the end of the day made them feel quite repulsive. As much as they were looking forward to being rescued, the idea of the Order of Heroes actually seeing them like this made their stomach clench.
As much as they want to hate Laegjarn for capturing them... there's a part of them now that realises the two sisters are prisoners to Surtr both in their own ways. Laegjarn had treated them with dignity and care in the day they were in her captivity, carmine eyes glimmering with worry. She looked even more pained when she saw Kiran being led into the castle - to be locked away until Surtr either found a way to exploit their legendary weapon for his own gains, or if the former failed, to be executed. For one glorious moment, Kiran thought she was going to step forward and stop him being lead away by Loki- but she collected herself and stood back, lips set in a grim line. It was one of the last things Kiran saw before the days and days of loneliness inside this horrid cell.
Still... they didn't hate her, not truly.
Surtr on the other hand? Pfeh. They grimace, thinking of the disgusting King and his delusions of grandeur. If they couldn't be rescued, better to die than to aid him. If their hand was forced... Kiran would not let themselves live to serve him. They would find some way either to flee or die by their own hand before even lifting a finger to help that bastard. And Loki? The smug enchantress looked far too delighted to be locking someone away in a cell, cooing and batting her eyelashes and promising "she wouldn't forget you down here, dear!". The mockery in her voice was palpable and Kiran, hands shackled and divine weapon seized, could do nothing but take the brunt of it.
They sigh softly, trying to relax into a comfortable position. The floor was terribly uncomfortable and their shackled arms prevented fully lying down in a natural position, but they tried their best. It seems no rescue would be coming today.
They begin to wonder if a rescue was coming soon.
They could hardly determine how many days had passed now; perhaps they could hazard a guess at 9 or 10.
The smell was starting to get to them.
So hot.
Tired.
Alfonse is coming, right? Sharena? Anna too?
They'd be back in Askr soon, with a nice fluffy bed.
They'd put Feh again and she'd hoot happily and Anna would be cheering and Sharena would probably be crying and Alfonse-
Alfonse.
They didn't get to tell him.
They didn't want to die before they told him.
They didn't want to die but they didn't want to keep going on.
Was it night or morning? Naga only knew.
They cry softly, but stop soon enough. Crying won't solve anything and they don't want to dehydrate themselves even further.
With guards who refuse to talk to them, a sole visit from Loki days ago who promptly deemed Kiran 'too defeated to be entertaining' and depressing surroundings, sleep is the only comfort they have left. Well, besides the fact they haven't seen Surtr yet. Kiran doubt he would be bothered to visit unless it was to demand they use their weapon for something, but it had yet to happen.
Small mercies...
They dream of the night sky in Askr and a prince with golden wings beside them.
They don't know what day it is, but it seems delirium has finally arrived for they can hear rapid footsteps in the corridor despite no guard being present for another hour.
"Oh good, maybe going mad will make this less insufferable" they think to themselves idly, waiting for the sound to gradually stop.
It doesn't.
"KIRAN!"
Kiran jolts up from their slumped position against the wall, cringing as the shackles pull against their raw red skin. But the pain is almost immediately forgotten upon seeing the face on the other side of the bars.
"A-Al...?" they rasp out, embarrassment at the weakness of their voice and appearance mingling with desperate, sudden hope.
"I'm here!" he cries out, shoving a silver key into the cell's lock.
Kiran's heart almost leaps out of their chest when the door swings violently open, clanging against the bars. They raise their head, blinking back tears of joy as Alfonse shoves his way inside the dreary door. He was here, he was here!
"Kiran! Gods, what happened to you?" he said, horror on his face as he took in the summoner's frail body.
"Al..." they whisper, starting to cry in earnest now.
They felt so happy and disgusting at the same time. There was so much they wanted to say: "Thank you, I'm scared, Take me home, Don't look at me"
Nothing came out except quiet crying.
"Oh, Kiran..." he said softly, kneeling down in front of Kiran and raising a hand to their shoulder.
Kiran no longer cares if they are ratty, rank and gaunt; they dive into his arms, sobbing. He was here. The Order of Heroes must not be far behind and for him to have the key meant they must have made a sizeable push into the castle's defences. Anna, Sharena, all their Hero friends... They were safe. They came to save Kiran. They were going home.
"Al... oh Alfonse" they choke out, each word stinging in their throat but liberating all the same.
The prince says nothing but continues to rub their back soothingly. It was the nicest thing they had felt in what seems like forever; grinning so hard it felt like it would split their face, they nuzzle closer into Alfonse's neck.
Wait.
Perfume?
Kiran blinks in confusion as the flowery scent of perfume enters their nose. It seems to be coming from Alfonse's clothes?
"Al, what's that smell?"
"What smell?" he replies, face carefully blank.
"The... perfume?" they say slowly, suddenly feeling tense.
Alfonse's face doesn't look quite right anymore.
A cold, creeping feeling takes over them. Alfonse's face doesn't look like Alfonse's face. Something is missing, or different, and he smells like perfume. Perfume they've smelt before. Perfume they smelt on Loki as she lead them into the dungeon-
Kiran almost vomits. The realisation is a punch to the gut, a wave of misery crashing down upon them.
"Too defeated to be entertaining" she'd said.
"Kiran? I don't understand what you mean" said 'Alfonse', expression carefully schooled into faux compassion.
"SHUT UP! JUST SHUT UP!" they shriek, each word tearing their throat and their heart in pieces.
"Kiran, you're worrying me!" comes the false plead.
Kiran sobs, rattles their shackles to no avail, dry heaves. They're losing control of their emotions, reactions, functions-
"This isn't real, is it?"
The accusation hangs in the stale air.
Alfonse's face is blank, and then-
a smirk.

Grima x Summoner
This was much more of a vent write than anything. Not great at writing about the subject (cause it is very personal) but it was very liberating. Ending still feels rushed as hell but ehh.
“Do you ever feel that sometimes…” Kiran pauses; he stares at the horizon as he drums his fingers against the stone of the castle. “that sometimes, it’s just pointless.” Kiran clenches his right fist and sighs. He turns his gaze to his lap. “I don’t know but,” He sighs and starts to get up off the floor. “I don’t know.” Standing up, he smiles as he extends his hand to Grima. “You ready to head back?” Grima gently clasps his hand in Kiran, careful to not put any extra pressure after hearing Kiran’s thought. This hasn’t been the first time Kiran poises some question to him at the end of their biweekly picnics. Questions that Grima has no idea of how to even begin to respond to.
While he definitely needs sleep, as the war continues to drag on, Kiran finds his sleeping schedule becoming as disorganized as his tactics notes. Thankfully, this is the one rare night where Grima actually fell asleep instead of pretending to for Kiran’s sake.
At his desk, Kiran burns the one candle; enough light to barely illuminate his notes to be readable but not too much where it burns his eyes. Kiran goes over his notes, reviewing the current budget and the planned allocations of said budget. Seeing this weeks even lower budget, Kiran sighs before standing up. With Grima still asleep, Kiran exits the room, the door not creaking ever since Kiran figured out to lift it up to not wake up Grima again. With one last look towards Grima, and a quick air-kiss Kiran gently closes the door.
The walk to the south western gardens is quick and peaceful. While the wind is a bit more fierce than normal, the chill of it slows down Kiran’s breathing. Seeing the array of flowers shaking in the air brings a sense of tranquility to him. Despite preferring the central gardens, the reclusiveness of this garden is too good for him to pass up. Sitting on the stone bench directly in front of the lake, he sighs. Kiran stares at the small clear lake void of any fishes. The only noise is the ind in Kiran’s ears and the rustling of trees. He can only assume that whoever planned this garden surely loved privacy; a sentiment that Kiran shares. Kiran takes a shaky breath inward. When he feel that his lungs will erupt, Kiran exhales, his breath condensing in the chilly air. Stretching his hands up in the air, Kiran inhales and exhales once more. He inhales and exhales again. By the time he’s gotten enough air, he can feel his dry throat and the oncoming soreness that’ll surely appear tomorrow, along with a runny nose and a fever as well. Deciding that it’s not enough, Kiran takes one more shaky breath as he stands up.
Coughing three times, Kiran searches for some pebbles, his hands swinging by his side. The search for pebbles takes only a few minutes. Those few minutes only turn up a couple of pebbles -all of which were in the far corners of the garden.. Only counting six pebbles, Kiran digs his feets into the walkway as he inhales and exhales once more, this time closing his eyes shut as he steadies his breathing. Five inhales and exhales later, Kiran opens his eyes and sits back down on the bench. He places the pebbles beside him as he looks at the lake. The reflection of the crescent moon frowns at Kiran; the trees chatter about him in the not-so-far distance; the few small animals that usually visit the garden are gone, all too afraid of seeing him; the several pebbles residing in the lake bottom stare plainly.
Kiran drums his fingers against his thigh, and soon drums both hands. When the judgement continues, he punches his knee to make it stop. With no more noise, he places the pile of pebbles in his lap. Counting all six, he frowns before grabbing one and tossing it at the lake. The pebble gracefully plummets into the lake, not having bounced once. Laughing, Kiran throws another pebble only for the same result. Scowling, Kiran flicks the third one faster only to be three for three at failing. Tears pricking his eyes, Kiran breathes before trying a gentler approach, delicately throwing the pebble to only hear a fourth plop. Giving up, Kiran leans back as he carelessly throws the fifth rock. Glad about not caring, Kiran closes his eyes only to reopen them when he hears the same plop. Gritting his teeth, Kiran breathes in and out of his nose. Tears now pouring, he stares at the last pebble before chucking it directly at the lake bottom, the rock nosediving to its new home. Back rising with every breath, Kiran turns around to find Grima staring at him. Sniffles turn into chuckles as he clenches his sides.
Grima walks to Kiran, his steps a bit unsure from the instantaneous change in mood. “What are you doing here?” Kiran takes a shaky breath, clearly dying from his laughter.
“I wanted to try to skip stones with you” Kiran gives a peck to Grima on the lips. “I don’t think you’ve ever done something like that, so I wanted you to try it.”
“Then why wasn’t I invited?” Grima scowls at Kiran, his voice low as he clings onto Kiran’s wrist as if to prevent him from running. Kiran laughs once more, this one more confident and he wipes some tears from his eyes.
“I wanted to make sure I could beat you. But, clearly I couldn't beat you if I tried. So then i thought that you’d probably beat me despite it being your first time, and then you’d hold it against me.” Kiran laughs through his nose. “I don’t know why but it just seemed so funny to me.” Grima furrows his eyebrows and grabs Kiran’s other wrist as well. “C’mon, let’s have a match!” Kiran escapes Grima’s grip and scurries to find some pebbles. Coming back, Kiran finds three pebbles and brings them to Grima where he then drags him to the lake. “Here,” He places one in Grima’s hand and guides him. “I mean, I’m not an expert but I’ll do.”
Going over the process, Grima doesn’t even manage to get one to bounce. “I kinda figured, but let’s try this again.” Kiran stand up and pulls up Grima into a hug. “Let’s go. It’s really cold tonight.” Grima follows Kiran, the decent amount of light illuminating the way back to their room.
Their next picnic seems to come much sooner than usual for Grima. In that span, Kiran seems to never be in one place or always in bed. On the morning of their planned picnic, Kiran tells Grima to not worry about it.
“Why not?” Kiran’s attitude has had an affect on Grima, his irritability rising. Kiran doesn’t miss the tone in Grima’s voice.
“Don’t worry. I just don’t feel like doing a picnic.” Kiran burrows deeper into his covers.
“Then what?” Grima stands to the side of Kiran’s lying body.
“Nothing. I’m good.” Kiran smiles
“You’ve been in bed for three days now.”
“It’s comfy.” Grima scoffs.
“Are you sure?”
“I’m fine. I’m just tired” Grima sighs before heading out. Turning around to make sure that he’s gone, Kiran sighs.Wrapping himself in his covers, Kiran sighs again. With his face away from the door, Kiran stares at the wall. “He didn’t even try…” Kiran whispers. The words fall first only to be followed by tears. “I’m so stupid…” Kiran wraps the blankets tighter. “I always blame it on him; I’m just being ungrateful. But he never tries either. Only cause I never talk.” The back and forth exchange with himself continues until he eventually falls asleep, his brain too tired.
When he does wake up, he finds Grima sitting in a chair right next to him. Even more upset than when he was first summoned, Grima spits out the next word vehemently. “Why?” Kiran smiles before laughing.
“It’s n-” The chair crashes to the ground as Grima jumps off of it.
“It’s not nothing!” Grima grabs Kiran’s shoulder. “You alway say nothing but it’s not.” Kiran stay wide-eyed at Grima.
“I-I” Kiran doesn’t continue and instead opts to put his head down.
“I’m worried for you.” Grima’s eyes shift to the right and left of Kiran, not looking at his face, when Kiran looks up to face him. “So.. please, tell me.”
“ I just..” Kiran trails off.
“If not me, tell someone. Even that worm of a prince or the spawn of Naga even.” Kiran gives a small laugh before breathing. He interlaces his hands with Grima’s.
“I- I feel… inadequate.” Out of his comfort, Grima merely squeezes Kiran’s hands. One more breath, Kiran continues. “I just feel that like, sometimes it’d be better for everyone if i weren’t around…” Grima tightens his hold from hearing Kiran’s confession.
“Y-” Kiran continues with tears in his eyes, interrupting Grima.
“I already know it’s not true. But then I feel like maybe - I feel that sometimes I’m not appreciated enough, but that’s not true. I know, I know that I am and I know that I’m just being selfish and an ass. But- but I just can’t deal with it sometimes. I expect you to be able to read my mind and that’s not fair for you. I know I shouldn’t feel unappreciated but I just do and I hate it. I hate being so stupid. And I just hate it.” Finished, Kiran bursts out laughing. “I know it’s so stupid. I’m sorry for making you listen to my nonsense.” Grima remains unable to say anything. He embraces Kiran instead. “I’m fine. It’s nothing. Just me being dramatic.”
“It’s not. It’s not” Grima stares at Kiran. He remains speechless towards Kiran. “I brought the picnic.” Kiran notices the basket on the nightstand and laughs which devolves into crying.
“Sorry, it’s just that I thought you didn’t like the picnic.”
“Any time with you I enjoy. But…”
“I’m sorry. You’re so new to any of this and I spring this nightmare on you.”
“You are not a nightmare.” Grima sighs. “You- you taught me to better myself and to rely on you. I may not be able to help you, but you always referred to those worms in he order as people you depend on just as they depend on you. Get help.” Kiran swallows, his dry throat seemingly even drier. “Do you promise?” Grima focuses on Kiran the other keeping the gaze.
Breathing in and out, Kiran responds, “I..” Grima stares at Kiran. “I-I promise.”
“Once more.”
“I promise.” Grima smiles upon hearing it. “And thank you.” Grima squeezes Kiran’s hands. “Now let’s eat! Thank you for reading my mind.” Grima grabs the basket and brings it to Kiran who reaches out. Grima keeps it out of his reach.
“Promise.” Kiran smiles a bit.
“Yes. I promise. I don’t know how but I’ll try.”
“Good.” Grima hands the basket to Kiran and the two eat, the situation not fixed but a bit better at least.

Flu Season ( male summoner x Alfonse oneshot )
// This is my first Kiralfonse oneshot so I hope it’s ok. I got this idea because flu season is around right know and how the 3 heroes would handle their summoner getting sick with another worldly illness. This is dedicated to @sarai377 because her oneshots got me into this ship, Naga bless you girl! //
It was a cool crisp February morning in Askr. The sun peeked through the curtains of Kiran’s room in the castle, hitting the summoners face as it roes him from his deep slumber. He let out a groan and pulled the covers over his head, hoping to get a few more minutes of sleep. Anna usually came and woke him up because with out an alarm he would usually sleep until noon which he loved to do on the weekend back home. It had been month since he was pulled from his world and so fare he loved it here. Kiran had always been into the medieval stuff so he didn’t mind changing his life style a bit. A knock then sounded at the door and he heard the sound of Anna’s voice. “Come on Kiran time to get up, breakfast will be ready in a few minutes!” She said. “Ok, ok i’m up.” He called to let her know he was awake. He heard a satisfied sound from the other side of the door then footsteps leading away. He let out a sigh and sat up, stretching his arms above his head and slid out of bed. But as soon as he stood up a wave of dizziness struck him and he stumbled. He let out a shaky breath and grabbed onto the bed post to keep from falling over.
“Wow…” He mumbled holding his head as a headache started to make itself known. He shook his head and made his way to the bathroom to wash up before getting dressed and heading to the dinning room to meet the others for breakfast. As he walked he realized just how tired he still felt, his body aching too even though they didn’t have a battle the day before. He walked into the dinning room to see the royal siblings, Anna, and the few Hero’s he had summoned so far. “Good morning Kiran!” Sharena smiled as Kiran sat down next to her. “Morning.” he yawned and she giggled. “You still tired? Didn’t you turn in early last night.” She asked and the albino nodded. “Ya I just feel really out of it this morning.” He mumbled and rubbed his head, still trying to get ride of his headache. “Well i’m sure you’ll wake up once you get something to eat.” Anna said and Kiran nodded. As he put some fruit into a bole his glanced over at Alfonse who seems to be in deep though. “You ok Alfonse?“ He asked and the prince blinked and looked up at the smaller male. “Hm? Oh yes I’m fine just thinking is all.” The prince smiled lightly at the summoner. Kiran raised a brow not buying it but he let the prince be. “Ok whatever dude.” He said popping a Grape into his mouth and the prince rolled his eye’s with a smile.
After breakfast the 4 teens made their way to the training yard, they often practiced when they weren’t in battle to help Kiran work on his tactician skills. Kiran sat on top of a wall as he over looked the fake battle field, a few guards attacking as enemies while the 3 others were waiting for Kiran’s order. He scanned the yard carefully so he wouldn’t miss anything. Kiran then made a signal for Anna to move and she did running at one of the fake enemies and taking him down. “Yes!” Kiran cheered to himself happily, he was actually getting better at this tactic stuff. One of the enemies then made a run at Alfonse and Kiran’s eye’s widened.”Alfonse quick behi- COUGH COUGH HACK!” He started to suddenly cough heavily and Alfonse looked up at the summoner worriedly not caring that he was tagged by the enemy. “Kiran are you ok?” Sharena called up to the albino and he shook his head as he kept coughing. Once the fit ended he held his throat and his face twisted in pain as he let out a whimper. “Come down!” Anna called and he nodded and jumped off the wall and shakily walked over to them rubbing at his throat. Anna pulled her glove off and placed her hand on his forehead. “Kiran your burning up!” She gasped as Kiran started to sway.
His knees bucking under him and the two royal quickly bolted forward to catch him. “Kiran, hey take it easy.” Alfonse soothed, patting Kiran’s cheek to get him to focus again. Kiran blinked and looked up at him tiredly. “We should get him to bed.” Anna suggested and the two siblings nodded and help Kiran stand and put one of his arms over each of their shoulders. As they made their way to the summoners room heroes stopped and looked at Kiran worriedly and would ask if he was ok. Anna said they didn’t know yet but she would let them know once they did. They got to the room and sat Kiran on his bed and took off his cloak and boots before letting him lay down. Sharena pulled the covers up around the albino and brushed his already damp bangs back. Alfonse looked down at him worriedly, bitting his lip. Anna came out of the bathroom with a bole of water and a cloth and set it on the nightstand. She dipped the cloth into the water and rested it on Kiran’s head. “This should help with the fever.”She said and Kiran opened his purple eye’s and blinked for a second and made a face that showed he was thinking. “Kiran what is it?” Sharon asked. “H-how long have I been here?” He asked in a low horsed voice.
The three blinked and looked at each other. “About a month, why?” Alfonse asked and Kiran cursed under his breath. “It’s still flu season in my world and I never got my flu shot.” He mumbled. The other three looked at each other very confused and kiran caught this. “Do you guy’s not have the flu here?” He asked and Anna shrugged. “No I don’t think so, nobody really get’s sick around this time of year with anything serious. The occasional cold or fever but nothing like you seem to have.” The red head said. “Then how the hell did I get sick with it?” He almost shouted but cringed in pain from his sore throat. “I’m going to get a doctor.” The blond said and quickly left the room. Kiran rubbed at his throat in pain and curled up into a ball. The other two sat down on the edge of the bed, Alfonse reached out and gently rubbed Kiran’s shoulder in a shooting way hoping it would calm him down. Luckily it helped and Kiran drifted off into a light doze as they waited for the princess to come back with a Doctor.
A few minuted later she came back with one and the bluenette prince gently shook the albino awake. Kiran sat up and the doctor started to ask him some questions and checked him over. “mhmm, yep he is defiantly sick with something. If this illness is from his world there’s nothing we can do but let him rest, give him fluids, and keep an eye on him. Alfonse nodded and thanked the doctor and showed him out. “I’m going to make him some tea with honey to help his throat.” Sharena said leaving the room again and Anna looked at Alfonse as he helped Kiran get comfortable before he pulled up a chair next to the bed and he looked over at her. “I’ll keep an eye on him, go let the others know Kiran will be M.I.A until he’s better.” He smiled when he heard Kiran chuckle at the fact that the brunette used a term from his world. The red head blinked in shock but nodded “Ok, i’ll be back by tonight to take the night shift.” The prince nodded and watched the door close before directing his full attention on his sick Summoner. “Have you gotten this before?“ He asked and Kiran thought for a moment. “Not that I can remember.” He said quietly. Alfonse nodded and reached to to gently stroke his flushed cheek, the albino happily leaning into his touch. “I’m sorry you don’t feel well but I promise i’ll be here next to you the whole time.”
Kiran opened his eye and looked at Alfonse. “Dose that mean you finally consider me as a friend?” He smirked and Alfonse rolled his eye’s but smiled. “Ya, I guess you have grown on me.” He confessed and Kiran silently celebrated in his head until his stomach start to stir and his eye’s went wide. He held his breath and pulled at the prince’s sleeve. Alfonse looked at the albino confused until he saw the look on his face and he understood. He quickly stood up and ran to the bathroom and came back with a bucket just in time. Kiran then throw up everything he had for breakfast that morning. Alfonse gently hushed him and rubbed his back. He gently grabbed the cloth that had fallen onto the summoner’s lap and placed it on the back of his neck. Just then Sharena came in carrying a cup of tea and looked worried at the scene before her. She walked over to the bed and sat down next to Kiran as he pulled his face out of the bucket looking more pail then before. The blond smiled sadly at him and handed him the cup. “It’s lemon with honey, it should help sooth your throat.” Kiran mouth a thank you before taking a few sips of the warm drink before setting it down before flopping down onto the bed passed out. Alfonse set the bucket on the floor and rescued the cloth and placed it on Kiran’s forehead.
By the time Kiran woke up again the sun was starting to set and only Alfonse was in the room with him. Resting back against a chair and reading a book. “Your still here?” He asked and the prince looked up from his book and smiled. “Well looks who awake, and yes I did say I would take care and watch you.” Kiran blushed and hoped his cheeks were flushed enough so it wouldn’t be notable but knowing his luck. “Are you ok, you cheeks just went super red.” Alfonse’s brows frowned and he places a hand on the albinos forehead. “Y-ya…” He lied and looked away to try and stop blushing. “Your lying I know you by now Kiran and I can tell when your not being truthful, you bit your lip and don’t make eye contact with people.” Kiran let out a huff and looked back at the bluenette. “It’s nothing Alfonse don’t worry about it.” The prince stared at the summoner for a few second before letting it drop for know since he was sick and didn’t want to stress him out. “Ok.” He said and went back to his book. Kiran rolled onto his side facing away from the prince, a blush still clearly present. God he wished he could tell Alfonse how he truly felt about him. He closed his eye’s and tried to fall back to sleep but couldn’t so he just stayed like that but because of this something happened that he didn’t even expect to happen. He heard Alfonse move from his seat and slowly sit on the bed next to him. The summoner could feel that the prince was staring at him, his guess was trying to figure out if he was asleep or not but it didn’t seem to mater either way when he felt a warm pare of lips gently press against his cheek. “I like you two you dork.” Alfonse mumbled into Kiran’s ear and he opens his eye’s too look at the prince who smiled lovingly at him. Maybe him getting sick wasn’t such a bad thing anymore.
