Tropy stands by the Rift Generator, speaking about his plan. While Tulip and Cortex are by a device when Tropy is speaking about his plan. Cortex silently mocks him, which made Tulip chuckle at that before they go back to tinkering with the device they're with.

"N. Gin, N. Brio... you had some little projects you wanted to tell me about?" Cortex's henchmen; N. Gin and N. Brio approach behind him to tell their leader on evil plans they each came up with.

"Gin!" The possum spotted her co-worker who she treats him as her friend. "Greetings, Master's... new companion." N. Gin came across to his possum friend, and gave her off a handshake by his mechanical arm. "So��� Wanna explain to us about the... projects you and Brio been telling Cortex about?

"Master, my mechanical marvel will hypnotize you an army!" N. Gin said, clawing his mechanical hand. "And my potion will make me — ahem — them unstoppable!" Brio said, holding out his potion, before crossing his arms. "Right, yeah, fine, sure. Have fun with your... ray guns, or whatever." Cortex completely just didn't care about that and just let his loyal allies do what he thinks they do for their entire lives and just carries on with the device. Tulip just does the same, except she didn't mind, and just let them do what they want.

As N. Gin and N. Brio turn to head to their respective rifts, they bump into each other. N. Brio angrily tries to kick N. Gin, only for N. Gin to dodge and bite down on his shin. "Gin! Brio!?" Tulip yelled at the two. "Geez, break it up–" "Hasten your steps!" Tropy interrupted her words right until she places them both down gently and they scamper off to the rift portals.

There it goes over to N Tropy's face "By my calculations, our enemies are already moving against us. And We. Will. Prevail." N Tropy gritted his teeth, before crossing the lines of his mouth, making a sinister smirk.

The possum shivers by that smile Tropy made, that made her nervous. Right by when she came to a platform; that takes her to an escape pod, and back to her home located at N. Sanity Island.

Rumble's Duo-ble Trouble

A mix between an Emperor's new groove reference AND something they'd definitely do.

RYONNA LEMURS FINALLY JOINS CRASH TEAM RUMBLE! /f

Oh yeah, also... Introducing Ryonna's current (superior) counterpart... The it's about time Ryonna!

Info: Ryonna is the professional bounty huntress who works for Cortex. Ever since they went in a wild time-travel/dimension-hopping adventure together... (including first meeting when he first got out of that temporal prison...) Cortex and Ryonna have grown pretty close. Like in a supervillain-and-sidekick kind of way! ...Except they actually have a lot in common in regards of energy and action. Of course, it took Ryonna a while to get into Rumble, after all, who was there for Cortex when he got hurt during a game? And who was there to help him get ready for those matches? But now that they are in... She and Cortex could cause even more trouble than ever before (Only if they're in a team together, though.)! Sure, Ryonna can be quite a powerhouse-sized klutz at times, but their surprising strenght and role as the scorer sure does wonders on the each team (especially if Cortex is in it)! Plus, looks like Cortex finally found a henchperson that is as evil and full of energy as he is, despite her supposed role to be a bounty huntress to hunt down and capture Crash and Coco. But oh well, they DO make a good duo!

Anyway, Ryonna can grab things with not just their arms... But also her ringtail!! and their favorite weapons are her two fists: "the Birdchirper" and "the Stargazer". And well... I think that's it. I'll draw and demonstrate her attacks another time.

Fun facts: - Ryonna is omnisexual and a trans woman!! appreciate the legend!! - Ryonna, during the events of Its about time, used to call Cortex "Boss" and "sir" but after the battle with the N. Tropies, they decided to call him "master" after realizing that they liked the sound of "Professional bounty huntress and sidekick"! - their hc voice actress is Kayleigh McKee (or any other trans voice actress) - In the italian version and/or any other version her alternate name is "Ryonessa" (The name's pretty catchy, too. dont get me wrong.)

Patch 1.08 - Crash Team Rumble | Tuesday, 08.15.2023

A new patch update for Crash Team Rumble is available right now, which includes:

a 33% power charge increase to all scorers breaking crates

a 33% decrease of powers charging up to both blockers and boosters

bank barrages and plasma turrets cost less relics (decreasing from 8 to 6 relics at a time) to activate on maps like City Scrape and Tiki Towers

Wumpa Bat's wumpa fruit capacity has increased from 1,000 to 1,500 Wumpa Fruit to bank it on the Bogged Down map after depositing in 30 relics

Tawna's damage input on enemies has increased by 12.5%

N. Tropy's (F) overall health capacity has sightly been nerfed to give all players a fighting chance

N. Brio's Mastery Badge objective now lets players KO an enemy at a time on either side's bank before his transformation sequence ends

The other heroes just…kept quiet and let the hammer wielding mons do their thing. Better to not give them a reason to attack, after all. This did also allow Luz to investigate whatever she managed to spot as well. Meanwhile, N. Tropy would probably walk (or teleport) in on some of the final preparations for a particularly massive invasion…but not aimed at the heroes. Nay…it was aimed for another problem foe, so what she had could be claimed. Athena was particularly interested in what she could do with what was to be claimed.

Luz, after getting a better look at it:...Is this another animatronic? Why does it feel so different compared to everything else? And how is it still clean despite everything that's happened??

Ross, after Luz told the others about this out of place robot: I say we take it as a souvenir! (Uzi: And if it's still "alive"?) Simple! We use one of those very old and broken cryopods within the vault below us, that we still haven't figured out what to do with, and use 'em as a prison cell!

Uzi: I'm gonna put security cameras up if I have then to make sure that thing stays in one place.

With our benefactor Athena starting the invasion off with her beasts attacking first and tearing down any defenses that can possibly stand in our way!

N. Trophy, refusing to take it lightly: If you must know, you overweight feline! The experiment had gotten into a snag when those accursed rebels showed up and ruined it by crushing the specimen with rubble!! And it was such a promising one as well!

7. are there any specific scenes/chapters/moments of your f/o that you find yourself going back to revisit more often than any other?

Well when it comes to specific games, I do tend to go back to the Crash 4 cutscenes most, but as for specific moments... This sounds cheesy as hell but every moment Cortex is on screen is a good one for me 🥺💖 BUT I do particularly like the cutscene directly after his first boss fight- I just think it has it all!! Cortex being sad and pathetic after his loss, angry abt N. Tropy's betrayal, scheming on how to get back at him, AND put in an awkward situation when Crash hugs him 😂💖💖 It's so many things I love about him in one short cutscene!!

10. if you could change one thing about your f/o’s source content, would you? what would you change?

YES YES I WOULD AND I'LL TELL YOU WHAT RIGHT NOW: I do not like the retcon in Crash 3 that reveals that all of Cortex's scheming over the first 2 games were just... Uka Uka ordering him around from evil mask prison?? That just takes away all his agency as a villain in those first two games imo, knowing that it wasn't even his ideas in the first place 🙄 I already don't really consider it canon in the first place, so thats definitely what I'd change. We can keep the rest of Crash 3's plot just the way it is, just get rid of the retcon. It's dumb >:/

14. what’s your favorite outfit your f/o has ever worn?

Hhhhrrmm this is a bit of a fun question for Cortex, considering that outside of spinoffs, he only ever wears one thing 😅 But if I had to choose a favorite of the different skins that have appeared in CTRacing and CTRumble, it'd probably be the Cybernetic skin from Rumble! It's just a cool design and Cortex with shorter hair kinda slaps 👀💖💖
