Hey Nolan! I'm sorry to ask you this but I'm totally lost. This new batch fix for s4s.. what's going on? Are CAS items broken or something? Also, how do I download this batch fix? I click download and then what?

Hey! When the High School Years EP released, it came with a new thrifting app called Trendi. Within this app, there are different levels of rarity for items, thus creating rarity tags that can be applied to CC! Ever since the game updated following the release of the HSY EP, new CAS CC now includes these tags by default and can cause save errors.

To fix this yourself, install and open Sims4Studio and click the Content Management section on the toolbar then hover over Batch Fixes > CAS > Remove Fashion Tags. Once clicked, it'll ask you to verify whether or not the file path to your Mods folder is correct. If you accept, S4S will run the batch fix and any CC items that contain the tags within your Mods folder will be automatically fixed. S4S will also create a backup in the event things go wonky (which is pretty rare).

So, if you’re releasing new CAS CC, please make sure to check your tags as soon as you start a new project or batch fix before posting!

Hello, how are you? Sorry about this ask but I don't even know how to look for this. I know there's a mod that removes those awful EA eyelashes that are just a black blur but I can't find it. Do you know which one it is?

Hey there! You would to google Sims 4 eyelashes remover.

There is a mod by cienzroza but it uses adfly so I won’t link it. And it often breaks with updates.

What I use in my game is made by @kijiko-sims scroll down and look for this image

Hey, sorry if this is obvious but I really don't know it. To download your presets all I have to do is put them in my mods folder?

oh no worries at all, not a bother!! and yep! then they’ll show up with the rest of the EA presets when you click on the sim’s lips or nose, for example

Ok, question. I'm still new to this mods world. I have script mods and bb and cas cc. I know I'll have to update the mods after this most recent base game update coming with Eco Lifestyle, but what about CC? Like, sofas, artworks, windows, doors, hairs, clothes etc I'm still unsure if those have to be updated as well. Like I have all organized and I know I have to remove everything before updating the game, but will I have to update all my bb and cas CC too?

that is really a “wait and see” situation. I generally make a post on what is broken with a patch, and then when one is fixed what sets need to be updated. But it’s hard to see what needs updating prior to a patch because we don’t get that info. So if you are concerned, don’t auto-update right away and keep an eye out on tumblr and twitter to see how many issues cc users are experiencing before updating. 

edit: generally speaking, CAS is mostly safe from updates unless they are getting a new feature (like the unisex patch a while ago). In the case of this patch, i don’t see buy objects being affected too much unless they are custom storage items like what came with University. Buildmode items like doors/arches/windows are on the radar just because of the new feature. So if you keep an eye on the new features being added, you can usually estimate what will need updating and what wont. But there are still surprises.
