She drained the glass quickly, it was nothing like she has tasted before in her pusdeo alcoholic life of cheap red wine and shitty sour beer. "I like this, it's like that cheap japense sake I use to buy at the corner store when were kids in that tiny flat, did you remember, Jay?" She turns to the mystyery man - great picker of alcohol, it seems - , squeezing his wrist warmly. "Thanks. You've been great"

Jay's face is srunched up, "Mine tastes...weird. here, taste it" he holds out the glass to his friend and before anyone can say anything, Summer takes the glass and sips it. Her face srunches up, too. It was sweet, like her wine but had the weird most odd taste of iron and herbs behind it all. She recgonized it. Gideon taught her to (weeks and weeks and days were devoted to him teaching her the different kind of things a magick could slip into her drink. Sleep. Rage. Truth. Sadness. Forgetfulness) and in kind, Summer taught him the trepass laws in the city so he could get out of police custody if he was moping around abandonded and condemned places. She clutched Jay's hand, tight, afarid and said, taking out her cellphone. "I have to call...Gideon" she went to call the landline again, knowing he won't have left its side because he promised her he wouldn't. He hands shaking - she only had a sip, but she wasn't sure how strong it was and Jay quickly drained his glass because he kind of was forgetting what was bad about it every sip. Someone had drugged them. Magicked...drugged them, whatever the word for it it was happening and Summer was panicking.
