Insanely jealous. He's barely able to restrain himself from barking like a dog when he sees you talking to another man

- and he will come up to you mid-conversation and embarrass you in front of this man because Zen wants him to know who you belong to.

Has some mildly sexist views on women

- Speaks for you even if you're right next to him. Will order for you at restaurants without being asked. If someone asks you a question and Zen thinks he knows the answer he'll answer it for you as if you aren't capable of answering for yourself.

- Tends to believe that you're fragile and vulnerable and that he needs to protect you because you're a woman

- Will help you with chores but he believes it's your job to cook

- Doesn't ever let you take control during sex. He thinks that, as the man, he is supposed to be the one on top and in control. He's a pleasure dom but sex is always done his way because he never lets you take the lead.

Wants to take care of you but "taking care of you" can mean doing things that are very controlling sometimes

- extremely resistant at first to the idea of you having a job or going to college since he can provide for both of you

- hates taking "no" for an answer if he thinks he knows better than you. If you're sick with a cold he'll go against your wishes and call a doctor no matter how many times you insist that you're fine.

- Never learned how to let someone else be in charge of something so he also never lets you take control during sex.

Resistant to change

Makes important decisions without you based on what he thinks you would want

Can come across as very apathetic at times. He thinks he's offering an objective point of view that will help soothe your emotions but instead it can feel like he doesn't care about them because you're being unreasonable.

Has gotten into the habit of lying about the dumbest shit, so it can be difficult to tell whether he's being serious or messing with you

Doesn't help with household chores because he doesn't find them mentally stimulating

Gets really bad depressive episodes. He doesn't want Saeran to see him like that so he bottles everything up until he can't anymore and will take all his emotions out on you sometimes.

Has never had to communicate how he feels before meeting you, so he never learned how. A lot of the time you're relying on your intuition because he doesn't talk to you about it. Part of him still believes nobody cares about how he's feeling.

Jumin Han x Fem Reader: Disco Pang Pang

Amusement Park Story 1

Summary: Jumin is taken on a ride where he meets you

Warning: (if I got the name wrong or did anything false with this fic please tell me), I haven’t done anything Mystic Messenger related in a long time so possibly ooc, my writing is rusty due to my like 4 month hiatus and might not be the best, it’s also short, if you see a * it’s because I spend too much time on character.ai

A/N: hey I’m sorry I haven’t been writing, I couldn’t think of anything and I was going through mental stuff.

This will be apart of a short story series based around the same idea, also it’s really really short and I might rewrite it later

He didn’t even wanna come here, the RFA decided to have a ‘free day’ and hang out at the amusement park, Jumin was unwillingly dragged along. Seven had pointed at a ride for everyone to try, it was a large circle with seats on the rim of it with railings so the riders could hold on.

While they waited in line he staggered forward at a sudden force, turning around he saw a woman there with an apologetic look on her face.

“I’m so sorry, are you alright?” She asked him, hoping she didn’t upset the random man

But as fate would have it, before he could respond the people on the ride went off, making way for the new riders. He watched as the woman went up with her friends, Seven and Yoosung were heading on when they saw Jumin still standing there.

“Not chickening out are you?” Zen said, a cocky smile on his face

Jumin just rolled his eyes, getting on the ride as well. They sat down not to far from you and your friends, he couldn’t help but let his eyes occasionally wander to you, sometimes he saw you looking back. Just as everyone felt the ride begin to spin slowly your face dropped as you felt your skirt ride up, putting one hand to pull down your skirt while holding desperately on the other. 

Jumin saw your actions and took off his jacket, offering it to you, catching the attention of the operator.

“Hey miss, you with the turtleneck.” The ride operator called out, you looked at him as you move Jumin’s jacket around your waist

“Are you single?”

The question takes many people off guard who begin to laugh, including you. With the nod of your head the ride suddenly jolted up a bit, causing you to fly up as well and hold the bars tightly. This happens more and more to the point where the jacket starts slipping from your lap, you quickly let go to readjust it but find your body flying sideways, landing in the lap of a person.

You and Jumin meet eyes as he holds you so you don’t fall, his hands also holding the jacket for you. The RFA (Seven mainly) beside him were cheering and trying to tease him about having a beautiful girl land on him.

“Jumin Han.” he introduces with a bit of a smile

(Name) you say back, holding onto his arms while the ride operator finds his next victi- people to torment.

hi! so, i really love mystic messenger so I decided to write one about my favorite hacker Luciel Choi/707. Hope y'all enjoy it!!

Warning: There might be spoilers!! I repeat! THERE WILL BE SPOILERS!   ~~~~~~~~~~

707's P.O.V

I sat in my room, eating Honey Buddha Chips with PhD Pepper while looking at my PC. I'm currently watching the CCTV Y/n is at. I keep looking every 2.35 seconds to see if she left or anyone came in. I know that's weird but I can't help it. I have a really bad feeling about what's going on right now.

The hacker that sent Y/n to Rika's apartment sent emails to RFA members, my work hasn't been done and Ms. Vanderwood keeps bugging me about how my house is so messy. Plus...I can't focus because of Y/n.

I can't stop thinking about her. Everyone in the RFA are saying that we have feelings for each other which I keep denying it. I mean, I'm not really sure if I like her. Sure, I keep looking at the CCTV to see her face, keep waiting for her call just to hear her sweet, calming voice. Or how every time I try to code something I end up writing her name instead. Or how whenever we talk in the chatroom or on the phone, I feel happy and start to lose focus because I keep thinking about what she's doing. Or how I don't want her to get hurt because of me. Or how I made a robot dog that blows fire from it's mouth just for her...

Okay, maybe there's some affection there but I can't be with her. My work is too dangerous. If she get's involved with me, she will be in danger. I don't want that happening specially if I'm the reason she's hurt. Nothing good is going to come out if we get together.

"Agent 707!" I hear Ms. Vanderwood's voice.

"Huh? What?" I asked.

"I've been calling you for 30 seconds. Your phone is ringing. It's your beloved Y/n." He rolled his eyes and continued cleaning my living room. I immediately grabbed my phone and answered.

"Hello? Y/n? What's wrong? Did something happen? Are you hurt?" I asked, worried. She chuckled. I feel myself blush because of how cute it sounded.

"Calm down, Luciel. I'm okay." She said. I sighed in relief and blushed more because she called me by my name and not Seven.

"Why did you call?" I asked, calming myself down yet my heart beats faster.

"Nothing I was bored...and I wanted to hear your voice." She said shyly. I blushed again.

"Ahh...my heart." I joked but it was the truth. She chuckled again.

"Tell me, are you looking at the CCTV camera?"

"Always...every-"

"3.25 seconds. Yeah, I know. I listen. Are you looking right now?"

"Yeah, why?" I asked, confused.

She didn't answer. I hear shuffling then a door unlocking. I looked at the camera to see a girl standing there. She had a jacket same as mine (the black and yellow one), white tank top on and black sweatpants. I imagined how she would look in my clothes. Ahh, so cute.

"Hi!" I hear her voice from the phone and her figure waving at the camera. "I know that you're working so hard right now to catch the hacker. I'm sorry that that's happening to you. If I hadn't join the RFA then you wouldn't be working at so many things right now."

"Don't be sorry." I kept staring at her pretty face. She looked sad. I hated it. "I'm glad you joined."

"I'm glad I did too." She sat down on the floor. "How was your day?"

"Better now that I see you're safe. How's yours?"

"Perfect now that I hear your voice."

"Have you eaten yet?"

"No, I ran out of food."

"You shouldn't skip meals, Y/n." I say in a warning tone. "It's bad for your health."

"I could say the same thing about you, Luciel. I bet you're eating Honey Buddha Chips right now with PhD Pepper." I see her smirk.

"You know me so well." I say lovingly.

"I want to tell you that I'm really proud of you for working your ass off. I know in the chatroom, you joke a lot but with your work and the message last night, I can tell that you're really stressed. I hope you get some rest or sleep tonight. I don't want you to get sick because I would be really sad." She pouted.

"Y/n..."

"Luciel, thank you for all your hard work." She smiled and did heart-finger. I smiled at the sight. "I can't see you right now but I can tell you're smiling."

"How are you so sure about that?"

"I don't know. I can just feel it. My seventh instinct, I guess you could say" She shrugged, then laughed at her own joke. I chuckled.

"You're a dork." I shook my head.

"You're the biggest dork. Also, I got this new jacket. You like it?"

"I do. It looks very cute on you."

"Really?" She stood up then gave me a twirl. She sat back down again with a smile. That distracting, pretty smile.

"You're making me lose focus." I say, in a slight rude tone. I didn't intend that.

"Oh, I'm sorry." She frowned. "Uhh, hope you catch the hacker soon so we can see each other and hang out. No pressure." She smiled then stood up. "I'm gonna go grocery shopping. Good luck! I'm rooting for you."

"I feel like I can do anything with you cheering for me."

"I'll call you tonight, okay? See you soon, Luciel!" She waved at the camera and walked away while ending the call. I sighed. I just had to push her away, did I?

"You pushed her away again." Ms. Vanderwood pointed out.

"I know." I laid my head back at the chair.

"Good. You know what will happen if she gets involved."

"I know, Ms. Vanderwood."

"I have a taser in my bag." He said for the fifth time today.

"Okay, Agent Vanderwood." I sighed again and put my head on the desk.

"I know you like her, Agent 707. But if boss finds out, she can get hurt. You'll be forced to have a new identity and possibly never see her again."

"I know."

I hear him sigh in defeat.

"Go finish the work boss needs then you can do RFA's work. I'll come back later. I'm going to get food."

"There's Honey-"

"Real food." He rolled his eyes and left my house. I sighed again.

I miss Y/n. But why? I barely know her. We've known each other for a week. For some reason, I want to hold her in my arms and never let her go. She's always on my mind. I need her but I don't even know her yet. I know basic stuff like her name, birthday, age, height, weight, etc. But I want to know more. Like, how she likes her coffee. Does she even drink coffee? What's her favorite color? What's her favorite movie? What would she look like with my cat onesie? Adorable, that's what.

A ring interrupted my thoughts. My ears perked up and I answered my ringing phone.

"Hello? Y/n?" I asked.

"Yes, God Seven." A male voice answered. I sighed in defeat.

"Hey, Zen." I said.

"Whoa, what's up with the sad tone? Are you okay?" He asked.

"Yeah, just tired from work." I rubbed my temple. "Anyways, why did you call?"

"Oh. I read the chatroom. It seems like you've been denying your feelings for Y/n."

"I'm not denying anything. She's a member of the RFA. That's only why I'm worried."

"Right." He said in a sarcastic tone. I rolled my eyes.

"Why do you care?" I said, again, in a rude manner.

"Whoa, no need to get worked up, buddy. I'm just teasing."

"You're right." I calmed myself down. "I'm sorry. I’m just really tired.”

"Don't be. Look, if you like Y/n, go for it. Because it seems to me that she liked you back. You have a chance. Don't waste it."

"I don't like her."

"Whatever you say, man. Everyone can see how you two like each other. I'm just trying to help."

"Thanks but no thanks. Don't you have to look at yourself in the mirror?" I tried to end the conversation.

"Oh, you're right. Thanks for reminding me." I rolled my eyes. "But think about what I said. Go for it, man. She really likes you."

"Bye, Zen." I ended the call. I grabbed a handful of my hair. "I want to go for it. But I don't want her to get hurt."

*** 6 hours later...

I was tracing the hacker again when my phone rang. I didn't answer, too busy working. A few seconds later, it rang again. I took a breath and answered.

"Agent 707, at your service." I say in my usual cheerful voice.

"God Seven!" Y/n's beautiful voice rang from the other side of the device. "How are you this fine evening?"

"Amazing. How is my Y/n doing?" I smiled, leaning back on my chair, forgetting my work.

"Your Y/n?" She said in a teasing tone.

"O-oh, did I say that?" My eyes widened. "I'm sorry, it just slipped out."

"Don't be sorry. I like that." She giggled.

"You do?" I asked.

"Yeah. Speaking of names. Can I guess your real name?"

"What?"

"Luciel is your baptismal name. I wanna know your real name."

"My baptismal name is just as important as my birth name so I don't think you need to find out. I'm fine with Luciel, Seven Zero Seven, God Seven or Defender of Justice 707."

"But I wanna call you by your real name. I wanna know the real you." She said. My heart skipped a beat.

"W-what do you think my real name is?" I gave in.

"Can you give me a hint first?"

"It starts with S and eight letters."

"Hmm. S and eight letters."

"I really doubt you would get it."

"Try me." She sounded determined.

"How bout we make it more fun."

"Oooh, what do you suggest?"

"If you get it right...I'll come visit you at Rika's apartment. As soon as you get it, I'm coming over." I'm only saying this because I know she won't get it.

"I guess I'll see you in an hour, Y/n." Luciel said then ended the phone call. My eyes widened in realization.

"I guess I'll see you, Saeyoung Choi." I smiled and got dressed up.

I'm going to meet the man that has made me feel happy and giddy this past week. I'm going to meet my protector. I can't believe this is happening.

yknow now that i think about it, if mystic messenger wasn't so loyal to traditional gender roles it would not have the issue of "female character does emotional labor for the male characters and puts up with their bs"

if only mc was not stuck in a traditional role of "soft nurturer girl" and able to be a lot more proactive and take on the "protector" role instead

i read an amazing honkai star rail analysis on gender identity in aventurine's story and loved that it basically reverses the roles ; which is, as the author of that analysis said, probably one of reasons why he is a popular character amongst ladies . why cant cheritz do the same ? i honestly think it could really benefit the narrative!

cheritz needs to realize that by liberating our fem mc from traditional gender roles it will give her more power and make the issue i began this post with almost nonexistent. y'all alrdy have two canonically queer characters, you might as well stop with the archaic gender norms😭its okay for her to be the knight instead of the damsel in distress

it's especially frustrating when its with characters like saeyoung, who, in my opinion, require protection more than actually being the protector lol . (hes also one of the two before mentioned queer characters so this gender norm issue is especially confusing in his route)

this is one of the reasons why i like hana from the webtoon !! shes more proactive and bold, which also leads to her basically speedrunning seven's whole "im too dangerous for you go away" shenanigans
